[00:00:00] Hey hey, Conquest is Wave with the Fix Squad. The Fix is in. I'm Mr. Soul, I'm tuning in, but you're doing...
[00:00:32] But now that I've reached, we got a stick to the plan. Dog, that's what's inside of you. And then good news, I'm proof that it's living. Yeah, reviving it on the shot. Go, where you keep it? The reason to apply, don't miss it. Walk those to the city stand up. Chitching things left but the keys to rings here. No tears, no love, lost no rain here. The numbers I promised, centre reindeer. Love, love for the city still resides here. Fixing it, element, things that resides outside the lines. The touch of my, cos it matters art, art outside the box, you taste better. The Fix is in and we rock a channel, we rock a plan for what's needed. It's both those to talk, but don't live.
[00:01:02] Take a fist, take a fist, judge by the fruit from the tree. But it's the fruit tastes like the trees. And money is the fruit that they speak. So tell me who's face do they see? Repeat, take a fist, take a fist, judge by the fruit from the tree. But it's the fruit tastes like the trees. And money is the fruit that they see. So tell me who's face do they seek?
[00:01:19] Yes sir, turn your radios all the way back up. It's your boy DJ Focus checking in. Hey, you know, your girl dies gambling on the building happy happy winning Wednesday. It is hump day we are halfway through this thing. Hey, feeling good too. Yeah.
[00:01:36] Feeling good halfway through the thing. Man, when you talk about hump day, hump day, it's crucial.
[00:01:45] Yeah, actually like if you don't get it done a day, I don't even know if you, I don't even know if it matters anymore. I think if you don't get it done by Wednesday.
[00:01:53] I mean, because Thursday you really ain't focused no more because you know Thursday's in New Friday and Friday is just I'm not even here. I'm at home. Yeah, that's room.
[00:02:03] And I think too as well the break wise. If you think it like low, this is spending a stressful week. If I could just make it halfway through, I know I can't.
[00:02:10] Right, that's what everybody gives they all on Monday or Tuesday and Wednesday. It's like let me put a ball on that. I might send an email out on Thursday but anyway, we went in this Wednesday so I'm excited.
[00:02:23] We always went in our Wednesday. Shout out to everybody. Thank you all for waking up with us another blessed Wednesday. Let's pray that you took some time out and pray with your Lord and save it this morning. Oh God, how can you do it?
[00:02:35] I would hate, I would hate for you just to be so busy things of the world get to pray. Please lay hands on your babies to his way or lay hands on your houses and then make sure you're praying.
[00:02:48] And just you know, you never know. So yeah, you just just make sure you're praying and interceding them.
[00:02:53] Just making sure you're hearing from God clearly before you start your day because you know this spiritual warfare thing is real. So you never know what you're going to get when you go out into the world and deal with corporate America or whatever it may be, wherever you gotta go.
[00:03:07] Shout out to everybody. Shout out to the young teenagers too as well. Listen, I've been made up of where guys we got a little listener bass, you know, the wake up with us. Tell me what you're doing. I'm going to tell you something. What did you all hear?
[00:03:22] I closed last night. Oh, I hate doing that grown up. I'm going to make me do that. I can't wait. I'm just being honest. These kids don't aren't they close? They don't know how to use the iron dice. That's the whole thing. I am. I am. Yeah, yeah.
[00:03:44] Yeah, yeah. I love it. Yeah. Yeah. We appreciate you all the way up. And yeah, when I tell you, uh, listen, go out and be great today. Um, but listen, we got four hours and next four hours. You already know what it is. Entertainment. Yeah.
[00:04:00] We got real talk conversations. We got a little bit of everything. So don't touch that dial. We're going to this music. We're coming right back with more. Get this in your spirit. Shout out to a visual feature in a child like CC with that bus and right now.
[00:04:12] Keep it like you tune into the fix. And the fix is in. Yes, sir. That's that new Nicki Minaj featuring Tasha Cows Leonard and Lessen. Shout out to listen, Nicki and Tasha Cows. This is their second connection right here.
[00:04:28] When you talk about the second song they've done together. Uh-huh. We know, you know, Tasha has been working with Nicki. It's been about five, six years now because, yeah, I'm probably going to say. It's probably hanging out. I agree. And that's a good thing. Yeah.
[00:04:42] I'm so glad some secular fans got some saved people to hang out with. Okay, okay. Okay. And really the real spirit of God can really actually come off on them. I'm just saying, you know, it's a process. Again, but, you know, I'm grateful that somebody is, uh,
[00:04:58] Miller's stirring and being able to, you know, um, you know, do some things. So, uh, we appreciate y'all waking up with us. Thank y'all for rocking with us on this, uh, when I tell you this, uh, when
[00:05:09] Wednesday, we got a high shelf for y'all when I say, uh, listen, this real talk conversation. Dice, soft off the dice. So I'm, I'm a shine on my, my people's real quick. Real quick, real quick. We come up.
[00:05:21] So every week, uh, I'm gonna take y'all to our world for a second and shout out. I'm given everybody cheat code because y'all was already using it anyway. So I'm just saying. So, uh, yeah, you know, man dies. We go back and forth with these real talk topics.
[00:05:34] We do. We bounce them off each other like, you know, see, you know, she gets me more like. I mean, what like focus, what you think. I give her one of my dice, what you think.
[00:05:40] And I promise you, uh, it's amazing because I tell everybody, these are moments when we talk about these topics and we able to bring them on and have these real life discussions
[00:05:53] that I know God has his hand on the show because every single time we talk about something. I kind of, I kind of felt like, how no if we should talk about that but now I was thinking about this in the dice, broke it down to me.
[00:06:05] I'm like, no okay, let's go in dice because I see where you going with it. I see the vision. So already know, uh, we we got testimonies from the combo we had on Monday with the DNA testing. How that administered and that was just a blessing.
[00:06:20] And that was actually recommended by one of our faithful listeners and supporters to we being talk about that. So I wouldn't even expect that feedback back. But got tons of people emailed us and deemed this great conversation. So this one today already, no.
[00:06:34] I'm letting you know right now. This one is going to be different. So you know, get your Bible out because dice is going to challenge your perspectives on how you see things a little bit from this spiritual aspect as well as how you see the text.
[00:06:49] So that's what we talking about. Come on, tell the people. I did that intro so you're going ahead. No, listen, he laid it out. I thought you was going on in and I was like, go ahead. I'm going to sit down and let you preach right now because,
[00:07:02] no, we're going to talk about our enemies. Your foot stool. You know, this is something that especially in Christianity, we're quick to quote things to sound very Christian easy. You know, God make an amazing foot stool. I mean, you've heard this a thousand times.
[00:07:18] But is that what he said? It's at the full statement. You know what I'm saying? Like we often run with things. So we're just going to break that down today. I mean, and I'll be honest with you.
[00:07:31] It was I opened in the mean like I was sharing with you focus. That was in my study and I was like, you know, you know, God really show me what kind of how I've been spending time with you. Like am I interpreting you correctly?
[00:07:42] And so I just wanted to bring this one up because I'm like, I know for sure, a hundred percent sure people are not interpreting this scripture fully. You know what I'm saying? So, you know, some things are going on in your life. They, I don't know.
[00:07:56] They might not be a foot stool. So we don't, we're going to talk about it. Are you enemies your foot stool today? This is going to be a really, really good one. You might want to tax somebody and on this one.
[00:08:05] Take some notes and if you miss it, maybe you get to, you know, rewind it tomorrow. But you don't want to miss this. Yeah. It's good. This is really good. Yeah, it's going to be really good. And the spirit of detox going to be really good.
[00:08:18] Oh well, when I tell you, we got one of the vests. When you talk about a really being able to really put lyrics and bars together. And like, adding them down. I'm just saying, body, I don't know about these, just saying.
[00:08:33] Oh, minutes, boom, it got over money with me. He said, oh, Master Torfer will be joining us today. So yeah, exclusive spiritual detox combo. We go have with him and you don't want to miss that because Master's always spending knowledge.
