[00:00:00] Hey hey, Conquest is Wave with the Fix-Wild, The Fix is in. I'm Mr. Soul, I'm tuning in, but you're doing...

[00:00:32] I'm just a little bit tired, but now that I've reached you guys, thanks to the plan. Don't let you on the set shot and it good news. I'll prove that it's living. Yeah, reviving our dish I go, when you keep it a breeze on the platform, it's here. Walk on to the city stand up. Chitchat James left but the keys to rings here. No tears, no love, lost no rain here. The limbers I promise aren't here. Love, love, love for the city still resides here. Fixing your element, things that reside outside the lines, touching my consent matter. Art outside the box, you pay better. The Fix is in and we rock a channel, we rock a plan for what's needed.

[00:01:01] Expose those, you talk but don't live. Expose those who talk but don't live. Take a fist, take a fist, judge by the fruit from the tree. But if the fruit tastes like the trees and money is the fruit that they speak. So tell me who's face do they see? Repeat, take a fist, take a fist, judge by the fruit from the tree. But if the fruit tastes like the trees and money is the fruit that they seek. So tell me who's face do they seek?

[00:01:19] Yes sir, turn your videos all the way back up. It's your boy DJ focus checking in. Yeah, she girl dies gambling the building checking in wake up wake up. The Fix is in no time it is.

[00:01:32] Tip tell Tuesday. Tip tell today. I don't know what we're tip to and in but I'm pretty sure it ain't gonna be a tip to.

[00:01:41] Yeah, we're going tip to. We just told that of you know, Emil Kd. Definitely again we want to salute and thank him for everything he's done for us. Give us that's the opportunity. That's to be very clear to come on in their ways.

[00:01:55] That's right. I don't think we own here. I don't know how many colors was owned in 64 and in 1964 was owned airwaves. I just I don't know if that was a whole movement. I put them numbers up to see.

[00:02:08] I think he helped us out a little bit that I just put that out there like you know it might have been a few but you know,

[00:02:16] yeah, we we have a lot of us out here and shout something help for just realizing that everybody deserves equal rights and and all the things that go into it to as well. So yeah, it's another blessed day where this is the day that the Lord has made.

[00:02:31] We will rejoice and be glad in it so we thank y'all. We're waking up with this beautiful Tuesday morning listen. We don't go to some music. We come right back. We got a fun back show. Come on. You tune into the fix and the fix is in.

[00:02:45] Shout out to Stevie Resoneman. I don't know. I just dug in them crazy this morning. I feel like it was somebody single out there a single lady out there this morning. I just need to hear that Esther song that Esther needs to be. That Esther song goes hard.

[00:02:59] Yes, I mean, I think I've had that thing on repeat for days at a time. I went at first drop but not just to see the riso out here for real because he is making that awesome music.

[00:03:10] He's not going to be music and he's nailed it. And it's all fire. It's all fire put him up against anybody Chris Brown you name it. Oh, sure. No matter whoever you think you like. Put Stevie up against them.

[00:03:22] My only argument with you on this. I don't think I'm with you on this singing part. Don't say thanks. Yeah, he go listen listen did you say did you hear the two names you said? Like outside of Michael Jackson. I mean, we can talk about the dance moves.

[00:03:40] So no, I'm not going to listen to this. We're always keeping a buck on the face. So Stevie Reson that's a challenge now. Now, yeah, you might have to bust a move. Keep my hand in moves. You don't know. We haven't seen anybody have.

[00:03:56] Now, I had you said George. George Rose. You be like, yeah, right. Yeah. Yeah. But but, but shout out to our little brother George Rose. I don't think he has the range in the vocals.

[00:04:07] He's like, yeah, I know George Rose listen. No shade, but you need a state show. Stevie Reson how to dance. There we go. No, no steps. There are steps. I know I know. I got to post one of my videos this week. I was like,

[00:04:20] No, I'm in my dance bag now. Yeah. It got to make him a steak. Like I didn't even think about it. And I'm not a good dancer. I'm not, but I've been encouraged. I've been encouraged. I was like, listen. Yeah, I just

[00:04:31] taken over the world. That's the only piece that I don't have. That's that Kirk Franklin vibe. You know, he's all in that dance bag right now. You can't keep up with him. He's gone.

[00:04:40] So, so we're real talk. I saw a, I saw an interview that Kurt and they asked him, you know how to, he learned his dance moves and where do you, you know when he started dancing? You know what he said? What he said?

[00:04:51] I just started having fun and home my wife doing line dancing. And it turned into me start learning all the new dances. So maybe that's what we do. Oh, really? Oh, really? He just said this regular line dances. You know, saying to me, you know,

[00:05:05] the wobble and whatever whatever. And then that worked his way into what we see. So again, maybe that's a tip. And you can get yourself warmed up. And then they can go to Tiki Takin. Then we're Tiktok. Wow. Just a million. So smooth. So smooth.

[00:05:24] See, you square out. Let me see what's going on. Oh no, never. You see you square out. I don't know them about that. I'll get to be down here from downstairs to nobody. See? I saw something. I don't know. I'm not going to the square out.

[00:05:35] I'm not knowing if it comes up so glad. Cause I don't know if that's all in stick or fix. Pray for us this morning. Thank y'all for waking up with us on this tip. To Tuesday. And when I say, we have a fun pack show.

[00:05:57] We don't talk about it. This real talk. Listen, we start in the year off right and we don't continue to, you know, push to get better and grow. Yeah. We all talk about it today. Dice, Grace and Mercy. The Grace and Mercy of God is important. Something. Understanding.

[00:06:14] You know what I'm saying? Yeah, I think it's some we absolutely abuse and definitely misunderstand. This is going to be a good one. This might be a refresher course for some of you who definitely rock and

[00:06:24] that Grace and Mercy, you know, category where you're like, nah, I get it. I understand it. I operate in it but a lot of people don't. A lot of people, something we don't know how to activate it. You know, something we don't know why they have it.

[00:06:37] So it's just, this is going to be a fun one. I think personally. I hope so anyway. Now, I'm going to be good. So yeah, y'all strap up. Y'all know what y'all come for. Y'all know we keep it up buck and pray for us.

[00:06:48] You know, if you don't agree, just let us know. Y'all know how to deal with Texas and like for the ones that love ones who got our, got our call our numbers hit us and let us know. Yeah, we want to keep the buck.

[00:06:59] It's all for the people. It's all for growth. It's all for God. And I tell y'all that, spirits of detox head different. We're going to get a super talented listen, singer, songwreiger. This is man. He's getting a fitness instructor. He's a visionary thing else.

[00:07:13] This is from Detroit, Michigan. I brother. He's a non-heutsu on the land, huh? Well, we will be gay. This man is just amazing. We were talking about offline, just him writing and producing and the list goes on and on on and on on.

[00:07:30] He's he's a mogul on his on right. So. Man, I can't count the number of artists. He's probably been able to help, you know, get on two bigger platforms and all of that. And he's funny. So this is this is an exciting one for me anyway.

[00:07:48] We got our news and 90 coming up to us well. So yeah, definitely keep it locked. But that of course we got the faithless sports report to us well. So I thought to just an Adam, she's been doing amazing job. Listen, I gave him Kudos.

[00:08:03] That one he did yesterday on that replay from everything for play. All sorts ridiculous. So we're going to tap into the faithless sports report. Keep it locked. And the fix is in.

[00:08:13] I'm dice gamble from the fix and this is your news in 90 tired of waiting for an ad to play while you're waiting to watch your video on YouTube. Well, what if it was a commercial that could save someone's life?

[00:08:25] YouTube is partnering with the American Heart Association to create commercial videos for health emergencies, bleeding, choking, heart attacks, seizures, and even opioid overdoses. YouTube is moving to elevate, credible and actual health information that could possibly save someone you love's life one day. For more information, visit heart.org.

[00:08:49] In 2024, are you ready to try and plant basic dye? But you still love a good burger? Well, good news for you, the list of fast food chains selling impossible products and beyond products just keeps growing from Burger King's impossible

[00:09:06] proper to Carl Jr.'s Beyond Famous Star Burger, dunk in beyond sausage sandwich, kiddober's impossible tacos, all the way to little Caesar's impossible supreme pizza. The list of possibilities is growing.

[00:09:21] So the next time you're at a red robin or a fat burger with your family and you are now on a plant-based journey, just remember nothing is impossible because they have an impossible burger on the menu. And in tech, are you tired of weight and traffic?

[00:09:36] Pivotal, the Paolo Alto California based company backed by Larry Page, kicked off its online sales of its lightweight electric personal aircraft that doesn't require a pilot license to fly. Go to pivotal.arrow for more information. I'm Dice Gamble, and this has been your news in 1990.

[00:09:56] And we back, D.J. focused, Dice Gamble, you tap back into the fix. Your source of faith and views hip-hop iron being poetry, you know, series XM Channel 140, OLIC, OJR, you're all for waking up with us on this blessed Tuesday.

[00:10:10] You're just getting up, listen, come on, get up and have you a great word of prayer which you'll learn to save it? We thank you for rocking with us and listening to us. What day is today? Dice, I know you've got your annual days.

