[00:00:00] The stories, the journeys, the testimonies, the spiritual detox. Welcome back, welcome back DJ Focus, Dice Gamble. You tap back into the fix, your source of fake infuse, get pop army and poetry time for our spiritual detox.

[00:00:13] And you got to know how we like to do what we like to, you know how light the movie is in the different spaces. And that's not got a little boss on with me right now.

[00:00:21] Telling you she's doing all she might sell your house, she might get to in shape. She might, you know, acting one of your favorite movies or maybe even one of your TV series. You know, she's doing a lot of different things and a lot of different spaces.

[00:00:35] And I'm excited to have a conversation with her about everything she does. I'm super new and wise. We're going to talk about faith. We're going to talk about a little bit of everything. The super talented Sophia O'Weeems aka So Gucci. What's going on, sis?

[00:00:48] What's going on DJ Focus? I'm delighted to be on this show today to, you know, get the Europeans or my fans. Or if everybody in the radio were to get to know me a little closer, I'm just blessed

[00:01:01] to have this platform to share with other people into being an example of the different things that I have going on here in my small community in Jackson, Mississippi. And you know, just all over basically. That's good. Well, come on, talk about Mississippi a little bit.

[00:01:19] Talk about your upbringing. You know, if you can share with the people just what was your, you know, the culture like growing up there, you're upbringing and how did that shape you into who you are today? And you know what DJ Focus?

[00:01:32] I came from a very large family. I was the baby. Actually, my mom died when I was like six years old. So my dad had to take on the responsibility of raising this big family, my dad got remarried when I was maybe 10 or 11.

[00:01:51] So I had to kind of adjust. You know, I grew up in the, you know, practically blended family. I had a stepmother and she came up with a son, which I love my stepmother to death now. But it was very different for me.

[00:02:07] You know, I was trying to figure out where was my mom, you know, and trying to navigate through this blended family. It was, it was hard on, you know, my dad trying to, you know, make this thing work,

[00:02:21] trying to explain to me, you know, my mom is not here. My dad practically sent me to a private school. I went to a Catholic school, maybe all the way up to the eighth or ninth grade.

[00:02:33] So I was raised with some good value, some upbrings, you know, learning about Christ and my dad and still to me, some good values and some good things that shaped me to be the one that I am today.

[00:02:46] And these days, well, because I would have never thought in a million years that this big age that I'll be, you know, on this platform, you know, sharing my experience with the world

[00:02:56] on bail collective, you know, and I do want to say, you know, bail collectors about six successful entrepreneurs here in the Jackson metropolitan area. And, you know, I, I went to their thought that I'll be showcasing on this show, setting

[00:03:11] example for other people's, how to be a boss. I had another gay through different family issues or just being an example in my community. So stay right there. So how did you even get into the bail collect? How did that come together?

[00:03:25] These six bosses coming together to share these unique stories. How did that come together? Well, you know what it ran at the first season. I wasn't one of the first season of bail collective.

[00:03:36] It kind of, you know, went off the air for a while, but Oprah saw something in and bail collect. She was like, hey, you know, this is where I'm from. I'm from Mississippi. We need to bring these ladies back.

[00:03:47] One of the cast member called and say, hey, good, I need you to try out for this, you know, bail collect that I'm like me, you know, I was just really shocked.

[00:03:55] And, you know, with DJ Focus, a lot of people and I just want to share this with you today. And just, it just wasn't that the young lady just picked up the phone and said, hey, Gucci, I need you to be on the show.

[00:04:07] She saw what I was doing on social media. She saw that, you know, I was a real estate agent that I was a fitness trainer that I was given back to community.

[00:04:15] So a lot of times, you know, when you just about to give up something with pop, you know? So I need people that, you know, do have your mom and pop business and things like that. Social media is good avenue to market.

[00:04:28] You gotta stay consistent because somebody's watching, you know, and that's what I learned from that. You know, I just was doing it because it was my column. But somebody was watching us, hey, you know, the story that you share to, you know,

[00:04:41] your social media platform, the whole world needs to know. That's good. That's good. So you make the cut, you own the, you own the, you own the bail collective. What was that? Did you get a chance to meet Oprah and what was that experience like? If you didn't.

[00:04:55] Okay, having that a chance to meet Oprah, you know, but it's a big platform DJ Focus. Absolutely. I love it. My husband already been on television before he was on, um, brand it which had like five successful season on, um, lifetime, which is really good. Really good.

[00:05:14] And he already knew the world. So this was kind of brand new to me. It took a while. DJ Focus for people to, um, accept me. They already knew my husband. That was like, wait, man, who is this woman here?

[00:05:26] You know, with this guy, you know, I'm like, this, that's my husband. So I got a chance for people to see, you know, that, you know, my husband did have another life. He do have a wife and we're just trying to navigate through this blended family.

[00:05:40] You know, all the kids are grown. Thank God. But um, it was, is, is very, I've every year DJ Focus, I learned something different. I've something different about myself, something different about how I want to show up for the world. You know, what do I want to portray?