[00:08:48] He's spending, he always spending bars to a restaurant. Yes, so you know, I know. I know. I know that it's going to be giving out to many of these things. I'm just saying. I'm a fan. I just feel like that. I grew up with wrestling.
[00:09:06] No, I grew up with, even when we were at the King of Choice Awards. I told Eljay, I said honey, I may be excited when I see one of these guys from minutes, but it don't mean nothing. I love wrestling.
[00:09:17] So I grew up at a time where they used to come to the Colosseum. You know, and that was, so it was like a, so when you meet somebody who they do what you do there in the genre,
[00:09:26] you end and there a part of what you watched growing up. I was like, this is impossible. Monster. Yeah, I'm a fan. Respect for the little. Yeah, no, no, we are. Yeah, shout out to our brothers. So we appreciate that.
[00:09:42] Of course, I know we got our faith and support. Shout out to our brothers, Justin Adams. You know, come on, guys, got that news in 90. I will have a lyrics for the mind where we talk about everything,
[00:09:53] mental health and when I tell you, I'll just need to strap up. Listen, this new news we got to as well. We got our gang of new music. So let's get back to some of this new music right now. Come on, let's get to it.

[00:11:42] And we back DJ Focus, Dice Campbell. Thank y'all for waking up with us another win in Wednesday. And I'm sorry to everybody you know, Love Jesus because we love Jesus on Wednesday. Wednesday is our day.
[00:11:55] We make sure we are here for the people who may not have a relationship with God or don't know if you were to go to sleep tonight or walk out that door and something happened to you. Well, do you know where you're going? Do you know?
[00:12:12] You should know by faith that I am going to a place of eternal peace. A place of yeah just all type of just glorious things up there. I can't wait to get up there. I'm more excited about the better arm again. I think I'm more excited about it.
[00:12:31] I've been waiting this late. You know, no, no, yeah. I've been waiting this late a demon Dice here. You ever had it just I knew you know, You know, it's weird. It's weird. It's weird. I feel like I've been seeing all my life. Really, really, really.
[00:12:45] Right now I like it's me and you. I'm hurt. But all seriously, we definitely always die. You know, we like to offer the prayer salvation for anybody. That's true. I was wondering to receive that today. So we are here for you. Yeah. And we love you.
[00:13:02] Yeah, I, you know, absolutely. We just want to love on the people dice. Restor. I love that we do this on a winning Wednesday. And like, focus was sharing with you. If you don't know where you would end up if your eyes didn't open anymore.
[00:13:18] If you're heart stopped, we want to know that you were going to be an arms to Jesus as soon as you close your eyes. And so even if you need to re-dedicate your life to Christ, it's always a good time to do it.
[00:13:29] You never have to wait to go to a service. You can always get really still ask God to forgive you for your sins. Remind God and I'm saying, we're mine. Because you have to let them know. Like, where I know you've been there for me.
[00:13:43] I know you want me through. I know you forgive me and my sins. I'm asking you to do that. And if you would please come into my heart. I want to do life with you. I want to walk with you. I want to live with you.
[00:13:54] And I don't ever want to be separated from you. So I just receive your spirit now. And I'm ready for the journey to begin. And you can pray that very simple prayer in Jesus' name. And just know that you are on the right path to, you know,
[00:14:11] fulfilling all the purpose that God has on your life. So I'd suggest even for those of you who've been a Christian for a while, just to re-build it. Like, where am I? Where am I? Have I fully dedicated? Is God really in my heart?
[00:14:27] So I really have the Holy Ghost living inside of me. Am I walking, you hand in hand with Christ every day? You know? And if I'm not, hey, you know, Lord searched my soul. You know? And let's just, you know, begin that process again. And there's nothing.
[00:14:43] Don't think, listen to the voice of the enemy. Because I really know people struggle with this one and where. Enemy is say, all you, you know, screw it up. You don't mess up. Wow, now you're going down to the altar five, six times.
[00:14:52] I don't care if it takes you 20 times. You know what I mean? It's just always good to be right the Lord. So I'm just, please. I'm praying for all of you who, you know, have come to the fold and get with a good Bible based church
[00:15:08] if not community. And then get around some good friends who are walking the same path as you in faith. So that you can grow. That's right. That's right. That's right. We need you to grow.
[00:15:22] And Jesus, you're going to be able to walk through this sanctification process by yourself, which You own. Oh, no. Oh, no. Yeah, that's that's important. But just listen, we go ahead. No, no, you, you tell me and I think it's important that people know that because
[00:15:38] I know a lot of people are against, you know, going to stop looking at it that way. Look at it as community of believers where we all grow together and we get better together and we show off God. That's right. That's right. That's what we do.
[00:15:53] Listen, coming up, our spiritual detox is coming up next hour so don't touch that now. We're going to get a listen, minutes movement, God over money, representative, master, to Harvard. We'll be, you know, chopping it up with us to a whale, but let's get back to this music
[00:16:09] why not? Keep it locked. You're tuning to the mix. And we are not hard to do. We are not hard to fight. Holy coach.net, for slash submissions. I'm Justin Adams and this is Dr. Diffick's Faith at Sports Report. The college football landscape has changed.
[00:16:29] No, it's not just about name, image and likeness or the transfer portal but the game has changed forever. Alabama Crimson Tidehead coach Nick Sabin, retired after the 2023 season, and in one of the greatest runs and coaching history. Let's just call it what it is. Sabin is the goat.
[00:16:46] In his 28 years as a college coach, he never finished a season below a 500-winner percentage meaning in 28 years he never had a losing season. Now, Sabin won a whole lot too as he won seven national championships. One of my favorite quotes from Nick Sabin is this.
[00:17:03] We're not going to talk about what we're going to accomplish. We're going to talk about how we're going to do it. No wonder he won 297 games. With the success of Nick Sabin, it's a great reminder of how our attitude should be towards work and our careers.
[00:17:20] Scripts or teaches us that we should truly give all every day with our work because one day we won't have the privilege of working anymore. A crazy ass these 910 tells us in the easy translation, use all your strength to do the work that you are doing.
[00:17:36] One day, you will die and you will go into your grave. Then you will not have any work or ideas or knowledge or wisdom. So do your work well while you are alive. Nick Sabin can't coach forever and we won't be able to work forever as well.
[00:17:53] So, as your favorite coach will tell you whatever you do always give your best or 110%. I'm Justin Adams and this is being a DeFix fake in sports support. Now back to DJ Focus at Dice Game.
[00:18:05] Welcome back, welcome back DJ Focus, Dice Game, but you tap back into the fix. Your source of fake infuse hip hop aren't being poetry. It's time for our spiritual detox and we got a special one for you all today.
[00:18:14] I'm excited because not only has he had a very successful professional wrestling career. He overheated during the NARS space now and we excited because he can actually rat. I know, you know, I know y'all think that's like easy thing to do but it's not when you're an athlete,
[00:18:31] entertainer, you know, and you try to come into the music ram. Because you even made it had a little notoriety over there don't mean it's going to correlate over here but no, that didn't hit his problem.
[00:18:41] He comes over here and he does it at a high, high level. Representing minutes movement, got over money. Don't want an only monster talk. Praise God. Thank you so much. Thank you for having me. It's 100 to be here.
[00:18:53] Man, listen, I've been watching the journey man and I'm excited for you because you do some powerful things, man. You got this new project out, man. So come on, catch the people up to date with this project that's out in the inspiration behind it.
[00:19:06] Yes, sir. I wouldn't just call it the war of art. 25 years in the making. Wow. Working on the job. You know, Jay Z said this first album took him his whole life to make. Right.
[00:19:15] So it's kind of the same thing and I just went through so much eyes and lows, hell and high water. Just to get to the point where I was able to have an opportunity with with dating and this old guy over money.
[00:19:26] God orchestrated that whole thing saw me through. It was makes it even more special. I got my son, my son with me here. I have to do half the album.
[00:19:35] So like having my son be a part of this journey with me and having been able to inherit this and move forward and take it further than I ever could. And I just made so much. So talk about just in general catches back up on speed.
