[00:00:49] rightly dividing the word of truth and learning how to apply it to our daily lives.

[00:00:59] And now here's Elgin.
[00:01:02] Brothers and sisters, I welcome you in the name of our risen Savior, Jesus the Christ,
[00:01:08] to another episode of Words of Inspiration.
[00:01:12] And today, this episode is titled, The Abundant Life.
[00:01:17] And our inspiration comes from Psalm 37 verses 23-24.
[00:01:24] And reading from the New International Version it reads,
[00:01:27] The Lord makes firm the steps of one who delights in Him.
[00:01:32] Though he may stumble, he will not fall.
[00:01:36] For the Lord upholds him with His hand.
[00:01:40] This verse reassures us that God's abundant life is not about perfection.
[00:01:45] It's about walking in His will and trusting His guidance.
[00:01:50] Let's explore how the abundant life unfolds when we live with purpose, serve others,
[00:01:57] and allow God's blessing to flow through us to others.
[00:02:03] First, we must understand that God does not expect us to live perfectly.
[00:02:08] He knows our humanity.
[00:02:10] That we will sometimes stumble, give in to fear, or wrestle with our weakness.
[00:02:17] Romans 8-1 reminds us, Therefore, there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus.
[00:02:26] Because of Jesus, we are free from condemnation.
[00:02:30] This doesn't mean we won't make mistakes.
[00:02:32] But it does mean that God's grace keeps us moving forward.
[00:02:36] The abundant life begins when we stop striving for perfection and start walking in God's purpose,
[00:02:43] trusting that the battle has already been won through Jesus Christ.
[00:02:49] The abundant life isn't about material wealth or personal achievement.
[00:02:54] It's about aligning with God's purpose by pleasing Him and serving others.
[00:03:00] Proverbs 11-25 reads, A generous person will prosper.
[00:03:05] Whoever refreshes others will be refreshed.
[00:03:09] When we adopt a servant's heart, we experience joy and peace that money cannot buy.
[00:03:16] Serving others not only blesses them, but also strengthens our relationship with God.
[00:03:22] 1 Peter 4-10 reads, Each of you should use whatever gift you have received,
[00:03:29] and believe to serve others as faithful stewards of God's grace in its various forms.
[00:03:36] God's purpose for your life will always include using your unique gifts to make a positive impact on those around you.
[00:03:45] God's blessings often extend beyond what we can see.
[00:03:49] Walking in His will brings both visible and invisible rewards.
[00:03:56] Deuteronomy 28-2 reads, All these blessings will come on you and accompany you if you obey the Lord your God.
[00:04:05] When we walk in obedience, God's blessings overflow, not just in finances or health, but in peace, joy, and fulfillment.
[00:04:16] These blessings are meant to uplift us and allow us to uplift others.
[00:04:21] Isaiah 26-3 reads, You will keep in perfect peace those whose minds are steadfast, because they trust in you.
[00:04:31] Perfect peace is one of the greatest gifts of the abundant life.
[00:04:36] It enables us to weather life's storms while we stay focused on God's plan.
[00:04:43] The abundant life isn't just for you.
[00:04:46] It's a testimony to others of who God is.
[00:04:50] When people see the peace and joy that you have, even in challenges, they are drawn to the God you serve.
[00:04:58] Colossians 3-17 reminds us,
[00:05:01] And whatever you do, whether in word or deed, do it all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through Him.
[00:05:12] When your life reflects gratitude and purpose, it points others to Christ.
[00:05:17] Your actions, words, and attitude become a living testimony of God's goodness.
[00:05:24] Philippians 2-15 reads, So that you may become blameless and pure, children of God without fault in the warped and crooked generation.
[00:05:35] Then you will shine among them like stars in the sky.
[00:05:40] By living out the abundant life, you shine brightly in a world that desperately needs hope and truth.
[00:05:46] To live the abundant life, we must stay focused on God's plan, even when the road is unclear or challenging.
[00:05:56] God's timing is perfect, and His promises are sure.
[00:06:01] If you're waiting for an answer or a breakthrough, remain steadfast in faith.
[00:06:07] The abundant life isn't about reaching a destination.
[00:06:10] It's about walking daily with God, trusting His process.
[00:06:16] Brothers and sisters, the abundant life is so much more than material blessings.
[00:06:21] It's about walking in God's purpose with joy, peace, and a heart for serving others.
[00:06:28] When you delight in the Lord and trust Him, He will make your steps firm, as Psalm 37, 23-24 reminds us.
[00:06:39] I thank you for spending time with me on today.
[00:06:42] I hope you have a wonderful weekend.
[00:06:45] And I look forward to our conversation on Sunday.
