[00:01:50] Because of the Super Bowl

[00:01:51] So I feel like people are just going back to work today

[00:01:54] Yeah, it was a call off

[00:01:55] You said it was national

[00:01:56] It was, 14 million

[00:02:24] That ain't cool

[00:02:25] Now if you put your PTO

[00:02:28] Your PTO

[00:02:29] It's your money

[00:02:31] I'm with you on that

[00:02:33] I ain't talking about the people

[00:02:34] I'm talking about the people that just called

[00:02:35] To call the hotline

[00:02:36] Yeah, to call the hotline

[00:02:37] Early into mountain

[00:02:38] When there ain't nobody there

[00:02:39] And people had to come in

[00:02:40] And listen to that voice message

[00:02:42] Like oh, Tasha ain't coming in today

[00:02:44] They're faking their voice

[00:02:45] They're faking their voice

[00:02:46] They're like

[00:02:48] Go beyond me

[00:02:49] Yes

[00:02:50] Right

[00:02:51] That's wrong

[00:02:52] That's so wrong

[00:02:53] But all you act is out there

[00:02:54] Y'all need to take some

[00:02:55] Some theater classes

[00:02:56] And go be an act you for real

[00:02:57] If that's what y'all want to do

[00:02:58] And live your best life

[00:02:59] Oh my goodness

[00:03:01] Yeah, stop faking it

[00:03:02] Just tell me you ain't coming

[00:03:04] I ain't gonna be there

[00:03:05] That's how you say that

[00:03:06] You're gonna work tomorrow

[00:03:07] Nope, don't put me on this guy

[00:03:08] I won't be here

[00:03:09] Now your business just won't

[00:03:10] I'm not even gonna make it

[00:03:11] Yeah

[00:03:12] Yeah, put the slip in

[00:03:13] I just need y'all to put the slip in

[00:03:15] Ahead of time

[00:03:16] Y'all need to slip in

[00:03:17] Y'all need to slip in

[00:03:18] Y'all need to slip in

[00:03:19] Y'all need to slip in

[00:03:20] Y'all need to slip in

[00:03:21] Y'all need to slip in

[00:03:22] Y'all need to slip in

[00:03:23] Y'all knew the supermodel

[00:03:24] Was going down three weeks ago

[00:03:25] You could've been

[00:03:26] Put that slip in

[00:03:27] Yeah, you could

[00:03:28] For everybody else

[00:03:29] So that way, you know

[00:03:30] Coverage can be clear

[00:03:31] But uh

[00:03:32] Listen, we love you

[00:03:33] I'm just joking

[00:03:34] Shout out to everybody

[00:03:35] You can receive a joke

[00:03:36] Shout out to y'all

[00:03:37] Once again, you're tuning

[00:03:38] To The Fix

[00:03:39] And of course our mission

[00:03:40] Is to expose the culture

[00:03:41] To positive but

[00:03:42] Relevant music

[00:03:43] That keeps Jesus Christ

[00:03:44] At the center of the message

[00:03:45] Listen, thank y'all

[00:03:46] For waking up with us

[00:03:47] On this Tip Toe Tuesday

[00:03:48] When I tell y'all

[00:03:49] It's gonna be fun today.

[00:03:51] Shout out to everybody.

[00:03:52] It's love a week.

[00:03:53] Shout out to everybody who's gonna buy them.

[00:03:55] They look significant.

[00:03:56] Love a week.

[00:03:57] Yeah, it's love a week.

[00:03:58] I just feel like, you know,

[00:04:00] it's babies being made this week.

[00:04:02] It's loving the air.

[00:04:03] I pray they all married babies,

[00:04:05] but you know, it is what it is.

[00:04:06] We ain't gonna run away from, you know,

[00:04:08] that a lot of situations happen around Valentine's week,

[00:04:13] you know, that just happened.

[00:04:15] But I prayed that, yeah,

[00:04:16] that couples are, you know, being fruitful.

[00:04:19] Like God, you know, attended for it to be.

[00:04:22] But yeah, just that in self,

[00:04:24] we know this is one of those holidays

[00:04:26] that money is spent.

[00:04:28] Let's be very clear.

[00:04:30] I don't know what that number is, Dice,

[00:04:31] but I'm pretty sure it's somewhere

[00:04:33] in the millions of gifts

[00:04:34] that will be brought this week worldwide,

[00:04:37] everywhere you go when you talk about Valentine's Day.

[00:04:39] So we gonna talk about it.

[00:04:41] Some of the top 20,

[00:04:43] top gifts to buy for Valentine's Day for 2024.

[00:04:47] That's our real talk conversation.

[00:04:49] So yeah, I mean,

[00:04:49] you guys just gonna have a little fun.

[00:04:51] Let y'all know where they go shopping at.

[00:04:52] Shots out there, everybody got a little change

[00:04:54] in their savings though.

[00:04:55] Don't go broke now,

[00:04:56] because we know we talk about cuffing season

[00:04:59] usually ends about a week after this.

[00:05:01] Well, I think this is the reason why it ends.

[00:05:03] It's if the gift you buy me

[00:05:05] was worth my season of cuffing,

[00:05:09] then you get to stay.

[00:05:10] It wasn't worth all the time.

[00:05:13] That is a wrong, so many ways that it's wrong.

[00:05:18] This is it.

[00:05:19] This is your test.

[00:05:21] Conditional love.

[00:05:22] You telling me you got conditional love

[00:05:23] out in these streets?

[00:05:24] Oh, I love you if you get that Benz for me.

[00:05:28] I love if you get that diamond ring for me.

[00:05:31] I feel like this is how you show up after cuffing season.

[00:05:34] Like if you don't come to the table after,

[00:05:36] so you telling me,

[00:05:37] so you didn't cuff me before Thanksgiving

[00:05:39] and you don't come through on this February.

[00:05:42] I broke.

[00:05:43] I broke.

[00:05:44] I didn't pay for things.

[00:05:46] Thanksgiving, all the dinner, Christmas time,

[00:05:48] you got three kids.

[00:05:50] Lord help me listen.

[00:05:51] Give me a break.

[00:05:52] It's the top of the year.

[00:05:53] I ain't got no change right now.

[00:05:54] We need fire and some tax debt.

[00:05:55] Leave it on.

[00:05:59] You can sell and everybody get,

[00:06:00] you can get your paperwork now

[00:06:02] before the 30th of January.

[00:06:05] So I'm trying to say,

[00:06:06] you get that rabbit refund

[00:06:07] and come to the table like you got some sense.

[00:06:10] Y'all better show up.

[00:06:11] Don't play don't play.

[00:06:13] See what God will do.

[00:06:14] See in the midst of us talking about a real talk topic,

[00:06:17] God to give another real talk topic

[00:06:21] because this is definitely going to be one for next week.

[00:06:22] We're going to talk about this.

[00:06:23] Ain't nowhere in the world conditional love.

[00:06:25] Did you make it?

[00:06:25] Yeah, you just make it conditional love.

[00:06:28] Lord help me.

[00:06:29] You ain't buying up gifts.

[00:06:30] So your cuffing season is over with Lord.

[00:06:32] You can't even put a ring on that thing.

[00:06:34] No, no, I changed my mind.

[00:06:35] I don't want to marry you.

[00:06:36] No, no, and get out.

[00:06:38] Butch get out and get out and get out.

[00:06:41] My son didn't like you.

[00:06:42] No way my son didn't like you know

[00:06:44] he was just putting up with you

[00:06:46] because he thought you might have been a good potential.

[00:06:47] Wow, that is rough.

[00:06:48] A little bit of pressure there

[00:06:50] because you start bringing this person around

[00:06:52] for the holidays and they've been around.

[00:06:53] So they around for the holiday.

[00:06:54] So you done been around my family and stuff.

[00:06:56] You already know my mom and them,

[00:06:57] my auntie and them going to ask

[00:06:59] what did he get you for?

[00:07:00] What is it?

[00:07:01] What did he get you for Valentine's Day?

[00:07:03] Like that is the that's gonna be the question.

[00:07:05] And that's wrong.

[00:07:06] That's right.

[00:07:07] Especially, especially even around since Thanksgiving.

[00:07:09] So if he didn't he didn't bought the whole.

[00:07:12] Yeah, thanks.

[00:07:13] You know, I'm not gonna.

[00:07:14] You know, I'm not gonna.

[00:07:15] Who foods you don't ate?

[00:07:17] Lord have you ate some food people don't even get to eat.

[00:07:20] Yeah, that's wrong.

[00:07:20] Yeah, you better come to the table this week.

[00:07:22] Don't play.

[00:07:24] Well, when I tell you to as well,

[00:07:26] y'all going to enjoy this spiritual detox too as well

[00:07:28] because we're going to get a young up and coming listen

[00:07:31] producer, artist, writer.

[00:07:34] He do a little bit of everything.

[00:07:36] Our brother, Melodic B on the line and he working on new music.

[00:07:41] And yeah, yeah, yeah, I'm pretty sure some great

[00:07:44] convoy go come out of that conversation.

[00:07:46] We talk about next up and coming dice who up and coming

[00:07:48] in this Christian R&B space.

[00:07:51] And yeah, Melodic B's name comes up to as well.

[00:07:53] So shout out to yeah, that spiritual detox.

[00:07:57] Of course, you know, dice got that quick fix.

[00:07:59] You know, Justin Adams got that new.

[00:08:01] I mean, yeah, that faith is forced report and much, much more.

[00:08:04] I'm Dice Gamble from The Fix and this is your news in 90.

[00:08:36] One thing the pandemic did bring back by popular demand

[00:08:39] are board games.

[00:08:40] Board games are on the rise and have been over the past couple years

[00:08:44] and are slated to grow more than 12% all the way through 2030.

[00:08:49] With a revenue of billions of dollars per year,

[00:08:51] strategy board games have become 70% of total board game

[00:08:56] sales on the market.

[00:08:57] Even though electronic games are growing in popularity,

[00:09:01] they don't seem to be taking the place of board games anytime soon.

[00:09:05] Some of the most popular bought and played board games

[00:09:08] are Clue, Operation, Life, Trouble, Candyland, Checkers,

[00:09:12] Scrabble, Monopoly, Yachtsy, Sorry and Connect4.

[00:09:17] New on the rise are companies giving out lifetime warranties.

[00:09:22] Jansport, Eddie Bauer, Craftsman, Zippo, LL Bean and Columbia are just a few.

[00:09:29] If you love getting the best bang for your buck,

[00:09:31] spending your hard-earned money at a company

[00:09:33] that offers a lifetime warranty can add value.

[00:09:36] I'm Dice Gamble and this has been your News in 90.

[00:09:39] Well listen, today is National Cheddar Day, OK?

[00:09:43] So cheddar cheese, right?

[00:09:45] Every February the 13th.

[00:09:47] Shout out to all of you who had a grilled cheese for breakfast this morning

[00:09:50] or just like to sneak into the fridge and take a slice of cheddar cheese.

[00:09:54] Or for those of you who get the chunk cheese

[00:09:57] and then you chop it up in the squares, whatever macaroni and cheese you name it.

[00:10:01] This is a very iconic cheese, especially in America.

[00:10:04] It goes on some of everything from jalapeno peppers,

[00:10:08] like I said, mac and cheese sandwiches.

[00:10:11] Some people put cheddar cheese on apples.

[00:10:13] I didn't know that was a whole thing.

[00:10:14] But 1894, cheese maker Peter Macintosh

[00:10:19] brought his cheese making skills to Tillamooks.

[00:10:22] So for those of you who know about that Tillamook cheese out in Oregon.

[00:10:26] Yeah, they're called the king of cheese for some reason.

[00:10:30] But yeah, shout out to all of you who love cheddar cheese.

[00:10:33] It turns out, you know, cheese is good for you.

[00:10:35] It's thick, rich, creamy and sometimes crumbly.

[00:10:38] But hashtag it National Cheddar Day on social media.

[00:10:42] If you're eating something with some some cheddar cheese on it,

[00:10:45] you know, I show you a favorite recipe too.

[00:10:47] You know, no matter what,

[00:10:49] show the rest online.

[00:10:52] Shout out to all the moms back in the day.

[00:10:54] Just just just taking the greater and just grading that big hunk of cheese,

[00:10:58] getting it ready for your mac and cheese.

[00:11:01] Well, I ain't going to have no mac and cheese today, Dyson,

[00:11:03] but the Lord knows I'm going to have the best bowl,

[00:11:05] the best bowl of grits with that cheddar cheese on top and some pepper.

[00:11:10] That's all I need is some cheddar cheese, some pepper and a bowl of grits.

[00:11:14] Mercy. Come on now.

[00:11:15] Come on now.

[00:11:16] The consistency is not right.

[00:11:18] I'm going to scoot it back.

[00:11:20] Scoot it back.

[00:11:21] Yeah, you put it in front of me and then I'm going to look at it

[00:11:23] and if I pick my spoon up and I don't see that consistency of that cheese.

[00:11:28] You got to go back.

[00:11:28] I'm going to just go and scoot it back to you.

[00:11:30] You got to go back.

[00:11:31] Get that to yourself.

[00:11:32] I'll get you.

[00:11:33] Shout out to broccoli and cheese people out there.

[00:11:35] Broccoli cheese, broccoli cheese soup is always good with a nice

[00:11:38] garlicky pizza toast.

[00:11:40] Oh, I don't know.

[00:11:41] I might have to go make some soup today since it is, you know,

[00:11:45] it's chatter day.

[00:11:46] Yeah, chatter day.

