[00:15:17] situation I like to kind of keep it raw you know because I feel like we we're all coming by testimonies so one man testimony going to help the next man so pretty much putting it together just going through and just strategically trying to make sure like this next album is really you know I'm saying like beneficial to as a whole like as far as my wall you know I'm saying we got as far as I'm going to do it.

[00:15:52] You think that's something that's missing because I want to go think that you do very well when you talk about ministry you are very vocal you are very transparent.
[00:16:00] You think that's missing right now in the church you think when I happen to be real conversations or talking about real things that we're struggling with that guy that's maybe brothers do or maybe we still struggling a lot.
[00:16:12] And it's definitely missing and that's why a lot of people you know get hung up because it's like we we suffering in silence you know I'm saying we fighting inside us we fighting by ourselves when we could really have community if we shared and open up like what we going through sometimes but it's like just society it's taught us.
[00:16:34] You don't show you we you don't show you you know you're going through because this got happened people aren't going on and you know I'm saying but it's like it's a real deal ain't no sense in putting on like you you know got it all together then when you crash out they're going to leave anyway you know I'm saying versus if you present who you are authentically straight up forward when you found sometimes you'll get great you know more grace then if you was on top and you just act like you got it all together.
[00:17:03] That's good thanks for sharing that and I think something else that you do very well you connect the streets can you talk about the balance and the difference in street ministry compared to church ministry because a lot of people are not coming outside of the church doors.
[00:17:17] You just stand stuck in the building right but when you go in the community and you actually walk with the people right speak to that a little bit right.
[00:17:26] I feel like this the most important part you know saying because I don't really make music more so for the church I do make music for them to enjoy to probably reminisce or if they get stuck you know back you know where they came from but it's for the streets it's for the people who lost you know I'm saying so it's like a lot of my music I'm planning to them before I even put it out to see how they react to see if it touched them or move them.
[00:17:55] You know because that's the most important that's what we trying to reach we try to get souls at the end of the day that's all it's about you know saying bring it closer to Jesus and you know I'm saying just helping people as in general just have a better walk you know in relationship because a lot of people just don't have relationship no more they just going through the motions going through the process and sometimes that I know you know you got to have a relationship once you get back in that corner and you know you don't know what to do.

[00:18:48] You know what I call to the black culture for a minute specifically black man yeah why do you think we struggle with like really addressing mental health issues when you talk about you know black men not even thinking that they have issue
[00:19:02] I think a lot of you know you talk to the father's to the grandfathers why do you think that's such a struggle for men to be vulnerable and say you know what maybe I do focus on there maybe I do these spiritual problems for some issues that I may be going with person suicide.
[00:19:20] Hope you know PS like you go down the list right why do you think mental health is such a thing black men yeah I think because we're talk you know we we were talk to that.
[00:19:31] That's being strong you know not like I said sharing what you're going through not you know vocalize and talking to people about your problem because we so used to if I tell this person they're going to put my business out you know saying if I share this you know it's going to be like even in my family just you know black culture like anything in this house.
[00:19:54] I'm saying so you know you can't we were talk to just keep it bottled up but I think now a lot of you know people are learning to talk you know saying to deal with it that is really mental health that we are dealing with you know I'm saying that we need to kind of fix because it's like.
[00:20:15] You you really will go and I know that you need to talk to somebody until you just start you know crash now you know with certain things but it's like you you can you just.
[00:20:26] This part of like this is how I put it here when you can really have freedom if you was to talk to somebody share have a brother system accountability you know I'm saying stuff like that so.
[00:20:38] No that's good thanks for sharing that I know something else is tough and definitely want to salute you man yeah I know you have served our country man yeah and that's something else it always breaks the church.
[00:20:49] Yeah what your thoughts on church and politics specifically when they talk about political race when it comes around why do you think the church is always so divided even you are a public in a Democrat I thought we would believe this person why do you think it's always an issue.
[00:21:01] I just feel like because I mean I feel like my personal view is this you know it's supposed to be the church spirit we are supposed to be the leaders but over time it has been digress and then it becomes like as far as politically like a debate which which I don't like getting through it because I just feel like it got to be relationship with God you know I'm saying God let God.
[00:21:29] God everything you know I'm saying because it's like I got to help people all the time if you if you said someone else and try to flip it you'll make it believe anything you know I'm saying so it's like tonight get lost in today's world because like even with church politics it's like you will get lost is so much information out there that you know you got you just you just got a trust in God you know I'm saying so that's what I take on that.

[00:22:19] I feel like we still building we we making some noise of course right now you know I'm saying I feel like these next couple of years are going to be very vital to where we are growth in the future you know sound of when it comes down to the artist what we put it out and you know how we moving but you know I'm saying in this space right now I feel like it's a whole lot of opportunity it's a whole lot of you know it's a whole lot of everything I feel like God is blessing.

