[00:04:00] It's really something unique that I haven't seen since I started playing in a band of Placer playing music in the Christian middle scene back in 2008.

[00:04:11] So it's been a long time where you just don't see somebody this bold and, you know, I'm excited because, you know, right away when you meet the

[00:04:21] guy, you know, he exudes the fruit of the spirit, the fruit of the spirit is just hanging on his tree.

[00:04:30] He, you know, is not ashamed of anything and I think he's a real blessing, you know, just to just, you know, talk to and get the vibes that he sets out.

[00:04:42] It's really the only spirit I think that would, you know, kind of change some people's perspective.

[00:04:48] I think, you know, where the music scene might be going or if you're a Christian in the middle scene and things like this.

[00:04:56] We got to make sure that we're going to try it.

[00:06:30] Yeah, so I mean, I guess if you want to just start off just share who you are, what you're doing now, do where you're from.

[00:06:37] Share a little bit by your testimony if you'd like to.

[00:06:45] Yeah, yeah, so we are here in the book and YouTube right now.

[00:06:48] I love it. What's up Facebook YouTube? Thank you guys for, you know, I'm glad to be on here. I'm glad you are doing this podcast and.

[00:06:57] Yeah, dude. I'd love to share a little bit about me and who I am and let's go. So first off, I think we're having me on again and I love what y'all are doing.

[00:07:08] And I love y'all's heart for Christ. Me and it's amazing. God's got some big things and store for you guys.

[00:07:15] So me, I'll give you the kind of skinny version here, elevator pitch, but you know didn't finish high school didn't make it out of 11th grade, right?

[00:07:26] I'm so open this and all of that with family.

[00:07:32] Got a GED joined the military, the army, active duty.

[00:07:38] God allowed me to see godly families throughout the course of my life, right? That always kind of stuck in permeated my heart and went to Afghanistan several, you know, couple tours, few tours.

[00:07:51] Middle East and all of that. And through the midst of all of that, I learned that you just can't if you rely on the flesh you're going to rely out of the emotions and you're going to give.

[00:08:07] You're only going to be going after what the world tells you that you need to be going after. And I knew that there was so much more than that and that's when I met this amazing person an amazing creator and amazing Holy Spirit, the power of the Rua Kakades, this train rect me and just knock me on my knees right as low as I could go.

[00:08:37] And I was so honored, you know, and ever since that moment, man, when you repent, you turn around and you surrender and you give your life to God.

[00:08:45] It's a process of sanctification. God understands it though, and he loves you through it.

[00:08:54] But what I knew is I was not intentionally walking in sin no more.

[00:08:57] You know what I mean? Because I, I'm in love with the creator with the father. So dude, ever since I did that, the Lord has taken my life and done things that I mean only God can do.

[00:09:09] You know, and that's what he does. He takes five loaves of bread and two fish and feeds thousands and leaves you leftover, you know, leftovers his, he's in the business of his multiplication don't make no sense, you know, two times two equals four to the human mind right.

[00:09:28] And I'm a goal that flash, but two times two to the king the creator dude can mean millions, you know what I mean. So that's why I always tell people like I love it because

[00:09:41] Cool, we got all these elections coming up and we got all this stuff coming up, but dude, I'm vibing on God's account.

[00:09:50] You know what I mean? I'm just swiping on faith. I'm vibing on God's account.

[00:09:54] Yes, three dollars and 50 cents, but I'm still filling up my tank, you know, because I'm just following what wants and the course for my life and he says that in his word that like,

[00:10:05] Yeah, if you see right just inside of a pure heart and second Timothy then, you know, dude, I'm going to take care of you man.

[00:10:14] I ain't going to leave you as an orphan and leave you hanging out to dry like if you're truly following me, you really will end the dig deep and like not just look at the Bible as a history book but like be willing to go, you know, then, bro, the sky's the limit. So if you're listening, go, follow the whole thing and like go.

[00:10:33] That's what Jesus said, you know, is a y'all been around me for three and a half years and roughly give or take and like you guys are here with me, but like where I'm going, you can't go right now, right?

[00:10:47] Because the father as well is that, you know, none pairs but all have eternal life and there's work to do down here on earth. So I've showed you the power of God. I've showed you this manifest invisibly before you as a human being.

[00:11:02] I've walked through the same things because I'm just a fair and just God and and I am a fair Jesus is just fair. He just was the model for us to imitate and he just says, yeah, but I'm telling James and Jelsis and Luke and Blake, I'm telling you guys go and that's it and that's my life is like it's a life of of go but not running ahead of the Holy Spirit and what God's doing so that's my story, my testimony.

[00:11:31] And that's how God's opened up doors and it's like it's exciting. It's I call it a life of adventures with God, you know what I mean? It's adventures with God because he's just got few things that you know look we're talking, you know.

[00:11:47] But if I would be a little exciting adventure.

[00:11:50] Yeah, bro if I wouldn't have went though I wouldn't be talking to you right now who wouldn't even be.

[00:11:56] Yeah, you know so exactly yeah.

[00:12:02] Yeah.

[00:12:03] Where did you grow up?

[00:12:06] Me, I grew up in Florida.

[00:12:10] Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.

[00:12:10] The 352 baby 352.

[00:12:16] Anybody listening on here that's where I grew up at I love it. Love it there still got family there and now I currently reside in do wall County Jacksonville.

[00:12:28] Okay, yeah, yeah, I'm a Jaguars fan go Jaguars.

[00:12:34] Right on.

[00:12:35] Yeah, week one for sure.

[00:12:37] Yeah, you know not a finish out games but I'd be happy to go coach him.

[00:12:44] Don't run the ball seven times and don't lose everything, you know like it's like,

[00:12:51] You know anyways, I don't even want to get into the game or we'll start turning in the end.

