[00:00:00] When anger overflows, it's bad physically, mentally and spiritually.

[00:00:30] It's interesting that many in the world call believers, science deniers and flat

[00:00:51] authors when the Bible is replete with scientific facts.

[00:00:57] The Bible discusses air currents, channels under the sea, constellations, contagion

[00:01:04] and food handling and more.

[00:01:08] And it has long warned about anger, wrath and rage.

[00:01:14] As discussed in previous episodes, anger by itself isn't the problem.

[00:01:20] It's what we do with it, and sometimes how we express it that crosses over into sins

[00:01:26] territories.

[00:01:28] Be angry and do not sin.

[00:01:31] Do not let the sun set upon your anger, Ephesians 426.

[00:01:37] My beloved brothers, understand this.

[00:01:41] Everyone should be quick to listen, slow to speak and slow to anger.

[00:01:47] James 119.

[00:01:50] Get rid of all bitterness, rage and anger, outcry and slander along with every form of

[00:01:58] malice.

[00:02:00] Ephesians 431.

[00:02:03] As if God saying so isn't enough to end the matter, and for me, and most if not all

[00:02:09] of you it is, there's now a new study about anger that confirms what Bible believers

[00:02:16] have known all along.

[00:02:19] A research team at Ohio State University studied, well, a number of other studies on anger.

[00:02:27] Right now, all the rage pun intended are rage rooms and the like to help vent anger and

[00:02:34] provide catharsis.

[00:02:37] Except it doesn't, according to these researchers.

[00:02:41] They studied a group of over 10,000 participants in addition to the aforementioned studies

[00:02:48] and concluded that activities such as progressive muscle relaxation and one of the items discussed

[00:02:56] on this podcast a number of times, diaphragmatic breathing also known as belly breathing are more

[00:03:03] productive alternatives.

[00:03:07] I will again link to the resource for belly breathing as mastering it can be tricky, but

[00:03:13] once done is a game changer.

[00:03:16] Not only for anger, but mood issues and respiratory conditions such as asthma.

[00:03:23] Our meme for today says, anger vented in the moment can produce sorrow for eternity.

[00:03:33] What are your best tips for dealing with anger?
