...as we know it?
Since 2019, I've been podcasting and trying to bring a little light, encouragement, and inspiration through the Gifts for Glory Podcast, where we celebrate and promote men and women using their gifts for God's glory.
All about #OGHG.
Well, with my bride and I transitioning into full time ministry as US Missionaries, time and, frankly, desire, have dwindled. Also, resources have dwindled and I need to make personal cuts (no sponsors yet, so all this gloriousness has been out of pocket!)
So, one more podcast. Going live Monday night, 6pm Central time.
Is this the end? Is this a hiatus? Will there be a rebirth? I'll let God decide that one!
This podcast I'll dive in to the amazing year Jesus has had in the box office. Jesus Revolution, Nefarious, Sound of Freedom, and more!
I'll also talk about improv, becoming a missionary, and what you, if so led, might be able to do to help Bobbie and I get out there!

[00:00:00] Welcome to the Gifts for Glory Podcast, where we celebrate and promote men and women using
[00:00:15] their gifts for God's glory.
[00:00:17] Know someone who is making an impact for God's Kingdom using their gifts, talents and passions?
[00:00:23] We'd love to meet them.
[00:00:24] Send us an email at thepodcast at GiftsforGlory.com.
[00:00:28] And now here is our host, Dave Ebert.
[00:00:35] Hey, good evening friends and neighbors and welcome to this final plan, the edition of Gifts
[00:00:43] for Glory Podcast.
[00:00:44] For those that have listened, we have really strong listenership on the podcast in Indonesia
[00:00:53] and India.
[00:00:55] So we want to thank you for all those that have listened throughout the years, for the
[00:01:02] last almost five years since we started the show.
[00:01:06] We started as an audio only podcast and then in 2020 we went to video.
[00:01:15] And of course what, how could I end this episode?
[00:01:20] I'm going to be in this show without the shadows of a cat interfering or getting a trooper,
[00:01:28] our feline friend has made numerous appearances throughout the year.
[00:01:33] So of course he's going to be here tonight to be a part of our show.
[00:01:37] So we are wrapping up Gifts for Glory Podcast as you may have known or may have noticed
[00:01:47] that we went from weekly to twice a month and then have really been absent for almost
[00:01:53] a month now since our last show.
[00:01:56] And it was, it's just that time is kind of running out as far as like being able to commit
[00:02:04] to doing a well prepared show and to give you guys the best show that I can.
[00:02:11] And I will admit that there was a loss of motivation when the creative motion network was taken
[00:02:18] down off of Roku.
[00:02:19] I don't know if any of you follow that story or know anything about that.
[00:02:25] But the creative motion network was an inspiration to start doing the video podcast and doing
[00:02:30] it live every week.
[00:02:33] And it was just, it was a lot of fun to share the stories, to share the testimonies.
[00:02:39] And to hear the testimonies of so many amazing people over the course of the last five years.
[00:02:45] So those of you that are going to watch whether you're watching live or you're going to watch
[00:02:50] the replay or you just listening to the audio on your favorite podcast platform.
[00:02:54] I just want to thank you for hanging out with us all this time.
[00:02:58] Now there is say caveat, maybe this is kind of like Michael Jordan's first retirement
[00:03:03] for the bowls 99.9990% retired or taking the podcast away.
[00:03:10] But then there is that point 1% that I might come back, I might do something different.
[00:03:16] But so again, Trooper does not want to be left out.
[00:03:21] You see the ear in the bottom part of your screen as he needs the attention right now.
[00:03:28] He can't wait till the after the show.
[00:03:30] So of course, what what Degas your podcast series finale would be complete without Trooper.
[00:03:38] So we're just thankful to have you along with us.
[00:03:40] Just going to talk about my future plans and the different things that we have going on
[00:03:46] that that have started taking up our time so that I'm not really able to dedicate to the
[00:03:52] podcast right this moment.
[00:03:55] There are a lot of great guests that I've really wanted to bring on.
[00:03:58] I'm just having a chance to connect with them.
[00:04:01] So there's a lot of unfinished business with the podcast which is kind of what we do in
[00:04:08] improv, what we used to do when I was a pro wrestler you want to leave them wanting more.
[00:04:14] So I'm hoping that those that have watched or listened that I'm leaving and wanting
[00:04:18] a little bit more so that maybe if time comes when things slow down, we can redo this
[00:04:26] and revisit this and maybe do something a little bit different.
[00:04:30] But for now, this is going to be our last episode.
[00:04:31] Don't have any guests scheduled but I will say this if you're somebody that's watching
[00:04:36] that maybe you're a former guest or somebody that always wanted to join me and have a conversation.
[00:04:42] Private message me through Facebook and I will send you the link and you can jump right
[00:04:46] in.
[00:04:48] So feel free to take advantage of that as well because if you want to jump in, I'd love
[00:04:52] to talk to you and have a chat and we'll see how long this episode goes.
[00:04:59] So let me put that note up here as a pop-up so anybody that wants to tune in can join us
[00:05:10] so we're just hanging on with you one second.
[00:05:12] Again, like I said, time to prep and prepare and plan and pray and get the way it needs
[00:05:20] to as been a struggle and that's why fewer and fewer episodes have come out the last few
[00:05:25] months and that's why we're going to go ahead and pull the plug after tonight's episode.
[00:05:32] So we get that note up for anybody that joined this late.
[00:05:39] All right, so let me put that up on the screen now.
[00:05:47] If you're somebody that's tuning in whether you're a past guest or something that I probably
[00:05:54] should have found a way to get you on, please email or message me and I'll get you the
[00:06:00] show link and you jump in.
[00:06:02] And we'll talk for a few minutes and we'll go from there.
[00:06:05] So do want to thank all of the guests that have been a part of the Guest Reward Podcast.
[00:06:11] That's so many amazing guests.
[00:06:13] It's so hard, it's really hard to really nail down like a favorite.
[00:06:22] Easy enter of course was early on like this fourth episode I did.
[00:06:27] And she brought my wife on back when we was the audio only podcast back when we were
[00:06:32] testing and trying to figure things out that was way way back.
[00:06:38] When I had Bobby on we end that was the time when we pre-recorded and we were in the bedroom.
[00:06:45] I had a mic and she had a mic and my mic had a short in the cord.
[00:06:50] And unfortunately most of what I had to say was was not heard or was not clear.
[00:06:59] So back on June 2019 June 5th 2019 is when I published the episode with me and my wife,
[00:07:06] Bobby.
[00:07:08] That was I think there was actually the fifth episode that we did.
[00:07:14] So we had it took me a while to actually convince Bobby to join me and come on the podcast
[00:07:20] and share her story.
[00:07:23] But you can look at anchor dot FM slash gifts for glory and you can look at all of our episodes,
[00:07:31] the first episode being published April 17th 2019.
[00:07:35] So just over four years so it's felt like I started in 2018.