[00:12:58] No, no, it is it's like life like ETN was running any fumble and they just lost everything about them.

[00:13:05] And it's like that's what we do in a pickle as believers.

[00:13:09] It's like, do we trust in the Holy Spirit or do we just start making the dumbest play calls I've ever seen and let's just run it and run it and and like lose it.

[00:13:19] You know what I mean, let's win the whole game better than lose it.

[00:13:23] Like so you know,

[00:13:25] Dude, that's what it reminded me of is like are we finishers? Are we going to be finishers? Are we going to fumble the ball?

[00:13:30] Right anyways.

[00:13:32] Yeah, yeah.

[00:13:34] Yeah, yeah.

[00:14:23] I did live out in Colorado for a little bit though.

[00:14:26] I did go to station at Fort Carson and have been able to watch a whole game on

[00:14:32] the Broncos field so cool stadium dude just that out to teach different man.

[00:14:41] Me and Luke, uh, just as lives in Colorado Springs and me and Luke went to high school there.

[00:14:48] Uh, and clear near for Carson.

[00:14:51] So it's really cool that we have that connection there.

[00:14:55] Love it bro.

[00:14:56] That was my first deployment out of there.

[00:14:58] Fourth ID man.

[00:15:15] Well, just just, uh, you know, how, you know, being a believer and then also having

[00:15:23] a passion for music and, you know, being able to, uh,

[00:15:31] to be able to, uh, be able to be able to, uh, be able to be able to, um,

[00:15:40] encourage, you know, the gospel being, uh, sent out, you know, and just

[00:15:46] Eclipian people, you know, how does that, you know, how do you, you know,

[00:15:52] deal with discouragement?

[00:15:53] How do you deal with like anything, you know,

[00:15:56] I'm sure you just bring it straight to God.

[00:15:58] But it's like I'm sure there's so many times where I've been

[00:16:01] you know, it just seems like this is a little too much or, you know, you're always

[00:16:05] questioning the doubt that doubt creeps in, you know, like, well, you know,

[00:16:10] is this really, this part of this is, is this what I want to be working on right now

[00:16:14] or whatever, you know, is this really work out lots of me to go.

[00:16:17] And I think, you know, somebody said this analogy to me one time

[00:16:21] that made a lot of sense when, you know, when you're first born again

[00:16:25] and you have that high from being born again and you know,

[00:16:28] the Holy Spirit has come into your body and you just don't want to live for

[00:16:34] the world anymore.

[00:16:35] It's almost like God's leading you by the hand, you know,

[00:16:38] you're like a little child and he's leading you and you're walking behind

[00:16:42] him.

[00:16:43] And then as we mature in our faith, you know, it's almost like we're,

[00:16:47] we're tugging you know, as kids get older, it's like we're tugging on

[00:16:49] God's and follow me and follow me and you're in front of him just like

[00:16:53] trying to drag him along.

[00:16:54] And, you know, and then eventually you can mature.

[00:16:58] Some people never get to this point but mature to the point where you're walking

[00:17:01] next to him and he's, he's giving you all the direction.

[00:17:06] He doesn't have to be in front of you like he did when you were younger

[00:17:09] in the faith, but everything he says you just do it.

[00:17:13] You know, you don't, you don't question it to the point of this belief

[00:17:18] or in action, you know, I think in action is where

[00:17:21] you know, we get off course is just in action or just deciding to take the wrong

[00:17:26] action out of, you know, like when Abraham, you know,

[00:17:33] had his male with a hanker, you know, he didn't trust God's promise

[00:17:36] that Sarah was going to conceive of baby and those type of things.

[00:17:40] You know, God brought good out of that sin, you know, and the last.

[00:17:45] But it's just those examples that I think really, you know,

[00:17:50] it's constantly like something I pray about and think about those

[00:17:55] concepts, you know, of just what it means to be a disciple.

[00:18:00] What it means to be a follower of Christ and, you know, the amount of

[00:18:04] conscious effort that it takes, you know, and the fact that your conscience,

[00:18:08] which I think is the Holy Spirit for believers, everybody has the conscience

[00:18:11] we were born with it.

[00:18:13] Your conscience will not lie to you.

[00:18:15] You know, you're going to feel like crap if you did something

[00:18:18] that she knew was an in alignment with what you want in life and what you're

[00:18:22] calling in.

[00:18:23] Even if you're not a Christ follower, your conscience is still not going to lie

[00:18:27] to you and say, hey, you know, you're drinking too much, you know, your body

[00:18:31] is not going to lie to you.

[00:18:32] God just, you know, created us this way.

[00:18:36] So, you know, if our conscience doesn't lie to us, which I think is the authentic

[00:18:40] voice of God, you know, why are we lying to ourselves and choosing

[00:18:44] the light of other people too and expect them to play Kate our first

[00:18:48] stuff too?

[00:18:49] You know, kind of honestly with the prophets for saying, or with the people

[00:18:53] which are not prophecy, they tell us to us, you know, tell us light,

[00:18:57] preach to us illusions because we don't want to, you know, we don't want to

[00:19:00] know the truth because we know that you speak for God.

[00:19:03] And it's all judgment if we don't change.

[00:19:06] We do want to keep living the way that we're living.

[00:19:08] You know, so just wanted to know how as a, as a, as a believer, you know,

[00:19:13] and take on all those responsibilities, you know, with great power

[00:19:17] because of great responsibility kind of thing.

[00:19:20] And, because I mean, you've already encouraged me in just knowing you're

[00:19:23] sure about time, I think, you know, you know, I think you really do display

[00:19:29] the fruit of the spirit and it grows on your tree.