[00:05:57] Um, so the every time we, we look another season, I ask myself who do I want the world to see me. Yes, who do I want to betray? What example do I want to say? Because you know, I have to take me at the equation.

[00:06:09] It always used to be when I was younger. Me, me, me, myself. I had to make myself selfless in this, in this, um, process. Because I wanted to inspire somebody to become that real estate agent,

[00:06:22] to become that fitness trying or just to give GMs to make them successful in their business. That's good. And shout out to YouTube, I can tell you, may for real, because you used the key word selfless.

[00:06:33] That's something that all Mary, that's a, that's a cheat code for all the Mary people out there. Just remember it's not about you, it's about your spouse. But that's what we go go down that. That's a whole other story. We're here for a minute talking about that.

[00:06:45] We talk relationship stuff. So, um, you know, you're doing a bell collective. Was this your first introduction into any TV or acting or how, what was your first role in getting into any type of acting or theater or TV? This actually was my first role, DJ August.

[00:07:01] You know, I like I said, I never would have thought in a million years that I'll be in this position where I can share my life with the world. Um, I was on, even though I'm on Bill Collective, I did get an invitation to be on

[00:07:14] HGTV house honors. That was very fun to me. They got me a chance to showcase, you know, the different things that, and everybody, it's just a stereotype about Mississippi. They, you know, that I'm trying to change by being on this television.

[00:07:27] You know, I have to say a tight talk about this stereotype. Oh, I mean, people the first time DJ focused about out of somewhere and I said, hey, I'm from Jackson. The first thing they say Jackson, you know, they think about, um,

[00:07:40] the stereotype like, oh, you guys have the small houses. There's not any million errors in Mississippi. Well, that's nothing about, you know, the shotgun homes or a bad neighborhood and things like it is this portrayed in a negative light.

[00:07:54] So my job is to when I anytime the camera show, I got to let people know, you know, there are our false ladies doing good things here in Jackson, Mississippi. We have beautiful homes. We have nice restaurants to eat. We have inner, a lot of entertainment here.

[00:08:11] We have things for the kids to do and we're studying building. You know, we just show them Mississippi in a different light. And that's one reason why, you know, I decided, yeah, I got to get on this show.

[00:08:21] I got to let people know that Mississippi is doing their thing. There are, there are actresses here. There are bosses here. There are multimillion dollar, um, Ultra for new is here in Jackson, Mississippi.

[00:08:35] And you know what, when I showed, when I was on SGTB, I like, okay, I get a chance to show people these beautiful homes that's in Mississippi. So I was able to showcase the different homes in Mississippi and let people know, you know,

[00:08:46] a lot of people come back to Mississippi to retire. You know, because, um, they can sit by the lake and fish and drink their coffee or their beer. But there's a lot of different things to do here in Mississippi.

[00:08:58] You know, instead, I'm trying to get young people to realize, you know, you don't have to go to college, you move off to another state. Let's make where you at beautiful. Let's, let's, let's grow Mississippi. That's good. You know, um, you do so much.

[00:09:12] So I do want to ask because we talk about mental health all the time on the show. What's, what's something that you do to just keep your mental health intact? I mean, you're married. What's, you got, you got grown kids. Mm-hmm.

[00:09:24] You got, you got all these businesses that you running. Mm-hmm. What's that thing that keeps you where you don't just, you know, like, walk the edge? And you know what, that's why I called holistic health. You know, you got to be healthy in your mind and your body.

[00:09:39] Um, working out and gym is the way for me to relieve stress. Uh, DJ Focus, I know you said you, you have some early mornings. I do too. Two nights, two mornings out of a week, Mondays and Wednesday, I get up with my fitness class, we're working out.

[00:09:52] It's, I get up at five, 30. We're working out from six to seven. It's, it's the way I start my day. You know, and I always tell my clients, you know, it's mind over matter. Once you condition your mind, your body will follow and it makes you feel good.

[00:10:06] You know, it helps with that stressful day that you're about to have. So, and meditating and praying, um, you made my husband to tell me, baby, what are you doing? I get in my, uh, jacuzzi and I soak for hours. He's like, what are you doing?

[00:10:19] He said, you're going, you're going to shrub up in there, but actually, I'm meditating. I'm praying. I'm having a comfort. I'm having a feeling of a stronger conversation with God, because, and, and the thing is, we're about to stop me. I'm in maybe in a couple of weeks.

[00:10:32] And so, I have the condition, my mind. I mean, it's very stressful. DJ vocals too. Fingham, four and five times a week, 12 hours a day. I still have to make sure that my real estate business is doing what it's supposed to do.

[00:10:45] I still have to make sure my fitness business is up to par. So, taking care of your, your, your mental is very important. And one thing about a DJ focus, it took me a while to, um, I'm just going to be on.