[00:11:47] Hmm.

[00:11:48] OK.

[00:11:49] Listen, coming up, we got our spiritual detox feature in a,

[00:11:52] listen, a super talented producer, writer as well as artist, melodic beat.

[00:11:58] We got our brother, Justin Adams,

[00:11:59] coming with that faith and sports report too as well.

[00:12:01] Listen, don't touch that dial.

[00:12:03] We going back to a break, we'll be right back with more.

[00:12:05] You tapped into the fix.

[00:12:07] And the fix is in.

[00:12:08] I'm Justin Adams and this is your DeFix faith and sports report.

[00:12:11] As athletes, some of the common verses you will hear used as motivation

[00:12:15] are Colleges 317 and Colleges 323.

[00:12:19] The first verse Colleges 317 says,

[00:12:22] And whatever you do or say,

[00:12:24] Do it as a representative of the Lord Jesus.

[00:12:27] Give it thanks through him to God the Father.

[00:12:30] Colleges 323 follows up by saying,

[00:12:33] Work willingly at whatever you do as though you are working for the Lord

[00:12:38] rather than for people.

[00:12:39] Got to say that again.

[00:12:41] Work willingly at whatever you do as though you are working for the Lord

[00:12:46] rather than for people.

[00:12:47] Again, that's Colleges 323.

[00:12:50] The verses are simple.

[00:12:51] Whatever you do, you're doing it as a representative of the Lord Jesus Christ

[00:12:56] and not just for yourself or for your coach.

[00:12:58] With that, I love this message from former Vanderbilt

[00:13:02] and current Middle Tennessee football coach Derek Mason

[00:13:05] who encourages his players to treat every day like it's a job interview.

[00:13:10] Every day is a job interview.

[00:13:11] You will hear me say that a million times.

[00:13:14] Every day can be your workers on display.

[00:13:17] When you have a chance to come into the building

[00:13:19] and scouts come watch you practice,

[00:13:21] they're looking at, okay, make your body temple.

[00:13:23] Okay, do you have bad body posture?

[00:13:26] Okay, how do you work?

[00:13:28] Okay, what is it?

[00:13:29] Is there anything about you that's special?

[00:13:31] So it's not between me and you, it's between you and you.

[00:13:36] Attitude affects outcome.

[00:13:39] Attitude affects outcome.

[00:13:41] So the way you step into a room is the way you dominate that dynamic.

[00:13:46] You step into the room, okay, with a positive dynamic,

[00:13:49] you'll dominate that dynamic.

[00:13:51] If it's negative, you ain't got to change.

[00:13:54] So that's why I'm here for you.

[00:13:55] Attitude will affect outcome.

[00:13:57] I'm Justin Adams and this has been your DeFix Faith and Sports Report.

[00:14:01] Now back to DJ Focus at Dice Gamble.

[00:14:03] Welcome back, welcome back.

[00:14:04] DJ Focus, Dice Gamble, you tap back into DeFix.

[00:14:06] Your source of faith and fuse, hip hop, R&B and poetry.

[00:14:09] It's time for our spiritual detox.

[00:14:11] And listen, y'all be talking who got next?

[00:14:15] Who got next in our genre?

[00:14:17] And this young man's name is often coming up

[00:14:20] in the conversation with a lot of other artists

[00:14:22] when we talk about who's that new wave

[00:14:24] of not only artists but also producer.

[00:14:27] So yeah, we're excited to have a great conversation with him

[00:14:29] and see where everything he got going on, man.

[00:14:32] So without further ado, help us welcome me

[00:14:34] in the super talented melodic beat.

[00:14:36] What's going on, bro?

[00:14:37] What's good?

[00:14:38] I'm good, I'm good.

[00:14:39] How you doing?

[00:14:40] Man, I'm blessed, man.

[00:14:42] I'm grateful to sit down with you, man,

[00:14:44] because I feel like you got a new sound, man,

[00:14:47] that people need to hear, man.

[00:14:49] So we got a lot to talk about, man, a little time.

[00:14:52] So first, man, catch the people up on speed

[00:14:54] a little bit of your faith journey, man.

[00:14:56] Walk us through kind of how did you really develop

[00:14:58] your own personal relationship with Christ?

[00:15:00] Well, I'm a preacher's kid.

[00:15:03] My granddad was a pastor.

[00:15:05] Well, he still is a pastor.

[00:15:07] My dad is a preacher.

[00:15:08] My mom sings in church.

[00:15:10] So I guess I've always been in the church,

[00:15:13] but my relationship, you know,

[00:15:16] being in church and your relationship

[00:15:17] is two different things, you know?

[00:15:19] So I think once I went to college

[00:15:21] and I started experiencing certain things,

[00:15:22] gotten certain relationships,

[00:15:24] and I learned a lot about myself

[00:15:26] and the way I did that was by seeking God.

[00:15:30] And I think my relationship with God

[00:15:31] not only really started at that moment.

[00:15:34] Like I've had, like, a, I guess, a relationship,

[00:15:37] but it was very serious at that point.

[00:15:39] And I think it has grew from there.

[00:15:41] So...

[00:15:42] What's one misconception you can debunk, man,

[00:15:45] as grown up as a PK, man?

[00:15:46] What's one misconception you can say?

[00:15:49] Nah.

[00:15:50] We're not the worst.

[00:15:51] I would say that. We're not the worst.

[00:15:54] But we pretty bad, you know what I'm saying?

[00:15:57] But nah, we...

[00:15:59] I guess it just depends on who you ask, man,

[00:16:02] because, you know, my dad, he preached.

[00:16:05] He lived what he preached, and everybody can't say that.

[00:16:08] So I think, you know, hearing him preaching the pulpit

[00:16:11] was one thing, but I actually got to see him live.

[00:16:13] So, you know, live right.

[00:16:15] So just taking, you know, what he showed on a daily basis

[00:16:18] was, you know, I guess how I am,

[00:16:20] the way I am today.

[00:16:22] So...

[00:16:23] Was that tough growing up?

[00:16:24] Growing up, the pressure?

[00:16:26] Because that's... I'm glad you shared that.

[00:16:28] You know, like you said, your father actually walked what he talked.

[00:16:31] So was that kind of hard for you to kind of live up to, like,

[00:16:35] dang, pops, you don't make no mistakes.

[00:16:37] You're really like in the pulpit preaching this,

[00:16:39] and then you come home and you're really doing this?

[00:16:41] Like, I'm trying to do my thing,

[00:16:43] and you messing this up for me.

[00:16:45] I wouldn't say pressure,

[00:16:46] because I think once you're in a situation,

[00:16:48] you don't really notice it if that makes any sense.

[00:16:52] But I will say once you get older,

[00:16:55] you start to kind of learn yourself just a little bit,

[00:16:58] kind of see how people move.

[00:17:00] You know, when you're young, you think a grown-up has it all together

[00:17:04] and all of this. Once you get older, you're like,

[00:17:05] most of these grown-ups really ain't got it all together for real.

[00:17:08] So just using that example is like...

[00:17:11] You start to notice things,

[00:17:12] and it's like I really did have a lot of pressure on me being young,

[00:17:15] because now I see I got all of these eyes on me.

[00:17:18] If I make one mistake, that's our whole family name going,

[00:17:21] you know, going down. So I can't really just do anything I want.

[00:17:24] And when you start to think of that level, you start to notice,

[00:17:26] like I really did have a little pressure on me.

[00:17:28] But in the moment now, it was just the way it was.

[00:17:31] You do the right thing. That's what I was taught.

[00:17:33] So yeah.

[00:17:35] That's good. So come on, walk us through some of this musical journey, man.

[00:17:38] Of course, I'm pretty sure it stems all from church.

[00:17:42] What was the first thing, instrument or, you know, keys, drums?

[00:17:47] What attracted you first in the church

[00:17:49] to even get you in your music bag?

[00:17:52] Well, I am a drummer by heart.

[00:17:55] I've been playing drums.

[00:17:56] My parents said since I was three, so I've been playing drums since the jit.

[00:18:01] But always just being around musicians,

[00:18:03] I guess is what really started the journey.

[00:18:05] You know, getting older and I, you know, found a love for producing music.

[00:18:09] You know, I used to be a secular artist,

[00:18:11] but finding that love for taking an artist,

[00:18:14] they have an idea, they bring it to the table.

[00:18:16] And you pretty much coaching them from their little small idea

[00:18:19] of making it this big piece of art is what I really love to do.

[00:18:22] So I tell people at the time, I'm just a producer

[00:18:25] who just happened to drop a song and did well.

[00:18:27] So we had started from the church.

[00:18:31] Yeah, it started from the church.

[00:18:35] Man, I live music.

[00:18:36] I breathe it.

[00:18:37] So it's definitely starting from the church for sure.

[00:18:41] So who was some of your musical inspirations grown up?

[00:18:43] Who was in your playlist that kind of inspired you to even do music?

[00:18:46] Man, Jay Moss, Ty Tribbit, Kurt Franklin.

[00:18:55] If you talk about secular artists as well, like I was, you know,

[00:18:58] I was crazy about Chris Brown stuff.

[00:19:03] Like old heads, like my mom used to play like the old days and stuff like that.

[00:19:07] Like I wasn't really in tune with Earth, Wind and Fire until later.

[00:19:12] But just, you know, you start to see the people that I grew up listening to

[00:19:16] and then you start to study who they listened to.

[00:19:18] And so when you kind of see, you know what I'm saying?

[00:19:20] Like Marvin Gaye, like people like that.

[00:19:23] So I would definitely say though, Jay Moss, Ty Tribbit were probably my top.

[00:19:30] You know, me and my dad were just riding the car just listening to those guys.

[00:19:33] So yeah, definitely those two for sure.

[00:19:37] So so when did you know you had it though?

[00:19:38] So, you know, because it's one thing, you know, just no seriously.

[00:19:42] And shout out to everybody that plays in church every weekend.

[00:19:45] This is no shade to y'all.

[00:19:46] But I think it's something that has to click to where you know,

[00:19:50] you can do this on a professional level.

[00:19:53] When was that moment where you was like, okay, absolutely.

[00:19:56] I started producing a little bit, you know, for maybe some local talent.

[00:20:00] But now I feel like you like going to that next level to like, no,

[00:20:03] I can really like do this and do it for a career.

[00:20:08] Well, that's a great question.

[00:20:10] Brian ain't gonna cap.

[00:20:11] That's a great question.

[00:20:12] Oh, I don't want to say it was something just like a moment that clicked.

[00:20:18] I think it's just coming from where I come from.

[00:20:23] I'm not the only one that's just crazy talented.

[00:20:26] Like from Mississippi to blow Mississippi, bro, they we got some of the

[00:20:30] I believe we got some of the coldest musicians and singers in the land.

[00:20:35] And so you find yourself not competing because you don't want to

[00:20:39] find yourself competing in the church.

[00:20:40] But it's like, if bro doing, you know, if bro doing this around my age,

[00:20:44] like I'm trying to get to the next level.

[00:20:46] I got a pretty much beat out all these guys, you know what I'm saying?

[00:20:50] So I think it was just a gradual thing.

[00:20:54] Like if I can say I'm one of the best in my hometown, then I can say I'm

[00:21:00] one of the best in my state or whatever the case is.

[00:21:03] And then you start to post different things and they start

[00:21:06] pairing you to people on Instagram and stuff like that.

[00:21:08] And it's not about being the best, but just kind of finding your own sound.

[00:21:12] I don't want to say it was just something that clicked.

[00:21:13] It's just constantly trying to see who just kind of see who's popping,

[00:21:18] how they're popping and how I can kind of bring that into what I'm

[00:21:21] doing in my own style.

[00:21:23] You know, so I don't know.

[00:21:25] It wasn't really a thing to click for sure.

[00:21:27] Just gradual for me.

[00:21:29] That makes sense.

[00:21:30] So walk us through your creative process because you started to talk

[00:21:33] about it a little bit like, what does that look like when you go

[00:21:36] in the lab, when you go in the studio?

[00:21:37] Like are you one?

[00:21:38] Do you have to make your beat out first?

[00:21:40] Are you already working on your hook?

[00:21:42] Are you writing your lyrics, your bars?

[00:21:44] Just walk us through you making a track.

[00:21:46] It depends.

[00:21:47] So I guess when I'm producing a record, I always produce a record and

[00:21:52] I kind of sing.

[00:21:54] So I'll sing what I think the artist should do.

[00:21:57] And if I feel like it's just not the record for me, I can try

[00:22:00] to get to the artist that could kind of kill it.

[00:22:03] You know what I'm saying?

[00:22:05] And every now and then I'll come across a beat and it's like, no,

[00:22:07] this is for me.

[00:22:08] Like I'm going to wrap on this.

[00:22:10] But I guess inspiration comes from all kinds of different areas.

[00:22:15] Like I'll be riding in the car.

[00:22:17] I think my best writing comes from just riding in the car and

[00:22:20] now police don't come get me, but I'll pull out my phone and type

[00:22:23] type out what I'm trying to write and stuff like that.

[00:22:26] So but it's you know, it just comes from different areas.

[00:22:30] Seeing something on YouTube or I don't know, man.

[00:22:34] This is music is everywhere and I'll go in.

[00:22:37] I'll, you know, it definitely starts from the beat and I'll just

[00:22:41] pretty much just sort it out from there.

[00:22:43] Just appears.

[00:22:45] Oh God.

[00:22:46] Oh God.

[00:22:47] Listen, you tapped into the fix, man.