[00:19:49] When when did you fall in love with hip-hop? What was that first hip-hop moment for you that even got you to even inspire you to even do music? Especially. I got it made. Oh my goodness. That was my favorite. My first ever favorite rapper is so funny man.
[00:20:04] I was like 7th grade and 13 to 14 was like 89 or something like that. Something like that. And I got it made. I heard that and I was I was in love. That was it. And then after that, I just learned all the words to the song.
[00:20:18] And then everything he put out. I just had to go buy every tape. A big appearance to buy me special ed tapes. And it was like special ed, me school. I said no, right? Not to the other bus. Not to the other bus. Not to the other bus.
[00:20:29] And he's a pioneer man and then from there. The daddy came. Was one of my earliest earliest favorite rappers. No half step. No half step. Keep it on. Keep it on. You got it. I was different back then. It was different back then. Man, I want you to.
[00:20:46] It was because it was more. It was more about partying more about fine more about community elevation. You know, there was a lot more. As far as like the black artists more uplifting, you know, the black community in their own way,
[00:20:57] you know, but at least that was the nerd where it's different to what it is now. But now hip hop is such a broad spectrum of an industry where people from all over the world,
[00:21:09] different cultures, different backgrounds now can partake in this in this culture and they can be a part of it, which I think is beautiful. I just asked that when people walk in a white defeat on the front door.
[00:21:20] And then take care of the furniture when you sit now. And everybody's well. No, no, break that down a little bit because that that that that that's a that's a bar that one over people's hands. Brick a elaborate little bit more on that statement.
[00:21:31] So I mean recently, Eminem is my favorite rapper. Well, and recently I've with the I know to that's a 1913 or so I was in 19 or not last year. So mellie man wanted to go to one of the one of the OGs and you know he said some statements,
[00:21:45] which has his opinion about Eminem. I felt about Eminem feeling that Eminem success came from him being white, not from him in the end of the skill. And so being in the beyond before that, Lord you are was another hip hop staple part brand newbie. Absolutely.
[00:22:00] He said share some of the same sentiments and then you know created the narrative of the house of hip hop, hip hop being a house and then certain people being who live there being you know,
[00:22:12] indigenous to the house and certain people being guest of house and referring to Eminem as being a guest because he's white. I disagree with that. A lot of people do something we'll agree with it, but the analogy that I gave is the idea that
[00:22:24] we can all come into the house of hip hop and live here just respect the people who set the table, who made the food that you're about to sit down at the table and eat from who watch those dishes
[00:22:34] you're about to eat off of, you know, who respect that and come in and it doesn't matter what color you are who you're where you're from, you know, respect coming and respected because hip hop has been a driving force of so many different mediums
[00:22:48] and entertainment and music and television is used to sell everything. And I remember going into pain in wrestling 2014 to see an hip hop all over Japan. You know, it was all over Tokyo. It was this beautiful thing and walking through the hip hop,
[00:23:05] the 50 years of hip hop, the enrollment and seeing it, I was in tears. Like, I just tell my son, I'm wiping tears off my face and I'm telling them to I do not
[00:23:13] big this is, I'm big of a deal this is because in our era we wanted to be on the radio that was, you know, that was we would, I would remember Friday nights 93 FM WCA K. That's the end of a wild poll. You gotta, you gotta get away.
[00:23:29] You gotta get away. Yeah, it's like a circle. Sorry, I'm a man and they would do, I came in with what DJ would do but every Friday night they would do a hip hop section and I would get a cassette tape and record it every single week.
[00:23:42] If you don't talk about them, TDK tapes, you're going back there? I'm going away back. What we had to do up on this one. Yeah, play all this one. Yep. And I just put the radio on it just hit record. Yes.
[00:23:53] And you just record, or every week I just record new every week and then fellow love with music videos and then, and your MTV rapson and rap city, the basement and just all the little things that video so. Video so. We better talk about Donnie.
[00:24:05] Donnie, donnie, he's Simpson. So, right? Yes. Oh my goodness. Like, but growing up, growing up, falling in love with hip hop, falling over the culture and not just hip hop but I was in love with having metal music, rock music, and different types of music.
[00:24:20] And I just, it made me the artist that I am today but then the most of the important part of that is my mother was a minister. And I grew up in church, my whole life and I remember, oh man, it's funny story.
[00:24:33] I remember buying red man, second album, red man, another one of my favorite artists of all time. One of the best rappers of all time to me. One of the greatest hip hop albums ever. There's a dark side, it's a secular rap song. I'm from there. Okay.
[00:24:45] I'm from there. There's a dark side. The entire album is a story. Red man was one of the first of not the first rapper to connect every single song with a hip and a story between songs so it flow seamlessly.
[00:24:57] And Kendrick just kind of became like the new generation version of that with a temperful butterfly and good kid, man, sitting like he was, you know, people were talking about I'm like, my red man did that 20 years ago.
[00:25:09] I love the Kendrick's doing that because people were doing that. And she, I never forget the story. I bought the tape and she saw the picture of the album cover. It was a picture of his head coming out of the ground and it was an homage to the
[00:25:20] song cover. They were like, I'm covered with old rock, rock, rock and she told me the one of her brothers used to play guitar and he listened to that music and it just kind of messed up about mentally so she took my tape. She ate it for me.
[00:25:30] I never rocked in a fight if we found it like a year. I found it like in one of her dressers or whatever. And continue to listen to it and even went further into different genres. We got him at hardcore, got in a horror core. Oh my goodness.
[00:25:43] I don't know what you know about horror core. I know about it. Wow. Yeah. I fell in love with horror core. I've won these days. But this is the journey 25 years of blood sweat, years, tears and highs and lows and
[00:25:57] got seen me and let me get off the wrong exit and then guide me back to the right one. Let me get off on the wrong exit guide me back to the right one. Here we are.
[00:26:06] This one you brought to the horror core because I was thinking of, what's the artist? The rap artist who kind of was did a lot of music with a lot of those musicians. I'm not a tech nine.
[00:26:15] Tech nine has done a lot of music with a lot of the rock. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, early on to his way and I don't know if you know another artist from the Bay Area brother Lynch. Oh my goodness. Seeds another seed.
[00:26:29] Listen, we give me your hip hop history right now. Now listen, let's be very clear. I'm not telling you how to go and listen to this music because that was a different era. You're too focused. We're kicking it with Master Tava. Don't touch that doubt.
[00:26:39] We're coming right back one more. Keep it locked. You tuned into the fix. Welcome back. Welcome back. DJ Focus still got Master Tava in the building with us. So come on, Master. I need you to talk a little bit more about show your unique sound.
[00:26:52] So it comes across. Gritty. Real. Yeah, we talk about with celebrating 15 years of hip hop. I'm beyond so if I didn't know you, I would think you were from Brooklyn. Like it comes across like that battle rap somewhere behind a nightclub and somebody
[00:27:11] called you out and you like, oh, you want some of this today? Okay. When the back. So talk about manual unique style. How it comes across that gritty hip hop freestyle type battle rap type essence.
[00:27:23] Sir, so I grew up here in Northeastern Ohio, grew up in Ken Ohio and from Cleveland originally. So if you know about Ohio, you know about the music scene, it's a melting pot of whatever's high. Thanks. We have, we haven't. The fuck is our original sound? Absolutely.
[00:27:38] Ohio players. Don't play those games with. All the bad things. Yeah, yeah. Ohio got this. You all know about that. And it was adopted by the West Coast. Yeah. I got into G-Fung.
[00:27:49] So growing up, I grew up on East Coast hip hop, you know, especially red men, Wu Tang clan. You know, and then later on big pun and then I heard him and them and just fell in love.
[00:27:59] And what I heard him and them, it was crazy me back in 99. My son was a baby. He was a hero and I was studying the slimshadie up. Yeah, we'll let you sit and listen to it.
[00:28:08] And I didn't realize how I wrapped and how big of a deal it was until I heard him and them doing the same thing, the multi-cylaballic patterns. Yes. And I'm like, wait, other people do this?
