[00:20:03] Talk a little bit about your musical journey like where did it start for you when you talk

[00:20:09] about producing being an artist you're very gifted with playing multiple instruments

[00:20:13] like talk us through that process before we talk about everything you've already

[00:20:17] accomplished.

[00:20:18] Okay I mean my journey is a long journey.

[00:20:22] So I start where I started is as a younging you know being growing up in a musical household

[00:20:31] you know I had a parent you know she was my mother she was like a manager of musicians

[00:20:38] and her thing was putting these musicians together and that's how a lot of these

[00:20:44] groups got created in her time.

[00:20:46] You know she always had the household like my household was always the place where

[00:20:51] the musicians come it's like the whole meet and greet type let's get together and go jam

[00:20:57] over and miss P house and you know you get there you never know who you gonna meet.

[00:21:02] This is how earth went fire crown high, B T express and all those groups in those times

[00:21:07] all met each other through that coming and going passing but in my household we all

[00:21:12] had to learn instruments you know as a younging I took music classes also in school

[00:21:19] you know my upbringing in school I had older brother that played drums my brother

[00:21:23] Bobey my brothers in the play different instruments you know and I had a music

[00:21:28] teacher named stick Evans who was my teacher for four years when I was in

[00:21:33] elementary school and all the way up and he just taught me how to be multi-task

[00:21:39] or piano drums you know and other instruments guitar bass and things

[00:21:45] like that so fast forward.

[00:21:47] Because that's a whole movie within itself so as time went on I started getting into

[00:21:55] what we call the lifestyle of hip hop and the lifestyle of hip hop wasn't even

[00:21:59] really hip hop then to me you know it wasn't even something that I had my

[00:22:04] mind set on to becoming a producer or rapper or whatever it was just the

[00:22:08] culture at the time you know learning how to write graffiti learning

[00:22:11] how to break dance you know understanding the music and studying it so

[00:22:16] you know when you be you like a student of the game you become like a part of the

[00:22:20] game so I became a part of the game and one thing led to another I started

[00:22:25] meeting a lot of great people on my journey you know I meant like from

[00:22:28] beatboxing from Dougie Fresh to Biz Markey RIP to Biz Markey you know

[00:22:34] Razzelle, Beatbox wise you know living proof it was a lot of these guys that

[00:22:39] was like really really like motivating me to learn to be the best human beatbox

[00:22:45] I can possibly be then I started listening to these hip hop songs and my

[00:22:50] brother used to go uptown and get these cassettes then there was cassettes

[00:22:54] players you know for a lot of people on this day yeah we had these little

[00:22:58] round things called cassette tapes you know and that's what music was played

[00:23:02] on you know and they come back with all these guys from uptown making I

[00:23:07] guess those was like mix tapes in those days you know and we just sit

[00:23:10] around and listen to they rhyming styles so the beats with the DJ cutting

[00:23:14] stuff like that so I started learning that and then fast forward a little bit

[00:23:18] more and as time went on I started be doing the him a beatbox with multiple

[00:23:24] like local groups and I started wanting to run to then I start picking a

[00:23:29] pen and pad up trying to see if I could connect some words I found that

[00:23:32] I was pretty good at that then I started trying to be an artist at

[00:23:36] that point but then you know things happen you know I had a partner

[00:23:41] DJ Omega Supreme he was my DJ and you know the name I grew was Dr. Darryl D

[00:23:46] DJ and Megan Supreme at the time and to make a supreme you know he passed away

[00:23:50] you know our P2s and Megan Supreme and that discouraged me from being an

[00:23:55] artist you know and we had a deal looking with hurricane records you

[00:24:00] know it was something that was a little promising then you know but when

[00:24:04] that happened to him you know I totally lost focus on the artistry and

[00:24:08] I went into this dark place and I've been there for a long long time but you

[00:24:13] know God had plans for me you know and the thing that he still allowed me to

[00:24:18] do within being in that dark place was able to you know still develop myself

[00:24:24] as a musician and I end up discovering DR. Priyatha producer so when I