[00:07:40] I think that's when I started planning it but my first episode was back in April 2019
[00:07:45] when I had Ryan McChesney who is my co-founder of Wellverse Comedy.
[00:07:51] Well at that point it was Ha Ha Men.
[00:07:54] We founded that in actually early 2013 as when we started the comedy and then life changed
[00:08:01] and seasons changed and Ryan left the team.
[00:08:05] But I was always respected and appreciated what he did to help get Wellverse Comedy in
[00:08:10] his current form off the ground as Ha Ha Men way back in the day.
[00:08:15] Another great episode really had a lot of fun talking to Dr. Felicity Joyce Solomon.
[00:08:22] And that conversation was actually the second take and that was back in early spring 2019
[00:08:31] when I interviewed Dr. Felicity Joy who is a good friend of the show and in fact she's
[00:08:40] been a Patreon supporter for many years helping support this little thing on this little
[00:08:46] show.
[00:08:47] But we had a great conversation back in April 2019.
[00:08:51] The title of the episode is The Necessary Awkwardness of Social Interactions.
[00:08:56] We just really talked and dove into the fact that it's so hard to have real conversations
[00:09:02] anymore.
[00:09:03] We can't ask questions for fear of offending or getting canceled.
[00:09:07] And we really dove into that and how prophetic was that because it's just, you know, the
[00:09:12] cancel culture has been on steroids the last few years.
[00:09:16] So I really had a great conversation with that.
[00:09:19] That was my second episode.
[00:09:20] I started up a split in the two parts with Coach Mark King who was the founder and owner
[00:09:28] of the Florida flight down in Orlando.
[00:09:30] He's a coach and he's done a lot of great things for the kingdom around the sport of basketball.
[00:09:38] And then we had Austin and Lebb who were coming up to Illinois for pure fest back in 2019.
[00:09:44] They joined me in May.
[00:09:46] And then we had Brad Newton founder of Kid Prove and Him Probe.
[00:09:51] In a very funny story about that guest, I first met him through Facebook in 2013 when Ryan
[00:09:58] and I ran Riches and he mentioned just a moment ago, the two of us were founding the improv
[00:10:03] group when we thought, Hey, what about a word play?
[00:10:06] What if we talk about him as in God, Him Probe.
[00:10:09] So we come up with a name, Him Probe, which is a brilliant name because it had already
[00:10:13] been taken for about a decade by Brad Newton and his team down Dallas.
[00:10:19] And so that's how we met where like, Hey, can we be Him Probe Chicago?
[00:10:23] And they said, No, I want you guys to pick your own identity and that we did.
[00:10:29] But Brad is a dear friend now and it just kind of, it's wonderful.
[00:10:34] God just brings things full circle and people who are in the body of press that maybe meet
[00:10:41] under odd circumstances or crazy circumstances and have become any dear friends.
[00:10:49] So for those of you that have missed our many shows, I've really had a lot of great
[00:10:57] guests throughout the years.
[00:11:00] You can also hear some of the messages I gave when I would give the message at Crosspoint
[00:11:06] Church or former church.
[00:11:08] I shared those as well on my podcast.
[00:11:13] Right when overcomer came out in the fall of 2019, Cameron Arnet as a guest.
[00:11:21] Let's see other other.
[00:11:23] I had JP to has been doing a lot of a lot of great work for the kingdom just promoting
[00:11:31] the name of Jesus.
[00:11:34] He actually made a film called opening the door, homosexuality in the church.
[00:11:39] Great documentary something to really get the conversation started about homosexuality
[00:11:45] within the church.
[00:11:47] So that was a great episode.
[00:11:52] So I'm just as I'm talking, I'm just scrolling through all the different names of the people
[00:11:56] that we've had.
[00:11:58] It's been a blessing to talk to all these amazing guests throughout the year.
[00:12:06] So if you ever board and you want to go back and see how bad I started off and how bad
[00:12:11] I sounded, please go back.
[00:12:14] You can look me up on anchor.fm slash gifts for glory.
[00:12:19] And check out the history of the podcast.
[00:12:23] So it's been a great ride.
[00:12:26] And I want to talk tonight a little bit about what's going on in the future, but I'm not
[00:12:32] going to do that right now.
[00:12:34] I'm going to actually transition to our final devotions with Dave segment.
[00:12:41] Devotions with Dave every show we always had brought a verse and I shared my thoughts
[00:12:46] on it.
[00:12:47] I've used before, so don't judge me for doing a repeat.
[00:12:53] But this is a verse that's very inspirational to the podcast.
[00:12:57] And it's so important in our day-to-day lives just to realize the weight and the gravity
[00:13:03] of this verse.
[00:13:04] It's Revelation 12-11 coming out of the New Living Translation.
[00:13:10] And they have defeated him which is our enemy Satan by the blood of the Lamb.
[00:13:15] Christ did all the work.
[00:13:17] He did all the work by shedding his blood on the cross of Calvary.
[00:13:21] That is what gave us the victory, but we can overcome through that and also by our testimony.
[00:13:27] So it says, and they have defeated him by the blood of the Lamb and their testimony.
[00:13:32] And they did not love their lives so much that they were afraid to die.
[00:13:37] So vulnerability being willing to sacrifice, sharing the testimony of what God has done
[00:13:43] in and through you.
[00:13:45] So the first, the completed work is the blood of the Lamb.
[00:13:49] But then we have to tell what God did and I compare it to a dating or a marriage relationship.
[00:13:56] When you start dating somebody, if you don't share about what that person is doing in your
[00:14:01] life, you don't tell people, hey, this person has changed my life.
[00:14:05] This person excites me.
[00:14:06] This person is, as we get cliché, this person completes me.
[00:14:12] If we don't tell, then is it really true that we love this person?
[00:14:17] Are we denying the fact that we love them if we don't tell a soul?
[00:14:22] And that's kind of the similar thing with this verse.
[00:14:24] It's telling us, yeah, the blood of the Lamb saved you, but if you truly receive it,
[00:14:29] if it's truly saved you, if it's truly changed your eternity, then you gotta tell somebody.
[00:14:36] It's the blood of the Lamb and your testimony.
[00:14:39] The blood of the Lamb saves you, yes.
[00:14:43] But the fact that all the mistakes, all the sins, everything that you've done wrong,
[00:14:48] everything that you've done selfishly, everything that you've done to hurt others, everything
[00:14:52] that you've done to disobey or reject or rebel against God, all of that is wiped away
[00:14:56] by the blood of the Lamb.
[00:14:59] If you don't tell somebody, have you really received it?
[00:15:04] If it doesn't change your point where you want people to know, maybe you really received
[00:15:09] it.
[00:15:09] I'd say quote, I've shared that it's just something that came to mind many years ago was,
[00:15:15] if you're a Christian and nobody knows it, are you really?
[00:15:21] Now, I understand that missionaries in China or the Underground Church in Saudi Arabia
[00:15:26] or Iran, yeah, those people that you're working with maybe they don't know you're a Christian,
[00:15:33] but somebody does.
