Do you ever think to yourself:
"I have no time to give!"
I understand. Many of us like the idea of giving but only some of us actually make and follow through with the decision to give our time. Please understand, that I am not saying this to make anyone feel guilty about not giving. I can look back over many decades of my life where I liked the idea of giving but never followed through.
The truth is that giving your time, more specifically, deciding to give your time and following through delights God as we walk with Him. God does not need any of us for anything and we all have free will, so when we decide to offer ourselves as a vessel to God, He is truly delighted with us. Not only does giving of our time honor God, but it also allows us to demonstrate our faith to others. By the way, giving to others not only benefits someone else but it can also fill our hearts with joy in the process.
