[00:00:43] Been trying to go to sleep, but I can't because one something I need to do

[00:00:53] I'm gonna do it on my power of prayer podcast
[00:00:58] And I have this little book called a little God time for mothers. I
[00:01:04] am a mother and four boys remember this
[00:01:10] Day today, I believe is the 6th of
[00:01:15] June and
[00:01:17] The title of this is called transparency
[00:01:22] I'm gonna just read it okay
[00:01:25] It is okay to cry over spilled
[00:01:29] It really is we all have hard days
[00:01:33] Days when we wake up late, we lose the keys. We can't find matching sides and then the milk spills
[00:01:41] We have those days
[00:01:42] Well, we just want to throw in the towel and call it quits as moms
[00:01:47] As even just regular everyday people right?
[00:01:52] We think we have to have it all together all the time. We don't though
[00:01:58] It is okay to be
[00:02:00] Transparent with each other by doing so we allow others to love us
[00:02:05] Encourage us and pray for us sharing our struggles not only lessens our burdens
[00:02:13] But reinforces the fact that we are not alone. It also gives permission
[00:02:19] For our fellow moms to be transparent as well
[00:02:23] Do you feel you need to be perfect? You don't be
[00:02:29] Transparent with a friend today every the benefits of sharing your struggles
[00:02:36] This is the in a V version. I don't normally
[00:02:41] Read that version per se on every day basis, but it's out there people do read it pick it up here and there
[00:02:50] I'm just gonna read what it says
[00:02:52] It's probably 27 and 9
[00:02:55] Perfume and incense bring joy to the heart and the pleasantness of a friend
[00:03:01] springs from
[00:03:02] Their heart felt advice
[00:03:04] Now although I understand it that says you don't have to be perfect in the reading
[00:03:12] But we do strive for perfection. I must clarify that we do strive for perfection
[00:03:18] And when we're in Jesus as long as we're doing what we're supposed to do even if we fall
[00:03:26] We get up we repent we confess and
[00:03:33] God is faithful and just to forgive us of all
[00:03:37] unrighteousness which therefore then again
[00:03:41] Or not then again, which therefore
[00:03:44] once again
[00:03:46] makes us back as
[00:03:49] Joint ears with Christ and Christ is
[00:03:53] Perfect correct
[00:03:55] So when we're joint ears that makes us back into the perfect will of God and we're doing what God
[00:04:03] Wants us to do the way that he wants us to do it
[00:04:07] Now when we fall out of the perfect or the divine will of God
[00:04:12] Then we must repent and get up quickly
[00:04:16] Not stay there not lay there not wallow in it now go back to your own vomit like a dog
[00:04:23] Go back to that sin that you love so much and you want to do all the time
[00:04:29] And you feel like oh, it's okay cuz God knows my heart. Yes. He does know our hearts
[00:04:34] He knows our intentions. So we have to be careful when we say God knows our hearts, right?
[00:04:41] We can't just oh
[00:04:43] I could do this and I could do that and I'm okay
[00:04:48] No, that's not how it work. You got to get in the word of God
[00:04:53] In fact that scripture
[00:04:57] That
[00:04:59] Was there
[00:05:01] I'm gonna read in the new King James versions
[00:05:05] Proverbs 27 and 9
[00:05:08] Before I go to where I was going to go because I don't want
[00:05:15] people
[00:05:17] Bugging and tripping and going into what they think they should go into
[00:05:24] Proverbs
[00:05:36] Locating it in my Bible
[00:05:38] It's supposed to be pretty nice today
[00:05:50] Right there 27 and 9
[00:05:53] Ointment and perfume delight the heart now. This is the new King James version. This is
[00:06:00] One of the closer versions of the King James version of the Bible
[00:06:05] okay, ointment and perfume delight the heart and
[00:06:09] the
[00:06:11] And the sweetness of a man's friend gives the light by hearty
[00:06:19] Council, but we also have to be careful
[00:06:27] according to Proverbs
[00:06:29] and that Proverbs Psalms
[00:06:32] One-in-one
[00:06:35] Blessed is the man who walks not in the council of the ungodly
[00:06:39] Nor stands in the past of sinners nor sits in the seat of the squirrel
[00:06:45] So we got to make sure the council that that person is giving us his godly counsel
[00:06:51] not
[00:06:52] Just doing anything and everything the way that we feel in the way that we want
[00:06:57] Okay, we got to go by the word of God. We got a dig deep into the word of God. We have to
[00:07:03] pray as
[00:07:05] We're supposed to without ceasing. We have to pray often
[00:07:10] As often as you can and don't mean
[00:07:17] Do nothing else. Don't eat. Don't sleep
[00:07:20] You know and just pray
[00:07:23] We're not God only God is the one who never sleeps nor slumpers
[00:07:34] to
[00:07:38] Second Chronicles
[00:07:44] And I'm going to read
[00:07:53] 14 through 18
[00:07:55] If my people in the new King James version
[00:08:00] If my people who are called by my name will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways
[00:08:08] Then I will hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and heal their land
[00:08:13] Now my eyes will be open and
[00:08:16] My this verse 15 and my ears are tipped to prayer made in this place
[00:08:23] Just closet your car your room
[00:08:28] Work while you're listening to my podcast, you know, you could be praying