[00:15:35] Somebody's supporting you, somebody's praying for you.
[00:15:37] So somebody back home knows you're a Christian.
[00:15:40] So that's a completely different circumstance.
[00:15:42] I'm talking about, if you say yeah, I'm a Christian but nobody knows, you've not told a soul?
[00:15:49] It's kind of like that that question from Tom Cruise, the Jack Nicholson in a few good men.
[00:15:57] Willie Santiago was so excited about going home.
[00:16:01] He didn't make one phone call.
[00:16:04] He didn't tell a soul where he was going home.
[00:16:08] Which is suspicious.
[00:16:10] So if you claim Christ in your mind and you think I'm saved but you haven't told anybody,
[00:16:16] you have an express excitement, you don't go to church, you don't fellowship with other believers,
[00:16:20] you got a question, is your salvation truly as real as you want it to be?
[00:16:25] Or did you just get the membership card and it's like an insurance policy?
[00:16:30] The insurance policy is not going to work for you.
[00:16:33] We have overcome by the blood of the Lamb in the word of our testimony.
[00:16:39] Revelation 12-11 and they've defeated him by the blood of the Lamb and their testimony
[00:16:44] and they did not love their lives that they were afraid to die.
[00:16:48] Now, in our day and age, that can be applied just to dying the court of public opinion.
[00:16:54] Because it's not always safe among your friends and family to share your testimony,
[00:16:58] I need to share who Jesus is.
[00:17:01] So sometimes that being not afraid to die includes a fear to sacrifice your status,
[00:17:09] where you sit in society, where you sit among your friends and family.
[00:17:17] Sometimes dying to self means just simply putting pride on the shelf saying,
[00:17:22] yeah, Jesus saved me.
[00:17:23] Jesus did this for me.
[00:17:24] Jesus helped me overcome this addiction or this sin.
[00:17:30] So we win by Christ's blood and by sharing what he's done.
[00:17:38] So don't be quiet about it, especially in these days.
[00:17:42] We're in July right now as I speak.
[00:17:45] Last month was all about sharing the antithesis of being saved and bought by the blood
[00:17:53] of Christ. The rest of us need to start being just as vocal and sharing our testimony
[00:18:02] and sharing about the power of the blood of the Lamb.
[00:18:05] So that is our devotion with Dave segment four tonight, our last episode of Gist of Glory.
[00:18:11] So thank you, thankful for those of you that are going to watch or those that are going to listen
[00:18:15] and be a part of this final episode.
[00:18:19] Whether you're watching live or whether you're watching the replay,
[00:18:23] please feel free to leave a comment and share any moments that you've enjoyed from the show,
[00:18:28] anything that maybe you like. It's good that you're hitting a day. This could have been a lot better.
[00:18:35] I'll take the feedback just for any event then I feel like it's time to bring back a podcast
[00:18:40] again in the future. But just so thankful to Felicity Joy for being a Patreon supporter for so many
[00:18:48] years. I want to encourage you to look her up on Facebook, find her her different efforts.
[00:18:55] She's running a home church. She's also got Black conservative female. She's also a life coach.
[00:19:01] So I'll find Dr. Felicity Joy on Facebook and social media. And just thank you for helping
[00:19:08] support Gist of Glory for all these years. So one of the things that I wanted to do tonight is
[00:19:13] highlight how big of a year the last 12 months have been for the name of Jesus at the box office.
[00:19:24] We're talking like some heavy hitting opportunities that the name of Christ has had in the theaters.
[00:19:31] You know, we're talking about the chosen, had two theatrical releases to kick off their
[00:19:37] to kick off in Raptor seasons. They also had prior to that they had the Christmas special in theaters.
[00:19:43] So the chosen has made an impact in the theaters and kind of helped pave the way
[00:19:49] or some of these other other films. Now I want to just play a few trailers for you in case
[00:19:56] you haven't seen these or in case you just need to be reminded. The first one we'll play is the
[00:20:03] one that's currently in theaters. It's had a really strong run. It's one that my wife and I went to
[00:20:08] see the second day was out phenomenal film and it helps raise awareness on modern day slavery.
[00:20:17] We fought a civil war to end slavery of the black slaves in the South. It's now time to fight
[00:20:25] another fight. I pray it's not going to be a civil war, but I pray it's done at the ballot box.
[00:20:31] I pray that it's done in our legislatures. I pray that our law enforcement are given the tools
[00:20:36] needed to end this modern day slavery. Men, women and children are bought and sold daily
[00:20:44] in America. America is the highest, the largest customer and consumer of the sex trades.
[00:20:51] One of the things and the thing I'll talk about later is what Bobby and I are going to be doing
[00:20:57] in the coming years is working with more survivors of sex trafficking. For the last four and
[00:21:04] a few years I volunteered to salt my coalition and I've worked with women who've survived sex
[00:21:09] trafficking using improv as a way to minister to them. These are women some of them were sold as
[00:21:15] children. Mom and dad wanted to sell their baby girl for a quick fix of heroin or cocaine or whatever
[00:21:23] it may have been. Sex trafficking is real. Anybody that says differently is either completely ignorant
[00:21:30] or maliciously trying to cover it up. There are no other option. It's either malicious intent
[00:21:38] or woeful ignorance if you believe that this movie is highlighting something that's not happening.
[00:21:44] I know that there are some articles that they're calling this movie a QAnon conspiracy theory.
[00:21:51] To me that sounds like somebody that wants anything but the light shed on this industry.
[00:21:58] So I'll play for you now the trailer to the to the amazing film, the story of Tim Ballard and
[00:22:05] Operation Underground Railroad. This is called Sound of Freedom in theaters now.
[00:22:16] Now that make you feel
[00:22:25] giving your child is freedom.
[00:22:30] Tell him to go in. You have been at this for 12 years.
[00:22:41] Why are you doing it?
[00:22:47] Yes, God's children are not for sale.
[00:22:53] It is the fastest growing international crime that worked at the world has ever seen.
[00:22:59] For Homeland Security you know we can't go off rescuing Honduran kids in Colombia.
[00:23:05] This job tears you to pieces.
[00:23:10] And this is my one chance to put those pieces back together.
[00:23:17] And yet somehow you have failed to bring me one real world lead.
[00:23:24] It's over 10. Close up and come back home.
[00:23:30] So you quit your job and you go and rescue those kids.
[00:23:34] Let freedom bring you
[00:23:44] So if I thought to do this all revolutionary, no one goes in.
[00:23:50] But if this is your daughter.
[00:23:57] So she's gone.
[00:24:04] Let freedom bring you
[00:24:12] You hear that?
[00:24:17] That's the Sound of Freedom.
[00:24:29] Sound of Freedom is one of those films that can legitimately change this world.
[00:24:33] So we want to ignite a fire in audiences and open their eyes to the dark reality
[00:24:38] of millions of children that need our help.