[00:24:30] discovered DR. Priyatha producer I stayed on the production side of

[00:24:34] everything at that point in my life and I started making beats and then I

[00:24:39] started passing these beats out to local you know rappers around the way and one

[00:24:44] thing I know I started hanging out with different people and they were

[00:24:47] taking me to studio from studios then I started interning at you know

[00:24:51] studios and learning how to try to become I guess at that time a studio

[00:24:57] guy I guess you know I didn't even know what an engineer was but those

[00:25:01] days they had these things they had this thing called intern and I didn't you

[00:25:05] know I think I did my first interns in the studio making coffee and cleaning

[00:25:09] floors you know so I became a great coffee maker that's why to this day I

[00:25:13] can make an amazing cup of coffee so that that was a good part about it but

[00:25:19] I say to say that I did learn some things you know I learned how to

[00:25:24] keep a studio clean you know I learned how to you know why your

[00:25:29] studios learn the two inch rails I learned how to understand the mixing

[00:25:34] consoles and the highs and lows in the mids you know I know if I'm talking in

[00:25:39] a different language now when I start getting into the technical side of it

[00:25:42] but that taught me sound you know learning how to listen to records and

[00:25:48] understand the parts what musicians play on a record what part need to be

[00:25:52] loud how to vote who's need to land on a record you know so I had

[00:25:56] pretty much good upbringing on experiencing you know my internship

[00:26:00] and you know running back and forth to different studios and then also making

[00:26:05] records and not knowing I was making records I don't know if that sound

[00:26:09] right and I'm explaining a little bit more in detail what I mean about making

[00:26:14] records and then I started putting beat patterns on drum machines and all

[00:26:20] these other studios I was going to believe it not knowing that the

[00:26:24] session that will come in next or whoever will come in that day here those

[00:26:28] beat pad is a continuum building on it and those become people records wow so

[00:26:33] when I was hearing that I'm sorry that sound like that beat I made on that

[00:26:36] drum machine at this studio all that sound like something I did and I used

[00:26:40] to hear that a lot because they used to be at a lot of studios you know and

[00:26:43] then I started understanding what I was doing and then from there then the

[00:26:47] producer D.R. Perry has started coming more into a full funding you

[00:26:51] know my mom's paid attention she said look I'm gonna introduce you to

[00:26:54] somebody she introduced me to Abbey Rosenfeld who was the manager of Madonna

[00:26:59] Debbie Gibson and Village People and all those guys in those days he started

[00:27:03] mentoring me and start teaching me you know my position or what I was doing

[00:27:07] for as a producer and understanding what to do what not to do and you

[00:27:11] know I took a lot of good notes and from that point then I had got myself

[00:27:16] together then I built studio in my house then one thing led to another

[00:27:20] then I started producing people around away and they was getting signed and

[00:27:24] deals was happening and things was moving forward and then I started

[00:27:27] meeting more people in the music industry with deals and I'm doing singles

[00:27:31] I'm doing albums and you know God was so amazing working with me and my

[00:27:36] growth just started happening and happening and happening next to

[00:27:39] you know I didn't even know I was gonna make one record but more or

[00:27:42] less to sell over 30 million records as a producer wow so that that that

[00:27:48] was a journey but I'm so so thankful for that so today is called the second

[00:27:56] win for me it's like okay now you got a chance to revisit the artistry side

[00:28:00] now I could get out there and talk crazy and act crazy and do that but that

[00:28:05] ain't my walk no more you know my walk is like you know giving God the

[00:28:08] glory you know so I said you know what I put it all on the line for that

[00:28:12] any day and that's what I've been at with since and that's why you got the

[00:28:16] new dr period and that's why you got the music you're getting from me and it's

[00:28:21] getting all right to help lift someone and help you know save somebody from

[00:28:25] going through something or maybe be an answer to somebody question you know

[00:28:31] listen man I'm still kind of in awe and sometimes my brother sometimes

[00:28:36] focus come through with people on the show and I'm like okay I don't know

