S1E10 - God Is "Omniscient"

[00:00:27] And ah man there's so many things that are happening in my life. So for give the

[00:00:36] inconsistency with the videos I am in a major transition. So this is gonna be

[00:00:43] the last video ending the God is series. There's gonna be another series coming up

[00:00:49] when it's gonna come up we don't know but there's gonna be another series

[00:00:53] coming up. But for those of you who have been faithful to watch every episode I

[00:00:58] just want to say thank you and I appreciate you. I love how God gives me

[00:01:03] this information to be able to share and what a privilege to step out on

[00:01:08] faith because this was not easy for me to do but to step out on faith and

[00:01:12] trust the Lord in doing this podcast. And so I value you, I appreciate you and I

[00:01:21] thank you so much for taking time to hear what the Lord has to speak to you

[00:01:27] through me. I don't take that lightly and I really value it. So again this is

[00:01:32] gonna end the God is series but we are going to come back with a new

[00:01:39] series okay. As the Lord transitions my life it's about to be a major move

[00:01:45] transition so as he transitions my life and reestablishes me then this prayerfully

[00:01:50] will continue going. But today's episode ah it's it's hard for me because

[00:01:59] we're gonna talk about the story of Job and I am gonna encourage you to

[00:02:05] read it just read it from beginning to end that has been a situation that it's

[00:02:13] hard. It's hard to swallow some of the things in Job just be real it's hard

[00:02:19] to swallow some of the things that are evident in Job but the two takeaways

[00:02:25] that we're gonna discuss today is very good and it goes in line with the

[00:02:31] nature of God being omnipotent okay. So for those you don't know with God being

[00:02:39] omnipotent that means he is all knowing the Bible says that he knows our thoughts

[00:02:44] are far off the Bible also says that before he created us in our mother's

[00:02:48] womb he knew us so he is the God who knows everything which is why sometimes

[00:02:53] we don't have to like defend ourselves or really go and elaborate to God even

[00:02:59] though we should share with God how we feel but we don't have to go into this

[00:03:03] big elaboration as if he is not present because he sees, he hears and he knows and

[00:03:11] he cares. So we are going to first look at Job one so go to Job one and it

[00:03:23] says there was a man in the land of us which okay we're gonna lie every time I

[00:03:31] read this I think about the Wizard of Oz okay but anyway there was a man in the

[00:03:39] land of us whose name was Job and this man was blameless and upright fearing

[00:03:46] God and shunning evil we're gonna say that again Job was blameless upright fearing

[00:03:55] God and shunning evil he had seven sons and three daughters and he owned 7,000

[00:04:02] sheep 3,000 camels 50 Yoke of oxen 500 female donkeys and a very large number

[00:04:09] of servants Job had wealth Job was the greatest man of all the people in

[00:04:15] the east or of the east verse 4 Job's sons would take turns holding feast in

[00:04:22] their home and they would invite their three sisters to eat and drink with

[00:04:26] them and when the days of feasting were over Job was sent for his children to

[00:04:32] purify them rising early in the morning to offer burnt offerings for all of

[00:04:38] them so he was a man intercession covering his children taking care of

[00:04:42] his household for Job thought perhaps my children have sinned and cursed God in

[00:04:48] their hearts that's deep though this was Job's regular practice it does make me

[00:04:58] wonder of all things why was that Job's thought obviously it was for a

[00:05:04] reason right that his children have sinned and cursed God in their hearts

[00:05:08] not like oh I bet my kids are having a great holy time in the Lord like nah I

[00:05:12] think they over there acting the fool let me come let me cover them right verse

[00:05:19] 6 now there was a day when the sons of God came to present themselves before

[00:05:26] the Lord so this is going on in heaven and Satan came also among them so you

[00:05:34] have God the way I see it is like God's on the throne right and the angels of

[00:05:40] the Lord are coming and they're saying like oh this is what we did today or

[00:05:42] this is what's going on today or there and they're sharing their part and

[00:05:45] dumb Satan Satan Satan tries to walk in there with him because you know Satan

[00:05:53] was an angel and appointed angel but because his heart was prideful he

[00:05:58] rebelled against God he got kicked out of heaven so he's actually beautiful

[00:06:02] he's not ugly he's actually gorgeous and was music so anyway we're not even