[00:24:41] Let's make this film as a historic event
[00:24:44] and to start the end of child trafficking.
[00:24:47] Theaters across this country are already selling out.
[00:24:51] Pre-order your tickets today and you can send the message
[00:24:55] that God's children are no longer for sale.
[00:25:04] So that is Sound of Freedom a phenomenal film.
[00:25:14] It's still in theaters and I encourage you to go out.
[00:25:16] If you can't afford it, they have a Pay It Forward program where
[00:25:20] if you can't afford the film, they want you to still see it.
[00:25:22] Many many people have bought tickets to pay it for to allow people
[00:25:25] to go out and see it even if they can't afford it.
[00:25:28] So check that out.
[00:25:30] The link is right here popping up as I speak.
[00:25:33] Our rescue.org slash sound dash of freedom or just google search sound of
[00:25:39] freedom.
[00:25:40] Excuse me and go see the film and support it
[00:25:43] and be challenged by it.
[00:25:46] Be challenged, be angered
[00:25:48] and weep for these kids who are tortured and abused
[00:25:54] neglected and treated like property.
[00:25:59] This is the modern day slavery.
[00:26:01] It's kids, there's women, there's men who are bought in sold daily.
[00:26:06] You know the American Super Bowl every year it's this week of celebration and regalia
[00:26:13] and celebration and football but it's also the largest event for trafficking
[00:26:21] buying, selling, prostitution and the like.
[00:26:24] It's the biggest event in the world because it attracts so many rich and powerful people,
[00:26:30] so many strange faces in a city that nobody knows, nobody recognizes, so much parting
[00:26:36] that people will dismiss.
[00:26:37] They're like, oh that's not anything they'll worry about.
[00:26:41] I have a friend who's named Chris Baker, somebody that I've tried to get on,
[00:26:44] gives you a worry, just never could match our schedules up.
[00:26:48] Chris Baker works with removing or covering up tattoos of people who are either in gains
[00:26:54] or who are bought in sold in the sex trades.
[00:26:59] And many times people who are bought in sold in the sex trades are given a mark,
[00:27:04] a tattoo, something to indicate this person is owned by such and such,
[00:27:10] do not touch, do not interfere.
[00:27:14] And Chris has worked with police on several steam operations at Super Bowls
[00:27:20] to bring to justice people who are buying and selling and trying to meet with
[00:27:26] prostitutes, with kids.
[00:27:29] And so it's a real pandemic, it's a real problem in our world
[00:27:33] and Santa Freedom is trying to raise awareness to that
[00:27:37] and to show you that this is a problem that will not go away just by ignoring it.
[00:27:42] For those of you that don't know,
[00:27:45] one of the biggest problems of having an open border here in the United States is that it allows
[00:27:50] poor children who are promised a better life in America to be trafficked across the border
[00:27:56] to the buyers and sellers.
[00:28:01] Many times the miners come unaccompanied with only a slip of paper with a name and a phone number.
[00:28:08] And unfortunately they're sent to that person and never seen again.
[00:28:13] I was estimated in the last three years around 86,000 children have come across a border and
[00:28:19] disappeared. 86,000.
[00:28:23] And that's just what we know of.
[00:28:25] Now it's an astronomical number almost seems unreal.
[00:28:31] But that's all we know about.
[00:28:33] And surely, yeah, some of those 86,000 sure.
[00:28:36] Some of them pound families and are hiding underneath below the radar.
[00:28:40] Absolutely.
[00:28:42] But even if just one of those 86,000 is being bought and sold as a sex slave,
[00:28:51] that's too much.
[00:28:53] And that's why I appreciate and value what Santa Freedom is raising the alarm for.
[00:29:00] Operation Underground Railroad.
[00:29:02] Check them out.
[00:29:03] Find organizations in your neighborhood.
[00:29:06] If you're in Chicago and check out the Salt and Light Coalition,
[00:29:10] they work with the aftercare of those who have escaped trafficking.
[00:29:13] Their organizations throughout the country, Tim Tibe has an organization working with survivors of sex trafficking.
[00:29:19] It's a huge issue.
[00:29:21] And it's not going to go away by pretending it's not existing.
[00:29:25] It's not going to go away because of cute little articles that call it a QAnon conspiracy theory.
[00:29:31] It's real and it's tragic.
[00:29:35] And it's one of the many reasons that our father in heaven will pass a harsh judgment on our country
[00:29:42] because we've allowed the lease of these.
[00:29:45] We've allowed his children to be bought, sold, raped, and used.
[00:29:55] And thrown away.
[00:29:57] We've turned a blind eye for far too long, not enough of us are willing to speak out.
[00:30:04] And here is a painful fact.
[00:30:07] I know that even within the Christian Church,
[00:30:10] that there are people who are consumers of pornography.
[00:30:18] Sure, there are some actors and actresses who do this kind of work,
[00:30:24] voluntarily.
[00:30:26] But when you consume pornography,
[00:30:30] can you tell which ones want to be there and which ones have been forced to be there?
[00:30:37] You can't. That's the point.
[00:30:41] If you're somebody likes to go out and party, go to Vegas, maybe go overseas
[00:30:45] and maybe hey, let's cut loose.
[00:30:48] It happens in the church too.
[00:30:51] In the church out of the church, if you and you pay for a little rendezvous,
[00:31:00] how can you tell that the person that you are purchasing
[00:31:05] is doing so of their own free will?
[00:31:08] Or is doing so because they feel like they have to.
[00:31:12] Feel like they're forced.
[00:31:15] You can't.
[00:31:16] And that's the point.
[00:31:17] So it's a tragic
[00:31:22] mark on this country that we are the biggest consumers of child porn and of the sex trades.
[00:31:33] So don't let this moment of this movie and a success pass us by when we don't find ways to fight
[00:31:40] this. So check it out.
[00:31:43] Oh, you are rescue dot org.
[00:31:45] Oh, you are rescue dot org slash sound of freedom.
[00:31:49] Find the movie, watch it and wake up America.
[00:31:53] Wake up.
[00:31:56] And in a vein of waking up, I want to play for you another trailer of another movie
[00:32:03] that doesn't have the pureflix happy ending.
[00:32:06] It's not hallmarked plus Jesus.
[00:32:10] This movie is designed specifically
[00:32:14] to wake you up to the realities of what's causing
[00:32:21] this extravagant and the child sex trafficking and the prostitution, the pornography to be
[00:32:26] on the rise in this country as well as in our church.
[00:32:32] It takes one little compromise at a time.
[00:32:34] One little open window or one little crack door
[00:32:38] and the enemy will take whatever you give them to limit you, to possess you
[00:32:46] and to take you hostage.
[00:32:49] Now this is not for a theological debate of whether or not a christian can be oppressed or possessed
[00:32:55] but it is a warning to all that when we play these things and we say oh, it's just
[00:33:03] oh, it's just a game.
[00:33:04] It's a weird word.
[00:33:05] No, it's just a game.