[00:28:39] who that is but we're gonna have a good interview you I know exactly who

[00:28:44] you are and so I made a comment off-air to focus like this man has been a part of

[00:28:50] music that it will never leave the earth until God wipes earth away like like so

[00:28:56] your impact is it's almost unimaginable you know I'm saying especially for me as

[00:29:00] an artist or just a lover of all things hip-hop and my question was just

[00:29:06] focused I was like what happened like like he's on the God path right now

[00:29:11] like what was that what happened like what was that transition and because there

[00:29:15] was a time where you weren't absolutely focused on doing you know things of the

[00:29:19] Lord or building in a different way or creating music you know we've been able

[00:29:23] to listen to some of the things you put out and I'm like I know the whole

[00:29:26] world wants to hear this story so I'm on pins and needles waiting well I

[00:29:31] y'all guys actually be the first to really hear the actual detail of what

[00:29:38] I'm about to say and it was a turning point in my life where I was doing you

[00:29:44] know music so much and I was connected to a lot of what we call good and bad people

[00:29:49] and I'll make a long story short because I don't want to go too deep into it

[00:29:56] I end up getting into some trouble right and when I got into this trouble I

[00:30:03] prayed and I prayed and prayed and prayed and God it seemed like God wasn't

[00:30:08] hearing me at the time and that's what it felt like then our next thing I know

[00:30:14] notice that things was working against me and then I started looking at 15 years

[00:30:20] in the prison system and I was like how can a person who don't get in

[00:30:26] trouble with the law and don't have a criminal record and all this get so

[00:30:31] many years right out the gate is not like you know I committed the most

[00:30:35] murderous crime in the world but it was something wrong so when I was looking at

[00:30:42] 15 years and I'm sitting on right is island and why I'm really telling this

[00:30:46] story so I'm looking at 15 years I'm sitting on right is island and I'm

[00:30:49] talking to God I'm like God you know I know I don't belong here because I

[00:30:53] don't feel comfortable here and God was not hearing me I I know he was

[00:30:58] here with me but it felt like he wasn't here and when I went to the judge the

[00:31:04] judge said look it doesn't matter what it's gonna be we're gonna we're gonna push

[00:31:07] you back again and then the prosecutor was like you know you want to do

[00:31:10] something you're gonna do something and then I get a phone call and I make the

[00:31:17] phone call and I talk to my brother my brother said man let me tell you

[00:31:21] something man keep praying keep praying keep praying because I'm gonna tell you

[00:31:26] right now if you don't pray on this I mean nothing is gonna change and I

[00:31:31] listen to him and then I kept doing it kept doing this God saying all right I'm

[00:31:35] gonna give you a second chance but you better pull it together then I went down

[00:31:38] to that courthouse and he said case dismissed miss I said wow God and they

[00:31:47] let me go and when they let me go I said okay go I'm gonna get my hat

[00:31:50] together and right then in there I said you know what let me stop let me stop

[00:31:54] whatever I'm doing and let me go ahead and get myself together so I goes and

[00:31:59] then I decided because I own houses so so you know what I'm gonna move and I'm

[00:32:05] gonna change my location so I moved to change my location and when I changed

[00:32:10] my location what what happened is I ran into a church refugee church of Christ

[00:32:16] in Pleasantville New Jersey so I go in there and then the pastor come up to

[00:32:21] me and said to me wow it's something about you you're gonna do great things and

[00:32:26] I ain't you know I thought this man was just saying stuff I didn't know what

[00:32:30] that was about he said no it's something about you then I say I know I kept

[00:32:34] coming every Sunday kept coming then they had this thing called the

[00:32:37] beginners classes where you go and then you got to do the beginners classes

[00:32:41] and show that you truly want to be in this place of worship and next thing I

[00:32:47] got saved then I got saved that I started reading more on the scriptures and

[00:32:51] then God was working on me different God said look I'm gonna build you something

[00:32:55] else you think what you got is all this and that this is nothing compared to what