[00:19:34] So, vibrantly and you share that fruit with others, you know, how many

[00:19:38] people just kind of like the gifts that guys given them, they don't pass it

[00:19:44] on like it was intended to be, you know, they hold onto it and they give it

[00:19:48] for themselves.

[00:19:50] And just I guess I'm going all over the place here.

[00:19:54] But I love that question.

[00:19:57] Dude, I always, and I think it's a process, right?

[00:20:01] That we go through with everything man.

[00:20:04] And like God is such an, he is such a patient and understanding God

[00:20:11] with us, you know.

[00:20:12] And I realize that.

[00:20:14] So I think it's, it's an every evolving process.

[00:20:19] One thing that's huge is your circle of people that you have in your

[00:20:23] corner, you know, like yes, I take it to God and stuff.

[00:20:30] But we also have to know that we're in the human element too.

[00:20:33] And we're living in this world.

[00:20:37] And in reality, like, you know, you stop bills that might get paid.

[00:20:40] You still have to get up and go to work.

[00:20:45] You are due to things that you have to do to do what God is calling

[00:20:49] you to do.

[00:20:50] So in the natural, like I think so many times, I'm going to give an example

[00:20:54] for here as down at the vault conference with another one of our

[00:21:00] artists.

[00:21:01] And I just love this analogy, kind of here.

[00:21:06] We're at this conference.

[00:21:07] We're down in West Palm Beach about a week ago.

[00:21:12] It's not, it's, there's not a lot of restaurants around.

[00:21:18] And there's 50 million people at this conference.

[00:21:21] So it's like, all right, we're going to go go eat.

[00:21:24] But everybody's here.

[00:21:25] So the weight's going to be an hour.

[00:21:27] But my mother that I was with, he says, you know, God's going to give us

[00:21:33] favor.

[00:21:33] God's going to give us supernatural favor.

[00:21:36] And stuff.

[00:21:36] So I believe that absolutely he'll give us supernatural favor,

[00:21:40] you know?

[00:21:40] And indeed, he already has like the width of way that he created us.

[00:21:45] So I'm just chilling, you know, and I'm like, all right, cool and, you know,

[00:21:49] patient.

[00:21:50] And my, my buddy says, well, he takes it upon himself to go up to

[00:21:57] and to enable where there's two empty seats.

[00:21:59] And he just goes and asks them, like, yo, can I sit here?

[00:22:03] And they go, yeah, absolutely.

[00:22:05] So we didn't have to wait an hour.

[00:22:07] We just went and sat down.

[00:22:10] But you get what I'm trying to say, like,

[00:22:12] sometimes we can over spiritualize so much.

[00:22:16] But like some of the supernatural is that right there,

[00:22:19] God gave us the ability to process and have common sense to know where we were

[00:22:24] about and just to go up and do a thing that God naturally created

[00:22:28] and designed us to do and say, yo, James and Luke, I see a table right here.

[00:22:33] Can I sit next to you?

[00:22:35] And it's like, yeah, that's God's favor, dude.

[00:22:37] You know, it's all over your life.

[00:22:39] It's all over our life is what I want to encourage anybody listening to.

[00:22:44] So we're, you're going to have to out.

[00:22:46] You're going to have those things creep in.

[00:22:48] But the question is, um, what is going to be our response?

[00:22:52] And I think you just mature with time.

[00:22:55] Do I think you may fall short?

[00:22:58] Yeah, does that mean that you don't love God?

[00:23:00] Because you didn't handle that right?

[00:23:02] And I think sometimes some of that can be over spiritualized and we just can't do that.

[00:23:09] Like meaning that, oh, you messed up.

[00:23:12] You got to, you can't have this podcast no more.

[00:23:15] You got to get on out of here.

[00:23:16] You can't be a part of this.

[00:23:18] You're going to have to be a part of this podcast.

[00:23:19] You know, you don't love God, you know, because I don't know, you know, because you got mad, you know?

[00:23:25] And so, you know, yes, you come to God and the Holy Spirit is going to guide you and give you that direction.

[00:23:32] But it all stems from our, um, secret place from Psalm 91 one.

[00:23:37] Those who dwell in the secret place, you know, the Lord is watching over, right?

[00:23:41] And then in the natural we have our accountability too, right?

[00:23:46] So I can call Brandon my buddy, he's not my buddy, he's my brother.

[00:23:52] And dude, we can talk to your things.

[00:23:54] Yo, I'm struggling right now.

[00:23:56] I am frustrated right, Niel.

[00:23:59] You've got to talk about that.

[00:24:01] I don't understand what's going on and you've got to process through it.

[00:24:05] And but again, make sure that you're equal to yo with who you're doing this way.

[00:24:10] You know, so in my corner when I look at all my friends and you guys too, you guys are like,

[00:24:15] people that are coming on the label, I don't care how fast you can wrap,

[00:24:21] how high you can sing, how crazy you can rock the fretboard,

[00:24:26] how crazy you are on the drums and double kick pedals and any of it.

[00:24:30] I'm, we're joining ministry together because God called us and Jesus said to go into the world and spread the gospel to all the nations.

[00:24:39] So we're going to do this a lot differently.

[00:24:41] And so you guys are my ministry, you guys, we're in ministry together.

[00:24:45] I am a ministry partner of you and I expect you guys to hold me accountable too.

[00:24:51] You know what I mean? And vice versa.

[00:24:53] You know, and I think the thing to remember is that everything is God's.

[00:24:58] So infiltrate records or whatever, you know, it's not mine.

[00:25:01] It's God's. I'm just storting it and I need to be a good steward.

[00:25:06] And Jesus came to serve and not to be served.

