[00:00:00] Introvert, Extrovert, Ambervert, What Does It All Mean? Tune in and Find Out. Hello and welcome to MoMo634, The Daily Podcast Chopful of Faithful, Inspiration, and Motivation. MoMo634, Motivational Moments, Just for today. For so long I was convinced I was an extrovert.

[00:00:48] When my daughter insisted she was an introvert, I couldn't believe it, since she used the word shy interchangeably. When a friend who not only is a public speaker but teaches public speaking told my husband that he was an introvert, I was shocked.

[00:01:09] So clearly I didn't understand the terms. Over-simplified and not in any sort of clinical evaluative way, the terms can generally be defined this way. Introverts tend to look inside themselves to problem solve.

[00:01:29] It's not so much shyness as it is that they can be drained easily by sustained group energy. They use quiet time to recharge, regroup or seek solutions. Extroverts enjoy spontaneity and being in groups. They recharge by group energy, networking and solving problems together. They have natural leadership tendencies.

[00:01:58] And of course you can fall in between as I do. It turns out that I'm actually an ambervert having traits of both. Since I do have an anxiety-based disorder in OCD, it stands to reason social anxiety can get the best of me for hours,

[00:02:20] even days before an event. It's one of the reasons this podcast is short and via audio. There are tons of tests online to find out which can't you fall under. Some are for fun only. Some are full on personality tests.

[00:02:40] Knowing a little more about yourself can sometimes be helpful in understanding yourself in context and helping others understand your unique characteristics. Whatever your designation, know this according to Psalm 139-14. I praise you for I am fearfully and wonderfully made.

[00:03:07] Marvelous are your works and I know this very well. Our meme for today says the world needs all kinds of people including exactly the type you are. Are you an introvert, extrovert or an ambervert? Tell us in the comments below. We'll see you in the next episode.
