#44 How Much Do You Love God?

[00:00:03] Hello everybody. It's been a couple weeks. Thankful to be here, doing it after so many technical difficulties. So many technical difficulties, struggling with internet and certain things like that just difficult to deal with to reach out and do another

[00:00:24] I can't teach another lesson and for all those that would help. Let's get into this man. This is episode number 44 now. James on vacation right now and so I'll be filming in. So look at the charted.

[00:00:46] I'm trying to teach something that's been on my heart and seems like the Holy Spirit is really. Just been working through me to find all the scriptures that I can find for this topic.

[00:00:59] And so episode 44, the top is how much do you really look at or how much do you look at? And I'll go and start it out with a scripture from Judoronami chapter six verse 44.

[00:01:16] Shema, yes, where I am, which means here is the Lord, the Lord is one and you are to love at or not. The Lord, your God with all your heart, all your being and all your resources.

[00:01:36] So this is, this is a way back when the Lord's were being passed down from Moses.

[00:01:44] And to this day, the Shema, which is this daily prayer is highly revered by the Jewish people and they say it every day through a mind themselves of their position with God and how much they need to.

[00:02:02] Cated their lives to this calling to love God with all your heart, all of your strength or being or all your being which is soul and all of your strength, which also says resources.

[00:02:19] And then the other verse that I had was on the post actually I can't really, I couldn't pull it up I guess, recently, but it says where is it? Yes, actually Romans 3 says Paul writing to. You knew he's calling from Old Testament prophecy.

[00:02:51] Romans chapter 3 verse 10 through well, he says as it is written, al-Arcanning back to the prophetic words there is no one righteous not even one. There is no one who understands there is no one who sees God. All have turned away.

[00:03:12] Together, in birthless there is no one who does good not even want. So you take these two verses and you juxtapose them right away. God's commanding is people to love him with all of their strength, soul and heart.

[00:03:33] And then this other verse they're saying, look no one see even a sea sky. No one understands. Judy around on me 6 4 through 5. All have turned away. They have together become worthless. There is no one who does good not even want.

[00:03:52] It just it just speaks to what our idea of good is and what God's idea of good is because he alone is good. It came to Jesus and say good teacher. He being the son of God even corrected them and said, why do you call me good?

[00:04:10] There is no one good but God himself. So if he's saying that he's trying to make a point that word lost. And no matter where you're at with your walk with the father, these are very, I think in my opinion, these are very skipped over.

[00:04:30] And I think that's the topic in the church because you know, in the church is like hey, you know, we're saved or we live Jesus. You know, we love God but when Jesus is saying I'll get to this later but when he's saying he loves me.

[00:04:45] Keep my commandments and so if we're not doing that, if we're not keeping his commandments to love God and love others as much as we love ourselves. That's a main one because. Most people don't think God wants us to love ourselves but that's a, that's a commitment.

[00:05:02] Then we don't truly love him and I think we make so many things on the devil will both pass us to make so many excuses for why there should be an exception in our case because.

[00:05:17] It just wasn't like this or you don't know what I've been through or I've, you know, how I've been affected in life.

[00:05:23] The evil that's been perpetrated against me of course I have my walls up. I'm not going to branch out and do these things, but that's where the Holy Spirit comes into play and those actually versus the talk about this so. Sure to wait.

[00:05:39] I'm going to break it down a little bit to the three different parts. This is you know, let the Lord with all your heart. All your soul and all your strength or. Being so for all your heart.

[00:05:53] The heart is your will and effect. When you feel emotion is on your the see of your hearts is the seed of your emotions. You know, it also says the heart is wicked and the seeful of all things who can understand it.

[00:06:11] But the heart they got wants us to have for him is not subjected to those. You know, supposedly inevitable fallouts of just keep following your heart that your heart should be on God.

[00:06:28] So problems for first three. Keep that heart with all diligence for out of it are the issues of life. And everyone can probably test to just win. Your heart. Kind of bends your will.

[00:06:46] More than anything that we know everything is contingent on how you feel at the moment the emotions that you're feeling. Those become sort of the driver with a whole new student will in your life. So to keep that heart with all diligence. Billigants. So you're actually really trying.

