[00:01:00] [SPEAKER_00]: And now, here's Elgin.

[00:01:02] [SPEAKER_01]: Brothers and sisters, I welcome you in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit

[00:01:08] [SPEAKER_01]: to another episode of Words of Inspiration, where we explore how God's Word brings life,

[00:01:16] [SPEAKER_01]: freedom, and direction to our everyday lives.

[00:01:20] [SPEAKER_01]: And today's episode, we're going to have a conversation on a very familiar passage.

[00:01:28] [SPEAKER_01]: The truth shall make you free.

[00:01:33] [SPEAKER_01]: Our inspiration comes from John 8 verse 32 and reading from the New International Version

[00:01:40] [SPEAKER_01]: it reads, Then you will know the truth and the truth will set you free.

[00:01:48] [SPEAKER_01]: In this powerful statement, Jesus is revealing something profound, that true freedom comes

[00:01:54] [SPEAKER_01]: from knowing Him.

[00:01:57] [SPEAKER_01]: So we're going to explore how understanding Jesus as the truth, the way, and the life

[00:02:04] [SPEAKER_01]: leads to a life of freedom and fulfillment.

[00:02:07] [SPEAKER_01]: Jesus isn't just a messenger of truth.

[00:02:10] [SPEAKER_01]: He is the truth.

[00:02:13] [SPEAKER_01]: In John 14 and 6 he declares, I am the way, and the truth, and the life.

[00:02:20] [SPEAKER_01]: No one comes to the Father except through me.

[00:02:24] [SPEAKER_01]: When we come to realize that Jesus is the source of all truth, He changes the way we see everything.

[00:02:31] [SPEAKER_01]: The truth He offers isn't just intellectual knowledge, it's a deep transformative understanding

[00:02:38] [SPEAKER_01]: of who God is and how we relate to Him.

[00:02:42] [SPEAKER_01]: Jesus invites us to know the truth of His love, grace, and purpose for our lives.

[00:02:49] [SPEAKER_01]: This truth is what brings clarity in a world filled with confusion, and it gives us a foundation to stand on.

[00:02:57] [SPEAKER_01]: Knowing Jesus means knowing the truth that God has a plan for our lives and that His truth brings us real freedom.

[00:03:06] [SPEAKER_01]: When we encounter Jesus as the truth, it leads to belief.

[00:03:11] [SPEAKER_01]: But it's more than just believing facts about Him.

[00:03:15] [SPEAKER_01]: It's a belief that transforms our heart.

[00:03:18] [SPEAKER_01]: Romans 10-9 tells us, if you declare with your mouth, Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.

[00:03:31] [SPEAKER_01]: Belief in Jesus as the truth changes everything.

[00:03:36] [SPEAKER_01]: It shifts our perspective, our priorities, and our understanding of life's purpose.

[00:03:43] [SPEAKER_01]: This belief leads us to a new way of living, where we are no longer bound by fear, doubt, or insecurity.

[00:03:52] [SPEAKER_01]: Instead, we live with the confidence that comes from knowing that God's truth is unchanging and that His promises are sure.

[00:04:01] [SPEAKER_01]: Belief in this truth is the foundation for experiencing the freedom that Jesus offers.

[00:04:08] [SPEAKER_01]: When Jesus said, the truth will set you free, he is speaking of the liberation that comes from knowing and believing in him.

[00:04:18] [SPEAKER_01]: This isn't just freedom from external limitations, but from internal chains of sin, guilt, fear, and doubt.

[00:04:29] [SPEAKER_01]: Through Jesus we are free from the power of sin and free to live in alignment with God's will.

[00:04:36] [SPEAKER_01]: True freedom is not the ability to do whatever we want, but the ability to live out God's purpose for our lives without being hindered by the things that hold us back.

[00:04:48] [SPEAKER_01]: Galatians 5 verse 1 says,

[00:04:52] [SPEAKER_01]: It is for freedom that Christ has set us free.

[00:04:56] [SPEAKER_01]: Stand firm then and do not let yourselves be burdened again by a yoke of slavery.

[00:05:02] [SPEAKER_01]: This freedom empowers us to pursue God's will with confidence, knowing that we are no longer enslaved to the things of this world.

[00:05:12] [SPEAKER_01]: As we align ourselves with Jesus and His truth, we experience the freedom to achieve everything that is in His will for us.

[00:05:21] [SPEAKER_01]: Whether it is freedom of fear, insecurity, or pressures of life, Jesus provides the path to true liberation.

[00:05:31] [SPEAKER_01]: So what does it mean to live in this truth?

[00:05:35] [SPEAKER_01]: It means recognizing that Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life.

[00:05:42] [SPEAKER_01]: When we embrace Him, we find the ultimate freedom.

[00:05:46] [SPEAKER_01]: Freedom from sin, from fear, from everything that keeps us from living fully in God's will.

[00:05:54] [SPEAKER_01]: This truth shall make you free, but that truth begins with knowing Jesus.

[00:06:00] [SPEAKER_01]: When you know Him, you know freedom.

[00:06:04] [SPEAKER_01]: Stay rooted in God's truth and walk confidently in the freedom that only He can give.

[00:06:11] [SPEAKER_01]: And as you walk in that truth, you'll find that God's plans for you are far greater than anything you could imagine.

[00:06:20] [SPEAKER_01]: I thank you for spending time with me on today.

[00:06:24] [SPEAKER_01]: I hope you have a wonderful, wonderful weekend.

[00:06:29] [SPEAKER_01]: And I look forward to our conversation on Sunday.

[00:06:32] [SPEAKER_01]: Until then, God bless.
