[00:01:02] Brothers and Sisters, I welcome you in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit

[00:01:09] to another episode of Words of Inspiration,

[00:01:13] where we are continuing in our series, Guaranteed Victory.

[00:01:19] And in this series, we'll explore how God's promises equips us to face life's challenges with confidence,

[00:01:27] knowing that victory is already ours through Christ.

[00:01:32] Today's episode is titled, Fear Not.

[00:01:37] Our inspiration comes from Deuteronomy chapter 20 verse 4.

[00:01:43] And reading from the New International Version, it reads,

[00:01:47] For the Lord our God is the one who goes with you to fight for you,

[00:01:53] against your enemies to give you victory.

[00:01:57] Let's dive into what it means to live without fear and embrace the truth that,

[00:02:03] with God on our side, our victory is guaranteed.

[00:02:09] Fear is something we all face, especially when life throws us into difficult circumstances.

[00:02:15] But here's the truth.

[00:02:17] As believers, we are never alone.

[00:02:20] God promises to be with us in every battle we face.

[00:02:25] Deuteronomy 20 verse 4 reminds us that God himself goes with us to fight our battles.

[00:02:32] He's not a distant observer.

[00:02:34] He's actively involved in securing our victory.

[00:02:38] But what does that mean for us in practical terms?

[00:02:42] It means that we can face challenges head on, without fear,

[00:02:46] because we have the creator of the universe on our side fighting for us.

[00:02:51] Who or what can stand against us?

[00:02:54] The key to overcoming fear is growing in your faith and trust in God.

[00:03:00] Isaiah 41 and 10 says,

[00:03:03] So do not fear, for I am with you.

[00:03:06] Do not be dismayed, for I am your God.

[00:03:10] I will strengthen you and help you.

[00:03:12] I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.

[00:03:16] As you deepen your relationship with God and trust in his promises, fear begins to lose its grip.

[00:03:24] You start to realize that God's presence is constant, even when life feels overwhelming.

[00:03:31] This journey of faith is about recognizing that God's promises are unshakable

[00:03:36] and he is faithful to fulfill them.

[00:03:41] The more we grow in faith, the more we begin to see that God is working behind the scenes in every situation,

[00:03:48] turning things around for our good.

[00:03:51] One of the most powerful ways to overcome fear is to allow the Holy Spirit to guide you.

[00:03:57] The Holy Spirit gives us wisdom, discernment and strength when we are faced with trials.

[00:04:04] Jesus promised that the Holy Spirit would be our helper, our comforter and our guide.

[00:04:10] For the Spirit God gave us does not make us timid, but gives us power, love and self-discipline.

[00:04:20] When you let the Holy Spirit lead you, you can face challenges with confidence

[00:04:25] because you are not relying on your own strength or understanding.

[00:04:29] Instead, you are relying on God's wisdom and power.

[00:04:33] The Holy Spirit will inspire you with the right words, the right decisions and the courage you need to move forward.

[00:04:41] Here is the most incredible part of all this.

[00:04:44] When you trust in God, when you allow the Holy Spirit to guide you, your victory is guaranteed.

[00:04:52] This doesn't mean that you won't face difficulties.

[00:04:54] It doesn't mean life will be free of challenges, but it does mean that no matter what comes your way,

[00:05:01] you can trust that God is already working it out for your good.

[00:05:07] Romans 8 and 37 tells us,

[00:05:10] No, in all these things, we are more than conquerors through him who loved us.

[00:05:16] You are not just a survivor.

[00:05:18] You are more than a conqueror.

[00:05:20] God has equipped you with everything you need to overcome any challenge.

[00:05:26] And as you grow in faith and rely on the Holy Spirit,

[00:05:30] you will see that God's victory in your life is not just possible, it's guaranteed.

[00:05:36] So how do you start living this out in your daily life?

[00:05:40] Here are a few practical steps.

[00:05:43] Number one, speak God's promises.

[00:05:46] When fear starts to creep in, remind yourself of God's promises.

[00:05:52] Deuteronomy 20 and 4 is a great verse to meditate on when you feel overwhelmed.

[00:05:58] Number two, pray for guidance.

[00:06:01] Ask the Holy Spirit to lead you.

[00:06:03] When you don't know what to do, trust that God will give you the wisdom you need.

[00:06:09] Number three, take small steps of faith.

[00:06:13] Sometimes, overcoming fear is about taking small steps in faith.

[00:06:18] Trusting that God is with you every step you take.

[00:06:23] And finally, surround yourself with encouragement.

[00:06:27] Be around people who will remind you of God's faithfulness.

[00:06:31] Community is a powerful tool to help you stay strong in your faith.

[00:06:44] Brothers and sisters, remember that God goes with you into every battle.

[00:06:49] He is fighting for you and he will give you the victory.