[00:07:11] For out of it are the issues of life. And we can attest to that because everything we have in life has a direct result of our own actions or in actions.

[00:07:22] And a lot of times it's easy to pass the blame to go to the devil for one thing, but I think we give him way too much credit.

[00:07:29] We're we're just as evil as is when needed to be to accomplish those goals for him. He's just he's just sitting there with his arms crossed like I didn't even have to do anything.

[00:07:41] Jeremiah 17, verse nine, the heart is a seeful of all things and desperately wicked who can know it. So that is the verse I was talking about where. You know we're trying to figure out where's the separation here between our heart is doomed.

[00:08:02] But we're supposed to love God with that heart and how is this, how is this possible it seems like a contradiction that's going on here. I'll continue the. Judoranami chapter 30, verse six and the Lord that guy will circumcise that heart and the heart of they see.

[00:08:23] To love the Lord that guy with all nine heart and with all that soul that down May is live. So he's going into deeper. He's going into deeper detail on how this again be accomplished.

[00:08:36] He will circumcise meaning kind of way the parts of our heart that are stony and give us a heart of flesh So that we can accomplish this he's not going to ask us to do something or give us a commandment where we can't

[00:08:50] Ultimately succeed and follow through with those things And that's another excuse that I think many people say I'm just a sinner. I cannot help it and he has Paul even talked about You know the things that I want to do

[00:09:04] I do not do but the things that I don't want to do. I can't stop doing You know, he's struggling in his mind on how our human nature is so powerful Then it takes work and it takes the Holy Spirit to actually conquer these

[00:09:21] You know pitfalls in life because it's a very fine line You know, and then we'll just test it set one trap for you and you could go down hill real quick and I've been

[00:09:30] Testimid to a lot of those things in my life and see it all around my life For more people so This brings true to me. I mean, what the Scriptures are speaking about reality This is not something most secular people would agree with these scriptures and say yeah

[00:09:48] If you if you just circumcise your heart and you've got rid of all the things that we're causing you trouble in your life Then you would live you're solo a prosper

[00:09:57] And they wouldn't even bring God into the equation that you saying this is how I want you to conduct yourself. It's all for our good So Psalm 51 verse 10 create in me a clean heart Oh God and renew a right spirit within me

[00:10:15] And of course, this is David writing these songs He's speaking to God saying Renew our right spirit within me he's praying for this because He knows he's just one step away. He's battling with his own wickedness And trying to get as close as he can to God

[00:10:34] Raid mean it clean our knowing that his heart is desperately filthy and dirty And says a man who knows God, but this is a man who was called a man over after God's own heart So he's speaking for his own heart and say look I know it's wrong

[00:10:51] I know I'm out of place and so where do we? It's not even paying any into this at all And the book of easy cue the prophet Chapter 36 Verse 26 a new heart also will give you and a new spirit will I put within you?

[00:11:12] And I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh and I will give you a heart of flesh Telling us that this is your human condition that you were born into and through the prophet He's telling the This Israelites

[00:11:31] This is how I'm going to accomplish this. I'm gonna put a new spirit in it And that stony heart. I'm gonna take it away. I'm gonna circumcise it And I'll give you a heart of flesh and it's like wow when you talk about people being born again

[00:11:46] Or they've come to the faith that they came to know Christ Those are the moments where people had life altering emotions and Just feelings that they couldn't explain and that's those are the moments where you had touches down and

[00:12:02] The glory of God actually touches your heart and your feet And it's a beautiful thing if you if you if you want to and like Some people look good suffering different time of life. I think It's hard to start to go back to that life after I know

[00:12:21] What I do know it's hard to eat you can't unsee or unread what she's already read and this like a lot of nature Honestly when someone's been told something and never leaves their heart and never leaves their mind

[00:12:33] Their mind's always going to remember that and so then comes the battle of the will where they just completely suppress this truth Or they pretend like it's not truth at all

[00:12:46] And there's a truth that they're going to follow. You know, it's my truth and this is this is all Really just bringing true to me. So this is real life Is a real people that wrote these things and they struggle just like we did Psalm 51

[00:13:05] I went with that with So Macres now as So Saul 119 Their live it. This is also David Wherewith all shall a young man cleanse his way by taking heed There to according to that word With my whole heart have I saw the

