[00:00:00] Our last episode centered around resources for adults to kickstart your Bible studies.

[00:00:06] Tune in today for studies geared towards kids and teens.

[00:00:13] Hello and welcome to MoMo634, the daily podcast chock full of faith-filled inspiration and

[00:00:21] motivation.

[00:00:22] Please like, share, and subscribe.

[00:00:26] MoMo634 – Motivational Moments just for today.

[00:00:45] In our last episode, I linked a number of great resources for adults.

[00:00:51] Some of them, such as the Journaling Bible and Reading Plan Generator, will work for teens

[00:00:56] too.

[00:00:57] I discovered a version of the Bible I love for devotional studies, as I find it's accurate

[00:01:05] and easy to read – the Berean Study Bible, or BSB.

[00:01:11] For deep studies, I prefer the NASB or ESV, as they are on the word-for-word side of the

[00:01:19] continuum.

[00:01:20] The BSB, however, while still faithful and accurate, is easier to read for my daily readings

[00:01:27] when I want a narrative.

[00:01:29] On my YouVersion Bible app, there are footnotes and cross-references, but I enjoy a chronological

[00:01:36] study that's like reading a book.

[00:01:38] The YouVersion app is free on your device's app store, and the BSB is a great version for

[00:01:46] kids and teens.

[00:01:48] To memorize scripture, there are some great tools in our previous episode, Word for the

[00:01:54] Year 2025, linked below this episode at Substack, including copy work and 3x5 scripture memorization

[00:02:03] cards.

[00:02:04] Additionally, my favorite resource of all for kids, teens, and honestly, adults too, is found

[00:02:12] at apologeticspress.org, which I'm linking here.

[00:02:16] They have tons of free articles and back issues of Discovery, their monthly 8-page resource for

[00:02:23] kids, and the teen version called Valor and Virtue.

[00:02:27] For adults, they have reason and revelation back issues.

[00:02:32] They have a completely free curriculum called AP for Apologetics Press, not Advanced Placement,

[00:02:39] although truly it is Advanced Placement.

[00:02:42] For some of their articles, it is so thorough and detailed.

[00:02:47] And their home study courses are modestly priced.

[00:02:50] I have personally used their Explorer series, both for homeschool and as a Bible class teacher,

[00:02:56] and I cannot recommend it highly enough.

[00:02:59] The series dedicated to Christian evidences and apologetics is the finest I've seen in

[00:03:06] 40 years as a Christian educator.

[00:03:08] As always, I will link these resources below here at Substack.

[00:03:13] For those tuning in via a different platform, check out the links at momo634.com.

[00:03:21] Ecclesiastes 12.1 says,

[00:03:23] Remember your Creator in the days of your youth, before the days of adversity come, and the years

[00:03:30] approach, of which you will say, I find no pleasure in them.

[00:03:35] Proverbs 22.6 reminds us,

[00:03:37] Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old, he will not depart from it.

[00:03:44] Our meme for today says,

[00:03:46] Plant a seed of love for the Lord in a child's heart,

[00:03:51] faithfully water it,

[00:03:52] and pray as God's harvest comes to fruition.

[00:03:57] What tools are you using to grow the faith of your child or teen?

[00:04:01] Comment below.

[00:04:04] In complete transparency,

[00:04:06] the Amazon links are affiliate links,

[00:04:08] and I may receive a small commission,

[00:04:10] at no cost to you,

[00:04:12] even though these are products our family has used and loved.

[00:04:17] However,

[00:04:18] all of the free resources

[00:04:20] and links to Apologetics Press

[00:04:22] are in the spirit of sharing

[00:04:24] amazing tools

[00:04:26] our family has relied upon

[00:04:28] to seal God's word in our hearts.

[00:04:31] I hope they are a blessing to you.

[00:04:34] What tools would you add to this list?

[00:04:37] Chime in below.

[00:04:41] Thanks for listening to Momo 634,