[00:06:10] going to get into that discussion not not here but Satan was beautiful so he

[00:06:16] is falling in line right with the angels like he he blends in and then you

[00:06:24] hear verse 7 and the Lord said unto Satan where are you coming from or it

[00:06:30] says whence come you but where you coming from then Satan answered to the

[00:06:34] Lord and said from going to and fro in the earth and from walking up

[00:06:39] and down in it so Satan jumps in with the angels to go approach the throne of

[00:06:47] God right that's the way I see it is like if I've seen no movies like if a person

[00:06:55] gets kicked out of a club but they really want to be there so they try to

[00:06:59] come back in and sneak behind somebody else or whatever like they'll they'll

[00:07:02] disguise themselves or something like oh I'm gonna just hide and act like I'm

[00:07:05] with this person so I can get through so it's like that's what Satan's doing but

[00:07:09] this does not get past the Lord and if you continue reading Job which I

[00:07:14] encourage you to it'd be very necessary to pray when you read it though too but

[00:07:20] this begins from this conversation on forward you're gonna see a lot of things

[00:07:25] happen with Job so he loses everything from his children to his wife saying

[00:07:33] like look why don't you just curse God and die and the question comes to me too

[00:07:40] like why he got to die why you got to tell him he got to die why can't you just

[00:07:44] be like dude why can't you just curse God but she's like no bro why can't you

[00:07:47] just curse God and die it's like dang that's a little that's a little harsh

[00:07:52] wifey and I'm gonna just throw this in their wives watch what comes out of

[00:07:57] your mouth especially when your husband is going through be careful be careful

[00:08:02] what comes from your mouth don't be a Psalms 52 woman the beginning of that

[00:08:06] Psalms 52 where your tongue is like a sharp razor let's not do that okay just

[00:08:11] woman-to-woman and woman-to-young lady and woman-to-little girl like let's just

[00:08:18] be careful what comes out so she's like why don't you just curse God and die he

[00:08:22] gets afflicted in his body it starts going through all the stuff and he

[00:08:27] loses like his wealth so all this stuff starts happening back to back to

[00:08:31] back to back to back to Job but Job never curses God and I want to put out there

[00:08:37] what the Bible says that Job was blameless remember upright fearing God

[00:08:44] and shunning evil yet he is going through these things but in God's eyes he is

[00:08:49] good in God's eyes he has created no error he has done nothing wrong but

[00:08:58] there are still issues so just because we're going through pain does not mean

[00:09:02] that we're doing something wrong okay so he's going through all of this pain and

[00:09:10] he goes in through like this lament like this grief and is like man he starts

[00:09:16] saying like man I wish you would just curse the day I was born you know and

[00:09:21] he's really broken and then his friends come who supposed to be Christians are

[00:09:28] believers will say and they're coming like dude they're just like falsely

[00:09:32] accusing him even though he's like but I didn't do nothing though but they're

[00:09:36] coming at him judging his situation right not seeking the Lord to ask but

[00:09:43] judging his situation wrongfully which is actually creating even more of a

[00:09:48] wait on to Job so he is going through he loses everything friends are blaming him

[00:09:56] he's doing all that and again you can read Job for yourself but there's two

[00:10:00] points I want to grab out of this number one in according to God being

[00:10:06] omnipotent God being all-knowing one thing I need you to know is God sees

[00:10:13] the fake God sees the fake mm-hmm oh yeah he knows the Bible talks about wheat and

[00:10:21] tear how tear grows up to look like wheat but it's actually not it's a fake

[00:10:26] representation but he separates the wheats the real thing the nutrients the

[00:10:32] the truth and then you have the tear that looks like this but that's not

[00:10:37] really you and so the tear we got to get rid of right so there's the wheat and the

[00:10:43] tear the Lord sees the fake so Satan walking in with the men of God my

[00:10:51] question is like why do we think that God won't see us or that he doesn't see

[00:10:58] us like why do we think that why did Satan think he can just walk in there

[00:11:07] as if the Lord would not know who he is and notice the Lord didn't say like oh

[00:11:16] hello to whatever other angels is there like hello hello you hello you hello no

[00:11:21] he addresses directly Satan Lucifer what's up what you doing here right he