[00:13:30] Old that may not wander from thy commandments That word have I hid in mine heart that I might not see an against the And this is so Brought and cover so many faces it just a few short verses that I'll pick apart a little bit here in it

[00:13:49] He's asking you know, how can I cleanse my heart And my ways of living you know by taking heed according to your word So it's in the word of God is in the scriptures that he finds God he finds What God wants for his life

[00:14:08] If for those around him He stays he stays in the words Says your word have I hid in my heart So that I might not sin against the This is this is this is rich so he's in the word but then he hides it inside him

[00:14:27] He hides it inside so that he can remember oh no this this is this is not Pleasing the father this would not you know be obeying his commandments Let me not wander from your commandments For my whole heart have I saw the Again going back to the commandments

[00:14:47] of And how important it is when God says to listen and obey it His commandments It's his way of telling us this is this has to be like this or us we're not gonna give closest meat I'm God

[00:15:03] You are my creation and this is the only way we're going to have the fullness of our relationship Is through my commandments and later as a verse where do you just say it if you love me keep my commandments so

[00:15:17] Hending the son of God at that moment. It's cats out of the bag You know what commandments did he have you know they were the same as his fathers You saying if you don't follow those you truly don't love me

[00:15:30] And so we're talking about how much do you love God and this is going to skill when you come full circle if it's a little while to see So that was that was the heart

[00:15:44] And now I'm gonna go into of the Lord your God with all your soul In the soul mean your whole being It's not a ghost in the machine It's not anything close to that it's actually all connected and intertwined in a way that we can't set

[00:16:05] Or people think oh your soul left your body And those type of things is not that simple We've kind of just created all these different ways of thinking about things but your soul is your entire

[00:16:19] mind and your thoughts and your in your whole being of of you have your spirit Which is ultimately the pure spirit that God has given us from birth From heaven when he created us and then your soul is the decision maker And this is the one

[00:16:40] This is the one area that the enemy targets those people after the soul because if he can influence your emotions Your thoughts and your decision maker than he can get you to do anything he wants you

[00:16:52] So the soul is like target number what the heart is basically number two I imagine Because The hearts already is evil among all things you know we can do it ourselves. You don't have any problem You know going off the path with the heart but the soul

[00:17:15] Is this thing that it covers all aspects of your being your whole being And Psalm 42 Verse 2 through 3 It says this is this is This is David again My soul thirst for God for the living God when shall I come and appear before God

[00:17:39] My tears have been my meat day and night while they continually say into me whereas I got And this is Such a relatable verse for me because I Have I have had moments where I'm just thirsty for God's presence and I

[00:17:59] No matter how much I seem to try to Yeah close to it even though he's always near to looks. I feel like I can't grasp it You know just telling God that you do thirst for for him And he is living God there is no God like it

[00:18:22] When shall I come and appear before God saying when will I die when will I actually meet my maker or maybe he's even saying When shall I actually have this interaction I desire so much to have with your presence in this in this life

[00:18:37] You know my tears have been meet my meat day and night basically saying he's not eating He's so distraught he's fastening or he's just not eating because he's depressed and the tears is the only thing that

[00:18:51] You know he can be considered something that's happening for it just completely Yes, rod and the tears coming out of his eyes or the only sustenance to his body can seem to have

[00:19:04] And his vicinity I think no and the tears he's saying while they continually say it to me where is that I got? And at that moment you're like wow You know this is happening for me so many times where

[00:19:22] You know I will I will be crying or I will have moments of a breakdown and it's the devil's voice coming in right there and saying look these tears that you got going on They wouldn't be happy they've got to actually love you. You would feel this way

[00:19:38] If you're right here to comfort you right now and you have to just shut all that out all those thoughts you have to take Catives and you have to throw them at the foot of the cross that Jesus Christ hung from Especifer vice them with your flesh

[00:19:57] The next next thing I'll go into and this is more of a day one that I didn't really understand but with all your strength I took it to me everything that you can muster your full capacity with which you were created with so meaning

[00:20:16] You know some some verses say all your might all your All your you know provision But I think what we were created with certain gifts Doesn't matter if you became a believer or not you've re-envious and You know as your conscience it should be dictating