[00:10:57] This is looking me a while to realize that how it poured me up to help with. When I was growing up as a child, I had an older day at, you know, if, um,

[00:11:06] how dare I say, um, you know, they, I, you know, something going on with me. I had to figure it out myself. You know, they didn't believe in, and I'm just me on, as, you know, my, my pair is in, and great brand parents.

[00:11:18] They didn't believe in, you know, the great girl you crazy. You know, I ain't nothing wrong with you. But it is, and I have to teach my kids today. It's okay to, to have these feelings. You know, let's talk about, you know, when I was growing up,

[00:11:31] I went able to talk about a lot of different things that I'm feeling. So now I incorporate that in my kids. And by me, you know, incorporating that in them and incorporated in my life, it makes my life better, you know?

[00:11:42] So, but because that mental focus is, especially when your family, DJ focus would a reality show is different from the film that I actually show. Because you, you got the role with the punches and you never know, every day it's going to be something different.

[00:11:55] I got my strip with the movie, but there is no strip for reality. Yeah, that's real, that's real. Well, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, talk about the balance of doing that because I'm Brad,

[00:12:04] you brought that up when we talk about reality TV compared to a script for a movie. And second, challenging sometimes for you. Do you ever feel especially in the reality TV park? Are there some things that maybe the producers are asking you to do that kind of

[00:12:17] conflict with maybe you don't want to really want to do it or put yourself out there in that imagery? And you know what I had to learn. The first, the first season that I found with Bill Collective, I was like trying to figure

[00:12:29] things out and the producer like, well, um, Gucci, let's do this, let's do this. But now going into the next season when I saw a film, I, I'm looking at things different. I have to figure out how wants to be portrayed.

[00:12:43] My grandkids is going to look at this 20 years later than like, oh, my grandmother did this. You know, so it's different now. So I'm going to, I want to be in control of my reality. Let's just say that I'm going to be in control of my reality.

[00:12:56] Of course, I'm going to give my authentic self. I'm going to be transparent. But I just go into this next season. I just have to be careful how I do things, how I say things because I know people are watching. You know, kids are watching this show.

[00:13:10] People come up to me all the time. And I'm just like, um, um, walking, you know, beable. People actually going whatever I portray on TV. This is how they're, they're going to see me in real life. So now it's very important that I try to stay positive.

[00:13:28] You know, um, all the while given them, given the people what they want, because you gotta be relatable. These are the things that my family's going through, the things that I'm going through, my job, the things that I'm going through with these girls,

[00:13:40] on this reality show is real. You know, and I just gotta make sure they, I set the best example. And of course, we're going to get into the little back and forth. I'm human, you know? And I help fill in.

[00:13:52] Of course, I made a argument one of my cats made. But at the end of the day, I want to be able to resolve it. Yeah, that's good. What's that one thing, um, what's someone think God has shown you?

[00:14:02] You know, over your journey, you know, I would probably say over the last 10 years of just your faith walk, your faith journey with everything that you juggle, your business in. Your family, what's that one thing or, you know, several things that God's kind of revealed to

[00:14:15] you that you didn't know either want about yourself or just from a spiritual aspect that he wanted to, you know, the positive and you to make sure that you understand, you know, you know, what he wants you to do when you talk about purpose.

[00:14:27] You know what DJ focus, and I'm, I'm, I'm, I'm hoping I'm answering your question. But one thing that I, I questioned God about a lot, and I made a set of the conversation with my friend girls.

[00:14:37] I'm not sure if he even said it, you know, in the interview. And I asked God, I'm like, God, why do you want me to do this at this big age? You know what he told me DJ focus, he said, because you wouldn't ready in your 20s.

[00:14:48] You weren't ready in your 30s. You weren't ready in your, you're ready in your 40s and you're fit, you know, I'm not, you know, I'm 50, but I'm just saying, you're, you're ready now.

[00:14:58] And he was like the things that happened to you in your life previously is shaped you to be what you are today. I need you to go on here and be an example. People are needing to see the problems that, that you're never getting with your family.

[00:15:11] People are needing to see, you still can be a boss. There's no age on a boss or being a star or something like that. And one thing people always come up to me, DJ focus, and I'm not, you know, bragging about this.

[00:15:23] They say, oh my goodness, you're so humble, you know, and I have to stay humble, you know, and I'm not that TV star or the be like, oh, look at me, look at me. You know, but I'm out and public.

[00:15:35] I'm just as normal and people just can believe how humble I am. And it took work, you know, it just when, you know, I'm just humbled off, you know, just coming off. Oh, just because God has conditioned me and programmed me for this in my life.

[00:15:52] And I, and I just wanted to remain grateful. You know, I want to remain humble and I always want to remain, I want it to be an example for other people because like I said, like you said before, a selfless is not about me.

[00:16:04] Somebody else life is being saved by me expressing this. I get so many inbox about people with our same Gucci. Oh my goodness, I'm going through the same thing in my relationship. I'm going through the same thing at home, you know,

[00:16:19] and I just, I tell my husband, why can't I believe all these people in my inbox? You know, telling me thank you for expressing it because they thought they was going through this by themselves.

