Finding Neverland Podcast #45-
The Conscience Is The Authentic Voice Of God. The Holy Spirit, For The Believer.
Hebrews 9:14
how much more will the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered Himself without blemish to God, cleanse your conscience from dead works to serve the living God?Everyone is created with a conscience from birth. The Holy Spirit puts a megaphone in front of that conscience for believers. You can sear your conscience, but you still have one none the less. Or you can live at enmity with that conscience, never knowing peace. If you do this, you are worse off than searing it altogether. At least a seared conscience can still be revived, while a smothered conscience is an active suppression of one's alignment to the universe and through deception, one rarely chooses to look outside or leave that state of ignorance and self destruction, saved only by the grace of God. Just as God said, "I would rather you be hot or cold. At least I can warm something cold, but you are lukewarm. I will spit you out of My mouth!" Something hot is ready to be enjoyed and something cold will stay preserved. But lukewarm and stagnant, it decays and flies will gather to eat the rot.
[00:00:02] Hey everybody, welcome to the final of the podcast episode number 45, The Long Belated Episode. Since yesterday, I'll get into that story in a minute. I gotta tell you about that.
[00:00:17] That way, things have been going so wrong lately. But first I want to give a shout out to Adam Bass and Harold Johnson. There are two number one fans that I definitely appreciate our relationship
[00:00:32] And just the fellowship that I have with these two people only know in them a short time. So I really appreciate you guys and keep on back.
[00:00:45] To start off with yesterday, running into Wi-Fi problems and connection issues and just feeling like this isn't going to be done today. Then move on to, okay now I'll go to pre-recorded this episode and post it tomorrow.
[00:01:04] Then all these, all these avenues started to close up. It just, it was just unbelievable and you know but at the same time I'm thinking, you know we gotta tell you guys
[00:01:16] It's these moments that postponed it to this point that I feel like God really wanted me to experience these things and actually follow through with some of these events.
[00:01:29] We were having an eventorance get to the end of my house and somebody had to do a Zoom call in our house. So I gave him the Wi-Fi pass, we're at him kind of telling him good luck.
[00:01:42] If it were a pretty great and then come to find out he can't access it on his iPad. And so this is just so close my mind. I'm scanning there with my laptop about to go to a different room
[00:01:58] because I'm working on the podcast and coming up with what I'm going to talk about. And I'm standing right there and it's like he sees me and he's like, oh you know we make it, I kind of take and he's like, is there another way I could use your computer or something?
[00:02:12] And I said of course man, I said it at forum and then I'd update Zoom on my laptop before he even opened it and all kinds of crazy stuff where I'm just like, wow everything is just a struggle to get something done.
[00:02:24] So it's a disappointment I'm postponing the work on the podcast and I'm like, well you know in the meantime I'll start looking bigs up that feel like Holly Spirrow wants me to look up and talk about some looking things up on my phone.
[00:02:37] Just making the really related good problem good at waste and I think that's for a lot of our conscience to go to the topic, you know our conscience actually hinges on that where we know we can look back and say oh my gosh there's all these problems we're going to have in any ways.
[00:02:53] But I didn't use them to my own benefit or you know utilizing, I guess hard as the power of those moments and you know if that wasn't the end of it and planning on going to a different location to broadcast live because I just enjoy doing it live. This is okay but I was gonna try to do that if I could and come to find out somebody needed to use my card to go to town.
[00:03:20] It was just in that moment I just decided I need to let them use the car it wasn't. Anything I came up with especially after as few things up and going on to you would think it's like no I gotta do this I gotta get to his net.
[00:03:35] You know because my, but I was able to let them use my car and then of course they were something full after the fact and say thank you so much but I did those things without accepting or without expecting or turn on my.
[00:03:50] Investments, there's beef you know I sowed those seeds without expecting to see the crop from it and I think that's we have to. Take hold of in life. As an example is I was just taught today that you know we don't do things. The right things for God.
[00:04:09] Expecting to see the fruit come from those actions. You almost never see if you're selling the gospel you almost never see the actual tree that boss and I did the seed that you sowed.
[00:04:22] You know it's not always spirit moves on with that person and you know know what happened. So one thing or you share something so. I guess what I'm trying to say is the importance of. Realize it net and.
[00:04:38] For me, you know knowing that I have a message to share and not not being able to do it or there's a tendency for us to. You know give up in those moments where everything is coming against you you know maybe somebody needs to hear it today but.
[00:04:55] There's a huge tendency for us to just say it's not worth it and but I knew in my heart my conscience and the always spirit on top of that.
[00:05:06] Would be easier on me if I was able to accomplish it anyways no matter how long it took me to do it or you know how sloppy I'm able to explain my thoughts on this you know.
[00:05:20] Or how well I'm able to speak it you know. I just can't spend much time thinking about those things when I'm focused on all this you know just doing what's right and.
[00:05:30] I think that would help a lot of people when they can't get out their head and there's a ton of things find around thoughts and things like that where.
[00:05:39] You know if you're focused on helping others you can't you know you can't really spend too much time worried about yourself. I'm focusing on your problems because you're helping other people with their problems. And I just hope that helps somebody.
[00:05:54] But I have a set number 45 let me get to speak here. Sounded thanks for the people on Spotify. Yeah same. ASMR for you. But the number 45 his title did. The conscience is the authentic voice of God and I've heard that said.
[00:06:19] And a few different ways you know from different people and unlike this makes a lot of sense and then I added on there you know the Holy Spirit is for the believer and.