[00:10:52] Today's a day, some people may or may not like today is National Fig Newton Day. So every January 16th all across the world, people recognize this as National Fig Newton Day. And obviously in the Biscoe would be the number one person making this pastry that's filled with fig.

[00:11:13] And you know, it was just in the mid-1991 by Philadelphia Baker Charles Roser. He invented this machine that stuffed the fig paste into a thick pastry dough. And that is what we have now, it's called a fig. But fun fact, we call it a fig Newton.

[00:11:34] It's labeled actually as a cookie but in the UK it's called a biscuit. I don't know. I don't know what happened there. It's a biscuit. I know all I know was some apple joints as ridiculous. I messed with them apple joints.

[00:11:48] You know, it took me forever to even eat a fig Newton. Like growing up, it wasn't a vibe. And the crazy party is figs have a lot of nutrients in it. It's a healthy thing for you, my aunt and Savannah had a fig tree in her yard.

[00:12:01] So those are you down south Savannah Georgia. You already know it's a typical country fig tree. And it was just out there and you ate the figs.

[00:12:08] But I'm kind of boozy with the fig now, so you do the fig with the honey and the honeycomb on a nice piece of sourdough and some whipped ricotta. Yeah, so you can keep your fig Newton giving me some of that bread.

[00:12:23] Yeah, I'm good on that but I'm not you got me daydreaming about some apple with a large glass of milk. No, no, you're not talking. Are you never had the apple? No, I love apples. That's something you say apple. I'm like now I'm interested.

[00:12:41] The strawberry one is decent to as well but the apple that's my go to would it would it talk glass of milk and get out my way. Yeah, that's a whole row out of any of all the positive that row.

[00:12:50] Yeah, you don't just go let me just give me that row right. That row. So it's too much. Yeah, yeah, yeah, you get your side. I still my side down. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. Just have a look at this. Because it is natural. There we go.

[00:13:03] Fig Newton day. Listen coming up next hour is our spiritual detox featuring listen a super talented singer songwriter musician fitness instructor. Entrepreneur business man. We're going to get John Houston on the line to talk about everything. Don't be got so keep it locked by that next hour.

[00:13:20] We also have just items coming in blessing y'all with that faith and sports report. And we got much, much more. Let's get back to this music though. Come on now. Oh, these ladies is represent.

[00:13:30] Shops out to Angie Rose and the child likes CC and everybody else on this track. Ladies is represent. You're just in your spirit right now. Keep it locked. You're tuning to the fake. And fix this in. New videos. Music articles, Devos and more. Staking that.

[00:13:46] Can I get the at now? So you know, Mr. Bang. Visit holyculture.net. I welcome back DJ focus. Dice Gamble. You're a source of fake infuse hip hop army. Apology. It's time for our spiritual detox. And we got one form the day, guys.

[00:14:00] When I said you, uh, you talk about movies and shakers in the kingdom, uh, you know, super talented listeners songwriters. Listen, he got some songwriters, uh, with with with timeless hits. We talk about it all the time in our space.

[00:14:12] You've got to write some timeless hits if you ain't, you ain't part of that. You ain't going to be a part of the history. So we, we excited because he's doing music. I'm on himself. He's a super talented like I say singer, songwriter, uh, producer. Yeah.

[00:14:25] He got a little fitness journey to his way that we are talking about. We're going to have to dive into his way of motorbased those speaker. He does it all the man himself. Listen, John, welcome. Welcome. Welcome to the fix. I'll be real with you.

[00:14:37] Um, I'm I'm excited because there's a song that you kind of contributed to that I listen to every single day. So I'm I'm ready to get into this interview right now. But song we're talking about is impossible.

[00:14:51] Uh, we, we know you had some, uh, you know, some writing, some writing production on that. So speak about that. How to how to how to that come about you even, uh, write that. I actually wrote a song on that album called Narrow Reaves.

[00:15:03] Um, I originally did it on an album that I put out with Tasha Lockherr. Um, her and I did the song and it was amazing. I was in Chicago and, uh, getting her to the go out with my fiance. And I get a call from Pastor Mike.

[00:15:22] And he's a good friend of mine. He said, bro, I heard a song that she released. He's like, please let me put that on my album. And I just had to let him do it because that's my breath.

[00:15:31] And, um, heavy key, air sheared ended up putting it on that impossible album. And, you know, it's just amazing. So I'm honored to be part of that body work.

[00:15:42] Um, it did millions of streams to share which just took the world by storm and it just blew my mind. So, um, I'm excited about what's next. Listen, talk about that a little bit more before we go.

[00:15:55] I was gonna say yeah because you got to unpack that because it'd be very clear. You got to hit song and listen, Pastor Mike, Jun, you called you to use it. Like speak to that because a lot of artists, I'm beyond what I do that.

[00:16:07] They would have heard it. They wouldn't have said no, no, no, no, no. This is for me. I got to make sure they stay for me because I know how good this song is.

[00:16:13] So just think that a little bit more and you just being saying, you know what? Absolutely, you know, like you say, good friend of yours, but still you could have heard that song for yourself and not giving him the rights to use that song.

[00:16:24] Well, yeah, for me music is like, um, real estate. If you think about it like that, I'm independent. I don't have a machine behind me. So everything that I've done has number one, but out of my own pocket.

[00:16:38] And listeners that I've been able to achieve our organic listeners, this is not like a market and taking push in my stuff. This is literally God giving me music. Me putting the music out and it just naturally hit in the world by storm. You know what I'm saying?

[00:16:56] Um, past or mic ended up hearing the song. And like I said, he hit me up and was like, God, let me use this song for my album. And I said, and I thought about it.

[00:17:07] And one thing that I thought about number one when God gives us songs, It's not just solely for you, right? But then on the business side, you got to think of it like real estate.

[00:17:19] More people hear the music because he has a different kind of follow-in behind me. You know what I'm saying? He was already the number one artist, the gospel artist in the country at the time.

[00:17:32] So it was actually a godly thing because when people type in, after mic, we never leave, Guess who else song come up? Mine. You know what I'm saying?

[00:17:45] So you know, it's just by chance that he used the song and then now also has gained me more of this in the ship. So it was the blessing that was in no brain and I wrote the song. So it's business, baby. I get paid off of it.

[00:18:02] I never really thought about that. Songs being real estate but I appreciate you saying that. And thank you for elaborating like, you know, To focus this point, some people are just so petty. You know, if somebody else chose like,

[00:18:16] That thing can have some value or I could do this with it. They wouldn't let it go. They were like, nah, nah, nah, nah, I just do it myself. So that really shows your heart. I mean, you and this do a non-strong song, Do our Dan, Armstrong song.

[00:18:29] That's out now. I know we're going to get into that. But when did you actually get into music? So I'm born and raised in the church from a mother and father on both pastors. And so I've been in music since I was a little boy.

[00:18:46] Fast forward to when I was about 16. I started doing praise and worship at my brother's church. And still do 35 now. So I'm not new to music during the pandemic. I got called to do Sunday's best season. I made top 20 in the country.

[00:19:06] And after that, I come back home. And I was cool. I run a business here in the city. And I don't do music for money. I do music for fun. And you know, I just like therapy for me. So I didn't need to do music for monetary gain.

[00:19:25] So I came back and was just back on my business grind. The producer from Sunday best just so happened to be in a talent one day. Pulled up to my gym and actually, Wow, it wasn't doing music. And I told the same thing, I told y'all, I'm like,

[00:19:42] I don't need to be on the road all the time. I got a 12 year old son. And just, I'm cool just doing what I'm doing. And he goes, if you don't do music, you're going to be letting so many men who look like you.

[00:19:55] Right, you know, down because, you know, it's not nobody like you in the industry. You know what I'm saying? And I said and I prayed about it. And around 2020, I released my first record called John 360. I'm a pastor Mike is on that album.

[00:20:13] And from there, I released more music Eric Dawkins. I touched a locker, Jay Moss. I'm Jordan Armstrong to name a few. And it's been a fun journey so far. So, Hey, that's a guy beat the glory. I'm about humble years guys. Yeah, you know what?

[00:20:32] Yeah, I don't have to do this, but if God calls me to what I do it, but that's real talk, talk about, you know, the process. So what does it look like for you when you do create? Like, when you go into the studio,

[00:20:44] what's the best way that works for you when you talk about creating? Are you wanting these to hit a production farce? Did you work on the production? Are you writing first? I wish you a creative process. So my creative process is always organic. It's always spontaneous.

[00:20:59] I don't like nobody sending me a song or a track. I like to be in the studio and I like to work by the producers. I try to produce a work. I generally tell him to start in guitar sounds.

[00:21:14] I don't know why, but I just think the guitars of my favorite instrument. So they'll go to some guitar loops. And from that, I can just tell when it's still one. You know what I'm saying? And I just started writing organic from there.

[00:21:30] You know, and we'll build the song while the producer is building the track. So while he's working, I'm working. Yeah. All of the songs that I've done, none of them were pre-planed. I literally walked in the studio one day. It was like, alright, let's just see.

[00:21:47] You know, that's what I have you listened to my albums. Not one of my songs sound the same. I can't stand it and I know y'all have been here. Were you listening to an album? And it sounded like 10 songs, but they all sound the same.

