[00:00:51] and the power and majesty therein to another episode of Where is the Vince Paration? In my time of preparation each week, I spend time praying and waiting on the Lord for the message for each day. When a Holy Spirit gave me the title of the message for today,
[00:01:10] I was a bit concerned. I didn't know where it would go and what God wanted to say to His people. However, as it began to reveal the message, I was amazed at the direction. So our topic today is what more does Jesus have to do?
[00:01:32] Our spiritual inspiration comes from John chapter 1, verses 1 through 5 and reading from the English standard version it reads, in the beginning was the Word and the Word was with God and the Word was God. He was in the beginning with God. All things were made through Him
[00:01:56] and without Him was not anything made that was made. In Him was life and the life was the light of man, the light shines in the darkness and the darkness has not overcome it. I wasn't concerned at the title because of fear, but because I understand God's sovereignty
[00:02:19] and will deliver whatever He requires but that could be troubling for those on different levels of spiritual maturity. There are times when God brings the message subtly, and other times not so much, but I will always be obedient because I love Him just as I love you.
[00:02:38] As we look at our spiritual texts, it is very careful to make sure we understand that Jesus was there at the foundation of our world. We most commonly refer to the Son of God by His human name,
[00:02:52] Jesus, but in heaven He is called the Word. The reference for that is verse 14 of John 1, which reads, and the Word was made flesh and well-tomongous, and we beheld His glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth.
[00:03:17] In verse 3 of our texts, it says all things were made through Him and without Him was not anything made that was made. That means as the Father spoke it, it was realized or brought into existence through the Word, which is Jesus, and it works in the
[00:03:39] reverses well. In John 14 and 6, Jesus says unto Him, I am the way, the truth, and the life, no man, come at them to the Father but by me. So everything that was made was made through Him
[00:03:56] and the only way that we can access He who created it all is through Him. Philippians 2 verses 5 through 8 reading from the English-standed version reads, have this mind among yourselves which is yours in Christ Jesus, who though He was in the form of God,
[00:04:19] did not count equality with God a thing to be grasped but emptied Himself by taking the form of a servant, being born in the likeness of men, and being found in human form, He humbled Himself by becoming obedient to the point of death, even death on the cross.