[00:28:19] And I heard big pun and I'm like, you know, other people do this? And I remember I was in the Battle Raps scene in Akron and like early 2000s. And with a, it's club called The Voodoo Lounge is no longer there.
[00:28:29] And I used to host a battle every Sunday night. It's a battle rap every Sunday night. The Voodoo night club. And North Akron, I was the future if you will. I'll be a mile and I would host it every night.
[00:28:39] And I would call a club, black slimshadie all the time. Who called me black slimshadie? Eminem Shivis signed you with 50 to 50 cent. But I would say my style is, the shout of 50 cent. But there's no people would say. Right.
[00:28:50] And my style is definitely a combination of Eminem, the big pun and Techn 9 and of course bonthos, bonthos and harmony. And I spent 20 something year 25 years perfecting the sound, trying different things, perfecting my voice recording and my living room sitting
[00:29:08] a ball night writing record and over and over and over and over. You're trying to find my voice learning. They don't professional public speaking training with other jobs, things like that and helping me learn how to unnotceyate and then how to really attack the syllables of each word.
[00:29:24] And when I was able to do that then speak clearly and then expand the patterns to me and able to try different patterns. And when I heard Techn 9 and like wow, he's literally like a human drum. He is a text, the different patterns and pockets of each beat.
[00:29:39] So as I learned that I realized, okay, my voice is different because I'm from that area where your voice had to be different where everybody now sounds like a auto 213 year old, which shouts out to him but they do. Auto 213 year old. That's the T-shirt.
[00:29:54] Maybe it's a shout out. Maybe it's a myself probably rolling shouts. Okay. That's right. But you know, I had some slight reservations, you know, upon the debut of the sound level, but I thought, you know what? I'm going to just sound different. I'm going to be different.
[00:30:08] And let's just hope the guy that people get it and people got it. Like his have a older, a grown like heavy asses. I have learned how to use it, how to manipulate it, how to be aggressive, how to
[00:30:20] manipulate the cadence, the pace, the timing of it, the volume of it and just, you know, and do a guy gave me a gift. No, you do a very good job on it. And it is grown. This is a hip hop album.
[00:30:32] So shout out to all our listeners. Let's talk about the up and come to general race because you brought up your son. Do you think there's a disconnect between some of the vets like yourself?
[00:30:42] And, you know, we got the business and the dates and we can go down the list. Did you think within CHH community? Is there a disconnect between some of you guys the vets between the up and common artists?
[00:30:52] I think there is a connection and there's a disconnection as well. But I think the connection is bigger because, you know, we're all under CHH. I do feel like there's a disconnect because there could be some more. I don't people always say you. There could be more unity.
[00:31:05] There's competitiveness because the space is expanding into the mainstream world. You know, things like St. Licensing, radio shows, TV shows, documentaries, whatever they're using Christian rap artists now because their music is just as good as the secular artists and it's safe. You don't have to worry about messaging.
[00:31:23] I think it's, and the sun I would just have an actually really, we have great conversations. And dating like column rap, neuro conversations. And we were listening to it, having on earth out. It's like math. We break down everything about hip hop.
[00:31:34] But, you know, the sun in that way, he makes really good points. And I love this about him because he's an old soul. So, you know, he produces and he makes, he produces and sound is almost like he grew up. Next to me in the 90s.
[00:31:45] But he's 23 years old. He can also do the same thing. If not better than every hot producer, the same sound that's doing now. But he can make beats of sound like Pete Rock might have made. It might have touched it or won't.
[00:31:56] The Egypt, the Mayor might have touched it. You know, and he made a good point. He said, you know, this is something that, I saw a total of Mr. Diabon. And I'm like, okay, I think his dope is not for me.
[00:32:05] But I think his dope, he said, well, someone who might listen to a low-ozey vert can listen to this instead. And I'm like, bingo, there it is. Because that was my mission when I finally, when I finally listened to God and got
[00:32:18] in the CHHG in 2009, I literally said, when I introduced my son to it, I said, I want if my superpower is going to be that I can rap and want to use it for good. It's right.
[00:32:26] And I want to make music that people can listen to that is comparable to the second music that they're used to listening to. But it's music, but I'm leading them down the right path.
[00:32:34] I'm doing what God wants me to do with it instead of a hoes and God with it, not even realizing the damage that I might be caused. And I remember 20 years ago when I first started recording, my music had language and custom things like that and playing it.
[00:32:49] My kids were babies. And my oldest, they kind of remembered but like when I look back on it now, I'm like, how did I ever do it? Like why did I ever do it?
[00:32:58] And I'm using language in the music that I wouldn't even say in my regular life. You know what I'm saying? Because I wouldn't even say in real life, I would say on these songs. And what do you think that's because that's the culture of the gangster rap news
[00:33:11] that was being portrayed then? You were trying to live up to that to get signed to the major? Absolutely. Absolutely. And even then, like I wasn't really against the rapper, I was more of a backpacker or like the church style in the middle of it. Oh yeah.
[00:33:23] Far side, come on up listen, listen, he gave me y'all. He gave me y'all. It backpack rapper. Y'all need to google that. I know somebody y'all like, what's the backpacker? Google that and far side. You know, the question's gone come up.
[00:33:33] You know I said, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, come on. The sound, the sound, you know, high I was very different. Like it was, I was different from all of my contemporaries. Back in 2001, I was signed to a label called First and St. Records, I don't act.
[00:33:47] Where do you think, where do you think, where are you in st. clothing? It was more of a G-funk kind of gangster rap sound. You know. And I was, and they signed me, I was completely different. I was more of a Eminem style, like lyrical battle rapper.
[00:34:00] And so I found that I was way different from everyone in around me. And even with Cleveland, like very different. And there were different artists who had that same gritty flow.
[00:34:10] But you know, Ohio has just kind of melts with whatever is poppin and Ohio has so much talent. It's incredible. But I just always knew that I believed in what I could do.
[00:34:21] And I knew that first of all, I told myself, I'll never, never, never let anybody tell me that, you know, I'm too old to do anything. They don't get old. That's nothing. I always say, don't, doesn't get old.
[00:34:33] And secondly, I do, I, I, I do, I listen to my own. I acknowledge it. Forgive me. Pray for me. So I agree with that to a certain extent if you still can't compete and you silently sound good. Oh, no. Oh, yes.
[00:34:48] Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. Because we don't get a sub, something's a data that people are putting out right now. And I'm praying for you. I don't stop putting that out in the bagel bias. I'm not getting into the law. No, it stops in the tummy.
[00:34:58] But that's all I like. They be sitting into us. I'm not playing it. Because I was going to let you know. I promise you, I got to be honest. Yeah. We do music review. Listen, I'm going to, I curate too much music to be dishonest with you.
[00:35:10] And I'm going to tell you, listen, this might be something you can play in the local church. Yep. Yeah. I can't play it on a national platform. My ratings are going to go down. I'm sorry. They don't land up. I'm sorry. I'm sorry.
[00:35:23] We've all been through the well being confronted with that. And I love that I have my son, because he's kind of a conscious for me that connects me to the modern generation. Right? And you need that. I need it. I need him more than he knows.
[00:35:39] You know, I'm saying so. But we work together. He's so important to this because he's such an anomaly because he has such a feel for classic hip hop. And, but he's connected. He's a part of this new generation.
[00:35:53] And like when they get a, when they really really get a load of what this guy can do. When they, wow, he's there's another really big album that he produced most of it. Just just wait. I'm not going to tell you who's it is. Okay. Yeah.
[00:36:06] Well, I can't wait for that one to drop and I can't wait for nothing more. But once the new two is well, he's going to keep you young too. Yeah. Because you need to be relevant and he may make sure pop get that Grammy wouldn't do as well.
[00:36:15] You know, you're going to be very clear. And that's a family win and legacy. So I'm speaking that over y'all already in Jesus name, but that's going to happen. Listen, my, I appreciate you coming through kicking away me man. I got to get you back home, but man.
[00:36:27] Listen, tell the people how they connect with you. Follow you know, you're such me at platforms. And please introduce your latest single. Absolutely well. So this is the half man half monster. Tarver the geo and minutes. God over money, minutes movement.