[00:06:30] Overall the conscience I found a definition for I think is Oxford dictionary but it says an interfilling or voice viewed as acting as a guide to the rightness or wrongness of once behavior.
[00:06:43] And so overall it's about right and wrong and having an intervoice tells you what's right wrong and the I guess is the log morality the world has this lot it was an mainly created within us.
[00:06:58] And you know you've heard it in the Christian tense there's a narrow path and a wide path that you can walk. I think too many people myself included have thought at times that this is a analogy I want to use.
[00:07:12] You have the narrow path and the wide path the narrow path is for the righteous and few walk on it very few people follow travel this path.
[00:07:21] And the wide path being as wide as it is is easier to walk on so many people take that route and I think the problem you're ready to is people think.
[00:07:33] If you're walking on the wide path and you want to you're looking at the narrow path and you're saying I actually want that and your your goal is to get to that path.
[00:07:42] And I think they have to backtrack all the way to this pivot point where you start like a fork and a road in order to get on the path of righteousness and it's just not the case at all.
[00:07:55] You can get real creative with it like even to the point of putting your footsteps in the footsteps you've left or in your footprints on the way backwards and walking backwards that's how difficult we've created it to be in a devil would have you believe it.
[00:08:08] So that you just don't even think about doing that but I attribute it to the past actually being parallel to one another and only being so many feet across from one another where you're actually able to walk across to the other path directly from where you are.
[00:08:25] And the grace of Jesus Christ and his sacrifice this is the analogy that I think about where you don't have to get right in order to know him. You make a decision to go towards him and help grab your hand and bring you across.
[00:08:43] And I think about what you think that wilderness is it's the path between the why and the narrow that you're traversing at the moment because you were focused on leaving the wide path.
[00:08:53] And what do you think that you know the wilderness, the Israelites were in the wilderness for a time but they were being taught the whole time and and harvested to produce the fruit they got one out of his people.
[00:09:05] And I think that's something that would probably change a lot of people's perspective on things and that's the other thing too conscious has a lot to do with your perspective.
[00:09:16] If your conscience isn't right, your perspective is going to be skewed and your perspective shapes everything as you do or don't do.
[00:09:24] So it just has a hold on and this is the way you got created. I see one is to have this this inner voice to tell us what. What's what to do and what not to do.
[00:09:35] You know, this is just some of my words that I came up with so real quick. I just I just put this down everyone's creative with the conscience from birth the Holy Spirit puts a megaphone of friend of that conscience for believers.
[00:09:54] You can see your conscience, but you still have one nonetheless or you can live it enmity with that conscience never knowing these.
[00:10:02] If you do this, you are worse off than Siri and altogether at least a Siri conscience can still be revived while some other conscience is an active suppression of ones alignment to universe.
[00:10:15] This is a very simple and simple perception. One rarely choose to look outside early that state of ignorance and self destruction saved only by the grace of God.
[00:10:25] Just as God said, I would rather you be hot or cold at least I can warm something cold but you are lukewarm. I will speech you out of my mouth something hot is ready to be enjoyed and something cold will stay preserved.
[00:10:39] I will stand in the case and the flies will gather to eat the rod.
[00:10:44] Man, I just don't know how I came up with that whole paragraph but it's just another analogy that I think is so spot on where you know you can have a seared conscience where you don't you don't think anything is wrong anymore you totally and there's so many people that are like that.
[00:11:06] Or you can have a clear conscience but then there's also a middle ground that I didn't even have in that which is a deceived conscience where you think that you're doing right when you're actually doing wrong and that's the worst place you could possibly be in that's the lukewarm state.
[00:11:23] I mean, it's not just not deception unless it's working and you really know that is happening to you.
[00:11:32] But you know they rarely leave that state because this is very comfortable and there's no outside forces working aside from calamity me falling your entire life and you don't know how to get out of it. You sit in that and you don't find the answers you don't find.
[00:11:53] You know the way out of those situations and as just the sad reality of most people's choice in their spiritual life.
[00:12:01] I've got some scriptures here that kind of go into the conscience here and this is Paul writing in first Timothy chapter four verse two by means of the hypocrisy of liars.
[00:12:13] Seared in their own conscience as with a branding iron talking about your conscience being seared he's saying that. liars and hypocrites are in danger of the seared consciousness and it just makes make sense that that's your destination.
[00:12:32] You live because you don't want to even know the truth about your own state of mind and your own being so you're lying to yourself.
[00:12:38] You're lying to other people and telling them that it's okay and you want other people to lie to you also and why do you think people get so angry when people point out the truth about something you know whether it be abortion.
[00:12:50] The killing of innocent life and things like that and they just manifest right in front of you with evil. Shouts and cries is because their their consciousness just stabbing them in the heart saying oh my gosh, that's the truth and they can't comprehend.
[00:13:08] Somebody not lying to their face and telling them what they want to hear just lying straight to their face and say. You know love is love you do it every once so you know they can't believe somebody's actually standing up for what's right wrong anymore.
[00:13:24] I think if you're worried that you have a seared conscience, you really don't if you're thinking that to yourself.
[00:13:31] People with a seared conscience don't ask themselves a question like I said they they are already said and that way of not not caring so if you're asking yourself that question I'll thank you do.
[00:13:44] If you think just like if you think you're crazy then you aren't because she crazy people don't sit there and think am I crazy or not they think whatever they're thinking is not I'm crazy they think they're totally doing whatever it is right you know.