[00:22:48] We kicking it with melodic beat.

[00:22:50] We got to go to a quick break.

[00:22:51] We coming right back with more.

[00:22:52] Keep it locked.

[00:22:53] You tune into the fix.

[00:22:54] You know the fixes in and we back DJ focus.

[00:22:56] You tap back into the fix.

[00:22:57] Listen, we still got a melodic beyond and we talking about

[00:23:00] a little bit of everything inspiration and everything he

[00:23:03] got going on with his music.

[00:23:05] So melodic beat.

[00:23:06] Come on, talk about man.

[00:23:07] Um, how, how impactful is hip hop on your specific sound?

[00:23:12] Because you know, absolutely I hear the gospel elements in it,

[00:23:16] but it's still like that hip hop.

[00:23:18] It comes across as that hip hop type of Vibe type gospel.

[00:23:22] So speak to that in itself because again, like I say,

[00:23:25] you're doing something I think this kind of unique and I

[00:23:27] think I want a lot of other people to kind of catch

[00:23:29] the wave and do it because we need a lot of artists doing

[00:23:33] what you're doing.

[00:23:34] It means almost everything to what I'm doing.

[00:23:37] Um, like at one point in my life, I was listening to

[00:23:42] man, Nye's.

[00:23:43] I was on two pop for a minute.

[00:23:45] You know, you listen to Biggie like I mentioned Chris Brown

[00:23:48] earlier.

[00:23:50] You know, it's just so many, so many artists, bro.

[00:23:53] You just grow up listening to type stuff and you know,

[00:23:56] I mentioned Jay Morrison and Tye Tribut is being like my

[00:23:59] man, guys I listen to but you know, later in my life,

[00:24:04] you know, you know, little baby come in,

[00:24:06] the baby come in, gonna come in like all of those people

[00:24:10] come into the picture and it's like, I think it just

[00:24:13] naturally comes out once my once the message changed

[00:24:17] and once I really gave my life to God.

[00:24:20] Those influences as far as sonically are still there

[00:24:23] and that's what I'm drawn to.

[00:24:24] Even Jay Morrison, Tye Tribut had that secular type of sound

[00:24:28] to him, you know what I'm saying?

[00:24:30] So that's what I've always been drawn to.

[00:24:31] And once the message change, you still have that,

[00:24:34] that greeting is you still got that hip hop sound.

[00:24:36] You still got the R&B texture to it.

[00:24:39] But the message changes.

[00:24:40] It goes from me being in the club on a Friday night

[00:24:42] to God, where are you?

[00:24:44] I need you right now.

[00:24:45] Like it's just a message change.

[00:24:47] So yeah.

[00:24:48] No, that's dope.

[00:24:50] Yeah.

[00:24:50] How important is that man?

[00:24:52] Because I love we talk about it all the time on the show.

[00:24:55] Yeah.

[00:24:56] Artists in our space making sonically good music.

[00:24:59] Shout out to everybody who's doing the ministry work.

[00:25:02] I get it and I get it.

[00:25:03] You know, y'all getting booked, you know, every Sunday

[00:25:05] for these different little churches.

[00:25:08] But that don't mean sonically it lines up with artists

[00:25:11] like you talking about Gunna, baby.

[00:25:14] You know what I'm saying?

[00:25:14] Dirt, you go down the list.

[00:25:15] J. Cole, like talk about just making sonically good music

[00:25:20] and how important that is in our little subgenre.

[00:25:24] I think we have gotten to a point to where we think that

[00:25:28] just because we do it for Jesus is good.

[00:25:32] Just because we do it for God is good.

[00:25:34] And that's not true.

[00:25:35] Like that's even more reason why we should push for excellence

[00:25:39] in what we do.

[00:25:40] So if a person can go and listen to just for example,

[00:25:45] if a person can go and listen to Gunna, which has, you know,

[00:25:50] the 808s are hitting his vocal sounds good,

[00:25:53] like it's texture to it.

[00:25:54] You know, he got the auto tune or whatever.

[00:25:56] And it's sonically there.

[00:25:57] And we're talking about the message, but it's pleasing

[00:26:00] to the ears.

[00:26:01] Then why would they go?

[00:26:02] A person who doesn't care about lyrics

[00:26:04] and why would they go and listen to something that's not

[00:26:06] as sonically is, you know, good.

[00:26:08] Like make it make sense.

[00:26:10] You know what I'm saying?

[00:26:10] So I think even to the art, the music videos,

[00:26:14] the Instagram content, how you get the brand

[00:26:19] like, yes, you don't want to be so caught up in

[00:26:22] building yourself over God.

[00:26:24] But in the day and time now, if the word

[00:26:29] and the music is going to get in certain doors,

[00:26:31] like there are certain things that have to happen.

[00:26:34] And number one, make sure your song is mixed right.

[00:26:38] You know, make sure you're putting, you know,

[00:26:40] dope quality content out.

[00:26:42] Make sure the stuff that you're putting out is being reached.

[00:26:45] You may have to put some money behind it.

[00:26:47] You know what I'm saying?

[00:26:48] Please put some money behind it.

[00:26:50] Please put some money behind it.

[00:26:51] You know what I'm saying?

[00:26:52] So it's just, I think we missed that mark

[00:26:55] that just because we do it for God is it's OK.

[00:26:57] And that's really that's not fair.

[00:27:00] Like, you know, that's even more reason

[00:27:02] why we should push for excellence is because we're doing it

[00:27:04] for the kingdom.

[00:27:05] So yeah.

[00:27:07] No, I agree with you and shout out to everybody.

[00:27:09] He just gave y'all some gems.

[00:27:10] Only thing I'm going to add after you do everything else,

[00:27:13] you get you some good production.

[00:27:14] You get your thing mixed in master, right?

[00:27:16] Please get you a proper EPK.

[00:27:18] Us as DJs don't want you just to email us MP3 file.

[00:27:22] We're not planning it. We're deleting it.

[00:27:23] I'm telling you right now, we're deleting it.

[00:27:25] Yeah, we're deleting it.

[00:27:25] Yeah, if you're not going to be professional

[00:27:27] and you're not going to take my crap professionally,

[00:27:30] I'm not going to take your crap professionally.

[00:27:32] So yes, absolutely.

[00:27:33] Electronic press kit.

[00:27:34] That's what the EPK is.

[00:27:35] Shout out to everybody who understands the power in that.

[00:27:38] So, you know, I definitely want to ask you, man,

[00:27:41] you know, millennial, you know,

[00:27:44] talk about millennial culture in the church a little bit.

[00:27:48] Because I think you can give a fresh perspective.

[00:27:51] Where do you think we are when you talk about the body?

[00:27:54] The church with some of, you know, the elders,

[00:27:57] you know, the OGs, the vets at the church house

[00:28:00] compared to allowing for young men like yourself,

[00:28:03] millennials, Gen Zs to have a voice and understand that

[00:28:08] you guys may be worship, understand and learn God differently

[00:28:12] than some of the OGs do.

[00:28:14] And where is the balance in that

[00:28:15] when you talk about religious folks?

[00:28:20] Man, you asking some questions, boy.

[00:28:24] So religion is the number one thing

[00:28:28] that's going to kill the church if we allow it to.

[00:28:31] Right.

[00:28:32] I think with religion, you can only go so far.

[00:28:36] And I don't think it's so much a thing as far as white churches.

[00:28:41] I feel like it's only in the black community.

[00:28:43] Yes.

[00:28:44] You know what I'm saying?

[00:28:45] Let's be honest.

[00:28:46] So, you know, it's...

[00:28:49] It's interesting, man.

[00:28:51] I think our generation now is...

[00:28:56] We have gotten fed up with what things are supposed to look like

[00:29:01] other than what it really is.

[00:29:04] So I think we're searching for more of the truth now.

[00:29:07] Like, we're more interested in the deeper knowledge of the word and the Bible.

[00:29:13] Other than, you know, you go to...

[00:29:16] And I'm not shunning black churches at all right now,

[00:29:18] but most black churches you go to is like struggle...

[00:29:22] It's like struggle-pushed messages.

[00:29:24] Like, you know, God, we are...

[00:29:26] We need you right now come and save us.

[00:29:28] But if you go to a more white church, it's like, Lord, we lift you up.

[00:29:31] Lord, we thank you for...

[00:29:33] It's just like uplifting, you know, other than just asking him to come and,

[00:29:36] you know, do certain things all the time.

[00:29:38] So I mean, I don't know.

[00:29:40] I think it has a lot to do with the music.

[00:29:43] You know, it started from like gospel hymns and gospel, you know,

[00:29:49] songs started from the slavery days

[00:29:51] and we're still singing some of those same songs.

[00:29:54] Like, Wait in the Water was not a gospel record.

[00:29:56] That song was when they were trying to escape.

[00:30:00] Wait in the Water was telling the slaves to wait in the water

[00:30:03] so the dogs wouldn't smell them.

[00:30:04] Facts.

[00:30:05] You know what I'm saying?

[00:30:07] So it's like, we're still singing those same songs

[00:30:09] and they have spirits attached to them.

[00:30:11] They have messages.

[00:30:12] I'm not saying they're negative or whatever,

[00:30:14] but those songs were necessary for the time.

[00:30:17] So why are we still...

[00:30:19] You know, and it's good to go back every now and then,

[00:30:22] but why when we go to a different route,

[00:30:25] why is it from the devil and why is it just not right?

[00:30:29] Like it's automatically not right when it's not familiar.

[00:30:32] So I don't know.

[00:30:35] That's a good question though, bro.

[00:30:36] That's a great question.

[00:30:37] Hey, listen, I appreciate you sharing your perspective on it.

[00:30:41] Listen, I don't take it for granted because again,

[00:30:43] we like to give young up-and-coming leaders

[00:30:46] because that's what y'all are.

[00:30:47] Y'all are young and up-and-coming leaders.

[00:30:49] We need to hear from y'all.

[00:30:50] We need to understand y'all.

[00:30:51] We need to understand how y'all think

[00:30:53] and how y'all see scripture

[00:30:55] and how y'all break down the text

[00:30:56] and then how does that, you know, apply to your life

[00:30:59] when you talk about life application in real time

[00:31:01] because 2024 is different from 1996.

[00:31:05] Like it's totally different, you know what I'm saying?

[00:31:08] Night and day.

[00:31:08] So yeah, we got to embrace it.

[00:31:10] And again, I'm an OG myself.

[00:31:12] I learned from y'all.

[00:31:14] Yeah, I don't think I know everything.

[00:31:15] Absolutely.

[00:31:16] I got gems.

[00:31:17] I want to make sure I deposit, make sure you know.

[00:31:19] But if it's something you can teach me, please teach me.

[00:31:22] And let me stop it right there too.

[00:31:23] I think that's important.

[00:31:24] Like it shouldn't be to where, like,

[00:31:28] it should always be to,

[00:31:30] like we can always learn from the older people

[00:31:33] as well as the other way around.

[00:31:35] But somewhere around there,

[00:31:36] it didn't evolve to where it could be that way.

[00:31:40] Yes.

[00:31:41] You know what I'm saying?

[00:31:42] Like, it's okay.

[00:31:44] Yes, once you come into this space,

[00:31:47] there is a certain lines from it being

[00:31:50] from holy to not holy.

[00:31:52] And I think what the older people are good at

[00:31:55] is keeping us in line, like saying,

[00:31:57] hey, I love what you're doing.

[00:31:58] You being creative, but check your heart every now and then.

[00:32:02] You know what I'm saying?

[00:32:03] But at the same time, just the older people coming to us,

[00:32:05] hey, I love what you're doing.

[00:32:07] How can we be more creative

[00:32:09] in to push the church into the world?

[00:32:12] Not bringing the world into the church,

[00:32:13] but so we can show up with our Bibles

[00:32:17] on in the crack house and being comfortable.

[00:32:21] You know what I'm saying?

[00:32:21] If you go to a crack house and you're singing holy to God,

[00:32:24] everybody's not gonna receive that.

[00:32:26] Thanks.

[00:32:28] Everybody's not.

[00:32:29] So it's just how you wanna go with it, man.

[00:32:32] It's just like we should compliment all generations

[00:32:35] to compliment each other.

[00:32:36] And how can we learn from every generation?

[00:32:39] So that was good what you said for sure.

[00:32:41] No, that's good.

[00:32:42] And shout out to everybody

[00:32:43] to realize the sanctification processes for everybody.

[00:32:45] We all need to take heart checks.

[00:32:47] So yeah, shout out to everybody

[00:32:48] to understand it's a process.

[00:32:49] We walk this walk each and every day together

[00:32:52] as ambassadors for the Christ.

[00:32:54] And yeah, every day, some days we don't hit the mark.

[00:32:56] Let's be very clear.

[00:32:57] Ain't none of us perfect.

[00:32:58] So that's good.

[00:32:59] So come on man, talk about this rain track, man.

[00:33:01] Talk about the inspiration behind it, man.

[00:33:03] And everything else you got working on right now.

[00:33:07] Man, rain was a very special track.

[00:33:10] Definitely the best studio session

[00:33:12] that I've ever been a part of.

[00:33:13] And it was just me, myself and God.

[00:33:17] It was the first record that I had not written anything.

[00:33:20] You know, and I didn't freestyle, but it was just,

[00:33:23] I would record, stop it,

[00:33:25] and another line would be given to me.

[00:33:27] And I think that was ultimately the Holy Spirit.

[00:33:29] Not only allowing me to share my testimony,

[00:33:32] but it was saying like,

[00:33:34] you're not the only one that was dealing with this.