[00:08:38] Just make sure we stay focused on Jesus
[00:08:43] Because if we let the mind of Christ be in us

[00:09:02] We have to do these things according to the word of God I
[00:09:07] Could tell you this dumb doing a face, but it's up to you to read it for yourself. Please read it for yourself

[00:09:21] Through his son Jesus Christ
[00:09:23] Who sent back the Comforter
[00:09:26] So that we can be led and guided unto all truth the Comforter is the Holy Spirit. It's God

[00:09:42] Living inside of us
[00:09:44] Helping us each and every day the Godhead the wisdom
[00:09:51] The love the peace the joy
[00:09:54] The tender mercies that are new every morning we can accept those two numbers

[00:10:03] He will listen to that prayer

[00:10:16] Whatever place you're in
[00:10:20] Physically and spiritually
[00:10:22] You'll be right there, but we got to do what says the 14 first

[00:10:35] I have chosen and sanctified this house that my name may be there forever and my eyes and my heart will be there

[00:10:45] For you if you walk before me as your father David walked
[00:10:51] so he's talking Solomon and
[00:10:56] Do according to all that I have commanded you and if you keep my statutes and my judgments
[00:11:05] Then I will establish
[00:11:07] The throne of your kingdom as I
[00:11:10] Covenant with David your father saying you shall
[00:11:15] Not fail to have a man as ruler to Israel
[00:11:22] May the Lord have blessed to bring the hearing the doers of

[00:11:31] I'm grateful for these scriptures because
[00:11:35] They teach me and they can teach you
[00:11:40] What God wants from us
[00:11:42] He don't just want any kind of
[00:11:45] Anything just throw a prayer together just throw something together and you know like you go for that
[00:11:51] Great job interview that you want. We're gonna just put on some green and purple
[00:11:57] And go to the interview and thinking you look all right and you good
[00:12:04] You're going to do your best especially if you really need a job and you want that job
[00:12:11] You're gonna
[00:12:12] Take a shower you don't prep for it. You're gonna take a shower
[00:12:16] You won't put on your best perfume cologne best
[00:12:21] undergourmance
[00:12:23] But apply your makeup the best way you can if you're a woman put on your
[00:12:30] Make sure you're shaved well your hair is together
[00:12:34] Everything and then make sure you are late before you get on your stuff and make sure that's late
[00:12:40] You're gonna make sure everything's iron
[00:12:44] No wrinkles as much as humanly possible
[00:12:49] That and then that you smell good look good feel good
[00:12:53] And you're gonna prep for that interview you gonna find out what's going on with that company at that current
[00:13:03] quarter
[00:13:04] You understand
[00:13:06] financially
[00:13:07] Physically what they're looking for what what they've been going through and
[00:13:12] Why they're weeding out whatever they would need to weed out
[00:13:16] You know I'm saying so you can be prepared and then you can even ask
[00:13:19] Write down three or four questions that you could ask to interviewer because they usually ask you you have any questions for me
[00:13:25] And then you can ask them
[00:13:28] Yeah, I got to do
[00:13:31] Okay, and then you take notes as they answering your questions
[00:13:36] Okay, okay
[00:13:39] You understand now
[00:13:47] I'm gonna read verse
[00:13:50] 14 of second Chronicles chapter 7 again if my people who are called by my name
[00:13:56] Will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways
[00:14:03] Then I will hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and heal their land
[00:14:09] I'm gonna read that one more time as we like to say for the people in the back
[00:14:14] For the people all the way in the bag that might even be sleep
[00:14:19] If my people who are called by my name will humble themselves and

