[00:00:07] Bayonish Girl Dice Gabbling the building happy Thursday everyone Thursdays and Friday wake up wake up. Hmm. I said it.
[00:00:17] Yeah, Thursday for the Lord his righteousness Thursday come on and get up. You don't want about that bed and come on and have some prayer with your Lord savior.
[00:00:26] Come on finish this week strong. We got the two more days most people just got two more days left to work. Yeah, well, just two more days. Just two days. You know you get to the day even to the mall.

[00:00:49] Yeah, we killed this week though. I'll be honest with you starting off at that money Monday.
[00:00:55] We killed we've been killing this week, focus. I'll be real with you. I don't know when we've had real talk topics and everything just kind of fire like like this in a while.
[00:01:04] No shade to the no shade to us. I'm just saying it's been impossible to not grow this week. So if y'all been logging on.
[00:01:12] Let us know.
[00:01:14] Yeah, because God has just been showing up so I'm always just amazed because God is sure to show out. So shout out to Jesus.
[00:01:20] We got another lit show for y'all today. That real talk topic a little different today. It's on Thursday.
[00:01:26] Thursday for the Lord Thursday. Dice you you want to go in and got some questions about you know why people play games.
[00:01:34] You know what I'm saying? I just think we're missing our blessings. That's it. You know, I'm all for us getting everything that God wants for us. And I just think sometimes we play games.
[00:01:42] So you know, we're going to talk about a stop playing with God like if God's called you to something. If he's leading you down the path like let's just go, you know and
[00:01:52] you know God is almighty all powerful and he can do anything in your life. So this is what that's the topic is about today is like are you playing with God and why and please stop it.
[00:02:03] So we're going to talk about it and I think this is a good one. No, I think there's so many benefits of us being in the faith and I'm 100% sure all of us don't get all those benefits because we don't take God for his word and God is true to his word. He cannot lie.
[00:02:18] So we're going to talk about it. It's going to be a good one. Get your notebook ready in Japan.
[00:02:23] Is this going to be one that you can share? I'm pretty sure with other people to encourage them.
[00:02:28] And grow. So that's the biggest thing. Absolutely. We want you to grow from these real talk conversations we have. So yes, go ahead and go ahead and text somebody right now. Wake them up. Say listen to fixes on and they talking about today.
[00:02:41] Stop playing with God.
[00:02:43] Our spiritual detox features two of the coldest in the game. Let's be very clear. Shout out to our brother, Swoop fresh off of that Grammy win with LeCray and Tasha Cobb Leonard for his production creates off of your power.
[00:02:58] He has this fresh project to his well. There's only a couple of weeks out to his well.
[00:03:03] We go on it's a joint collaboration project he did with pastor John O who's a super talented listen entrepreneur pastor motivational speaker.
[00:03:14] He does a little bit of everything so they they put this project together that speaks to everything grief speaks to mental health awareness.
[00:03:23] Not only amongst the body but also just a month to culture and how we can get better.
[00:03:28] And I'll be very clear that they put it together in a way that until you start hearing some of the inserts of pastor John O on this project,
[00:03:37] you wouldn't even know that it was a mental health project because this thing is fire so you know,
[00:03:42] you don't say what I'm with them and talk with them. That's going to be off the hook.
[00:03:46] I'm glad you brought that up the grief part of it.
[00:03:51] I think that's super important. So yeah, I was just going to say like extra add on there like.
[00:03:58] Grief is different for everybody so I think this is a good project all the way around.
[00:04:03] I'm glad you called it out like you know, it's about this and that even when he posted on his Twitter.
[00:04:08] The other day he said I want to grant me today over the moon excited miss my mom like crazy.
[00:04:14] You know life has arrived grateful present so yeah.
[00:04:19] Go ahead focus.
[00:04:22] No, not only check it out and that just speaks to how swoop just really just understands that you know,
[00:04:29] you have to continue to keep pushing and how God is using him.
[00:04:33] Swoop is currently on tour too as well now to as well for the other thing about swooping La Cray.
[00:04:37] They're on tour. They're on the winter jam tour right now as we speak so anybody who knows swoop has been on tour with La Cray for probably the last decade every time La Cray goes on tour.
[00:04:48] So because always usually on the keys for La Cray for live you know present you know live concerts so yeah,
[00:04:57] you know in the midst of him dropping a project him on tour will La Cray.
[00:05:01] Yes, like you say took a moment to as well just to remember everything that his mom imparted in him and just grateful for everything that he got from his mom.
[00:05:10] So yeah, that means a lot so yeah, y'all definitely that just makes this conversation that y'all gonna get a chance to hear even more batter.
[00:05:16] So thank y'all for waking up another day.
[00:05:18] Derser for the Lord, his righteous this Thursday and come on dice what day is it today?
[00:05:24] You know, it's a national kite day so I know I was like kite day.
[00:05:29] What does that mean?
[00:05:30] And listen, just having a conversation a minute ago with Focus Y'all.
[00:05:34] Yeah, I'm gonna believe this like I said everybody had everybody had a kite growing not everybody.
[00:05:42] I just find this hard to believe and in all the reason why I say that is because like we didn't have a lot of money growing up.
[00:05:48] So having these little fun cool things to do and of course if I'm from Evansville, Indiana so there's a river walk there.
[00:05:54] There's a river there.
[00:05:55] And so you would just go you get your kite and you would just like you just run with a kite like there's nothing special about this other than you learning how high the kite can go.
[00:06:05] And you just kind of making sure you don't get wrapped up in anybody else's you know strings or whatever.
[00:06:09] But national kite day is today guys and this dates back to China 470 BC.
[00:06:18] Kites have been around forever they have been message messages, you know to ships and things like that.
[00:06:23] They've been ways that people have thrown things up in the air to just honor the people who have passed away.
[00:06:30] They've been like guides to help people come into shore so kites have been around for a super long time.
[00:06:36] And they're just beautiful now I mean I don't know if you guys have ever looked at a kite but I mean they can be made out of anything.
[00:06:42] Any type of fabric any type of silk and I don't know it's just very symbolic for me like growing up just being outside and running, you know.
[00:06:50] So I don't know man there's nothing safer than a kite for your kids.
[00:06:56] And guess what they got them at the dollar store they had a small ones focus and they had the jumbo joints.
[00:07:01] So it's like you can see your kids outside in a go fly kite like honestly that's an expression and the expression is like go fly kite meaning like go away from me.
[00:07:11] But really there's the benefit of you flying a kite because you get the oxygen, you get the exercise, you looking up to the sky so you have fun being outside with your friends.
[00:07:20] If you think about flying a kite today please hashtag your video or your picture national kite flying day posted on social media.
[00:07:29] Yeah, definitely I pray everybody have fun ones who gonna go out and fly kites and no one's surprised I like how dice always says people are surprised that focus ain't any blue and no kite.
[00:07:40] Notice how she said so it's funny dice dice gave the example of she grew up and she was walking on river trail.
[00:07:48] You come on it's a river in Cleveland.
[00:07:50] No, no remain ravine so so what you call river we called ravine so it wasn't a trail it was a ravine ditch.
[00:07:59] So if you went down in that ravine you might not be able to get back in it so again yeah we didn't have these nice little river streams like you had we had ravines.
[00:08:09] So no, no, no, no flying no kites we play sports outside of that shots off to everybody who had these great spiral notebooks and we tear that paper up and hold that thing to left to right in the middle and make you a flying airplane.
[00:08:26] So yeah, we had an airplane but yeah, I've never held nothing in ran and let it get up in the air and all this stuff.
[00:08:34] No, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, it's not my life. That's not my life.
[00:08:38] No, it's okay again, you know, shots out there everybody. I know y'all see the levels, you know because you know inner city and probably you know nice and you know very well off situations.
[00:08:49] You know inner city well well off situations so shots out to the balance we have right now in the face of our childhood experiences this is amazing.
[00:08:59] So y'all know they still gonna be on the hood now nowhere listen coming up next hour come on we are we're going to be joined by listen a Grammy award winning producer shots out to swoop.