[00:16:28] So, and I'm so glad that I can be a great example that I can be relatable and maybe, you know, get people to figure out that they can, that can get through this.

[00:16:39] But we'll get you out of here, come on and talk about your role in double cross. I know, uh, this thing is hot and uh, I'm, I'm praying that it comes back. I know uh, you know, they stopped it but I pray it comes back.

[00:16:50] But I talk about your role in double cross. Oh my goodness, at um, double crosses that was so fun to do. DJ focus, um, I worked with some great people. Got Crystal Gibson. Oh, um, let's start. Her husband, I was just, um, is it how we're getting some?

[00:17:08] I've got, let me, let me thank you, so now I can't pick up a writing. Oh, Crystal Gibson and yeah, how we're getting some this, see that new I knew. How it gives them there are so wonderful to work with. They gave me this opportunity.

[00:17:20] It was really great, like I said, it's different from working on, on a reality TV. Getting this role and just imagine and just stepping to character. And when I lead today, and when I lead the day for family, that's it.

[00:17:34] When I lead that day from reality show, film, and I got to come back to the same thing, you know, I have to, it is real. You know, it's good to kind of step in character, play the role, give it all like I.

[00:17:45] And I just do want to thank you know, Crystal and how it gets them for giving me that opportunity. I met someone, the people of Costa. She is so great, a blessing from God. And it was just so weird how I met her.

[00:18:00] I met her on one of the families of on the reality show and, and God must was talking to us, they had used that young lady, you know, and I'm so glad to be a part of it.

[00:18:11] Double crosses is off the chain, make sure you guys tune in on our black on Thursday. It is so good. I'm like I'm ready for the next row. That's what's up. Listen, appreciate you coming by today. So Gucci, can you tell the people,

[00:18:25] oh, you know what? No, I got to ask you. I got to ask my music question because we have music show. So yeah, if you, if you could only pick three gospel artists, dead or alive, what three gospel artists you pick, this show sounds right, this show,

[00:18:42] this show life sounds like he's the only three that you can rock with on the gospel, inspiration of the side for the rest of your life. Who you rockin' with? Marvin Sam, Marvin Sam,

[00:18:51] have me cry, Marvin Sam, have me shouting, Marvin Sam, have me all over this house when I'm playing. I love Marvin Sam, Dietrich Hayden, is this a Dietrich Hayden? And let's see who else. Surely Caesar, I'm an old time girl now.

[00:19:10] That's your job. Yes, I'm telling you, I'll tell him out there. I help me shout out over this house. Appreciate you so Gucci. Tell the people how they connect what you're following, you know, your social media platforms. Thank you, Dietrich. Focus if you want to follow

[00:19:23] Sofia So Gucci Williams, you can catch me on Instagram, there's So Gucci, 007. Actually, I'm also on Facebook at Sofia So Gucci Williams. Make sure you guys on tuning, we're faming again for a bell collective. Thank you for being a fan and hey,

[00:19:43] on all my platforms. Thank you. Keep it locked. You tune into the fix, you know, the fix is in. Dietrich, focus, dice gamble, you're tapping into the fix, your source of fake

[00:20:01] confused hip-hop, army and poetry. Come on now, it's time to get really neat streets and come on dice. We need to, you know, let God be in charge of the results today, huh?

[00:20:13] Yeah, we do. I think a lot of people are frozen. Frozen in their vision because they don't see the result they would like to see. You know, it's almost like working out.

[00:20:24] You know, once you begin that workout, you're not going to get us. You're not going to stop. You just thought you're a bad guy. It's like we're going to have to go do it. You just have to do it.

[00:20:32] You know, take your pictures, take your progressive, your progression photos. And yeah, that first week you're not going to see a change. Part of the truth. I've heard some of them. First month, yeah, you probably won't see anything.

[00:20:45] Okay, matter if I'm something you might get a little heavier because you're starting to build muscle and then you can on the scale and you freak yourself out because you're like, oh my goodness,

[00:20:52] I'm getting away. No, what happened? I changed my dice. Like, yeah, it's called your building muscle. Muscles heavier than fat. But no, just we know that there are a lot of people that

[00:21:02] God has put great gifts, talents and skills inside of them. You know, like they know that they're called to do something, but they're too busy sitting inside that, I don't know, comparative spirit.

[00:21:17] So they're too concerned about what the result is going to look like. What will it look like if I do, a God asked me to do. You know, like that's what said I brought up offline with you in

[00:21:27] the radio show. Like I'm sure people looked at you sideways, you know? Tell me, correct. Tell me how it's crazy. Well, they might still write. Listen, they told me they told me they never worked. They watch it. They watch it. They told me it would never work.

[00:21:47] They told me, you know, the music is not good enough. Yeah, yeah, you all online platforms. You're not on to rest. You're ready. Oh, it'll never work. Uh-huh. Oh God. What got turns out? Turns out they didn't know. Turns out they didn't get to,

[00:22:02] they did not get to control the result. Just like that with like me with being a female Christian artist or same thing. I had somebody telling me my music would never be blessed.