[00:33:07] No, no.
[00:33:09] Anytime anytime you try to tap into the spiritual that isn't God
[00:33:14] you're opening a door that could curse yourself
[00:33:18] your family and your children
[00:33:21] and until you deal with it on a spiritual warfare level
[00:33:26] you're asking for nothing but trouble
[00:33:29] and I think that this movie really raises up that awareness.
[00:33:32] So if you haven't seen yet, you don't know much about it.
[00:33:35] I'll check out this trailer from a nefarious which was in theaters this spring and is now
[00:33:39] available to rent or buy digitally.
[00:33:42] So here is the trailer from nefarious.
[00:33:44] Hello?
[00:33:46] You should have accepted my offer.
[00:34:01] Execution schedule for 11 p.m.
[00:34:03] It's trying to convince us he's gone insane
[00:34:07] and therefore incapable being a kid.
[00:34:10] I need you to prove he's faking it.
[00:34:13] Edward?
[00:34:14] I'm gonna ask you some questions.
[00:34:17] Edward, I'm a demon.
[00:34:21] Demons aren't really a thing.
[00:34:26] We haven't got that.
[00:34:28] We're we own him.
[00:34:29] We?
[00:34:33] He's a master manipulator.
[00:34:35] You have your head so twisted around you think you're the killer.
[00:34:38] Not him.
[00:34:40] And give me something to make me believe you.
[00:34:42] Prove to me you're demon.
[00:34:49] Probably just a coincidence.
[00:34:55] I want to talk to you real Edward.
[00:34:57] Makes me do bad things.
[00:34:59] I can't stop him.
[00:35:01] I need you to see something.
[00:35:03] You got a fan.
[00:35:05] Did the same thing with all his victims.
[00:35:07] You.
[00:35:09] I'm trying to Edward but you have to answer my questions.
[00:35:11] Do you have to tell me the truth?
[00:35:13] This won't let me.
[00:35:15] They can go away.
[00:35:17] They can go away.
[00:35:20] Yes?
[00:35:23] No.
[00:35:28] It's starting to happen.
[00:35:30] Can you feel it?
[00:35:31] The end of your feelings.
[00:35:37] I think it's time.
[00:35:47] We tell you exactly what it is that we'd like you to do.
[00:36:00] So that was a powerful movie.
[00:36:02] It's not for the faint of fire but I do believe every
[00:36:04] Christian should take a chance on seeing it because it addresses
[00:36:09] something that we too often ignore within the church.
[00:36:13] And that's the fact that we are in a spiritual war.
[00:36:16] Whether you want to admit it, admit to it or not,
[00:36:18] we are in a spiritual battle and it's very easy to lose at battle if
[00:36:23] you're not aware of what you're allowing in your life.
[00:36:27] Something as simple as a Ouija board.
[00:36:29] Something as silly as dabbling in witchcraft.
[00:36:33] Just as little compromises.
[00:36:37] That little step, that little crack in the wall that you allow to exist.
[00:36:43] Satan will send his demons in there to use them and manipulate you.
[00:36:48] Now again not a theological debate on whether or not we can be possessed or pressed
[00:36:53] or what have you but the fact is that when we give a foothold to the enemy he will take it
[00:37:01] and it's something that we do not address nearly enough in the church.
[00:37:06] And you know kind of related, we're just linking all these things together because like I said
[00:37:11] a few minutes ago Jesus has had a really great 12 to 18 months in the theater.
[00:37:17] The chosen in the last 18 months I believe has had three different theatrical releases.
[00:37:22] The Christmas special, the beginning of season 3 and then the end of season 3
[00:37:28] I did really well there. Also you had Niferious had a really solid showing.
[00:37:35] Sound of freedom is having a solid showing.
[00:37:37] Now sound of freedom not an overtly Christian movie but doesn't have to be.
[00:37:42] It's about freeing slaves and what could be more Christ-like than freeing those enslaved.
[00:37:48] Niferious was a powerful film showing the realities of spiritual warfare.
[00:37:54] Now related to that we're just kind of linking all these together Greg Locke, Pastor Greg Locke
[00:38:01] and Pastor Vlad and it can never get his name right but Pastor Vlad a lot of you may know
[00:38:07] from YouTube and in the 100th generation they created a film called Come Out in Jesus Name.
[00:38:13] It really well and is now available to rent or buy and there are also a lot of churches
[00:38:19] are having special showings. So check out this trailer of Come Out in Jesus Name
[00:38:25] and again these are all connected it's amazing how God orchestrated all this
[00:38:31] they kind of linked together but come out in Jesus name here's the trailer.
[00:38:34] In the New Testament is it fairifiable that Christians can be attacked and oppressed by demons?
[00:38:40] Come out. God used controversy. I'm on the list. He used CNN, he used the media, he used all of it
[00:38:48] to grow a massive size platform. Controversy built our platform. Two genders never about the
[00:38:57] controversy. It was never about the politics. I thought it was, I thought it was about Trump,
[00:39:04] I thought it was about COVID but God built our platform for deliverance.
[00:39:09] We are headed more into the same prophecy fulfilled before very us.
[00:39:18] There's a kingdom of righteousness and there's a kingdom of darkness.
[00:39:24] Something in our being craves something supernatural.
[00:39:30] If you're addicted to something you have company and he said in the last days the church will give
[00:39:36] he to seducing spirits and doctrines of demons. They will begin to listen to demonic doctrines.
[00:39:41] He doesn't mind you going to church, he doesn't mind you praising his own you don't change.
[00:39:45] There's a great awakening that is coming.
[00:39:50] The kingdom of God is not about talk. Jesus is king. It's about power and demonstration.
[00:39:55] So they don't church in the United States on belief needs a real awakening of deliverance
[00:39:59] because of the evil that's going around.
[00:40:02] Christians can be under the influence of state-genic oppression, a hundred percent they can.
[00:40:07] You see redemption and salvation is for the lost.
[00:40:10] Deliverance is to set the captive free.
[00:40:16] The word of God says these signs shall follow then that belief.
[00:40:21] A lot of the enemies that keep the church quiet.
[00:40:36] Deliverance is for the people of God. Deliverance is for the church.
[00:40:40] I'm here to call this culture to Jesus Christ and cast out demons
[00:40:45] because these signs shall follow then that belief in my name they shall cast out devils.
[00:40:59] So wow so again this is all related. Sound of freedom is all about sex trafficking and the demonic
[00:41:06] at work harvesting children for the purposes of sex.
[00:41:12] Come out in Jesus name it's about the demonic and how it needs to be delivered and cast out
[00:41:18] and how we need to address it. Niferious it's about how the demonic can take that foothold
[00:41:25] and just completely overwhelm human beings.
[00:41:29] So this is linked together. It's like God had a plan right?
[00:41:34] And that's what Gifts of Warriors has been about using our gifts, our talents, our passions,
[00:41:38] our experiences, our knowledge, our woe, our just everything that God's given us and turning around
[00:41:44] giving him back to him is that God use it. This is what I want to do to serve you.