[00:20:40] Every moving your life and I believe we were all created with the conscience from birth When you actually receive the Holy Spirit it's like putting a megaphone on that on that Conscience where it's like you feel terrible after having already made with somebody

[00:20:57] People that don't know God I don't have the Holy Spirit feel that way. They just can't explain it like We can't we actually go into the scriptures here But you know the gifts that we've been given in life

[00:21:11] to you squander or take a backseat to certain things that we know we've been given a calling to do You know whether it's music or art You're really good at construction you're really good at Helping people you're a healer

[00:21:31] Care giver there's so many different gifts that God has given us There's gifts of prophecy There's there's more spiritual side of things and then there's the physical side they got really wants to take home You really want to bring home with us to say hey

[00:21:45] I'm bringing the kingdom down to earth now So the spiritual and the physical should be one with each other and that's why he's listing here with all your heart Soul and strength is because it's a huge encompassing everything And it's not just a spiritual

[00:22:01] You know because you'll have people in church and you know what is love really? You might love yourself Which I struggle to think the most people even do that nowadays because everybody so

[00:22:14] You know fixated on whatever everybody else thinks of them and not well God thinks of them If they don't like themselves they don't have themselves but we should love our neighbors as ourselves that was what Jesus said And

[00:22:26] By that they would know that you were there you were his disciple and so Very easy for Missionary to get on a plane and go to some other country where they don't know anybody and go preach the word of God See people saved by the hundreds and

[00:22:44] Krish the gospel, but have you talked to your neighbor about God? You're your coworker. Have you ever mentioned That you follow God that is it something that you can get past and you need to pray about

[00:22:56] Whether or not you're actually fulfilling your calling is a disciple of Christ too You know because you know you're more scared of what they're going to Say or think of you Then say somebody you've never met before in Africa that is going to listen to you and

[00:23:15] Actually objectively take what you say to heart And we know We've already created imaginary evils in our mind saying I know how this outcome going to take Everyone that you know is regard when I said and they're gonna judge me from that point forward

[00:23:30] And they're not gonna be my friend anymore and It's those those moments where they're ever meets the road and so you can stay in church and And sing how a loo y'all they on but that's the safest place the devil wants us to be is

[00:23:47] Sing in hymns and reading scriptures that he knows better than we do To be honest, you know, we can't give ourselves any credit in that And as long as we're doing it as long as we don't take action on the

[00:24:03] The words that we're speaking or that we claim to believe and they're golden. They don't have to You don't have to do anything The churches lay on dicey and it's a little this look warm doesn't

[00:24:16] It's not hot or cold, you know, and I think that's another thing that is found on my heart lately for the church So I'll go into like the very last part of this which is What is love and what is You know in the context of God

[00:24:40] Creating us with this ocean also Who has this emotion and displays it to us unconditionally And I think the term unconditional love is correct And a manner of speaking but Then they take that to me in the God with unconditionally bless you and unconditionally

[00:25:02] Show a favorite to you, and I think that is incorrect Everything is conditional when it comes to that His love is it's not conditional, but There is always a if you do this then I will do this if you follow this then you will be blessed

[00:25:22] And so it's very conditional on how we operate in life with the ones around us and with our relationship with God and how we present And that there's So love It's God's character and nature Not just a feeling but an action God chooses to do and

[00:25:42] In creating in his image I Have to believe even though I don't want to sometimes The love is an action. It's a verb It's not just a noun It's something you choose to do and you like I choose to love this person today

[00:26:02] Even if I don't feel like doing it or I don't feel love for this person, but I will show them love And you have to I can only imagine this is God. This is what God does all the time I think because he hates our sin

[00:26:18] He hates our Disobedience that he chooses to love a Svregardless of those things we could take a lot from that As his children But going back in the scripture junior on him chapter seven Verse seven to eight The Lord did not say his love upon you

[00:26:43] Nor choose you because you were more in number than any people for you Or the fewest of all people he's talking about that insural life But because the Lord loved you and because he would keep the oath which he had sworn unto your fathers I am out Abraham

[00:27:02] Half the Lord brought you out with a mighty hand and Redeemed you out of the house of fond and the hand of Pharaoh in of the Egypt So he's telling them Everything you might think about why I have chosen you is probably incorrect