[00:22:52] Do you think it's enough unity in hip hop especially when you talk about Christian hip hop I know you a part of one K family you might have different opportunities.
[00:22:59] In other other artists I'm just been honest because you connect in any other way maybe ain't fair but do you think that there's a lack of unity sometimes and CHH can talk about people collaborating with everybody.
[00:23:09] I feel like when people say unity they get a miscus crew like with just you know I think the word and the true meaning of unity is kind of messed up in this space because it's like just because I'm not walking with you every day that don't mean I'm not in tune with you that don't mean I'm not supporting you that don't mean I don't I don't like what you're doing or in other conversations I'm not saying your name.
[00:23:38] You know I'm saying but in the space right now if I'm not clicked up with you I'm not in unity with you and that ain't true that don't mean that just because I'm not you know pulling up everywhere you are that I'm not you know in unity with you like but we all have we're supposed to be having the same you know gold which is leading people to God leading people to Christ.

[00:30:28] if we be real with ourself and as we go through this list I think we've all can identify with something on this list
[00:30:34] and know that you know it's something that either we're in the midst of the struggle or we just flat out doing it let's be very
[00:30:40] quick because that's that's the way I gave things like all right when you talk about these things and we're talking about
[00:30:45] today we're talking about are you a lukewarm Christian that's what we were talking about today um you know when you talk
[00:30:50] about the transformation process when you talk about trying to be a new creation in Christ this thing is tough let's be
[00:30:59] very clear because I saw I say submission was one of the things I constantly was battling with all the time with God
[00:31:06] God would constantly show me you went cement to me son you know you supposed to be doing this I already showed you eight

[00:37:24] what does it mean to be sold out for Christ so when you talk about total devotion being sold out and on fire for Christ you need to be fully devoted to putting him at the center of your life
[00:37:36] and making decisions that align with what his principles are and walk in that and I think a lot of people they they run past that and then to your point guys when you talk about being a bow witness like
[00:37:52] we need to stop being watered down Christians we need to show that for Christ we live for Christ we die
[00:37:59] unafraid to share our faith unafraid to speak up when things are happening listen we do it all the time on the show again we ain't perfect but not ain't nobody gonna talk about our Lord and Savior
[00:38:10] Papa ain't nobody gonna be blasphemous and think it's going up creep by the fixed and y'all know yeah we we interview with a lot of artists entertainers athletes and in a lot of different spaces
[00:38:22] and again we're building relationships with them so now we can hold them accountable so when we ready to ask the tough questions we can ask them so yeah of course that's why we do a lot of the tough interviews we do here but no we are always bold witnesses for Jesus Christ
[00:38:36] so that means to be sold out at least in my book no we ain't running away from these hard conversations we definitely ain't going to die them so you minds will come on and yeah if you listen if you pull yours before I pull mine you go pray about but yeah just being sold out though that's what a lot of people argue about what is being sold out me
[00:38:54] sold me you know I am sold out my mind is my mind is made up I said people's name that song what they sold because that's what it means but it's almost like going to a food court and you know how you smell
[00:39:07] something good and you're like oh that smell good and then we got an affinity for Chinese food so if we ever go to food court and there's some something that's being fresh to chopped up or whatever we float that way
[00:39:16] chicken ain't fit or chicken ain't fit listen you float right on over there right and then it's almost like if I get over here and I'm like ooh what y'all sell the most of and I'm like I don't