[00:22:01] You know what I'm saying? So I wanted to always release and eclectic body. So you would literally hear contemporary. You'll hear something traditional. You'll hear some old school within you and hear a bandit. Then you might hear something jazz. And it's all great music.

[00:22:17] So that's how I create it. That's good. Listen, DJ Focus, Dice Gammel. We got to go to a quick break. We coming right back with more from John Houston. Keep it locked. You tune it to the fix. Welcome back. Welcome back. DJ Focus, Dice Gammel.

[00:22:29] You tap back into the fix. We still got John Houston on with us. So come on, John. Tell us about a little bit about this fake journey a little bit. You say, yeah, grew up as a PK.

[00:22:37] You know, our own, any misconceptions you can debunk as growing up as a PK and walk us through a little bit of your journey of, you know, how God has, you know, molded and shaped you. You know what about the PK conception?

[00:22:52] I don't really be caring about what people think. I think everybody in perfect then they all know what it is. You know what I'm saying? And I think the expectation is that we would walk a little bit more upright than other people.

[00:23:03] But tell them the truth is everybody is human. You know what I'm saying? So, um, shoot there. Everybody make mistakes. I'm just one where I don't let people cram me and they box the perfection because they're not perfect themselves. You feel what I'm saying?

[00:23:18] So I could care less with people think about the PK thing. Um, as far as my journey, you know, I've always, I was raised in a godly home.

[00:23:31] I was fortunate enough to be raised in a, in a home where my dad was who he said he wasn't a pool pit. And the four walls of our home, you know what I'm saying?

[00:23:41] I don't have one of them crazy stories like my daddy, people on my mom or on my mom. Stand my dad. I don't have any kind of stories. Like my mom and my dad, um, took his day. It's been a minute over 40 years, um, beautiful people.

[00:23:56] And it wasn't that hard for me to see how a godly walk was supposed to be exemplified because I saw it through my mom and dad, right? But at the same time, um, they wasn't beaten me over the head with a Bible.

[00:24:10] You understand, like, they, we wasn't like crazy, sheltered. I still was able to play with my home boy. He's grown up like I lived a very normal childhood, um, you know, transferred to my daughter, my early childhood, I made some mistakes.

[00:24:27] Um, had a kid before I got married, had to figure out what the heck I was doing. But my head a couple times and, um, I'm glad I did because that made me see God from myself. And, um, shoot. To be honest, you still work alone.

[00:24:45] You know how to weigh it as a year as most people, you know what I mean? I'm honored to be one of my men and a lot of people take me as a breath of fresh air

[00:24:54] because when I'm going to sing places, guys, they don't even think I'm the special guest because I got tattoos on my neck and my whole body. So I walk in and they're like, well, are you they security? And I'm like, no, I'm a person who's singing.

[00:25:08] We're gonna walk in the city. You need to carry it. It's cool because I'm, you know, the two of us are talking about a way to talk about, move. I'm not going to go with praise the Lord, Doc. That's just, I don't do all that, bro.

[00:25:21] Like, I'm just like, yeah, we're to see that with cool. You know what I'm saying? We really chill and, um, just to breath the fresh air for a lot of people who are new

[00:25:29] today, walk with God because they also don't feel like they have to be, you know, falsely perfect to represent the kingdom of God and be used by him. You feel me? Listen, I love that you brought up your parents and I did see that.

[00:25:44] You did make a post of them. They're beautiful online, 40 plus years that is insane. What took you a year to propose to your fiance? What took me? Yeah, you said, you said it took you a year. I guess after y'all kind of went out.

[00:26:03] Take your year to realize this was, this is the one. Right. Well, I don't post, I've never posted a woman that I was dating until her. I'm tired of those. I think that people make the mistake, they're oversharing.

[00:26:17] In this day and age, they show too much and you know, show the Instagram for your girlfriend's. You know what I'm saying? And now you want us to believe that your fifth one is the one. It's like, nah, so I never posted, you know, possibility.

[00:26:33] I probably got a right y'all. I probably got a right y'all. You think what I'm saying? No, I'd like, I want to wait until God told me that she was the one. You know, and then when he finally told me, that's what I'm talking about. I love that.

[00:26:53] She's beautiful, by the way. She looks like a barbedo. So congratulations on that. That's why I was like, man, I know if this is the one, especially you have an a great example of marriage and what that is. I was like, she has to be amazing. Yeah. Congratulations.

[00:27:07] Hmm. Come on to talk about it, man, for some who've never heard your music, man, how would you describe your musical sound? Like, what would you give the people to say if you like this artist you would

[00:27:19] like me or would you compare yourself to an artist or just speak about your musical sound? Man, I'm not being here anymore. I'm not being funny, but I'm just gonna say it. Don't say it. Go on to keep it up. Go on. Go on.

[00:27:32] And then you know, nobody like John Houston is like, you will never listen to one song of mine. I'm gonna be like, oh, this song is like such a such a thing. Please just listen to one of the records. You know what I'm saying?

[00:27:44] I'm not no like studio singer. I can sing for real. Like I can sing, sing and pick and take people of guard because of how I look. You know what I'm saying? I'm muscular with tattoos there where you're not got locks. You know what I mean?

[00:27:58] So it can't be pulled off guard. But not on an occupant flat with sing. Then on top of that, the production teams that I work with are the best in the country.

[00:28:08] Like you talk about these slaves who's working with myself and I don't know if you all have heard of Detroit youth choir. He had one that producers for them too. So he's taken him to Justin Brooks.

[00:28:21] He is he just got off the road with the the reunion tour with the Clark sensors and how they've been in the Dino. I know you heard of him that he's the most of Pastor Mike stuff. Mr. McClure. The James Brown joint. So these are all my works.

[00:28:45] I'm just so the team that I work with, I mean, I just amazin. So we're just taking the word about storm. And like I said, we doing it all organic. I don't have no label behind me.

[00:28:57] I started my home because I didn't want to be under the thumb of no major label telling me what I had to wear or what I had to look like. You know what I'm saying? What I had to.

[00:29:07] I don't want anybody telling you what to do for real. So I'm I'm part of just do about myself and here we go. We are. I can't talk about it man. You get ready release this live EP come on. You know what I'm talking about inspiration behind it.

[00:29:20] What can we expect on it in collaboration and just the overall inspiration why make this project. Yeah, I'm going to do a live EP this year. And then I'm also going to release.

[00:29:32] I don't know if you want to call it R&B alone, but I'm doing a EP called marriage material because I'm getting married and April. Some of the things, a 8 song EP, a lot of songs.

[00:29:47] You know, even though we came to shoot, you can't go on the date, listen to the JIP key. You know, I was going to drive you down. You can't reach. You know, I'm freaking yeah.

[00:29:59] So we're going to release some of my music for all the married couples, people who want to be married and it's all of the, you know, we're rooting and God'sness because we don't be talking about true love.

[00:30:10] All of the music right now is telling you to break up and hate each other. And that's why everybody breaking up, that's why everybody hanging each other. You know what I'm saying?

[00:30:18] So we want to kind of reverse that and I'm going to release this song and all of the songs are going to be about my life. You know, I'm saying so again, what you're going to say, I don't care what you're going to say.

[00:30:29] I'm worried about being saved, be my guest. So that's a little few things and I got some surprise. Guess on that, it's going to be really, really dope. Well, you guys just make sure that thing being our inbox at ASAP when we're ready.

[00:30:43] We look for the invite, bro. At least, can we do the red card with us? I mean, yeah, yeah, yeah, if you go have a release, I release party for it.

[00:30:50] It's something, man, listen, we want to be there because we talk about Kingdom marriages and it's at your point. A lot of marriages are crumbling because they're not bringing that spice back like, what are y'all doing? Yeah. Yeah, that's good. I promise you, I got you.

[00:31:05] And it's needed, it's really, really needed. Appreciate you making that up. What was the health drive though? Because I don't think we, we touched on that like, you're out here inspiring a whole workout culture. So, I mean, you have transformations that are happening in other people's lives.

[00:31:22] Like, what was that really about? So, I've been a general order for one to one-to-one years. That's my, that's the beginning part of my story. Ten years ago, I was a police officer and Detroit. I was a cop for three years. And I went to church.

[00:31:41] And I don't know if y'all have ever heard of this guy named Ty Hall. He's a prophet, prophet Ty Hall. It came to our church. The first time I ever met this guy, he prophesied that night that I was going to start a fit in.

[00:31:54] He started a fitness center. He said, you're going to be a rich man in the area of fitness. He said, but after that, you're going to start doing music that impacts the lives of young men who look like you.

[00:32:05] He said, but you're not going to just be sitting wide, no more country. And says it's going to be a worldwide thing. And he said it's going to impact the lives of young men who look like you. And fast forward ten years from now on here we are.

[00:32:17] So for the last ten years, you know, I've been running the business. I started outside because I had to start outside in the park. We went personally fast forward now over in a seven thousand square foot facility. The quit with an indoor track on staff chef.

[00:32:34] And we are three hundred members strong in Jim. And then I also have an app where we have twenty different. What we have grind time members in twenty different US cities and three different. And three different countries. So, you know, we were all wide doing this.