[00:25:09] So when we don't feel like we can, then you got to think about the cross and the blood

[00:25:14] because if Jesus could do that for us, there ain't no way I cannot that I can't control my attitude,

[00:25:22] my anger, my temper, my frustration, there ain't no way that I cannot go back to the word of God.

[00:25:29] There's no way in, in my perfect at it? No.

[00:25:33] But it's a process of sanctification, it's a continual process.

[00:25:39] And if you do trip up and slip who do you have for accountability?

[00:25:44] Who can you talk to? And then what is your reaction?

[00:25:49] How do you handle it then? Do you just give up? Do you just go back to the flesh?

[00:25:53] Do you just isolate? Right? Or do you say no, I'm going to go into a place of solitude?

[00:25:58] And I'm going to actually rest and abide with the Father and allow him to guide me and allow him to walk me through this, you know?

[00:26:05] And when you do, you've got to keep on fighting.

[00:26:08] And one thing I know in me is I'm ready to fight.

[00:26:13] You know what I mean? Like I'm ready to fight.

[00:26:16] So that's the whole point of infiltration was I remember being an Afghanistan stepping off of gun trucks

[00:26:22] and being a mission commander. And God was like, I prepared you for something so much bigger.

[00:26:28] I remember when the Holy Spirit entered into my life within.

[00:26:32] And it's like, we're in a spiritual, we've done enough as believers standing by.

[00:26:38] We need to quit on bicycles and being shocked when the Olympics come on and we've got drag queens, you know,

[00:26:49] imitating and impersonating the last supper.

[00:26:53] Well, the reason why we have that going on is because this has been going on, hello, we took God out of school.

[00:26:59] We took Vitals out of school. We did all of this stuff and we just weren't able orders.

[00:27:05] So you know, God is in me dude. That's why I started infiltrating.

[00:27:10] Because I want to show that no dude like we won't people that are on fire for God and that don't just look at the Bible as a history book,

[00:27:18] but are ready to go forth into the world and spread the gospel through screaming,

[00:27:26] through wrapping, through singing, through whatever it is, you know.

[00:27:30] But you still have believers out there that are like, you can't scream, James or you're going to hell.

[00:27:34] You know, you can't wrap into this or you're not a believer.

[00:27:39] You can't make a dollar or you're going to hell.

[00:27:42] We have Pharisees and Sadducees everywhere.

[00:27:46] The Holy Spirit reveals that to you, but God's Sam Bro, I'm tired of the body.

[00:27:52] Just go, just go like the church, the body, all these churches on our corners, on our street corners,

[00:28:00] prepare your body to go into their calling.

[00:28:02] And that's what we got to do. So that's how I remember it's like, let's serve bro.

[00:28:07] It's not about me. It's not about me and that's supposed to be to remember it's about the King.

[00:28:26] And I was created with the will that he implanted when I was knitted in my mother's room.

[00:28:34] And God, we were designed to work at a bank nine to five hours.

[00:28:38] I'm we're designed to be if we are in that bank to spread the gospel of Jesus.

[00:28:42] We have that commission on us. So our creation and purpose.

[00:28:46] This wasn't all God's intention some of these ways that we're living now.

[00:28:51] You know, what God is saying is like, dude, I want you to carry it forth.

[00:28:55] You guys are evangelists and ministers and pastors and singers and musician areas and missionaries.

[00:29:02] Like, y'all are here for a limited time.

[00:29:05] Your goal is to spread the gospel to the ends of the earth.

[00:29:07] And that's why music is so influential. That's why it's like, what?

[00:29:11] We get to spread this and do this.

[00:29:13] So I think if you're willing to go and take it off of us,

[00:29:20] we got to keep that there.

[00:29:22] And we got to keep people in our corner that don't want anything from us that have no agenda

[00:29:27] and that just want to bring us right back to the foot of the cross.

[00:29:34] Because the foot of the cross, if you sit there long and hard enough,

[00:29:38] and if you keep on praying, I'm telling you, his presence will permeate you.

[00:29:43] But you got to believe it, and you gotta believe it, and you gotta believe it,

[00:29:48] and you gotta receive it.

[00:30:18] me patient and wait for the Lord to act, which is something I didn't know to do.

[00:30:24] I mean, because my life, and it says don't be worried about those who prosper.

[00:30:29] Those who succeed in their evil plans.

[00:30:31] You know, don't give any worry or anger. It only leads to trouble.

[00:30:36] Those who trust in the Lord will possess the land. Do you believe?

[00:30:39] Those who trust in the Lord will possess the land.

[00:30:42] But the wicked will be driven out. Soon the wicked will disappear.

[00:30:45] You may look for them, but you won't find them.

[00:30:47] But the humble will possess the land and enjoy prosperity and peace.

[00:30:53] Right? And, yeah, grow. There you go, man.

[00:30:58] That's God's promises to all of.

[00:31:00] Yeah. I'm saying that's amazing. Yeah,

[00:31:04] one thing you were talking about was having people in your corner to kind of lift you up when you're feeling frustrated

[00:31:10] and I love that because with me and Luke were just talking yesterday about that.

[00:31:17] Just having, especially for men, especially for men, for men, for men.

[00:31:21] You know, we need other men to help lift us up when we're feeling falling down.

[00:31:26] And I think that's so important. And I was thinking about something I heard from one of my favorite pastors.

[00:31:33] He used this analogy of redwood trees in California.

[00:31:38] They don't blow over because their roots intertwine with each other and they hold on to each other.

[00:31:45] And I love that analogy of Christian men, you know, just having, you know, life thrown at us.

[00:31:54] And we have those men in our corner that lift us up when we feel like falling over again when things are coming our way.

[00:32:05] And the other thing I was thinking is, that same pastor he was in the music industry as well.

[00:32:11] And he was talking about how a lot of Christian musicians ended up walking away from the faith because they didn't have that accountability behind them.

