[00:02:29] Yeah. How you doing, mate?
[00:02:32] Doing good, man.
[00:02:33] Good.
[00:02:34] We're getting ready to do some promo pics tomorrow with our drummer, our new drummer.
[00:02:46] Old member of the band.
[00:02:48] But that'll be fun to do some pictures and then right after that we're going to get a practice in again.
[00:02:56] Definitely.
[00:02:57] Yeah. So a few announcements for our band.
[00:03:02] So tomorrow we're doing some photo shoots with a band photo shoot with a photographer named Anthony Earl out of Castle Rock, Colorado.
[00:03:12] So we're super excited to have him on.
[00:03:16] Have him team up with Finding Everland.
[00:03:19] Get us some good band pictures.
[00:03:22] So Anthony, we appreciate it, man. Thanks for doing that.
[00:03:25] For sure.
[00:03:28] Another announcement. So I think next week, hopefully, I think it'll be out next week, but we got interviewed on a podcast last week.
[00:03:39] That's why we were on the podcast last Friday.
[00:03:44] We had to cancel it because we were on another podcast.
[00:03:48] So we're just podcast bros, I guess.
[00:03:50] But that podcast is called Backstage Access.
[00:03:55] So they interviewed us, we talked about mine and Luke's testimony, how the band started.
[00:04:02] Talk a little bit about the gospel and things like that and things of what God is doing in the entertainment business and some of our goals as a band.
[00:04:15] So really good interview.
[00:04:19] I encourage you guys to go check it out and check out and shout out to that podcast, Backstage Access.
[00:04:28] They interview lots of different musicians, comedians, artists, things like that and talk about their message behind their art and their music.
[00:04:39] So really cool podcast, really cool dudes over there and we just appreciate them having us on and interviewing us.
[00:04:50] So look out for that next week.
[00:04:52] It's going to be really cool.
[00:04:54] We'll post it on our Facebook and things like that.
[00:04:58] Another round of testimonies we put on there.
[00:05:01] Yeah, I think changed.
[00:05:02] Yeah, we went a little deeper in our testimony.
[00:05:05] So it was really good.
[00:05:07] So you guys are going to really enjoy that I think and we're going to and you'll hear a lot about the band.
[00:05:12] So go check that out.
[00:05:15] Our third one, our third announcement this week is we are announcing that we're going to be actually moving the podcast to a radio station in Tampa, Florida.
[00:05:28] So this radio station reached out to us and decided that they wanted to have us have the Finding Everland podcast on their radio station.
[00:05:38] So we're super excited about that.
[00:05:41] Yeah, not moving it off of Facebook or the platform.
[00:05:45] Those are still be live episodes but then we're going to take the episode and stream it on theirs for an hour at nine o'clock.
[00:05:54] Tuesday nights.
[00:05:56] Yeah, so everything would be the same with the podcast and everything but if you're in the Tampa, Florida area, you'll be able to listen to us on 1490 W W P R is what the station is.
[00:06:14] So yeah, we're really excited about that opportunity and hopefully that will reach more people.
[00:06:21] That's the goal.
[00:06:22] So it will.
[00:06:24] Yeah, this was going to reach a lot of people and you know probably more so than you know the digital side of us screaming and kind of like we appreciate all the comments and the messages we get from everybody.
[00:06:37] It's really makes this makes a huge difference on you know how we operate and continue to operate with this podcast but this episode not being live for these for this audience is going to make give them a lot of a lot of time.
[00:06:52] A lot of efforts going to be on their part to actually reach out to us.
[00:06:55] So if they care about it enough to reach out to us then we know that care a lot.
[00:06:59] Yeah, it's not just kind of like an applied for everyone to just look at online and then you can click on anything you want to do there actually didn't have to do a lot of research to get involved in this for you know, Holy Spirit is really going to leave people to us.
[00:07:15] Yeah, absolutely.
[00:07:16] Cool. So yeah, a lot of good things happening with the podcast and with the band. And so our last announcement is if you are interested in donating to our ministry to the band to the podcast to us making more merch anything like that you can support us now.
[00:07:39] Right now. I'll put this on the screen if you're watching live, but you can scan this QR code.
[00:07:48] It'll take you to our cash app right now which is at finding Neverland band.
[00:07:52] If you want to support the podcast if you want to support, you know just a band in general, if you feel if you feel like God's calling you to help us out.
[00:08:01] We would love that.
[00:08:03] So thank you guys so much for any of the support that you want to do.
[00:08:07] Do towards us because we've got some things happening coming up and you know finances are are part of the deal.
[00:08:16] So, so if you want to support us right now on the screen is the QR code. You can scan that or you can just go in our cash app.
[00:08:24] Right now we're working on just an easy like web page that you can just safely go in and and donate to finding Neverland ministry as I guess what we're thinking.
[00:08:39] So thank you. Yeah, so thank you if you guys want to help out in any way possible.
[00:08:46] So all right.