[00:32:54] And that's really where I started my whole journey. And my little faith walk just trusting God for that word that I received ten years ago. And I'm living literally living that out while I'm seeing him talking to you. Good evening. That is perfect.

[00:33:12] Thanks for sharing that success story because that's a success story of you just being faithful to what God called you too. So thank you for sharing that. Listen, come on before we get you out of here, man. You know, what's next?

[00:33:23] Well, it's twenty twenty four is going to be a big year. And like I told you about the marriage material EP. You're looking so much for performances of course. I'm getting married next year. That's going to be crazy. Let's see. You know, I'm in this play.

[00:33:42] Yesterday was the first night and then today is the next night. And it's my first time acting. And I told the crew that's night like I think I caught the acting book because I'm actually really, really good. But yeah. Like real and I enjoy being on stage.

[00:34:01] I enjoy acting out my character. I play a dude that's just got a prison that's trying to get his life together. But then also try to help the people around me and my family find God. They're need to find them. And I'm having fun doing myself.

[00:34:16] Who knows, I might be in a couple of plays. Who he's I don't know. Let's see God. Going in the 2023, I did not know that I was going to have a place for no past or my ex-album. And that was going to literally tens of millions of streams.

[00:34:32] I didn't know that going in 2023. I had different plans. But God put a magnifying glass on those plans and blew him up. So I could say I got certain plans, you know. But who knows what God got into it.

[00:34:46] I just know it's going to be a big year. And this is the Ebony Scrooge play, right? Yup. Uh-huh. Yeah, you could go acting whatever you want to go acting. So I'm pretty sure we're going to be seeing you in a few other selections after this play.

[00:35:04] Um, is there anywhere else you would like your health business to go? Because I'm all things health over here. That's why I'm asking. I saw you definitely have this specialty for the men side of it.

[00:35:18] But me knowing our culture and sometimes our faith were not really into things that are healthy. So I'm like, hmm. Oh yeah. We tell you. Every single day, you know.

[00:35:33] Um, and that's the thing I think I'm going to always continue to do because I enjoy it so much. I don't feel like I'm working when I'm training my clients.

[00:38:10] The division around in the NFL playoffs are set. But first, before we talk about those games coming up this weekend, let's get to our scripts of verses of the day. And let's jump to Ephesians 4 versus 31-32 again Ephesians 4 versus 31 and 32. This is the easy translation.

[00:38:26] It says this, do not be jealous of other people. Do not become angry or shout up them. Do not quarrel with other people or insult them. Do not do anything or say anything that will hurt other people. Instead, help one another and be kind to each other.

[00:38:43] Forgive another. Remember that God has forgiven you because of what Christ has done. Again, that's Ephesians 4 versus 31 and 32. To the NFL playoffs and the final two spots in the next round are in the book.

[00:38:57] The Buffalo Bill has got the job done at the crib against the Pittsburgh Steelers. Here's the snap. Blitz coming. Allen steps up at the pocket. You're going to take off and run as the first down in more to the 40 to the 3530. Greats away. 20. 10. 5. Touchdown. Josh Allen.

[00:39:16] Yeah, give him a flex. Josh. Thanks to WGR550 AM sports radio as Josh Allen threw for three touchdowns and ran for another to lead the bills to a 31-17 win over the Pittsburgh Steelers. The bills will host the Kansas City Chiefs in an AFC divisional round.

[00:39:34] Next Sunday night. In the night cap, the Tampa Bay Bucket nears. They won five out of their last six games to end the regular season and the Philadelphia

[00:39:43] Eagles lost five of their last six games to end the year and you could guess how this played out in Tampa. They can't wide open. There's more again. His second catch. Still working through the secondary and touchdown Tampa Bay.

[00:40:00] Baker may feel through for 337 yards and three touchdowns as the Bucket nears route at the Eagles 32 to 9. Tampa Bay will go on the road to take out the joint Lions on Sunday. The other divisional playoff games are set.

[00:40:15] It's going to be the Houston Texans looking to pull off the upset against the Baltimore Ravens and the great Bay Packers will look to do the same against the San Francisco 49ers. In the NBA, the Philadelphia 76ers beat the Houston Rockets. 124 to 115. Joel and B. Job 41 points.

[00:40:31] It had 10 rebounds in that one. Kyrie Irvin scored 32 points. Had 7 rebounds and 7 assists as the Dallas Mavericks got passed through our normal Republicans. 125 to 120. The Orlando Magic Hell off the New York next 98 to 94. The Detroit Pistons approved a 4 and 36 on the season at the defeated the Washington

[00:40:52] Wizards, 129 to 117. Trey Young scored 32 points to leave the Atlanta Hawks to a 109 99 victory over the San Antonio Spurs. The Memphis Grizzlies beat the Golden State Warriors, 116 to 107. The Cleveland Cavaliers took down the Chicago Bulls 109 to 91. Donovan Mitchell scored 34 points in the win.

[00:41:14] The Miami Heat won up the Brooklyn Net's 96 to 95. The Boston Celtics beat the Toronto Raptors 105 to 96. The Utah Jazz, they are now on a 6-gay winning streak after taking down the Indiana Pasters 132 to 105 and finally, Anthony Davis scored 27 points.

[00:41:34] Had 15 rebounds to leave the Los Angeles Lakers to a 12-1-12-1-5 win over the Oklahoma Civic Thunder. I'm Justin Adams and this is being your DeFix Fate in Sports Report. Now back to DJ Focus at the high-skill. Shout out to Friday.

[00:41:49] Yeah, when it comes to you and shout out to everybody who, hey, he's getting them said that we keep playing that song, but that song is fire. That song speaks to me and my wife's marriage. So I pray for all the Mary folk out there.

[00:42:04] They would really get that song in your spirit and bring some fire back to some of y'all. Some of y'all marriages are still y'all need some of that when it comes to you.

[00:42:13] You need to sing a lullaby, sing a song to your wife or sing a song to your husband and get in that room and figure out my granddad. He said, go on in the figure out. Don't come out of that room to that woman's son. Figure it out.

[00:42:25] I agree. You're walking y'all working out. It's simple. It really is simple. You've got to all night to figure it out. That's right. He says what's called the Honeymoon. You got all night to figure that figure out. So yeah, stop there.

[00:42:41] Everybody who wants to spice back in their marriage. Yeah. I play that thing. It's fake infuse. I know he's not a Christian artist and he has a song with a, a Friday has a song with Maverick City.

[00:42:54] Unfortunately, he dropped a couple words in there that we came play it. Of course. We're not going to play anything with any, you know, Custain or any of the inward. So don't act like what you're going to do that here. But that song right there is clean.

[00:43:07] You look at the video. It is clean. It speaks to merges. It speaks to healthy relationships. We're not man in a woman and marriage. So yeah, shout out to Friday. Good listening. We definitely want interview with you. But yes, speaking of Friday, I know they're Friday.

[00:43:22] It's tiptoe Tuesday. But we know yesterday. Little Nas X went to social media and said, The say a few things. Did he dice? Well, I was excited to actually hear from him. And he said it wouldn't be planned or anything like that. I don't think it was either.

[00:43:41] I think he was just needing to get some things off his chest. But I said this initially. I was like, anybody heard nothing from this man about where he is. What he's doing. Why he's doing it. I definitely received the apology. I think anybody who says,

[00:43:59] I want to apologize to my Christian whoever. I was like, yeah, you talking to me because I was offended. So thank you for apologizing. It still doesn't make anything that he's going to continue to do. Right? You know, as far as I go, concerning Christianity.

[00:44:16] But I'm just like, at least you are expressing. I didn't mean to offend this is what I meant. I'm back like Christ. I'm back like, you know, I'm trying to portray me. And up against the greatest man that ever walked the earth.

[00:44:29] You know, who we definitely know to be God. And so I was like, okay, I think we all needed to hear that. And it was kind of long for those of you who want to go check it out. And everybody's reported on this thing by now.

[00:44:41] So you can probably go find a clip everywhere. But I think people need to hear probably a little bit more of why he even wants to do it. He's only 24 years old focused.

[00:44:52] So I mean, I was trying to take that into perspective of literally you ain't even been here that long. So and you don't have a relationship. You know, saying, what Christ in that way?

[00:45:03] So I have to give you a pass like I gave all these other people passes who they're not like hardcore Christians who, You know, they're not in the faith and I doing a CHA.

[00:45:13] You know, like, you know, but I appreciated his apology more than anything because I kept saying, He's just only like, what are we, what are we doing? Like, what are you doing? So what did you think? Did you think it was a heartfelt apology?

[00:45:27] Did you feel like he better explain himself? Do you feel like, like, so does he keep doing what he's doing? You know what I'm saying? Where are you at with this? So I do agree with you when I think it was not script.

[00:45:42] I think he actually went to social media and just said what, you know, he thought was right. Yeah. And I agree. I'm grateful that he did come in the apologize because I was offended to his whale as a believer. Uh-huh.

[00:45:55] Again, I'm no, I'm no one that comes on here all the time. You do two is what I was, we come on here all the time and be honest with you. And I told people, listen, what we're doing and what we choose to do over here.