[00:22:11] I literally they know I get a check every, every, every month. My sound exchange comes in. I hadn't put it out in the mouth since 2018. Focus. So it's like, it's just people in their mind.

[00:22:23] And I mean, the person that got is called sometimes they freeze because they're so busy wondering what it's going to look like. That result, that in result. Like what would it look like if I got

[00:22:33] online and showed somebody that I, you know, I don't know rearranged my living room or painted whatever. Like you really want to show how good you are, but you're like, ah, there's a lot of

[00:22:43] people doing that and they house look better than mine. You know, and now you don't miss out on having a hundred clients whose houses you could go paint because you're so busy concerned about

[00:22:54] your thing looking like somebody else's or you're hearing the voice of the enemy tell you you're not good enough. It's not cute enough. Uh, such as such it did it last weekend and look better than

[00:23:03] yours. You know, if you were to have a T-shirt business before me and I was like, I better find make these shirts stuff. I better if I go with God, I bet somebody going buy something and that's exactly

[00:23:12] what happened. But it was like I didn't have time to be concerned about it, you know? I didn't have a separate building. Uh, my husband was like, look, you want to store a cell bag, you can't afford

[00:23:24] a store front. We got an extra room used that. What are people going to think? Didn't care? I was like, you know what he's right? Oh, well, you know what I got and God's going,

[00:23:35] God's going bless that thing and that's exactly what happened and honestly that's why I'm sitting here. So it's like, you know, you cannot be concerned about the result. You have to give the result to God.

[00:23:45] You got to let God have that in result. Seriously, like you just move and you move an obedient, you know? And I'm thrilled. Some people think, I was your boy, who does this case? Yeah,

[00:23:59] he's, um, what's his name? Marcus, Marcus, Marcus. Yeah, like the last every year gets better, you know? It's funny, funny to me how he'll be like, oh man. I don't what he's going to do. You

[00:24:10] know, and I'm sitting here like every year this thing gets better but I know there's a point, and especially, you know, resting power to his baby because it was insane that he lost the child.

[00:24:19] Like he was literally doing the worship, focus would a sick child. Yeah. And then end up losing, I don't know if the baby was a baby, if it was a boy or girl, but I was right. But it's just

[00:24:31] like man, God keeps elevating him and elevating everything he's doing. And I'm like man, no, the first one that didn't look like the one that was on Broadway last year. You know,

[00:24:41] saying so it's like you can't, you don't have time, so it's fake. So you really don't have time to be concerned about the result. You have to just go. You just have to move, you know?

[00:24:54] Um, so yeah, you got something to go. Yeah, you got some of the examples of um, and the sovereignty. It's not fair about who's still believing. I saw that. Yeah, yeah, no seriously because, no, no, we, we, we, we, we, we say these things and recite these different

[00:25:08] scriptures dice all the time. But always, you know, it even me, it was sometimes I used to always question everything and it was slow down me being able to move, you know, by faith, boldly, but listen,

[00:25:22] when I, when I really, really just really just understood that listen, God, ultimately is in control of the outcome and the trust in his wisdom and his plans and get out the way and just be the vessel.

[00:25:35] So I thought that everybody'd realize, listen, he just wanted to use you. You keep thinking this you, it ain't you. No, no, seriously, it ain't you. I spoiler, spoiler alert. I felt, I would

[00:25:46] tell you, he just wants to use you when you talk about getting him purpose and you talk about doing things by faith, he is using you. So that's that's critical to understand his sovereignty

[00:25:57] and understanding he's in control of the outcome and just continue to walk by faith. So yes, that's that's exactly what you have right now with the fixed radio show. You have, you know, somebody who

[00:26:08] listened stepped up to the plate and just start walking by faith. I promise you, everybody called me crazy, everything you could think of, you know, of course, you know, people left me,

[00:26:17] you know, people was only only with me to take ideas and take strategies and take stuff. So they could try to do their own thing and then I look up to God be the glory. I'm the only one still standing

[00:26:31] after years and years and years, you know, because again, you have to be in purpose to understand that this is mission driven. It's a sacrifice and you got to have dedication. But again, if I didn't trust in that sovereign God, it wouldn't be happening. So yes,

[00:26:49] this is a good one. This is a good one. It's good. It's good. You know, so I'm, you know, this is just so people don't miss day blessing or get frozen or or get stuck. You know what I mean?

[00:26:59] Like it's just so much out here for the world to see like in the same way you see somebody online who's super blessed and you're like, oh, I want what they have or why no, I can do that.