[00:13:59] And if you're even thinking they got speaking to you he is. Figure it out now this is really what I've come come down to in my life or it's not my mind I'm not coming up with these ideas to help other people are do things that.
[00:14:14] I normally wouldn't do to serve my purposes which you know you would think my purpose would be to just focus on music and I like the band and things like that when I feel a calling to do this this podcast I'm spending so much time trying to get something done it doesn't even get done at the time that I wanted to get done.
[00:14:34] I look crazy from the outside here you know people and then other people can't understand why you're doing it and you're not and then you feel like you're not given them enough time and your days but you just you're just you're just committed to what you know you're supposed to do or not and that could be different for anybody.
[00:14:53] Some people might think those those things are benign like when I was talking about the laptop and the car it does are really just been nice things have no meaning it was just it could have happened or not happening you know great that's that's great that she think that but it's not for you is for me.
[00:15:09] I'm just telling the story to you but I'm telling you it's not for them it's not for you know it's actually for me and got to share that moment together so nobody has to understand it and we have to know why I do certain things and why I don't do certain things.
[00:15:24] I was out of gods you know long and playing for my life if I'm following it. In the progress chapter 14 verse 12 there's the verse this says there is a way which seems right to a man but it's end is the way of death.
[00:15:46] I'm saying already telling us we already know deep inside that we can be deceived and be deceived ourselves and thinking we're following gods.
[00:15:58] You know plan for our life and it seems right to us but the end of it is death and the wages of sin is death so sinful living is you know death in the physical but also just spiritually and it's end of the moment it's not something that's not going to be done.
[00:16:16] It's at the end of your life you're experiencing death in that moment and that's why it's important to purge yourself with that sin and actually clear your conscience and has for forgiveness and forgive others also.
[00:16:28] Or it's not going to get right you could do everything else but that and it's not going to happen. It's just the way God said things up is the way he said up to you.
[00:16:40] These are the laws and it's telling us that we'll be judged by that law you know it's something none of us can do anything about.
[00:16:49] So you have to accept it honestly and eventually when you love God and you know God you understand it and you actually think him for the the laws that he has put in place and it did keep you alive to this point spiritually and physically.
[00:17:04] You know the conscience is only as good as it's education. It must be trained and guided so though we were born with the conscience if you're not guiding it and giving it the right direction to traveling.
[00:17:22] It's going to be spoiled it's going to be very lukewarm and just go down a sear path eventually where you had no parameter you had no compass to show you where.
[00:17:36] How to use it and that's just the best part about Jesus coming to earth as he showed us how to live and how to walk it out.
[00:17:45] And all of his teachings you know talk about these things that I think this is one that he said in the book of John chapter 16 verse two they will make you outcast from the synagogue but an hour is coming for everyone who kills you to think that he has offering service to God.
[00:18:04] Right there we can anybody see the crusades anybody say religious persecution and this country doesn't know what that looks like yet but believe me it's come.
[00:18:18] There's going to be a day where you can't post this there's going to be a day where you can't meet in a church.
[00:18:24] And when we had COVID that was one of those times where we were starting to happen where they went and let people go to churches for different reasons but honestly it wasn't important on there and it wasn't high up on their list to make sure our religion in our spiritual health was was being taken care of.
[00:18:40] But honestly this is another example of people's conscience even within the church ranks of just being completely worked. You know everyone kills you thinks that they're offering a service to God.
[00:18:55] You know what's happening in a Middle East when it comes to Muslim religion in terrorist acts devout Muslims that you know think that they're offering to God. So their work ideology as terrorism taking the reason of Islam and just making it you know.
[00:19:18] A war against gas people and a G.H. is just absolutely clear cut example of the monic influence and taking honestly taking the words of God because the Korean agrees with the Bible a lot but taking the words of God.
[00:19:33] And just using them for it he knows the scripture better than we do he knows that he knows it way more than we do you know I can I can beat him at memory verses or something you know if you're if you're doing that it's like.
[00:19:47] You got to get some meat in your diet, you know you got to get into the word. You know this this other verse here is. I don't think I put the verse number here but it's. Since for the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all.
[00:20:08] Ungodliness and unrighteousness of men who suppress the truth and unrighteousness because that which is known about God is evident within them. For God mean to evident to them for a sense of creation of the world is invisible attributes his eternal power and divine nature have been clearly seen.
[00:20:28] Been understood through what has been made so that they are without excuse. And here it's in. I think this is Paul talking I don't know what book that was that's Paul saying that. Ultimately saying we don't have any excuse not to.
[00:20:44] Follow God and to know that there is a God and see came out. All of creation has even witnessed his glory and his existence. So you know if you ask someone if they believe I got very rarely to somebody say.
[00:21:02] I don't believe there is I got you know they might say they don't follow God or they don't. You know believe in him but they most people and their spirit they know that there is a creator and so.
[00:21:17] You can just imagine all the people they have made it up in their mind and just made a decision to not. Follow God they're also trying to war within themselves over the idea that there is a God still and that they have someone to account to.
[00:21:34] Ultimately just lying to themselves hoping that one day they're really exception to the role and that they will escape judgment. If they just believe hard enough that you know they won't have to follow this follow this path that was ultimately said before them since they were born.
[00:21:52] Before the creation of earth God knew us. But no one has a nice use. You know God is telling us that we have a conscience and that he gave it to us. And it's one that we cannot deny.
[00:22:08] No matter how much we believe we want to believe it that there is no right and wrong. It's just not in the cars. And you see it in every religion that's on the earth there's a moral law.