[00:41:48] I use humor. I use I've used podcasting. I've used speaking. I've used teaching improv.
[00:41:56] The people that were highlighting right now with these trailers they're using
[00:42:01] the medium of filmmaking which has been so pardon the word bastardized for the purposes
[00:42:12] of the satanic and the demonic and the evil and the antithesis of God's holiness.
[00:42:17] And we're starting to gain ground. It's not about cheesy movies with bad
[00:42:24] uh, filmography. These are high-pollity films that are killing it.
[00:42:31] So all these films I encourage you to check those out on niferious. You can buy your rent now.
[00:42:36] Go to whoisniferious.com. Sound of freedom. Freedom. Go to uh
[00:42:41] Operation Underground Railroads website and look for the link to Sound of Freedom or just search
[00:42:46] Sound of Freedom. It's still in theaters now. There are tickets available for free for those that
[00:42:52] are that have maybe been hit by this economy and this economy stinks. A box of family
[00:42:58] size cereal is eight bucks right now and my local jewel. So if you're a family and you're
[00:43:04] you're surviving on cereal because you got kids, this economy is horrid but there have been people
[00:43:10] who bought tickets for you to see Sound of Freedom and it will make you upset. It will take you off
[00:43:18] and you want to get involved. The 2024 election is right around the corner
[00:43:24] and it's not just present we're voting for. House of Representatives, your state representatives,
[00:43:30] your city mayors. Find out who will do what is necessary to stop, capture and eliminate sex trafficking.
[00:43:41] It's modern day slavery and there's nothing more Christlike that you can do than to free the
[00:43:47] captives to fight to free the captives. So that's my plan, that's my plug right now. Another film
[00:43:56] that just killed it in theaters this year is Jesus Revolution and linking it to the other three
[00:44:03] that I've just played. This film was about finding Jesus in unlikely places and allowing yourself
[00:44:10] to be inspired and changed by what Jesus wants to do through people that you may not like. You
[00:44:17] may not have any common anything in common with them, you may disagree with their techniques but
[00:44:23] the truth is this God wants used, Balam's donkey. So if God can speak through the mouth of a donkey
[00:44:33] and change history he can use anyone or anything and we need not limit God and put God in a box
[00:44:40] and know that God can use anybody and we just need to be ready to see what God's wanting to do.
[00:44:46] So if you haven't seen it yet please check out this trailer from Jesus Revolution.
[00:44:53] Hey square, I am not a square. I think we should invite Greg this weekend. What's the
[00:44:59] weekend? These people are kippy rebels against old fashioned authority. I think these kids need help.
[00:45:11] The need is a bad. You're passing judgment on people you know nothing about and maybe that's why
[00:45:15] your trip to So Empty. When God walks in here brings me a hippie I'll ask him what it's all about
[00:45:20] because I do not understand. This house has a very good vibe.
[00:45:29] There is an entire generation searching. Oh yeah they're spot on. Just in all the wrong places.
[00:45:37] If you want to reach my people you need to speak to them in a language they understand.
[00:45:41] If I bring them in I'm going to lose my job. We can only walk through doors open to us
[00:45:46] in your church and to door that shut.
[00:45:52] You've probably noticed we have some guests here today. I'd like you to meet my new friends. Welcome.
[00:45:59] They don't belong here. Half of the money weren't shoes. They're savings and you should
[00:46:05] corporate. They need our help. If you feel like you're misunderstood and judged you will find
[00:46:11] forgiveness and freedom right here. That was awesome. Now that door is open anytime in it.
[00:46:18] And if there are some who don't like that well then that door works both ways. All right pastor let's
[00:46:23] begin. I was almost on this at the end with nobody else for even terror.
[00:46:30] This thing that we found I feel like I belong. You're going to need a bigger church.
[00:46:39] Her country is a dark and divided place but now it's hope and it's spreading.
[00:46:44] This is your home and I want you to tell all your friends about it.
[00:46:57] Yeah that was a really good movie. It was a great story of finding Jesus in unlikely places
[00:47:07] and allowing Jesus to work through people that you would normally discount.
[00:47:13] By the way might have been considered the least of these hippies. People from this weird culture
[00:47:18] with their long hair and their weird clothes. God is not limited so why do we constantly
[00:47:25] within the body? I started to limit God on who and when he can work. Who he can use and when
[00:47:31] he can work. And I think Jesus' revolution teaches us that and it links together like I said God
[00:47:38] knows what he's doing. Everything is coming together we need solutions. We need to trust that God
[00:47:43] can work in places that are new to us but there's nothing new under the sun. God knows what he's
[00:47:49] doing. So Jesus revolution.com is the movie. Now one thing I didn't want to go back a couple years
[00:47:56] and this will lead into a little bit more about what Bobby and I will be doing starting this fall.
[00:48:04] But there's a film a documentary that came out two years ago. We interviewed Pastor
[00:48:10] Kerry Gordon who was the spearhead behind this film and they are in works of making a sequel
[00:48:18] because there's so much that they could put it into one documentary film but it's called
[00:48:24] Enemies Within the Church. It's talking about the people that are infiltrating the church,
[00:48:30] bringing in a strange fire going back to Old Testament references, bringing a strange fire
[00:48:36] to the altar and are really hindering the effectiveness and the growth of the kingdom of God.
[00:48:43] And there's so many of us that kind of like when this extravagant thing were too quiet
[00:48:50] but we need to face the fact that there are enemies within our church and I just want to plug this
[00:48:55] this film one more time. You go to enemies within the church.com to find out more but here's
[00:49:00] the trailer from the film we had Kerry Gordon on a couple years ago, Judd Saul who we had on
[00:49:06] a couple months ago who's working in Nigeria as a missionary. He was a part of this film as well.
[00:49:14] So check out enemies within the church and then once this is over I want to tell everybody
[00:49:20] a little bit about what Bobby and I are doing and that's why we're postponing or canceling
[00:49:26] the podcast altogether but here's enemies within the church. What happened to the church,
[00:49:33] to the living, powerful, transformative, nation-shaking Christianity?
[00:49:40] What they're trying to do is completely demolish Western civilization and then to rebuild it
[00:49:47] in a just society. How do you break down American Christianity?
[00:50:01] I think the problem today in our culture is many of our words have been co-opted in stolen
[00:50:06] and dumbed down and reversed. Social justice is sold as something that it isn't. Critical race theory
[00:50:14] is sold as something that it isn't. When you preach victimization, it always leads to vengeance
[00:50:26] and face us against them, me against you, I want my pungent flesh. American churches today are
[00:50:33] where the universities were 10 years ago. Pretty heavily Marxist they're not quite there yet but
[00:50:39] that well on the way. Many of the seminaries in Bible college is definitely 40 there.