[00:09:09] We also will be joined with Pastor John O they have a project we go on this out right now is tearing up the charts and it's much needed for our community shots out to everybody who wants to have a cup of coffee and talk about processing grief talk about mental health talk about how do we get better so
[00:09:28] keep it locked for that conversation you know our brother Justin Adams is coming with that faith in sports reports will and much much more your tune into the face is in.
[00:09:37] I've just an Adam's and this is your defix faith in sports report. Hey, have you ever spoken to someone who seemed to have all the best play ideas but never knew the playbook?
[00:09:46] It's like someone who has all the best ideas in the world but never follows their own advice.
[00:09:51] It is booked the Maxwell leadership Bible New York Times best selling author and speaker job Maxwell stated no matter who you are or what you do you are a leader, a person of influence
[00:10:03] and it should be an effective leader you must first be able to lead yourself but what does it look like to lead ourselves daily to be an effective leader odd and off the play field?
[00:10:15] What example is found in a life of Ezra at a young age as was studied and became a scholar at a priest a bear respected by political leaders of his day who will help bring the Israelites back to their land after 70 years of captivity that's a long long time.
[00:10:32] So what was the secret to Ezra's effectiveness? Well that comes from Ezra 710 which gives us the answer it says this for Ezra has said his heart to study the law of the Lord and to do it and to teach his statutes and rules in Israel again for Ezra has said his heart to study the law of the Lord
[00:10:50] and to do it and to teach his statutes and rules in Israel. By following Ezra's example we must decide to fully devote ourselves to the daily study of God's word.
[00:11:01] Next we must make a daily practice of applying what we have read in front of others following we must teach two others what we have read and practice for ourselves to put it simply we must learn it, live it and teach it.
[00:11:16] Let's import the truth before we export the truth. Take some time to master God's playbook so you can be able to shine in a game of life. I'm Justin Adams and this is be here to fix fate it's for support.
[00:11:29] Welcome back DJ Focus dice gamut you tap back into the fix your source of faith and fuse if I burn me in poetry it's time for our spiritual detox and when I tell y'all it's a project out right now called we go on that speaks to everything that you need
[00:11:43] when you talk about the healing when you talk about grief when you talk about elements of mental health that we you know these conversations we need to have especially amongst our culture that we're not having and I'm super excited because listen I have the two that put this unique project together on the line right now
[00:12:01] listen first a super talented listen Atlanta based pastor entrepreneur author he does a little bit of everything Jon knows joining us and listen act town stand up you already know I wanted the best to do it in our space period yeah everybody but please know wanted the best to do it in our space period
[00:12:19] there want to know the truth on the line right now to us what's going on fellas yes good to be here man yeah I love man listen I appreciate y'all take some time out I just want to know why do we have to wait so long for this project this thing is like I'm already snapping this thing as the best thing of the year
[00:12:36] this is the best project of the year and we only in January and I just feel like it's going to be hard for anybody to kind of like I'll do this so first speak about this you know y'all bring in and put this project together like you know walk us through the process
[00:12:50] when y'all created this masterpiece.
[00:12:54] So it's there's been a couple of different iterations of it so I released the book we go on this is what two years ago January and as I was getting ready to write the book and as I was about to put the
[00:13:14] book out into the world I just sat back and it was like oh like people are probably not going to reread a book but people will re-listen to music
[00:13:25] and I love movie soundtracks I think the best man soundtrack is one of the best movie soundtracks of all time right so I sat back in this I'm like oh I'd love to see a soundtrack for this book
[00:13:43] and there was a very very short list of folks that I thought could like be a part of it and I sat and I talked to a few folks and said hey do you think it's a good idea and at the same time
[00:13:58] I think you just read the book you had read it and it resonated with him and that really meant a lot to me right because all the books that I've written like my wife don't even read them until
[00:14:17] late right so shoot read it and at that point it's like I knew that I just wanted honesty and there was a particular way that I wanted it to look and feel
[00:14:32] and when I tell you like school just ran with it and continue to run with it and so from that standpoint yeah at first I mean it was just supposed to be like three songs
[00:14:47] I kept changing it up and asking for more and yeah so what was the first one was the first song that was that was done I'm out of curiosity I just want to know
[00:15:00] what's the first one you know that's a tough question because some of these songs were written before like work real hard is probably the earliest I wrote that in I wrote that around sunshine that was supposed to be on sunshine
[00:15:16] so even to kind of I hate to worry piggyback and I'm about to say it but the piggyback off a job and to answer your earlier question is kind of like do you want the macaroni cheese out of the blue box which slap
[00:15:34] like let's not let's not get it twisted that slap or do you want the one where your grandma that got the flab on her arm there's going to put it in the oven and let it sit for a couple hours you know see right they're both going
[00:15:47] to taste good one of them you're going to continue to revisit and revisit and warm up tomorrow with some games and x y z so it took a long time for the ingredients
[00:15:56] of the of the album to settle so timeline is kind of weird because the Lord was orchestrating this before John wrote his book
[00:16:04] John's book and John's ideation and John's spark was the beginning of what would become we go on to our knowledge but like the earliest song I think
[00:16:16] timeline specific would be work real hard but that was 2018 2017 some around here
[00:16:21] you said you said it like it was a throw away or something like I feel like it was like that yeah you know that one's just you know maybe
[00:16:29] I use it one day maybe I won't because that thing gets fire so that's why I'm just dripping over here so even talk about just just that song right there for
[00:16:37] second school work real hard you you got Jackie on it too as well talk about that collaboration and just the inspiration
[00:16:43] that you want to give in the message yeah yeah so it was cool because this was actually supposed to be a compilation of like
[00:16:51] yeah John say like I had a few artists in my next one is he like we we were at the reach of studio and on a white board
[00:17:01] it was like all right swoop you're going to you know produce and rap you know here and there but you're going to produce everything you know or most of it
[00:17:07] but we had you know yeah Helen names on there like everybody you could think of was on that board and it just started to get narrow
[00:17:15] and more narrow and narrow it was like I think you should just do it so work real hard was cool because yeah we just don't get transparent in the
[00:17:27] interview you probably can't tell via my life or my social media life my catalog my even a steam and respect in the genre which I really appreciate
[00:17:39] the things that you said um that I'm not a rich man like we we live check to check you know I'm saying we live by faith and not
[00:17:49] by the sight of zeros on a check um so I thought work real hard I thought your john about it will be really cool um
[00:17:57] John gives this spiel where he says like man you can have everything and I'm diluting it because John's a
[00:18:04] match for storytelling but for time I'm diluting it and making his mistake you can have everything and you can
[00:18:09] have nothing and still reach hopelessness um so I thought it would be cool to you know not that I'm counting Jackie's
[00:18:17] pockets but it looked like she's doing alright it would be cool right right to attack this
[00:18:25] to attack the same subject matter from different sides of the coin like someone who seemingly has a lot
[00:18:31] and someone who knowingly has little and still like man my my efforts of work seem to be chasing the wind
[00:18:38] so aside from Jackie just being a phenomenal rapper I just thought her perspective on the short
[00:18:45] song would have been really cool so that's how that would be yeah yeah yeah so you know one I'm
[00:18:52] tripping as you talking about you you you ain't got your just do's man because uh I don't understand
[00:18:57] it that's a whole other conversation with you I ain't gonna get off track because yeah you you
[00:19:00] bother getting me a little aggravated cuz I promise you we champion for you over here and been
[00:19:04] since the zoo let's be very clear I've been a fan since the zoo so yeah yeah for all y'all
[00:19:11] listen anybody listening go back and listen to that school and then catch up because he
[00:19:16] has not let off the gas since then so I want to salute you and we're gonna see about getting you
[00:19:21] some old jokes some chains some coins in your pockets yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah my four