[00:22:23] Did they somehow, somehow everybody got it on the corners of there or somehow everybody got the moral code and it just looks different and read differently in different religions.
[00:22:34] But tell me that's not a universal God and one you know one God worship that's happening even though it's from many different angles. And the book of Matthew Jesus says in chapter 12 verse 36 that 37.
[00:22:55] I tell you on the day of judgment people will give a count for every careless word they speak. For by your words you will be justified and by your words you will be condemned.
[00:23:07] He's telling us that everything that you said today that was careless and in that faith. Or meant to break somebody down it's being recorded. And we're going to have to even account for those things that we've done and I'll take it a stand further.
[00:23:27] It's just a verse in the talk about things you were supposed to do when you did it. It's since you have sins of co-mission like you commit and then there's sins of omission that you omit.
[00:23:41] You were supposed to help that person out and you chose not to God told you to do this. You chose not to do it. It were too busy things like that and you can get down to the real fine dust with it and just realize we're lost.
[00:23:56] We have no chance and he's chilling us that we just have no chance. You can't follow this law.
[00:24:02] You can't you can't keep the law and our inability to keep the law is why he had to die in the cross in the first place to save us from the penalty of it. The penalty I seen is death. Then he says in chapter 12 same chapter verse 47 to 48.
[00:24:30] If anyone hears my words, well let me go back and look at sorry. He says he said for by your words you would be justified and by your words you would be condemned.
[00:24:40] I want to make a point that your words is what is what justifies you or condemned you. So that's really important to really our words and our actions is the thing that will testify against us on judgment day.
[00:24:57] If you're watching the blood of Christ, those things will not be held against you on that day. Actually I've been forgiven for those things. I got wants to forgive people. He wants to spend her repent and turn away from their sin.
[00:25:14] There's forgiveness and then there's repentance for that forgiveness. There's two different things that we all know that this is if you keep sinning you're not really looking for the forgiveness. You just want you don't want forgiveness.
[00:25:29] You want mercy and but you want to keep doing what you were doing. You just don't want the consequences for what you were doing to this. I'm familiar with anybody today. No consequences for your actions and it just breeds sin. John chapter 12 verse 47 to 48.
[00:25:46] If anyone hears my words and does not keep them, I did not judge him for I did not come to judge the world. But to save the world, the one who rejects me and does not receive my words has a judge.
[00:25:57] The word that I spoke and will judge him on the last day again. He's telling people he's even saying look, I could judge you but I don't have to. Jesus is telling us you've already judged yourself.
[00:26:10] You've passed judgment over your own life by the things you did or she was not to do. Based on the words that he spoke and he's saying my words had judged you.
[00:26:21] And when this is you know, having an earth will pass away but not one word from you know my law will ever pass away. He's telling us yes the laws still something that we're held against and it's that law.
[00:26:37] It should be written on our hearts and in Christ we are just a fight through that to keep the law. Our inability to keep it is not so much of a burden on us when it takes up a burden off of us.
[00:26:51] And he carries that burden in romance chapter two to verse his team. In that they show the work of the law written in their hearts. Their conscience bearing witness and their thoughts alternately accusing or else defending them. Yet again this is the same thing.
[00:27:11] Your conscience is witnessing against you your conscience is telling on you. You can you know I can tell somebody's lying. Your conscience is swearing in on their sleeves and they can see it in their face and you know bylling with Jesper's can tell.
[00:27:27] And if someone's looking around too much and things like that and then we've got something called a polygraph test where it measures the actual. Purned coming from your your muscles and you're hand just on your fingertips that's all I need.
[00:27:43] And you're telling on yourself the entire time if you're lying. And it reads that you know what on a polygraph test on exactly how it works but that's pretty wicked you know to be able to tell.
[00:27:55] You know we figured out a way to do that electronically when we're doing a good job of it ourselves with the internal electronic speaking given. With our conscience. You know it's it the either accusing us or defending us. Our conscience is either accusing us or defending us.
[00:28:16] And so you know the longer you keep putting something off to change or you know deciding you need to take a different different route and turn around and go from this point.
[00:28:28] And then you're going to be the harder is going to be to do it because you're going to get so locked into that. And then you're going to just be accused by your conscience your entire life.
[00:28:38] I've met those those certain people were nobody trust them and you know save the grace of God they wouldn't you know being able to come back from that. And I met some when people that have come back from terrible moments about holism.
[00:28:52] And their lives were there's no way they would have come from that and then you see the ones who are still stuck in that or have accepted their fate in life. In the homeless and the people that are addicted on the streets.
[00:29:05] That's the that's the other path that you can go down so there's redemption and you know a combination but it's us they condemn ourselves.
[00:29:14] That's not even condemning us we we our conscience is that powerful and God just like you're going to you're going to make yourself suffer like your thoughts.
[00:29:24] You have an argument with somebody you're not going to like this deals so many hours from your day at a time when you have then you then say you cut some.
[00:29:33] You know it cuts somebody off a traffic or you know whatever you have something like that go down your mind doesn't just ignore unless your conscience is this seared like we said before. It's going to it's going to reminit either consciously or sometimes.
[00:29:47] And you know manifest yourself physically in your body and you'll just be in all of time. Very real things that are documented in medical study that this this your spirit affects your body. I mean is that when we're talking about here actually being.
[00:30:06] Living the way God wants us to and not suffering in life as we're talking about suffering or prosper here. And this is God was God's always always been telling his people and everyone thirteenth word is I give to you today life and death choose choose one choose life.
