[00:00:11] while and I just want to thank you for tuning back in.
[00:00:14] I am still here by the grace of God and so I was blessed to go out of the country for
[00:00:20] a week to London had a lovely time but either way I know we miss some episodes but I'm back
[00:00:25] and I want to share with you today three ways that the Lord delights in you and so this
[00:00:32] is going to be really really good so definitely tune in and share it with others invite them
[00:00:38] to listen.
[00:00:39] Alright, so three ways that the Lord delights in you this is a simple but powerful message
[00:00:44] because I want you to understand that God delights in you his heart is for you okay
[00:00:51] and so the first way starting off strong that the Lord delights in you is that he calls
[00:00:57] you by his name.
[00:01:00] That is God's delight that he calls you by his name and I've been looking at this
[00:01:04] verse in Isaiah chapter 62 which is a very powerful verse and we're going to look at
[00:01:08] Isaiah chapter 62 verses three and four and it says you shall also be a crown of glory
[00:01:16] and the hand of the Lord and a royal diadem and the hand of your God you shall no longer
[00:01:22] be termed forsaken for your nor shall your land any more be termed desolate but you shall
[00:01:28] be called hevsaba and your landbula for the Lord delights in you and your land shall
[00:01:34] be married okay and so I want to just read this one more time and I know I'm saying
[00:01:38] diadem wrong but I'm going to read this again Isaiah 62 verse three it says you shall also
[00:01:43] be a crown of glory and the hand of the Lord and a royal diadem and the hand of your
[00:01:49] God you shall no longer be termed forsaken nor shall your land any more be termed desolate
[00:01:55] but you shall be called hevsaba and your landbula for the Lord delights in you and your land
[00:02:00] shall be married.
[00:02:02] This is so powerful to me because hevsaba means the Lord delights in you and it really
[00:02:08] refers to his delight is in her and so hevsaba was actually the name of Hezekiah's wife
[00:02:15] and she was his queen and so this is a term really of endearment as to a bride and so when
[00:02:22] the Lord delights in you he makes you a royal diadem he crowns you with his glory and it's
[00:02:29] just a beautiful place to be and so you have to understand that when the Lord delights
[00:02:34] in you he calls you by his name he puts you on display he puts his glory in and upon
[00:02:40] you and you are like a crown to the Lord your crown of glory that he shows almost as
[00:02:47] like a trophy right and so you're in his hands and so when God delights in you not only
[00:02:53] does he has you as a crown of glory but it says in the hand of the Lord and so when the
[00:03:00] Lord delights in you you have to know that God's hand is upon you that he is with you
[00:03:06] and so I want you to just follow up and read that some more Isaiah 62 such a beautiful
[00:03:10] passage about the Lord calling us by name and knowing us and truly truly delighting in
[00:03:16] us.
[00:03:18] And the second way that God delights in us is one of my favorite ways I know there's
[00:03:23] so many ways that the Lord delights in us but the Lord delights in us through deliverance
[00:03:29] and I want to speak to this for a little bit because wherever you are in your life and
[00:03:34] your walk with God there is very few things more beautiful than the Lord and his deliverance
[00:03:43] okay and I'm going to explain this a little bit further but sometimes we see deliverance
[00:03:47] or all these things as dreadful or God is telling me what to do but the reality is God
[00:03:53] delights in us so much that he wants us to be delivered he wants us to be set free because
[00:03:59] he came that we would be free okay and so that's where we have to look at this verse in Psalm
[00:04:06] 18 beautiful beautiful scripture so powerful I'm going to start with verse 16 so Psalm 18 verse
[00:04:13] 16 it says he sent from above he took me he drew me out of many waters he delivered me from
[00:04:22] my strong enemy from those who hated me for they were too strong for me they confronted
[00:04:28] me in the day of my calamity but the Lord was my support hallelujah verse 19 says he also
[00:04:35] brought me out into a broad place he delivered me because he delighted in me and so when
[00:04:43] the Lord delights in you not only will he deliver you from your strong enemy but he will
[00:04:49] also bring you into a broad place and so when I look at this I think about a broad place meaning
[00:04:55] that you're not confined like God will enlarge your territory he will expand you and so deliverance
[00:05:02] can look like so many things sometimes the Lord will deliver you from the wrong people people
[00:05:09] that were not meant to be in the season of your life people that that are against you or you may
[00:05:15] not even be aware of that and so what David is saying in this passage even in verse 17 he says he
[00:05:21] delivered me from my strong enemy from those who hated me for they were too strong for me then
[00:05:28] verse 18 he says they confronted they confronted me in the day of my calamity but the Lord was my
[00:05:35] support and verse 19 if you're highlighting this I would definitely recommend highlighting this
[00:05:42] verse is so good he also brought me out into a broad place he delivered me because he delighted in
[00:05:49] mean and so when God delights in us he delivers us he delivers us out of impossible situations he
[00:05:57] delivers us from stronghold and deliverance can take place in so many different ways deliverance
[00:06:03] can take place in your mind where God delivers you or pulls you out of a barren place right and then
