[00:00:00] Let us pray, Grant together on our knees. Let us pray, Grant together on our knees.
[00:00:13] When I fall on my knees with my face to the rising sun, O Lord, ever see on me.
[00:00:26] Welcome to Words of Inspiration with your host and teacher, Elgin Carelock.
[00:00:31] Now let's hear from Elgin.
[00:00:33] I was glad when they said unto me, let us go into the house of the Lord.
[00:00:38] Brothers and sisters, I welcome you to this edition of Words of Inspiration as we conclude a discussion that we began on Sunday
[00:00:46] on the three areas that we must be proficient in in order for God to bless us with what we're asking.
[00:00:54] And those three areas were mindset, skill set and toolkit.
[00:00:59] And yesterday we were having a discussion on trusting God and reading the Word of God.
[00:01:05] And we are going to complete our discussion with the final aspect of the building your toolkit, which is continuous improvement.
[00:01:15] First Timothy, chapter 4 verse 15 reads, be diligent in these matters.
[00:01:21] Give yourself wholly to them so that everyone may see your progress.
[00:01:27] One of the greatest things that God brought clarity to in my life was when I had the realization, the true realization that my life wasn't about the things that I attained.
[00:01:41] It wasn't about how much money did I have.
[00:01:44] It's about what I will leave this earth when I leave this earth, what value did I bring into the lives of others?
[00:01:52] Whether it was through inspiration, education, mentoring, it's about what I did with the least of these.
[00:02:02] Did I clone the naked? Did I feed the hungry? Did I give aid to the poor?
[00:02:07] Because Jesus tells us what we have done unto the least of these. We've done unto Him.
[00:02:13] So continuous improvement is our way of showing God that we realized that our lives are to bring Him glory.
[00:02:22] And so as we improve, he can use us in different scenarios, he can use us in greater scenarios.
[00:02:29] He can give us the expansion of our territory that will allow His glory to move across the every place that we go.
[00:02:39] And He will bless us in all of those activities.
[00:02:43] When first Timothy talks about being diligent in these matters, it's about being consistent.
[00:02:50] It's about having a prayer time.
[00:02:53] It's about segregating yourself and sanctifying yourself to be open to the Word of God, the Inspiration of God, and God's use.
[00:03:02] When we give ourselves holy to trusting God and using His words as inspiration and education and motivation to love our brothers as we love ourselves,
[00:03:16] then we show Him that we are willing and since we are here, we know that we are able because we are able to do all things through Christ Jesus who strengthens us.
[00:03:30] So continuous improvement is about expanding our understanding of who God is, expanding our understanding of our skill sets to be useful to God,
[00:03:43] to bless others through the inspiration and the power that He has given us, and to do good in the world.
[00:03:51] And show everyone that who you are and who you represent is the greater path and that they too can be blessed by God simply by adhering to His Word,
[00:04:05] trusting Him and understanding that you are to do great works in this earth, in His name.
[00:04:13] So brothers and sisters, I look forward to our next discussion and until we spend time together again, God bless.
[00:04:21] I have wandered far away from the heart. Now I am coming home.
