[00:00:00] Jesus employed a tactic that can help us all regroup.

[00:00:04] Tune in for more.

[00:00:09] Hello and welcome to MoMo634, the daily podcast chock full of faith filled inspiration and

[00:00:16] motivation.

[00:00:18] Please like, share and subscribe.

[00:00:22] MoMo634 Motivational Moments, just for today.

[00:00:41] A while back in the episode, I know you are but what am I?

[00:00:45] I discussed the terms introvert and extrovert.

[00:00:49] After my whole life thinking I was an extrovert, because I tend to be chatty and am told I exhibit

[00:00:57] leadership skills, I realized that I am actually an ambivert because I find social situations

[00:01:05] draining and with OCD on the job, anxiety provoking.

[00:01:11] As I age, I notice the already low frustration tolerance worsening and my batteries being drained

[00:01:19] faster than an older model iPhone.

[00:01:22] So as is my custom, I turned to prayer to talk to God about it and scripture to hear

[00:01:30] his answer.

[00:01:31] The boundaries and filters I've discussed in recent episodes are being fine tuned

[00:01:36] and tweaked.

[00:01:38] And when I abide by them, and don't give OCD a foot in the door to tell me that I better

[00:01:44] check email or respond to a text because you're gonna forget.

[00:01:51] They are helpful.

[00:01:53] However, contained in God's word is something I need to embrace again.

[00:01:59] It should have been a first level defense and I'm ashamed to admit it hasn't been

[00:02:05] for a while.

[00:02:08] Luke 5.16 tells us, yet he frequently withdrew to the wilderness to pray.

[00:02:15] I do pray, fervently and often, but in keeping with how my brain works they are running

[00:02:23] commentaries if you will.

[00:02:26] I pray lots of little prayers and they keep me connected to God throughout the day.

[00:02:32] I don't think that's necessarily a bad thing.

[00:02:36] First Thessalonians 5.17 tells us to pray without ceasing.

[00:02:41] That can be taken a couple of ways and you see how I've run with it.

[00:02:47] But Jesus in his wisdom shows the benefit of sustained prayer and prayer removed from

[00:02:55] peoplely distractions.

[00:02:58] Before marriage and kids, in addition to my running commentary prayers, I did a lot more

[00:03:05] of this.

[00:03:07] I realize I need to return to it.

[00:03:10] I need to start my day by plugging into the power source and I need one-on-one time

[00:03:17] before my battery gets drained by the day's interactions.

[00:03:23] Our meme for today says, battery drained?

[00:03:27] Plug in to the power source.

[00:03:31] Check out the episode Social Anxiety when it's too peoplely linked below.

[00:03:38] What's your best tip for withdrawing to a private place to commune with God and recharge?