[00:33:01] I want to do with you so when I started realizing that God was working on

[00:33:05] something he said stop making records for a minute and just focus on

[00:33:09] placements so I said well I'm not gonna make records in my head you know

[00:33:14] from where I come from that's how I eat so I'm like you tell me stop making

[00:33:19] records then that's like stop stop eating you know but God is in control once

[00:33:24] again so I started doing placements and then I did so many placements that it

[00:33:30] was so mind-blowing I was like wow God done changed my life forever and I

[00:33:34] didn't understand the publishing world was way bigger than the record making

[00:33:37] world so once I start discovering certain things in that area then I

[00:33:41] started staying in staying in here because I'm still not done with you and

[00:33:45] then once he said to me okay I'm not done with you this is the new vibe you had

[00:33:49] your deal with Sony as a label now go and open up another label and make sure

[00:33:55] that it's an inspirational label and not only that's gonna be an inspirational

[00:33:58] label you're gonna be the first artist and I saw I gotta be the first

[00:34:03] other that mean I got to get up on stage let me knock at the rap I mean

[00:34:08] I got to go back working now I started thinking about other things I had to do

[00:34:11] that comes with the whole concept of being an artist so God said no worry

[00:34:15] because if you don't do these things you're gonna get fat old and beat up

[00:34:20] and it's gonna be all the way so okay so at this point I took on a task and

[00:34:27] what God did to me he said look listen just make records every day or every

[00:34:33] other day and when he gave me that ability to go in the studio and believe

[00:34:38] myself as an artist I couldn't stop making records so when I first heard my

[00:34:42] first record that I made giving him a glory I couldn't even understand what

[00:34:49] was going on but then when I played for people everybody's moved like I just

[00:34:53] did a new JZ record

[00:35:03] people like yo you talking about God but you know just for a quick second I didn't

[00:35:08] even really realize that I was listening to a gospel record mm-hmm I said really

[00:35:13] he said yeah you did so well like yeah I didn't feel like I was being preached

[00:35:17] to I didn't feel like it was it just felt like he was talking to me but I

[00:35:20] knew I was getting something out of it because I was feeling something from it

[00:35:24] and then I heard that I saw okay maybe they just giving me that cuz who I am

[00:35:28] or whatever then I started make some more extra more records and I did my

[00:35:32] little thing called a taste maker cat you know concept sent out the record and

[00:35:37] let people tell you that really don't know you like that and then give you honest

[00:35:40] opinion and all the feedback came back you'll keep going keep going keep going

[00:35:44] so I got so excited I said I'm dropping a record every week so I'm making

[00:35:49] records and I just started dropping records every week I said I'm dropping a

[00:35:53] record I'm dropping the EP every every quarter I just started going crazy

[00:35:57] and I've been on admission I said you know to 2024 is gonna be the year

[00:36:00] that I really go go crazy on this and that's what I decided to do and that's

[00:36:06] only to say to God get the glory and anything I do to God be the glory and

[00:36:10] is because he took me from a situation that could have changed my life for the

[00:36:14] worst and uplift me and made it for the better so now instead of me sitting

[00:36:19] around destroying and breaking down everything I got an opportunity now to

[00:36:24] build stuff up so this is how I came to the path of you know being on the

[00:36:29] path I'm in now because I got saved and God is the most important thing in my

[00:36:33] life right now and I'm so happy to share that with everybody and I got a voice I

[00:36:38] got a platform I'm able to do more and if I can help somebody you know what I do

[00:36:43] and motivate them and get closer to God this is my journey and this is my

[00:37:38] a space for so long just doing this mainstream regular hip hop a lot of

[00:37:44] it a lot of you know they was like yeah you doing a lot of God cuffing

[00:37:48] that's what they was calling me God cuffing wow you doing a lot of God

[00:37:53] cuffing and and I said you know what I'm still gonna pray for your loving cousin

[00:37:58] that's all I say to back to them I'm gonna pray for your loving cousin so you

[00:38:05] know what it's okay you know and um the garbage showing me and what he did show