[00:37:08] You tune it to the fix. You know, the fix is in. You can start to say articles, devils and more. Stay connected get the app now, you know what I'm saying? Visit holykulture.net Yes sir. That's that new Korean Hawthorne. Cut them off. Shout out to Korean Hawthorne.
[00:37:24] That's a little sissy. Listen, we call her the queen of urban gospel. And that home guy project getting ready to drop real real soft. You already know that thing about to be certified plus.
[00:37:38] and yeah, Shazata's career too as well. She will be performing at the NBA Gospel All-Star Celebration going down in Indianapolis all roads lead to Indianapolis next month. All-Star weekend in the All-Star weekend is yeah, but leave it's February 15th 2018. But the NBA Gospel All-Star
[00:38:00] Celebration will be going down Shazata to my people's over there. That's family over there. So again, looking forward to her performing and of, could I take Gavin will be performing at the NBA Gospel All-Star Celebration? Okay. And a lot of other great amazing gospel singers,
[00:38:17] so Shazata looking forward to seeing Korean in person again like we always do in Chopin at where she's always. She's like, oh, it's a family. She's funny. Listen, Korean, if you listen to, listen, listen. I need you to ship some pizza cobblestone,
[00:38:31] Lord knows, Shazata Korean. If you all know, Korean got all these pizza cobblestone factories in Louisiana, you know, and she got all these different flavors. Come on, man. Strawberry, strawberry cobblestone and CT-Pennyoblane apple apple apple apple apple apple. Yeah, she got all the cobblestone
[00:38:48] like that. I just need to start running around the block now because I just know when I see this Oh, you're not. You're not. We might not see her again for a minute. It might be summertime at the
[00:39:01] sellers for we see her again. I got about five months, so I'm gonna get that one right there. I feel that. Shout out to her. I feel that. What's going on? What's today? National what
[00:39:11] day? Yeah, you know, tell a you bootleg is out there who, you know, in the jailhouse, making your wine inside of the coffee maker, not that I don't know anything about that.
[00:39:22] Today's national bootleg day. So if those of you who are like, what does that mean? You know, and why are we talking about it? Well, in the 1800s, this term became very popular because
[00:39:35] we used to conceal not me, but people before us used to conceal liquor in flask inside of a boot turns out that's why you were called a bootlegger. That's how the liquor was traded with native
[00:39:48] Americans, and that's where the term bootlegger came from. However, obviously people feel like we need to be celebrating this day. So we're celebrating. That's because they still do it. That's not much. Obviously. Yeah, but you think they still are. This was 90. What class?
[00:40:08] Flask. Well, they still make, they still make flask. We know they still make them things. But no, and they sneak in a mint today. Concerts and these little events. So they're going to pay
[00:40:19] search yards for the use expensive doubles in the spot. It's a lot. I think they still bootleg in. Well, you know what? It's funny because liquor was prohibited in 1920. Was it why? Yeah. People were just doing so. It's too insolent. No, I just think in order to control
[00:40:38] them money. Wait a minute. Wait a minute. Wait a minute. You think it's too insolent? Oh, hey, it's 20. It's still doing that guy. So you tell me it's illegal now to that? Well,
[00:40:51] I mean, it's funny that for like 10 silent years for sure. It was absolutely illegal. So people literally were making a bathtub gym for those of you who've heard that terminology, that's just where during the prohibition era, people would put grain alcohol and stuff and they
[00:41:08] bathed up at the house and just, you know, they sell. So look at like, like, they people were not giving up on drinking. However, it's been a drinking and I'm not blaming
[00:41:17] Jesus. I'm just saying. Some happen in an era, but he's like now we still on board. We're still on board. We'll make it at the house in the bathtub where everybody bathed. I don't know. But
[00:41:30] yeah, so today's that day for those of you who do drink, you know, prayerfully, you know, whatever you're doing is safe. Maybe you just celebrate in a birthday or something like that because it can be,
[00:41:43] you know, you can destroy you. Yeah, but today's your day. So go take a picture of National Boot Lakers. I hope you all end bootleking. I really hope nobody's doing this. And I'm sorry guys, don't take a fidgety because some of y'all might be exposed, so don't don't
[00:41:58] set yourself up the fail. Now I agree with you guys. I pray y'all drink me to having a look in your new. Responsibly. Yeah, yeah, absolutely. You know, you might be feeling a little
[00:42:12] woozy. So I don't know if that's what the law says in the scripture when he says, right, I just want to put that in somebody's bed, you know, yeah, my right. Yeah, yeah, that's a scripture that's a little down in and
[00:42:29] acts for a lot of wrestling. What are you? What are you water? That's a water pool. Yeah, you're responsible and anybody who is really sick and all seriously struggling with any form
[00:42:42] of substance abuse, listen, please get the help you need. You don't want to take it for granted. The somebody might be listening to us at that, you know, yeah, let's be very clear. You are
[00:42:50] struggling with with some form of alcoholism. Please get the help you need because, you know, we don't want you to continue to be, you know, hurting yourself, hurting your family,
[00:42:59] hurting your body. It's a lot of things to go on that. It helps you to be available always. You can definitely call it 1-800-662-4357 if you need some help. It's confidential. I get it. It's a place
[00:43:11] where you can call and get some public assistance on substance abuse and things like that. I'm glad you brought that up, focus 8662-4357 but I mean, trust me, you're speaking not speaking but you hear from a reformed alcoholic. I used to be at the liquor store 1030. I remember
[00:43:28] that there were 10, well yeah, you too. Like I was just there when they opened. Like it's like like this is what we're doing right now. Because we would go, we would go to the state store
[00:43:41] the do the store and talk up. So yeah, yeah, yeah, we had enough for two weeks. Yeah, we go every two weeks because we had, you know. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, I wrote a rock, I had a gemmy of a
[00:43:54] four-world, I mean, a gemmy Chevrolet gemmy and yeah, I had a cooler, I think, since back fifth liquor in my mind, I had to drive and drive in water and you wouldn't think that is
[00:44:12] jack enough. Oh, it'd be pretty PSOP. Yeah, it was good that black and mild right in the unit time. Yeah, that's a really slow thing. Yeah, that's better than what's on the time
[00:44:26] and what to the other side. I hope none of y'all ever know. No, I remember that growing up though people would just get in the car with a drink. It was a vibe. It was not a thing but you know what
[00:44:37] it's a dangerous don't do it. Okay, okay, that's why we have Uber and Lens. You got the reason? So if you're gonna celebrate this bootleg of day today, Uber and Lifts your way home, period. All right. Absolutely. All right, coming up, we have our real talk conversation so
[00:44:54] we're ready guys going to take you out of the church. We've gotta go through this quick break. We come and write back a book and we back DJ Focus, Dice Gamble. It's time to get really neat streets
[00:45:04] Dice and I don't know. They might get upset at you today, Dice, but I'm okay with it. I need them to be upset because we need to grow in the new year, we need to grow, we need to grow, we need to grow.
[00:45:16] What's that real talk today for them, Dice? Hey, are your enemies your footstool? Yeah, are your enemies your footstool? Everybody has enemies. We all have enemies. You know, we have the enemy which is Satan himself. The deceiver, the liar, the one who comes to you,
[00:45:34] kills still and destroys, but your regular daily enemies are they truly your footstool? And if you're still dealing with them, why are you still dealing with them? And the reason why I definitely wanted
[00:45:51] to bring this up focus, I appreciate you agreeing to it is in my studies of enemies because top of the year I'm trying to figure out where you're at because I want to make sure I see y'all clearly.