[00:27:09] Oh, do it. But guess what that in result might not look like theirs. And I'll be real with you just because you see somebody on a high platform or they're front of a huge crowd or they're traveling

[00:27:19] a lot. It doesn't mean that is their blessing. And I really don't want that to go everybody's head, that it doesn't mean that that is their blessing. Like this is why it's super

[00:27:30] important for us not to compare ourselves to other. I mean the Bible tells us not to do it because you're being foolish and that's in second Corinthians chapter 10 and 12 for we dare not class ourselves or compare ourselves with those who commend themselves. But they measuring themselves by

[00:27:46] themselves and comparing themselves among themselves they are not wise. And it's like this whole earthly experience. Sometimes we can fall into pride and become a little high and Proverbs is very clear by saying, you know, a proud heart, you know, a hotty look like all of these are

[00:28:07] sinful. And it's like, or a person who maybe you know somebody who they're going to die in six months, them getting a TED talk and now they have a following online and all of the world just because

[00:28:22] they become famous that's not the blessing. Like for them they're blessing to probably be that they get to live for two more years, you know? So it's like, we are relationships always stay intimate with

[00:28:35] God regardless of what comes along with the elevation, you know like we have to have a sense of humility when it comes to doing things and you being humble is saying God I released the idea of this thing

[00:28:49] looking like that. You know what I'm saying? Let it be what you want it to be. Let it look like what you want it to look like. Even if I got to start my church and I'm preaching to my kids every

[00:28:58] Sunday in the living room, let it be. You know, just just let it be because one day I know you're going to do something even greater than that. You know I know it's going to be bigger than that,

[00:29:10] but we have to continue to trust God and continue to walk with God and trusting God also means trusting God with the result. No, that's a good one right there. Listen, we've got to go to a quick break.

[00:29:22] Don't touch that down. We're talking about it today. Like God being charged at the results. Keep it locked. You're tuning to the fix. And the fix is in. And we back to each of the focus

[00:29:32] in this disgambal and middle list real talk conversation. Pray, pray, this is blessing the all today. I think you're off a tap in here and listening to us. We're just talking about it

[00:29:42] today. You know, let God, let go, let God be in charge of the results. And you know, why we had break guys, I was thinking about you know, sometimes I think we don't understand

[00:29:59] God's perfect timing. And because we're caught up in again, we want to be in control of the outcome. We want to be in control of our destiny and you know, we say things like, you know,

[00:30:12] it leaves me. I know I pray every night. You know, God ordered my steps. I just wonder how many people say that prayer or say that and really believe it. Yeah, really believe it. Like do you really

[00:30:23] believe? Do you really want God to order your steps and are you okay with the outcome? Because again, at the end of the day, it's his will be done not yours. And I think, you brought a pride.

[00:30:35] I know a lot of men myself to as well. He struggled with that prideful, a prideful thinking of, you know, thinking, you know, I can do everything on my own. And, you know, I don't I don't need

[00:30:46] nobody and that was I was so wrong. I wasted a lot of years stuck in my own head trying to be something that a God didn't want me to be in the first place and me not resting and trusting on God

[00:31:00] in his timing got me off course, but but thank God, I got back on course, thank God, I got back into a ministry and taught me that no, you know, you got to trust in God's perfect timing. And when

[00:31:12] he's ready to release it because I really believe, you know, we we pray these things and I think things will be released but it's still always in his perfect time. Always in his perfect time.

[00:31:23] I mean, is this levels of trust with this one right here? That's good, levels of trust. God, God got to know you trust you. That's good. Oh, that's good. That's true. And that's the truth. That

[00:31:35] is the truth. God got to know you trust you. He got to know that you're ready, you're prepared for what he releases that you ready for because yeah, you're right. Again, I brought that up

[00:31:44] when you know when I was younger. I wasn't ready yet. How about this? How about people who people been praying, right? They've been praying and praying and praying. So it's something that they've

[00:31:55] seen. They want to be blessed in this way. They want this, this that the third. How many people have walked away from God because they didn't get their prayer answered, not realizing God just don't

[00:32:09] want to do that again. God, that's good. Yeah, I don't want to do that again. That's cute. You can do it. That's cute. That's cute. Yeah, that's like, you know, I just, I don't want to do that again.

[00:32:21] You know what I'm saying? And if you think about it from, but I've said this before on the show. If you think about it from a perspective of like one day in human life, it's years to God,

[00:32:34] you know, it's not longer. So the thing that I'm praying for, if it ain't, if that's not what God wants from me, I'm wasting my time. I'm wasting my breath. I'm wasting God's time ultimately. It's like,

[00:32:47] you know what I'm saying? So it is, you do need to release the expectation that a thing will be what it's supposed to be. Like, I think that in result in prayer should always be like

[00:32:58] was a Priscilla shared. No, no, who was it? You were saying it and if God, if you don't do just do something better, you know what I'm saying? Like it was put to a shower. Yeah.

