[00:00:50] Hello and welcome from wherever you are, We are so happy that you took this time to spend with us. Today I wanted to discuss with you how much power the Satan actually have
[00:01:03] Reading a Job Chapter 1 verse 6, It says, Now there was a day when the sons of God came to present themselves before the Lord
[00:01:12] And Satan came also among them, And the Lord said unto Satan when it comes down, Then Satan asked you to lower it and said, From going too and fro in the earth and from walking up and down in it
[00:01:24] And we know that this leads to the Lord talking to Satan about Job, And Satan says to the Lord that it is easy for Job to be upright enough standing because there's a hedge around him
[00:01:36] And as I was studying, it made me smile because it let me know that the reason that Satan knew that there was a hedge there is because he was trying to get to Job
[00:01:47] And the Lord's protection didn't allow it. The other thing that came to mind was the Lord didn't ask Satan how did you get here Because he wasn't worried about Satan being an independence because Satan serves a purpose
[00:02:01] And God has no reason to have any fear or Satan or any animosity toward him because he has a purpose that is to help fulfill God's will and to help bring God glory
[00:02:16] And directly we know that Satan doesn't work as an advocate he works as an antagonist but as we grow spiritually
[00:02:26] Then we become a great example for God as we saw with Job. Now did Job complain? Yes, it he get to the point where God had to stop him and say well, Where were you?
[00:02:39] Yes, because he's human but with God with Job did not do, was turn his back and blasted him and lose his faith So we often say that the devil is attacking us
[00:02:53] But when these trials come many times God simply allowed them or if he didn't allow them he looks at the situation and uses it to help us grow It's not the things that we go through in this life, it's the things that we grow through in this life
[00:03:09] And so Satan may intend something or give an idea to someone that does something that causes an effect to us But as long as we have the correct perspective and understanding that all things work to the good of them that love the Lord
[00:03:25] Then we will dig deep and we will pray and we will fast and we'll ask the Lord to show us what we were to gain from this experience
[00:03:33] Because if we were put on the planet to bring God glory then every trial that we go through is not wasted
[00:03:40] It means that he now has the ability to send someone who is heading into that same trial or is in that same trial to you for an opportunity to offer them comfort
[00:03:51] Jesus told us that greater things shall we do and we get to do them every day because it's not greater in a sense of larger than what Jesus Christ accomplished
[00:04:01] But greater in a sense that through the internet we can reach the entire world that we can do in 10 minutes
[00:04:08] What it would take years to do across the globe so brothers and sisters being encouraged and know that he are more than a conqueror and the devil is already defeated Thank you and God bless I've wandered far away from the Nilem coming home