[00:38:10] me that I'm so so so happy that he let me see is that he's like look listen

[00:38:15] I'm separating from a lot of people you ain't losing up those people that's

[00:38:20] doing what they're doing and not understanding your growth is because they

[00:38:24] don't need to understand it just need to see the results so I took that and one

[00:38:30] of the things that I heard in all of it he was like when a tree grows you never

[00:38:33] hear it you know and you just see it you know one minute branches next minute

[00:38:38] full of leaves you know you never heard none of that stuff happening so it

[00:38:43] can happen he said that's exactly what I'm gonna do with you so I took that

[00:38:48] and I ran with it and it was okay because now it made me understand hey look

[00:38:53] listen you going back to the finish line to run this race again but this time

[00:38:58] you're gonna do it for a reason now you got a reason to talk now you got a

[00:39:01] bit of a run now you got a reason to do all the things you're doing you

[00:39:05] know because we God is working in your life right now it's it's real important

[00:39:10] that you understand that you know God is gonna do something for you that

[00:39:16] everybody's not gonna expect but they're gonna appreciate and respect so I took

[00:39:22] that and I said you know what I ain't gonna let nothing stop me and I used to

[00:39:26] get a lot of people yo what's this about what's going on yo you ain't doing

[00:39:30] hardcore yo what are you doing with the gangsta stuff right yo come on you

[00:39:33] you're Mr. Annie up Mr. how about some hardcore you started

[00:39:37] games brook let's do that you know I got all that music is there we doing

[00:39:43] against the gospel now what's up come on now you know so so at this time and point

[00:39:49] they they couldn't understand that but you know it was to a place where I knew

[00:39:57] that the transition from certain people was gonna happen I knew that you know

[00:40:02] I think it on our back you know slash I know I'm gonna get a lot of your debugging

[00:40:07] yo I don't know what's up with him he's doing what happened he's messing

[00:40:12] his career up whatever they were saying but you know I still got everything

[00:40:15] I came in with in plus more come on now even done with me you know and I'm just

[00:40:21] to me I'm just getting started and when I look and then I see numbers and I

[00:40:26] look at everything I'm like oh if y'all want to compare what's wrong in this

[00:40:31] that so then go back and look at numbers then you see what God is doing in my

[00:40:34] life you know but then outside of that it's really all about the whole

[00:40:38] concept and understanding that your message are deep you know all the

[00:40:42] messages never get respected they just got to pass the word God's giving you the

[00:40:46] word to pass on so go do your job you know this just look good in guard size

[00:40:50] don't worry about man or about women don't worry about people worry about

[00:40:53] thoughts don't worry about pay everybody that one it doesn't matter is what God

[00:40:58] thinks and what you're gonna be loyal to and what you gonna be committed

[00:41:02] so now they see me yeah they like why he really real about he gonna charge

[00:41:06] he gonna fight and study he really he's tight with his past you know they see me

[00:41:10] on it and that's the way you supposed to be because if you're gonna walk in God

[00:41:14] don't don't have stuff and can't search for God's you know and then I tell people

[00:44:34] but at the same time I'm not but more I'm more I'm more shocked because it's

[00:44:40] God music rocking like this and then you're rocking with me and then when

[00:44:45] I get that call and response and I could be at say you know say got a whole

[00:44:48] nothing and they sing and got a whole another leg so another leg and they

[00:44:53] with me and I'm like oh yeah I'm like your car we rocking like this yeah it

[00:44:58] gets me charged but the dope thing about it so you know I put out a whole

[00:45:03] nothing I put out oh wow I put out do you know I put out we are one I put out

[00:45:10] shout walk with them break through deliverance like I done put out probably

[00:45:18] about yeah hold another lit 10 to 12 song so far on a journey like this just

[00:45:25] putting them out and I got a lot more so this month I got more records that I'm

[00:45:30] dropping you know for March April May June in July and then in the month of

[00:45:36] July I'm gonna drop some more records for the rest of the year and ride