[00:33:08] Sire, yeah, yeah, just, just God do, do you God? Like I'm just, I'm following what you ask me to do. I'm trusting that you're going to make it what it's supposed to be. And then whatever comes out

[00:33:19] it is, you're will be done. You'll be glorified. That's it. That is it and I don't reason why I say this well because it's because I can't count how many times I personally

[00:33:30] had wanted a thing to look a certain way. You know like, oh man, because you want to get better. You want to impress people. Trust me. And if you think you don't have to see it in you,

[00:33:42] you're not human. You must be an AI robot because every human wants to show up, show out, look good, impress. Like we are designed for community and we're designed to want to be accepted

[00:33:56] that God made us that way. So we would have a better relationship with God, but it's not or us to stop trusting God because the thing doesn't show up the way we want it to. And now people

[00:34:09] are like, oh, see I knew that was going to be corning or I knew that was going to show up or I knew you know, I could hook her. Who cares? Who cares? You got to tap out. When you become a

[00:34:18] person and you really got to tap out and be like the only person that matters is God. Now if people are blessed, amen and if I get to levels of folk, amen and if I get to build relationships,

[00:34:26] amen, but ultimately at the end of that night or at the end of that event or at the end of the day, hopefully you did what God asked you to do. So that's what I'm saying like you have to learn to

[00:34:37] let God be in charge of the result, you know? And um, think the kingdom, think the kings. You should be king of the kingdom. No, no, like you said, if you say kingdom, no God,

[00:34:49] that I will get God back, you know, in the midst of the things. I think the him and his righteousness be more like him. I'm about to put him in the work. That's good. What about these people who

[00:35:01] they know that it's called the marriage somebody but they don't because it, uh, I don't know. Maybe they won't have six back. What do you mean? I'm talking about like being charged a result.

[00:35:12] Oh, you talk. Listen, I'm not saying that. No, no, no, no, no, no, no. That's a real conversation. So that's what now we're feeling about because you're right. I think a lot of people had these

[00:35:24] high expectations in relationship or who they think they should be able to marry compared to what the real, the real thing is. Oh, I heard one of my homeboys saying, if the don't don't

[00:35:37] in a woo, woo, woo, woo. And I was thinking, don't don't don't don't. And I'm like, bro, in about 20 years, you ain't even going to be able to handle that don't. So what are we talking about? Like,

[00:35:48] you know what I mean? Like, you're going to want somebody who's going to be there for you, who's going to endure you who's going to look for you. You know God forbid you.

[00:35:56] You're going to pray for you. Pray for you. Pray for you. Pray for you. Like hands on your cook, breakfast lunch dinner. You know, and if you were the one that has to go into the nurse

[00:36:04] home first, you're going to want somebody that's going to wash your behind. But you so stuck. No one that no one that show life. But you so you want to be in the club with the 20

[00:36:12] years. And I'm like, okay, okay, God trying to bless you now. He's trying to bless you with a good woman. You know she's in church all week. You know, you know, saying, you know, she loved a Lord.

[00:36:23] And I'm just like, it's the same thing like we have to move out of the way. And I'm not mad at people who marry people who are like, well, I got married somebody fun and I'm trying to,

[00:36:33] I believe that one. But I'm just talking about the pettiness of it. Whereas like, okay, you know, don't don't shanish up people out here. You know, please, please my best example of

[00:36:42] come on, bro. I know I saw you on a prostate commercial last week. Come on, bro. Don't do this. She got a look like this and look like that. And I'm like, you are a whole superhero. Okay, on everything

[00:36:55] natural, you know, with a whole trainer and good luck finding a woman out here to get the same money you got and play football. Okay? Good luck. So, um, no, I'm just saying like, you know,

[00:37:08] we really got to let go of being charged a result. That's the only thing. And that it takes a level of faith. You know, we've all been given, you know, this gift of faith. But it is about us activating that

[00:37:19] faith and exercising that faith and then not being upset and feeling like you've wasted time. I can't count how many times I went to go doing a bit. And my husband was like, man, didn't I buy a

[00:37:28] Michelle up a day, who was too premium blue blue blue, you know, like, can see them spit the money to give me there. You know, then you got this little Christian event five people showed up, but

[00:37:36] little to he know five years later, that person would call me to the creation festival across the world, that person would call me on the MTV stage. You know, because they grew in their ministry

[00:37:46] and they remember when I came to the little church, you know, and they event. So it's like, I'm just a testament. Like I can just speak to how many times God just said move, go, move,

[00:37:57] go. And I'm like, already yes is what I always have for God now, but it took me doing it a couple of times and not listening. In fact, sometimes you got to tap out and not listen to your mate,

[00:38:06] not be disrespectful. But if you know, God called you to do something, I gotta say, hang on, no God asked me to do this. And I know he's going to confirm that with you this week.

[00:38:14] But this is where we got to go. And so yeah, that's something I like God being charged with a result. But you need to move when God's able. Okay, that's it. I'm done. No, that's good. And to make sure

[00:38:26] God is a part of it. I'm glad you, I'm glad you brought up the Senate Sharp situation. And shots are to you, Shannon, we definitely want to get that comes from Joe and I do remember

[00:38:38] that that particular, I'm going to podcast or whatever. Yeah, yeah, but he was just talking about, yeah, he was giving this criteria of women. It was a lot, but shot, but but but talk about how many

[00:38:51] women will go out and try to be. No, no things to let just to be able to attract the Senate Sharp or whoever our celebrity athlete. And then again, did you pray? Did you get you?