[00:14:42] My pastor was talking about some stuff in
[00:14:47] Bible class
[00:14:49] yesterday evening and
[00:14:53] Some of it didn't really you know
[00:14:57] Hit me like a ton of bricks and
[00:15:00] Then there was this little nuance since that hit me and broke me and made me say father God
[00:15:07] I need to repent. I had to get some stuff in my room where I'm living at right now in order
[00:15:16] In order for me to get ready to lay down and go to sleep, but then I still
[00:15:25] Couldn't find myself going to sleep just yet
[00:15:30] Because I'm like I
[00:15:34] Got to repent
[00:15:37] And I got to pray so I'm doing all this stuff and I'm saying to myself Lord help me help me father God
[00:15:44] Help me Jesus. Help me help me help you
[00:15:47] Right
[00:15:49] But then I realized I
[00:15:52] Haven't really prayed pray
[00:15:54] Yeah, see your Lord father God helped me but I'm asking him to help me with you know
[00:15:58] Putting this stuff together or whatever, but then I said no I need to put some of that stuff
[00:16:03] It's organized to a point where it might take me 30 minutes to finish it off in the morning
[00:16:11] but
[00:16:13] On the same token
[00:16:16] I had to realize that stuff
[00:16:19] Wasn't as important as getting my soul right
[00:16:23] My mind right my spirit man right so that's what
[00:16:29] I'm doing right now, and that's why I said it was kind of funny that that book
[00:16:36] You know that I gifted myself with
[00:16:39] What's how about transparency? Well, I'm very transparent. I don't try to sugarcoat nothing
[00:16:45] if I've done something wrong I repent if if
[00:16:50] I
[00:16:51] Read the word I try to tell you which version or what what I'm reading and I try to give it to you the way God
[00:16:56] Is giving it to me?
[00:16:58] Okay, and
[00:17:00] then I
[00:17:02] Go into a prayer or whatever, but this prayer
[00:17:05] It's just basically asking God to help me
[00:17:12] To be more like him
[00:17:14] To do it his way not my way because my way has failed me every
[00:17:21] Single time it looked like it's okay. Look like it's going good
[00:17:26] Maybe for a couple days for a couple weeks couple months couple years
[00:17:32] Did I realize oh wait a minute? I'm back in the same place. I was
[00:17:37] It don't seem like nothing's changed
[00:17:39] But I know that I've matured and I've gotten better in some things, but I need to ask God to help me get better in all things
[00:17:51] So on this podcast, I don't want you all to think that I want y'all to
[00:17:57] Listen to me and only me know you're supposed to have a pastor
[00:18:02] That's after God's own heart. That's preaching and teaching the truth
[00:18:07] If they not doing it he she them
[00:18:12] You need to pray and ask God to send you to a church that is preaching and teaching the truth
[00:18:19] And the meanwhile you're gonna have to stay there and be faithful until God say okay
[00:18:26] Stop go over here. That's gonna be your new church and
[00:18:33] Listen and let God lead you and guide you
[00:18:37] Don't be listening to every window doctrine every
[00:18:41] Thing that you think is sound good make you feel good. No, that's not the word of God
[00:18:48] That's not the truth
[00:18:50] The truth is
[00:18:52] We all have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God and when we fall
[00:19:00] We're supposed to repent and get up
[00:19:04] We may fall seven times in a day, but each time we fall we got to get up quickly
[00:19:13] Some of us may fall more than that
[00:19:17] But we still got to get up and repent quickly
[00:19:21] Without further ado father God
[00:19:25] I come boldly to your throne
[00:19:28] as I like to say truth grace and mercy and
[00:19:35] judgments
[00:19:37] Father God here I am
[00:19:42] seeking after your face
[00:19:45] wanting you
[00:19:47] To help me at 333 in the morning
[00:19:54] Over here in Rochester, New York, I need you father God
[00:20:03] I ask that you help me
[00:20:05] You lead me you guide me
[00:20:07] You show me what I must do to be saved and each and every time that I ask you these things you do it
[00:20:15] So father God I repent
[00:20:17] for not
[00:20:19] being ready on time all the time
[00:20:23] for
[00:20:25] holding up
[00:20:26] The progress in the process of my church and its blessings
[00:20:32] That you have designed for them to have I
[00:20:35] Repent father and I ask that you help me to get it right
[00:20:42] To not be slack to not
[00:20:45] Be slow full to stop procrastinating to have better time management. I repent father God for not doing these things I
[00:20:57] Repent father God for not doing things the way you want me to do because you are a god that
[00:21:04] Has designed everything and you're looking for
[00:21:09] People to praise you and to worship you in spirit and in truth
[00:21:15] And I believe I failed
[00:21:18] So I repents
[00:21:21] And I ask that you help me to tighten up my schedule to tighten up
[00:21:27] Everything father God
[00:21:29] Help me to do things your way
[00:21:31] I
[00:21:33] Mean to pray more to fast more to read and study your word more father
[00:21:38] God to live so that you can use me so that you can bless me the way you want to bless me
[00:21:45] I repent in the mighty matchless name of Jesus Christ

