[00:00:56] Even before our marriage almost 35 years ago, he collected comic books, sports cards, action figures and the like.

[00:01:05] Sometimes the artist would sign and number an item, meaning it was unique, limited edition,

[00:01:11] special and rare.

[00:01:13] So, two are we.

[00:01:15] God created us individually, noting our value and worth,

[00:01:19] numbering the hairs on our heads according to Matthew 10, 30 and 31.

[00:01:25] So today, on my husband's birthday, listen to the words of Psalm 139,

[00:01:30] where God discusses creating his masterpiece, mankind, each unique and special.

[00:01:38] Oh Lord, you have searched me and known me.

[00:01:41] You know when I sit down and when I rise up.

[00:01:44] You discern my thoughts from afar.

[00:01:47] You search out my path and my lying down and are acquainted with all my ways.

[00:01:52] Even before our word is on my tongue, behold, oh Lord, you know it all together.

[00:01:58] You hem me in, behind and before, and lay your hand upon me.

[00:02:03] Such knowledge is too wonderful for me.

[00:02:06] It is high. I cannot attain it.

[00:02:08] Where shall I go from your spirit?

[00:02:10] Or where shall I flee from your presence?

[00:02:13] If I ascend to heaven, you are there.

[00:02:16] If I make my bed and shield, you are there.

[00:02:19] If I take the wings of the morning and dwell in the uttermost parts of the sea,

[00:02:24] even there, your hands shall lead me and your right hands shall hold me.

[00:02:29] If I say surely the darkness will cover me and the light about me be night,

[00:02:34] even the darkness is not dark to you.

[00:02:37] The night is as bright as the day for darkness is as light with you.

[00:02:42] For you formed my inward parts, you knitted me together in my mother's womb.

[00:02:48] I praise you for I am fearfully and wonderfully made.

[00:02:52] Wonderful are your works. My soul knows it very well.

[00:02:57] My frame was not hidden from you when I was being made in secret,

[00:03:01] intricately woven in the depths of the earth.

[00:03:04] Your eyes saw my unformed substance.

[00:03:08] In your book were written every one of them,

[00:03:11] the days that were formed for me.

[00:03:13] When as yet there was none of them.

[00:03:16] How precious to me are your thoughts, oh God.

[00:03:19] How vast is the sum of them?

[00:03:21] If I would count them, they are more than the sand I awake

[00:03:25] and I am still with you.