[00:39:04] You asked God, God, does this show will for me to get this pleasure? Is this is just the only way I can get a husband by hitting these plastic surgeries and getting these injections and getting these,

[00:39:15] you know, these new breasts or whatever it is, I would see women getting things into this. I'm like, what is going, I said, is our God praying about this? It's God really wanting you to go

[00:39:27] do all this or it's new doing it. So when you talk about it, no, seriously, so I know we talked about that God being charged at the results, but let's be very clear. Some of y'all need to

[00:39:37] understand that God ain't in this. So some of these results are going to be on you because with it, with that would that not be a former witchcraft, everything you just named? Yeah, okay.

[00:39:47] Because if you look like something you're not, I think that's the clear definition of what that is. You're trying to perform some type of magic. You're trying to put a spell on me

[00:39:58] because you know that that's what I'm looking for. So if a person would go and do a, okay, I'm going to be BBL, I'm getting a lipol section, I'm getting a plastic surgery on my face and I'm getting

[00:40:09] injections and I'm getting a whole new one in my list. And you've got to look at a homeless in about 20 years and then your husband will realize he got duped. And that's not he wanted, he wanted that,

[00:40:19] but he didn't want it unnaturally. He wanted that one, it did naturally. So I was saying like, let God be in charge of the results. And there's somebody for everybody when I say, yes, I'm trying to, whoo, I know this merit and just like, I know some couples,

[00:40:36] and I'm like, bra, they'll tell you this is what I want it. This is what I want it. This is what I want it. And I'm like, this is crazy. There's somebody for everybody. Somebody for everybody. So that's

[00:40:46] all I'm saying, it's like, like God being a charger results and don't give aside yourself when they don't look like what you were thinking it looked like if it was something God actually to do.

[00:40:56] So yeah. Leave me with some scriptures. Matthew 2639, feel free to read that when you get a chance to just show you how Jesus even submitted to God. Also too as well, another scripture to check out is Jeremiah 29 and 11. Which is the sure as us, God's plan for

[00:41:14] us and everything that he's trying to do with trusting in his promises and allowing for him to be in charge of the results. So appreciate you all, listen, we, I said for the real talk,

[00:41:27] we gotta go to a break. We'd be right back or more. You tapped into the fix. And the fix is in. What's closing thoughts on let go and let God be in charge of results, dice what's the

[00:41:37] people know? You can trust God. I mean you would want to trust God. You know he has his own purpose and everything but he definitely has his own purpose and the results of what you do. And I think

[00:41:49] our idea of tampering with things sometimes trying to make it look a certain way kind of hinders you know, what it could be. And so I'm just saying like, God, that's what I hope because I

[00:42:01] like I've got and when you're doing something or when you're led or whatever you're going through like don't worry about the results and what it looks like. You know, I think you should focus more

[00:42:10] on the process because it definitely is about the journey. You know, that that's our whole relationship until we are in heaven. It's definitely about the journey. So you know, I think some

[00:42:23] people can get stuck and I don't want anybody that listens to the show to get stuck. So we don't want to stuck. Please don't get stuck. Yeah, please don't get stuck. Yeah, let

[00:42:31] guy handle that. You just move when God says go you go. When God says do you do? Okay, just have you already. Yes, yes, guy. Yes, guy. Yes, guy. Yes, guy. Go and let him worry about

[00:42:42] you know, the result, the haters, you know, whatever it is what didn't work out. You know, what worked out. That's yeah, you keep moving. Keep moving. That's it. Keep moving ball too

[00:42:52] as well. So I thought there everybody realized you got to keep God involved. That's right. You know, know, where he want to take you. How he want to order you. That's right. Every thing they so

[00:43:00] take your prayer life to a new level. Let's do it. That's good. All right. We want to shout out our guests today too as well. Sophia O'Weeems aka so Gucci. Listen, yeah, you know, she's doing a lot of

[00:43:12] good things. You guys may have seen her on the bail collective, you know, you might see my to sew your house. She's doing a little bit everything. She's a realtor. She's a reality TV

[00:43:21] host. She's an actress or producer. She, you know, mogul. She does fitness training. She does a lot of good things. So it was good to hear her come and share her faith journey. Talk about everything. Doves

[00:43:31] she's got going on. You can catch her auto to his whale in the hit series double cross. That's out right now to his whale. I know it's on BT Plus and I think a 2B2 is well. So yeah,

[00:43:42] shout out to you so Gucci for coming through kicking the wood us today. I said for us, we got to get out of here as always. Remember to stay focused on turning your negative into a positive.

[00:43:51] Jesus Christ is always the answer. King of advance must always be to go to fix his in. We out.
