Hey friends, and welcome back to the Christian Homeschool Mom's Podcast. And I'm Demitria, your host, a veteran homeschool mom of two. One daughter is already off on her own journey and the others preparing for college, life and beyond. So after over a decade of homeschooling, I've stepped into a new season of supporting families as a tutor, a piano teacher, music instructor, and I also run a boutique podcast agency called Soul Podcasting Collective, where we help creatives edit and launch their shows and grow their message with confidence. So this podcast has always been for you, whether you're homeschooling full time, or navigating traditional school or choosing a hybrid path. My heart has been to walk alongside intentional parents of faith who are advocating for their children's academic and personal growth. But today's episode is just a little bit different. I want to share that the Christian Homeschool Mom's Podcast is going on a much needed break. I'm not putting a timeline on it, and I'm not calling it a permanent goodbye, but I am listening closely to what this current season is asking of me. So after one hundred and eighty three episodes, and years and years of conversations and encouragement and interviews and prayers woven into this space. I feel a deep peace in saying this that I believe the bulk of my work here at Christian Homeschool Moms has been done. And every year I felt a nudge to slow this podcast down, but each time it wasn't quite the right moment, But now it is. So as we move into twenty twenty six, I'm placing much of my creative and professional energy into our family business, Sole Podcasting Collective, where I support podcasters, especially women, with clarity, confidence and purpose. At the same time, I'm also stepping into a very personal transition because over the next few months, I'll be helping to launch my youngest daughter into college. And as many of you know, that kind of transition deserves presence and rest and a lot of margin. So I'm giving myself permission to slow down on that and to honor this family season and to explore new territory that I believe the Lord has been quietly preparing me for. So here's what I hope for you that homeschool parents and mom's of faith, whether you're new here or you've been listening for years, that you'll continue to glean encouragement from all the episodes in this archive one hundred and eighty three so far, and the conversations here. They don't expire, I don't think so. I don't think that anything here will age out. I believe that faith centered encouragement is still very much alive no matter what time you listen to it. And just so you know, I may still pop in from time to time with a surprise episode or an interview with a friend, so don't totally tune out. But if you'd like to continue following my journey, especially as I step into midlife life after raising kids, creativity, faith, and whatever comes next, I'd love for you to join me over on YouTube. My YouTube channel for a lot of you who have been listening for a while and know that I have been posting homeschool videos there. It's called mom zestmom Zest. But this channel is going through a change as always, I'm always changing and transitioning, so you can find the link in the show notes, and I encourage you to subscribe if that season of life midlife resonates with you in many ways, it kind of feels like an extension of this podcast, but just through a different lens. So it's not me showing up as a homeschool advisor or coach, but me more or less sharing my life with you as I enter midlife and just kind of really being personal about what I'm going through right now. So if you're a podcaster, or if you're a creative or someone with a message on your heart, you can also follow my work at soul podcasting dot com. So again, thank you so much for listening all these years, and for those of you who are new, welcome to the podcast, but be prepared for slowing down of my episodes. And thank you so much for listening and for trusting me all of these years with your ears and your heart, and for allowing this podcast to be a part of your homeschooling journey. I'm really deeply grateful for every single download, every message, every season that we walked through together. This isn't exactly goodbye for the podcast. It's a pause. If you're on my mailing list, you'll still hear from me on occasion. So I believe this is just a deep breath, a pause, and a faithful step into what's next for us, and until we meet again, be encouraged, stay rooted, and keep walking forward with grace, happy homeschooling