[00:46:00] I want to make sure I know my enemies, you know, we got this thing keep the enemies close. You know, it's like, well, yeah, you know, I'm saying if I know you then I know how to deal with you. If
[00:46:11] I know your behavior, I know how to recognize when you're there. You know, if I know your patterns and your history, I know how to dodge you or I know how to, you know, I'm saying, I know how to make
[00:46:20] sure I don't interact with you. You know, we're supposed to resist the devil so he will flee. And a lot of times we do try to fight our enemies. I don't know why people do that. I don't have
[00:46:31] time. I'm busy, you know, running with Jesus. So I just wanted to have a refresher on who are my enemies and what are my enemies and where are my enemies? And some the hundred tenthsome says the Lord says
[00:46:49] to my Lord. This is a Psalm of David. Sit at my right hand until I make your enemies a footstool for your feet. The Lord will extend your mighty septor from Zion. You will rule in the midst of your
[00:47:03] enemies. Okay, so I wanted to really say, we made some what you call it in New Year's resolution. So I'm focused on, you know, God being in my life and me grueling this year, 2024. In the midst of
[00:47:20] my enemies. So this verse lets us know your enemies ain't going nowhere. And I go nowhere. But I think a lot of people think that and we've been using and God will make your enemies your footstool. Like,
[00:47:31] I can't count how many times I've heard that quoted in a prayer behind the pool pit for encouragement. When people say, you know, I'm really going through. Can you just encourage me? What you got to wear?
[00:47:43] It's like, God, I made your enemies your footstool. But I wanted us to look at the first part of that verse. Sit at my right hand until I make your enemies a footstool. So there is a requirement of us
[00:47:59] to take a seat on my right hand. So, biblically we know that right hand means in right standing and righteousness on the right hand of the Father where we're thinking we were doing the right
[00:48:12] things. You are lined with me, my ideas, my thoughts that's the theological explanation of sitting at the right hand of the Father. Okay? You're in the best spot. You are my child. You are blessed
[00:48:28] over here. But I just wanted to bring this up. I think last year a lot of people might have been fighting your enemies and that's why they're not under your feet. Because you've been fighting
[00:48:37] them. You've been doing whatever you want to do. You think you know the way and God is literally saying have a seat in his heart for people. Let me shaking your head. Let me just say
[00:48:48] because it's nice. Let me help you. Let me help you. Go help me. Come on up here. Come on up here. I will give free. It is hard to at times trust that God will ultimately like take care of your adversaries. Like that's tough, dice. You know why
[00:49:10] why is it tough to trust the God will take care of you? I have a serious focus. Because at times I'll be totally transparent. We're not operating with our spiritual senses. We're operating in our natural senses. Let's be very clear. Listen, for most of us dice,
[00:49:28] you grow up, you deal with, you know people, you know, slander in your name, backbiting your name, people bullying on you for people that went through school and you know, you always had people
[00:49:39] that might, you know somebody older or somebody tried to bully on you. You know if you, if you were a group in the inner city, people trying to steal stuff from you, your clothes, your shoes,
[00:49:49] your cold. So it's always you got to protect yourself. You got to guard yourself. You got to be a attention. You got to make sure you stand up for yourself so that way the bully don't keep
[00:50:00] bullying on you if you continue to let him push you around or say these bad things to you. So from a mental standpoint, dice the conditioning allowing for our spiritual senses to kick in and say,
[00:50:14] no, this battle is not minus the Lord. This is a spiritual attack. This person is coming at me because it's a spiritual attack. If you don't continue to feed your spirit man and stay in
[00:50:25] tune with that, you will drop the mark. You go say, you know what? As they say, I got time to date. I've been waiting to suck upon you. I've been waiting for you and you been taking me off all
[00:50:35] week. I've been trying to be cool. I've been trying to turn the other cheek. I've been trying but I'm frustrated. I'm frustrated. So I just said for me at times, I can see why somebody
[00:50:45] maybe does not say, you know what, let the Lord fight my battle. No, no, I'm gonna stand up for myself today. I'm fighting this one. So I get it. Am I saying this right? No, I'm not saying
[00:50:55] this right to your point, that absolutely the right way to do it is what you're talking about, but I'm gonna be real and be transparent. Everybody ain't there yet. Well, um, all I'm saying is when you put yourself in that seat, when you sat down right there
[00:51:18] on the right hand side of God, you're on the throne. Right. Wait, wait, God. You're sitting in a position of authority. You're resting in his will and being in that holy place is what allows
[00:51:35] God to do the work of putting your enemies under your feet. He's saying, have a seat, rest your worries and your care. And guess what? A footstool for those of you who
[00:51:48] ain't in the 2020, or it's the Ottoman, you know how good it feels when you sit in that chair and somebody I got these seats where you could push the button and then the Ottoman just come
[00:51:59] about out from underneath the couch. It changes. What do you mean? What do you mean? What do you mean? What do you mean? What do you mean? What do you mean? What do you mean? What do you mean?
[00:52:05] You tell me, my enemies will make me more comfortable. What? My enemies will give me more rest. My enemies will help my blood circulation come back to my heart and give me more oxygen.
[00:52:19] My enemies will be they go ahead to bend over and just rest and be still like if we sit down and let God make our enemies are flutts to he's saying just take a seat, have a rest. He's saying
[00:52:32] I'm gonna make you real comfortable right now. So you don't watch this movie. So you're going to like the movie of your life play out and they didn't even get to watch it. They're going to have
[00:52:40] to sit there and hold your feet up and be still. And so, and this is crazy because the scripture and it's like I said, some of David, this is even pertaining to the battle. So God is saying in the
[00:52:52] midst of the fight, it's not just I'll do it because they out here hating and trolling on the internet in the midst of war, I'm gonna have you sit over here and just chill out. And if you'll do that,
[00:53:05] then I can do the work. But I'm saying we got to stop quoting the scripture on some tired of it. I got irritated with myself reading it again studying. I was like, I have such an idiot.
[00:53:15] Like I often quote that scripture like I'm putting a curse or a hex on people saying, oh, you're going to be my husband's going to go, you're going to go, you're going to go,
[00:53:23] and it's like I sat down nowhere and let God do the work. I'm to your point, focus physically trying to ensure that I protect myself or fight and make sure my enemies will be
[00:53:32] my foot still. You know what I'm saying? It's sad because we have this motivation and men have this complex way worse than women do. It's competition. And that's okay to be competitive on my
[00:53:44] athlete. But I'm saying if you're my enemy and I know that you're trying to come from me, it's just going to make me work harder. But this scripture is going the total opposite of
[00:53:54] our human thought. I gotta go harder. I gotta go, I gotta go, I gotta do it first. I gotta do it better. I gotta get more money. I gotta build a bigger and some 110 first versus sand. I want you
[00:54:07] to sit down right here. Sit out over here. It would just give me a second to do the work. And when I do the work, they can't even get up because you're going to be chilling. Lay it out, lay it back,
[00:54:19] reclining as they are, you know, taking care of you. But it's like we can't even comprehend it. It's like we almost think we're not worthy enough to deserve God's blessing of making our enemy pay
[00:54:33] for the rest of our life. It's like if you will just let me do it, I'll do it as what God says. But we often want to people with that mantle and be like, no God, I got it. I'm gonna be
[00:54:42] God today. It's like, okay, you go, you go, you go, be God's son and it come back and let me know when you time here because I get about two weeks and you go be exhausted. And then when you get back,
[00:54:51] I'm still going to do it but you're still going to have to be right and we could talk about that when we come back. So I know I'm a rolling like we can't skip past that right hand factor.
[00:55:00] You know, you can just be out here nearly really doing all the wrong things thinking God about to make your enemy's your fist still. That ain't it. We're victorious for Christ Jesus.
[00:55:12] I think that's what we need to do. And we get you listen, you all see what we talk about today. We are your enemies. You're still going to go to a break. We'd be right back or more. Keep it
[00:55:22] long. You tune into the fix and the fix is in. Welcome back. Welcome back DJ focused dice gamble in the middle of this real talk conversation and you're taking the church today dice talking about
[00:55:39] get right. Make sure that get right church and stay home and get they understand of how to break down the text a little bit better. Just a little bit better. And you've been blessing me to
[00:55:50] as well because before you even brought this topic up again, I know I'm guilty of it not allowing for the Lord to fight my battles every single time. Wow that's one of those things where we got a
[00:56:03] concept to talk about because I think you know I don't know if I ever go meet that Mark. I want to meet it. I'm beyond it's what you but I think it's because it's hard as a man. It's
[00:56:14] we live in a word and I get it not everybody like no one ain't but it is as a man absolutely how God wired us and I always wonder like God why did you wires this way? Do you wire
[00:56:26] us to be go get us motivated motivational people like competitive like in nature like it just run through my veins. So it's like with somebody I feel like somebody is doing some wrong to me.
