[00:00:34] Today, our devotion is about a win-win situation. Everyone likes a win-win situation.

[00:00:40] A win-win situation happens with everyone-involved benefits.

[00:00:45] God promises that when we delight in Him, He will give us the desires of our hearts.

[00:00:50] To take delight in means to find joy and satisfaction in Him.

[00:00:55] It involves spending time in His presence, in prayer, and studying the Word.

[00:01:00] When we prioritize our relationship with God above all else,

[00:01:04] we begin to experience a joy that transcends our circumstances.

[00:01:09] Psalm 37-4 says,

[00:01:11] Delight thyself also in the Lord, and He shall give thee the desires of thine heart.

[00:01:16] This doesn't necessarily mean that every wish will be granted exactly as we envision.

[00:01:22] It means that as our desires align with His will, He will fulfill them in ways that are best for us.

[00:01:27] God's timing and methods are perfect, even if they differ from our own expectations.

[00:01:32] When we tune into Him, our desires align with His desire for us.

[00:01:36] Here are three simple steps to get your win.

[00:01:38] Number one, spend time with God.

[00:01:41] Make daily time with God a priority.

[00:01:43] Read the Bible, pray, and worship Him.

[00:01:46] Number two, seek His will.

[00:01:48] Ask God to reveal His will for your life.

[00:01:52] Be open to His guidance.

[00:01:54] Be willing to surrender your own plans for His greater purpose.

[00:01:57] Number three, trust and believe in His promises.

[00:02:01] Have faith in Him.

[00:02:02] Believe that God knows your heart's desires,

[00:02:05] and trust that He will fulfill them in His perfect timing.

[00:02:08] Remember that God isn't just interested in giving us what we want.

[00:02:11] He's more interested in transforming us into who we're meant to be.

[00:02:16] When we delight in Him,

[00:02:18] He shapes our desires to reflect His own goodness, wisdom, and love.

[00:02:22] It's a win-win situation,

[00:02:24] because we get to grow closer to Him,

[00:02:27] experience real joy,

[00:02:28] and discover that His plans for us are always far greater

[00:02:31] than anything we could dream up on our own.

[00:02:34] When we delight ourselves in the Lord,

[00:02:36] we find that what we thought we wanted pales

[00:02:39] in comparison to what He has in store.

[00:02:41] Let's continue to prioritize our time with God,

[00:02:44] seek His will,

[00:02:45] and trust His promises.

[00:02:48] As we do,

[00:02:49] we'll see His hand at work in ways that bless us,

[00:02:52] fulfill us,

[00:02:53] and glorify Him.

[00:02:54] Let's pray.

[00:02:56] Dear Heavenly Father,

[00:02:58] thank you for the promise that when we delight in you,

[00:03:00] you will give us the desires of our hearts.

[00:03:03] Help us to find our true joy and satisfaction in you.

[00:03:06] Align our desires with your will,

[00:03:09] and guide us in your perfect plans.

[00:03:11] Teach us to trust in your timing and provision.

[00:03:14] In Jesus' precious name,