[00:21:52] You care about Shia
[00:21:55] Lord I just want to be clean
[00:21:57] I want to be washed and made white as snow
[00:22:02] So that if you should happen to crack the sky at this very moment
[00:22:07] You will see your son in
[00:22:10] Me and when your son calls for your people I
[00:22:18] Will hear
[00:22:20] Come my people will call about my name
[00:22:26] Help me father God to turn from all of my wicked ways to seek your face
[00:22:34] To do it the way you say to do it so that when you hear from heaven
[00:22:40] You will hear this prayer and say okay. She got it right this time. I'm gonna answer that prayer
[00:22:50] Okay, she doing better this time. I'm gonna help her
[00:22:55] She doing the best that she can this time I'm gonna do something special for

[00:24:21] About my life around my life in and out of my life about this body that I've been using that you've been allowing me to use
[00:24:29] Help me father God. I need you to help me
[00:24:35] To get it right and father God. I've been not
[00:24:40] Eating the way that I should be eating father. I have not been
[00:24:46] Losing the weight the way that I was supposed to lose weight. In fact, I even gained some weight father God
[00:24:53] And that is not what has supposed to been happening father God
[00:24:59] I don't know if I said that right but God I repent
[00:25:02] That's not what's supposed to be happening in my life. I know I'm supposed to be down
[00:25:09] by
[00:25:11] I must say September
[00:25:14] By the end of September by September 30th, I
[00:25:19] Have gained I believe 13 pounds on that 218 pounds now and yes, I'm being very transparent
[00:25:26] very
[00:25:29] Forthcoming I need father God to go from 218
[00:25:35] to 175
[00:25:40] That's 43 pounds father God. I believe you can help me do it between now
[00:25:48] June 6th at 3 39 a.m. Up until
[00:25:55] 1159
[00:25:58] September 30th, I
[00:26:01] Believe you God without a shadow of a doubt. I
[00:26:06] Trust you
[00:26:08] That your will will be done in my life and I will lose this weight
[00:26:14] And I need to lose and the fat and the skin will be doing what it needed to do
[00:26:20] Go back into the original shape that it was in the fat will disappear and go back down to the size
[00:26:27] It's supposed to be it's not supposed to be hanging out hanging over my pants panties or anything
[00:26:34] Father God, it's not supposed to be sticking out of my dresses out of my sides
[00:26:38] Or anything father God and these flapping arms that say hello and goodbye at the same time father
[00:26:45] God, I don't want that anymore
[00:26:46] I don't like that father God, and I'm sure you don't like it for me
[00:26:50] So father help me show me the exercises
[00:26:54] I got some different tools to exercise with father God
[00:26:58] Help me to use them the way that I need to use them
[00:27:02] Each and every moment that you tell me exercise help me God to do something different something new so that my
[00:27:10] Body will be made whole and will be healthy
[00:27:14] And I can eat the things that you tell me to eat so I can have all the nutrients and vitamins
[00:27:20] This body needs to survive and thrive so that you can get the glory out of it father
[00:27:25] God help me to make my body a living sacrifice for you
[00:27:32] So I can be
[00:27:35] Easily influenced by you father God so that you can use me to your glory to your will
[00:27:42] To your way in my life
[00:27:44] So as it is in heaven let it be done on the earth in regards to Lily
