God doesn’t just call us—He empowers us to accomplish His purpose. Let’s explore what it means to be empowered to do more for God’s Kingdom.

[00:00:37] Welcome to The Bible Speaks with your host Elgin Carelock. The Bible Speaks is a daily

[00:00:44] podcast dedicated to sharing the good news of Jesus Christ, rightly dividing the word

[00:00:50] of truth and learning how to apply it to our daily lives. You may contact Elgin at the address

[00:00:57] given at the end of the broadcast. And now here's Elgin.

[00:01:02] Brothers and Sisters, I welcome you in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the

[00:01:08] Holy Spirit to another episode of Words of Inspiration. And today we're diving into episode 4 of our

[00:01:18] series Be More, Do More with the topic being Empowered to do more. Our inspiration comes from

[00:01:29] Matthew chapter 28 verses 19 through 20 and reading from the New International Version it reads,

[00:01:39] Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and

[00:01:45] of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you.

[00:01:51] And surely I am with you always to the very end of the age. These powerful words known as the Great

[00:02:01] Commission reminds us that we're called to lead spiritual transformation wherever God places us.

[00:02:08] But here's the best part. God doesn't just call us, he empowers us to accomplish his purpose.

[00:02:15] So let's explore what it means to be empowered to do more for God's kingdom.

[00:02:22] Let's start with the foundation of today's discussion, the call.

[00:02:27] Jesus commands his followers to make disciples of all nations, sharing his truth and teachings

[00:02:33] with others to live according to his word. This is not just for pastors, missionaries,

[00:02:40] or church leaders. It's a call for all believers. Matthew 28, 19 through 20 challenges us to step

[00:02:49] out of our comfort zones and engage with the world around us. Wherever God has placed you,

[00:02:56] whether it's your workplace, community, or even your home, you have an opportunity to lead spiritual

[00:03:02] transformation. You are uniquely positioned to bring God's love, truth, and light to those who need it.

[00:03:12] The beauty of the Great Commission is that Jesus doesn't send us out alone. He promises,

[00:03:18] surely I am with you always to the very end of the age. This assurance means that we are never alone

[00:03:26] in our mission. God's presence empowers us in several ways. Number one, in confidence. Knowing that

[00:03:36] God is with us gives us the courage to speak boldly and act with a conviction. Number two, guidance.

[00:03:44] Through the Holy Spirit, God leads us to the right people, places, and opportunities to share his love.

[00:03:51] And finally, strength. When we feel weak or inadequate, God's power sustains us.

[00:03:58] Philippians 4, 13 says, I can do all through him who gives me strength.

[00:04:06] Being empowered to do more doesn't mean you have to travel to another county or start a new ministry.

[00:04:14] It means being faithful to God's purposes wherever you are.

[00:04:19] Here are some practical ways to lead spiritual transformation.

[00:04:23] Be a light in your workplace. Model integrity, kindness, and excellence in all you do.

[00:04:30] Look for opportunities to encourage coworkers to share your faith.

[00:04:35] Serve in your community.

[00:04:38] Volunteer for causes that align with God's heart, such as helping the poor, mentoring youth,

[00:04:44] or advocating for justice.

[00:04:47] Mentor others in faith.

[00:04:51] Discipleship doesn't require a pulpit.

[00:04:53] Invest time in teaching and encouraging someone who is new in their walk with Christ.

[00:05:00] And finally, pray for divine appointment.

[00:05:03] Ask God to open doors for meaningful conversations and opportunities to share the gospel.

[00:05:10] Colossians 3, verses 23 through 24 reminds us,

[00:05:15] Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for human masters,

[00:05:22] since you know that you will receive an inheritance from the Lord as a reward.

[00:05:28] It is the Lord Christ you are serving.

[00:05:32] One of the biggest barriers to doing more is the feeling of inadequacy.

[00:05:37] Maybe you are thinking, I am not qualified, or I do not know enough about the Bible.

[00:05:43] Here is the truth.

[00:05:45] God does not call the equip.

[00:05:47] He equips the called.

[00:05:50] 2 Timothy 1 and 7 says,

[00:05:52] For the spirit God gave us does not make us timid,

[00:05:56] but gives us power, love, and self-discipline.

[00:06:01] God has already given you the tools you need to fulfill his purpose.

[00:06:05] Through his word, the Holy Spirit, and the experiences he brought to you,

[00:06:11] you are equipped to make an impact in the world.

[00:06:16] When we embrace our calling and trust God to empower us, the impact is immeasurable.

[00:06:22] Lives are changed, communities are transformed, and God's kingdom expands.

[00:06:29] But perhaps the greatest impact is the glory it brings to God.

[00:06:34] Ephesians 3 verses 20-21 reminds us,

[00:06:38] Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine,

[00:06:45] according to his power that is at work within us,

[00:06:49] to him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations,

[00:06:55] forever and ever.

[00:06:57] Amen.

[00:06:59] Your obedience to do more isn't just about what you accomplish.

[00:07:03] It's about pointing others to the greatness of God.

[00:07:08] Brothers and sisters, I want to encourage you.

[00:07:11] You are empowered to do more.

[00:07:13] God has called you to lead spiritual transformation wherever he has placed you,

[00:07:19] and he has given you everything you need to succeed.

[00:07:23] Reflect on Matthew 28 verses 19-20 and ask yourself,

[00:07:29] Where has God placed me to make an impact?

[00:07:32] Who can I encourage or disciple today?

[00:07:35] How can I rely on God's power to do more?

[00:07:39] Remember, God's presence is with you every step of the way.

[00:07:43] He will guide you, strengthen you,

[00:07:46] and open doors you'll never imagine possible.

[00:07:50] If today's message has inspired you,

[00:07:53] share it with someone who needs encouragement to step into their calling.

[00:07:58] And as you go through your week,

[00:07:59] remember, you are called and empowered to do more.

[00:08:04] Not for your glory, but for God's.

[00:08:07] So stay faithful, stay inspired,

[00:08:10] and keep making a difference for his kingdom.

[00:08:14] I thank you for spending time with me on today,

[00:08:17] and I look forward to our conversation on tomorrow.

[00:08:20] Until then, God bless.