[00:33:37] Like this has to be released

[00:33:38] because it's gonna help out so many people.

[00:33:41] So man, it was special.

[00:33:44] I think I knew it was special.

[00:33:46] I had showed my friends right after it,

[00:33:48] and it was stuck in their head

[00:33:48] and they was like, hey, that's special.

[00:33:50] And you know, it's being shown

[00:33:53] that it's a very special track.

[00:33:54] And I take no credit, I take no glory for it at all.

[00:33:58] It's not my record at all, it's God's record.

[00:34:01] You know, so yeah, it's a very special track.

[00:34:05] What can we expect next?

[00:34:06] I mean, is this gonna be the single to a project

[00:34:10] that you got in the vault?

[00:34:11] You keeping from us?

[00:34:14] So I got an idea of what I wanna do

[00:34:16] as far as a project with Rain.

[00:34:18] I don't wanna give too much out right now,

[00:34:21] but I think it's gonna be pretty special.

[00:34:23] But right now I'm just being patient

[00:34:26] and I'm trying to, like I said,

[00:34:28] I'm a producer who just happened to drop a record.

[00:34:31] So I'm still producing,

[00:34:32] I'm still dropping records as a producer

[00:34:35] every day, all day.

[00:34:36] So, but as far as an artist,

[00:34:39] I wanna take it not slow,

[00:34:41] but I wanna take my time.

[00:34:43] I'm currently trying to figure out,

[00:34:45] as far as a music video,

[00:34:46] what I'm gonna do as far as it.

[00:34:47] But definitely a project with Rain

[00:34:51] is being in the works right now as we speak.

[00:34:53] So it's gonna be pretty cool.

[00:34:56] Okay.

[00:34:57] Shout out some of your produce craze, man.

[00:34:58] Who have you produced for her, man?

[00:35:00] That some of the people might know

[00:35:01] or maybe don't know?

[00:35:04] Well, the first record

[00:35:05] that kinda blew up with me producing it was Sajay.

[00:35:08] Her name is Sajay and the record is called

[00:35:11] Feel Me Up.

[00:35:12] Oh, that's far.

[00:35:13] That's far.

[00:35:14] Yeah, that's far.

[00:35:15] It went crazy.

[00:35:16] That was last year,

[00:35:18] that was March of last year.

[00:35:21] I have another artist,

[00:35:22] her name is Ashaia.

[00:35:23] She's crazy.

[00:35:24] She has a few records out

[00:35:26] and you can see all of these songs on my pages.

[00:35:28] That's why I try to put all my people on,

[00:35:31] like that I produced and I believe in.

[00:35:34] Ben, I have a little bit of a following now,

[00:35:36] but Ashaia, she's on my page

[00:35:39] and I have another artist, his name is Kai.

[00:35:41] He's a rapper.

[00:35:42] He hasn't dropped the song yet.

[00:35:43] He's gonna drop his first record,

[00:35:45] either the 23rd of this month or the first.

[00:35:48] He about to take over, bro.

[00:35:50] Oh yeah?

[00:35:51] I mean crazy lyricists.

[00:35:53] Like it's something we haven't heard in a while.

[00:35:56] I mean like on some Jay-Z, Nas,

[00:35:59] like some stuff that goes over your head

[00:36:02] and you listen to it two weeks later

[00:36:04] and you just not realizing what he said type of stuff.

[00:36:07] Like it's crazy.

[00:36:08] Okay, well.

[00:36:09] I'm looking forward to that.

[00:36:11] His name is Kai.

[00:36:12] And we gonna do everything we can

[00:36:14] to put him on, bro.

[00:36:16] So it's exciting, Brojus.

[00:36:19] I'm trying to build a team of artists

[00:36:21] that I can really establish myself as a producer.

[00:36:25] That's my main goal right now.

[00:36:27] I wanna be that guy.

[00:36:29] Like he produced their record.

[00:36:31] He crazy as a producer.

[00:36:32] It's cool being an artist,

[00:36:33] but like I said, my heart is in the production

[00:36:36] so for sure.

[00:36:37] So just so you know, man, in this space

[00:36:39] and hopefully you do know,

[00:36:41] but I'm gonna shout out some producers

[00:36:42] who are doing some pretty decent things

[00:36:44] in our space right now.

[00:36:46] Shout out to my younger Vert Ma member,

[00:36:48] Scootywop.

[00:36:49] Scootywop is a situation.

[00:36:52] Like I just-

[00:36:53] That's his goal.

[00:36:54] Yeah, yeah.

[00:36:54] So I just wanna let you know.

[00:36:56] Listen, when you say that,

[00:36:58] you gotta bring it because we got-

[00:36:59] I know that.

[00:37:00] We got Wop over here.

[00:37:01] We got George Rose over here

[00:37:02] who's doing some pretty powerful things to as well.

[00:37:05] Artie X drums, Marty from Social Club

[00:37:07] who been doing it for a long, long time.

[00:37:09] So yeah.

[00:37:10] It's not a competition

[00:37:12] but it's always good to kind of see

[00:37:15] where you stand at these guys.

[00:37:17] You know what I'm saying?

[00:37:18] No absolutely.

[00:37:18] So listen, listen, listen.

[00:37:20] Shout out to everybody who think

[00:37:23] we don't do this to try to be the best

[00:37:25] at what we do because we do.

[00:37:26] No, no, no.

[00:37:27] I'm gonna debunk that thing for you right now.

[00:37:29] You can humble flex.

[00:37:31] You can humble flex when you need to humble flex.

[00:37:35] So I'm gonna put some vibe up that thing

[00:37:36] and let you know it's okay.

[00:37:37] Show up.

[00:37:38] Listen, because we've been putting out

[00:37:40] subpar, subpar, forgive me,

[00:37:42] subpar music for so long.

[00:37:44] So now that we are at a high level,

[00:37:46] we need to show we in every city,

[00:37:48] we in every state and we doing big things.

[00:37:50] For now, I need you to show up and show out, bruh.

[00:37:52] When you do it.

[00:37:54] Yeah.

[00:37:54] And I got the artist to do it too, bro.

[00:37:56] It's exciting for sure.

[00:37:58] It's exciting.

[00:37:59] All right, man.

[00:38:00] Appreciate you, Milagri B, man.

[00:38:01] Tell the people how they connect with you

[00:38:03] following all your social media platforms

[00:38:04] as well as introduce your latest single.

[00:38:07] Yeah, man.

[00:38:08] So y'all can go and follow me on Instagram,

[00:38:10] underscore Milagri B, the same thing for TikTok,

[00:38:12] Milagri B.

[00:38:14] That's pretty much all I'm on.

[00:38:15] So just take my pages out

[00:38:17] and you can get my latest single rain out

[00:38:19] on every platform.

[00:38:21] So I'm trying to get to the a million streams,

[00:38:24] mark pretty soon, so y'all help a brother out.

[00:38:25] For sure.

[00:38:27] Absolutely.

[00:38:28] For sure.

[00:38:29] Appreciate you, bruh.

[00:38:30] Keep it locked.

[00:38:31] You tune into the fix.

[00:38:32] You know the fix is in.

[00:38:33] All right, Dice, you know, streets report.

[00:38:35] We got to talk about it every now and then.

[00:38:37] We got to talk about what the streets talking about

[00:38:39] and yeah, yo, you know, a couple of my little cousins.

[00:38:42] I blame them on my cousins now.

[00:38:44] A couple of my little cousins on social media

[00:38:45] was talking about the Super Bowl performance,

[00:38:48] half time performance at that.

[00:38:51] And a couple of them were saying

[00:38:53] that Usher was kind of too close

[00:38:55] behind Alicia Keys doing that Mahboo performance

[00:38:59] and people want to know what's going on

[00:39:02] with Usher and Alicia Keys.

[00:39:04] That's all the people want to know.

[00:39:06] Woo, the people want to know Dice, what's going on

[00:39:15] with the half time performance and you know,

[00:39:18] Usher couldn't sing his duet, you know,

[00:39:21] little duet.

[00:39:22] Platinum, listen, the song went platinum too as well.

[00:39:24] Let's be very clear.

[00:39:25] That's a classic.

[00:39:27] And yeah, everybody was questioning what was going on

[00:39:31] and I think Swiss Beats had some comments

[00:39:33] or something though, Dice.

[00:39:34] And then Swiss Beats go ahead and set the record straight

[00:39:36] by his wife.

[00:39:37] Yeah, he just, Jesus, I just, why can't we just be all right

[00:39:43] with people doing what?

[00:39:45] Here's the thing, when people make movies,

[00:39:46] nobody say nothing.

[00:39:47] It could be Denzel Washington all up over somebody.

[00:39:50] We'll never say Denzel was wrong.

[00:39:53] Why can't we just let people just let them be?

[00:39:55] It's a song, it's called Mahboo.

[00:39:58] They had to act like, and they trust me.

[00:40:00] I thought they did a great job.

[00:40:02] I thought they did a great job and Usher could never have that.

[00:40:05] So we know that.

[00:40:07] And I actually don't want that.

[00:40:08] And I don't know, I just,

[00:40:10] I hate people bring up all the foolery,

[00:40:11] but Swiss Beats did respond to the social media drama

[00:40:15] concerning him or concerning Usher and his wife.

[00:40:20] He said, y'all talk about the wrong bleep thing.

[00:40:23] Y'all don't see that amazing dress

[00:40:24] covering the entire stadium.

[00:40:27] Tonight's performers was nothing but amazing

[00:40:29] Two amazing giants, congrats at Usher

[00:40:32] and my love at Alicia Keys.

[00:40:35] That song is the classic.

[00:40:37] We don't do negative vibes on this side.

[00:40:39] We make history.

[00:40:40] That's what Swiss posted on his page.

[00:40:44] And I agree.

[00:40:47] I mean, I think social media should be blocked

[00:40:51] for a lot of people.

[00:40:53] I wish it was a certain thing as a hater blocker

[00:40:56] for social media because you're right.

[00:40:57] I think everybody wants to have an opinion.

[00:40:59] Everybody wants to look into things

[00:41:02] a little bit deeper than what things really are.

[00:41:04] I agree with you, Harley.

[00:41:06] Yeah, but what they ain't gonna know what to do.

[00:41:08] And I think that's what it is.

[00:41:09] That's why I say some people do not need

[00:41:10] to be on social media

[00:41:12] because you wouldn't dare say these things.

[00:41:14] And that's always been my, I think

[00:41:16] if you wouldn't say these things

[00:41:17] the people face don't say it

[00:41:19] hiding in Nebraska somewhere

[00:41:21] or somewhere in a part of Florida

[00:41:23] don't nobody know about.

[00:41:25] Yeah, I'm just saying somewhere in Nebraska

[00:41:27] somebody is in a house chewing somebody out.

[00:41:31] No one, can't nobody even find where you at?

[00:41:33] Where?

[00:41:34] Where you say you live at?

[00:41:35] I mean, somewhere deep down in Florida

[00:41:37] don't even make sense, somewhere in a swamp

[00:41:39] and you listen, you gotta go sit on the front porch

[00:41:42] just to get your Wi-Fi

[00:41:43] and you sitting there hating on somebody for no reason.

[00:41:46] Absolutely, it's a performance.

[00:41:47] It reminded me of Nellie and Kelly Rowland

[00:41:50] when they had that dilemma song

[00:41:52] and they danced in the middle of the street

[00:41:53] in the video.

[00:41:54] It's, yes, it's supposed to be entertaining.

[00:42:01] Then we forget that it's a half-time performance.

[00:42:06] We want to see entertainment too as well with singing

[00:42:09] they kind of go hand in hand.

[00:42:10] So yeah, y'all tripping.

[00:42:11] Yeah, it wasn't like it was that

[00:42:14] Miley Ray and Robin Thicke moment.

[00:42:18] Just bringing that up.

[00:42:19] I was having a trouble.

[00:42:20] That got a little press.

[00:42:21] It wasn't like Justin Bieber

[00:42:23] and Janet Jackson.

[00:42:24] Like I got a thousand of these.

[00:42:26] I'm like, the lady had on a full body covered

[00:42:32] sequence outfit with the vape.

[00:42:34] The bottom of that dress was everywhere.

[00:42:36] It was beautiful.

[00:42:38] And here's the thing, I should have done this thing.

[00:42:39] I was proud of him for holding his own.

[00:42:43] I was in here screaming, I'll be honest with you.

[00:42:45] So shout out to all things ATL

[00:42:46] but we kind of lost our mind at a certain point.

[00:42:49] You know, I'm like, I'm proud of him.

[00:42:51] You know, so they ain't too much to say.

[00:42:53] I mean, he brought ATL and that was the headline this,

[00:42:56] you know, after the day after it was the headline was

[00:42:59] Usher brought the world to ATL

[00:43:02] because of all the artists I guess he had there.

[00:43:05] So it's just sad that people focus on the wrong thing.

[00:43:08] And I get it.

[00:43:09] I'll be real with you.

[00:43:09] If I was Alicia Keys, yes,

[00:43:11] my husband's going to throw some shade at me.

[00:43:13] So he was up there with us.

[00:43:14] What do you think?

[00:43:15] He's getting a little close to you here.

[00:43:17] Like he's gonna throw, he's going to,

[00:43:19] a husband is supposed to make comments,

[00:43:22] but all that stuff shouldn't be on the internet.

[00:43:24] You know, where other people chime in,

[00:43:25] try to break up people and say,

[00:43:27] Usher was doing, Usher was not,

[00:43:30] he wasn't coming for Alicia Keys, please.