[00:46:05] Because a lot of people give us flat all the time by interviewing secular artists. I said, listen, we're going to be relationships and this just shows. Yeah. He doesn't, he clearly doesn't have any type of spiritual guidance in his circle. Yeah.

[00:46:20] Just from what he said in that kind of a. So, so, so, so yeah. So to me, he's elected like, okay, are you a Christian? Are you a not a Christian? Because it wasn't clear.

[00:46:31] But it was clear that he wanted to apologize to anybody who is a Christian faith. Yeah. So I was cool with that. Again, yes, he is young. Listen, I tell y'all a time. I was a big hypocrite. I didn't say it's my life around. I was almost 30.

[00:46:46] I had been going to church all my life every Sunday, every Wednesday, Tuesday, and the choir. And I said, not what I'm just saying. Yeah. So it was convenient. So here's the thing. Listen, again, I'm holding a accountable.

[00:47:00] But I think doing whole people who go to church every day, accountable the same way if they're not living in lifestyle and they haven't transformed and always argue that. Because I used to be one of those.

[00:47:10] I used to be the one singing in the choir because we are my mom wanted me to sing in the choir. Had a deep voice because sing the bass. Okay, lead there and go to the block. Literally lead there.

[00:47:20] You know what I'm saying on Friday night, maybe sometime, but you've event. Yeah, I'm in a great time. Oh, so as we get home, you know, nine o'clock. Oh, by the way, my buddy's having a party down the street. Why am I going?

[00:47:31] I mean, that party one two o'clock. No, no, no, what? All right. So I've been in these places to where until I got proper training, and then also submitted for myself to God. There we go. Here from GAMP clearly, I was a red chondando and everything else.

[00:47:49] Now I wouldn't have blaspheming. Yeah. What did everything else? Yeah. For the cane to drinking and smoking. Yeah. Yeah, illegal stuff in the streets. You name it. So yeah, I wouldn't, I wouldn't have real Christian either. So again, I think we got to build. We got to understand.

[00:48:07] But until he gets somebody his corner dice, we're going to constantly talk about it. I just think we are. Because until I know, okay, he has an elder. He has a deacon. He has a pastor. He has some type of spiritual counsel to say,

[00:48:20] Okay, do you want to believe in this? Because again, I haven't heard him confessed. Yeah. Jesus Christ is Lord of his over his life yet. No, no. So that's my prayer. But if it doesn't happen, yes, he understands.

[00:48:34] If you're going to create art and you're going to use these different, you know, these, uh, images when you talk about, you know, yeah, what Christ did on the cross. You're trying to compare yourself to it. And absolutely just because multiple artists have done it before you.

[00:48:47] That don't give you a pass because again, I think, give Kendrick a pass. I can give two pocket pass. And everybody else who've been on one another, I didn't give you no pass. Stop doing it. Stop doing it. Stop doing it. You are not the Christ.

[00:49:00] You are not the second coming. You are not the second coming. We've talked about Jay Z and him called himself over. And that whole, you know, yeah, let's listen, we've talked about it. So we ain't going to want to wait for him to call our conversations.

[00:49:10] But if you want to be on this side, we'll accept you. But there's a standard. It's a lifestyle change. You got to do so. But he ain't going to be able to do it on his own because yeah, obviously he got a lot of people in his circle.

[00:49:21] And I've seen D one went live and talked about it to his will. And D one hit on a lot of points. He has a lot of people in his circle that are twice his age. That are promoting and telling him to do these things. Yeah.

[00:49:34] And then stop them. So again, this is when you run into the issue, you know, monetizing and making money off stuff just to do things. And any cost, yeah, we're going to agree with that. But here's all there.

[00:49:46] I'm glad he came for if I'm glad he said something. And I hope he walks. Eh. I find a little line with whatever he's trying to put out. You know, he's talking about he wants to put out some faith based record. Let that.

[00:50:00] Yeah, just make sure, you know, when you put them out, if not, we're going to shot fired again. We're going to shot fired over here with shots fired. Yeah, so. Oh. And I see what happened. I wish he would happen. Yeah.

[00:50:16] You know, like I said, I'm obviously I'm praying for him. Very much. You too. I appreciate, you know, him saying what he had to say. But yeah, I definitely want to see, you know, something different from him. And so, and he has great opportunity here.

[00:50:32] I think he probably gained back some, you know, people who were just ready to write a lot of letters and send a lot of emails. You know, and, um, and I get it.

[00:50:44] That's why I said, I'm trying to think about who he is and how far people have made him go. You know, so it's like, you know, we definitely been in it. We've lived other lives and we know how that is.

[00:50:58] Like, especially if you don't have them to write people around you, you can't even think right. You know, saying because you think everything they say is okay and then they're high. And you know, all it's good. Bro is okay. So, you know, we're doing all that.

[00:51:09] So, yeah, I think his soul is at stake. And when he paused, um, when he was, the quote was, he was trying to explain it to me. He said, I thought, me clearly not being on the side of the devil. And the video was the, and he's out.

[00:51:23] I don't know there was, I thought there was a understanding that I'm not here to Dischristianity. So I think he, he wants to say, you know, I'm really not for all that, but he, he cut it short to kind of protect his vibe.

[00:51:39] Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. So I like, you said all the time, guys, he said their contract. That's right. And he's not controlling all the business in his music and what he does. And yeah, when you sign these deals, you have to live up to. That's it.

[00:51:54] And yeah, it's a broken system that we constantly go keep talking about. So yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. Coming up, we got that real talk conversation. No, test that down. Oh, why not? I think it's, it's a good day to have this kind of over the day.

[00:52:05] Dice is, you know, Lil Nas X and K for us. So, uh, we might as well talk about a little bit. Gracing mercy that grace and mercy of God. Why not dice? I mean, what that I do with listening. I don't even want to do it. Really, really.

[00:52:18] You can make this stuff up. And you know, you all have no idea that this stuff going to be planned and God just show up. We're hoping that we can do it. We can plan him doing the pot. I mean, you can't plan this. That the, yeah, yeah.

[00:52:30] So, so they just go to, yeah, we didn't know this was going to happen. Lil Nas X. Right. We knew we was going to talk about this topic. So I think it's perfect. So let's not. Let's dive into it. So we got that coming up to as well.

[00:52:43] Uh, so plus a lot more. Let's go to this break. We coming back one more. Keep it locked. You're tuning to the fix. And the fix is in. Welcome back. Welcome back. DJ focused dice gamble. You tap back into the fix.

[00:53:01] Your source of fake infuse hip hop or in being poetry. Yeah. We're going to get real any street dice and we got one for them today. Yeah, we do. Go on. Go on. Go on. Go on. Yeah. I need to put it all on. Yeah.

[00:53:16] I need clergy in the book today. Pleasure. Well, like that. And they go on. They go on and hear a lot of Bible today. I feel like the difference in my spirit. Yeah, they want to tell me what you know.

[00:53:28] Tell me what Jesus said first and do so. Let's get into this real one today. We're going to talk about it. The grace and mercy of God. And I got to give him some Bible dice because we bought four one.

[00:53:40] I'm going to give him a few things too. Eight to nine with states for by grace. You have been saved through faith. This is not your own doing. It is a gift from God. Woo, we want again for by grace. You have been saved through faith.

[00:53:59] This is not your own doing. But this is a gift from God. So I love that particular scripture in the thesis because it just talks about the power of the Bible. Then we possess and it's all because we had a Lord and saved you.

[00:54:16] You're not us way more than we care about ourselves. Let's be very clear. We talk about it all the time. Luke warm Christians. Luke warm a believer. And us not understanding the power that we have that we possess. Yeah. The authority that we need to walk in.

[00:54:33] And the price that was paid for that. And that is a gift dice. I love the fact that he says it's a gift. I'm blessing you with this thing. What you're going to do with it? Yeah, we are just weak.

[00:54:48] And that is why there had to be a price to be paid. It's like I know 1,000% of the time that we receive God's grace or we're walking in grace or we receive God's mercy and we're walking in it. We are not remembering why we even have it.

[00:55:08] And we talked about this before. I'll ask you how people abuse God's grace. You know what I'm saying? It's something that we did not earn this. You don't deserve it. I don't deserve it. Nobody deserves it.

[00:55:22] You know, God is the God of everything and grace is absolutely getting that thing that you do not deserve. And so that's why you have to humble yourself when you realize, man, God, you can't be. You know what I mean?

[00:55:35] It was by your grace only that you kept me, you know what I'm saying. And so when you have that type of encounter with grace, these things continue to build your faith in God, knowing that grace, no mercy, neither one of these are you didn't deserve them.

[00:55:52] God just has a heart full of compassion for us. And so that's why you get it. Psalm 86 and 15 says, but you, O Lord, are God of merciful and God. And graciousness, slow to anger and abounding in steadfast love and faithfulness.

[00:56:09] Like there's a Psalm that people used to just think about God's grace and God's mercy. But yeah, Christ, I don't across for this for us so that we could have that opportunity that grace that saves us, keeps us, protects us, sustains us.