[00:27:22] But it's because he loves the people and sworn those to the forefathers that he would do this He would redeem them from slavery and Egypt. It's because of those things that God he keeps his word You know

[00:27:43] That one word that he sets out is not find his way back accomplished I Can't say the same for most people on this planet Because I broke my word so many times

[00:27:56] I've had to just put that in the past and actually try to be better and move forward you know put it in the cross Jeremiah 313 The Lord half appeared Of old unto me saying yeah I have loved the with an everlasting love therefore

[00:28:18] With loving kindness have I drawn So his love is everlasting is the saying His love his loving kindness has drawn the people to him and I think in the midst of him Actually going back to being delivered from Egypt when he delivered

[00:28:39] the Jewish people in the midst of all the calamity and the Plays that were happening upon Egypt and Just the the horror that was beforeing the people there And ultimately the first born son being killed for anyone who knew the smear the blood over the doorpost

[00:29:01] There were so many Egyptians that left with the Jewish people after seeing these signs and wonders And said I want to follow your god so there were so many not Jewish people that

[00:29:16] You know it was like half and half it seemed like you know they left with them God said you know treat them like you would treat each your own the foreigner will be like you in my eyes

[00:29:28] So you better treat them with every amount of respect and these are the people that were insulated So I imagine there was a lot of prejudice and a lot of fighting going down

[00:29:38] That saying they're not real Jews. I are not God's chosen people and God's telling them no If you better not even start doing that because this is not my that's not my nature Jeremiah chapter 31 first three I already went just did that just did that word

[00:30:01] June around him for verse 37 and because he loved that father's therefore he chose their seat after them And brought the out in his sight with his mighty power out of the Egypt again just reiterating

[00:30:15] He loves the fathers Abraham Isaac and Jacob who were the father of the Jewish people You know the patriarch It's the shows they're seed after the saying look Everyone from you and you're getting the same treatment You know and ultimately delivering them from sleep Get around me chapter 10

[00:30:41] verse 12 through 13 real what do you learn? I got it repired at the park But to fear the Lord God fucking all his ways Until the Lord I got with all I heart and with all they soul

[00:30:59] To keep commandments of the Lord and his statues which I command the This day for they good He's asking them this question Being kind of sarcastic saying What do I actually require? And he's just list the same thing he's always done

[00:31:18] He's the same yesterday today in tomorrow. Nothing is new under this sun within And that's the thing today everything's there's always something new that we haven't heard about if it's new it's probably not true

[00:31:31] It's what happened told and you know like we have a new world or where do they want to try to implement it people think you know it's very apparent before our eyes now but

[00:31:41] Must people don't want to think about it. They think God will sort out the details and he will But he's calling this to actually be part of it and actually define against forces that be able to We do not you know wrestle with

[00:31:56] We don't battle with flesh and blood. We battle with the principalities and demons You know in a different realm So he's giving us these tools just to put our minds on him and In ultimately keep the commandments which I command the this day for that good

[00:32:18] They're meant for our good and they meant for our prosperity It's not a burden for us to obey 1 through 10 those are the first tank Commandments You know the first five deal with our relationship but God You know love the Lord your God and serve him only

[00:32:38] Is the only one true goddess this Number one and then you go through five and then from six to ten It deals with our relationship with other people on here so he split it up in half for it

[00:32:52] If you ever look at it then it says do not do not cut it You know murder do not steal Do not lie He's saying the last five of those commandments are this is how you should react towards towards one another on this Please me

[00:33:07] So the first five is forgotten the second half is for us. I always thought that was really interesting And get one pick up on that rope. They just see it as 10 commands First John Chapter four first 19 Says we love him because he first love us

[00:33:30] That you know that there's never been a moment in history where we love God Before he had already first love Because you know Adam and Eve and then the garden were taken here of today level of Affection and had

[00:33:47] Enough love for them to what's they fell even pick them up and carry them through that and say this is how you're gonna operate from here on out It wasn't he broke my commandments and I'm done. I'm done with you know this is unfathomable to modern day

[00:34:03] relational society where somebody burns you once you ain't talking to him You know I gotta cut talk to people out of my life. You know, I just see never say that anyone you never Never learn to love people they're unlovable That's pretty that's pretty prideful We're God's loving