[00:32:22] And those people that would lift them up when things got hard when, you know, in the early 2000s there was a ton of metal core bands that were, you know, so so call Christians.

[00:32:35] And a lot of them walked away from the faith, a lot of them are secular bands now.

[00:32:40] And one of the reasons that this pastor was talking about is because they didn't have people behind them keeping them accountable, keeping them moving forward.

[00:32:48] And so I just think that's so important, especially in the music industry with how we can be so deceived.

[00:32:55] The world throws everything at us.

[00:32:59] And yeah, I just really enjoyed how you brought that up because me and Luke had a, um, meeting with somebody in, in Nashville, right, that we're talking.

[00:33:11] I'm going to meet in November and what she told me, this was a similar level executive.

[00:33:19] And she said, one thing I love is the hands on she said, nobody goes so hands on and I mean you're talking in Nashville, right?

[00:33:28] Yeah, you're talking.

[00:33:30] That's all of our management.

[00:33:33] I mean, dude, that's the melting pot of the music in the country here.

[00:33:37] And I love me journalists, just its management and record levels in all of it.

[00:33:40] Not just country you know, everybody.

[00:33:44] And yeah you know it's.

[00:33:47] She just said, you know, the counterabilities not there and that's what Artist Development is all about as a believer is it's about spiritual.

[00:33:57] It's about growth.

[00:33:58] It's about taking the time off from one another because God caught us to do this.

[00:34:05] So that's yarn of honor to me, it's not a bother.

[00:34:08] Nothing is.

[00:34:08] It's just we all understand we all need to extend grace to one another.

[00:34:15] And we need to take one step at a time and wait on the Lord and like God will bring

[00:34:21] the right people in place, he's going to bring the right things in place.

[00:34:25] So I love that analogy, bro, the roots rooted together dude.

[00:34:30] That's what Jesus prayed man, John 1721 that we would be body of believers together.

[00:34:37] And that's what I want to promote man.

[00:34:39] You know?

[00:34:40] And I'm excited and you know, to hear that and to see that, it makes my heart happy

[00:34:48] because you know, I just got it so good to us man and he's so good to us.

[00:34:55] And I'm telling you life is going quick and God wants you to let us to make it impact.

[00:35:03] He wants you to let us hear tonight in our way.

[00:35:07] He's I bet I think he is just cheering us on right now.

[00:35:12] Like a crazy football game dude and you're running down that sideline and he's just

[00:35:16] like go to the end zone like what do I do it like keep going keep running and I just

[00:35:23] want to encourage people with that.

[00:35:25] Like God's got a plan for you man, don't let this world fool you because there's nothing

[00:35:30] this world can give you and I know it and if you think about it, everything is temporary.

[00:35:35] So what are you going to do?

[00:35:37] You know what?

[00:35:38] Okay, I felt I messed up.

[00:35:40] I didn't make that.

[00:35:43] You know, you you communicate, you go through it, you walk through it and you improve.

[00:35:48] And you can't get better if you don't fall.

[00:35:51] I expect to get better if you don't learn things.

[00:35:54] You know what I mean?

[00:35:55] Like how do you gosh, how you wouldn't even have faith if you didn't have test.

[00:36:01] Yeah, you'd have no faith dude.

[00:36:02] Just be like all right, cool.

[00:36:05] You know, we already question everything.

[00:36:08] Anyway, we're trying to figure out God every way and we just can't.

[00:36:11] You were like, now let's just send the next man above them, you know?

[00:36:16] And and and stuff.

[00:36:17] We sit in front of my computer and launch James in the space, you know, like and see what

[00:36:23] he discovered is what they're because you ever noticed that?

[00:36:28] Like we as humans, we're always trying to figure out and it's it we're never satisfied.

[00:36:33] Oh, no, it's got to be.

[00:36:35] Oh, now we're going to react to this because we can't figure it out.

[00:36:41] We're human.

[00:36:42] God's like, good if you clowns would just stop and if you would just listen to me

[00:36:49] and humble yourselves and stinkin' follow me, bro, I got you.

[00:36:56] You know what I mean?

[00:36:58] And we don't want to do it.

[00:37:00] Think about it.

[00:37:00] Yeah, just just as you were saying to, you were talking about, you know,

[00:37:05] Christians kind of standing on the sidelines and then being surprised when things like

[00:37:09] the Olympics happen, something like that.

[00:37:13] And the other thing is is I'm noticing as a lot of Christians are surprised when

[00:37:18] the world acts sinful and when the world is being the world.

[00:37:22] It's like man, read your Bible.

[00:37:24] Like we've seen this forever.

[00:37:27] This is how the world is.

[00:37:30] The world needs the gospel.

[00:37:32] We need to share the gospel, we need to share Jesus with people.

[00:37:35] And so it's so funny to me that it seems like a lot of Christians who aren't spending

[00:37:42] time in prayer with God or reading the Bible are so shocked when they cease the world

[00:37:47] doing crazy things and, you know, yeah, I just, I don't know where I was going with that,

[00:37:53] but I just think it's interesting to answer that.

[00:37:56] It's a truth, work, we're or gaining things that are just not in the Bible.

[00:38:01] We're doing things that are in the Bible and we're cherry picking what you love and feel

[00:38:06] good about and yeah, you've got so much stuff, you know?