[00:42:13] redeucation in God man I was fighting off all these demons I didn't even realize how many real demons I
[00:42:21] really was fighting until I really got into my word I already start praying for understanding and
[00:42:26] wisdom and really understand understanding how not only wisdom praying for wisdom but also discernment
[00:42:33] and how to move and especially when I started saying God you ordered my steps that spirit man start fighting me so
[00:42:41] much I was like I promise I just I just took with my wife I said it's voices in my head now I was
[00:42:50] son they they've never been there like I had never like second guess myself or even thought twice I
[00:42:57] was one if if I thought it I just did it I just react to it I didn't even think about the outcome
[00:43:02] or seriously I'm just being honest but once I got in my words are reading more study and more yeah God
[00:43:08] really showed me that when you talk about being a lukewarm Christian a lot of people are struggling
[00:43:15] this area because you have to put your personal desires and your comforts and pretty much to the side
[00:43:21] like you almost give them a back seat and you have to be willing to submit the God and listening here
[00:43:27] from God and not only listening here from God yeah but when you talk about it all the time when you
[00:43:32] talk about sacrificial living come on out of others serve others please how many of us are not serving others
[00:43:38] and that helps with the continuing growth when you talk about being on fire from God here from God
[00:43:46] being in purpose as well as participating in the community which is the local church your local
[00:43:53] community being a part of it all these things helped you to get out of and break that being that
[00:43:59] lukewarm Christian to being no no you not just a you know a hearer of the word but you actually a
[00:44:04] doer of the word so yeah I know at least I want to share that with the people because it blessed me
[00:44:09] and it got me out of that little funk to where I was you know all smelling myself as my my mama say
[00:44:16] oh you smelling yourself you think you you got it all figured out huh yeah good luck with that good
[00:44:21] luck with that yeah so yeah no no I love that I love that I I know people think it's hard
[00:44:32] doing the right thing when you start to get blessed by God and you see how God blesses you
[00:44:37] and protects you you'll just start to lean more toward the right thing but it's not natural
[00:44:42] from a human standpoint you have to have the Holy Ghost like he ain't you ain't gonna be out here just
[00:44:48] anyways I just wanted to bring that up that it does take an extra spirit for you to do the right
[00:44:55] thing and that's why we need God but let's talk about this lukewarmness if you made a Christian who
[00:45:01] don't do nothing outside of their lives nothing to you know show that they actually believe in God or
[00:45:09] they're further in the gospel or they're ministering or serving somewhere or you know encourage and
[00:45:14] people like if you have Christian quote-unquote friends and they'll have conversations and they never
[00:45:18] say anything holy or never anything uplifting or never share with you what God is doing in their
[00:45:23] life or question it because you should be sharing your faith with your friends your neighbors you know
[00:45:30] you guys should be having conversations you should be getting excited about God I get excited
[00:45:34] like we literally each week especially with us praying like we just start expecting God to do things
[00:45:39] we stay pregnant in the spirit on something you know just expecting God to deliver whatever that baby
[00:45:44] looks like later on you know like we should be living by faith you know and there just should be a power
[00:45:52] that rests in Christians like when we meet each other that's what a Bible says hey with two or three
[00:45:57] our God it's a problem I'm talking about healing deliverance calling things from down from heaven
[00:46:04] like I am there and them I'm there when God say it to three you are there I'm there what are we talking
[00:46:09] about now it's the party now we can really get something done so that's why I'm like it's important
[00:46:13] not to have a lukewarm Christian around you because you might really be needing somebody pray for you
[00:46:18] I can't count how many times I'm like oh God please pray for me like I walk and out on stage I mean
[00:46:22] a many a day of me just being shook with fear or I felt sick and I felt like oh my voice I'm losing
[00:46:28] my voice like I'll be like hey can you just yeah I'm talking in that net in that five minutes fan
[00:46:33] my life just turned around because there were people around me who were on fire for God and they
[00:46:38] just refused for the enemy to get any glory they're like God gonna get out of glory out this you understand
[00:46:42] what I'm saying so here we go so I'm like it benefits us to not be lukewarm and not just because
[00:46:51] you know not just because we shouldn't just be lukewarm Jesus said don't be lukewarm like
[00:46:59] like the one who died for your ascend do you think Jesus warmly got on the cross like he like I
[00:47:04] gotta do this you know what I gotta do this you know I'm saying like he didn't lukewarmly go to hell
[00:47:10] and take take the keys you know I'm saying like he didn't he didn't he didn't just do that
[00:47:14] like it was a whole conversation and so we we I don't know man we just gotta put some respect
[00:47:20] on what we get to do as Christians and how far God has brought us through and our life should be
[00:47:25] a reflection of his grace and we should be excited about God that's why I'm like I don't know I'm
[00:47:31] not I'm not down for a lukewarm Christian like I said we can't be friends that's fine you a
[00:47:34] I mean good you're Christian while I see you in heaven but on this earth I can't work with you
[00:47:40] if if you not all the way up concerning the things of God like I just even people now focus
[00:47:45] that we will run across in different circles and I listen I've told I've said some things before
[00:47:50] I'm like I can't do it they they not they're not up they're not all the way up they own something else
[00:47:56] which is weird to me because I'm like man I'll glory to God over here you know yes people talk about

[00:48:08] out here that people aren't addressing and you think God you think when Jesus was Roman that

[00:48:46] I've been struggling with that I'm going to get better this year at devil is alive and it's

[00:48:57] those things right those struggles right and turn those things around so it can be a new test of
[00:49:02] money for others I'm going to align my thought process with biblical principles wow I'm getting

[00:49:16] align your actions with biblical principles we need to seek God on a higher level need to understand
[00:49:23] that all of the teachings we have from Jesus Christ shouts out to the red letters in the bible
[00:49:30] will help you it will build you and listen all you need to do is have passion and dedication
[00:49:37] but change if you have that you got that passion and you dedicate the time to studying to reading
[00:49:44] to grow can't help do number change right can't do anything but help to change seriously because yeah
