As human, we often struggle with fully trusting in the Word of God because it transcends our limited understanding. The infinite wisdom, promises, and mysteries of God presented in the Bible can be difficult for our finite minds to grasp. Our experiences, emotions, and the tangible realities of the world around us sometimes clash with the spiritual truths and unseen realities that the Word of God calls us to believe. This can lead to doubt and hesitation, as we try to reconcile the divine with our reasoning.

[00:01:15] As humans, we often struggle with fully trusting in the Word of God because it transcends our limited understanding. The infinite wisdom, promises, and mystery of God presented in the Bible can be difficult for our finite mind to grasp. Our experiences, emotions, and the tangible
[00:01:38] realities of this world sometimes clash with the spiritual truth and unseen realities that the Word of God calls us to believe. This can lead to doubt and hesitation as we try to reconcile the
[00:01:55] divine with our reasoning. So today we are going to have a conversation on the topic of trusting His Word. Our spiritual inspiration comes from Isaiah, chapter 55, verse 11, and reading from the English-standard version, it reads,
[00:02:20] so shall my Word be that goes out from my mouth. It shall not return to me empty, but it shall accomplish that which I purpose and shall succeed in the thing for which I sent it.
[00:02:38] This scripture is telling us that God's Word never fails. We can depend on every word as truth. I'm sure you've heard the saying, God said it, I believe it, that sells it.
[00:02:53] We can truly believe with our whole heart that His Word is true and we can trust His Word. God cannot lie. So He will fulfill what He says with absolutely no doubt. Moreover, the challenges in uncertainties of life can make it hard to hold on to the promises
[00:03:19] that seem distant or incomprehensible. However, it is in these moments of doubt that faith becomes essential. Choosing the trust God's Word even when we don't fully understand allows us to grow spiritually and experience the deeper peace and assurance that comes from relying on
[00:03:42] His wisdom rather than our own. Jeremiah chapter 1, verse 12, reading from the new international version tells us to Lord said to me, you have seen correctly for I am watching to see that my word is fulfilled. This verse reflects God's sovereignty and faithfulness. He is in control of
[00:04:10] history and is faithfully working out His plan according to His will. Believe us contrast that God is faithful to His Word even when circumstances seem uncertain or challenging. The real challenge for us is that of time. We want things to change quickly and can become impatient and irritated
[00:04:36] when things aren't resolved on our schedule. Numbers 23, verse 19 again, reading from the new international version reads, God is not a human that He said, lie. Not a human being that He should
[00:04:54] change His mind. Does He speak and then not act? Does He promise and not fulfill? This is our reassurance of who God is. He is not in the business of making promises that He won't keep.
[00:05:12] But we also have to remember that many of His promises are conditional. Second Chronicles 7, verse 14 reads, if my people which are called by my name shall humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then will I hear from heaven and will forgive
[00:05:38] their sins and will heal their lands. This can be seen as one of the conditions of when He promises to never leave you nor forsake you. Another example is a story of Jonah and the city of Nineveh.
[00:05:58] God's Word to Jonah about Nineveh reflects His deep compassion for even the most wicked of people. Despite Nineveh's reputation for sinfulness, God's desire was not to destroy them but to offer them a chance to repent and turn from their evil ways. This narrative reveals God's mercy
[00:06:19] and His willingness to forgive those who repent as well as His concern for all humanity. This level of love is another reason why we should trust in God's Word. At times it can be difficult to trust in God's Word when things are not going away with hope
[00:06:41] or life be life. It's that these times we can lean on Scripture to encourage us to hold on a little longer to keep our heads up and know that God will work it out for our good. Brothers and sisters,
[00:06:59] if you're feeling overwhelmed by a situation there's nothing wrong with praying Scripture and reminding God of His promises. It can help us know the truth of His Word and be confident that
[00:07:13] He will fulfill His Word. Since He said His Word will accomplish what He sent it out to do then petitioning Him using those very words shows Him that we are studying the Word and leaning
[00:07:30] on the Word for our deliverance. I thank you for spending time with me on today. I hope you have a wonderful weekend and I look forward to our conversation on Sunday. Until then God bless. The Bible speaks dispossessed by sea-squared reality and new gen construction group to help