[00:38:10] And I just pray that people catch the revelation that do God is God has written everything

[00:38:16] dude from Genesis to Revelation man and his spirit dude can pierce through bone and marrow,

[00:38:22] you know, and it sees everything and dude, you get that personal relationship with the Lord

[00:38:31] and the Holy Spirit alive dude just flow in through you and guiding you and you give that

[00:38:37] and you surrender. You know when you surrender you give everything. So if you allow him to go

[00:38:42] and march in front of you, let him drive the wheel, you know? And, and go then dude he's not

[00:38:49] you ain't ever been. Oh yeah, yeah, so you know I think me and James had this discussion one time

[00:38:58] where I was like, you know there's this saying, you know like you could put on a casher that says

[00:39:04] God is my co-pilot or something or they have a bumper sticker that says God is my co-pilot

[00:39:09] and me and James were like co-pilot. We shouldn't even be in the cockpit, you know he's the pilot

[00:39:17] and we're the passenger and so many people do you do like I think it you know maybe I'm being

[00:39:25] nitpicky but it can go to the extreme I think of thinking that they were just is valid

[00:39:32] leading our lives as you know what God has for us and then when those two things don't align

[00:39:39] we we we we crumble because how could this not be what God wanted for my life?

[00:39:47] It's you know it's just like because you didn't even ask or you know you weren't even focused on

[00:39:54] and but that just shows how when people are surprised about like the Olympics and things like that

[00:39:59] it just shows how this sees the world actually really is they're willing to get out-raised about

[00:40:04] that but they still don't say they still don't live a life serving God so it's just it's

[00:40:10] hypocritical it's like why are you even outraged when you know people are suffering and you

[00:40:15] don't help the poor the widow and the orphan you don't you don't you don't you don't

[00:40:20] I'm sure you're serviced you don't you know pretend to body of believers but she

[00:40:24] won't about and so that she can have some outrage and it's almost like you checked off your

[00:40:31] your spirituality for the year that you got mad about some sin that was just been going on this

[00:40:37] entire time they're just proud of it and that's more apparent you know it's out in the open

[00:40:41] now the devil just isn't even trying to hide anymore and it's a big test to say look how much

[00:40:46] of they can actually actually just let this occur and then then complaining about on the sidelines

[00:40:53] but they won't actually do anything to combat it you know here in the physical when there's a

[00:40:58] social work going on you know constantly that we can't see like what are some of your

[00:41:06] maybe dreams or goals or is there anything that you feel that you're hearing from God lately

[00:41:10] that you you want to share anything like that I love it dude um bro I did to continue to grow man

[00:41:19] it's all about serving no um and honestly dude dreams and goals man um dude my life is his

[00:41:30] you know what I mean so as far as dreams and goals man is to serve others um and to just do the

[00:41:37] fathers will you know what I mean like get me out the way take me on the way more and more and more

[00:41:45] and allow the gods will to be done like that and that's it like you know I think about that

[00:41:52] with Jesus like learned you know like God may your will be done you know like not my will but

[00:41:58] your will and that's my dream in my goal is that I'm obedient to the fathers will

[00:42:05] I said yeah as I know of a obedient to the fathers will then I'm going to be an alignment with the

[00:42:10] fathers will and if I'm in alignment then that's what I was created for you know what I mean and I believe

[00:42:17] that so that's where I'm at you know and the more I can take me out of the equation of things

[00:42:25] is the better husband I can be is the better friend I can be to you guys the better brother and

[00:42:30] Christ and um I'm just you know just I'm just so I'm just so thankful to God for his grace

[00:42:40] over my life and allowing just his spirit to pour down over us you know and and just the gift of

[00:42:49] Jesus me and like the Son and just Jesus is choice all of us were just oh my goodness man that

[00:42:56] worth it you know it's it's everything and you know it's got a so good man and that's it man and

[00:43:08] the mission is the is God the mission is the team man you know it's just whatever your will is

[00:43:15] that's my dream bro like just to serve him man and to get up right before him and he just has

[00:43:21] all done good and faithful servant and and my dream is to be in heaven with y'all dude I'm

[00:43:27] down to go a re-streaming heaven let's go you know I want to be there right that's what I want to do man

[00:43:35] I I want to not just be here I want to be in heaven with people just rejoicing and looking at the

[00:43:42] clouds that we see did you know so in fact that you're making now even this podcast y'all saying yes

[00:43:50] we in here I believe right now somebody is listening to this that is being fed and it's all because you

[00:43:59] guys said yes because what's in 55 minutes out of our time because if you're listening your worth it

[00:44:07] and that's what it's about man you're you're saying yes God wants your yes God wants your go you know

[00:44:15] so that's the will bro it's all about him man yeah it's it's been like that with me loop just

[00:44:22] just saying yes to being obedient and a lot of things that God you know reveals to us they're small

[00:44:29] it started out like this this started out with okay how do we do a Bible study with with people

[00:44:34] and then we ended up you know trying to do that just a Bible study between me Luke and then we were like

[00:44:40] how do we get our band involved and then it turned into this podcast and so I think a lot of

[00:44:47] what we're doing here I find in Everland has just been a small yes God is God is really trying to see

[00:44:53] especially it looks like with with infiltrate God is really trying to see if we're going to be faithful

[00:44:57] with a little if we're going to stay faithful to a little so that we can be faithful to much

[00:45:04] and it just seems like it just keeps growing and growing and growing and I love I love your heart

[00:45:09] on that is just saying I just want to be obedient right now and I encourage any Christian listening

[00:45:15] that that's it like it just gives you this joy and peace that you that you know God is in control

[00:45:22] he's he's you're being obedient to what he's asked you to do and a lot of times it's something

[00:45:26] small and it just keeps growing and growing and growing into something bigger and I can't even believe

[00:45:31] where I can't even believe the podcast is still going and it's actually growing more and more so yeah

[00:45:40] it's amazing dude and it's gonna continue to because you're giving God your yes you know and

[00:45:45] and it's gonna continue to man and do God is doing a lot of amazing things man and he's going to

[00:45:51] do a lot of amazing things for you even some of the things that we talked about the other night like