[00:56:22] Like this is why you will eventually have a lot of thankfulness in your heart as a Christian when you realize God's mercy and grace that has kept you. And I'm saying it, I mean it keeps you because that's what it does. Otherwise you would just be dead.

[00:56:35] You know what I'm saying? You would just fall to us, victim to your sin, victim to your fullerry, victim to your mistake, victim to your conscious sinfulness, you know, but, I'm telling you, God loved the world like he gave us son.

[00:56:50] You know, we get that mercy in that grace, but it's not to be played with or taking for granted. First Bill, sorry. I don't know what we do it to as well. You're absolutely right. We do take it for granted sometimes and we don't understand.

[00:57:04] But the beautiful thing about us, I mean, the beautiful thing about us not understanding. I'm so glad God has an unconditional love and forgiveness for us because. Yes. First thing I think about when I say when I think mercy,

[00:57:18] I think about God just you listen, having mercy on us. I know Matthew 18 and 21 through 23, it talks about Jesus forgiving the people. 77 times. I'll forgive me. 70 times seven. Get us straight into the lemon this nature of God's mercy. And listen, we just, we just don't do right.

[00:57:44] A lot of times we don't do right. And the goal is, let's be very clear, the goal is to be righteous. The goal is to live a life, please in the God.

[00:57:57] And when you don't make them mark, we know God has the mercy, but we do need to get better as being careful about. When we need God's mercy and grace to like show up in our life.

[00:58:12] And I think that's why a lot of times so much people don't believe us. Don't want to follow us, don't want to be a believer because we don't represent that properly. But that unconditional love shall sound to Jesus.

[00:58:26] Thank you Lord for giving us that unconditional love and forgiveness even though we are sometimes. That's the song that's to say a rich undone. I'm good. Yeah, that too. I'm glad we're having this conversation about grace. I think, well, I don't have to think.

[00:58:44] I know for a fact in my life and the lives of others when people are allowed to sit and think about God's grace that often changes their destination and how they live out there walk.

[00:58:58] Realizing how many times God was empathetic in their situation or came through and provided for them. I mean, I was just sitting here like man, when you start to think about God's grace, it keeps you grateful. You know, you're just like man,

[00:59:14] you can have done it by yourself. Like nobody could be where they are right now alone. You know, this is definitely taking, you know, God really injecting grace and mercy in each one of our lives.

[00:59:26] And I am beyond grateful for it, especially even through my ignorance that just who Lord, all the times I chose things or I've even, you know, had to mentor people who just chose the most ignorant choice. But God kept them safe and protected them.

[00:59:42] You know, in that moment of ignorance, by saying, you know what? You do not deserve this at all. Right. But I'm going to pour out some grace and cover you right now because, you know, if not, the world is going to eat you up.

[00:59:54] So yeah, not not abusing grace like we have to get better at that. But you know, not pre-sending. You know, a lot of y'all and me sometimes depending on if this cookie or not,

[01:00:04] I will choose to pre-send like pre-plan that sin because you know God has a certain amount of grace that he often always gives. But I'll be real with you there. Will come a day where that grace thing will be there. Yes.

[01:00:16] So you can keep all pre-planning, you know, sin if you won't do. But you can, you can't plan that God's grace will always be there for you. We know when you're doing that type of thing.

[01:00:25] And that's where we need to talk about the transformation process because at your point, you absolutely. You cannot continue to keep walking through life. And listen, listen. And it goes back to mental health. I hate to go on down this ravetry of what people fail to realize.

[01:00:43] Hurt people, hurt people and a lot of people need to deal with the healing process before they can get to the restoration process. And a lot of people are not healing from toxic relationships. It's a lot of trauma, just being narcissists and it's all type of things.

[01:01:01] So yeah, when you talk about being transformed, I hope you get to help you need if you need healing. If you need therapy, if you need spiritual counseling in this area. Because yes, you don't want to keep playing with God. God is not one to be mocked.

[01:01:14] He's not one to be played with. And you need to represent God better. I know I do. I know that's all my go. That's how I go for 2024. It's funny because me and my wife is having a conversation about,

[01:01:28] We were talking about, you know, just some highlights in the last year in the course. We always bring up CC wanting shots out to you. CC wanting to see, she's about to go on tour.

[01:01:36] So definitely go check and see what she has because she pulled up on my city. I'm definitely pulling the phone up because I really believe that she represents. The faith. Again, I know she ain't part of it. We know she ain't part of it.

[01:01:49] Every time I hear a sermon, every time I hear a song, every time I see her. She's always trying to represent God to the best of her ability. And I can tell is from an authentic place. Like it's not for show. It's not because she's a celebrity.

[01:02:04] It's because she's really sold out for Jesus. Yeah. To me, me and my wife are talking about that. We know she does that because she appreciates the grace and the mercy that God has had on her life.

[01:02:17] Our family life, you know, growing up being celebrity so early in and then family just being out in the forefront. I know she's meant to some trials and tribulations. But I think you can just tell she is grateful. She understands how grace and mercy work.

[01:02:31] So she's always the example we look at when we talk about it. So while we we made the joke come up, listen, when we interview the dice of you. If you fly and send on ahead of right now, that's an angel. We always use it. We make perfect.

[01:02:43] Right. They perfect. Makes absolute perfect. Since listen, God is very lavish with his grace. And he pours it out on us. Ephesians 1, 7th, 8 says, and him we have redemption through his blood.

[01:02:57] The forgiveness of our trespasses according to the riches of his grace, which he has lavished upon us. So it's like his grace abounds. Yeah, but we should not forsake it and take it for granted as well as his mercy. So God's mercy and grace. We talk about today.

[01:03:17] Don't touch that down. We go into a break. We come right back one more. Keep it locked. You're doing it to the fix. Fix is in. Welcome back. Welcome back. DJ Focus. Thanks, Gamble. Thank you all for just rocking with us.

[01:03:29] We talking about it today on this real talk conversation. We talking about it. God's grace and mercy. And I know I want to talk about Jesus.

[01:03:40] When you look at Luke 4, 18 through 19, this is actually the scripture where Jesus declared his mission to bring the good news to the point and find up the broken hearted and for claim liberty to the captive.

[01:03:55] So, when you talk about the broken hearted marginalized people and people not having compassion for. Listen, people really going through stuff. We talk about it all the time. Fortunately, I don't know why it's an issue, but it is.

[01:04:14] We still have a lot, I don't even know the number. I'm not looking number up. How many homeless people it is in America? Like that in itself, I don't understand. We have so many millionaires and we have so many disfigured. Uh, businesses, organizations.

[01:04:31] To me, we should do something about homeless people in America, but that's a whole number of friends. But that's six thousand six thousand five hundred six thousand. Fifty three hundred people. No, sorry. Six hundred fifty three thousand people. Let's just say like that. That's how many.

[01:04:52] Uh, in our homeless. Yeah, for sure. For sure, for sure, homeless. Like, and that's not even the total, you know, since, you know, we got a lot of moving going around, moving going on across some borders and things like that. And obviously, the homeless count.

[01:05:06] It just keeps going up. But we are called to, like you said, the widows, the orphans, the poor, we're called to these people. And the church is called first, but I'll leave it alone.

[01:05:17] You know, honestly, it's probably like at least a half a million people for sure that our homeless. You know, and that's insane. To you point, we have a lot of money. We got a lot of money. That way though, that's a lot of money.

[01:05:30] You got a billionaires and millionaires. Yeah. I know, you know, to God be the glory, you know, with me and my wife do it and anybody else that gives to the less unfortunate on the regular.

[01:05:41] And how can this imagine if I was, you know, saying, uh, worth $300 million. Yeah. Literally got $300 million at my disposal. No, no, even if I got all my millionaires, friends, and listen, we can get back this way. We all gave a million dollars a year.

[01:05:59] We could get these people into not only just homeless shelters, but also real turn around their lives, help them to give back on their feet. Not just give them a cot and give them a meal for a day and say that's it.

[01:06:14] No, no, let's give them, let's help them get some counseling. Because a lot of my no deal with some mental health issues and some problems, let's really help them get back on their feet. Anybody ain't gonna make it, but I didn't even see nobody even try that though.

[01:06:27] So yeah, let's let's see the stats on that four year of somebody just saying, you know what? I'm not just gonna build a shelter. I'm gonna build a center to where this person comes. Yeah. Absolutely.

[01:06:39] We take them to classes, counseling, get them, uh, healthcare whatever they need and help get them back on tape. Back back into the world and be a productive citizen.

[01:06:49] Like to me, that you should have a heart like that if you say your believe or you got money money. It's tough. Um, you know, it's tough. Shout out to Pasatonia and Atlanta, Georgia now, faith.

[01:07:01] You know, he has an amazing homeless ministry, but it's tough because it's big money in being a homeless.

[01:07:10] And this is that's a part of it that the people don't want to talk about from a city perspective and the money that they get and the things they get to do and how they should use it.

[01:07:18] And you're right from a biblical perspective, we should be caring for people, uh, Matthew five versus seven says what? Blessed are the merciful for they shall be shown mercy. So it's like, you know, not that you should be merciful just to receive God's mercy, but it's like, yeah.