[00:08:48] I think that's all the announcements.
[00:08:50] I think so. Yeah, it's a lot of stuff though.
[00:08:53] Yeah, good stuff. Good stuff happening.
[00:08:55] So we have that and then tonight our episode we are going to talk on the topic we're asking the question.
[00:09:06] What does it mean that God is holy, holy, holy?
[00:09:10] Or what does it mean that God is holy?
[00:09:12] I was kind of basing this off of in the Bible.
[00:09:16] We see the word holy is mentioned three times in the Bible, which if if you guys know in the Old Testament to emphasize something they would like to almost like bold a word they would say it twice and holy is the only word that is three times.
[00:09:37] So it's almost like the writers were wanting us to really have an emphasis on God is holy.
[00:09:46] So it's the only word that's three times.
[00:09:50] And I think the word is cadish in Hebrew cadish cadish cadish so yeah, so that's kind of the question will be will be sharing on the word holy appears.
[00:10:06] I think it appears twice once in Isaiah in the Old Testament.
[00:10:12] And then it appears again in revelations.
[00:10:15] So yeah, so just wanted to my thought process was I kind of wanted to share on the Old Testament vision of Isaiah and the New Testament vision of Apostle John in Revelation.
[00:10:32] So both visions are pretty are like really similar, right?
[00:10:40] Like both visions even though those two men lived like 800 years apart like come on now.
[00:10:46] Like this should be this should make the Bible even that more valid is that we have two visions of the throne room of God and they're both similar and both men talk about it or describe it in a similar way.
[00:11:03] You know how how weird is that that they that both times the phrase and the both times the phrase holy is spoken three times.
[00:11:11] They heard they heard that being spoken and they were it was being spoken by the angels that were flying around God's throne the seraphim which the seraphim say Holy Holy Holy three times they just they worship God day and night.
[00:11:29] So I just think that is the coolest thing ever is that 800 years apart these two men have the same description of God's throne.
[00:11:39] Right. So yeah, I can I can read a little bit to give context to it.
[00:11:48] Sure. I mean Isaiah. I don't know where in revelation or John is talking about the throne room or anything but it just says Isaiah six.
[00:11:59] I believe. Yeah, Isaiah chapter six starting at the beginning in the year King Uzziah in the king in the year of King Uzziah is death.
[00:12:12] I saw Adonis sitting on a high lofty throne the hem of his rope filled the temple seraphim stood over him each with six wings to for covering his face to for covering his feet and two for flying.
[00:12:26] They were crying out to each other more holy than the holiest holiness is Adonis Lord of hosts.
[00:12:36] The whole earth is filled with his glory.
[00:12:41] I guess in my in my does it in my translation it doesn't say Holy Holy Holy it just says more holy than the holiest holiness.
[00:12:49] Yeah, that's interesting.
[00:12:51] And this is like the Jewish face interpretation right here.
[00:12:57] But just just overall you know just the descriptors that he's having right now is his hem of the rope filled the temple.
[00:13:06] Yeah, and you know meaning in the temple is huge.
[00:13:11] If you look at the temple mountain today just think of that mountain that they have with the prayer wall that we have in Israel over there and the temple was just as big as that square footage wise and then you think of the top of the temple but
[00:13:27] And I think that's what they're talking about here also is because God told them to build the temple for his glory and so he can reside with men.
[00:13:37] So in real in all reality the temple I can only you know there's a throne room in heaven for God but it says his robe filled the temple meaning his robe went all the way down from heaven and filled the temple completely also.
[00:13:53] And the contents behind that too is you know kings when they would conquer another nation and we cut off a piece of the other leader that they conquered they would cut off a piece of their robe and sew it onto their robe.
[00:14:06] So you think about God he's the conquering God you know just there's always one battles that he sought and yeah it was like if a king had a long robe it was because he conquered a lot of other kings and this is the same thing.
[00:14:23] That God's robe is just like you know as just fills the whole entire temple because that just shows that our God conquers everything.
[00:14:33] That's I love that and then I mean the seraphim when it talks about two wings covering his face to for covering his feet and two for flying.
[00:14:42] I think there's a lot of symbolism behind this where God is so holy that they have to cover their face and their eyes when they're in his presence.
[00:14:52] They don't you know remove themselves from his presence they're actually in his presence on purpose so they but they cover their eyes with two wings and then they cover their feet with two wings, meaning like you know covering like another area where it's like disrespectful
[00:15:09] like covering the feet the things that I used to walk around with and they're dirty and just it's not worthy for the sight of God you know cover my feet.
[00:15:20] And then the two other wings are for flying meaning to transport themselves so this is like a symbol of they use the only two wings they have to fly while the other two are meant for other you know consecrations almost like when you put your hands together to pray.
[00:15:36] You know I don't know where this this tradition came from but it's something like that and the seraphim is showing this respect for God and saying this is how holy he is and if I have nothing else to believe about the creatures that we talk about though where the seraphim are really scary hideous creatures with different faces on four sides and I think I think probably in revelation that's what John talked about also.