[00:34:25] All of him mankind has no care to love him back He still loves them Love them enough to go over the cross send his son to die for While it's still sinners Christ I for it's this just that

[00:34:41] Need to you need to just have these versus in your heart and just realize this is not something we We didn't come up with this like oh yeah, yes, we love God It's a buffer no reason. You know just because we love it because he first of those

[00:34:57] First John One nineteen first sorry first John one first nine If we confess our sins he is faithful and just forgive those our sins and declaims us from all unrighteous So here we're seeing the love manifest itself and his actions toward those telling us that

[00:35:19] You know if he is faithful and just a forgive our sins is not we're not faithful and just Reneas of those things But it's saying if we can's He's faithful and just to forgive our sins and declaims us from all unrighteous This is a picture perfect view of

[00:35:39] What this love does you know in action? This is an action that he's taken He feels this motion just like we do but the action is where We differ I think on a lot of plates

[00:35:52] We're just that far removed from him where it really takes an action on our part to actually go through with this Especially when it comes to forgiving others for sin perpetrated against us

[00:36:07] You know if we want to say you know somewhere says if we know if we do not forgive others God will not forgive us So how many people are operating unforgiveness in their life that unforgiveness is preventing them from getting

[00:36:23] the forgiveness they need from God so they can give the forgiveness it's a cycle You can't show love and forgiveness if you've not been shown it by God So if you're putting up a wall

[00:36:36] For the whole experience to operate in your life I hang on to some grudges or anything like that in life You need to get into some of that and you need to express that they got say you need to remove this because

[00:36:48] This isn't gonna work. I'm gonna constantly be separate from your will and you're Emplacing in your love in my life And it's always us it does it you know You can only play more so it's like they you know when everything goes bad

[00:37:06] It's always it's always God's fault They you know he didn't do something for he did do this and then everything that goes good

[00:37:15] We take credit for like we did it. Oh, yeah, I did do that. You know I got that job or I was able to save that person And just you just really have no clue on how little of an effect you've had

[00:37:32] On any of that it was not your dude. It was actually the only fear that positive you do this In the first John Chapter three verse one Behold what manner of love the father has bestowed upon us that we should be called the sons of God

[00:37:51] Therefore the world knows that's not Because it knew him not Ultimately It's showing us that we you know we've been given such a manner of love that were You know we should be called the sons of God

[00:38:11] You know therefore the world knows it's not because it knew him not And It's showing the connection between us and God that was because it doesn't know him So we look crazy Running around if we don't have any substance to our faith if your faith

[00:38:31] Substance with or I just know Jesus and I was saved and I saw I know I wouldn't brag about that that's something Carable to admit to anybody that's all you know that is all you know Is John 360 and you're not gonna save anybody with that nobody wants that

[00:38:51] Hollow promise that has no substance to it whatsoever So being you can act if they got in this manner of being sons of God This is how the world's going to know us and then ultimately come to know him through us It's not because

[00:39:09] You know we're not looking to be known by the world But we're looking for him to be known through us in the world that we are not of the world In John 14 first 30 31 I Will not save much more to you this is Jesus talking

[00:39:30] To his disciples before he was arrested I will not say much more to you for the prince of this world is coming talking about the devil But he comes so that the world may learn that I love the father do exactly what my father has commanded

[00:39:47] Come now let us leave And as when they went to the garden of disseminate where they sat and prayed until The rolling guards came to arrest him with a Jewish legion And he's telling us this is his plan. He says I know this is the plan He's coming

[00:40:08] He's coming so that I can fulfill what God has asked me to do I'm gonna be arrested first of five And I'm gonna be raised again from the dead in three days You know God is allowing this to happen In Jesus is being faithful to the father

[00:40:27] Saying you know the world will know That I love the father and do exactly what my father has commanded This is something that God asked him to do was to sacrifice himself Could he have not done it? He have not I don't know

[00:40:45] But it was an option just like You know just like we have free will and options It was a conscious effort of Jesus to say yes I'm going to obey you Even in the garden he's sweating blood. It's an actual medical medical