[00:43:32] Y'all know that.

[00:43:33] Everybody knows that.

[00:43:34] It's just a song they had to perform.

[00:43:36] I thought it was cute.

[00:43:37] I thought they did a great job making it clean.

[00:43:39] It was clean.

[00:43:40] It wasn't raunchy and people wouldn't run around

[00:43:41] half-naked, you know, like a normal,

[00:43:44] you know what I'm saying?

[00:43:45] Like it's like we can't be happy anymore.

[00:43:47] Like it don't matter what you do.

[00:43:49] Like nobody's happy.

[00:43:51] Oh, I got a fine reason to hate.

[00:43:52] I can't wait to drop my project.

[00:43:54] Oh, cause I got a whole song on there about haters.

[00:43:56] I mean, I'm really excited about the hate in the world

[00:43:59] cause y'all are just giving me something to write,

[00:44:00] but just giving me content.

[00:44:02] Haters, go ahead, focus, sorry.

[00:44:05] Yeah, yeah.

[00:44:06] No, no, you good.

[00:44:07] Shout out to all the haters.

[00:44:09] Oh.

[00:44:10] Yeah.

[00:44:11] Listen, the rock and roll hall of fame yesterday too

[00:44:13] was well announced the 2024 nominees for adduction

[00:44:18] until the rock and roll music hall of fame.

[00:44:21] And yeah, this list, this list, let's be very clear.

[00:44:24] Mary J. Blige, Mary J. Blige, Mariah Carey,

[00:44:28] Cher, David Matthews Band, Eric B. and Rock Hill,

[00:44:33] Peter Frampton, James Addiction, Cool in the Gang,

[00:44:37] Lenny Kravitz, Ozzy Osbourne,

[00:44:39] a Tribe Called Quest and Chade.

[00:44:42] So, yeah, this one is nice.

[00:44:45] I'll be honest with you.

[00:44:46] Did you miss somebody?

[00:44:49] Did I miss somebody?

[00:44:51] Well, who did I miss?

[00:44:53] Forgive me, I said Tribe Called Quest, I said Chade,

[00:44:55] Ozzy Newborn.

[00:44:58] Oh, your girl, she got nominated.

[00:45:02] Yeah.

[00:45:02] O'Connor, who you talking about?

[00:45:05] O'Connor, is it Sena?

[00:45:07] Sena O'Connor, yeah.

[00:45:09] Yeah, Sena O'Connor, forgive me.

[00:45:11] I mean, yeah.

[00:45:13] Yeah.

[00:45:15] Yeah, we'll see who makes it.

[00:45:17] Of course, you know, I'm rooting for Tribe Called Quest.

[00:45:18] I'll be honest with you.

[00:45:19] Shout out to everybody who remembers Backpack Rap

[00:45:22] and what real hip hop was when you talk about message driven

[00:45:26] and not over sexualized and disrespecting women.

[00:45:29] No, seriously, that was a whole vibe.

[00:45:31] I'll be honest with you because it was in the same area.

[00:45:34] It was in the same time as when Gangster Rap

[00:45:39] was being very clear, like, you know, Gangster Rap

[00:45:42] had popped off early 90s.

[00:45:44] You had, you know, you know, NWA, Ice Tea, Kooji Rap.

[00:45:47] You can go down the list of the Gangster Rap.

[00:45:49] Like they were doing like big, big, big money

[00:45:52] and like our side Tribe Called Quest,

[00:45:55] they lie so, you know, lords of the underground.

[00:45:58] They still had to fight the roots.

[00:46:00] Yeah, they still had to fight to be relevant in that time

[00:46:03] because they, in so many words,

[00:46:06] they would call this soft rap.

[00:46:07] Let's be very clear.

[00:46:08] Like, yeah, you got Gangster Rap out there.

[00:46:10] Everybody's idolizing and everybody want to be in the streets.

[00:46:12] Everybody want to be thugged out.

[00:46:14] Then you got, oh, these the Backpack guys,

[00:46:16] they actually go home to their wives.

[00:46:18] They actually, you know, are respectful.

[00:46:19] Nobody wants this.

[00:46:20] Did you have a Tower Records growing up in the Cleveland?

[00:46:26] Our main store was, we had a couple of record stores

[00:46:30] that were big in Cleveland.

[00:46:31] Diles Rapid Creation and Record Den.

[00:46:34] Those were the biggest ones in my.

[00:46:37] Tower Records is pretty popular.

[00:46:38] But really, oh, what's that?

[00:46:40] Okay, I'm about to say it was this black,

[00:46:42] all-in-one Diles Rapid Creation where everybody,

[00:46:45] like all the artists when they came on this tour,

[00:46:48] like they would go there and they would do live sets,

[00:46:50] like the unplugged sets or like signed autographs.

[00:46:53] So that was big to me.

[00:46:54] Yeah, Tower Records was huge, especially in Atlanta

[00:46:56] and that's the first place that I saw the roots at

[00:46:59] but they were on their, what is it, the tiny desk?

[00:47:03] Like they were doing that in the 1900s and early 2000s,

[00:47:10] you know what I mean?

[00:47:11] I can say it like that but.

[00:47:13] Not the 1900s.

[00:47:14] I said that old, I said that old.

[00:47:16] Lord help me, I said, oh, I didn't want to say it.

[00:47:18] I was like, good grief, that was nice.

[00:47:22] 1990s, all 1990s, way that old.

[00:47:24] Yeah, but 1990s, probably 80s too.

[00:47:28] But I mean, like a lot of people nowadays

[00:47:30] don't know that these places actually existed

[00:47:33] where you could go see an artist or a band,

[00:47:36] you know, just traveling the world.

[00:47:39] And it was like, it's where a record was broken

[00:47:41] and it was a lot of record stores held these events.

[00:47:44] Like, and so Tower Records was huge.

[00:47:47] It was just one of those places to close now

[00:47:49] but they definitely were a retail store in the United States

[00:47:52] and they were just doing their thing man, really big.

[00:47:56] I don't think record stores would do that much anymore.

[00:48:00] Well, shout out to everybody who are all the nominees

[00:48:02] who made the 2004 Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.

[00:48:06] This is music history, let's be very clear.

[00:48:08] So every artist would love any genre of music

[00:48:12] would want to be in music history

[00:48:14] in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame one day.

[00:48:16] Just celebrated for all the hard work

[00:48:18] and all the good work that they put out.

[00:48:19] I would say just come visit too.

[00:48:20] You know, like I hadn't been in there before

[00:48:22] until we went, you know what I'm saying?

[00:48:26] Like go visit if you're an artist.

[00:48:28] You know, I think you'll get some inspiration in it.

[00:48:29] I'll be real with you.

[00:48:31] Like maybe you don't make it

[00:48:33] but when you walk through man, you realize like,

[00:48:36] man there are a lot of people that have gone before you

[00:48:38] and it is a goal to attain too.

[00:48:40] You know, like a dream hope for it.

[00:48:42] Well, like maybe one day I will get up in here.

[00:48:45] You know, my artwork will be recognized.

[00:48:47] My catalog will be recognized.

[00:48:49] You know, I'll be recognized

[00:48:50] for all the hard work I've been putting in.

[00:48:51] It's an inspirational visit so, yeah.

[00:48:56] Absolutely.

[00:48:57] Yep, absolutely.

[00:48:58] Definitely right here locally in Cleveland, Ohio.

[00:49:00] So come on and fly on in and kick it with us.

[00:49:03] Six floors, literally it's six floors in the museum

[00:49:07] and again every channel music is here in, you know,

[00:49:11] music history.

[00:49:13] Listen, don't touch that dial.

[00:49:14] We gonna get really nice streets.

[00:49:15] We got our real talk conversation coming up.

[00:49:16] Come on now, let's talk about it.

[00:49:18] We know y'all spending some money this week.

[00:49:19] It's gonna be some money spent.

[00:49:21] Y'all better spend it right.

[00:49:22] All these Valentine's gifts

[00:49:23] so we gonna talk about the top dollar.

[00:49:25] Yeah, cause the way that I said it, listen.

[00:49:27] This is make a break.

[00:49:28] Yeah, it's conditional love.

[00:49:30] Yeah, you don't struggle with the right gift.

[00:49:32] Yeah, you're gonna be walking back out the door lonely.

[00:49:35] I'm praying for y'all kingdom people

[00:49:37] to do think this way.

[00:49:38] This is not the way Jesus wants you to do it.

[00:49:40] I'm not, honestly, if we could do a poll right now

[00:49:42] we might want to do that.

[00:49:44] No, no, I believe it.

[00:49:45] I believe it but I just said

[00:49:47] I don't know if God is pleased with this.

[00:49:49] I just don't know if God,

[00:49:50] I just have to recover my biblical standpoint

[00:49:53] I just don't know if God is saying

[00:49:55] that measures up to everything

[00:49:57] that should go into the relationship.

[00:49:58] Am I saying be with somebody

[00:50:00] who ain't got no money on him when I'm saying?

[00:50:01] But you know, everybody ain't meant to be a millionaire.

[00:50:04] Everybody might not make six figures.

[00:50:06] They might, you know, make close to it 70, 80 K a year

[00:50:09] and that still might be enough for you.

[00:50:12] But you know, I'm just saying

[00:50:13] I just want to put that in the spirit

[00:50:14] that look at the statue of how many people

[00:50:17] really live with millionaires.

[00:50:18] Let's be very clear that it's in the 5% aisle.

[00:50:21] Let's be very clear.

[00:50:22] That's not a real thing.

[00:50:23] I know you look at TV and you watch social media

[00:50:26] and you want a Bugatti and yeah, absolutely.

[00:50:29] You want that Birkenbag and yeah, I get it.

[00:50:31] You might not get it though

[00:50:32] and then you got to be good with that.

[00:50:33] It's okay. Stop watching, you know,

[00:50:35] Rihanna and Beyonce and them they millionaires.

[00:50:38] Yeah, they can buy it.

[00:50:39] You might just know you go get the Michael Kors

[00:50:41] and get you a Honda and love it and just love.

[00:50:45] Michael Kors, Hyundai.

[00:50:49] Give it a lot.

[00:50:50] Give it to the fix and the fix is in.

[00:50:54] God, I trust you.

[00:50:56] I trust you with all of my heart.

[00:50:59] I trust in your plans.

[00:51:01] I trust that you are my hope.

[00:51:03] I trust your wisdom and I trust your faithfulness.

[00:51:06] You keeping your word builds my trust.

[00:51:08] You caring for me builds my trust.

[00:51:11] It is in your promises that I can rest.

[00:51:14] I stay focused on you.

[00:51:16] You never abandoned me.

[00:51:17] You listen, you bless me.

[00:51:19] Thank you for holding my heart steady.

[00:51:21] I can trust that I'm safe because you made a way.

[00:51:24] I look for you and find you.

[00:51:26] You are my refuge.

[00:51:28] God, I trust you.

[00:51:29] I trust you with all of my heart.

[00:51:32] I trust you to meet all of my needs.

[00:51:34] You are my rock who hears me when I pray.

[00:51:37] You are working everything out in my favor.

[00:51:39] I am never anxious.

[00:51:41] You hear me when I call.

[00:51:42] I am never troubled.

[00:51:43] I never have to worry.

[00:51:45] You are the same yesterday, today and forevermore.

[00:51:49] It is in the safety of you that I can trust.

[00:51:52] When I'm afraid, I turn to you and you assure my soul.

[00:51:55] You are my source of courage.

[00:51:57] You rescue me.

[00:51:58] I am kept on the path and you are happy to help me.

[00:52:01] God, I trust you.

[00:52:03] I trust you with all of my heart.

[00:52:05] I'm Dice Gamble and this has been your quick fix.

[00:52:09] Welcome back, welcome back.

[00:52:09] DJ Focus, Dice Gamble.

[00:52:11] You tie back into the fix.

[00:52:12] Your source of faith infuses hip hop R&B and poetry.

[00:52:15] It's time to get real in these streets

[00:52:16] and come on now.

[00:52:17] It's the time.

[00:52:19] It's that time.

[00:52:20] We know it's lovers week.

[00:52:21] Shout out to all the lovers all week long.

[00:52:24] Know y'all are preparing.

[00:52:25] So yeah, come on.

[00:52:27] Y'all know we had to talk about the top Valentine's gifts

[00:52:31] for 2024.

[00:52:33] Okay then.

[00:52:34] So you know at the top of the list always no brainer.

[00:52:37] What'd you got?

[00:52:38] Jewelry.

[00:52:39] For sure.

[00:52:40] Everybody likes some new bling bling.

[00:52:42] Bling bling bling.

[00:52:43] That new diamond ring, them new diamond earrings.

[00:52:47] You know maybe that Cuban link chain

[00:52:50] that brother been wanting iced out.

[00:52:52] Just saying you know you can always pop up

[00:52:54] to your local jewelry and listen

[00:52:57] you get special kudos when you get personalized jewelry.

[00:53:01] Shout out to everybody you know to go get those diamonds

[00:53:04] and get something engraved in it or watch.

[00:53:08] Oh yeah man love watches.

[00:53:10] Yep.

[00:53:10] You show up with the right Swiss watch

[00:53:12] and you got them initials or that name in the inside of it.

[00:53:15] Listen, it's gonna be a great night.

[00:53:17] So yeah jewelry was one I wore to bring up dice.

[00:53:21] I know you got one.