[00:19:27] children appreciate that yeah absolutely yeah yeah absolutely I am a DJ and now you know I can
[00:19:32] I can help with that so yeah we'll talk there we love John John talk about the importance of you being
[00:19:38] able to bring this story of the whole grief experience and how everybody like deals with
[00:19:44] grief differently in this story like bringing that thing to life and why was that so important for
[00:19:49] you to even talk about it because I'll be honest with you especially within our culture a lot of
[00:19:54] within our culture are not even talking about grief on this level right right um so I um
[00:20:01] you know April 14th 2015 my brother died and this was uh sudden unexpected and it was six weeks
[00:20:13] before we were getting ready to start a church here in the West End and afterwards it was like
[00:20:19] I was 30 years old pasted for eight years at the time I was getting ready to start this church
[00:20:26] and I didn't know what to do so I just got back to work and I thought nah you work and you just
[00:20:32] help everybody else try to get their life together and if they feel good then you'll feel good
[00:20:38] and things will move on and that first year of the church the school was a part of the church as well
[00:20:43] man every like three weeks that first year somebody in our church lost a brother a auntie a mom or
[00:20:54] a something in our church was just really really young and it was at that point I started to realize
[00:21:01] that um man I don't know what to do I don't know what to say I can't help people and I remember
[00:21:09] through that first year it was like I think the only thing that I did was I was consistently
[00:21:15] losing it in the pulpit and crying and not really knowing what to do and uh as time went on
[00:21:23] people that went through that grief was like yo thank you and I'm like thank me like I didn't do
[00:21:30] nothing but just say how I felt and you just see that so many people just need somebody to say
[00:21:38] what they feel right like um CS Lewis Lewis is gonna say it like this like friendship is born when
[00:21:46] somebody says to somebody else yo you too I thought I was the only one right and
[00:21:53] man as time went on the more more that you learn about grief the more that you find out is grief
[00:21:58] is not just tangible losses right death of a lover grief is ambiguous it's the death of a dream
[00:22:06] the death of a relationship the loss of a marriage the diagnosis of a parent with dementia where
[00:22:14] they're still here but you talk about them in the past tense and these deaths with no funerals
[00:22:19] and funerals with no casket and when you start to put things that way especially on this side of
[00:22:24] a pandemic you start to find out right like SOOT says at the beginning of the out everybody's going
[00:22:34] through and um what we found was I know sometimes people just need um not just permission
[00:22:43] but a script and what I love about this whole thing is that you go through the whole thing and
[00:22:48] write line for line swoop just gives an amazing script for people to continually say right and
[00:22:55] that's the one thing that I've continued to hear yo I felt the exact same way I just never had the
[00:23:03] words but these are the words and it's something special and just just about being able to give you a
[00:23:10] grief right words so no absolutely and that's exactly what I got out of this and um I didn't
[00:23:18] I didn't understand really how to process my grief to be honest with you until I lost uh my parents
[00:23:22] I literally lost both of my parents within the three years span um and it it told me up I'm
[00:23:28] beyond switch I was I was in these places where I had never been in these dark places like I'm like
[00:23:34] what's going on I'm sitting here I'm just riding down the street and all of a sudden I just start crying
[00:23:40] and it's like wow I didn't know how to process it and uh I had to seek out some help
[00:23:44] but beyond switch you shouts out to my pastor my pastor uh we have a course at our church uh which is
[00:23:49] called grief recovery which it is a program that you can go through and get some practical tips
[00:23:54] that helped me so that right there in itself helped me like get up out of that sinking place but
[00:23:59] this project though this is it um let's get back some more some more of these songs for
[00:24:05] man what this thing you got with Scooby-Wop man so first of all listen
[00:24:10] when I heard it I say what sample is that so I'm like I'm like I'm know that's a little
[00:24:15] little sample but I couldn't figure out what sample it was so uh yeah this song uh uh life of your
[00:24:21] dream I mean yeah life of your dreams with Scooby-Wop talk us through that uh you know
[00:24:26] yeah this one is fun um I can't even tell you what this I can tell you what the sample says
[00:24:32] I don't remember who it is uh because I got it from a digital crate you know I'm saying it's just
[00:24:38] samples everywhere and on this specific platform I made that be a while ago like I just be sitting
[00:24:44] on stuff bro you know cuz it's it is um uh I like to sit on money like that just sit on money
[00:24:50] just sit on money this time you got man this time this ain't just regular just just regularly
[00:24:54] just stuff man you just sitting on over there man I uh speaking of like giving things language right
[00:25:00] so three stacks just put the flute out and out and then he went on the media tour and he did
[00:25:06] of few interviews I took one sentence out of all of those interviews and he said talent is one thing
[00:25:13] timing and momentum is another um so it wasn't time you know
[00:25:19] I let's say I let that fly when I made it four or five years ago it wouldn't have been this
[00:25:25] you know I'm saying so just wasn't time right um yeah life of your dreams was fun um I wrote
[00:25:31] that verse to another beat called uh the song was called highlights at the time like when I
[00:25:37] was singing John demos and stuff uh and that hook is crazy that hook is gonna come out somewhere um
[00:25:43] but the story of life of your dreams is really fun because this is the song that pushed the album
[00:25:48] back because album was supposed to come out on December 1st and I'm 37 love the lore with all
[00:25:56] in my heart um and have grown into certain freedoms and liberties at 37 that you know 20 22-year-olds
[00:26:04] would have been like are you going to hell um and one of them is the way I use my language
[00:26:10] um so there wasn't explikative that was originally on the song and scudie heard it uh I had sent
[00:26:17] it to him crazy late uh he heard it three days before the album was supposed four days before the
[00:26:23] album was supposed to release um and just I was I told him I respect him now more as a man even
[00:26:30] than I do as artist as scudie is next like he's the guy you know what I'm saying um but he texted me
[00:26:36] which is like yo I can't condone this on my platform I understand it um and I'm not even saying that
[00:26:41] I disagree with you but with my name on the song like I can't clear the hook unless you take that out
[00:26:47] and me at 37 I'm like no you know so you know I went and got some other hooks uh one of them was
[00:26:56] crazy fire and I'm gonna use that somewhere else um but this was the one so I'm I'm just kind
[00:27:02] of like this album has been cooking for two years uh let's get it out you know I'm saying uh and
[00:27:07] John was just like no I'm I'm going to move heaven and earth to make sure we get scudie on his album so
[00:27:13] the time between December 1st and January 12th was really John making sure that scudie could be on the
[00:27:18] and everybody everybody because that's that that's really the first song on the album right John's
[00:27:26] monologue and my um everybody's going through it's like the credits rolling at the beginning like the
[00:27:34] the you know like universal studios you know paramount pictures and then we go on
[00:27:41] presenting you know all that sort of stuff but the first scene of the album is the joint with
[00:27:45] scudie well and when I tell you he blew that thing out of water and I don't think
[00:27:50] some of the other ones would have been as inviting into the whole movie that the album is without him
[00:27:55] so I'm like right i'm glad we went through that because it was necessary you know I'm saying
[00:28:01] and the hook is crazy like I have people calling me telling me asking me how I got tied
[00:28:05] dollar sign on out I'm like read the credits that is not tied up like let's scudie well
[00:28:12] yeah yeah that thing fire it's definitely ready already so I already got some other DJs and other
[00:28:18] spaces that's like it send me that I need that keep it locked we gotta go to a quick break we come
[00:28:24] in right back or more you tune into the fix and the fixes in welcome back DJ focus dice gamble
[00:28:30] you tap back into the fix your source of faith infused hip hop army and poetry so come on
[00:28:36] talk about you know you you you come up with this whole idea to go on tour and present this talk
[00:28:42] you know walk catch the people up on you know just the tour and everything that you're doing yeah
[00:28:47] yeah yeah so with all of it I think in the past few years one of the things that I learned about me
[00:28:56] is that I don't do a whole lot of things well I really only do two things well and so I just
[00:29:05] want to do those two things in a bunch of different spaces and so I've learned is I hey I think I
[00:29:12] can put together a team of geniuses and I think I can hustle the resources for us to be able to