[00:30:26] I'm telling you to choose life so even takes the against work out of it for it season is I'm asking you to choose life you know because this I have a claim for your life.
[00:30:39] And I kind of choose that kind of shoots so hold in the people who think God doesn't love man.
[00:30:45] He's actually wishing that we would choose life and choose him over death as a terrible separation from him it's just as a night for someone to believe God is unconcerned at the least. And first Timothy chapter one verse 19 this is Paul writing to Timothy his.
[00:31:13] One of his students I think are you can say that he's teaching. In the church he's saying keeping the faith or keeping faith in a good conscience which some of rejected himself or ship wreck in regard to their faith.
[00:31:32] Saying that your faith has a direct correlation to your conscience being good and keeping a conscious good so if you have faith in struggling your consciousness is probably struggling too and not in a good way.
[00:31:50] There's a way that your conscience will help you but it also destroy you inside if you don't treat it with respect and give it to regard in his. You know in the same ship right in their faith that means your turn do not go anywhere.
[00:32:08] It has not did the boat just lost wind in the sails you know it's not well I don't ourselves all day long.
[00:32:16] Okay, I just need to win a pick up as all I need is a win a pick up now you're running your run along a bank your shipwrecked like the pirates.
[00:32:25] You know find their shipwrecked you're not the boat is in off of one hour you're not even going to be able to continue.
[00:32:34] And then is going to have to come save you from that and you're just hoping that you're not sinking and drowning that day that you're actually hung up enough for your boat stays on the rocks.
[00:32:47] But just yes you know just lying to ourselves and saying this is not the situation and then this is not it. We're all doing that at times and then doing it to one another also not being even conscious of it.
[00:33:03] When we're leading each other down these paths of. You know the white path I guess you could say. And the book of acts chapter 23 verse one says Paul looking intently an accounts will say it.
[00:33:24] Brethren I have lived my life with a perfectly good conscience before God up to this day. How many of us can say that. He apparently could say that because he did say that. And I think about his example.
[00:33:43] In context where he you know was the top rabbi and to succeed the top rabbi he was next in line. And in Israel so he was super religiously studied on the Old Testament and Jewish scriptures and whether all Jewish scriptures but the Old Testament from the Jews.
[00:34:07] He was so learning that he became zealous for God over the Christian movement that started up and he was killing Christians and he went on doing that. And like I said in the verse above I think this was him even saying he's talking about himself when he says.
[00:34:24] No this is Jesus talking about that he's saying you know people will think they're paying homage to God by killing you. So that was happening directly after Jesus was resurrected. He that's a prophecy and itself right there or you know Paul overcoming that period of his life.
[00:34:43] But he's saying I kept a law you know my conscience is good up to this day and how can that be is because he knows Jesus.
[00:34:53] He knows the one who can forgive all sin and he said he was the chief of sinners and he's saying my conscience is good. That's that's the biggest lie that we tell ourselves there is you can't have a good you can't you know have a clear conscience.
[00:35:13] Or you know why am I trying to say here. You know you can't have sin in your life and done so much wrong and still have a good conscience that's the other way.
[00:35:23] We really need to stand out in the church and when we talk to the world also is the thing about the widening the narrow path is it takes so much to get to that narrow path that you it's not worth it.
[00:35:36] And it's just not it's an optical illusion somebody told you you had to go back and get on the forked road to go back this way. No, you don't have to turn around and backtrack yourself.
[00:35:47] You know but you can you can have lived a life of sin where you know he was killing God's people and still have a good conscience after that fact how is that possible.
[00:35:58] And that's the question I think we all ask ourselves every single day when we can't correlate forgiveness and redemption we just we just shut down.
[00:36:08] I think we don't want to think about it we put the blinders on and we just say all I know is I know Jesus and I'm saying it's like wow that's not something to worry about I wouldn't boast about that.
[00:36:19] I keep that to yourself because if that's all you know that's all you know that's something to be part of.
[00:36:25] And nobody's gonna respect that either they don't know Jesus they don't know your scripture or your God so if you think you're going to save someone by just telling them. You know say this prayer and except Jesus is your Lord and Savior that's totally wrong.
[00:36:40] That's totally a doctrine of the demons honestly where you are selling the gospel so short to just telling them they have to do something without giving them the reason that they should want to do that thing.
[00:36:54] Because I don't know how many people become believers and Christians and just do it because they feel like they're getting fire insurance from hell. And they turn around one day and wonder what to heck happen and they're leaving the church because they can't.
[00:37:08] They can't reconcile the life that they were still living with the teachings that are coming down the pike and actually learning who God really is because eventually the Holy Spirit will convey to you to the point of either getting on or jumping off.
[00:37:23] And then you have the loop or people who are just they're hanging on the bottom of the ship just like I'm going to let the ship carry me to the end.
[00:37:33] You know but the way is death it's just a head to ship right it's headed to you know be run up run upon island there. And first Timothy also chapter three verse nine the holding gem and mystery of the faith when the clear consciousness.
[00:37:53] Another thing is talking about your faith in your conscience being one and the same. And it's the mystery of the faith that you have a clear conscience honestly.
[00:38:06] Like I said you know how can you have books on a good faith and clear conscience and yet also have been you know. So unclean before God and still we still say we're actively like we're actively in our human flesh and nature doing those things.
[00:38:25] Inadely consciously or unconsciously and so if you're not even thinking about it on a day to day basis I think you're totally off track.