[00:56:41] My first thing is to defend myself and I feel like God why are this that way but it's like no no you know I need to fight your battles for you. You don't need to fight those battles for you unless
[00:56:52] you know somebody is you know of course scriptures and we have scriptures to back up if you need to defend your family and somebody's in danger but a lot of times ain't danger that's stuff that
[00:57:01] I probably just being petty I can walk away from but I'm being petty so I can get free. Shout out to all the petty men I feel like need they want to get free this morning thank God
[00:57:10] for rocking with us and listen to it because I think it's real we don't have enough of these real talk conversations and just allowing for us to really be totally real about where we are right now.
[00:57:23] Again that's the transformation process we talk about Roman 12 and 2 definitely not being conformed to this world but yeah I'm not being conformed I'm just being staying the obvious I am still being let's listen the process is constantly every day when you talked about sanctification
[00:57:41] it's like being raised to this real and I thank God that he has grace and mercy from you but I know you're going to break this thing down a few a little bit more on enemies being our footstool.
[00:57:51] Yeah and honestly that's just what we're talking about today right is the our your enemies your footstool because it's easy to say that and then you see your enemies popping up and still running around controlling stuff or or coming for you or taking advantage of you but
[00:58:08] you know God is promised to provide us with protection and shelter all these things especially you know when you're under attack so that's that you know 110th songs first verse like
[00:58:22] we've got to say I need you to sit at my right hand until I make your enemies your footstool so I wanted to make sure we brought up what does that mean right hand is right standing right in the right
[00:58:34] way you know James one at 12 says blessed is the man who remains steadfast under trial for when he stood the test he will also receive the crown of life but it's like we're called to
[00:58:46] be still you know and know that God is God you know 20th or so he leaves me down to pat the righteousness for his name say you know I'm saying you know all this I will feel no even when I'm with God but it's
[00:58:57] like we have to be right with God you know you and his thing for those of you who are in Christ you know it's a different piece that comes when you know you right in Christ it is so funny
[00:59:12] it just it no matter what's happening around you or what fooler you can see or if people are calling you or you just like it could be a bad doctor's report and when you know you right
[00:59:23] it's just like nothing bothers you nothing moves you because you like I know I know I'm right right now like I may have been wrong yesterday but I know I'm in sat with the Lord I'm prayed I
[00:59:33] had a release did I don't ask for forgiveness I know I heard God say to do a B and C so whatever you tell me right now it don't even bother me because I know God is the one who was about to handle my
[00:59:44] enemies for me I have released him to operate in his full power and that's what we have to do that's why the Lord says hey yeah sit in my hand I'll make your enemies your foot stool so it's like
[00:59:57] God is not just going to wipe all of our enemies off the planet he uses them you know he tests us with them you know saying come on now yeah yeah and because what the test is for our benefit
[01:00:13] the test is to grow us the test is to show us like yeah and this is why I'm God and this is why you should walk this way you know I'm saying like everybody has a purpose on this earth and
[01:00:24] let's be honest we don't talk about this enough in charge everybody ain't going to have it okay everybody not going some people were sent here some people are on assignment to throw you off
[01:00:32] of what you're supposed to be doing we have work is of a niquity here like like so yeah everybody ain't going so just saying you keep on trying to save a person all the time some people are
[01:00:43] literally put here to test you that is it and it's crazy because it's like the only way you gonna know if they're sent to test you is to be right with God because you know no but as soon
[01:00:54] as you like take step back like okay lower show me what you talk about you like say right here babe just sit right on here my fact prop your feet up so I can show you you know I'm going
[01:01:04] to get some popcorn so we can go hand watch this just watch this watch this watch this watch this like like so it's like when we learn that posture we're the one sitting in that seat of power
[01:01:15] and that seat next to God and I'll be really with you there is no safer place to being right there next to God no safer place so yeah you can go out there and try to get your enemies thrown off if you
[01:01:24] want to you know good luck good luck with that but that's not how that works you know I'm sitting here I've got I'm sitting here in the midst of the conversation and the Holy Spirit just told me
[01:01:36] listen put some on your prayer list and my new prayer is to literally I think he is telling me to start praying for me to be able to respond to my enemies with kindness and love
[01:01:53] and yeah that's that's gonna be on my new topic my new prayer list because you talk about you know overcoming evil with good yeah that's a constant fight again I must speak from a male perspective that is rough but that's not a new prayer I'm putting that
[01:02:08] on my new prayer list just to help me to respond to my enemies with kindness and love even when I don't want to I love that prayer my mouth I help you move away yeah my mouth I'm not there
[01:02:18] shut my mouth at the end of that prayer make sure you use Matthew 5 5 5 5 5 4 4 4 10 9 4 5 1 but I say to you love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you so
[01:02:29] you may be the sons of the father who is in heaven yeah for he who makes his son rise on the evil and on good and since rain he says the rain on the just and the unjust but it's like we are just
[01:02:41] called to love and we're called to pray so I was suggest that yeah I want that comfortable seat next to God where I'm just going I'm a love you from afar and I'm gonna pray and let
[01:02:53] God handle you and so it's like we've been given the key to the kingdom it's just to your point our pride sometimes our irritation our impatience our want to have the things we want or even
[01:03:06] sometimes our our want to just have the things God has shown us but in the wrong time it sometimes that causes us to try to handle our enemies on our own but I'm just saying like we
[01:03:16] suppose love our our neighbor you don't you know and sometimes your neighbor is your enemy unfortunate makes you know my lord I mean I've got even neighbors now we're missing
[01:03:26] I've been I've lived that before shout out I don't have it no more but yeah I can go about 16 years back and I promise you I thought he was the seed of Chuckie or something like next
[01:03:37] 15 months in lord help me to eat a check the story of Chuckie lived next door to me this young boy gonna make me go to jail I'm a catcher all type of cases it's a lord help me but yes yes so I've been
[01:03:49] I've been and one of those situations listen I also you know let's not run from it let's go back to our old faithful scruncher of feces six and twelve because we know what it is it's spiritual warfare
[01:04:01] all day for our struggle it's not against flesh and blood but against rulers against authorities and gets powers of this dark world so continue to understand that it's a spiritual fight look past
[01:04:12] the person sometimes again I can't stress enough you looking at whoever it might be it might be your mom and might be your cousin might be your baby you know your baby girl your baby your son it
[01:04:22] you know look past that and sometimes notice the spiritual fight yeah and I think that leaves us too you know the last thing just saying just to go back and to that personal reflection and prayer
[01:04:33] make sure that you are understanding that listen the challenges you face which are enemies you need to continue to seek guidance in it you need to pray about it and pray to God for wisdom
[01:04:44] pray to God for grace and continue to stand your work and like they say allow for the Lord to be Lord let the Lord fight your battles you got the power of authority you sitting at the right
[01:04:57] hand just sit there and chill out yeah it can be hard but it's possible you know all things are possible God and I'll be real with you life is complicated but it's always way better
[01:05:08] with God and following the Lord's command so you know I'm encouraged today but I hope somebody else is too and like I said there are so many writings you know that are in our end the Bible that sometimes
[01:05:23] I think we have misinterpreted them or we just try to take that first part and not that second part and so this was one I was like you know so I said God had had to deal with me on it and I was like
[01:05:33] man God I'm really not coming for any of my enemies but thank you for the reminder because typically you get the word before you get the test you know and if you are anywhere in ministry
[01:05:43] you know God will reveal it to you first and then the test typically comes and then you're like oh either you gonna remember you know you know you know your homework or you not so I was like okay
[01:05:54] God you trying to tell me ahead of time you know yeah going to sit down take a seat yeah I got this so I just wanted to you know make sure we talk talked about that journey to be right and right stand
[01:06:05] with God God I hear you trying to fight for you and you just wrong yeah that's it I mean we had grace and mercy the other day this thing we talked about grace and mercy today today we talked