[00:50:48] That message that they're going out and taking the world is not you need to repent of your sin,
[00:50:53] receive Christ instead. The message that you actually have is they are under the weight of racism
[00:51:00] or sexism or homophobia and then we need to unify them together. I'm gay, I'm 29, I'm a youth
[00:51:08] pastor in New Jersey. I'm straight and I'm also a youth pastor in New Jersey. We're planning
[00:51:13] ensuring life together for the rest of our lives which we're not totally sure what that looks like.
[00:51:18] Obviously they can stay and he does plan on getting married when he has a wife one day she'll
[00:51:23] make decisions with us. The future damage of what we're doing now is just going to be enormous.
[00:51:29] The entire fabric of family, personal wealth, private property, all those things around the
[00:51:35] and everything is the state. They believe the state is God. They don't define justice the same way
[00:51:41] as the script. Oh no, it's going to be an equality alright and it's going to be a totalitarian
[00:51:46] Marxist justice.
[00:51:48] So enemies within the church.com, the Bible says that the gates of hell would not prevail against
[00:52:08] the church but certain churches, individual congregations, individual bodies within the grand
[00:52:17] body. They will fall because they're allowing Satan the foothold. They're allowing the gospel to
[00:52:23] be corrupted. They're allowing the message of the cross to be again in the term it's a very
[00:52:29] strong term. I know that they're allowing it to be bastardized and when you allow that strange
[00:52:34] fire to come to the altar, God is not slow to correct it. He is patient to allow grace and
[00:52:45] opportunity to repent but when the judgment falls they will fall and it will fall hard.
[00:52:54] We as the body of Christ we have to secure ourselves to the Word and we need to follow the word
[00:53:01] and follow God and follow his Holy Spirit and not the spirit of the age, not the spirit of our
[00:53:06] nation but the spirit of the kingdom. And we need to cleanse the house. Clans the house have zeal
[00:53:15] for God's house and cleanse it of the enemies within the church. If you want to see more
[00:53:21] you can buy the movie at enemieswithinthechurch.com. Like I said a lot of great
[00:53:28] productions and projects have come out the last few years that honor and glorify God. And we
[00:53:36] have to get on board and support all these projects to show Hollywood that hey there is a market
[00:53:43] so you can get some of the money, some of our money but also the better they get the more
[00:53:48] they're available, the more popular they are, the more people who don't know the message will hear it.
[00:53:55] So get behind the great projects that honor and glorify God, sound of freedom, nefarious.
[00:54:02] Come out in Jesus name, Jesus revolution and the one who just showed you enemies within the church.
[00:54:07] So as I wrap up the final episode of Gifts of Warry I want to tell you a little bit about what Bob
[00:54:13] and I are going to do coming up starting this fall for those that don't know. A lot of people
[00:54:21] close to us are family and friends and church family know a lot about it. As I mentioned before
[00:54:27] on many episodes for the last four and a half years I've worked as a volunteer for Salt and Light
[00:54:32] Coalition which is a group that works with women who have survived sex trafficking. Some of those
[00:54:38] women were bought and sold as young as eight, nine years old by family, family who needed their
[00:54:47] next fix or maybe had waste all their money gambling and needed to pay rent for a variety of reasons.
[00:54:56] Some of these women were sold in a trafficking by a boyfriend and said, hey honey I'm
[00:55:01] we're going to lose our house. Once you go do this it makes the money for us and then do it again
[00:55:08] makes the money for us and then eventually they're stuck. So sex trafficking is real
[00:55:15] and these are real human beings these are real image bears of God. We as humans are made in God's
[00:55:25] image so for the last four and a half years I've gone and taught improv to other different cohorts
[00:55:31] as they come through and it's not to prepare them to be on stage, it's not a performance-based
[00:55:37] class. What this is it's a workshop to help develop communication skills, to develop creativity,
[00:55:44] to happen to the creative cortex that childlike creativity that was nearly snuffed out due to
[00:55:51] the hell on earth that they went through. It's to develop their ability to speak for themselves
[00:55:57] so find their own voice. Also frankly it's just it's an hour or a month that they get to laugh like
[00:56:05] they have no cares in the world and the unspoken one that was unspoken when I first started
[00:56:11] and the one that I totally will never take for granted is these ladies who have been through hell
[00:56:19] on earth because of men have a positive healthy interaction relationship with a man who comes in
[00:56:29] and I just love them, encourage them, teach them improv, let them laugh let them have a great time.
[00:56:36] So I've been doing that once a month for the last four years so when I got laid off in October of
[00:56:43] 2022 the day I was getting laid off I was teaching a workshop there for public speaking
[00:56:49] and in that class and that public speaking class we felt God move and we saw chains broken
[00:56:57] and we saw two of the ladies in that class who had never publicly shared their story
[00:57:02] they felt the freedom to share their story for the first time ever in that workshop.
[00:57:08] And at first it was like okay I'm getting laid off I'm losing my job God's giving me a pat on
[00:57:12] the back and saying I've got you. Well that was part of it but through prayer through talking with
[00:57:18] our pastor realized that that was God saying it was time for me to get myself into full-time ministry
[00:57:26] using my gifts talents and passions my experiences to help up more people that have survived
[00:57:32] great trauma like trafficking and neglect and abuse. So starting this fall my wife and I will be
[00:57:40] improv missionaries we'll be using improv to reach men women and children who've survived
[00:57:49] intense unimaginable trauma and hell on earth. I can't overstate that it was hell on earth
[00:57:58] they survived and I am going to be blessed to be part of aftercare for many victims and survivors
[00:58:05] of trafficking and abuse and neglect. And my wife and I we've set up a Facebook page we're getting ready
[00:58:11] to launch we're going to start our official fundraising in September and as soon as that
[00:58:18] as soon as we have enough race to the assemblies of God which is who will be our oversight.