[00:41:07] At the end where you're so stressed Let's start to come out of the pores of your body and this is how stressed he was about what he was Fixing to endure these praying to God saying take this cup away from me. I don't want to

[00:41:22] I want to go through with this easy meeting and take out He says but not my will your will be done Ultimately saying I'm going to fall through with this because I love you and I don't want to

[00:41:37] Is a point to you I'm doing this for you and yes Jesus loves us You know as much as the father and it but it was ultimately his obedience to the father which is what accomplished the way he did

[00:41:51] on the cross that was his main reason for going going through with it And then of course you've got John 3 16 I was there's a football game so I've everybody signs and everybody knows it My heart

[00:42:09] Whether means anything to them or they live their lives by at what's it away or for each other's about it Is a no-no story But John 3 16 for God so love the world they hate game is one and only son

[00:42:22] Then whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life and I think this versus so Or use in in society that we lose some of the meeting that's it on us Says God love the world um Most people today for probably say he doesn't

[00:42:49] of the entire world There are parts of the world there completely contrary to his ways and is They actually persecute his his people they kill them Certain places like China different places like that. They're still disciples that have to Me and secret like they did

[00:43:11] Me a broom in Rome because they were being hunted and all was one of those people they did on Christians until he was Converted with the vision of Christ saying why are you persecuted me?

[00:43:25] So I think it's not so black and white as people want it to be But in this sense God love the world The world that was going to pin his son on the cross and

[00:43:39] Not only that it has people that he called the Jewish people the Pharisees were the ones that were going to carry it out But the help of the Roman Legion of course because they could not pursue but with that permission But they wanted him dead for blessing

[00:43:59] And he just take all that into effect and it's just such a weighted You know broader story that he's like a whole sentence here, you know He's saying This is what happened and then this is the this is the benefit of what had

[00:44:18] That whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life To believe in Christ and to believe in the sacrifice that he made So the nun should perish Kind of you have to take the

[00:44:34] The opposite the negative of that and say so if you don't accept and then you are yes into perish That should be the heavier way of this first then As long as you believe in him won't perish but have eternal life

[00:44:50] Okay, but what about if you don't believe it then take the opposite and spell it out He that doesn't believe in him shall perish and Not have eternal life

[00:45:03] I do that with versus sometimes I try to try and look at the complete opposite meaning of what guys telling us So it's very clearly this is God's desire for us to actually know him and and to not Not ever perish And if spiritual sense you're on earth

[00:45:26] physical Spiritual in the life to come eternity Say their eternal life will be there for you Deep put your hope in the one and only son of God and this is his love just manifested again John 14 verse 15 this

[00:45:48] This is Jesus talking to the disciples this is the hard one If you love me Keep my commands And I will ask the father and he will give you another advocate to help you and Be with you forever this spirit of truth

[00:46:06] So this is something every single day I think about this verse in this You know I'm commands and I'm not obey and I'm not fulfilling and I know It's just that much more of a rift between my relationship with the father

[00:46:26] He's saying I'm the father of one, you know, so how many commands did Jesus give The war authority commandments from the father, you know, telling people to love themselves and What their neighbors as much as themselves as the first and only commandments to love God

[00:46:43] And love ourselves as much as we live our neighbors And then he's telling us how are you gonna accomplish it? I will ask the father and he will be able to do another advocate to help you be with you forever

[00:46:56] That spirit of truth in the Holy Spirit is going to come in and dwell inside you The megaphone that I was talking about where your conscience is now on You know steroids is going to cause you to

[00:47:13] Be uneasy when you're not walking and God's ways the Holy Spirit will connect you it will connect other people When you're dealing with Relationships things like that is important to just pray for those relationships and not try to do

[00:47:30] Much of anything in your own power because it's the Holy Spirit that you say is the Holy Spirit who can digs We're not going to convey anyone because where the hypocrite is trying to tell them something They don't want here especially the world

[00:47:45] It's all about God it's all about the spirit so he's saying we're not going to be on our own here Ultimately you know The message of the gospel is we can't keep the commandments we're incapable of doing it apart from God

[00:48:05] Our hearts one with they want and it's not what God wants So the Holy Spirit is key to to receive him and just ask for the guidance and I just challenge anybody Go through that process and it's not I'm saying up right here