[01:07:38] God is extra compassionate to those who actually show up like that and would be helpful and help, you know, help help other people. And we're to imitate God as Luke six and 36 says to be merciful just as your father is merciful.

[01:07:50] I don't know why we don't do it enough. Um, I stay given to homeless people. Like, I just, you know, people will have to warn me. You know, you know, do what? And I'm like, you know what? People gave to me like, I don't even think about them.

[01:08:02] I just think about the times I did not have and people would just roll up on me and just put a seed in my hand.

[01:08:07] And it doesn't matter if I was, you know, at the grocery store, if I was doing an event or if somebody just had been a Lord, let me over here.

[01:08:13] You know, I know you do whoop and I saw him like, I don't even think about, you know, I'm just out here helping homeless people. I think about like, man, when I was down, people was there.

[01:08:21] You don't understand that's all I know God sent people and um, until that's why I do it. We could change the world. You know, I definitely hear Chicago, we're starting to home, we're home homeless people in old like hotels and things like that.

[01:08:36] Some people don't like it because they're like, hey, we got our own homeless people that we haven't taken care of in long time, but they're just now getting to a point where they're like all these abandoned hotels and extra rooms. Like yeah, they deserve a nice bed too.

[01:08:48] You know, you got a nice bed, they deserve a nice bed roof over the head, little breakfast in the morning. So yeah, we could, we could definitely get better in showing mercy.

[01:08:58] I just wanted to say that God shows us mercy, but we are too in turn show other people mercy. You know, not judging them so fast. You know, I'm saying, understand and they've been through a lot. People've been through a lot. So yeah. Anyway. Not that's good.

[01:09:14] They have been through a lot and just because you know, they might be down on their luck right now doesn't mean when I suppose it shows like you said the mercy and helped them to give back on the feet.

[01:09:23] And it's sad that we live in a very selfish world. That's the world we live in. Everybody's out for itself. Everybody's not looking to help anybody else. We talk about all the time on how, you know, in the faith.

[01:09:35] We struggle with, you know, people who say they love God but they don't want to help, you know, the community is like, okay. I don't know how my, I don't know how my help.

[01:09:43] I don't know how my help, I don't know how my help and I ain't helping you forever. If I see you not trying to do it right. And this is this is the fine line that's, you know, you're not going to know how much you are.

[01:09:50] Yeah, what you're going to help me. I'm going to help you. I'm going to help you. Some people I need to do nothing though. I ain't talking about. I see. Yeah, absolutely. So yeah, absolutely.

[01:09:58] If I start helping you and we try to again get you back on your feet and you don't want to do nothing. Yeah, that's different. But I'm saying are there enough resources and enough people like even starting the process to even help. I don't see enough of that.

[01:10:12] And that's what we're talking about. That mental health piece though. If I got a million homeless people, let's just be honest. Because somebody else, people and people's challenges, you ain't got nowhere to stay, you know. I know. I've been on, I've been calf surgeon before.

[01:10:22] So I know what that looks like. I'm going to slap on somebody's floor. I was, you know, definitely previously before my marriage. I never forget when I just had my son who was sleeping on one of my friends floor in the living room.

[01:10:31] And I mean, not all nothing. The same thing. Like, like, I've been in these, in your homeless. You ain't got nowhere to go. But I'm just saying, like, it is, it's easy to give to your point focus. I don't want to get stuck there.

[01:10:44] But yeah, if people aren't trying, I don't know. There is a line where you gotta cut this thing off. But it's more of a mental thing as what I was trying to say. I was trying to say, or earlier it was like, you got to change.

[01:10:55] The mindset has to change. And if you don't see that change in, it's hard to kind of help some people who are in need, you know. And I don't know. I think we need some centers for homeless people too. Like, just mental health centers.

[01:11:09] You know, where they can work, where they can work on that. Like, okay, help me because they didn't have been through so much trauma. So it's like, yes, it's easier to go be homeless instead of trying to deal with, you know, regular life.

[01:11:20] But it's like, if you, yeah, if they have somebody to help walk them through the day and what that day should look like and they're in a safe area with safe people who aren't, you know, shooting shots at them all day.

[01:11:29] They might be able to get back on their feet. But you have this homeless problem as it's been here for thousands of thousands of years. So we can change. We can change. We can change. You just, like you said, got together and do some things differently.

[01:11:42] But we're called to love and be merciful like that. We are. And I thought, I'm so glad guys, mercies are new every day because you patient with us. That's usually he real patient with us because again, y'all, y'all better be glad we live in the new testament times.

[01:11:58] This. Impressing God, right? So yes. We, it's a couple of scriptures and I know we got to get out of here. But Micah chapter seven verses 18 through 19 talks about how God delights in us when we show mercy.

[01:12:16] And it's who was a God like you who pardon sin and forgive the transgressions of the remnant of his inheritance. You do not stay angry forever, but delight to show mercy. You know, you will again have compassion on us.

[01:12:28] You will, you know, tread our sins underfoot in her all of our inequities into the depths of the sea. But it's just like when we do show mercy, that's something that puts a smile on God's face.

[01:12:39] I just want to throw that out there for those of you who are, I hear trying to impress you, daddy. You know, go show some peace from our sins and some love. You know, because those are the things, those are his qualities.

[01:12:49] You know, he must see that in us to reflect it. So. And I appreciate grace because it's un... un... un... Unmerished, favor from God. We've got... no, no get a twist. God's grace has saved me. I mean, I can't count how many times either, you know,

[01:13:07] no bullets came out of the chamber. I didn't call it the drugs or, you know, I didn't get arrested. You know, under the influence. I mean, you just... I can't count how many times, you know,

[01:13:19] somebody else had to get locked up, but me or I got locked up and nothing happened. You know, it's like... I'm sitting here like... You just... whoo God. Because other people don't have that same story. Other people was out there in a street, so I was saying

[01:13:31] I was doing it and they didn't make it. They're not here right now. So it's like, yeah, you've got to count all these graceful, merciful moments. And I say, walking gratitude and start counting those grace filled mercy filled moments early in the morning, you know,

[01:13:46] meditate on them because I promise you it'll help keep you remaining thankful, you know, for God, for God's sent to his son, for salvation, and you getting to live for an eternity. So... God's grace and mercy. That's it for the real talk topic today.

[01:16:28] I really believe that she was gone too soon. Now, what's that thing another ever stating lost. I got a, I think was too soon. She definitely makes a great army music. Yeah. Wow. Yes. Yeah, age 22 she died.

[01:16:45] But definitely as an RB singer, she was selling millions of names of copies and it's crazy because obviously she started to sell more music after a few things started coming out with our Kelly.

[01:16:55] But yeah, she started in the film Romeo must die and then a lot of people especially superstitious people were like, you know, that last movie she was in kind of, you know, It was kind of wicky.

[01:17:09] And so they were like when she passed away there like, yeah, yeah, they kind of, the world kind of knew. But anyway, she did, she was married to our Kelly for a brief moment. And then her parents kind of shut that down.

[01:17:21] But yeah, she's dope for those of you who listen to our music. You hear she would probably would have been famous and I'll be honest with you.

[01:17:28] I don't think, um, and it's no shade to destiny's child, but I don't think they would have had a spot if she still would have been rocking because as soon as she passed away, they came right in and then they blew up.

[01:17:41] Just a little history there for you. It's a real hit the rough. I've heard they did. We could talk about that. We could, we could bring that up. We're going to do a whole show. We're going to show that. I got the facts on that one. But.

[01:17:55] What did I get? It didn't just a lead though. No, it just here. I feel the same way about if two pocket biggie didn't die.

[01:18:03] I don't know if a lot of these other rappers would have popped like that, you know, and then you say they're getting some butt. They would have shut it down. They would have shut it down. Yeah, I don't know. They shut it down. I'm just a Debbie Allen.

[01:18:15] I forgot her 73 years old happy birthday, Debbie. She's awesome as well. But yeah, we do a show about who wouldn't have been if somebody wouldn't have died. Because I know we could go on a long.

[01:18:27] So listen people, they would have never got opportunity ever ever got to have it. I mean, I don't know. I don't know if we would have been this gunco on Beyonce and Taylor Swift or Beyonce, for Michael, I had the dot. And one prince.

[01:18:41] Yeah, let me, let me go to break. I say something. I'm gonna be the same. Listen, we appreciate y'all rock. I'm just saying we don't know. Yeah, we all know. Listen, coming up, we got our brother Justin Adams with the Faith and Sports Report. And we got more.

[01:18:58] Let's get back to this music though. Right now, come on. Turn your videos up. Shots off through our brother down in Atlanta. Listen, I'm going to call him the king of Christian R&B. Get this Ken Jones in your mirror right now. Oh, yeah. Keep it locked.

[01:19:10] You're tuning into the fix. And the fix is in. Yep, that's a new Nicki Minaj featuring Tasha Cobbs, Leonard with that belessence. And that thing is ridiculous certified banger. Shots off the Tasha still building these relationships with these secular artists. And we pray for Nicki Minaj.

[01:19:27] We pray that again. We win. We win. Looking to push no foolishness. But we are looking to build relationships. And we pray that she is, you know, being able to be counseled, being able to be disciple by Spiritual Council, Pastor Elder Leager, decant somebody speaking to her life.