[00:58:24] So this isn't just Bobby and I running out doing our own thing we're actually
[00:58:28] for oversight, for accountability and also for confidence for those that want to support us but
[00:58:35] want to make sure that their dollars will be used correctly. We're going through the assemblies of God
[00:58:41] which is where I am a licensed minister through the assemblies Bobby is a credentialed minister
[00:58:48] through the assemblies and as we enter this new season starting September will be missionaries
[00:58:55] our first task is to raise our budgets that we have money for travel we'll have money to live on
[00:59:01] because the organizations that I want to work with they don't have a budget to bring in an improv
[00:59:05] coach they don't have the budget to fly me out they don't have the budget to pay me enough for
[00:59:10] a state pay our rent and to have a home. So that's why we're counting on the body of Christ to support
[00:59:16] what we're going to do and so that's why we've got the Facebook page up it's available now you
[00:59:21] like it you follow it and we'll post updates as we get closer to the time of our official launch
[00:59:26] we'll be creating a newsletter saying keep in touch office social media so you don't have to worry
[00:59:31] about logging into Facebook or worrying about the Facebook algorithms filtering out our results
[00:59:38] but Bobby and I are going to use improv as a way to minister to many many people part of our fun
[00:59:45] raising is going to also be doing improv shows and improv workshops at churches to equip more leaders
[00:59:50] within the body of Christ to use improv to help people overcome trauma whether it's abuse from
[00:59:57] apparent or sexual abuse or it's trafficking so that's our heart that's our mission to use
[01:00:06] the gift of laughter the gift of creativity to help these survivors rediscover their voice
[01:00:16] to find their voice maybe for the first time to find the ability to laugh in the face of
[01:00:23] the horrible trauma and memories to laugh at the devil said,
[01:00:26] W can't get me God's got me and find that strength to laugh so that's what we're going to do
[01:00:34] that's part of the reason that the podcast is going on at least a hiatus if not done for good
[01:00:41] but for those of you that are tuning in late or have a second round for the whole time
[01:00:47] I really appreciate you watching and being a part of the district board family
[01:00:51] please keep in touch also please if you're watching like our page it's up now it's available
[01:00:59] not much on it because we're still getting we're still in the beginning with phases of launching
[01:01:04] but if you're somebody that supported us through the Gist of Warp podcast we'd love for you
[01:01:10] to come like share and follow us on our new Facebook page at improv missionaries it'll be at improv
[01:01:21] missionaries we're gonna go out we're gonna spread the gospel through improv and there's a lot
[01:01:27] of things that still need to be finalized and then care of and a Facebook page will be one
[01:01:33] way to keep in touch one way to find out how you can support how you can pray and eventually
[01:01:39] one way that'll be where we'll tell you how you can get involved because there are just in Chicago
[01:01:45] alone over 25,000 people 25,000 people in Chicago who are being traffic as we speak right now
[01:01:56] in that's just Chicago figure more than double that in New York more than triple that in LA
[01:02:03] Sioux Falls South Dakota Sioux Falls South Dakota middle America they have an organization that
[01:02:09] I'm gonna be that I want to work with that works with survivors of sex trafficking this is Sioux Falls
[01:02:14] this isn't a big city this is in the major metropolis Sioux Falls is a decent sized city but
[01:02:19] they have women who've survived trafficking there as well like I said trafficking is a growing
[01:02:30] industry and America is the biggest consumer of sex crimes sex trafficking pornography
[01:02:38] child porn we buy it all America buys it all and in some small way as improv missionaries we want
[01:02:46] to go and help see healing happen for these survivors who've been through hell on earth
[01:02:54] so if you want to come alongside us like our Facebook page reach out to me directly if you have
[01:02:59] any questions maybe you're somebody that hosts a podcast or you had your media and you have a
[01:03:04] talk show or something like that and you'd like to have me come on and do an appearance I would
[01:03:08] love to share what we're doing with improv missionaries and and to share a story so as a wrap up
[01:03:17] thank you so much for being a part of gift of glory thank you so much for liking and following our
[01:03:23] new page at improv missionaries there'll be a website to come there'll be a newsletter to come
[01:03:29] and also we'll share with you how to support our mission because like I said the organizations
[01:03:36] and the people we want to serve they don't have a budget to fly us out so we want to go and serve
[01:03:43] and just count on the body of price to rally around us to help raise our funds allow us to have a
[01:03:49] home so that we have some place to come home to someplace to rest relax take off that mantle
[01:03:56] of the evil that we're encountering as we do this ministry you know the survivors are not
[01:04:01] even themselves but we will hear about the evil we will see the scars of the evil and that's a
[01:04:07] mantle that you have to shed when you come home because the enemy will use that to attack and limit us
[01:04:15] the spiritual war is real nefarious is not just some queuing on the conspiracy theory
[01:04:22] it's a real look at what the enemy is trying to come to do the believers and non-believers of light
[01:04:30] there is a spiritual battle happening there's spiritual war and if you don't believe
[01:04:34] they're wearing a spiritual war you're losing trust me you are losing if you doubt that there's a
[01:04:42] spiritual war happening so with that I'm going in I hope that kind of ending uh gifts of worry
[01:04:50] a podcast on a low note but but let me end on a high note no matter how dark it gets no matter
[01:04:56] how much evil is afoot no matter how many demonic voices and oppressions are happening
[01:05:03] there is a god he is in control and he sent a savior Jesus Christ to save us from all of this
[01:05:12] we only need to reach out and receive him as we talked about in the devotional day that the top
[01:05:17] of the uh the the show we defeated him the enemy by the blood of the lamb
[01:05:25] and by our testimony so if Jesus has changed your life have he saved you for eternity
[01:05:33] tell somebody inspire them encourage them that's what this podcast has been about for the last
[01:05:40] four years and maybe we'll pick it up later but for now this will be our last episode uh
[01:05:47] hope that you will support the different movies we highlighted tonight and I hope that you will
[01:05:51] follow us on our new Facebook page as Bob and I go out into the mission field uh as uh
[01:05:58] as assemblies of god us missionaries starting this fall uh facebook.com slash improv missionaries
[01:06:05] facebook.com slash improv missionaries that'll be our main hub for communication about what we're doing
[01:06:12] and uh from there we'll have uh eventually a website and a newsletter but please like and follow
[01:06:17] us and uh we'd love uh let me to come alongside of us more details on that to come as we
[01:06:23] equiture to the fall so from my wife Bobby who's uh been the quiet supporter in the background
[01:06:28] and one time guest uh guest or worry uh for all the amazing people that we've had on uh that has
[01:06:34] been a part of this community for so long uh it's been a a a blessing it's been a privilege
[01:06:41] it's been an honor to share these stories uh it's been a blessing to hear these stories and to see
[01:06:47] just how many ways god works and uh I just think every single guest has been a part of it
[01:06:53] I think everybody that's watched everybody that's listened uh thank you to uh to the colliers who
[01:07:00] had the creative motion network up for so long to allow us a platform to share our video um and uh
[01:07:07] thank you again to Felicity Joy for being a patron uh supporter for so many years
[01:07:12] also wrapping up thank you all so much and uh I pray that you will let god use the gifts that he's
[01:07:21] giving you his gifts to you are are so much more powerful when he give them right back to him
[01:07:29] no matter what your gift is if it's filmmaking if it's acting if it's speaking if it's writing
[01:07:34] if it's poetry if it's spoken word if it's writing songs if it's singing songs if it's playing an
[01:07:38] instrument if it's listening if it's knowing when somebody needs a hug if it's knowing when somebody
[01:07:50] needs a hand whatever your gifts are use them give them back to god and he will multiply them beyond
[01:07:57] you could ever imagine I'm a former suicidal depressed wrestler turn improv comedian turn minister turn
[01:08:07] missionary so to quote uh the famous saying won't he do it won't he do it so let god do it in you
[01:08:19] and through you and be blessed by it so thank you so much have a great rest of your day your night
[01:08:25] your evening whenever you're listening or watching and please if anything we've done has been a
[01:08:30] positive impact for you let me know email me david at gifsportworry.com david at gifsportworry.com