[00:06:11] also God can deliver you from being in the wrong place at the wrong time or just all these different
[00:06:17] ways that the Lord delivers us but I want you to understand that the very heart of God in the heart
[00:06:24] of deliverance is delight God delights in us so much that he does not want us to be in bondage and
[00:06:32] so whatever the Lord is requiring you to give up whatever the Lord is requiring you to let go up
[00:06:37] whatever place the Lord is bringing you out of just understand that it's from a place of delight
[00:06:44] it's from a place of love it's from a place that God loves us so much that he calls us unto himself
[00:06:51] and he loves us so much that he requires that we have no other gods before him no other idols
[00:06:59] and all of that is out of a place of love because God loves us too much for him to share us with
[00:07:07] other idols that we have created in our hearts and so the basis of it all is love amen
[00:07:14] hallelujah the basis of everything that the Lord has done and continues to do is love because
[00:07:21] God is love and so we have to fully fully fully understand that if there's areas of your life where
[00:07:27] you are still believing God for deliverance I want you to hold onto that scripture and know that it's
[00:07:33] God's heart for you to be delivered and so don't give up don't quit go through the process
[00:07:39] continue praying seeking the Lord and the Lord desires to deliver you so understand that's part of
[00:07:46] God's delight and the third way God delights in us is that he will order our steps he will also give
[00:07:54] us the desires of our heart and so as we first make him our delight and then in return his delight
[00:08:02] in us is that he will order our steps and so I want to share with you Psalm 37 verse 23 it says
[00:08:10] the steps of a good man are ordered by the Lord and he delights in his way so when you are
[00:08:18] walking in the steps that the Lord has ordered for you he delights in your way he delights in you
[00:08:25] walking after him okay and then Psalm 37 verse 4 also says delight yourself also in the Lord
[00:08:32] and he shall give you the desires of your heart and so as you delight yourself in the Lord
[00:08:38] he will give you the desires of your heart the more you walk with God the more you seek his face
[00:08:44] he will begin to change your hearts desires until they line up with his and so when you go after
[00:08:52] God's heart and you really pursuing him you'll start to notice your desires and things changing
[00:08:58] because God can give you a new appetite and God can give you the desire to do His will and to want
[00:09:05] His will for your life and so that's always my prayer and and prayerfully that's your prayer as
[00:09:10] well that the Lord will give us the desires of our heart but that the desires of our heart would
[00:09:16] be actually the desires of his heart amen. The Lord delights in us by calling us by name
[00:09:22] he also delights in us through deliverance he delivered me because he delights in me and then
[00:09:30] he delights in us by giving us the desires of our heart of course we always want to make sure that
[00:09:35] the desires of our heart are in alignment with the desires of God's heart because God is truly
[00:09:42] the reward and Jesus is everything and so I want you just to understand today and just to take a
[00:09:48] moment and pause and really embrace the fact that the Lord delights in you and really focusing on
[00:09:55] loving the Lord with all your heart with all your soul with all your mind with all your strength
[00:10:00] and saying God in your delight deliver me God in your delight order my steps God in your delight
[00:10:08] call me by your name and so that's what we can stand on the word of God and trust in the Lord
[00:10:14] and know who we are in him. So I want to say a prayer for you God I thank you that you
[00:10:21] delight in us I thank you God for deliverance I thank you God that whom the Sun sets free is
[00:10:26] free indeed I thank you God that you are so near Lord and I pray that you will just continue
[00:10:33] to order each and every one of our steps God we lay aside every idol we lay aside our own will
[00:10:39] our own agenda and Lord we seek your face we seek you and we search for you with all our heart
[00:10:45] with all our soul with all our mind with all our strength and God I pray that we will receive
[00:10:51] your love we will receive your delight oh God even when you said that perfect love cast out fear
[00:10:58] and so God we have to receive your love and so I just thank you for your love I thank you for
[00:11:04] your goodness I thank you for your grace and your mercy I pray oh God for every person listening
[00:11:10] that Lord they will take delight in knowing that you delight in us and so God we give you glory
[00:11:17] we give you honor we give you praise in Jesus name we pray amen amen amen listen if you are listening

[00:12:04] delivering me hold my hand go before me be my Lord and my Savior in Jesus name and and Lord I
[00:12:11] just believe that you died on the cross from my sins and you rose on the third day and you
[00:12:17] were seated at the right hand of God coming to my heart I pray in Jesus name amen amen amen and so
[00:12:25] if you feel the Lord working and tugging at your heart this is a wonderful time to walk after God
[00:12:31] to give your life to the Lord to truly pursue the Lord with all your heart and soul and mind and
[00:12:37] strength and to stand on Isaiah 55 verse 6 it says seek the Lord while he may be found call upon him
[00:12:44] while he is near and so we are living in an hour where you have to know where you stand with the
[00:12:50] Lord and you really have to put all your trust in your hope in him so I want to thank you so much