[00:16:06] And it's just very similar and very distinct that this is the same throne room.
[00:16:12] Yeah, that God is giving him a message and Isaiah was pulled up to this room also so that God could commission him to be a prophet for the people.
[00:16:22] I was thinking you know these seraphim angels worship him day and night and give him reverence by covering up their their eyes and their feet.
[00:16:35] And those angels are pure and holy now right so it's almost like how much should we treat God right or how much should we see God anymore in a holy way as if these angels who are now you know in heaven are holy they are worshiping him day and night.
[00:16:56] It's just an example I think of what we as people should be doing also.
[00:17:04] It's almost like the angel compared to God's holiness they are they're unholy.
[00:17:10] Yeah, they recognize that and they do what is right in his sight and so if the angels themselves know that they are not perfect like he is perfect.
[00:17:23] And there are scriptures in the Bible that talk about us judging the angels as humans that he would sit before us angels that disobeyed like the fallen angels and we would be the judges for those angels.
[00:17:37] That tells you something right there he's saying I want you to be as holy as I am you know Jesus said Father you know let them become as holy as I am so they can experience the same glory that you have given me.
[00:17:50] And I see all of that and you need to be prepared to judge the fallen angels.
[00:17:56] So the angels are beneath us God created us as the apple of his eye and you see all these angels that you know their mission in life is to serve God and to serve us and that's all they were created to do.
[00:18:11] And so they are subservient to us and always.
[00:18:16] And I think that's a lot of resentment we're going to get from the devil and other fallen angels is that God, they cannot understand why God would come down and send his son to die for creatures like us who flipped our nose at him and actually were the ones that killed him.
[00:18:34] You know, just cannot.
[00:18:36] They cannot believe that he has enough mercy and grace to overlook those things and we've always just constantly cracked right in the face.
[00:18:45] You know before Jesus and afterwards.
[00:18:48] And so that's one thing that devil is like at least I got that I'm going to really push it home that there's sinners and they can't be redeemed because you know he uses God to try to get us out of whack.
[00:19:00] And it's like wow how manipulative and how cynically prideful is he that he's going to use the Almighty to try to guilt us into things that God himself told us come.
[00:19:12] Let's talk about this now when he was telling through Isaiah he was telling them Israelites let's let's reason together you know let's.
[00:19:20] You know though your sins are scarlet red they will be wide as snow if you just confess them and you turn from your ways.
[00:19:28] You would be my people and I will be your God he was just telling him flat out hey let's settle this now you know because you're in enmity with me and you never know whether or not you're right with me and through Isaiah you know but how many people do you think took him up on it.
[00:19:44] The prophets were really really despised for not telling people what they wanted to hear.
[00:19:51] Yeah that's the funny thing too I noticed with with most Bibles I don't.
[00:19:57] Does yours have like titles above the chapters.
[00:20:00] Not quite.
[00:20:02] Okay so this one I'm using I think it's a new King James.
[00:20:05] Yeah but I was hearing my Montgomery talk about this is on Isaiah chapter 6 the title says Isaiah is called to be a prophet.
[00:20:15] Yeah and the funny thing is is he's already been prophesying for five chapters.
[00:20:20] Yes so it's funny that the Bible thinks that like or like yeah I don't know if it's I wouldn't I don't know if it's wrong per se but it's definitely funny because it's like he had already been prophesying so.
[00:20:34] Yeah but I guess he just didn't know until he got into the presence of God that everything changed or maybe he recognized his sinfulness and was able to recognize what God was doing with him.
[00:20:48] I think so.
[00:20:50] I don't know I'm not sure what what do you think about that but I think it's interesting that the title says that after he's already been a prophet for like however long.
[00:20:57] Right I think because I listened to the same sermon with Maddie and whatnot.
[00:21:02] He had been prophesying because he knew because he was a godly man and he knew he was hearing things from God in the Holy Spirit but up until this point where it says he's commissioned as a prophet is because up until this point.
[00:21:16] He didn't have the anointing that comes with God actually pointing him out and saying look and then when he gets in front of him he says you know the doorpost shook the sound of their shouting and the house was shaking.
[00:21:31] The house was filled with smoke. That's scary.
[00:21:34] Yeah.
[00:21:36] Then I said woe to me. I too am doomed because verse five.
[00:21:41] Yes verse five.
[00:21:43] I'm doomed because I am man with unclean lips who live living among a people with unclean lips have seen with my own eyes the king Lord of hosts and so he's not a man of unclean lips.
[00:22:01] But his heart is telling him this is how sinful you are in comparison to God and then the next few verses that says one of the seraphim flew to me with a glowing colon in his hand which he had taken with tongs from the altar.
[00:22:19] He touched my mouth with it and said here this is touch your lips your iniquity is gone your sin is atoned for.