[00:38:34] If you're not conscious of those things you're ignorant to your own reality and that's why we need each other to point things out and not only.
[00:38:47] And this is the other thing too you need to be willing to point things out for others but also when somebody points things out to you if you're surely praying for a guidance in someone actually guides you are you strong enough to swallow your pride enough to actually listen to them and.
[00:39:04] You know make that change as that's the two things that most none of us are doing like we don't tell anybody else what we will be been told a teller to help them.
[00:39:16] And then when somebody tells us something just make the help us also we get offended and we totally write that person off is how how can they even tell me that or ask me that who you know where did they get off and.
[00:39:30] I think that's something we're all caught in it times in our life for currently is just and that's where the deception is you think.
[00:39:38] You're actually doing right but you're totally lost your traversing between these places of holiness and ungoddingness and you're never you just stay in the wilderness and you're totally lost and we need we need to save your actually leaders. You know to victory to actually.
[00:39:58] You know have a right just like if and shouldn't we want that. So because some people will be that we just be honest they don't really care about that they just want to live for themselves and this selfish life that they've lived.
[00:40:09] The fruit of that life is dead is it's it's decayed. And it's evident throughout the history of time mankind.
[00:40:18] You know somebody said this once where you've never been able to do what you want to do and get where you want to be in life no one since the history of time as it has been able to do what they want and yet get to outcome that they also want from that.
[00:40:34] Because our nature is at odds with that success in life. Because if I did what I wanted to it would be many things other than what I'm doing today.
[00:40:46] But I wouldn't ever achieve the place I want to be in my spiritual life or with God if I didn't do what I don't want to do most of the time and that's most of life.
[00:40:57] Most of life is doing things that you don't want to do and so why is this any different. This is like the pinnacle of that where your conscience to address your conscience is like the most.
[00:41:09] Hard thing that anyone wants to try to undertake. So it's like the further something backward and anything else in life I think. If people just decided that's where that goes now is there because it's too painful as too much work.
[00:41:25] But like I said before Jesus said it's not hard. If you take my yoga on you, you know my yoga is easy. Like a yoga for an oxen it's easy I'm pulling most of the weight. You won't even feel it on your shoulder, honestly.
[00:41:43] You don't have my burden is light saying that he takes the burden that comes with knowing him is very light. And boy when it talks about the weight of the world on your shoulders.
[00:41:56] You don't want him to lift that off of you because everyone feels it. Everyone feels it's our own damn nation that we're running from aside from the one who can ultimately save us from it.
[00:42:10] We try to find anything but God in life to fulfill that desire to feel right. Looking for happiness in the same place we consistently lose it and then wondering what's what happened.
[00:42:30] The definition of insanity doing the same thing over and over again expecting a different result from those things.
[00:42:37] And it's like doing exactly what you want in life and then wondering why you didn't get where you want to be because the things that you want to do weren't conducive to that you sowed bad energy into the world with
[00:42:50] the things your flesh wanted and you didn't look to I think the answer is looking to God and actually asking when his will is for a wise and that's where you start you can start with him.
[00:43:03] Anything else is just a waste of time until you get to that point of knowing God you're wasting your time trying to fill in these little blanks and life.
[00:43:14] I think most people have this ideology of looking for a home run in life like they're going to hit one out of the park and you know they're going to win they're going to be able to score when people that are actually successful in life.
[00:43:33] Religious or not religious people they all know this that there is honestly they're not looking for that grand slam like someone going to win the lottery that day and be said. That's the exception to the rule it's not the rule itself you know that's very rare.
[00:43:49] Very very rare and so they know if I hit a base hit to first base and then I hit another base hit base hit a one more base hit somebody scored now.
[00:44:00] You know you just hit base hit after base hit and you stack these wins every day and it goes with one with your faith to it's like. You're looking for some big.
[00:44:11] A moment with God or something is going to change your your life and that moment it's just not how he works he wants you to take these steps.
[00:44:21] One at a time and he's going to show us and that's the only way we're going to learn and grow and.
[00:44:29] Make something out of this life if everything was handed to us we wouldn't there be no meaning to any of it as to be our own actions or in actions that define our destiny. And this is a guide for it.
[00:44:47] So where we where we to do about this. This first part I think I talked about. The problem we're had with our conscience and why it's important. Where are you doing about it? What can you do for it?
[00:45:03] Because the devil can use your conscience against you and I think everybody can explain that in different ways and actually agree with that state that.
[00:45:14] You have terrible thoughts in your head or you have nightmares or dreams and you can't explain the things that come into your mind because you didn't put that there.
[00:45:22] But there's some evil thought that comes in there and it's just gotten then it's gone again and you're just like, oh no way. What and this is speaking from experience someone who is a believer and things they have the Holy Spirit I'm still experiencing those things not.
[00:45:41] You know, we're not special. Nobody's exempt from this. This attack or on slot of spiritual worship going on that we can't see in the world. The godly people are people without God are still subjected to the same reality they were living here.
[00:45:59] Even if you can't see it doesn't mean it's not real. Reality is reality and. You know, it's not fantasy if you wanted to be. It doesn't matter which you want. It doesn't matter what you think about God he's still God and he still is and always will be.
[00:46:20] In the book of Hebrews chapter 9 verse 14. It says how much more was the blood of Christ. Who threw the eternal spirit offered himself without blemish to God cleans your conscience from networks to serve the living God.
[00:46:37] Telling us the writing on the wall here, which is Christ sacrificed his life as a son of God and a blameless son of God.