[00:45:39] the whole rest of the year out I got EPs coming singles I got short films that

[00:45:44] I've been working on yeah so it's been a lot and I'm in video mode right now so

[00:45:50] you're gonna get a lot of more video content I've been putting out a lot of

[00:45:54] performance videos just showing everybody that I'm out here I'm running

[00:45:58] around and I ain't afraid to run up in your hood and I ain't afraid to

[00:46:02] talk about God and you just don't have a good time rocking with DR period

[00:46:07] and I'm and I'm recruiting right now for his team you know some more artists is to

[00:46:12] come with me on this journey you know so yeah I got Q the Prophet right now you

[00:46:17] know so I've been working on a couple more artists so you know definitely Q

[00:46:21] the Prophet is somebody that's coming next you gotta check for them and yeah

[00:46:26] we bought the rock hard so we already did our first record together so I'm

[00:46:30] excited about that I'm even thinking about just doing a whole EP with him

[00:46:34] and having that ready to go and just drop singles and then drop the EP and yeah it's

[00:46:41] a great journey you know inspiration rock boy the label is definitely very

[00:46:46] active I should say very active you know we got a lot of things coming in

[00:46:50] and people are really excited about what we're doing and we can't even

[00:46:55] hear hip hop too so that's a whole nother way the fact that we still

[00:47:01] got the music rocking the same but the content on it is glorifying God our

[00:47:05] body and it feels so good because you get motivated to get that hip hop feeling

[00:47:11] and you also get that positive message in that word at the same time I got a

[00:47:18] question no appreciate you appreciate you sharing that first of all appreciate

[00:47:22] you coming on here and definitely breaking down you know everything

[00:47:26] that God is doing in your life but what is that one thing maybe a fan or

[00:47:31] friend said to you after you said after you told him like like hey this is what

[00:47:36] I'm doing like what did they say like a positive note how you affected them you

[00:47:43] know I'm saying like what's some something that stands out to you where

[00:47:46] you're like man as confirmation for me you know because it's scary when you

[00:47:49] make that switch everybody knows like oh yeah you don't want to lose your

[00:47:53] friends you don't want to lose your fan base you don't really know like

[00:47:56] what life looks like you don't know what God is doing you're just being

[00:47:59] led and being obedient but like what's something somebody said to you and you

[00:48:03] were like man I really see kind of a little bit what God is doing right now

[00:48:07] and that's confirmation that I need to keep on well you know what really gets

[00:48:12] me and what really keeps me motivated to keep on moving is that I did it in

[00:48:18] the concept that I get calls from people I don't hear from when I get

[00:48:24] those phone calls I'd be like wow I was like you call in and they like yo I just

[00:48:30] wanted to call you and say man I like what I see you doing man I think what you're

[00:48:35] doing man is don't stop the it's doing something for me they don't tell me

[00:48:40] what but they just let me know and then I get those calls so much before I

[00:48:45] was getting a yo you bugging you this while and now it's like yo D man I

[00:48:51] see you man like yo you really got me reading you got me you know

[00:48:56] picking a Bible up I hear all kinds of different things I was like yo that's

[00:49:00] good you know because when person find God they don't understand like your life

[00:49:03] totally changed like yeah it's scary you know because we don't like to come

[00:49:09] out of what we comfortable in you know like I say to all of my homies is

[00:49:13] like yeah you know what you know you'd rather deal with what you don't know

[00:49:18] hesitate you know a lot of times these guys they now used to deal with

[00:49:26] the life the way it is but now they feel like yo you know what I come around you

[00:49:31] because I don't drink I don't smoke I don't do none of this stuff and I've

[00:49:34] never done that even before I met God you know so it was just something I just

[00:49:39] didn't do because I felt that everybody I know who did it was one minute it was

[00:49:43] one way next minute there was another way and I always said to myself I

[00:49:47] don't ever want to be like that I don't ever want to have that problem because

[00:49:52] that to me that was a big problem they you know because I see people turn on and