[00:48:21] I'm it's not I'm gonna ask Jesus to come in to my heart It's being completely honest with God at day. I don't know you or if you think you know him and you don't think

[00:48:31] You know it's the way it should be say God show me and send your Holy Spirit to just guide me and he Will cause you to do his will and says no so how much free will do we have an actual there's verses that say God

[00:48:46] We'll put a new heart and you and he will cause you Take what is good in right so Well free will thing you know you can't really say we have complete free will

[00:48:57] On that aspect as going to accomplish what you want to accomplish and if you asked for it, you're gonna get it So get ready ready for it And my completely blow your mind um

[00:49:13] And then this is this is probably where I'm gonna end right here. It's Jesus again teaching Matthew 22 verse 36 the 40 Teacher which is the greatest commandment in the law Jesus replied love the Lord your God which is the first commandment of the tank commandment

[00:49:36] Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind This is the first and greatest commandment and the second is like it Love your neighbor as yourself All the law and the prop is hang on these two commandments

[00:49:56] And that's pretty heavy to me he's telling them You need this is what God desires most of all because everything else hangs on these two and I'll explain that in a second He's saying you know for these people they were raised and the Jewish faith in the

[00:50:16] Red, the Torah and the Old Testament and the prophets they knew all these things since for it It can recite Leviticus from heart, you know they studied that that Illigently so he's not telling him something they haven't already read

[00:50:30] It's just the Holy Spirit is going to convey them to say oh this is something different here But that's your doubts. Oh my god, you're mine. This is the first and greatest command

[00:50:45] I'm sure a lot of them right here. I think I've been doing that you know I've been doing this since my youth But then the whole other kicker here which they probably wish he never said And the second is like it love your neighbor as yourself

[00:51:01] Although on the prophets hang on these two commandments You know you only asked what's the greatest commandment in Jesus one of them and said hey this one but also this is the second one And to love our neighbors and to love them as much as we love ourselves

[00:51:18] Because we love ourselves way too much I think some people struggle to even love themselves also So you're never gonna get to that point of living others on the next something you have to take up with God to change your heart on

[00:51:34] But so he won up so many says the second he's like oh I don't he has for the greatest one, you know You know love the neighbor as yourself But saying all the lot the prophets hang on these two commandments is

[00:51:51] Is Italy telling us this is a point of life. This is the meaning of life because if you don't love God with all your heart Part of your heart is somewhere else You know what it says where your heart is there your treasure will be also

[00:52:08] So fear heart is anywhere in the world or with someone in the world and You're not fully loving the Lord According to his command to um All the lot in the prophets the law

[00:52:23] Being if you're not loving God and you're not loving others and showing that love then you should you're leaving room for Send to creep it's way in and at the feet and all the things that are gonna tear you away from this half of righteousness

[00:52:39] Where you're breaking the laws You know you're you're quite questioning the prophets because You know you don't have that love from God and I think this is this is just the culmination on this message it is that

[00:52:55] You know if you don't love others you're in a kind of cheetom You know you're gonna cheat on You might lie to them

[00:53:02] If you don't love yourself you're in a light of yourself. You're gonna ask others to lie to you back and tell you something that's not true And that's all just go around and a big circle of lying and pretend like something isn't wrong here

[00:53:15] And if we actually look one another we would tell each other the truth About everything and Think it's all when he says it all hangs on these two commandments as what he's talking about My steal from somebody who you don't care for

[00:53:32] But Jesus has called us to love those who don't have any love for us or the father That's the ultimate The old and where the rubber meets the road is are you going to take that step Through the hell of the Holy Spirit and with God

[00:53:50] Changing your heart to actually be Jesus to others and Forgive others Transgressions and just like a Miller's prayer when you need to sit You know for you thus for our transgressions as we forgive those who transgress against us Unicking a point to say

[00:54:14] We have to forgive others or we're not going there. See that forgiveness from God, you know as we're also trying to forgive And not hold on to present me towards others Please forgive us for our transgressions

[00:54:27] Because they can just cut that out too and say forgive us for our transgressions And give us this day our daily bread. Yeah, that sounds good no it was important to say as we are also for giving one another Forgive us so I Think that