[00:53:22] What's another one you think is top on the list this year?

[00:53:26] This is hard for me folks.

[00:53:27] You can't, I can't talk about this stuff

[00:53:29] because I'm so petty.

[00:53:30] I like good expensive gifts.

[00:53:33] Every time I get a gift

[00:53:34] I really don't think I wanna give this

[00:53:35] under about $3,000 to be honest.

[00:53:38] You wait a minute, wait a minute.

[00:53:39] About three G's.

[00:53:41] Yeah, yeah.

[00:53:42] You don't wanna give that up under.

[00:53:45] It has three K's the standard?

[00:53:49] At this point yes I worked too hard.

[00:53:51] You know how many gifts I've given?

[00:53:53] I mean I've given some gifts.

[00:53:55] I mean, I'm a gift giver though.

[00:53:58] So this is the one thing like if I give you a,

[00:54:02] I don't know $5,000 watch

[00:54:04] I already, I get the same in back.

[00:54:07] So I'm kinda when it comes to gifts

[00:54:10] either I want a handmade gift or an expensive gift.

[00:54:13] I don't like the middle gifts, I'm petty like that.

[00:54:16] And on our list though, on our list

[00:54:19] and in like the top 10 is a candle.

[00:54:20] I will take a candle if it has a good scent.

[00:54:22] Like that candle always does the house well.

[00:54:26] It always sets the atmosphere.

[00:54:28] I'm here for a really nice candle.

[00:54:30] But yeah at this point focus.

[00:54:32] Yeah, I just stepped my game up.

[00:54:33] I'm sorry.

[00:54:34] Shout out to all of you who are still giving cards

[00:54:36] and like I said jewelry always works.

[00:54:38] I love jewelry.

[00:54:38] I'll take a good bracelet with diamonds.

[00:54:42] I'll take that.

[00:54:43] Well, shout out to all y'all

[00:54:44] that can afford these three K standards.

[00:54:47] And you know, make sure you

[00:54:48] What's wrong with giving an expensive gift

[00:54:49] on Valentine's Day?

[00:54:50] Make it make sense.

[00:54:51] No, no, no, I don't think it's nothing wrong with it.

[00:54:53] But the say is you starting at three K

[00:54:55] I don't know if everybody started three K

[00:54:56] Okay, I don't know if everybody can afford that.

[00:54:58] I don't know everybody can afford that.

[00:55:00] 300 like you said jewelry, a good ring.

[00:55:02] I'll drop it down to 300 for you.

[00:55:04] Listen, I'm okay with it because I understand.

[00:55:09] I know what my wife's like.

[00:55:10] My wife likes to spend some firsts.

[00:55:12] She likes jewelry.

[00:55:13] But I just said, I don't know if that's everybody's

[00:55:15] Yeah, yeah, and everybody pockets can afford that.

[00:55:19] Like so I don't want nobody to go broke.

[00:55:21] Okay.

[00:55:22] They bought that Louis purse or that bracelet.

[00:55:25] And then they click on the top.

[00:55:30] Nice to meet those three K

[00:55:32] I was three K

[00:55:34] I'm just saying you trying to keep your relationship high.

[00:55:36] What you trying to do?

[00:55:38] No, but they have this real this new USB portable hand warmer

[00:55:42] and I thought this was nice on the list.

[00:55:44] So I am not anemic, but I get cold a lot.

[00:55:47] And so for those of you who you're,

[00:55:48] it's just typically the girl that gets cold.

[00:55:50] But if you're a person who gets cold,

[00:55:53] they have these portable hand warmers now

[00:55:55] and you can just plug it into your USB port

[00:55:57] on your computer or even in the wall.

[00:56:00] And then you can like put it in your pocket

[00:56:02] or use it to warm your hands,

[00:56:04] whether you're in a cold environment at work

[00:56:05] because some people work in the office and it's freezing.

[00:56:09] You can use it and just stuff it down in your shoe

[00:56:11] and it's reusable instead of those packs.

[00:56:13] You remember those packs?

[00:56:13] You break them and they get hot.

[00:56:15] Yeah, you should put it inside your gloves.

[00:56:17] Yeah, nope.

[00:56:18] Now they have this really cool portable warmer.

[00:56:21] And I love that.

[00:56:22] Now that's a good buy.

[00:56:23] Definitely would accept.

[00:56:24] That's definitely nice.

[00:56:25] Shout out to all my hustles back in the day

[00:56:27] that used to have to go in a shovel snow.

[00:56:30] That's the only time we use those.

[00:56:31] The hot packs, yeah.

[00:56:32] Yeah, yeah, yeah, cause you out there shoveling snow

[00:56:34] as a teenager all day.

[00:56:36] And yeah, I don't care what insulated gloves you had,

[00:56:39] eventually it don't matter.

[00:56:41] Them things, your hands get cold, that's to be very clear.

[00:56:43] You can out there for five hours.

[00:56:45] Your hands cold.

[00:56:46] Your hands cold.

[00:56:46] Yeah, yeah, so those things used to come in handy.

[00:56:49] You absolutely right.

[00:56:50] Crack them in half, put it inside your gloves

[00:56:52] and the things will last for about an hour or two.

[00:56:53] They were pretty good.

[00:56:55] Absolutely.

[00:56:56] Yep, so now you ain't gotta do that anymore.

[00:56:57] You need to charge yours up and go.

[00:56:59] Charge and go.

[00:57:00] Yeah, charge and go.

[00:57:01] What you got over there?

[00:57:02] Cause I got some more.

[00:57:03] Well, you know, something that don't never get old.

[00:57:05] Let's be very clear.

[00:57:06] That's spade.

[00:57:07] That's spade.

[00:57:08] Oh, don't book masseuse for an hour or two

[00:57:12] with them hot stones and get that back rubbed

[00:57:15] and laid with nothing.

[00:57:15] Yeah, we got oil.

[00:57:16] Yeah, that oil and yeah.

[00:57:19] Jacuzzi to the side where you just go laying Jacuzzi

[00:57:21] afterwards and you just think about it

[00:57:22] for a couple of hours with some nice little drinks

[00:57:26] or whatever you got going on in there.

[00:57:27] So yeah, spa day massage is still at the top of the list.

[00:57:30] And that's universe of y'all.

[00:57:32] Shout out to all my guys.

[00:57:33] You gonna pay for that.

[00:57:34] Yeah, they won't go get your spa too as well.

[00:57:35] Yeah, come on, go get your spa.

[00:57:37] Go get that spa.

[00:57:39] If you do spa day,

[00:57:40] you probably gonna get a little more after the spa.

[00:57:42] So I am with you with the spa day

[00:57:44] cause the person be real relaxed

[00:57:45] after they come up out of there.

[00:57:46] Like it's the only thing you wanna do

[00:57:47] is go lay down somewhere.

[00:57:49] So no, I love that.

[00:57:51] And here's the thing, pajamas is on this list.

[00:57:53] And I think PJs,

[00:57:55] The pajamas?

[00:57:57] I'll be rude.

[00:57:58] So I'm married to like James Bond,

[00:57:59] you know, but with the black version.

[00:58:00] Like he likes his little smoking jackets.

[00:58:02] He like his matching PJs.

[00:58:03] Like he likes nice, you know, where it matches.

[00:58:06] And you're like, where are you going?

[00:58:08] That's LJ.

[00:58:09] Downstairs.

[00:58:10] Right, right, right.

[00:58:11] To the kitchen.

[00:58:12] It's like wow.

[00:58:13] Take me off, man.

[00:58:13] Right, right.

[00:58:14] Great.

[00:58:15] So you had to match to go down there.

[00:58:16] Yeah, I did, I did.

[00:58:18] Okay.

[00:58:19] Just in case of neighbors,

[00:58:20] even when I wanna see what's going on,

[00:58:22] I fly, I had to tow.

[00:58:23] Leave it to shades.

[00:58:25] Why you leave the shades closed?

[00:58:26] I know we, we, we leave all of them over.

[00:58:29] I mean, I'm talking from the left to the right.

[00:58:31] You, when you drive down, it's open.

[00:58:33] It's straight on through.

[00:58:34] Listen, listen, listen y'all.

[00:58:36] Shout out to y'all.

[00:58:37] We love y'all, but it's Valentine week.

[00:58:39] So all the mid couples,

[00:58:40] this ain't the week to leave your shades open

[00:58:42] because cell phones be like riding by.

[00:58:46] You get that one neighbor walking the dog by

[00:58:48] and like, do I think I see what I think I've seen

[00:58:51] and then all of a sudden,

[00:58:52] y'all to be on the shade room.

[00:58:54] Y'all better chill out now.

[00:58:54] I'm telling you, y'all, close the shades.

[00:58:57] Y'all swinging from the chandeliers and stuff.

[00:59:00] Close the shades.

[00:59:01] Close the shades.

[00:59:02] Hilarious.

[00:59:03] Yeah, no, definitely spa day and purses.

[00:59:06] You brought that up focus.

[00:59:07] Purses and flowers always win.

[00:59:10] I think you should just default always by flowers.

[00:59:13] Just don't even think about what they won't fly.

[00:59:15] Just get your flowers.

[00:59:16] Like don't even think about it.

[00:59:17] Flowers are just, that's just what you do.

[00:59:19] That's the part of, I think it just goes together.

[00:59:21] The flowers, the card is into candy.

[00:59:23] Flowers, cards, candy, that is just what you do on the day.

[00:59:27] If you can afford it, if you can afford it

[00:59:29] and then anything above that, yeah.

[00:59:32] Go hard, go hard to go home.

[00:59:34] Guess what pulled up on the list this year?

[00:59:36] This is something new that I didn't think

[00:59:38] would be on the list.

[00:59:39] What's on here?

[00:59:40] Have a customized caterer or chef

[00:59:43] come prepare a meal at your house

[00:59:45] for you and your spouse.

[00:59:47] Instead of the wife cooking or the husband cooking,

[00:59:49] just having that ambiance of having the personal chef

[00:59:52] come to your house.

[00:59:53] Instead of y'all going to a restaurant or something

[00:59:56] and you just create this own ambiance right in your,

[00:59:59] at your dining room or your living room or wherever you at.

[01:00:02] Yeah, you had that chef come and make that them lamb chops

[01:00:05] or that custom steak or the special vegan meal

[01:00:08] you want, whatever it is.

[01:00:09] So yeah, that's how on the list.

[01:00:10] People are requesting personal chefs

[01:00:12] to have that nice little dinner right at your house.

[01:00:18] That's awesome.

[01:00:19] That's awesome.

[01:00:20] Y'all just make sure y'all clean your kitchen

[01:00:21] before y'all invite people on over to your house

[01:00:23] then in the bathroom.

[01:00:24] Who ain't cleaning their kitchen, Dice?

[01:00:25] No, people ain't.

[01:00:27] They're not cleaning focus.

[01:00:29] What you mean they ain't cleaning?

[01:00:30] You got a chef just about to come and you.

[01:00:32] A chef on the way, clean, clean the kitchen.

[01:00:34] Clean the kitchen.

[01:00:37] Don't play.

[01:00:38] I want to shout out the aura ring

[01:00:40] because I bought my husband one

[01:00:42] and it has changed his life.

[01:00:44] And those of you like what's the aura ring?

[01:00:46] It's that ring that attaches to your cell phone.

[01:00:49] And so you were able to track your heart rate,

[01:00:51] your breathing, how many times you stop breathing,

[01:00:55] your stress levels throughout the day.

[01:00:57] And let me just, I'm a witness to this thing.

[01:01:00] Like, LJ is now tracking when he has a stressful moment

[01:01:05] he's actually able to see on his phone

[01:01:07] what happened and when it happened.

[01:01:09] And then also his sleep

[01:01:11] and it also tell you about your health.

[01:01:12] So if your immune system is starting to drop low

[01:01:15] the ring on your finger, he wears it on his,

[01:01:17] as like on his wedding ring finger.

[01:01:19] It'll let you know that you might be getting sick

[01:01:22] or coming down with something.

[01:01:23] And I'm trying to tell you this ring,

[01:01:25] you can get you one, I think the low end is maybe like

[01:01:28] 250, 300 high end.

[01:01:30] You can go all the way up

[01:01:31] because you can get them in titanium,

[01:01:33] rose gold and things like that.

[01:01:35] But yeah, I think we spent like 500 bucks on his

[01:01:38] but I'm trying to tell you

[01:01:40] that ring will alert you on where you are all day long.

[01:01:43] So it's tracking your biometrics.

[01:01:46] It's a great gift.

[01:01:46] I just won't throw that out there.

[01:01:48] No, that does sound like a good gift.

[01:01:49] Yeah.

[01:01:50] Yeah.

[01:01:51] Especially for guys,

[01:01:52] cause y'all don't be into your health.

[01:01:54] You got those on the bus like that now.

[01:01:56] We don't have to say y'all fight over the doctor.

[01:01:58] We ain't got time to slow us down.

[01:02:02] And then tell him to go sit down.

[01:02:04] Yeah, yeah.

[01:02:05] We ain't got time to sit down right now.

[01:02:07] We ain't got time to sit down.

[01:02:07] Absolutely.

[01:02:08] I just snatched his phone and I mean

[01:02:10] let me see what happened today.

[01:02:11] And I just go on his phone and like,

[01:02:12] oh, what was going on here?

[01:02:14] What happened?

[01:02:15] Like you didn't get a lot of sleep.

[01:02:16] Like what?

[01:02:17] But it's a really cool gift.

[01:02:19] But I'm, all right.