[00:22:26] And then God says whom should I send who will go for us.
[00:22:32] And he says I answered I'm here send me he said go and tell the people this to the people.
[00:22:39] So it's like he needed to know that God was behind him doing these things because until that point he probably felt like okay you know I'm just I'm just doing this for myself and God was like no you're going to do this for me.
[00:22:53] Yeah, you know and he was able to get the scope of how how how holy how sovereign how great God is who we were speaking for.
[00:23:05] He was a devout Jew.
[00:23:07] I mean yeah how many people like that are like us that like you know are you know working at churches and are doing you know what they think they're called to do but they haven't really felt the presence of God yet.
[00:23:21] And so I think that's that's something that changed in me was when I did a three day fast I was able to feel God's presence in that moment and it changed me forever.
[00:23:33] Like I feel like it's changed me his presence changed me so I think that's something that we should all be pursuing is is you know it's like you know God I'm doing I'm doing work in your name but I.
[00:23:50] I'm desperate to feel your presence and I think I think Maddie kind of talked about that as a lot of people in ministry get so burnt out but it's because they've never felt they've never actually felt God's presence before.
[00:24:02] And so right I think if you're feeling you're feeling really if you're struggling if you're feeling overwhelmed by ministry and if you want to quit even I would say you know just keep pursuing the Lord and feeling his presence because it's incredible.
[00:24:17] I think that's the problem with a lot of people is they and I struggle with it from time to time where it's like I don't feel God's presence.
[00:24:26] I don't feel like he's listening to my prayers and I have to check myself and just say tell myself this is not this is not from God this is not your thoughts are not from God and the enemy is trying to get you to quit get you to stop because it's not working for you and you don't feel the presence but is seek the kingdom of God first and all these people who are in the same place.
[00:24:47] And these things will be added to you like you said.
[00:24:50] Yeah, and just look you have to go to scripture and just look at all the things that Jesus talked about how much he loved his disciples and how much he loved us in retrospect.
[00:25:03] And just, I don't know, be on your knees.
[00:25:07] Yeah, most of the time, you know, spend private time and I promise you spend private time with God he will show up.
[00:25:15] Even if even if it's not right away.
[00:25:17] Yeah, because it's those times that he has shown up for me.
[00:25:20] Yeah, and not always been grand slam moments of miracles and things like that.
[00:25:25] But it's actually the salty of the specificness that he's done for me in that moment.
[00:25:30] That really puts me in awe of how much he's paying attention to my thoughts and what I'm going through.
[00:25:38] And he's actually able to communicate with me like that and just say, you know that thing you were thinking about today.
[00:25:44] And it's just like bam.
[00:25:46] And I know a lot of people have experienced that believers and non believers and they would call it coincidence and things like that.
[00:25:52] But when you travel in these realms of the spirit and you actually engage in conversation with God, you can decipher a lot better.
[00:26:05] It's just like anything it takes practice and God wants us to work for these things.
[00:26:11] It's like if he just gave us everything that we wanted, we would never talk to him again.
[00:26:15] Yeah.
[00:26:17] The bottom line is what I think about it.
[00:26:20] And that's what the devil wanted us to believe was as soon as you eat this fruit, you're good.
[00:26:24] You don't even need to talk to God.
[00:26:26] You're going to be a God yourself.
[00:26:28] Don't even bother with him anymore.
[00:26:31] I'm telling you, you're not going to die if you eat it.
[00:26:34] It's very true and normalized too, I think.
[00:26:37] Good stuff.
[00:26:38] So I wanted to also, so I'm kind of we're kind of cross cross cross referencing the old in the New Testament.
[00:26:48] And so I kind of wanted I wanted to share on John's vision, apostle John's vision in Revelation.
[00:26:54] So if you guys want to switch over to Revelation chapter four.
[00:27:00] So remember Isaiah saw these things as well.
[00:27:05] And this is about 700 years before John had his vision.
[00:27:09] And man, it's so wild how similar they are.
[00:27:14] Yeah.
[00:27:16] So Revelation chapter four.
[00:27:20] I'll just read chapter four and then I think through to verse eight.
[00:27:26] All right.
[00:27:27] So it says.
[00:27:32] So John's having a vision of the throne room of heaven and says, after these things I looked and behold a door standing open in heaven.
[00:27:39] And the first voice which I heard was like a trumpet speaking with me saying come up here and I will show you things which must take place after this.
[00:27:48] Immediately I was in the spirit and behold a throne set in heaven and one sat on the throne.
[00:27:54] And he who sat there was like a Jasper and a sardius stone in appearance.
[00:28:00] And there was a rainbow around the throne in appearance like an emerald around the throne were 24 thrones and on the thrones I saw 24 elders sitting clothed in white robes and they had crowns of gold on their heads.
[00:28:13] And from the throne proceeded lightning, thunderings and voices.
[00:28:18] Seven lamps of fire were burning which before the throne, which are the seven spirits of God.