[01:19:45] And we're praying for a shift to happen in the music to work. It's not just one song or two songs on these albums. But it's majority on these projects. So yeah, I know a lot of people feel you know certain way. Mix emotions on and on listen.

[01:20:00] We got to continue to keep building relationships. Yeah. Let God be God. And I'm listening. Listen, salute to Tasha Cobb Leonard for not backing out on her and continue to build with her. Again, we reported to as well a dice.

[01:20:13] I remember just last year, Nicki Minaj was due to be at the B.T. awards. But she didn't know to be T. awards because Tasha Cobb Leonard was performing the same night. She said no right. I need to go support my sister because she always show me love.

[01:20:27] So I love that. That don't show you something because yeah, let's be very clear. You know, Nicki Minaj is a showstopper. She can walk the red carpet on B.T. awards. Believe me, see what she would have did it.

[01:20:38] So she's something that's clear or at least her good friendship. If that's what it is with Tasha Cobb Leonard had her go to the concert and get some work. Because we know Tasha delivered that that night. That's a single time through everything she brings in words of tracks.

[01:20:52] Yeah. She does. Yeah, shout out to both of us. Absolutely. Right song. Yep. John Houston, how good was he? If you have not heard his, you know, his latest track more than enough. Featuring Jordan Armstrong when I tell you, he's a super-towness singer.

[01:21:11] Visionary business man, fitness instructor, songwriter. John Houston does it all and he's back making music. And this is a banker he got out right now. You know, it's a true testament to some life experiences that he went through.

[01:21:28] He wanted to deliver in this power track more than enough. San Jesus is more than enough in his life. Yeah, he, he knew the cheat code. He wouldn't got Jordan Armstrong and they just do amazing job on this track.

[01:21:42] But it was good just to have the conversation with him and the guy he did today. Yeah, now you're right. And the crazy part is I didn't even really know about the physical fitness of the gym or anything like that.

[01:21:54] But I think it's a great way to inspire community. We talk about it all the time here on the show. Like it doesn't matter if God has this great calling in your life,

[01:22:03] if you don't have your health in order for you to actually go live out the call, then you know, you kind of defeat the purpose. So I think attacking, you know, the health side of the things like him and his wife

[01:22:15] having his own brand and like he was just saying like, you know, this is this fuels me, you know, like music feels me writing fuels me, people be better people is really what I love.

[01:22:26] So for those of you who need to, you know, get a little, get on track or whatever. He's got plans and programs and all kinds of stuff coaching, you name it. Like he's very well rounded and I think it all goes hand in hand, you know,

[01:22:38] spirit, yourality aspect, health and fitness. And obviously ministry, all goes, all goes together. So he's killing. It's a new year. Shout out to everybody. It's a brand new year. We love you. He's done. He's still in the gym. He's still doing your push ups full up, huh?

[01:22:55] What, I think. For all my big bombing, people get back. Yeah. Get back. Yeah. Stay stay consistent in the gym. Like you stay picking at the piece of chicken. Cool. You can get better this year. So easy. It's put up a shit up here.

[01:23:08] And I'm a clothing that you guys go, hit field free. This is your first time here in my voice. Just go through this why I'm paying if you'll see I'm a large specimen myself and I'm gonna come down.

[01:23:18] I'm just all the key-blooking everyday because as I keep coming down, I'm gonna say, where you all at? Yeah. I was talking about fitness all year. Okay. And John came over here and he said, yes, the church needs to address this. Come on now.

[01:23:29] Stop having so many big-bodied people in the church that are not exercising, that are not going clean and healthier and bringing some of the weight down, bringing some of the sugar down, talking about not having high blood pressure, diabetes, not working issues and you name it.

[01:23:46] A lot of it's because of the key we eat and the stuff that we're not doing on the back side, which is exercising and getting our temple. The time for the guy gave us an order. So again, please keep looking at the pictures. Look at me.

[01:24:01] Let me be the example. I'm telling you, by the time my birthday come up in June, it's gonna be a problem. And let's just don't let that go. Let us be back on that Stella game this year. Guys, I promise you, this might be the year.

[01:24:14] I might feel later. If I get this weight down like I know I care, I know that the last year. So I can tell even more. I'm not talking. Oh, I'm not talking. I'm not talking. I love it. You can do it. I'm here for it. Let's go.

[01:24:28] This time it's the year. It's kind of getting sick. Yeah, I agree. Because the enemy is using that against us. We have so many people who have a 19 who have calls on their life who are going to have an early. Some of these are premature deaths.

[01:24:48] What if God really has 30 more years on your life but you chose to not do the right thing? So you want to learn? It's no different than how we get off the path.

[01:24:57] We know God has a certain path for us and sometimes we get off that path and have to get back on. I believe it. I believe somebody's definitely going to cure it. I agree. I just, I don't want to show up in God.

[01:25:07] I'm like, so tell me, why are you here right now? I have 30 more years of stuff with you to do. What did you say? You never did. What can you put down? What was it? What was it? That joke was fried though, dice. I don't like it.

[01:25:27] That's a problem. I have yet to have a fried Twinkie fried Oreo fried butter. I didn't see it. What? I haven't had now a piece of this fried stuff. Why? Why? Somebody told me a fried stick. I said fried. Come here. There you see.

[01:25:43] I put them in the freezer. I'll tell you that, but I have not had. I ain't never had no fried. You have to do this dice because I know you, I know you do it. All you gotta do is make your homemade pancake batter.

[01:25:56] Get your junk snack a bar dip that time, get that. And the pancake. Can you just fry it? That's all it is. Yeah. That's all the Twinkie is to as well. It's just fried. But it's the whole pancake pancake batter. So that's why it tastes different.

[01:26:08] It ain't the box cup. But all the nasty stuff on it is the homemade. Yeah, yeah. That's all they do. I'm gonna have people raven and the crazy part is I have to go run and actually come a mile when I do it. But I'm good with that.

[01:26:22] You know, I run to eat. Some people just be running and I'm like, no, I know I eat all day. So, and I know sometimes I want to eat what I want to eat. But I want to try that one day.

[01:26:31] What are the Oreos that you can't go wrong? Fried Oreos fried Twinkie's fried. Try it. Is the cake, is the pancake batter with Oreo too? Absolutely. Okay. And then do ice cream. No, in certain places you get the maybe three or four Oreos.

[01:26:46] And they put a scoop of ice cream on it and then put a top of it and then some nice. See. All right. So, so yeah, indulge when you can. So that's a treat. It's a treat. That's why I call this a big party.

[01:27:00] I'm somewhere saying, wait a minute. He just told me to get on the treadmill. Didn't go tell me he's the fried Oreos. Absolutely. Don't fry the Oreos to you. Just wait now. And then when every night in with you, won't you a treat? Yeah, I see.

[01:27:14] I have to eat day. Go eat to some fried Oreos or some fried Twinkies or fried Twinkie. Yeah. You see, I want to run the block. Then run around the block. Don't go to sleep on it. Go run around the block. Yeah.

[01:27:27] But all y'all who buy in every single day and receive cups and snickers every day with your coffee and crispy green doughnuts every single day. You know what I'm talking about? Yeah, yeah. I got some Starbucks people that every day living cake. Yeah, I'm calling this.

[01:27:43] I'm eating sweet and lemon cake out of this. I'll be real with you. I don't know. I want to start a book. I don't know. You're going to put it in that thing. It's correct. It's correct. I'm confused. It's just joking. But it just has you. It's just.

[01:27:56] It's just. It's just. You get to get to. I mean, you might as well. You're going to eat one later. So we all know what we want to do. I know y'all feel conflict right now. We want to exercise and we want to be big about it.

[01:28:09] We want you to exercise and we want you to get your body together. We want you to not have to go to the doctor and have all these health complications. So I think that is the man go and that's what Jesus will want. So let's be very clear.

[01:28:21] We're never stopping looking at us. He's telling you how look at Jesus. Please. Please look at Jesus. Jesus. Jesus. Jesus. Yes. That's why it goes in that tree. You ain't got no face. You know I was rolling through here.

[01:28:36] But you showing up like you really got face, which leaves all sticking out. And a nap is a fig on here. A die. Death. You will never ever die. Have a great day, Kings and Quies. We love y'all. We go catch on tomorrow or win in Wednesday.

[01:28:51] Uh, yeah. No, we got another exclusive. Shout out. We don't get our brother in the studio tomorrow. Shout out to a minutes movement. Myster. All right. Master. Master. We'll be joining us tomorrow and uh, Shout out to the dice going to take y'all to church.

[01:29:05] She got another time for. Oh yeah. She got it. She got a real topic with y'all tomorrow. I want to tap in because uh, So we all think this enemy's supposed to be y'all. Footstool. She got some questions. I guess that's like some questions for y'all. We're talking.

[01:29:19] Copic. Spirit. You detox all like y'all know how we do it. We go catch y'all tomorrow. Have a great day. Continue to show the level of Christ. As always remember to stay focused on turning your negative into a positive. Jesus Christ is always the answer. Kingdom of Vance,

[01:29:34] Michigan always be your goal. The fix is in. We out. Feature.