[01:02:21] I know another one that doesn't get old dice.

[01:02:23] What's that?

[01:02:24] Weekend giveaway.

[01:02:25] Forgive me, giveaways.

[01:02:26] Getaways.

[01:02:27] Weekend getaways.

[01:02:29] Yeah, go ahead and play in that nice little trip,

[01:02:31] you know, shout out to everybody who liked the ski.

[01:02:33] You know what I'm saying?

[01:02:34] Maybe you wanna go up to the ski lodge for the weekend

[01:02:37] and do something in the cabin or something

[01:02:38] or hey, maybe we can go, you know,

[01:02:41] catch a little flight to Hawaii and go laying Hawaii

[01:02:45] for a little bit, you know.

[01:02:47] Just a nice little weekend getaway and set the mold.

[01:02:51] Shout out to all my people that do still do the cabins though.

[01:02:53] It's something about that cabin.

[01:02:55] You had that thing all decked out, roses everywhere,

[01:02:59] chocolate strawberries and all the other things

[01:03:02] that come with all that.

[01:03:03] And you know, the box of fun,

[01:03:05] shout out to everybody here, you know,

[01:03:06] the box of fun, the toy fun, y'all know.

[01:03:08] Shout out to everybody.

[01:03:10] Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.

[01:03:10] Everybody who know, you better get along enough.

[01:03:12] Yeah, yeah, yeah.

[01:03:13] Don't act too safe now.

[01:03:15] Y'all got the box of fun.

[01:03:17] Guys, what you say?

[01:03:18] The glow sticks and uh...

[01:03:20] Don't play.

[01:03:21] It's all kind of stuff in there.

[01:03:22] That would be in the box of fun.

[01:03:24] Cowboy hats, cowboy boots, yeah, everything.

[01:03:27] Yeah, oh yeah, no.

[01:03:29] I'm with you.

[01:03:30] I'm with you.

[01:03:31] I mean, typically all that stuff is just

[01:03:32] easily accessible in the house

[01:03:33] but I didn't think about like actually having it

[01:03:35] in the box and if we went somewhere like,

[01:03:37] okay, it's fun time.

[01:03:39] Well, you figure y'all got, y'all got grown kids now

[01:03:41] so you gotta think about it.

[01:03:42] They got little kids.

[01:03:43] Oh, ain't no kids in the house.

[01:03:44] That's what I'm saying.

[01:03:44] So for the ones that they have to keep it

[01:03:46] like the cure in a box.

[01:03:48] So that way, you know, Johnny don't come home

[01:03:50] like, mommy!

[01:03:51] What is this?

[01:03:53] What is this?

[01:03:53] Got this?

[01:03:54] I don't understand this.

[01:03:56] Why is it vibrate?

[01:03:57] Why is it vibrate?

[01:03:58] Oh my gosh, it's a lot going on up in the South Slard.

[01:04:01] Jesus.

[01:04:02] Yeah, no, oh yeah, no, you gotta have...

[01:04:03] I don't know, oh God, if you're married

[01:04:06] and you're not having fun,

[01:04:08] I'm praying for you.

[01:04:09] That's, I just, I'm just praying.

[01:04:11] I'm gonna be praying.

[01:04:12] I'm praying all week that you have some fun

[01:04:15] and really learn to let loose

[01:04:17] and just, you know, do some trust exercises

[01:04:19] if you need to, you know?

[01:04:21] Like the exercise where, I don't know

[01:04:22] but maybe you can...

[01:04:23] Not the trust exercises.

[01:04:24] The trust exercises, you know?

[01:04:25] Like you guys have to do this stuff.

[01:04:27] Like trust who you with.

[01:04:28] Have fun.

[01:04:29] Listen, I remember my husband told me once

[01:04:30] I was acting real shy.

[01:04:32] I think when he first got married

[01:04:33] and to him, you know, I was being modest

[01:04:36] but he was like, he said,

[01:04:37] look this is all we got for the rest of our life

[01:04:40] is you and me and all of these parts

[01:04:43] and these parts, they gonna do what they do

[01:04:46] to these parts.

[01:04:47] And I was like, it was just fun

[01:04:49] cause he helped to relax me honestly

[01:04:51] because you have this idea going into marriage

[01:04:53] when you're new, you're like,

[01:04:54] man, I don't wanna offend somebody.

[01:04:56] I don't wanna be too much or too whatever

[01:04:58] and it's hard to kind of figure out where thing is.

[01:05:01] So that's why you gotta communicate

[01:05:02] and I remember talking about that this week

[01:05:03] but yeah, have fun.

[01:05:05] Please go have some fun with your mate.

[01:05:07] I had a lady tell me the other day

[01:05:08] that's why she wear wigs.

[01:05:09] She was like, my husband just,

[01:05:11] I'm a different woman every day.

[01:05:13] I was like, let's go then but that's their vibe.

[01:05:15] And I was like, you do what you do

[01:05:16] to keep your old marriage together then.

[01:05:19] I love that.

[01:05:19] I was excited for her.

[01:05:22] She's like, oh yeah, he don't know what he gonna get.

[01:05:23] I'm like, okay, you better spice it on up.

[01:05:26] Yeah, so restaurants top, this is weird to me

[01:05:29] but turns out shout out to Good Housekeeping

[01:05:32] cause they have a really good list.

[01:05:33] Chick-fil-A.

[01:05:36] Don't do that.

[01:05:37] Don't do that.

[01:05:38] Don't do that.

[01:05:39] And shout out to Chick-fil-A.

[01:05:40] Listen, listen, shout out to Chick-fil-A.

[01:05:41] We definitely want you out.

[01:05:42] We wanna advertise with you.

[01:05:44] But no, no, I'm not.

[01:05:45] Wait for this, wait for this.

[01:05:46] They beat out the Capitol Grill.

[01:05:49] Capitol Grill came in second.

[01:05:50] P.F. Chang's third.

[01:05:52] Panerab Red Fourth.

[01:05:54] They even got chilies on this mug.

[01:05:56] Cracker Barrel Cheesecake Factory's down number seven.

[01:05:58] Morton Steakhouse made number eight after Pizza Hut.

[01:06:02] Outback 10 Bonefish Grill.

[01:06:05] Mind You is a great restaurant.

[01:06:06] Number 11, Fogel to Chals, number 12.

[01:06:09] What?

[01:06:10] Bartucci's 13.

[01:06:11] I was like, stop being cheap.

[01:06:13] Don't take these people.

[01:06:13] This must be the millennial list.

[01:06:14] This must be the millennial list.

[01:06:15] This has to be the millennial list.

[01:06:18] Cause this ain't a grown adult person

[01:06:20] that married 10 years.

[01:06:21] So we're gonna Chick-fil-A on Valentine's Day.

[01:06:24] And I love Chick-fil-A.

[01:06:25] Don't get it twisted.

[01:06:26] I love them.

[01:06:27] I was like, wow.

[01:06:28] But you know what?

[01:06:28] Everybody don't have money to be like, you know.

[01:06:31] And here's the deal.

[01:06:32] Maybe because Valentine's Day is here.

[01:06:34] You just told them to go out and spend 3K.

[01:06:37] So if they ain't got a couple hundred bucks

[01:06:38] for a dinner dice, they definitely ain't got...

[01:06:41] What we gonna do?

[01:06:42] I don't know man.

[01:06:43] I just believe, we, now here's the deal.

[01:06:45] We're very frugal.

[01:06:46] You know, I make my own bread.

[01:06:48] You know, I grow what I can at the house.

[01:06:50] You know, like real talk.

[01:06:52] Like I might have four pair of jeans.

[01:06:53] Like it's, you know, don't ask me about the shoes.

[01:06:56] But I'm just saying like,

[01:06:58] there's some things we don't spend money on.

[01:07:00] Like we, I cook, you know, focus.

[01:07:01] I'll be like, hey, I gotta hurry up

[01:07:02] and get off the show.

[01:07:03] Like I still gotta cook.

[01:07:04] I've been at work all day and I gotta go cook.

[01:07:06] Like, cause that's him.

[01:07:08] He likes to eat at home.

[01:07:09] So we save a lot of money.

[01:07:11] But when it's time to like celebrate for birthdays,

[01:07:14] New Year's Valentine's Day, we turn up.

[01:07:17] Like we're at the restaurant.

[01:07:18] We not looking at prices.

[01:07:19] Like I didn't come here to this restaurant

[01:07:21] to look at seafood restaurant, a steak restaurant

[01:07:23] to look at the price.

[01:07:24] Like I really don't care how much that steak costs

[01:07:26] or how much you're fresh of the day, Kat.

[01:07:28] I'm not asking you.

[01:07:29] I was like, if I want the lobster, that's what I want.

[01:07:31] And so we wait for these moments to have that, you know?

[01:07:34] But we prepare for them though.

[01:07:36] You know what I'm saying?

[01:07:37] So it's like, and we gift match.

[01:07:38] So yeah, no, like we really do believe in that.

[01:07:42] Like, I don't know.

[01:07:43] It's like, what are we spending?

[01:07:44] What's our budget on our gifts?

[01:07:46] So if we know we're gonna spend $300, it's 300.

[01:07:48] But if we know we spending three or four, then, you know,

[01:07:52] then we know that's how much we're gonna spend.

[01:07:54] So but we believe in loving on each other.

[01:07:55] You have to, you gotta make memories when you're together.

[01:07:59] And sometimes it costs you to make a good memory.

[01:08:01] Like you was talking about going to a cabin or going out.

[01:08:04] It might cost you two, three to rent an Airbnb,

[01:08:07] you know, poolside by the whatever beach.

[01:08:10] Yeah, why not?

[01:08:11] It's y'all, it's you too.

[01:08:12] Love on who you got.

[01:08:13] Cause you don't know how long you have them.

[01:08:16] You really don't.

[01:08:17] So.

[01:08:18] Yeah, definitely planning.

[01:08:18] Planning is the key.

[01:08:19] So I plan that thing and go enjoy yourself.

[01:08:23] But if you gotta go to Chick-fil-A, like good house

[01:08:25] and keep and say it, good house, keep and say it's okay.

[01:08:27] Just going over there.

[01:08:29] Just get that deluxe club.

[01:08:30] Get that deluxe grill club.

[01:08:34] Okay.

[01:08:35] And what else?

[01:08:36] The strawberry shake.

[01:08:37] The strawberry shake.

[01:08:37] Get you a brownie too.

[01:08:38] I like that strawberry shake.

[01:08:40] Well, I want both on Valentine's Day.

[01:08:41] If we going to Valentine's Day at the Chick-fil-A,

[01:08:43] I want the shake and brownie.

[01:08:45] You want a brownie and a shake?

[01:08:47] Don't play with me.

[01:08:48] Wow.

[01:08:49] I want an extra large rock pack.

[01:08:51] With barbecue sauce.

[01:08:53] Wow.

[01:08:54] Yeah, do it up, do it up.

[01:08:55] Do it up.

[01:08:56] And you know what?

[01:08:57] Another one that's big.

[01:08:58] And it still hasn't gotten old.

[01:09:00] Listen, everybody want to smell good.

[01:09:02] Picking up a nice new set of perfume or cologne

[01:09:06] for your loved one.

[01:09:08] Listen, there are a bunch of amazing fragrances

[01:09:12] out right now for ladies that yeah, just yeah.

[01:09:16] Let's just be very clear.

[01:09:17] Just keeping up the date with what your spouse likes.

[01:09:20] And yeah, it's amazing because yeah, I think,

[01:09:23] I'll be honest with you,

[01:09:24] these last couple of years, the cologne and perfume

[01:09:27] has went to another level.

[01:09:28] Like the fragrances, they really like,

[01:09:31] I don't know, I feel like they stepped their game up.

[01:09:34] Like all the ones who making all these fancy fragrances.

[01:09:37] Cause they just smell amazing.

[01:09:38] Like you can just know when you walk in the room

[01:09:41] and you smell your smells and they smell all good.

[01:09:43] It just does something to you, you know?

[01:09:46] No, you're right.

[01:09:47] You're right.

[01:09:49] The Bucker Out Rouge, I got the bootleg version

[01:09:52] because I wasn't gonna pay $300 for it.

[01:09:55] Even though I paid $300 for all my other stuff,

[01:09:57] your Eve St. Lorraine or whatever, you name it.

[01:10:01] Everything from your light blues to your whoever.

[01:10:05] I got a bootleg version of Tom Ford Focus

[01:10:08] and a bootleg version of the Bucker Out Rouge

[01:10:10] from the Alt brand.

[01:10:11] I saw it on TikTok and I was like,

[01:10:13] there's no way that these smell like the original.

[01:10:17] They smell just like the original,

[01:10:20] $35 for both versus paying $800.

[01:10:25] And I'm not saying you buy anybody a bootleg version

[01:10:28] of Perfume for Valentine's Day.

[01:10:31] All I'm saying is if you buy it, you will not be mad.

[01:10:38] You won't be mad.

[01:10:39] You won't be mad.

[01:10:40] I'm trying to tell you that.

[01:10:41] Do you have any smell of the old Tom Ford?

[01:10:43] Ooh.

[01:10:44] And it's not too expensive.

[01:10:44] It was like a hundred and fifty, 200 bucks.

[01:10:47] Bro, they have one to smell just like it.

[01:10:49] I don't know who owns this alt company.

[01:10:52] It's ALT and it's just like, if you, shout out to all of you.