[00:28:24] Before the throne there was a sea of glass like crystal and in the midst of the throne and around the throne were four living creatures full of eyes in front and in back.
[00:28:34] The first living creature was like a lion.
[00:28:36] The second living creature like a calf.
[00:28:38] The third living creature had a face like a man and the fourth living creature was like a flying eagle.
[00:28:44] The four living creatures each having six wings were full of eyes around and within and they do not rest day or night saying Holy, Holy, Holy Lord God Almighty who was and is and is to come.
[00:28:57] And that's a direct cross reference from Isaiah chapter six verse two.
[00:29:02] Oh gosh.
[00:29:04] So these angels are saying the same thing that Isaiah heard them say.
[00:29:08] So John's vision is definitely more detailed for sure.
[00:29:11] Yeah.
[00:29:13] But it is interesting that they both saw living creatures and they're both and they both heard them say the same thing.
[00:29:20] So I think this just crushes the argument that the God of the Old Testament and the God of New Testament are like two different gods.
[00:29:29] I think we are seeing that this is the same God throughout the entire Bible and these angels are saying it.
[00:29:36] It says Holy, Holy, Holy Lord God Almighty who was and is and is to come.
[00:29:41] It's the same God.
[00:29:43] So I find that interesting.
[00:29:45] Yeah.
[00:29:47] I mean six wings.
[00:29:48] Yeah.
[00:29:50] And then covered with eyes inside and out in day and night and never stop saying this.
[00:29:55] And I mean, I just want to continue a little bit more to come in verse nine when it talks about the elders and just how how appropriate it is for them to these elders are with God.
[00:30:07] You know, they are with God in heaven.
[00:30:09] So they are some of his people, you know, chosen people to be there.
[00:30:13] These beings, it says whenever the living beings give glory, honor and thanks to the one sitting on the throne to the one who lives forever and ever.
[00:30:23] The 24 elders fall down before the one sitting on the throne who lives forever and ever and worship him.
[00:30:31] They throw their crowns in front of the throne and say you are worthy Lord Most High.
[00:30:38] You have glory, honor and power because you created all things.
[00:30:43] Yes, because of your will they were created and came into being.
[00:30:47] And that's just the fact that they're actually saying that specific thing and saying this is why they're saying you're worthy and all glory and honor and power.
[00:30:57] And then it says because you created all things and then they go into it a little deeper and just reiterate it and say yes because of your will they were created and came into being.
[00:31:07] We weren't haphazardly created and they're telling God, we know you meant to do this and casting crowns on the ground.
[00:31:15] They're obviously royalty in a sense.
[00:31:19] They're all wearing crowns but they're wearing them so that they can cast them down.
[00:31:24] And I think we just don't see that in our world today where all the crowns we see around, they're never going to drop, hit the floor.
[00:31:31] Their knees are never going to, not even one knee is going to hit the ground with the leaders we know in this world today.
[00:31:39] But it says every knee will bow and every tongue will confess that Jesus Christ is Lord when he returns.
[00:31:46] Yeah. And the Old and New Testament both say that too that every knee will bow.
[00:31:52] That was prophesied and Jesus said it as well.
[00:31:56] Right? I believe or maybe it was.
[00:31:58] I'm not sure.
[00:31:59] I'm not sure.
[00:32:01] But I do know that said also verbatim and that's a cross reference.
[00:32:05] Yeah, I mean I know in Daniel and these other prophets there's a lot of that rhetoric because Daniel and revelations are like brothers.
[00:32:13] And it's a lot of God telling Daniel the whole world is going to be in turmoil but everyone's going to acknowledge me as the one true God.
[00:32:24] And all the false idols are going to be useless to these people.
[00:32:29] And so I mean I really wanted to do Daniel, Daniel.
[00:32:33] Isaiah is really good too. There's probably a lot more in it.
[00:32:36] There's so much in Isaiah.
[00:32:38] It's not just the throne room chapter but Isaiah and Revelation and Daniel and Revelation.
[00:32:43] So Daniel is another one that people who picked Daniel apart so well now and we could do a really good episode on this.
[00:32:51] They've pinpointed most of our recent history through Daniel and said this is this country.
[00:32:58] This is this country and then these countries are going to come up and rise against the little horn and the big horn growing on the goat.
[00:33:06] It's going to be against Israel and even the USA is one of the horns that goes against Israel.
[00:33:13] Because originally there's two horns that are being attacked and just different things like them.
[00:33:18] They got it down to specific eerie details.
[00:33:24] It's almost like Daniel was telling the next 2000 years and Revelation is telling us the 2000 years after that which is going to be the tribulation.
[00:33:36] So it's kind of crazy to me.
[00:33:39] There's like two prophetic books that are just like here's God wants us to know the near future.
[00:33:44] He also wants us to know the far future which is actually our present now.
[00:33:51] I don't think a lot of people are even going to try to deny that.