[00:49:57] turn off from it so I say God that's what they do but I'm not gonna court up

[00:50:01] in that so you know even I'm leading by example you know cuz I try to show my

[00:50:07] brothers in them that you know we can come from this hard place we can

[00:50:11] come from you know a struggling level but we can also grow and we don't

[00:50:16] also after everything always mean growing money and success like spiritually

[00:50:21] like sometimes your spiritual growth is greater than any reward of finances and

[00:50:26] any type of item or product or land or houses and stuff like that you have

[00:50:34] like spiritually if you good with God like you're the richest person on the

[00:50:39] world you're the most like greatest person in the world because your

[00:50:43] spirituals right you know and it will take a lot to break you down and most

[00:50:48] people don't understand the power of the spiritual side because they don't use it

[00:50:53] as much as they should you know they rather walk into everything with they

[00:50:57] they're thinking they way you know how to switch things like that but you know

[00:51:02] my journey of having people call me is the main and you know just to see

[00:51:08] people who I introduced myself to at the first time seen me perform and get

[00:51:12] from it and then after the show when you got to walk through the crowd and

[00:51:15] they give you handshakes you did your thing you know God bless you brother and

[00:51:20] I'm quite sure they probably never say that to nobody you know because they

[00:51:25] know what I stand for and they felt comfortable to say it to me and to

[00:51:28] me that's a lot that mean the word of me and that gets me going you know just

[00:51:41] all they want to talk about how many you know

[00:51:43] many records I did and how many people you know I mean fights we had in the club

[00:52:10] having a good spirit is nothing wrong with just feeling good in God like

[00:52:19] a problem with connecting that together and I hope God will not let me just

[00:52:24] say I love for God to continue on using me to connect that dot and bring

[00:52:30] that bridge closer and create that gap and make it tighter and show everybody

[00:52:56] the other mainstream artists who have done inspiration music you know we

[00:53:00] know a chance to rapper has done some selective songs we know Kanye West

[00:53:05] had a you know collective of three different projects he's done we have

[00:53:08] project hat on here who's starting to work with faith-based hip-hop artists

[00:53:12] what's your thoughts on that and are you looking to maybe work with some of

[00:53:16] those artists in the future or even just have conversation or spirituality and

[00:53:20] how they see scripture and how does that line up with the music that

[00:53:23] they continue to do well you know personally I think they they they

[00:53:29] definitely had a lot to do with me developing up my courage in the music

[00:53:33] you know and I watch them do what they felt that was the right thing to do

[00:53:39] and I and I find that like I respect that I was like wow that's great with

[00:53:43] them to to feel what they you know what they feeling it and actually bring it

[00:53:48] to the forefront and that just made me understand I can do the same too I

[00:53:52] can feel it I should bring it to the forefront and I and I think they

[00:53:56] do they do they do a real good job at what they do for us when he in

[00:54:00] that mode you know but you know me I just see that my my journey gonna be just

[00:54:06] a little bit different because I don't think there's nothing else for me to

[00:54:09] get into but that right now so I think once you get me you gonna be having

[00:54:14] people are very very long time and anybody that I work with I'm bringing

[00:54:18] in through you're gonna have them for very very long time so there's a lot

[00:54:22] of little missing pieces I think that should be brought to the table but

[00:54:26] overall those guys did a great job introducing the job of the people and

[00:54:32] introducing the understanding that you know your your content and your

[00:54:36] writing ability don't always have to be targeted towards somebody in

[00:54:40] competition all the time you know yeah it can literally be you know about

[00:54:44] you know glorifying God and giving God his you know respect as you should at

[00:54:50] all times and I like that you know I like that and just me finding out

[00:54:55] about a couple other artists in the community you know like excuse me like

[00:55:02] the cray and all those guys and busy and all those different artists you know

[00:55:07] discovering these guys I'm like wow these brothers is really though like it

[00:55:12] makes me motivated you know just to see that you know you got other brothers

[00:55:16] on the front line on the mission just as well as yourself you know what you