[00:11:28] goes straight to the one who is fake and then the other question is why do

[00:11:34] we think there are not pretenders in line so you hear a lot of stuff when

[00:11:41] people go to church and they don't want to go to church because everybody in

[00:11:45] churches hypocrites was it's not true everybody's not some people like me are

[00:11:49] really just progressing to know the Lord more but as we're progressing the

[00:11:52] Lord is cleaning us like when you go to a laundry mat you don't get mad that

[00:11:58] other people have dirty clothes they're not hypocrites cuz they have

[00:12:00] dirty clothes they wash their clothes right so when we go to the church house

[00:12:05] we're all coming with our dirty laundry saying please wash me and make me

[00:12:10] clean but in the midst of that why do we think that there's not some even in

[00:12:19] the church house there's not some that may have the the name of a believer

[00:12:25] who who's actually not coming in right who's putting on the title believer but

[00:12:33] heart is truly far from God and this is not a judgmental statement this is just

[00:12:39] a real statement because the power of the word of God is the beauty of

[00:12:46] knowing how to discern who is for God and who is not and how to recognize

[00:12:52] when things are okay and when they're not it's by knowing the word of God having

[00:12:57] Jesus in your life and then having Holy Spirit who the Bible says leads you into

[00:13:02] all truth I'm gonna give you an example of this so we must rely on him and who he

[00:13:11] says he is we have to learn who God is and and learn the truth so one day

[00:13:16] this is an example I was in a prayer and I was invited to this event and this person

[00:13:24] started to pray and when they started to pray immediately in my heart I heard

[00:13:30] profane fire I was like what the heck is a profane fire what does that even

[00:13:36] mean never in my life have I ever ever ever heard something like this and it

[00:13:41] stopped me me it stopped me it stopped me in my tracks because you

[00:13:46] know when somebody's praying you buy your head and I don't say amen to

[00:13:49] everybody's prayer because amen means I agree and I may not agree with you so

[00:13:53] I'm careful to listen to people when they pray but as this person I'm bound my

[00:13:59] head everybody's you know bound their head for this event and they start to

[00:14:03] pray the words that came up profane fire I don't even talk like that and

[00:14:08] I was like okay Jesus and so I asked the Lord okay what what does that what does

[00:14:20] that mean what what are you what what's going on here what are you doing I

[00:14:23] don't understand this has never happened before and so it threw me off for a

[00:14:27] second but in that moment though they were praying so I made sure that I

[00:14:33] started praying because profane fire that means I'm you doing something

[00:14:38] supposed to be doing you're you are out of line you're out of position you you

[00:14:47] are you're doing something as if that's what you're called to do when you're

[00:14:53] not called to do it you're presenting something to the Lord as if it is okay

[00:14:59] when God is like nah no I'm not for that so the profane fire was that so I

[00:15:07] started to pray for this person and I'm just like I mean whatever it is this

[00:15:13] person's not walking up right I don't know what they're like I don't even know

[00:15:16] them to this day they pray for me one time when I was somewhere else now I was

[00:15:20] just like something don't feel right with this prayer so don't feel right

[00:15:22] with you so I wasn't really trying to and then and I didn't ask them to pray

[00:15:27] for me they just came up to me one time and just start praying for me and

[00:15:30] it was like mm-hmm and I'm not one of those people who fake it so it was

[00:15:34] like back up back back but um but that's what the Lord put and so this looks

[00:15:47] like Satan here like like Judas Judas the one who's blending in with the

[00:15:54] disciples I'm a follower of Jesus but really your hearts intentions are

[00:15:59] different so that is the power of knowing the Lord and so I want to read

[00:16:03] something that Paul says and it says and what I am doing I will continue to do in

[00:16:08] order to undermine the claim of those who would like to claim that in their

[00:16:12] boasted mission they work on the same terms as we do for such men are false

[00:16:19] apostles deceitful workmen disguising themselves as apostles of Christ and no

[00:16:26] wonder for even Satan disguises himself as an angel of light y'all we can't be

[00:16:35] deceived because Satan comes sometimes as an angel of light and we have to be

[00:16:40] careful so it is no surprise if his servants also disguise themselves as

[00:16:46] servants of righteousness their end will correspond to their deeds so anyone who is