[00:29:21] try things and to see what sticks so you know after the book came out and we had this song or some
[00:29:30] songs that swoop had made or do rich Perez came through when he created a mini dock for it and
[00:29:39] so we're trying to create this whole world and my publishers at the time I think they signed
[00:29:46] Reba McIntyre to a book deal so once they did all the marketing dollars and stuff went that way
[00:29:54] and so we just sat back and said all right what is a way that we can bring all of this to life
[00:30:01] and it was again like it's not just me it with all the stuff that we do it's a we thing so I sat
[00:30:10] down and I talked with soup and I talked with rich and we created this like evening we said man what
[00:30:17] would it look like to create an immersive experience in grief and hope that changes how people
[00:30:26] process their grief and we just sat down and talked through things and it's like I smell is the
[00:30:34] one sense most associated with memory so let's have coffee brewing at all of these first ones let's
[00:30:44] start off with a monologue on coffee and grief so if nothing else anytime anybody thinks of coffee
[00:30:54] they think of bittersweetness of grief and soup wrapped we played clips from the dock we had a panel
[00:31:02] all of the stuff all of the talking pieces throughout the course of the
[00:31:09] album were from the show that we did in Houston my hometown 2022 and so it was just this space where
[00:31:18] we wanted folks to come into a place and to leave with tear-stained cheeks and smiles saying I've never
[00:31:28] experienced anything like that. Were you able to you know open up for future conversations for
[00:31:35] people to like have resources or like like where's this thing going okay turn wise because I feel
[00:31:41] like this ain't it right you know no so so year one it was a let's just try and see if it works
[00:31:49] and our first show in Atlanta swoo how how how would you grade uh the first show we did in Atlanta
[00:31:59] negative zero oh my goodness that joint was a f- bro yes it was yeah like
[00:32:07] this thing's been come together we had a rollout tv screening and at the end I'm like I can't
[00:32:12] believe we got to do five more updates of this and then we go to dc that week and it was night and day
[00:32:20] and at the end of the day people was like yo are you gonna stay tomorrow can y'all do this again
[00:32:27] and after that show everybody that was on the first one right pressed in a swoop and
[00:32:32] rich everybody was just like yo listen we're here for the long haul um and yeah yeah it was special
[00:32:40] so uh we did that last year and then uh or we did that
[00:32:46] 2022 and five cities and then this year we're like hey let's try to do it in 13 cities
[00:32:52] and we did it and people had those same thoughts what snacks what are we trying to do
[00:33:01] and for more standpoint these past two years have just been there's a big enough roadblock
[00:33:06] in just getting people to be unantimitated by grief so let's work on try to make sure we take
[00:33:12] that roadblock out of the way and now in 2024 and beyond we hope to pave the road forward
[00:33:22] and to build the whole world that's good uh swoop man last one uh want you to break down some of
[00:33:29] the the message behind this chasing ghost song with lacrette uh that's my second favorite song on
[00:33:35] the on the on the planet already actually first what was first i missed what was first uh the
[00:33:41] scuddy wipe scuddy wipe song yeah yeah yeah and then the mom song so yeah of course you with
[00:33:47] uh with uh what's your calling on it yeah that it's like you know lost my my yeah i lost my love one so
[00:33:52] you know what man that one right there man you had me sitting in my car man for about an hour
[00:33:56] brother and i and i did after work seriously i was in tears but then i i did love it i was just
[00:34:01] thanking god and i wanted to a workshop so yeah listen yes it's working brother it's working
[00:34:06] i love it i love it but yeah uh chasing ghost was fun because you know me and great bounce ideas
[00:34:14] all the time he played i we're on tour so i wrote home when we yesterday and he played me some of his
[00:34:18] album and earlier you said i don't know how anybody's going to beat this it's gonna be a conversation
[00:34:28] in December he got he's sitting on some heat rocks and um but i don't ask him to for features i don't
[00:34:35] i don't do that like if you notice craze never been on any of my albums because our relationship
[00:34:40] is more important and everybody's always asking him for something um but it was like no he come on man
[00:34:47] just just run me that verse real quick pinned it and and he was in his tired bag which is different
[00:34:53] for him so he wasn't saucy and he wasn't x1 is the which the more more i'm listening to it i
[00:34:59] actually appreciated that he purpose purposefully walked away from his strengths to make sure that
[00:35:04] he communicated the heart of what we were talking about like he could have just sauceed us and
[00:35:09] been like no i'm gonna give you like heat heat heat like cadence wise next one is he but i'm not
[00:35:13] gonna touch the content uh he was intentional about writing it and i can tell that um
[00:35:19] you know all throughout john's book and and and the book is heavily founded in ecclesiasties and
[00:35:25] in ecclesiasties a lot of the pursuits of of pleasure of even folly of of wisdom of you know all those
[00:35:32] sort of thing is couched in the analogy of chasing the wind um what you can't catch but i had already
[00:35:40] said that on a couple songs so i was trying to figure out a different way to say it uh and chasing
[00:35:44] those came up i had that first four or six bars before uh uh oh no the last four or six bars
[00:35:52] i had touched the first ones to say chasing those on it um so it just like every other song in the
[00:35:58] album it evolved bro it wasn't like yo i got this beat i'm gonna call the cray and we're gonna write
[00:36:04] this song today it was like i got a few bars over here i made this like if you go down my instagram
[00:36:08] feed you can see me working on that beat in 2020 like these songs just kind of slow roll you know
[00:36:14] i'm saying 2021 i'll take that back um so i couldn't even say that there was a lightning in the
[00:36:21] moment for the song a few of them had that it was just like again timing make it and and keep the
[00:36:28] parts that you like it wasn't lighting in a bottle this song evolved over time and the cray was
[00:36:34] gracious and and given us what he gave us for sure listen i appreciate y'all man coming through man
[00:36:41] can y'all tell the people how they can connect with y'all follow y'all on your social media platforms
[00:36:45] where they can go uh stream this music by the book and everything they need to know about uh we go on
[00:36:50] on uh all my socials are at mr. swoop um and we go on as available on every dsp um please go
[00:37:01] check it out and share it this is not a project that i can walk away and say look what i did so yeah
[00:37:09] if swoop was gracious and i think one thing that i do want to
[00:37:14] clarify and we heard it right time and time again like i just came with the seed of an idea and when
[00:37:21] i say this brother is a genius he put that joint together so my role was basically begging him to
[00:37:29] hey all right know you want hold on i know you had that you were gonna save that in the tank
[00:37:36] but i think that that goes on here so yeah it was incredible getting a chance to
[00:37:42] yeah work with him and he's been so gracious in allowing this to be a joint thing but i just
[00:37:47] really want to make no mistake like this was this was his i just garnished yeah a little bit here
[00:37:56] in there no no you did more than that because again uh i think this is something that needs to be
[00:38:01] talked about so listen you know you got our support you and swoop got our support over here
[00:38:05] absolutely to push this project and uh allow for people to know it's okay to you know grieve
[00:38:11] it's okay to deal with grieve but deal with it in a healthy way and i think that's something
[00:38:16] that y'all brought in this project deal with it healthy because we know we have so many people
[00:38:20] that don't deal with these issues in the right way absolutely yeah that was wrong listen dj focus
[00:38:26] uh we got to go to a break uh we'd be right back or more keep it locked you tune into the fix
[00:38:30] you know the fix is in you tune back into the fix your source of faith and fuse hip hop r&b and poetry
[00:38:36] and project pat news i'm excited because uh yeah we see e i the king about to drop a single tomorrow
[00:38:43] with project pat undice do that do that i love this this is a lead up up until uh e i's actual
[00:38:50] ep forever convict it drops march the first but uh these rappers um i really did not know that they both
[00:38:58] had similar experiences in prison so it just makes perfect sense that uh you know brothers would
[00:39:04] partner up on this right here you know that's crazy but this is gonna be insane and i love
[00:39:10] i hate to say i love prison reform or prison ministries but shout out to k drama um and i forgot
[00:39:16] his homie daddy brought with him to evan's villain diana when i was working at the detention center
[00:39:21] in evan's villain diana they were coming through to do a concert and i said bro i'm at work
[00:39:26] today but i need you to come through so i went to the church i got the cordless mics and i took
[00:39:31] them back and then uh we took the microphones up to each and every um you know lock up and let
[00:39:38] people freestyle you know and uh it was crazy cuz k drama and his friend they stayed in a ministered
