[00:00:00] We're the spray friends together on our knees, let us pray friends together on our knees. And I fall on my knees with my face to the rise in sun, all over the earth, you see on the knees.

[00:00:27] Welcome to the Bible Speaks with Elgin Carelock. The Bible Speaks is a weekly ministry of harvest international.

[00:00:33] Our prayer is that the Bible Speaks will encourage you in your study of God's Word. You will be able to contact Elgin at the address given at the end of this broadcast. And now, here's Elgin.

[00:00:45] Brothers and sisters, I welcome you in the name of our risen Savior, Jesus Christ, to another episode of Words of Inspiration. And today, we are going to have a discussion on the topic of... Remember God Said Yes.

[00:01:05] Our spiritual inspiration comes from the book of Numbers, chapter 13, verse 30, which reads, Then, Caleb Silence, the people were for Moses and said, We should go up and take possession of the land for we can certainly do it.

[00:01:25] Do we sometimes let other people talk us out of the vision that God gave us, because they believe it's too big or too ambitious? Have we allowed others to put lives on what God can do in our lives? I want you to consider Noah.

[00:01:46] When you consider the Ark was a massive structure that took over 120 years to build, and up until the point when the Ark was finished, it had never rained. The earth was watered by mist from the ground.

[00:02:03] Where would we be now if Noah had listened to the people who I'm sure thought he was crazy and delusional? Numbers 23, verse 19, reading from the New International version tells us, God is not human that he should lie. Not a human being that he should change his mind.

[00:02:26] Does he speak and then not act? Does he promise and not fulfill? Is anything too hard for God? Is there anything you can think of that he's not able to accomplish? Why then do we hesitate when a Holy Spirit gives us a directive that is supernatural?

[00:02:49] God told Joshua in Deuteronomy 11, verse 24, reading from the English Standard version, every place on which the soul of your foot, threads shall be yours. Your territory shall be from the wilderness, to Lebanon and from the river, the river you fray these to the western sea.

[00:03:13] So why did the children of Israel decide to believe the other 10th over Joshua and Caleb? When we fill the grass, guides infinite power, boundless love and unwavering faithfulness, we might approach him without or reluctance, Henry and our ability to fully trust in his promises.

[00:03:37] For instance, if we see God as distant and unconcern with our daily lives, we may not bring our needs and desires to him and prayer, thus missing out on the peace and provision he offers.

[00:03:52] Similarly, if we underestimate his power, we may not believe he can intervene in our challenges and work miracles, leading us to rely solely on our efforts rather than his divine assistance. In essence, a limited understanding of God's capability can stifle our faith,

[00:04:14] causing us to expect less from him and thereby restricting the flow of his blessing into our lives. If Jesus came to give us an abundant life, how does it make sense that we try to tell him what that abundance should look like?

[00:04:31] So how do we keep from living in God in our life? First, when you are inspired by an idea or the unerging in your spirit, make sure that in lines with the word of God,

[00:04:50] if you have to alter anything or only use part of the word, then you know it's not from God. If your inspiration is in line with the word of God, you must believe it. In Matthew 9, verses 28 through 29, we read,

[00:05:09] when he entered the house, the blind man came to him and Jesus said to them, do you believe that I am able to do this? They said to him, yes Lord, that he touched their eyes saying, according to your faith, be it done to you.

[00:05:28] This is a powerful statement. We have to believe it is possible in order for it to be manifested, and no one on earth should be able to change your mind. When someone tries to tell you what God can and can do,

[00:05:43] just remember what it says in Isaiah 55, verses 8 and 9. God tells us, for my thoughts are not your thoughts. Neither are your ways my way, the colors are Lord,

[00:05:56] as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways and my thoughts than your thoughts. Brothers and sisters, the promises of God cover a wide range of aspects, including spiritual blessings, provision, protection, peace, comfort, strength, guidance, and eternal life.

[00:06:20] Trusting in God's promises enables believers to live with confidence, hope and resilience. Knowing that God is true to His Word and fulfill every promise He has made. So when he tells you, yes, the answer is yes.

[00:06:40] I thank you for spending this time with me on today, and I look forward to our conversation on tomorrow. Until then, God bless. This program is cared for by listeners who care. Your prayers and financial investment in this ministry helps to keep the good news on the air.