[00:33:55] Everybody's always thought at the end of the world was coming when Hitler came to power or different things like that.
[00:34:01] And I'm thinking to myself it's not going to be one person coming to power or declaring war on another nation.
[00:34:07] It's going to be the entire world falling apart and it just speaks about it in Revelation like that.
[00:34:12] So I don't blame them for thinking those things and especially for the Jews to be the ones that were persecuted so harshly in the Holocaust.
[00:34:20] But I think it's just going to be a lot more than just hey he's the Antichrist.
[00:34:26] It's not going to be like that.
[00:34:28] It's not going to be so specific.
[00:34:30] Yeah.
[00:34:32] Yeah.
[00:34:34] Interesting.
[00:34:35] I was thinking and I was reading about before this was it's interesting that Isaiah falls down when he comes to the throne.
[00:34:49] Or when he sees the throne, you know, he's very aware of his sinfulness.
[00:34:54] But this doesn't happen to John.
[00:34:58] And it's interesting because John doesn't have to fall down and be aware of his sinfulness.
[00:35:09] He's got like boldness to approach God's throne, but mostly it's because he has been with Jesus.
[00:35:15] True.
[00:35:16] And there's a part even where we see in Revelation chapter one verse 17, Jesus says to him, do not be afraid.
[00:35:26] I am the first and the last and he laid his right hand on him.
[00:35:29] So it's almost like there's like this thought of, I don't know how true it is, but it seems like John was like covered by Jesus.
[00:35:39] Like he had his hand on him.
[00:35:40] And Jesus gave him the ability to approach God's throne with boldness and confidence like Paul talks about.
[00:35:50] Right.
[00:35:52] So I find that interesting is just like we can have a relationship with God now through Jesus, through our faithfulness in Jesus.
[00:36:05] Because Jesus covers up or because God made Jesus to be sin, now we can approach God's throne.
[00:36:16] So I think it's interesting that John doesn't see God's throne and immediately just fall down and recognize his sinfulness.
[00:36:25] But it could be because, you know, I mean, yeah, I think there is a lot to that where Jesus offered forgiveness of sins too.
[00:36:33] And he was his direct disciple.
[00:36:36] Yeah.
[00:36:38] And he might have been one of the people that directly witnessed the angel after who went to the tomb, but the two angels that were just sitting there on the slab just saying,
[00:36:48] if you're looking for Jesus, he's not here.
[00:36:51] So they saw angels, they've seen miracles and demons get expelled from, they actually expelled demons from people.
[00:36:58] So you think about it like this, I think he's had so much experience with God and the spiritual forces.
[00:37:06] It was really like he was kind of removed from that scared moment where it didn't throw him for a loop.
[00:37:15] For a loop, you know, I think in Isaiah's case it was actually permitted for him to do those things.
[00:37:24] Like God said, I want you to take this coal on your lips because I know your heart and I knew you were going to say this.
[00:37:32] I knew you were going to think this.
[00:37:34] Now I'm going to say no, your lips are clean and your sins are forgiven.
[00:37:38] So he didn't have that assurance until that point when God told him that.
[00:37:42] And a lot of Jews never did and probably still don't because it was just this animal sacrifice.
[00:37:49] Yeah, they're still trying to do it in their own works, right?
[00:37:52] But I mean it was things God told them to do to sacrifice this animal for your sins and this and this.
[00:37:58] But it was always just a temporary, it always just covered the sin and never actually removed it is what I've been told.
[00:38:06] The blood of the animals only covered it and made it look pretty but it never removed it from your soul.
[00:38:15] And so Jesus in ultimate sacrifice actually was able to cover it and remove it as far as the east is from the west.
[00:38:24] And you do see those Old Testament scriptures like I said where God says come now let's settle this, you know, let's stop going back and forth here.
[00:38:32] If you repent and turn from your sins I will be your God, you'll be my people.
[00:38:38] Your sins are scarlet red, they will be white as snow and there's a very plain, hey, I will forget everything.
[00:38:46] And this is Isaiah, this is before he becomes a prophet, right?
[00:38:52] So he's telling the people this, he's saying look, maybe it's after the fact but he probably didn't believe it for himself either until he was born.
[00:39:02] He was actually told that and he needed to be told that.
[00:39:05] And then John in another respect is he's exiled on the island of Patmos I think is where he ends up having this vision because he was the last disciple after them all being head-hunted.
[00:39:19] And he ends up being the one that's going to show the entire world what God's plan is for humanity and the earth.
[00:39:32] Wow, good stuff.
[00:39:33] Yeah, and I love that Isaiah after experiencing God in his throne and his holiness he's just like so eager to help.
[00:39:52] He says here I am, send me which is like my most favorite line which is what I put in the beginning of the song Comforter.
[00:40:06] Right.
[00:40:08] Yeah, I just I really I enjoy that thought of Isaiah just being like I don't care what it is like here's my body you know like you have it all like I've seen you now.
