[00:00:00] Let us pray, pray together on our knees, let us pray, pray together on our knees And I fall on my knees with my face to the rise in sun, O Lord, O Lord, help us in honor me

[00:00:27] Welcome to Words of Inspiration with your host and teacher, Elgin Carelock. And now let's hear from Elgin. How Finding Fall and It Will, You Given to You. So what is the difference between wisdom as we define it here on earth and Godly wisdom?

[00:01:06] The wisdom that we are most familiar with is defined as the application of knowledge. So our normal process is we get knowledge, we seek understanding and then once we have the understanding, we apply the knowledge which is then called wisdom.

[00:01:23] Godly wisdom involves those same attributes but it's slightly different. So I wanted to share with you some attributes of a person who is using Godly wisdom so that we can try to apply it more in our daily lives.

[00:01:37] Godly wisdom involves viewing life and circumstances from a perspective that aligns with divine truths. It recognizes the importance of seeking guidance from God and understanding life through the lens of his spiritual principles.

[00:01:51] Godly wisdom is more a by humility, acknowledging the limitations of human understanding and relying on God's guidance. It involves a sense of reverence for the sacred and a recognition of God's sovereignty.

[00:02:04] Those with Godly wisdom possess discernment, the ability to make sound judgments and choices based on spiritual insight. It involves understanding a deeper meaning and the implications of a situation from God's perspective.

[00:02:19] Godly wisdom goes beyond near knowledge. It involves the practical application of spiritual truths in our everyday lives. It is expressed through our actions, decisions, interactions with others and it reflects the commitment to living according to God's principles. Godly wisdom seeks solutions that promote peace, justice and reconciliation.

[00:02:39] It strives for resolutions that align with God's desire for harmony and righteousness in human relationships. As we study the Word of God, discuss the Word in Bible study and fellowship with other believers, we gain knowledge of how God moves in our lives and in the lives of others.

[00:02:55] This type of knowledge sharing gives us an opportunity to gain Godly wisdom. This may come in the form of prayers, fasting or petitioning God for answers, but we also must be open to how He delivers an answer.

[00:03:09] Those who possess Godly wisdom have a commitment to ongoing spiritual growth and learning. It involves a continual seeking of God's knowledge and a willingness to be shaped and transformed by spiritual insights.

[00:03:24] So how can we be sure? The key is to pray to God to show you the intentions of your heart and those who are around you.

[00:03:31] His response may come as a feeling of discomfort sometimes because it could involve someone that you have the feelings for or a scenario that you have been in for quite a while.

[00:03:43] It's not in God's will that we have to be prepared to receive the answer that He gives us. And that is the beginning of using wisdom.

[00:03:52] We have all had times when we did things that were against our bad adjustment because it involves someone we cared about or felt a need to protect. When we console God first, the outcomes are much better. In fact, Proverbs 4 verse 5 reads,

[00:04:05] wisdom is the principal thing. Therefore, get wisdom and with all that I get and get understanding. Proverbs and sisters, I wish you all of the joy and all of the peace and all of the fruits of the spirit.

[00:04:17] Until we meet again, God bless you and keep you and man. Words of inspiration with oddly McLean is a ministry of harvest international. You may write to oddly at harvest international, post-Ovus Box 660-90, Ocalaflora da 34478.