[00:46:50] You know, never sinned the pure, you know, the pure lamb was sacrificed and the blood that was shed on that cross is efficient as God himself is sufficient to cover all our iniquity.
[00:47:05] The innocent life that the most innocent life was taken that day until this point we had animal sacrifices and the blood we covered. You know, blood with a tone for our sins with animal sacrifices.
[00:47:18] This is what the Jews did religiously and until this point they didn't have an answer to.
[00:47:25] The answer for this sin in their status with God but the guilt and the I guess I guess like your conscience wasn't clean at this point you still there were still something missing.
[00:47:38] And this is the final piece of the puzzle here that God was like here's the other side now you can be free from it.
[00:47:45] You don't have to be a slave to sacrificing animals to keep your status with me anymore either because the ultimate innocence has taken your place on the death block of sin.
[00:48:03] In chapter 10 of Hebrews verse 22 says let us draw a mirror with a sincere heart and full assurance of faith. Having a heart sprinkle clean from an evil conscience in our bodies washed pure washed with pure water.
[00:48:20] Saying we have full assurance in our faith if we if we've been cursed if our conscience has been cursed. From the evil that that plays you know our bodies washed pure water so your whole being is renewed.
[00:48:38] It's just he's talking about the sacrifice of Christ here he's talking about in the same chapter first chapter 10 of Hebrews. It's pretty amazing how all these things are just like boom boom boom boom.
[00:48:53] One after another to me this is me this is the three-dimensional status of the scriptures to me as he liked that pops out to me even when I'm looking things up it's crazy this whole experience will be like.
[00:49:09] I should have thought into my head and then it's actually the verse I'm looking at that day.
[00:49:15] I'm looking up at the moment I'm like I didn't even know that verse or not in that number and it's just like the next verse after that was exactly what I was thinking about like. I wonder how I found this verse and it was right after that one.
[00:49:27] I mean even like opening the bow and doing a blind read where you just say I'm the first place I open to him look at and then you read the paragraph your eyes went to first and just crazy revelation from that moment where you're like, you know my gosh.
[00:49:44] You were able to like intercept my because I took that action and said I wanted to know you knew well and I wanted to read your word today.
[00:49:55] Show me what you want me to know and you actually worked through me to find that exact first it was going to help me for that moment or that day or most of the time it's to help somebody else and share that with them because.
[00:50:07] More only as good as what we're putting out. You know you want to be the person that you you would love to follow the person you would love to.
[00:50:18] You know others would love to be I guess you say and so if you're not showing that and if you're only putting into yourself you're not putting into other people in life with self this action then. You're becoming stagnant within yourself.
[00:50:35] Is the cup analogy where you ask God to fill you with this whole experience and you just you never you never entered your cup from the time you were filled with all I spirit you never empty that into someone else so he can't put anymore into your cup.
[00:50:50] Actually, you know just overflows.
[00:50:54] So you have to actually have an empty cup for him to fill it again. It's just the way you see how it works. You have to actually empty yourself so you can be filled again and fear so see we've holding in and so many people are just like I'm good with the first glass report and then it just becomes you know the wine turns the vinegar flies come and and.
[00:51:15] That's getting it and it's just future it is it's undrigable at that point. Often hand-tanger there but just just the spirit really working through all these things that I think it is coming out when reading the scriptures. I'm going to talk about my men here.
[00:51:35] I'm going to wrap it up. I think this is the end of honestly, but I really enjoyed this so far and the book of John chapter 19 for 34. This is just going right into the the reason for his sacrifice.
[00:51:56] Honestly, John chapter 19 verse 34 but one of the soldiers pierced his side with the spear and immediately blood and water came flowing out. And this is the part in context where he's hanging out in the cross and.
[00:52:14] Normally, if it's taking too long for the people to die on the cross because ultimately you die from makes face the Asian from not being able to breathe.
[00:52:23] You're you're actually the way you're positioned with your arms out and your feet like this you have to push up on your feet we have nails in them which is tremendously painful and use your actual risk where the nails are into pull yourself up so that you can actually take a breath.
[00:52:39] And so you can imagine this is what this is just what you're doing for hours you just pushing yourself up.
[00:52:45] Take in the breath and then so painful and you've let yourself back down and then you're suffocating you suffocating push yourself back up take a breath you're suffocating you're suffocating.
[00:52:56] The most torturous death you can imagine and so if it was taking too long for them to that to basically drown or their lungs to. And so it's not breathing because they couldn't push themselves up anymore you're too exhausted to push yourself up that's the kicker.
[00:53:12] I think you can't push yourself up one more time and that's just the most insidious way to figure out that's way to kill someone in a torturous execution.
[00:53:22] But what they're on with soldiers would do would go buy him break the prisoners legs and the criminals legs the people over being crucified they break their legs so that they couldn't push themselves up anymore and just get it over with.
[00:53:37] It says that they broke the two the two thieves legs on the other side of Christ but when they came to Christ to do the same thing somebody was like he's dead already he died already and so.
[00:53:51] The person one of the soldiers took a spirit and I got imagine it was kind of like in the. You know these as they're sick you know they're trained butcher is honestly and I can imagine maybe it was something like oh man I wanted to break his legs.
[00:54:06] I can't believe and it was like in a rageful way it was just like I'm just down many ways but ultimately it was just to make sure he was dead so they stabbed them in the side and it says blood and water came flowing out.
[00:54:19] The significance behind this is you know water doesn't separate from your blood until after you die until your body goes into bring a more.