[00:40:20] I've seen how majestic and how sovereign and how big you are and these angels are worshiping you and Heavens actually essentially terrifying like God is actually terrifying.
[00:40:34] Yeah, in some sense.
[00:40:37] So yeah, I just I enjoy that Isaiah is just like whatever it is like here I am you know volunteering essentially.
[00:40:47] Yeah, he already had the idea of hey this is anything anything goes I'm going to you know and God doesn't specifically ask him who can I send to this place to do this thing and this thing and he's already like oh it doesn't matter you know like.
[00:41:04] He just says whom shall I send who will go for us.
[00:41:08] And when he says us he's talking about God the Son and the Holy Spirit in plurality he's saying who will go for us because we need someone to speak for us and even just paved the way for the Messiah.
[00:41:24] This is Old Testament guys.
[00:41:25] God is talking plural in the Old Testament like there's another reference that Jesus is the Messiah.
[00:41:34] True.
[00:41:36] Yeah.
[00:41:39] Man how many of us could just learn from Isaiah and just say here I am God you know I volunteer whatever it is whatever it is that you have for me.
[00:41:50] But too many of us are wanting to do it on our own terms and as long as it's as long as it brings you know fortune and and Instagram followers like I'll do it for God but you know this is I just I mean I might be preaching to myself in this but.
[00:42:10] Isaiah is just like volunteering doesn't even really doesn't even have any clue what he's going to be doing and you know he's just knocking at the door and I think that's I think that those are the type of hearts that the Lord is searching for and is for people that are just willing.
[00:42:35] And maybe that's what the world can't understand to is why would you just agree to that you don't know what you're going to be asked to do or anything like that.
[00:42:44] Why would you follow a God that you don't even know that well and that she don't see on a day to day base in things like that but in respect to a lot of testimonies that people have.
[00:42:54] Isaiah basically having his whole life sin being you know a no right before him with the burning coal saying look you're going to speak for me now.
[00:43:06] And your lips are clean and all your sins are forgiven in that moment it's like you're going to do that for me.
[00:43:12] Oh yeah I'm going to do anything you ask me to do now because he saw the holiness that he was looking at.
[00:43:20] You know the whole room was filled with smoke.
[00:43:24] You know the train of his rope filled the temple.
[00:43:27] The creatures were just day and night saying holy holy holy is the Lord God Almighty.
[00:43:33] The whole earth is filled with his glory and that's another thing too.
[00:43:37] I think a lot of people don't realize they're saying the whole earth is filled with God's glory.
[00:43:43] I was just thinking that yeah I was trying to not just you know like people look at the earth and say oh it's so fallen it's so sinful and evil and I'm like this is God's creation still.
[00:43:54] He said the whole earth is filled with his glory.
[00:43:56] He didn't come to die for this idea that you're trying to push.
[00:44:00] So we have to come in a right mind and perspective when we're talking about the world and how you know if you want to just be so heavenly minded that you're no earthly good.
[00:44:12] Yeah good luck.
[00:44:14] I don't want to talk to God or Jesus after that life that I lead where I'm only living for salvation and I don't save anyone else from the.
[00:44:24] There's going to be a lot of people who are going to be really.
[00:44:28] Most people.
[00:44:29] Yeah most people are going to be like what I just I just waited for my salvation like we're not supposed to be sitting around waiting for Jesus to come back.
[00:44:38] Like the Bible the word says right there that the whole earth is full of his glory.
[00:44:42] We have a we have an ability to start an eternal relationship with Jesus now.
[00:44:47] He's wanting to do things today.
[00:44:49] He's wanting to use you in your current situation your current circumstances he's wanted to do it now.
[00:44:57] And so man again I feel like that's preaching to me like the whole earth is full of his glory like we yes there's a lot of pain and issues in the world suffering.
[00:45:14] Yeah but if we look the world is full of his glory and he has he has a plan right now.
[00:45:22] So like you were saying earlier too is like I guess you're not looking hard enough.
[00:45:27] You're saying you know some people don't feel like God's presence but that probably is the very simple first step into finding God though and being closer to him is looking for it and actually running for those days and go to places that you're going to find him.
[00:45:44] You're not going to find him online on Facebook in bars.
[00:45:49] Oh you might find them I don't know.
[00:45:51] You never know.
[00:45:52] Yeah it's very rare.
[00:45:53] Yeah God is in these places where people want to experience him so church different gatherings you know don't forsake the gathering of brothers because that's when God fully comes down and the Holy Spirit permeates the room and lives are changed.
[00:46:11] There's people that have just been played with sin and doubt and pain in their lives and their whole lives change 180 degrees.
[00:46:19] You cannot explain it physically or you know psychologically based on our science and based on how we look at the human brain.
[00:46:29] So it's just like somebody getting it's an equivalent of somebody getting up out of a wheelchair and being healed from paralysis like Jesus healed the paralyzed person.
[00:46:40] So yeah I love that I hear a lot of people at my church young adults.