[00:45:56] the cool thing is is y'all aren't alone you got a whole army of people um within this ministry

[00:46:07] that know what y'all need and know our needs praying you know and there's power and prayer man

[00:46:14] yes sir I love it yeah we're excited to be a part of it we're excited to be a part of it meeting new

[00:46:20] people growing this thing just being just we're excited to watch you guys just off and all that

[00:46:28] God's gonna do dude hardly know and every day dude it's exciting it's like all right Lord

[00:47:08] with how we we found you how we found infiltrate how we were able to connect like it's just been

[00:47:13] so incredible you know and so we're just I'm happy you know you can't wait and I can't wait

[00:48:19] of our music fans involved and we wanted to we just had this desire to teach or read the word

[00:48:25] and you know just this whole podcast has been just me and Luke just growing in our faith

[00:48:32] and we keep you know this podcast has been like we're not expert to this at this stuff you know

[00:48:36] we're trying to learn scripture just like everybody else you know so this podcast has been you know

[00:48:43] come join us you know ask questions like ask questions join us where we're trying to talk

[00:48:48] to get to know God better and Jesus better and scripture better and grow in our faith and so

[00:48:54] it's just kind of started as just let's stream this Bible study and then it and then

[00:49:00] we turned it into a podcast and yeah we're not really you know right now me and Luke

[00:49:05] we've talked about it we've just been like you know we're just going to keep doing this until god

[00:49:09] tells us to do something else I think uh it just want to be obedient to him each week each

[00:49:15] Friday night uh just just come on and pick a scripture pick a topic and we love bringing people

[00:49:21] on like yourself and we're just going to keep doing it until he says not to. I love it dude I love

[00:49:28] it I'm honored to be on here man you guys are legends Luke I'm excited now God help me

[00:49:45] out or what you know it's there's a lot of what's your next single it's probably either

[00:49:53] going to be one of our older songs re-recorded uh called Robapire Island which was like a

[00:50:01] fancy rate played at the end of the uh set and the mosque did went crazy and we ended our set with that

[00:50:07] song kudos to uh credit goes to just so re-heard just as sudden he was the guitar player just a

[00:50:14] bad guy by testimony here he was the guitar player and the original line up of musicians

[00:50:20] uh when this family started and that's a song that he wrote for us and now he's come back to play

[00:50:26] drums for us and just the way that these things have come out I need to just give a drip

[00:50:33] drive by testimony of you know that we stopped doing music we lasted a couple years stop doing

[00:50:38] it's been about 10 years and then James you know just had this fire in his heart to reach out to me

[00:50:46] where I still knew I still knew how to play the music and I never really gave up

[00:50:51] on the idea of the band and what it was and then you know a few short years of me and James just

[00:50:58] grinding and putting out some you know rough re-recordings of things with his vocals on it instead

[00:51:05] my brother who was the old vocalist and just you know praying for new members and people to come back

[00:51:11] like the most the most optimal solution for another member came right when just as spree

[00:51:19] shout to us and said hey uh I'd you know I'd like to see if I could you know join you guys

[00:51:26] and be a part of it again and he's like but here's the thing I want to play drums this time

[00:51:32] and we were just like oh yeah yeah what you know come let's get this get together and jam and

[00:51:38] just how you know down like loopy hood of like you know coming back together and re-nining and just

[00:51:45] to just to see God's confirmation on people's lives you see the annoying thing you know

[00:51:50] poured out on their gifts and then their gifts just you know our testimony to God's goodness

[00:51:58] and that he's doing a work in our lives and if God told anyone of us tomorrow you needed to do

[00:52:07] a complete 180 and 90 to go serve as a missionary over in this country or something that we would you know

[00:52:13] hopefully have the faith enough to do that but for the time being you know there's a passion for the music

[00:52:21] you know it just it just gets I think it's getting re you know kindled you know it's just

[00:52:27] the more that we do it and it's about just pressing forward to keep doing it so you know we see

[00:52:33] there the song is gonna either be real a powered island or we're thinking about re releasing

[00:52:41] what was the other one guys for example which one guys he's oh dang it down the high c

[00:52:46] we were gonna really bring that one back hard and you know I just came to the music you know

[00:52:56] side of things being like was the original guitar player and he had so much annoying thing

[00:53:01] with guitar writing for those original songs also you know what what he thinks about you know

[00:53:09] what it's excited about you know for for future releases and things like that you know just being

[00:53:14] hard at it's again just how crazy it is that we're actually at this point now 10 years later

[00:53:22] yeah I mean filed um 2012 we were playing shows and Denver and the springs and you know

[00:53:37] probably shouldn't have been at the time just because we the level of you know our band chemistry

[00:53:42] but not but we we we loved it and we were just going for it um and so that that was such a special time

[00:53:49] and so I just want to say that first but uh and then just add onto what you said Luke about

[00:53:56] kind of that like what you said the drive by testimony uh the only reason I

[00:54:04] reached out was James reached out to me first and um you know at the time I was going through a lot

[00:54:12] I didn't get back to him for it seems probably a year or longer yeah which uh anyways um

[00:54:22] yeah so music yeah so I'm really excited because we have um we have our our foreseeable future kind of

[00:54:34] short relative short term game plan is to re-record that the EP and we have a couple songs that we

[00:54:42] we never did record at the time that we're gonna also throw into the mix and then man from there

[00:54:47] just there's an open slate like I'm really excited like we have uh you know we can go anywhere with

[00:54:54] it and I'm excited to be a part of that both in the drums and you know maybe some capacity and

[00:55:02] in the guitar arena but certainly I'm very excited and um you know like we were talking about

[00:55:13] the other night Blake you know it's all about um honkering down right now and and keep doing