[01:06:15] about you being right in a loud God to fight yeah please do listen that's our real thought topic we got to go to a break we coming back with more keep it locked you tune into the fix
[01:06:24] and the fix is in yeah shout out to our brother Karen the light when I tell you uh man we in a good place you know you know forgive a music we got a Karen the light kid Leon there you know
[01:06:42] I'm saying a little bit of everybody so it's it's just bar heavy and 2024 I don't think nobody led up the gas dice we was just talking about the song that Karen and light was featured on with
[01:06:54] the James Joy track from site and yeah yeah yeah you know definitely put him back in rotation something his music so yeah I'm excited I'm excited for 2024 everything is bringing and I'm just excited for all these lyrical bars better well it's a situation now yeah they're
[01:07:21] I think they've risen to the top you know like they they were just chilling I think they were just trying to be polite and I think they finally have been released you know I felt that
[01:07:30] two years ago when we were at the kingdom choice awards and then I actually I felt that it probably like in 2020 that people were just now getting an optimal people in the CHH um you know
[01:07:42] genre like it's okay for me to just go hard for cracks yes it's okay I think everybody have been holding back respectfully I don't know why maybe trying not to offend people but I
[01:07:52] think everybody's over that now everybody's over I think everybody's like yeah now it's just time to go so this year's gonna be insane we've already gotten tons of email so much music I know

[01:12:00] somebody's bars and help you mental health process yo what's good family support DJ focus checking back in here with your dose of lyrics for the mind where lyrics defeat mental health today we dive into kb's drowning trap let us track is more than just beats and rhymes
[01:12:18] it's a journey through mental health struggles that many of us can relate to let's break down these bars real quick kb says to town early called in life a trap from the start
[01:12:29] mental health can indeed feel like a real illist trap did you know that mental health conditions affect one to five adults in the US alone now kb asks everybody you don't trust lies do you
[01:12:42] then why did you trust your own heart mental health challenges often involved battling our own thoughts and this crazy how our minds can be a trap sometimes you want to trust yourself but it's not always easy
[01:12:56] kb reflects on the struggles at 15 not one in the live it's a wrong real deal did you know that suicide is a second leading cost of death among individuals age 10 to 34 kb's lyrics resonate with the pain of feeling alone he talks about finding distractions but not true
[01:13:17] happiness mental health is complex and it's not okay to be okay if you need help it's okay to reach out kb course is a desperate cry of a help don't let me drown throw the raft he's reaching out for
[01:13:32] help did you know that reaching out to someone can make a significant difference in their mental health journey this is a journey that we can't do alone so if you know somebody struggling in an
[01:13:44] area listen family do you do damages to reach out to them and at least offer to try that get them a different perspective on trying to possibly get the help that they need this is kb encourages us to let
[01:13:56] guide become the head of our life mental health struggles are tough but there's hope we have a Lord and Savior that can see us through at all listen this is lyrics for the mind turning lyrics into
[01:14:08] life lessons stay tuned and remember you never alone family shout shout to our brother dkkk that's the kg Kai and mouth menic listen when you get to trade and you get counted the
[01:14:21] connect that's what you get you get a whole demon demon killer situation with the West Coast little you know saying stop on the devil head I like that shout shout to that collaboration
[01:14:32] we appreciate y'all rocking with us another blessed day when and when it's day and listen we got a salute to one of the legends in a broadcast and in TV and media don't we dice yeah we do you know
[01:14:44] what yesterday radio icon Donnie Simpson the legend the man the myth himself missed a personality you know he had his last show so he ended his career 55 years being on the air
[01:15:01] with the message on his ex accounts and a less celebrated together as I thank each and every one of you for supporting me during my 55 years in radio and it's crazy because Donnie Simpson was one of the
[01:15:15] first American video jackies for like BT BT's video so you know man I mean he's been recognizing the board magazine I mean he's been on stations all over the world it just it's crazy because
[01:15:34] I don't think he got any older for me it looked like he was like the same age when he started never I know Tim from being like the dindell Washington looking with the green eyes but
[01:15:43] he's been honored on the BT walk of fame this man has just shook up the game with this beautiful beautiful voice and I don't know man shout out to you Donnie for 55 years ago and hard for us
[01:15:56] in our communities and things like that and really breaking barriers I didn't really think about it for that perspective but him being the first you know to have a video show I didn't
[01:16:07] think about that why we probably wouldn't be in a big company back everybody loved video so let's be very good video so was amazing and I know Washington called it when I you know
[01:16:22] not the same she wasn't taking care of it but when he went off of it remember the young lady took over for when he went off sheery I know it I know he's very soft I figured her name though yeah
[01:16:35] yeah he had he went off of it for a little bit and everybody's like when Dany coming back when that just showing you you know the his star power and everybody just fell in love with him
[01:16:43] and shout out to you sheery no shade to you but you know you know firsthand because I know probably people were asking you what was going on we're going on down in sips and why he wasn't on the show
[01:16:53] so yeah definitely uh salute you know thank you for everything you did yeah that's a big shoes to feel you know stupid big shoes to feel and I'm glad you talked about the celebrity power like
[01:17:03] he really interviewed and spent time with an uncountable amount of celebrities and so it was while because his retirement actually made the news yesterday. I'm talking like news news not just
[01:17:19] not just you know no it's you know YouTube is like Fox and you name it so it's like wow seeing in like he obviously has affected a lot of different people positively and shout out to you Dany
[01:17:31] way to go and hanging there hopefully you know my bed of about 55 years focus I don't know we better start right right in block of something this 55 years you know you're gonna like we ain't there we are most there yeah 55 we are
[01:17:49] most in 55 that's a lot closer than 25 yeah we did not be the glory if he let us be here listen we will be here hey man that's true nice to
[01:18:05] I do was that real talk uh you just want to make sure people understand how to have no make up look at guys pretty good make up with police quit making up stuff don't do it don't do it I mean I just think
[01:18:15] sometimes we do have to revisit the things we've been quoting you know um i think that's something we do in Christianity where we just you know you find some scriptures you quote them you bring
[01:18:28] them up when it's the right time or you feel it's the right time we're trying to encourage somebody or you're trying to encourage yourself but we should always be re learning God you know that
[01:18:41] mean because if you grew up and you heard the 23rd song Laura's my shabber I show that one it should mean something different to you when you're 40 then when you're five you know you're
[01:18:53] memorizing it when you're five 10 but by the time we turn 40 you're gonna have a new revelation that you should so yeah so that's why today you know yeah um instead of the right hand to
[01:19:05] the father um God says he'll make your enemies your footstool so that's why we had to talk about that today are your enemies truly your footstool how do you really sat down on the right side of God
[01:19:15] and are you really allowing him to make your enemies your footstool are you out here trying to correct your enemies or shut them down or troll them or whatever like are you really allowing God
[01:19:26] to do the work while you sit back relax and allow him to do what you do and that takes wisdom that takes teaching and this is why we always continue to say listen get into a church
[01:19:41] where you can grow and learn a good Bible based church where you can learn because you point guys I hear what you're saying you should understand that scripture a little bit differently 30 years later 20 years later 15 years later but I would argue if you were studying
[01:19:55] and you're not um you know being challenged by wanting you to church leaders to somebody a day of loosing who knows and understand scripture a little bit higher than you know it's
[01:20:04] gonna be the same thing and then going to not know you and even all look to see if you get a but you were complaining that God ain't God ain't doing a thing though like you quick to complain
[01:20:15] a bad god and ask God why you are moving the wooper oh I said it's still coming from me why they hate me or why they you got a lot of questions though but it's like did you really
[01:20:24] read some 110 the first verse correctly when it says sit you know on the right on the right hand side sit on that right hand side let me handle the business now yeah that's why I didn't handle
[01:20:41] it because you want to sit down somewhere so since you up like I said I'll fare I said my grandma these are say stop fannets sit down and stop fannets running back and forth like have several