[00:46:50] I heard someone this week talk about this her you know one of her I think it was like a teacher or something she had this teacher who she grew up in a Christian household and again you know a lot of American culture is just this Christian culture.
[00:47:09] It's not really it's just kind of like a it's not really a kingdom lifestyle but this this girl at my church was talking about she was like something was different with my teacher and she really.
[00:47:20] shared the gospel with me and it was just like she was different like something was different with her I knew a lot of Christians I grew up in Christian household I went to church every time.
[00:47:29] And then she was just like something's different with this person and I hear that a lot with.
[00:47:35] You know I I recognize that so with when Maddie Montgomery came to see you was like dude something's different about this guy like I've heard Christians talk I've heard pastors talk I've heard sermons like what the heck is different with this guy why is.
[00:47:49] Why am I feeling something so different and.
[00:47:52] What was I going with that I was just yeah it's just crazy.
[00:47:58] Go.
[00:48:00] Go towards people where you feel like you're like something's different where they and I and I truly believe there are kingdom people.
[00:48:08] That are that repented and put their true faith and trust in Jesus and there's people that just believe in Jesus.
[00:48:17] And there's a big difference and you'll feel it immediately in the way that they carry themselves in the way that they talk about the word of God the humility that they have.
[00:48:27] So I just encourage anybody.
[00:48:30] If you're not feeling that or if you've you've met somebody that's at your church and you're going like the way that they say things just feels and sounds different it's probably from heaven it's probably from the Holy Spirit and there.
[00:48:45] And this is a person that is really tapping in to the kingdom culture and not just American Christianity so.
[00:48:53] Yes.
[00:48:55] That's like a big difference that I've noticed is you're just if you find somebody that you feel like that's happening with them like.
[00:49:05] I don't know get coffee with them all the time like just delve into yeah delve into it.
[00:49:11] Yeah like.
[00:49:13] And if it's happening to you.
[00:49:15] Yeah be strong enough deep do you care enough to get it right.
[00:49:19] Yeah care enough to go the opposite direction and actually are you strong enough and can you swallow your pride to ask for help from someone else.
[00:49:29] And we need to be that involved in each other's lives is uncomfortable because today everybody's on their own device and on their own path.
[00:49:36] Yeah and it's just absolutely the antithesis or antithesis of you know that the path that God wants us to be taking as a church body so.
[00:49:50] Yeah so yeah find those kingdom people the whole earth is full of his glory.
[00:49:56] If you're not feeling God I mean first of all open the word of God he's talking to you in this and then secondly you know find people and find places where you see God moving.
[00:50:09] And I think it is yeah it will change your life perfect yeah.
[00:50:15] Perfect cool good stuff good stuff tonight so we got a little bit of some.
[00:50:21] Some.
[00:50:23] Cross references we got you know Isaiah talking about seraphim angels and John 800 years later talking about seraphim angels like God guys God is the same in the Old Testament and the New Testament.
[00:50:39] And that just I mean just that right there convinces me that we're working with just one sovereign God.
[00:50:48] And he's the same today yesterday and tomorrow so.
[00:50:54] Yeah so we're running out of time tonight but thank you guys for listening.
[00:51:03] This is a good topic.
[00:51:06] Yeah so thank you guys you have any questions email us message us I don't think we had any comments tonight where is everybody.

[00:52:11] Tithe to our ministry so we really appreciate that and we got things happening things moving things.
[00:52:17] Things growing and finances are becoming a thing so.
[00:52:21] Yeah and maybe we can put together some type of a merchandise.

[00:52:58] If you're listening our cash app is finding Neverland bands so thank you for the support.
[00:53:04] Again episode 43 we talked about.
[00:53:08] What what does it mean that God is holy holy holy and just to kind of reiterate holy is the only word that said three times in the Bible.
[00:53:17] So they are really emphasizing this.
[00:53:20] So usually if they did it twice it was emphasized so now this is three times so I find that really interesting.
[00:53:27] Yeah yeah.
[00:53:29] The fact that he recorded it like that too means it actually was said like that.
[00:53:33] Yeah yeah and it's said by two people in two totally different eras of time.
[00:53:41] Yeah that's amazing.
[00:53:42] Yeah that's amazing.
[00:53:44] Amazing so God is in fact eternal has authority over everything over all creation and he is our hope and he's the same in the entire Bible so I think that gives me hope.
[00:53:59] Me too.
[00:54:01] Yeah cool thank you guys for listening thank you for watching we'll end with a prayer.

[00:54:53] And just thank you for other prophets too like Daniel and Zachariah and these different people Lord we all need to delve into more because it was your message to us and connect the dots like we tried tonight with Isaiah and Revelation.
[00:55:12] Just see the amazing work that you've done in your word and your word does not return to you void when you speak something it comes back to you with its purpose fulfilled so we love you and thank you.
[00:55:24] Talk to you later.