[00:55:19] the little things and get get those recordings going uh you know when we can and I'm excited for

[00:55:28] that to kind of revive and uh kind of spice some things up of the old stuff and just make it really

[00:55:43] never kind of I just don't think it came out the way we wanted it to so I'm excited to

[00:55:48] put that out and have it be you know something that's crisp and clean and something that

[00:55:55] I'm that we're all proud of and we'd like to share it and um and then from there it's you know it's

[00:56:11] I don't want to say which is not necessarily true but uh experience you know you know

[00:56:19] yeah yeah experiencing the world experiencing music growing in entaices and um

[00:56:27] well yeah I'm just I'm just really excited for the future yeah and I love that all three of us have been

[00:56:36] through some hell and back during this 10 year period so I really think that passion

[00:56:42] towards our music is gonna be even greater because of maybe what God has brought us out of

[00:56:49] during this time um you know I just are going both you guys and my story it's just been it's been

[00:56:55] a crazy crazy time but you know we're a testimony of how good God is and how amazing and

[00:57:03] how he can redeem even someone like me and yeah and it's exciting you like if you do look back at

[00:57:14] 10 years ago would you be ready for whatever moments God has for you now you know like again

[00:57:20] where you matured or that you know like five years ago I was at mature enough to handle certain

[00:57:25] things you know now you know and two weeks ago I've learned things I didn't know I had noted a

[00:57:32] you know and then always remember too I think a reason why I critching music and stuff get such a

[00:57:40] like a backlash is because we got to do things that excellence in quality you know God didn't

[00:57:49] make no mistake when you made us so it's like we can't be letting the world kick our butt

[00:57:54] it we got to stop that you know but people have this belief that we can't spend money or make

[00:58:00] money or do things because we're believers and all this stuff in like I think that we just

[00:58:05] have an invested info you know the things that the world's invested into and sometimes people in

[00:58:12] the world have more faith than the church I'm sorry but they do it's like they're like okay I'm

[00:58:18] just gonna start me a business you know and they're doing it on their own flesh and and succeed you

[00:58:22] you know and it's like how dare you scream how dare you do that here's just me a Christian you

[00:58:32] know and like I mean you hear it all the time like you can't do that in church you know you

[00:58:38] know I mean it's it's all over the place you know and everybody's so opinionated and stuff like

[00:58:46] that and I'm sorry but a lot of times it's made about our perspective rather than the

[00:58:52] church perspective and just sitting back and you know that's what Jesus dealt with between

[00:58:57] like Old Testament you know like dude who are you do you think you are what do you mean you can

[00:59:03] restore the temple in three days you know like they weren't getting what he was saying

[00:59:09] you didn't understand that they didn't catch that revelation they're like they're they're they're

[00:59:14] they're still so finite in their mind they're looking at the building Jesus is like I'm talking about

[00:59:22] so much more I'm talking about the resurrection dude the life the giving life the eternal

[00:59:28] love is what I'm talking about you are talking about a building what you know what I mean yeah

[00:59:34] let's say oh you can't do that you can't plug grain in a field on a Sunday how dare you

[00:59:39] he'll change you know like that that's it and it's like what you know what I mean but

[00:59:48] anyways you'll get where I'm going and it's like we got to do things in quality and godliness and

[00:59:54] excellency we got to have standards we've got to have boundaries we've got to we got to go man

[01:00:00] you know and people be like dang what is that oh and hey yeah this working through me man

[01:00:06] our the Holy Spirit it's supernatural that's what that sound is you know we got to think like that

[01:00:14] the mirror we can't be in a narrow box I can't stand that I don't like it dude because when

[01:01:09] to hear his his children you know praise I mean wants to hear that you need sound that we we bring

[01:01:15] to worship and I think that's why it's it's so beautiful that we can do things like

[01:01:21] god can yeah it's like yeah maybe the metal industry is taken over by satanic bands or whatever but

[01:01:27] I can redeem that god's redeemed that by you know we can we can scream and share the gospel

[01:01:33] it's been redeemed now so dude when you think about it like yeah exactly it's like yeah they

[01:01:40] they've taken it over because god's waiting on somebody to get up there and do it you know like it's like

[01:01:46] Jesus why are you with the tax collectors you know because I came for the sinners man the

[01:01:52] y'all are supposed to be good y'all are good your heart you know what's up like I'm here because

[01:02:00] you know Jesus is like dude I'm coming to hang with those that don't know god that that don't know the king

[01:02:05] I'm coming to make a different to be intentional you know I'm not coming to be like them I'm just coming

[01:03:29] yeah that may be demonic but what are you doing about it so how can we overcome them

[01:04:35] heart and God sees that in depth so that he sees everything dude so he's the judge and he makes

[01:04:56] I'm waiting on you he's worried about the what the world thinks about you I'm waiting on you

[01:05:00] and I feel like if somebody like finding an influence says yes to God he's gonna be like yes I'm gonna

[01:05:07] use you or you know we have the choices say no God we don't want to do that anymore

[01:05:12] I believe God's gonna find somebody else that will because that's how he is he's gonna find another

[01:05:18] man that's gonna be willing to say all right I'm gonna stand on biblical principles we're

[01:05:23] gonna share the gospel you know and there's like there's something that's driven me to just be like

[01:05:28] I want to beat we can be in Luke and just as we want to be that man that goes in and shares the gospel

[01:05:33] like send us God so and that's what he's waiting on he's waiting on your yes

[01:05:41] love that he's waiting he's going all right I'm just waiting I'm waiting on somebody to say yeah

[01:05:45] and then activate that you know and part of that supernatural is like any of the needs

[01:05:49] that you guys have as a band is asking find it out you know you run across people you just don't