[00:16:59] walking in this deceitful manner the Lord sees for those who are like man Lord do

[00:17:06] you see that God's like yes I do you focus on me though you allow me to take

[00:17:12] care of everything you allow me to work it out and know that I'm omnipotent I'm

[00:17:16] in control I see everything and in due season I got that I got that taken care

[00:17:22] of you don't have to worry about it the Lord sees that's so powerful and then

[00:17:28] for those that may be your position repent it's all I got go to the Lord

[00:17:37] and make it right go to the Lord and ask for forgiveness and ask for him to

[00:17:42] turn your heart because sometimes it's unintentional and you may do something

[00:17:46] and it's like oh man God even know I have the wrong heart you know but then

[00:17:49] sometimes people literally or come like Satan like like like it says and you're

[00:17:55] disguising yourself as light really with an alternative mode of motive so

[00:18:02] repent say yes to God for real and repent and if not then it's the Lord

[00:18:08] who takes care of that but the Lord is the one who sees the second point is man

[00:18:14] Job was going through hardship this hits my heart because I remember the Lord had

[00:18:22] me reading Job when my husband was sick I had no clue I was gonna lose my

[00:18:26] husband and lose everything I didn't know my story was gonna be a job story

[00:18:30] but he had me reading it I didn't understand why and so Job is broken in

[00:18:36] this moment he's grieving in this moment he's hurting in this moment and so when

[00:18:41] you read what Job talks about man he's like man I cursed the day that I was

[00:18:46] alive I cursed the day that I lived I wish I was basically never born

[00:18:50] that's how Job was feeling and God being his shield to address the

[00:18:57] emotions God literally addressed Job's emotions Job was going through a

[00:19:06] difficult time God didn't leave him to fend for himself he showed up right

[00:19:12] there and as a result to the grief he was experiencing he resolved and started

[00:19:21] to begin to heal the pain and the grief by showing and expressing who he was

[00:19:31] that is the power of knowing God guys because when you're going through and

[00:19:37] your emotions are everywhere the thing that remains is that God is real God is

[00:19:43] true God is peace God truly cares like when you learn who he is that's the

[00:19:48] power of this series that's the purpose of the series because what I was

[00:19:54] going through the hardest time in my life the thing that got me out the

[00:20:01] thing that got me out of that deep grief and that pain it still gets me out was

[00:20:09] getting to know him reading the Bible beginning to in and pulling out the

[00:20:15] attributes of who he is and learning his nature learning his heart posture

[00:20:19] learning that he truly cares it was those things it was those things it

[00:20:25] wasn't money it wasn't anything else it was those things seeing the beauty and

[00:20:32] the truth of who he is that got me through it was him that got me through

[00:20:39] and so the remedy of Job's pain wasn't just like everyone talks about like oh

[00:20:46] Job went through then God gave him double for his trouble no no no no no

[00:20:50] before double for his trouble God gave Job himself who I gave Job himself and

[00:21:04] then Job's testimony is man I see you face to face intimacy knowing who God is

[00:21:15] having a new revelation of who the king he served was that is what got him through

[00:21:24] that is what pacified his heart concern and that is what hurt that what that's

[00:21:30] what healed his hurts now we don't know how long Job was going through because

[00:21:36] even in God restoring him I'm sure he may have had moments of grief but there

[00:21:42] was nothing that knowing God could not heal so I say that to you today know

[00:21:51] that there's nothing that knowing God cannot heal not just learning verses

[00:21:58] not just going to church but literally taking time to see and know how amazing

[00:22:08] how wonderful how pleasant how compassionate how loving how graceful

[00:22:12] how kind God is and let me be very clear this is God through Jesus Christ right

[00:22:20] Father Son Holy Spirit the God of the Holy Bible that's who we're talking about

[00:22:26] and so remember God sees he is omnipotent he sees everything everything he knows

[00:22:35] when something is real he knows of something that's fake whether that

[00:22:39] fakeness comes for us arts from an outsider he also knows when we're going

[00:22:45] through and our emotions and how to pacify us with the goodness of who he is

[00:22:51] amen amen yeah it has been a privilege and an honor again to do this series and

[00:22:59] I look forward to the next one where we'll really be able to see the

[00:23:03] testimonies of others and how God showed himself strong and other people's
