[00:01:17] So write to us at the address given that the end of the broadcast, or send it to me directly at Audley McLean at aorel.com. Lovely here from you. Today's poem is entitled In the Morning.
[00:01:36] I made God in the morning when my day was at its best and his presence came like sunrise, like a glory in my breast. All day long the presence lingered, all day long he stayed with me. And we sailed with perfect conness or a very troubled sea.
[00:02:00] Other ships were blown and that her other ships were sore distressed. But the winds that seemed to drive them brought to us a peace and rest I met God in the morning.
[00:02:15] When I thought of other mornings, when a king with king remorse of mind, when I too had loose the morings, with the presence left behind. I can identify without conness, let me be it again.
[00:02:33] Then I thought of other mornings, with a king remorse of mind, when I too had loose the morings, with the presence left behind. So I think I know the secret, learn from many a troubled way.
[00:02:51] You must seek God in the morning if you want him through the day. The morning hour can be the best, the best part of the day. Jesus used the morning hour for prayer in Mark's Gospel chapter 1, verse 35, we read these words.
[00:03:12] And in the morning, rising up a great wild before day he went out and departed into a solitary place. And there prayed. Now I know people who wake up and meditate spend long times alone. And sometimes it's not worth the Lord.
[00:03:32] It's with some mumble, jumble, music, and they remain alone. They only share the joy that the presence of the Lord brings. One would think that the Lord didn't need to pray, but here is the record long before dawn.
[00:03:50] He was through to be alone with his father in prayer. How great then is your need in mind? A prayer. A modern booth of the great reformer during his tremendous schedule of preaching and writing and contending for the faith.
[00:04:07] Said this, I cannot get on without three hours of prayer every day. Wow, what would that do for you and me? God make us men and women and boys and girls of prayer. Amen. Words of inspiration with oddly McLean is a ministry of harvest international.
