[00:00:00] Why Evolution Gets It Wrong Again and How God Sets the Record Straight with Science. Tune in!

[00:00:12] Hello and welcome to MoMo634, the daily podcast chock-full of faith-filled inspiration and motivation.

[00:00:21] Please like, share, and subscribe. MoMo634, Motivational Moments just for today.

[00:00:30] I really wanted to be a child psychologist, but 40 years ago in my native Bay Area of California,

[00:00:52] my university was extremely humanistic. As a new Christian, I found the concept that ontogeny

[00:01:01] recapitulates phylogeny did not leave space for a creationistic viewpoint, and I wasn't

[00:01:09] going to regurgitate evolutionary dogma. In simplistic terms, ontogeny recapitulates phylogeny means that

[00:01:18] the journey we take from womb to world mimics the evolutionary process theorized in humanistic

[00:01:25] teaching. That we are one-celled organisms in primordial slime that evolve into human form.

[00:01:34] I've also mentioned that I'm studying chemistry as part of my aromatherapy certification, and that I'm

[00:01:41] not a very science-y gal. However, a picture in one of my chemistry classes struck a chord. A number of them,

[00:01:51] in fact. In our midweek Bible study, we're in the book of Genesis. Having recently discussed creation,

[00:02:00] when I saw a picture of an individual membrane-wrapped cell, it showed water inside the cell,

[00:02:08] a membrane as the outer layer of the cell separating it from the water inside our bodies.

[00:02:18] With that in mind, water inside the human cell, separated by a membrane acting as a barrier to

[00:02:26] water inside the body. Listen to the words of the creation account of the second day from Genesis 1,

[00:02:35] 6-8. And God said, Let there be an expanse between the waters to separate the waters from the waters,

[00:02:45] so God made the expanse and separated the waters beneath it from the waters above. And it was so.

[00:02:54] God called the expanse sky, and there was evening, and there was morning, the second day.

[00:03:03] Romans 1-20 tells us that nature itself declares that there is a designer behind the intelligent design.

[00:03:11] The eye and how cameras mimic it to take pictures. Our lungs, the branchioles of which look like trees,

[00:03:22] reminding us of the symbiotic relationship we as humans have with trees. Humans exhale carbon dioxide,

[00:03:30] which trees need for photosynthesis. And trees produce oxygen, which humans need in order to breathe.

[00:03:39] The Bible talks about channels of the sea, currents of the wind, constellations, orbits of the sun,

[00:03:49] moon, and planets, long before humans understood these concepts. Truly, Psalm 14-1 is correct to say

[00:04:00] that only the foolish would claim there is no God. How can we refute his plain evidence?

[00:04:07] Jeremiah 29-13 says,

[00:04:11] You will seek me and find me when you search for me with all your heart.

[00:04:18] Our meme for today echoes this sentiment saying,

[00:04:22] God is plain to see by eyes that truly seek him.

[00:04:29] What, to you, is the most mind-blowing aspect of God's design?

[00:04:36] Chime in below.