[00:39:43] man and they talked to the youth and this is what i'm saying these are stories that you don't hear
[00:39:46] focused you know like of artists who are in the community doing other things than music you know
[00:39:53] like you know they didn't have the show up they didn't come to town for that but they were like oh yeah
[00:39:57] oh yeah that jay oh yeah we on our way you know say less so i love the true ministry
[00:40:03] minister yeah yeah and we also what we all need to be doing that we all need to be doing this
[00:40:08] shout out to everybody who was really looking at to do ministry work and be used by god
[00:40:13] and i love the fact too it's well that yes uh more artists are starting to work with project that
[00:40:18] he is very vocal we've already had him on the show here a couple times uh he is a preaches kid
[00:40:23] he is you know uh you sit down and you have a conversation with him he holds himself accountable he
[00:40:28] understands that he had to change up a lot of his music compared to when he was younger compared
[00:40:33] to when he was now so yeah what was the problem before i've never seen i've well been in Atlanta
[00:40:40] you already know uh i've never not worked with people who weren't maybe in the church you know i've
[00:40:46] always had that kind of balance so i've never understood why people just didn't do it it's like if
[00:40:51] you know these people have a great story and they have a following why would you not
[00:40:55] you know religion religion you already know dice it's religion
[00:40:59] yeah religious religious people think religious ways instead of doing kingdom that's why
[00:41:04] you know again kingdom kingdom should be the goal you should think more you know Jesus Christ
[00:41:09] what would Jesus do how do we bridge the gap how do we have these conversations how do we hold
[00:41:14] them accountable we ain't built no relationship but we want to judge judge but you ain't you don't
[00:41:18] even know what a brother is going through what sister's going through have you even went up and
[00:41:22] asked him a question do you even know that they do stuff like this i wonder if people would even
[00:41:26] know what have even known project that was doing this if he hadn't worked with 2.0 because he
[00:41:31] he if he talked about that when he started working with 2.0 then now now you have people that say oh
[00:41:36] he's doing prison reform yeah he's actually been doing prison reform for a while yeah wow so
[00:41:42] again a lot of times people stay religious instead of building relationships and i think uh you
[00:41:47] yeah that's that's all it is so yeah and that's why we we're not going to stay stuck in that box we
[00:41:52] are looking to bridge the gap and talk with every mainstream artist athlete entertainer it doesn't matter
[00:41:59] yes if you have if you say you follow uh Jesus Christ like us let's talk about it let's be it let's
[00:42:04] grow maybe they've never heard a perspective uh until you know we had the opportunity to sit down with
[00:42:09] them interview them ask them questions ask them are they being trained ask them are they going to
[00:42:14] their local church ask them do they have a pastor that covers over them ask them do they understand
[00:42:18] the power of prayer and everything that goes into it instead of just going to social media and just
[00:42:24] bashing everybody so yeah i'm just i'm kind of i'm kind of over that so i'm grateful again shout
[00:42:29] out to you e out of king or on this collab with project pat and i hope that more artists come over here
[00:42:34] in this space i know chance to rapper has been very vocal and sharing his faith just in beaver you know
[00:42:40] Kanye you know goes back and forth we know it you know but the thing is it's an ongoing process for us all
[00:42:46] so yeah let's come on now we all struggle to a certain extent let's be very clear i've had seasons
[00:42:51] where i've been in the wilderness and i had to come out of a rut maybe i'm struggling in certain areas
[00:42:55] of my life and i had to get back on track and just because it's not on social media don't mean
[00:42:58] i'm not going through so yeah again i'm i'm being on let's build these relationships let's have these
[00:43:04] conversations and let's see how what God does because i believe God can be in the midst of everything
[00:43:09] and we need people on the mainstream side to know about what we're doing over here just be an honest
[00:43:15] because that's free promotion we need that promotion why do we need that promotion a lot of y'all
[00:43:19] might disagree we need to continue to be on more platforms more outlets at more publications pushing
[00:43:26] our music and being able to have the advertisement the promotion dollars like everybody else yes we
[00:43:32] need to see the table so whether y'all think we do or not we can't just face fucking a box we need
[00:43:37] at all tables because Jesus Christ need to be at all tables i'm glad you said Jesus Christ needs
[00:43:42] to be at all tables and to your point if you don't have somebody with this type of influence for
[00:43:46] somebody who's this nice with music you know like who's who's leading the charge who is actually
[00:43:52] leading the charge here the rates though we have over 2.5 million prisoners worldwide in america
[00:43:58] and um great great that's crazy so basically for every six hundred start for out of a hundred thousand
[00:44:04] people six hundred and 29 of those people are either in jail or have the potential to go back
[00:44:10] and that's that's insane and the highest rate is in Louisiana and Oklahoma as far as they're in car
[00:44:18] carceration rate goes so it's in it's just growing so i'm like yeah yeah go ahead yeah no that's a
[00:44:25] problem no i'm glad you brought those stats up uh that's a problem and we need to change that
[00:44:30] especially when you talk about from a cultural standpoint to as well um a lot of our loved ones
[00:44:35] and a lot of our friends a lot of our you know people in our circle or you know people you know we sit
[00:44:40] down you know they say hey my loved ones in carcerated right now i can't wait for them to get on
[00:44:45] so yes that's crazy we want them to get better we want them you know for the ones who are there
[00:44:49] yeah and they're looking to get out yeah when they come out they need resources they need help finding
[00:44:53] employment they need maybe some education possibly some training possibly if you have or you can
[00:45:00] help in these areas why not volunteer yeah i'm gonna tell you your resources this is what we
[00:45:05] talk about all the time we talk about community and everything doesn't have to be the local church
[00:45:10] if this is happening in your community you can be a very a resource to go up to your city hall
[00:45:15] and and and have a resource and say hey why don't we have this in our local area right when will
[00:45:20] it ever start yeah that's true yeah that's good all right coming up listen our real talk conversation
[00:45:28] stop playing with God i want to miss this one this was gonna be hot off the press we're going
[00:45:32] to a break we'd be right back or more keep it locked you tune it to the fix and the fixes in
[00:45:38] and we back DJ focus dice gamble thank y'all for uh you know just tapping back in with us um
[00:45:44] and uh it's time for uh the real talk conversation and uh yeah i feel like the real talk today is
[00:45:50] gonna be a little different i rough a little feathers but y'all be all right we're a pre-course
[00:45:54] because you know we're working progress we're trying to uh just continue to have these conversations
[00:45:58] and um really um discuss some some topics that are really like deer not only to our hearts but I
[00:46:05] know a lot of believers um feel this way so yeah the days real talk stop playing with God
[00:46:12] are you playing with God are you uh i'm not getting thinking it's cool and are you uh
[00:46:20] hearing from God clearly on him telling you to do something and you just running away from the shots
[00:46:25] I thought all the track stars i call them track stars dice they say they're running from God and i'd
[00:46:30] be like you do know he's still in that same space which are you gonna ran to the other side of
[00:46:35] the country and you think God ain't over there too he right here looking at you like over there too
[00:46:39] what took you so long i been here that's oh yeah yeah let's talk about on stop playing with God so
[00:46:47] I know you know we've been talking about it and we're still gonna talk about it in um
[00:46:51] Lil Nas X if you are listening we would love to talk with you interview you you know just to uh
[00:46:57] ask some questions and maybe get some fresh perspectives or maybe some questions you might have
[00:47:03] about spirituality specifically the Christian faith yeah but we do we do feel like some of us do
[00:47:09] feel like uh Lil Nas X you have been playing with God uh absolutely we understand you are artists
[00:47:15] and yes artists are allowed to have some creativity and artistic expression but when you talk about
[00:47:24] people's beliefs spiritual beliefs i just feel like you have to be dead on and i'm talking about
[00:47:29] anybody's spiritual beliefs so whether you know absolutely you know you're a Muslim you know whether
[00:47:33] you believe in Buddha you know whatever your belief is um you know i just feel like it should be
[00:47:39] right you shouldn't make a mockery out of it um for whatever reason just to push and and and
[00:47:46] agenda so whoo i said a lot but i know we got it we gotta keep talking about the stop playing with God
