[00:00:49] [SPEAKER_00]: dividing the Word of Truth and learning how to apply it to our daily lives.

[00:00:55] [SPEAKER_00]: You may contact Elgin at the address given at the end of the broadcast.

[00:01:00] [SPEAKER_00]: And now here's Elgin.

[00:01:02] [SPEAKER_01]: President Sisters, I welcome you in the name of our risen Savior, Jesus the Christ, to

[00:01:09] [SPEAKER_01]: another episode of The Bible Speaks where we dive into Scripture to discover the powerful

[00:01:14] [SPEAKER_01]: truths God has for our lives.

[00:01:18] [SPEAKER_01]: In today's episode, I want to address all of you who feel you aren't built for the

[00:01:24] [SPEAKER_01]: purpose God has on your life.

[00:01:27] [SPEAKER_01]: Our topic today is the question.

[00:01:30] [SPEAKER_01]: Who?

[00:01:30] [SPEAKER_01]: Me?

[00:01:33] [SPEAKER_01]: Our inspiration comes from Ephesians 2 verse 10 and reading from the New Living's translation,

[00:01:41] [SPEAKER_01]: it reads,

[00:01:43] [SPEAKER_01]: For we are God's masterpiece.

[00:01:45] [SPEAKER_01]: He has created us anew in Christ Jesus so we can do the good things he planned for

[00:01:52] [SPEAKER_01]: us long ago.

[00:01:55] [SPEAKER_01]: We'll be talking about how God knew exactly who you were before he even called you to this

[00:02:02] [SPEAKER_01]: earth.

[00:02:03] [SPEAKER_01]: He made you just the way he needed you to be and we should stop waiting for something

[00:02:08] [SPEAKER_01]: extraordinary to happen in our lives before we step into God's will.

[00:02:14] [SPEAKER_01]: The first thing to understand is that you are God's masterpiece.

[00:02:19] [SPEAKER_01]: Think about that for a moment.

[00:02:22] [SPEAKER_01]: Before you were even born, God had a vision of who you would be and the purpose you would

[00:02:28] [SPEAKER_01]: fulfill.

[00:02:30] [SPEAKER_01]: Sometimes we feel like we aren't special enough or talented enough to make a difference,

[00:02:35] [SPEAKER_01]: but that's not how God sees you.

[00:02:38] [SPEAKER_01]: Ephesians 2 and 10 tells us that we are his masterpiece, carefully crafted with specific

[00:02:45] [SPEAKER_01]: gifts, talents and abilities that fit perfectly into his plan.

[00:02:51] [SPEAKER_01]: When we think about the word masterpiece it implies intention, care and purpose.

[00:02:59] [SPEAKER_01]: God didn't make a mistake when he made you.

[00:03:02] [SPEAKER_01]: He didn't leave anything out.

[00:03:04] [SPEAKER_01]: He didn't give you the wrong personality or talents, you're exactly the person

[00:03:10] [SPEAKER_01]: God needed for the purpose he called you.

[00:03:13] [SPEAKER_01]: We often think that in order to step into God's will something miraculous or

[00:03:18] [SPEAKER_01]: extraordinary has to happen first.

[00:03:21] [SPEAKER_01]: We wait for the perfect moment, a sign from heaven or some major transformation.

[00:03:28] [SPEAKER_01]: But here's the truth.

[00:03:31] [SPEAKER_01]: God has already given you everything you need to accomplish his will.

[00:03:36] [SPEAKER_01]: You don't have to be someone else or wait for some dramatic change.

[00:03:41] [SPEAKER_01]: The person you are right now is who God wants to use.

[00:03:47] [SPEAKER_01]: Sometimes we fall into the trap of comparison, thinking we need to be more

[00:03:52] [SPEAKER_01]: like someone else in order to fulfill our calling.

[00:03:56] [SPEAKER_01]: But that's not what God desires.

[00:03:59] [SPEAKER_01]: He made you uniquely you for a reason.

[00:04:03] [SPEAKER_01]: In Jeremiah one in five, God says before I formed you in the womb, I knew you.

[00:04:10] [SPEAKER_01]: Before you were born, I set you apart.

[00:04:13] [SPEAKER_01]: This means God already knew who you were and what you would do long before you

[00:04:20] [SPEAKER_01]: were even born.

[00:04:21] [SPEAKER_01]: You don't have to change into someone else to be effective for God's kingdom.

[00:04:26] [SPEAKER_01]: You just need to trust that he made you perfect for his plan.

[00:04:30] [SPEAKER_01]: Instead of looking for something extraordinary to happen in order to

[00:04:34] [SPEAKER_01]: fill God's purpose, start embracing who you are right now.

[00:04:39] [SPEAKER_01]: The things that make you unique, your personality, your background,

[00:04:45] [SPEAKER_01]: your life experiences are all part of God's plan for your life.

[00:04:50] [SPEAKER_01]: In the story of Moses, God didn't need Moses to become someone else before

[00:04:54] [SPEAKER_01]: he used him.

[00:04:56] [SPEAKER_01]: In fact, when Moses doubted his ability to lead, God reminded him that

[00:05:01] [SPEAKER_01]: he made him exactly as he needed to be.

[00:05:04] [SPEAKER_01]: In Exodus four, verse 11, reading from the new international version,

[00:05:10] [SPEAKER_01]: it reads, the Lord said to him, who gave human being their mouths?

[00:05:15] [SPEAKER_01]: Who makes the death or mute?

[00:05:17] [SPEAKER_01]: Who gives them sight or makes them blind?

[00:05:20] [SPEAKER_01]: Is it not I, the Lord?

[00:05:23] [SPEAKER_01]: God was telling Moses, I made you for this.

[00:05:27] [SPEAKER_01]: And God is telling you the same thing.

[00:05:30] [SPEAKER_01]: He made you for this moment, this purpose.

[00:05:34] [SPEAKER_01]: You don't have to wait for a radical transformation or

[00:05:37] [SPEAKER_01]: some external validation to step into what God has called you to do.

[00:05:42] [SPEAKER_01]: So stop asking, who me?

[00:05:45] [SPEAKER_01]: And start believing that God knew exactly who you were before he called you to

[00:05:49] [SPEAKER_01]: this earth.

[00:05:51] [SPEAKER_01]: Ephesians two and ten tells us that we are God's masterpiece created to do

[00:05:56] [SPEAKER_01]: good works that he planned long ago.

[00:05:59] [SPEAKER_01]: Trust that God has equipped you for the task at hand.

[00:06:03] [SPEAKER_01]: You don't need to be transformed into someone else.

[00:06:07] [SPEAKER_01]: You just need to embrace who you are and step into God's plan with confidence.

[00:06:14] [SPEAKER_01]: Brothers and sisters, I thank you for spending time with me on today.

[00:06:18] [SPEAKER_01]: And I look forward to our conversation on tomorrow.

[00:06:22] [SPEAKER_01]: Until then, God bless.