[01:10:57] Okay, if y'all are trying to buy something

[01:10:59] for Valentine's Day and you want to buy them

[01:11:01] like the expensive version of these Perfumes,

[01:11:04] go buy them the cheap version first, see if they like it.

[01:11:06] Cause if they like the cheap version,

[01:11:07] they'll love the real one.

[01:11:09] But these dupes, they run in the world right now.

[01:11:14] Wow. Okay.

[01:11:14] I wasn't familiar.

[01:11:16] I know my wife does have a couple of the Tom Fords.

[01:11:18] I can't remember which ones they are.

[01:11:20] All the top of my head, but yeah, yeah, absolutely.

[01:11:22] She always smells amazing.

[01:11:23] She smells good.

[01:11:24] I know.

[01:11:25] Yeah, yeah, she smells amazing.

[01:11:26] Man, I know.

[01:11:27] Yeah, shout out to everybody.

[01:11:28] I smell good.

[01:11:28] I have followed somebody around the store

[01:11:30] because they smell good just to ask them what they have.

[01:11:33] Wait a minute.

[01:11:34] You said you followed them around the store?

[01:11:36] Followed them.

[01:11:37] Because I wanted to buy a Verlach.

[01:11:39] I think it was like the Versace.

[01:11:41] I think it ended up being a Versace one,

[01:11:43] but I just was like, what is he got?

[01:11:45] What is?

[01:11:46] And you just like, you ain't never asked somebody to walk by.

[01:11:48] You're just like, what is that?

[01:11:50] I mean, a smell good is like, okay.

[01:11:53] So I need, I need to buy that for my husband.

[01:11:56] Yeah, I need to buy that.

[01:11:57] Absolutely.

[01:11:58] Thank you, sir.

[01:11:59] Shout out to your wife

[01:12:00] cause I'm sure she bought it for you.

[01:12:03] Facts.

[01:12:04] Yeah, I'm sure she bought it for you.

[01:12:05] But yeah, perfume always works.

[01:12:07] It really, really does.

[01:12:08] So sometimes they be selling them samples at the mall.

[01:12:11] I remember I worked at a, like, when at mall in Atlanta

[01:12:13] and so, you know, when they open the bottle,

[01:12:16] if you go and they have that tester

[01:12:18] and it's still like, maybe a few people have used it,

[01:12:20] like you can get like 20% off.

[01:12:24] If you bought that life.

[01:12:24] I'm just letting you know it's ways to save money out here.

[01:12:27] Man, that's good.

[01:12:28] Mm-hmm.

[01:12:29] Listen, DJ Focus, Dice Gamble, listen,

[01:12:31] we gotta go to a break.

[01:12:33] Keep it locked.

[01:12:34] You tune into the fix.

[01:12:35] And the fix is in.

[01:12:37] All right, we definitely, prayers up.

[01:12:39] Like we reported yesterday,

[01:12:40] we definitely followed up again today.

[01:12:42] Prayers up for Pastor Joe Olstein

[01:12:46] and his whole ministry.

[01:12:47] We know Sunday, unfortunately,

[01:12:50] somebody walked into the ministry

[01:12:53] during the Spanish recording service

[01:12:56] with a young kid at that, with a young boy

[01:12:59] and pulled out a gun and open fired, huh, Dice?

[01:13:02] It was a woman.

[01:13:03] Yeah, it was a woman.

[01:13:04] What a shotgun.

[01:13:06] Yeah, yeah, yeah, that's what I'm saying.

[01:13:07] Yeah, saw it off at that.

[01:13:08] Yeah, illegal one.

[01:13:10] She's, she, she wanna make sure she put,

[01:13:12] no, no, no, cause it's a difference.

[01:13:13] It's legal shotguns and then there's sawed off shotguns,

[01:13:18] which are illegal.

[01:13:19] Let's be very clear.

[01:13:21] If you run around with that.

[01:13:22] Oh, illegal.

[01:13:23] Yes, yes, yes.

[01:13:24] Yes, you gotta be careful

[01:13:25] when you get caught with that joker

[01:13:26] cause that is illegal.

[01:13:28] But yeah, she went in there with the long trench coat

[01:13:30] and opened fire and all seriously,

[01:13:33] you know, I'm not joking.

[01:13:34] I'm definitely grateful that,

[01:13:37] I think besides her and the, well, let's take this back.

[01:13:42] I know she, she was the police officers did gun her down

[01:13:46] and then the young boy that was with her was fatally,

[01:13:49] is he still in a critical condition?

[01:13:52] We don't know.

[01:13:55] We don't have any information yet.

[01:13:56] I just, I really hate that.

[01:13:58] I hate that for the church.

[01:14:00] Good grief.

[01:14:00] I just wanna come to church.

[01:14:01] Like what is wrong with y'all?

[01:14:03] Like, yeah, I just need to stop.

[01:14:04] You know what I'm saying?

[01:14:05] Like, come on man.

[01:14:06] So it's just frustrating to even hear about this stuff.

[01:14:10] And then, I mean, why you take your baby down?

[01:14:12] You know what I'm saying?

[01:14:13] Like if you wanna be thrown off,

[01:14:15] just be thrown off on your own.

[01:14:16] Stop involving your kids.

[01:14:18] The baby got shot in the head,

[01:14:19] focus in the actual head because yeah,

[01:14:22] the police officers man, they are just shooting,

[01:14:24] you know, take this lady out

[01:14:25] so she doesn't hurt anybody else, you know?

[01:14:28] And maybe got caught up in this.

[01:14:30] It's just, it's sad.

[01:14:32] It's just a sad situation.

[01:14:34] And I'm sorry for all of you guys that were going through

[01:14:36] and how it's affected the church.

[01:14:38] And we already have enough of this mental health crisis

[01:14:42] going on in the world, you know?

[01:14:43] And churches should be a safe space

[01:14:46] that like we don't have a lot of safe spaces

[01:14:49] we can go to anymore.

[01:14:50] But the church is supposed to be that.

[01:14:52] So, you know, gun violence is obviously on the rise,

[01:14:58] especially in America.

[01:14:59] And I'll be rude with you.

[01:15:00] You need to be safe.

[01:15:02] And it's sad that you can just order stuff online, you know?

[01:15:04] Instead of going through, you know, the classes

[01:15:07] at a regular store for those of you who, you know,

[01:15:09] you got your concealed carry or your FOIC cards

[01:15:12] or whatever is called in your city.

[01:15:14] But it's just like, if you know

[01:15:17] you're emotionally unstable, you don't need a weapon.

[01:15:21] Like, and definitely not a gun.

[01:15:23] So I'm, you know, I'm just, I'm gonna throw it out here.

[01:15:26] Or a knife, or a knife.

[01:15:27] Lord have, or a knife.

[01:15:28] I just feel like somebody else

[01:15:30] talked it to as well.

[01:15:31] Knife, or a knife.

[01:15:31] He said, or a knife.

[01:15:32] Or a knife.

[01:15:33] And shout out to you guys.

[01:15:35] I definitely, I hear what you're saying

[01:15:36] when you talk about order online,

[01:15:37] but let's be very clear.

[01:15:39] You ain't got to order online.

[01:15:41] There are guns that just go through

[01:15:43] the inner city community like they free.

[01:15:46] I know.

[01:15:46] I've been trying to figure that out for the longest.

[01:15:48] And I can say it, I was able to get myself,

[01:15:52] look, 16, 17, I could access a gun quickly.

[01:15:57] Like it was nothing.

[01:15:59] Like you pull up, you had people that sold guns.

[01:16:02] Yeah.

[01:16:02] Flooding the neighborhood.

[01:16:04] Yeah, I've always had access to guns.

[01:16:06] I mean, I grew up with them, you know,

[01:16:08] you changed the clip at the table at dinner.

[01:16:10] Like my dad made sure we knew, you know,

[01:16:12] hey, he's wondering the chamber.

[01:16:14] Like it like, but we were taught.

[01:16:17] This is the difference.

[01:16:18] Then you had dinner, right?

[01:16:19] You changed the clip.

[01:16:20] Did you hear what I said?

[01:16:21] And then you added.

[01:16:22] You changed the clip at the table.

[01:16:23] And then by the way,

[01:16:24] you can get your salad

[01:16:25] and have your Sunday dinner

[01:16:28] and go to bed afterwards.

[01:16:29] No, this is not normal.

[01:16:30] Y'all don't want you to think this is normal.

[01:16:31] This is not normal what Dyson said.

[01:16:35] I never really realized how weird that sounded.

[01:16:36] But I mean, my point, all I'm trying to say is.

[01:16:41] She certified.

[01:16:42] That's what she's trying to tell you.

[01:16:43] Yeah.

[01:16:44] Walk apart slowly.

[01:16:45] Please don't.

[01:16:47] We talk about all the time like legally.

[01:16:51] Just, you know what?

[01:16:53] But if you have a weapon, you are supposed to,

[01:16:55] you know, let a be responsible.

[01:16:58] Yeah, that's right.

[01:16:59] So it's like, I get it.

[01:17:01] But if you have a challenge mentally,

[01:17:03] you know, just, you don't need it.

[01:17:06] You just don't need it, man.

[01:17:07] Just don't get it.

[01:17:07] But yeah, this is unfortunate prayers

[01:17:10] for the church and Joel Osteen

[01:17:11] and the whole community.

[01:17:13] In fact, those of you don't let the enemy fool you.

[01:17:14] And now you're like,

[01:17:15] I'm not ever going to church.

[01:17:16] Just like, trust me,

[01:17:18] security is gonna be extra, extra deep now at this church.

[01:17:21] So but it is what it is.

[01:17:24] People do have mental problems.

[01:17:27] I mean, that's just where it is.

[01:17:29] But the freedom though,

[01:17:30] like this is what I'm talking about.

[01:17:31] Like we do have our rights to carry.

[01:17:33] And I'll be real with you.

[01:17:34] I don't want that right taken away.

[01:17:36] So, we need to be more responsible

[01:17:38] as a community is all I'm trying to say.

[01:17:40] Cause you never know you have to protect

[01:17:42] your stuff or your family.

[01:17:43] And so, cool.

[01:17:46] No, that's real.

[01:17:46] And shout out to everybody

[01:17:47] who was against security being at churches.

[01:17:51] This is an example why you do need

[01:17:53] security at churches.

[01:17:54] Check my bag.

[01:17:55] You can check my bag.

[01:17:56] Yeah, yeah, definitely check your bag.

[01:17:58] You know, some churches have mental detectors.

[01:18:00] That's real.

[01:18:01] I mean, some people think it's overkill,

[01:18:02] but hey, if maybe they don't have the security of the staff,

[01:18:05] it may be they do have that.

[01:18:06] So at least they know.

[01:18:07] And you know, so.

[01:18:09] And definitely we're praying.

[01:18:09] I do, I'm reading the article to as well.

[01:18:12] We do have an update on there was another young man

[01:18:14] who was actually shot in the hip to as well

[01:18:17] outside of the shooter,

[01:18:19] the young boy that was another man

[01:18:20] who was shot in the hip to as well.

[01:18:22] So we're praying for everybody impacted by this.

[01:18:24] And we're definitely praying for Joe Allstein

[01:18:26] for with someone how to move

[01:18:28] and how to secure his ministry.

[01:18:30] Yeah, so it seems that this shooter

[01:18:33] obviously had a history of mental health issues.

[01:18:36] But what they are reporting

[01:18:40] and this is CNN also reporting

[01:18:41] like there was a custody battle going on,

[01:18:44] but that they felt this was a family dispute

[01:18:49] is what they're looking at between the shooter,

[01:18:52] her ex husband and her ex husband's family,

[01:18:55] some of whom are Jewish.

[01:18:57] So they were just saying this might be possibly

[01:18:59] where all of this is stemming from

[01:19:01] is that that difference of Christians and Jews, man.

[01:19:05] Like that's what I'm sitting here like,

[01:19:07] is it really changing people like this?

[01:19:10] This is insane.

[01:19:11] So it's unfortunate.

[01:19:13] Like I said, you had a couple of people shot.

[01:19:15] You have one person killed

[01:19:17] and all because of some faith differences.

[01:19:23] That is insane.

[01:19:24] So that's just like I said,

[01:19:27] that's just what CNN has on their report.

[01:19:28] And I just was like, man, that's why I could care less

[01:19:32] what really anybody is at this point in life.

[01:19:34] I really don't matter.

[01:19:37] It's not worth trying to take somebody's life

[01:19:39] and then spending eternity in hell.

[01:19:41] Is this not worth it?

[01:19:43] Well, I heard that one thing that,

[01:19:45] listen, there's always something else.

[01:19:47] I'm not saying that this didn't start it,

[01:19:49] but it's always something else when you hit that X

[01:19:51] and then you got an X who's bitter.

[01:19:53] No, no, let's be very clear.

[01:19:55] This has been happening since the beginning of times

[01:19:57] when you say ex my ex wife, my ex husband,

[01:20:03] my ex son father.

[01:20:04] What do we do?

[01:20:05] Why can't people just let go?

[01:20:06] No, that they won't.

[01:20:08] I don't want no one else from you if we access.

[01:20:11] There's nothing else to warm.

[01:20:13] I get you, but a lot of people are toxic

[01:20:16] and they want to just make sure

[01:20:18] if they feel like somebody did them away,

[01:20:20] I got to get you back.

[01:20:21] Just toxic, just toxic.

[01:20:23] So I agree, but you said that X.

[01:20:25] Oh, as soon as you said X.

[01:20:26] Yeah.

[01:20:27] Well, I mean, I, yeah, no, you, I mean,