[00:47:53] dice yeah i don't know why people want to play with God i think sometimes they forget they are
[00:47:58] actually gonna have to mute God one day you know what i mean if you ain't even if you were not
[00:48:04] religious at all you don't have a religion just know you know you did not create yourself turns out
[00:48:09] you you did not just evolve you didn't create yourself and the same spirit that is in you will
[00:48:15] have to return to the place that it was sent from so i i would never play with God i mean i think
[00:48:21] before i knew Jesus obviously i did but it's like man once you get it and you're like wow
[00:48:27] like wow so you tell me there's purpose here like i am to be doing things at certain times and
[00:48:34] you know it's uh it's just a different vibe man so yeah um playing with God it doesn't benefit you
[00:48:41] from an eternity perspective either so you know that's something to think about
[00:48:46] is like well where would you like to spend your eternity do you want to spend it in hell
[00:48:51] or do you actually want to be read united re united with your father and heaven so
[00:48:57] this is a this is one some people don't believe focus they don't believe that
[00:49:01] anything's going to happen to them ain't no repercussions to what i do period well well this is
[00:49:06] this money i believe it because uh i listen i looked i went to the west addiction area
[00:49:12] and even scholars who write in the dictionary have a definition for playing with God and
[00:49:17] and it reads okay to behave if you have to behave as if you have complete power and can do anything that
[00:49:25] you want so you know shout out to everybody you know just think they can do do what they do what they do
[00:49:34] and it's no like you say no repercussions to it because no absolutely there will be repercussions
[00:49:39] they'll you will have to answer and um for the ones who are you know blaspheming stop that
[00:49:46] i that that's the one i struggle with the most dice i have to look at ain't perfect
[00:49:50] and like again i think i was i had a little season where i was playing with God a little bit
[00:49:54] because again i told you i was out of purpose he was telling me to get in purpose and i was running
[00:49:58] away from purpose and constantly telling me to get in purpose so mean myself yeah i was playing with
[00:50:03] God then yes whether you believe it or not that's what i was doing but when i got back in purpose
[00:50:09] i've always trying to stay running um i don't think i really fell off my course like to the level of
[00:50:16] like all the way off absolutely has some stumbles here and there but i want the guy don't when i
[00:50:20] hear from God and i don't use that loosely shout out to y'all who keep uh uh saying y'all hear
[00:50:25] from God and y'all ain't really hearing i'm trying to figure out no no stop don't do that that's not
[00:50:30] something to play with i think you're going to have to answer for that too as well i think that's
[00:50:33] a form of playing with God too as well okay we got these past god told me yeah no script they'll
[00:50:39] get no scripture what's brought that up the fake prophet okay the lion prophet you know what the
[00:50:48] player we got you know in this this sad part is we have so many naive individuals out here who
[00:50:54] will actually believe you and it we can't count how many times this has happened where people
[00:50:59] just got money out of people because you know they out here saying what god said but i'm like
[00:51:05] if what you do comes back to you in this life for the next and you're not gonna be able to keep
[00:51:08] getting away with that i've had so many people i told you just before focus just random dudes
[00:51:13] god say you're my wife okay that's not the pickup line please stop
[00:51:20] ple- i want you to stop that is not the pickup line and i know you're lying for so many reasons okay
[00:51:25] but it's like no don't play with God like that don't play with God like that i mean one of my
[00:51:29] girlfriends and shout out shout out to you if you listen i asked her one day how does she marry
[00:51:33] her husband and she said well he had a pair of shoes in the trunk in my size and he said that's how
[00:51:42] I knew you was the one because you fit these shoes and uh
[00:51:51] i said that's okay two things here right um i don't know if he was returning no shoes for somebody else
[00:52:00] and i can't say that ain't that ain't how god is gonna help him find his wife but
[00:52:05] this whole send a relo-line i was like do you understand there's a whole movie about this
[00:52:11] just let it go but no don't play with God because it's not funny it's not funny and if you truly
[00:52:17] haven't been led to do a thing or to say something you know and the Bible is very clear if we want
[00:52:21] to get knee deep in this you know those prophecies somebody else is gonna confirm that and especially
[00:52:27] if somebody prophesies over you in tongues there's gonna be an interpreter there to help you understand
[00:52:33] what god is saying because god never confuses you so if you are ever confused when it comes to a
[00:52:39] prophecy it probably ain't of god it probably is not the word of the Lord typically when you get a
[00:52:44] good word it just connects with you instantly you're like oh god i need that i was i was praying about
[00:52:50] how did you know there's no way you can know i know some people been in my business i've been
[00:52:53] at church before and i'm like there's no way you can know that mmm in a way you can know that
[00:52:58] unless you was at my house on the wall they know where you can know that but god does use people to
[00:53:04] speak a word induces any of your life and so yeah we do have false prophets out here though
[00:53:10] yeah i need to stop them god don't like ugly well unfortunately i think i think i
[00:53:15] think in a won't stop because in the word it says if there will people there will be false prophets
[00:53:19] who prophesy in my name won't go make it so you don't want to unfortunately yeah i mean you know
[00:53:25] that's real you know yeah the other thing that said to me that said to me that we always will have
[00:53:31] you know i'm saying wolf out here and trying to be sheep but also this says me that the fact
[00:53:36] that we always have homeless among us that's difficult to as well i'm kind of sad about it i'd be
[00:53:42] really wanting everybody to have you know i'd be a millionaire but at least at a place to lay your head
[00:53:47] if anything then but a one-bedroom of vicious seeing him with a bathe and take care of yourself
[00:53:52] and get prepared to go to work the next day like you know i see homeless on the streets and
[00:53:56] it's just it's sad guys i promise you they don't have to be there they don't they don't have to
[00:54:01] be there either that's the sad part yeah yeah listen we're talking about it today stop playing with
[00:54:06] god don't touch that down we got some more we go out to a music break we be right back keep it
[00:54:11] locked you tune into the fix and the fixes in welcome back welcome back you tie back into the fix
[00:54:16] in the middle this real talk conversation and we talking about it you know i'm saying just stop
[00:54:21] playing with god why y'all be playing games god i think they want to play games but i know y'all think
[00:54:25] y'all can get it off on everybody else but you it can't get it off on god and i think we need
[00:54:30] to unpack the wisdom part of this because i think a lot of people are playing with god dice because
[00:54:34] they are not using wisdom they are like so far from you know using common sense and knowing that
[00:54:41] this ain't gonna work out in your favor the first scripture i was thinking about was James one and five
[00:54:46] if any of you lacks wisdom let him ask god who gives graciously to all without re-approach
[00:54:52] and it will be giving to him again we talk about prayer all the time prayer asking for wisdom in
[00:54:59] your daily prayer at least for me i think should be a normal thing like god continue to reveal
[00:55:05] me give me wisdom give me discernment help me father god in all areas of my life that i am doing
[00:55:13] what you have called me to do as well as i'm not doing nothing that's going to be you know messed up
[00:55:17] my integrity you know all my character you know all the all the things that go into that so
[00:55:22] yeah that's that's the wisdom is a big part of people's uh making these uh moves and playing with god
[00:55:29] i know for me dice um god was calling me whoa discernment ministry let's be very clear
[00:55:37] god was calling me to serve in ministry and ministry shouts out to everybody who serve the ministry
[00:55:42] they know that listen i really feel like you need to be called to serve in search ministry yeah i agree
[00:55:48] yeah yeah now do you do and you definitely should use wisdom because depending on how large your
[00:55:52] ministry is you might be a lot of your time your spare time you thought you had or maybe even some
[00:56:00] personal time from your family might be pulled and when i say that when i say walking in leadership
[00:56:05] at a church so if you are in leadership ministry at a church yeah it is taxing and you have to
[00:56:11] use wisdom and don't just take the position just for the popularity or just to say i'm one of my
[00:56:19] fish or whatever honest no that's not using wisdom because absolutely with that should be a
[00:56:25] charged you take that that place in office upon your church has a church official you need to be
[00:56:32] called to make sure you can sacrifice time to serve the people that's what you're there for
[00:56:36] i know a lot of y'all think you know it's glitz and glamza team you know no no the real ministry