[00:54:34] So this shows that he was already dead he already died like they said and so the water had already started to separate from his blood and so blood and water came out separately and the symbolism of this for me is.
[00:54:49] Ultimately his blood paid the price for our sins and covered them covered our. Our dead that we oh towards this and that we the penalty was paid for but the water. I think it just symbolizes the cleansing of our conscience the cleansing of our guilt.
[00:55:13] And this is why ultimately he was the ultimate sacrifice it's like look not only is my blood appears form of blood being God myself dying for for all mankind.
[00:55:27] The water is symbolizing just a fresh washing of your guilt also you don't have to be ashamed of your sin so many people you know they asked for forgiveness but then they live and guilt and change from the things that they claim to have made for you from or.
[00:55:44] You know you didn't forgive yourself that's really what I'm coming down to is you know your conscience. And something you just have to treat very seriously because.
[00:55:57] They come down to people not loving themselves so if you can't love yourself you're not going to show love to anyone else and I think it says that somewhere is true on our words is just coming on my mind. You know for him.
[00:56:12] Just as you share this with me today for him who has been forgiven much loves much. But him who has been forgiven little loves little meeting. You know different in this is the key to you've been being able to let.
[00:56:29] So when people disregard that altogether in life and they never apologize for anything or they never seek forgiveness for anyone else. It's.
[00:56:41] It's just a it's just a lost comment for for you being able to show love to other people and love yourself at the same time and ultimately some people get to that point of loving themselves in a private way and they're good there that's all the that's all I need in life they just.
[00:56:55] They're not going to pass it on to other people and that in itself is simple. And the blood to cover and sanctify us in righteousness and the water washes away the guilt of sin. I think it's very simple guys.
[00:57:20] Last thing I'll say you know the conscience has to be led by the word of God alone. I was saying it to be in there's so many other places you could go with your attention.
[00:57:37] Looking for happiness in the same place you've always lost it and wondering why you can't find it. In this section. And it's apart from the word of God that people travel that path and they. Accept their life and you can see those people all around us every day.
[00:57:58] You can tell when someone is totally struggling. In life and that's a side from normal struggles that we all have but it's a constant paddle is the last thing I'll say you know. Something that you have to.
[00:58:15] You have to actually work for and if someone is to hear these things. You know, it's a whether you're wondering, you know, it's keeping your word to yourself but keeping your word to God also.
[00:58:28] If you make a noise to God don't make it hastily because he's going to hold you to that with so if they're not to make that oath to them to make one. If you're not going to follow it out and carry it out.
[00:58:40] But you know keeping your word to yourself every day if you say you're going to do something you do your best to get it done. At your own sacrifice honestly you know put yourself out to actually follow through with it.
[00:58:55] You know what you need to weigh up earlier you need to start exercising daily and actually putting some effort into that exercise because. You know, it doesn't something to your body will just release chemicals and it will do something to get your spirit right.
[00:59:11] It gets you in the right mode of thinking you know most people start off with this skewed perspective and you know your your life isn't messed up your perspective is and people need to understand that.
[00:59:24] You know the world is not as it is as I've heard someone say the world is as you are. It's all in your mind is the starting point that's why the battlefield or the battleground for your mind is like the main objective for Satan.
[00:59:40] If you can take your mind, he can take your soul and everything that comes with it because your mind is your decision maker and it's the seat of your emotions is or your heart is the seat of your emotion that's opposed but.
[00:59:54] You know if he can get that decision maker because when it says what we judge by the actions we take or do not take then he wins he will win.
[01:00:03] We're not stronger than the devil, you know he's not scared about somebody saying I you know read this much scripture right is I you know let this many people to the Lord if he can get you to leave some people away from God.
[01:00:21] Then that's all he's looking to do he did that was going to have in anyways you know. The good influence you had on people is going to be outweighed by the negative influence and you'll happen to just focus on the things you've done right in life meanwhile.
[01:00:36] You're also doing so many wrong things you can't even see them and I think that's where just praying for. You know that direction from God every day is something is important so we don't get lost but anyways as it guys.
[01:00:52] God I can share this message and I really wanted to do it so you know that's why I did you know if. You know but ultimately I think you know maybe maybe I'm being hollier than now to myself but.
[01:01:07] I feel like if I wasn't called to do this and share messages it's just podcast that I wouldn't be doing it. Because if I did what I wanted to I'd probably be playing music or working on that for the band and.
[01:01:23] I tell myself that because I need to know why I'm doing certain things and so I'm explaining to myself you know what. Why I take certain actions.
[01:01:33] So you know the fact that somebody's listening to this doesn't matter to me that's why I've already decided is what's good God wants me to do and that's all it needs to matter to me.
[01:01:46] And everything else can come with the flow but yeah I just know that's if that isn't the picture of God's. You know direction that I don't know what is an example of somebody.
[01:02:03] You know what do we not do this on their own power especially after certain things have happened the past couple days is you have a tendency to give up.
[01:02:12] And the fact that I have an is a testimony in itself to just stay strong and keep doing what you know God is called you to do. And this is my story this is my situation somebody else might have something else to do and.
[01:02:28] You start getting on it's going to be uncomfortable because if you do what you want is usually the comfortable things in life but you never get to where you want to be doing the things you want life.
[01:02:39] So just want to personally to take the next or effort and ask God to just show you the first step. I mean it's not rocket science is very simple it's the you know a word of God is is where you start so thank you guys.
[01:02:56] Everybody on Spotify the audio Facebook because in this video and. Talk to you guys later.
