[00:00:25] Just for today. As I've alluded to for a few months now, our family has gone through a rough patch. Really rough. In fact, I don't think many know the extent of all that we've had to deal with,
[00:00:55] but just shy of being on the other side of it where I'm almost able to step out of the shadow of the tunnel into the full sunlight. I can see the blessings. In the book I'm currently reading,
[00:01:09] number 168 for the year, for those of you playing along at home. A woman is struggling with her long dormant faith. She doesn't understand the problem of suffering. We've alluded to it here in the episodes celestial bellhop experience and the journey begins among others.
[00:01:31] But with this recent bout of, let's just call it life. The point has been driven home again. God's view from on high is best. His knowledge of past, present and future informs his will
[00:01:48] and his plans for us. And his timing is impeccable. Let me give you an example. Remember just a couple of months ago when I was bomoning the termination of a work contract because I wouldn't compromise my integrity? It was a toxic work environment to be sure.
[00:02:08] So I knew I was blessed to be out of there in that regard. But it did put us in a very precarious position. With the new work contract that began this week,
[00:02:20] it was clear from the outset that there was no way I would have been able to do both jobs. Both were part-time, but the current part-time was full time this week. As a ramp-up, it's unclear if it will stay that way or not.
[00:02:37] Having gone through some deserts in a few areas of my life recently, it's shown me that God really does have the aerial view and he really does work all things for good. A phrase found in Acts 320 has been stuck in my head all day.
[00:02:58] The times of refreshing may come from the presence of the Lord. I needed the time to rest and detox. Now I'm refreshed and ready to go and with a deeper appreciation for my God and Father.