[00:56:41] is to serve the people so all of our leaders are there when you talk about of course it starts at our
[00:56:46] pastor then it goes to you know the elders the deacons the ministers yes you air all everybody in
[00:56:52] that office is charged to not only preach the gospel but also you are charged to make sure you're
[00:56:59] helping the people walking with the people giving making sure the people have the resources making
[00:57:03] sure the people are getting into the light groups maybe coaching them off the edge at two o'clock
[00:57:07] in the morning because yeah they tripping and they somebody called you about to go on a strip club
[00:57:12] and mess up his whole relationship and yeah they need somebody to talk to you right there
[00:57:17] yeah those are the things i say use wisdom especially when you talk about ministry and being a
[00:57:21] church leader make sure you're called to do that and get sacrificed that time because that might not
[00:57:28] everybody's story just to say you have a position that's good and i love the fact that you pointed
[00:57:34] that out because i think some people viewed just want an accolade that title that whatever so people
[00:57:39] will reverence them in a certain type of way um we do have a great example of scripture where
[00:57:48] god put something in somebody's flesh right so that they would not think too highly of
[00:57:55] themself and i want to say i think the reason why this was given is because uh this particular
[00:58:00] individual should not have played with god and and did not need to play with god so um let's talk
[00:58:06] about Paul so second Corinthians chapter 12 7 through 9 says to keep me from becoming conceded
[00:58:12] because of these surpassingly great revelations there was given me a thorn in my flesh a messenger
[00:58:18] of Satan to torment me i pleaded with the Lord to take it away from me but he said to me my grace
[00:58:23] is sufficient for you from our powers may perfect and weakness therefore i will boast all the more
[00:58:27] gladly about my weakness so that christ power may rest on me and so this is an example focus honestly of
[00:58:36] you may have a heavier burden so that you would continue to focus on the things of christ because
[00:58:42] god doesn't want you to play with this you know so it could be like okay i'm going to give you a
[00:58:47] reminder that you know i'm saying i'm all allow you to do but yeah i'm i'm gonna give you this
[00:58:53] reminder it might be a tough reminder too but something that helps you stay focused so you
[00:58:59] will understand like god has a purpose for your life and you need to you need to go ahead and
[00:59:04] knock this thing out regardless but yeah um we don't need to play with god god god don't play with us
[00:59:09] you know what if what if god every 30 minutes just stopped our breath because he wanted to
[00:59:14] wow let me just see what they do oh wow nobody's breathing for 30 minutes just just random
[00:59:22] acts of corneanus because he can right he can do anything you want to do but it's like a lot of
[00:59:28] times we need to put ourselves in the position of god like um i can't remember the scripture but
[00:59:33] it's talking about like a thousand days is like one of ours in in in in god's life right or in our
[00:59:40] life and i was thinking if i if i'm repenting or i'm apologizing you know every other day for some
[00:59:50] foolery how many times have i really apologized it for some foolery in the eyes of god you know like
[00:59:55] if i am sending one day in my life how many days have I actually been sending in the eyes of god
[01:00:01] like if what are days being multiplied you know and if i know i'm forgiving too and i'm asking for
[01:00:07] forgiveness it's like don't i look silly when i keep going back to god and asking for forgiveness for
[01:00:13] the same thing like um i just don't think we need to be playing with god i honestly time
[01:00:19] we don't we don't know how much time we have we don't know how much time we have to do a certain
[01:00:23] thing and we're all called to do something we all have purpose and i just think when you play with
[01:00:28] god even from a health perspective we talk about the all time too focused like let me be healthier so
[01:00:32] i can continue to do the things god wants me to do and have the blessings like i truly believe
[01:00:37] some of us don't get our blessings because we never take god seriously we just keep joking about this
[01:00:43] thing and um you know god wants to bless us you know but our faithfulness is super important we got to
[01:00:50] keep on showing up and um you know so we we ask god for a lot begging god for every single thing we
[01:00:56] want but it's like but you be playing with her now like if i actually go pray for somebody we go do
[01:01:00] if i actually go so see somewhere where you where you don't go to church would you go do it you know
[01:01:05] like you know so you know we we got these impossible situations but we have a god that loves the
[01:01:10] impossible so i just think yeah i just think we need to take them a little more seriously we're playing
[01:01:16] with them we do and that's scripture you were talking about we're referring to was a second
[01:01:20] Peter 3 and 8 thank you but do not forget this one thing dear friends with the lord a day is like
[01:01:25] a thousand years and a thousand years are like a date so yeah that's that's real so yeah listen
[01:01:31] i don't know why y'all think um yeah so so yeah we need to constantly understand that uh you know
[01:01:39] human understanding it's not gods understand all not at all yeah yeah that's you know we have
[01:01:44] these scriptures his ways are not always so we we need to always keep that in mind and again this
[01:01:51] is why it's so important to continue to develop your own relationship with god your prayer life
[01:01:56] your study life is key so that you won't play games with god yeah it is on it's on it's on it's
[01:02:03] on it's on it to be a part of this you know i know we wake up in the morning we tired we fuss
[01:02:08] okay i'm tired you know and it's like okay but it is a gift every day is a gift
[01:02:14] and so i'm just hoping we do take it more seriously sorry to cut you off but yeah now we good
[01:02:20] that was it all i was saying to us well it's yes take it seriously every day is a blessing
[01:02:25] we get the opportunity to wake up another day and with that comes a responsibility
[01:02:31] that we need to be absolutely representing our lord and savior Jesus Christ the white way
[01:02:35] yes let's stop playing with god it's it's a new year it's a new day listen forget about tomorrow
[01:02:41] i mean forget about yesterday uh today is here you can do the right thing today and stop
[01:02:47] playing with god if he's called you to do something let's do it he's called you to open a business he's
[01:02:51] called you to open a ministry whatever it may be go back to school listen stop playing with god
[01:02:56] he's told you to do it do it we need to get up and go let's get up and go i love that
[01:03:00] souls are at stake too so it's like you know we we you know we we missing out like eight
[01:03:05] souls that's right so so these souls is out here like lost and if you just turn your tv on turn
[01:03:10] on your instagram facebook whatever you want to do go outside just go to your local mall you
[01:03:16] you you a walk by and hear some conversations or some talk and you're like wow yeah you are lost
[01:03:22] so we are called to seek and save the loss and so somebody was kind enough to take the time out
[01:03:28] of their life and prepare for us to come to the cross so we need to be doing the same thing you know
[01:03:34] what i mean and i as so many people that i want to see in heaven i just really don't want to see
[01:03:38] them you know just throw their whole life away so yeah yeah they hold on hold on hold on
[01:03:44] that's it stop playing with god listen we got to go to a break we're coming right back one more
[01:03:49] keep it locked you're tuning to the fix and the fixes in shout-out to a man you to profit
[01:03:54] that's a little banger right there featuring a little yaddy i know we already talked about
[01:04:00] the collaborations today you talked about e out of kin collabing with project pat this is another
[01:04:05] example you man you to profit featuring little yaddy and we know little yaddy has a huge
[01:04:12] end of influence over these young up and coming everybody dyes when you talk about the young
[01:04:16] crowd and his influence and lana and south and everywhere he's at so i'm excited yeah it's huge
[01:04:24] and we're gonna continue to say it we need to continue to have collaborations like this we need
[01:04:29] to allow for the mainstream to see what we're doing over here and want to be a part of it because
[01:04:34] that just goes to again i would argue a lot of these mainstream artists they are believers they
[01:04:40] have been you know brought up in church always had a relationship a lot of times they have been
[01:04:46] not have been able to have a real like connection with some believers over here because if they do
[01:04:52] mainstream music and of course their constantly getting judged now don't get twisted i do think
[01:04:56] some of the mainstream artists absolutely if you follow a jesus christ you should probably you know
[01:05:02] as you grow spiritually yeah your your message your your lyrics that you put out it's
[01:05:06] changed a little bit certain things maybe you should not talk about if you say you a follow a
[01:05:10] jesus christ but again i think it's uh let's let's build a relationship and let's get to that point
[01:05:15] and i think that's that's vital and this song right here is fire uh only thing i want to argue
