[00:34:45] Opportunities for people that are close to them and have a line to them to start those conversations

[00:52:58] But there's been a lot of conversations

[00:53:00] Um on the net too as well

[00:53:02] Uh, you know what's the difference between uh if you have a podcast compare to if you have a radio

[00:53:06] Show and our podcast is really considered journalists do they do or research for their interviews

[00:53:12] And if they're even interviewing uh people at all because that's another thing with uh when you talk about podcasting

[00:53:19] Um, you know some podcasters don't interview people. They just come on and have their podcast

[00:53:22] They talk about whatever topic they want to talk about

[00:53:25] And that's the podcast

[00:53:26] Compared to uh, you know, I would say you know radio shows, you know, yes, absolutely interview people

[00:53:31] We of course have topic segments, but it's a little bit more that goes into it

[00:53:37] I would argue compared to just having a podcast so yeah off the top guys

[00:53:41] You know what's your thoughts when you see you know the headlines you know

[00:53:44] Podcasts and uh the same as radio or you know our podcasters journalist

[00:54:53] I've gone places as recently as like

[00:54:56] 2012 and they didn't have a CD player

[00:54:58] There wasn't any computer. There was no way to get Wi-Fi, you know, things like that

[00:55:03] They could not afford to have any type of

[00:55:06] device where they could you know download or stream

[00:55:09] Music but they had a radio

[00:55:12] You know what I mean? So

[00:55:14] For all the old vehicles that are created all of the old vehicles they have a radio

[00:55:19] so

[00:55:20] Yeah, radio is very very different than a podcast now less with some respect on podcasting

[00:55:25] podcasting has grown

[00:55:26] It's getting millions and millions of more listeners each year. It grew by like 42% since

[00:55:33] last year

[00:55:34] Which is insane but that's because one people can tune into the on demand

[00:55:39] Media

[00:55:40] Which is podcasting and listen to whatever they want to when they want to

[00:55:46] And one of the tricks and we have this as well will be here on the radio and then it'll go to a podcast and so it's like

[00:55:53] Podcasts will never be able to catch up with radio

[00:55:56] Because radio

[00:55:58] Radio is gonna be here forever. It's all it's it's right now

[00:56:01] It's right now like if we had to you know put out anything happening right now

[00:56:05] We could just jump on and do that

[00:56:07] So there's a huge difference and

[00:56:10] I would never call it journalism. It will always be on demand media because

[00:56:14] When you're on the radio you have we have to be very careful

[00:56:17] We can't say certain things. We can't offend certain people

[00:56:21] We have to have the facts, you know, there's you might get sued differently when you have a podcast

[00:56:26] You can say whatever you want to say it could be fake news and you can have a podcast

[00:56:31] So yeah, no when you're on the radio trust me you could take a whole station down by presenting

[00:56:37] You know information that is incorrect or you know

[00:56:40] Causing some type of uprising so that the level of accountability is higher

[00:56:44] You know our responsibility is greater as as hosts on the show and

[01:02:32] The world shut down everybody's podcasting all of a sudden everybody want to have a you know have a show all of a sudden

[01:02:41] We saw a lot of podcasters make streams of income depending on you know how good your show was

[01:02:48] You know how big your audience were they started getting you know

[01:02:51] I'm saying people reach out and say hey, you know

[01:02:54] You want to be a you know vitamin water whoever I'm just using random names now like partnering with them for different segments or different parts of their shows

[01:03:02] But I don't know dice. I think it ain't the same as uh what radio stations are getting when you talk about

[01:03:09] Money and the advertisers compares that you know a lot of the podcasters are getting sponsorship dollars too as well

[01:03:14] Which ain't no wrong that shout-out does yeah

[01:03:17] Yes, we we in a unique situation dice because we get it all so while y'all y'all limited

[01:03:32] You know, but it is a lot easier when it comes to being on the radio with your advertisement and your sponsors

[01:03:38] They're bigger sponsors bigger advertisers people who pay good money. You know your Google's Microsoft BMW

[01:03:48] Just your content like the the ability to get people to come on and talk about what they have going on like when you are on a

[01:03:55] Radio platform is very very different than them coming to your house and just hanging out with you

[01:04:01] um, I mean just uh

[01:04:03] It's just a whole so different things the products that you can promote or even just us getting sponsorships