[00:55:20] want to be there so yeah I get I get motivated cuz you know Kanye West I

[00:55:24] knew him for years and stuff yeah a couple of names you mentioned I already

[00:55:29] know these guys personally so you know I always I watched a lot of those guys

[00:55:34] coming to build I mean we in Kanye West be passing each other in the hallways

[00:55:38] of rock and follow records and like man I'm going you know they gonna hear me as

[00:55:43] artists DSL no they're gonna hear you and back then I used to be like man

[00:55:47] it's gonna be tough cuz they got a lot of artists up here so we up here just

[00:55:52] doing beats and they got to do some more now you want to be an artist I'm like

[00:55:57] yeah that's gonna be a little tough but I give him so much respect because I

[00:56:01] watch him come from the very beginning and I watch him be so determined to be

[00:56:05] heard in he actually did this thing and I was so proud of him and you know

[01:06:43] course you can go to iceland and watch the northern lights i've always

[01:06:46] wanted to see the northern lights um i don't like that it's kind of cool

[01:07:49] there playa del carmen is where we go in mexico it is inexpensive it is outside of cancun so it's

[01:07:56] it ain't cancun it's it's it's more quiet but they also have uh an area called fifth avenue

[01:08:02] outside of playa del carmen we always stay at the hilton it is an all inclusive resort off of

[01:08:07] the beach but in walking distance you have all of your your stores where you like to shop

[01:08:12] you know if you're an american and then on on the other side of this um hilton you have

[01:08:18] all of the authentic mexican uh places to shop and eat on that location you have more than five

[01:08:24] restaurants so if you just like i don't want to leave i just want to stay here and y'all just

[01:08:28] serve me up everything i want and need you can stay right there so shout out to all things

[01:08:32] hilton and if you got hilton rewards then it ain't that but love it's easy

[01:09:18] significant opens it up they see a picture of you just pop up on it like you know i'm saying

[01:09:26] like it takes uh it takes some thought into going to something like that so yeah shout out to uh

[01:09:43] cabins but just going outdoors and just doing something different maybe do some four-wheeling

[01:10:12] horseback riding or something you know that's that's a good one one of the things we do and

[01:10:16] not just on valentine's day um anytime there's an event so we bought the there's like a wagon

[01:10:22] um like for outdoors we have the two uh fold-up chairs with the covering on top and so you're able

[01:10:29] to like you can throw two of those in a wagon with the cooler and we have the picnic basket

[01:10:33] that holds whatever you whatever you got in there and we do go and sit at parks quite often

[01:10:38] and just have time out my husband and i and that's something that i think is super romantic

[01:10:43] having a picnic it's just upscale picnic you know when you're out at the park and uh shout

[01:10:48] out to chicago there are some beautiful parks here um so yeah no i think that's one that you could do

[01:10:54] especially if you're like well we don't want to spend a lot of money this valentine's day or we

[01:10:58] don't have a lot of money to spend make you a couple sandwiches put you a couple drinks in the

[01:11:03] freezer get you a couple glasses and all your little sweets and snacks you know you can sit

[01:11:08] out there take your laptop and now you can share your earbuds eldre and i do this often where

[01:11:12] you can connect two sets of earbuds y'all can just sit outside somewhere focus i'm glad

[01:11:16] you brought that up like you can just go outside and have an adventure somewhere it doesn't have to be

[01:11:20] like a three thousand dollar experience it could just be maybe you're going to spend like a hundred

[01:11:26] bucks and and then go get your couple chairs and drive somewhere else other than outside of

[01:11:30] your other than in your house drive away from the house and go sit outside for two hours somewhere

[01:11:36] yeah and people watch too because we like doing that maybe now i was in absolutely trying to

[01:11:40] figure out what people are doing

[01:11:44] acting like y'all just chilling y'all y'all see see what's going on in the neighborhood

[01:11:50] i seen that red car go by here right right i saw somebody leave at your back doing you know our

[01:11:55] garages we could see everybody's like whose car is that to your point or who is that okay yeah