[01:05:19] is it's short i need to go over a manual prophet my complaint i'm like come on loop it or something
[01:05:28] say your verse again try that yeah say your verses son get out listen the shout out there everybody

[01:08:32] i mean you just go and y'all just had these sexual relationships then y'all go sit and get a good word
[01:08:36] on sunday and bible study doing everybody everybody that includes some of the past with
[01:08:42] seeing all these thousands now you do it yeah let's stop let's let's get better so again this is
[01:08:47] something that it should have been addressed a long time ago that's i'm beyond what you but i'm
[01:08:52] gonna keep talking about it i'm gonna keep bringing it up to bring awareness because i think we
[01:08:56] need to stop we need to resist yes absolutely yeah god made us sexual yes absolutely he made us
[01:09:03] warning let's be very clear but it was it's a standard now if you not merit he don't want you really
[01:09:09] there uh do these things that way you don't have to get these uh have these toxic relationships
[01:09:13] you don't have to get these soul times yeah y'all control the soul times i wish somebody would
[01:09:18] have been more a farmer on me back in the day i do yeah it was it was it was it was cool you know
[01:09:22] again i came up in the air where you know a lot of you know my old man and my uncles and cousins
[01:09:28] yeah and not only that they just want to make sure you straight i'm just being honest like you
[01:09:31] know i know it's a different day now and everybody is no it's not different my husband does the
[01:09:36] same thing we have three boys and the first thing he asked him hey it is what's going on
[01:09:42] well where's he at where's he at huh who you dating it is the first this man don't care if these
[01:09:48] children is homeless got a job is you got a girlfriend yeah bro can we see the babies okay
[01:09:57] it's about right boy can we check on them and see if his mental nah you got a girl is she cook
[01:10:03] for does she cook for you was yeah yeah it's wild so but go ahead ain't nothing I just want
[01:10:09] you know ain't nothing no ain't nothing and it's funny because shots out to my wife we were sitting
[01:10:14] with our grandson a little while ago maybe a couple months ago and my wife decides to have fun
[01:10:19] with my grand son and she was just showing different pictures of different women and uh yeah every
[01:10:24] time every time uh you know my my wife will show him a picture he said my grand my my thinking
[01:10:30] I said my grandma my wife will show our grandson a picture of a different lady uh my wife would be
[01:10:35] like you like her and he'll look at me and I shake my hands okay oh see you tell him yeah
[01:10:41] yeah yeah that ain't it then then then I shake my head like yeah that's the one yeah absolutely
[01:10:47] yeah yeah absolutely you some some in that area you know absolutely because we're gonna play this
[01:10:52] game physical physical attraction is the first thing not no we're gonna go play this game before
[01:10:56] we sit down and see how intelligent they are see if they love the Lord yeah if it's not
[01:11:00] something you want to look at for the rest of your life please do not sit down and waste your time
[01:11:04] because again when you do it you're supposed to do it the right way so this is it you know
[01:11:09] again we we trying to do this to death to be part so get yeah it got it listen when you see it
[01:11:14] when you see him yes yes he pulls the yes you like that's my man you see her that's my what what
[01:11:20] you've been I've been missing you all day wake up in the month yes I'm so grateful I was just
[01:11:25] all in the mouth yes thank you breath and all I'm so grateful we woke up this morning together in
[01:11:30] the same bed broke don't roll god do it so yes we want to do that focus I think that's a class
[01:11:36] that need me talk please like like what you're going for it matters absolutely yeah absolutely
[01:11:43] please all right listen coming up we got much more don't touch that down you tapped into the fix
[01:11:48] and the fixes in and we back DJ focus dice gamble you tap back into the fix your source of
[01:11:53] faking fuse here pop R&B in poetry right here on series six in channel 140 holy coach are radio
[01:12:00] and another list show in the books and real talk conversation today stop playing with god and dice
[01:12:07] I think closing thoughts for me I know you got some closing thoughts just yeah absolutely I
[01:12:11] think it is it's go time that's why I'm so serious about you know just trying to get some things
[01:12:15] in order that I know I've been either procrastinating about or needing to adjust and fix yeah it's go
[01:12:21] time I'm not waiting anymore it's time to stop playing with god uh and then and then and the matter
[01:12:28] I'm talking about when I say playing with god listen we have a Lord and Savior that wants to open up
[01:12:33] and do amazing things for us but sometimes we owe that back because we're not in the right place
[01:12:38] at the right time or we're not in purpose or we're not doing what he's called us to do so at least
[01:12:43] for me personally for 2024 I ain't playing with god no more I'll take this seriously I'm trying to
[01:12:48] get up every day and go out and get it I'm trying to get everything he got for me down here I know
[01:12:53] he got some beautiful things for me up and heaven too as well but yeah absolutely he absolutely told
[01:12:57] me I can have a little change down here I can do ministry at a high level down here I can shop I
[01:13:02] can vacation I can uh less people absolutely so I'm trying to do everything god has for me so yeah
[01:13:08] that requires me from to stop playing with him and be serious about my relationship my call
[01:13:14] and make sure I'm in part so yeah ask my clothes and thoughts on stop playing with god
[01:13:20] well god promises the blessing you know i'm saying Jeremiah 1 and 12 god says hey listen uh
[01:13:26] I watch over my word to perform it so whatever I said I would do I'm waiting on you
[01:13:32] to remind me that I had said that I would do it because that's what I want to do and god is just uh
[01:13:38] you know trust worthy you know of everything he said because he said it so I just want some
[01:13:43] people to take a matter's word and um yeah the only thing you do that is you gotta stop playing
[01:13:48] you know he's very faithful and he's like try me like anybody to tell you to try him
[01:13:53] you know i'm saying to somebody you could trust try him you know so I just I don't know I love
[01:13:58] I just wish we would stop playing with like deliverance and what god can bring bring us out of
[01:14:03] and what god can lead us to you know and everything from faith to health to relationships to
[01:14:08] businesses like if we were trust god and stop playing with god so much you know like jumping in
[01:14:12] and out I believe you i don't believe you like it's it's better for you to be like god I believe
[01:14:17] help my unbelief you know Sam think i'm believing you there are areas where i'm struggling with
[01:14:22] believing you but help that part of me you know so I just I just want i want everybody to grow like
[01:14:28] you said it earlier focus like that is one of the missions of this show is this for people to grow
[01:14:33] spiritually emotionally financially everything so um that's what we gotta do guys stop playing with

[01:15:46] i think this is my favorite project by sloop as of yet and uh anybody listening out there who's
[01:15:51] struggling with any form of grief understanding how to how to process grief you're dealing with
[01:15:58] a lot of mental health issues when they talk about depression and even like suicidal thoughts and

[01:16:19] know what you even you're going through the motions and don't even realize you have some of these
[01:16:24] mental health issues going on until you listen to a project like this it's well put together
[01:16:30] you got bars you got great production or by the way to as well you have narration by pastor jano
[01:16:37] who's talking through all these different grief um uh issues and and just really ushering in
[01:16:45] God in the midst of it so i love this project i again i'm huge on mental health i'm huge on
[01:16:51] listen healing getting better i think a lot of people for a long time have been making excuses
[01:16:58] because of of course toxic relationships or you know childhood traumas that you have an
[01:17:02] addressed a project like this will help you address them and then when when you finally realizing
[01:17:07] and God speaks to you and say okay i need to get better in this area if you need to go get counseling
[01:17:11] go get counseling whether it be spiritual where it be uh clinical it doesn't matter go get the

[01:17:31] but go get up go get the help you need so you can get past that so you can be old for yourself so
[01:17:39] definitely i recommend this project for everybody uh who's struggling in that area
[01:17:44] well i didn't even know that it was an actual book focused so if you go to jennos you can go to
[01:17:50] jennos.co and i get the actual book and there's a blurp right here it says tragedy doesn't have
[01:17:55] to be a dead end if it paves the road to a new beginning tragedy doesn't have to ruin us hopelessness
[01:18:02] does uh that's admit in our soul tells us to give up as life keeps moving on but uh what if the
[01:18:08] most unimaginable tragedy wasn't meant to be a finish line but a starting point a place where
[01:18:13] we can no longer see as as a tragic ending but a new beginning so uh listen i'm trying to check
[01:18:20] the book out you know i'm a i'm a book nerd i'm a bookworm so now i'm like i need to go get jump