[01:04:09] You know what I mean like from these different products of people who trying to pitch their product

[01:04:12] They'll pay you a lot more. I mean seriously

[01:04:14] Last year in September they were they had already made eight billion dollars

[01:04:19] So it's it's very different in the radio world

[01:04:23] Then in the podcasting world and you do have some people who are making money with their podcast now because they were on radio

[01:04:29] So you want to talk about uh

[01:04:31] What's a man named Rogan

[01:04:33] Like he's one of the highest Joe Rogan their Joe Rogan experience so yeah because he has radio and

[01:04:39] Podcasts he's able to make that I don't know

[01:04:43] 300 million a year as a podcaster

[01:04:46] But how many Joe Rogans do we have in the world? You know not a lot

[01:04:50] Not a lot

[01:04:51] But uh, it's it's it's it's just different man. It's different. There's a different level of accountability

[01:04:57] And it does does different level of the product that comes out of uh, you know radio

[01:05:01] And it always will be like that

[01:05:03] So I just like the fact this more it's a more trusted form of journalism

[01:05:07] You know because of accountability and

[01:05:11] repercussions that could happen if we put out false information like that could really really come down on the whole team

[01:05:18] So yeah, it's different and be careful of you know y'all out there listening to podcasts double check

[01:05:23] I make sure these people know they talk about too

[01:05:25] Because somebody could just be giving you false information every single day

[01:05:28] And you could just be buying into that

[01:05:30] Yeah, the clicks absolutely that so now

[01:05:35] And I thought to all the all the awards people uh, I thought to everybody who has awards

[01:05:39] I love you, but I would I just agree to disagree with some of

[01:05:43] Y'all uh, putting everybody in the same category

[01:05:47] podcast or radio show of the year that listen

[01:05:50] I love you, but

[01:05:51] Sometimes podcasts might only put out two episodes in a month

[01:05:54] So how do you how do you scale somebody who only puts out two episodes a month?

[01:05:59] We'll say for it. Thank you. A shot episode every week

[01:06:01] They put out four episodes a month and then you have us to come along

[01:06:05] We put out six a week six times four that's 24

[01:06:09] So how do you lump somebody in the same category who puts out 24 shows a month

[01:06:13] Compared to somebody who puts out four shows a month and a competition far as to send who has the best content for the year

[01:06:19] They're not even put out the same amount of work that listen

[01:06:22] I don't have to be a mathematician. I ain't got to have a CPA

[01:06:25] But I just know the percentages of four and 24 are very much far rich reached out

[01:06:31] So it's like so to me, I really I really would like for people to consider when you have these awards ceremonies

[01:06:38] podcast things should be its own award

[01:06:41] Radio shows should be their own awards. That's just my personal opinion

[01:06:45] That's no shade to nobody, but again, I just don't see the same work

[01:06:50] And I got this from actually Charlemagne Charlemagne on the breakfast club talked about this when they were up for

[01:06:56] Radio show of the year slash podcast other year and then if I'm not mistaken, Carisha

[01:07:01] From revoke shouts out to you know

[01:07:03] Everybody over there, but just in general she wanted, but yeah, she only puts out one episode a week guys

[01:07:09] So she does one episode a week

[01:07:11] So that's four episode a month and last time I check I can count pretty good

[01:07:15] But it's really we only had to do one episode a week

[01:07:20] Now they they wouldn't grab no so that's 288 shows a year if we're doing 24 shows a month

[01:07:27] And I will just say not only is that a show

[01:07:31] Put some respect on a name it could be an artist entertainer

[01:07:34] football player basketball player

[01:07:37] athlete somebody who wrote a book

[01:07:39] And on top of that you get in music you get in content you get in Bible based scripture

[01:07:46] It just don't stop. I mean, so it's like yeah, I agree with you focus

[01:07:53] I say it again. I won't be able to put respect on our name and think about what you're thinking about

[01:08:31] You got people to get back with you sometimes people to get don't get back with you

[01:08:34] Like there's a different level here just from the advertisement that we do

[01:08:38] And we do it all for our community. We do it all for God

[01:08:41] But I personally I love my recognition

[01:08:44] I'd like you know, I like to be recognized for my hard work

[01:08:47] And so yeah, it kind of sucks when people put you in that category of a
