The peace of God is presented in the Bible as essential for spiritual wellbeing and effective living. It is not merely the absence of conflict but a profound sense of wholeness and contentment that comes from a right relationship with God. This peace is available to all who trust in God and is meant to permeate every aspect of a believer's life, influencing interactions with others and responses to life’s challenges. It’s a peace that sustains, protects, and guides, serving as a testimony of God’s presence and power in a believer’s life.
[00:00:00] Let us break bread together on our knees
[00:00:07] Let us break bread together on our knees
[00:00:14] When I fall on my knees with my face to the rising sun
[00:00:21] Oh Lord, have mercy on me

[00:00:46] Brothers and sisters, I welcome you in the name of our risen Savior Jesus the Christ
[00:00:52] To another episode of Words of Inspiration
[00:00:56] And today, our discussion is on the topic
[00:01:01] No God, KNOW, No Peace
[00:01:06] No God, N-O, No Peace
[00:01:12] And our spiritual inspiration is coming from Colossians 3 verse 15
[00:01:19] Which reads, Let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts
[00:01:25] Since as many, since as members of one body you were called to peace
[00:01:33] To no God is having a relationship that goes beyond mere intellectual understanding
[00:01:40] To include personal experiential knowledge
[00:01:44] This kind of knowledge involves intimacy, commitment and transformation
[00:01:50] To no God implies a experiential understanding that comes from living a life in alignment with his will
[00:01:59] And being guided by the Holy Spirit
[00:02:02] It's about seeing his attributes, his goodness, mercy, sovereignty and love
[00:02:10] Manifested in one's life and in the world around us
[00:02:14] This knowledge often grows through various life experiences including trials
[00:02:20] Which can deepen one's reliance on an understanding of God
[00:02:25] Knowing God also means obeying his commands and submitting to his authority
[00:02:31] In 1 John 2 verses 3 through 4, John writes
[00:02:37] We know that we have come to know him if we keep his commands
[00:02:42] Whosoever says, I know him, but does not do what he commands is a liar
[00:02:49] And the truth is not in that person
[00:02:52] True knowledge of God's results in a life that strives to follow his teachings
[00:02:58] And emulate Christ's example reflecting a heart that is transformed by that relationship
[00:03:05] The Peace of God is presented in the Bible as essential for spiritual well-being and effective living
[00:03:13] It is not merely the absence of conflict, but a profound sense of wholeness and contentment that comes from the right relationship with God

[00:03:44] Serving as a testimony of God's present and powers in our lives
[00:03:50] Philippians 4 verses 6 through 7 is one of the most direct about the peace of God
[00:03:59] It instructs, do not be anxious about anything
[00:04:03] But in every situation by prayer and petition with thanksgiving
[00:04:08] Present your request to God
[00:04:11] And the peace of God which transcends all understanding will guide your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus
[00:04:20] This peace is portrayed as a protective force for both the heart and the mind, shielding us from anxiety and worry
[00:04:30] In John 14 verse 27, before Jesus' crucifixion he spoke to his disciples about peace
[00:04:39] Saying, Peace I leave with you
[00:04:42] My peace I give you
[00:04:44] I do not give you as the world gives
[00:04:48] Do not let your heart be troubled and do not be afraid
[00:04:53] Here the peace of God is described as distinct from any peace the world could offer
[00:05:00] It is a deeper or enduring peace that aims to calm fears and ease troubled hearts
[00:05:06] Highlighting its spiritual and emotional dimensions
[00:05:11] Romans 5 verse 1
[00:05:15] Paul connects peace with the justification by faith through Jesus Christ stating
[00:05:21] Therefore, since we have been justified through faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ
[00:05:30] This peace is foundational to the Christian faith
