Trusting God, even though we don't know His plans for our lives, requires faith and surrender. It involves recognizing that God's wisdom and perspective far surpass our own, and that He is always working for our good.
[00:00:00] We're the spray friends together on our knees, Let us pray friends together on our knees And I fall on my knees with my face to the rise in sun, Oh Lord, we're here to see on the knees

[00:00:45] Brothers and sisters, I welcome you in a name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, to another edition of Words of Inspiration.
[00:00:56] I was listening to a sermon by Pastor Stephen Ferdig, and he was teaching about having faith in God. Even though we do not know what God is playing.
[00:01:09] He used an example of a room falling God into a land that he had, No idea where it was, how his life would be when he got there, and how he would care for those who were with them.
[00:01:21] Doing this sermon, Pastor Ferdig mentioned, three things we can count on when we put our faith in God to deliver our next. And that is what I wanted to discuss today. On the topic of even though The spiritual inspiration comes from Deuteronomy chapter 1 verses 6 through 7A, which reads,
[00:01:50] The Lord our God, spaken to us in horror saying, He have dwelt long enough in this mouth, turn you and take your journey.
[00:02:02] The three things that Pastor Ferdig mentioned that are certain when you allow God to choose your next are, number one, your destination will be different than you pictured.
[00:02:17] Number two, it will take longer than you wanted to. And three, it's bigger than you imagine. In our spiritual texts, the children of Israel have been at Mount Horp for just under a year.
[00:02:35] During this time they've received the 10 commandments and the other laws of Moses built a tab and echo and prepared for their journey to the Promised Land. This period was crucial for establishing their covenant relationship with God and setting the foundations for their identity as his chosen people.
[00:02:57] When God said, you have been here long enough. He was instructing the Israelites to leave Mount Horp and advance towards the Promised Land. This marked the end of a significant period of preparation and the beginning of their journey to possessed the Land promised to their ancestors.
[00:03:17] After we accepted Jesus as our Lord and Savior, there was a time of learning that was foundational to what we understood about God and what He expect from us.
[00:03:28] Although this knowledge is ongoing until the day we see Him face to face, there comes a time when we have enough to begin working in our purpose.
[00:03:39] The first observation is that your destination will be different than you pictured. This can be literal in the sense of God's ability to deliver a solution in any way he sees fit.
[00:03:54] For example, you may ask God for a financial breakthrough for your lawn maintenance business and he delivers a contract for designing interior landscapes for office buildings.
[00:04:08] Our father owns everything and he will deliver a solution that not only fits our needs but is consistent with where he wants us to go. The other side of that is he can deliver in scale we never imagined.
[00:04:23] You ask for a breakthrough for your lawn maintenance business and he gives you a contract to maintain the landscaping for an entire university.
[00:04:32] So we must be prepared for either scenario. Even though we have no idea which will manifest, I am a firm believer that God blesses you with what you have prepared for. You want to be big, you need to be ready for big.
[00:04:50] That is faith on the next level and that also pleases God who wants you to have an abundant life spiritually and naturally. Next, it will take longer than you wanted to. This is the hardest one for me. There are many times our life situations require immediate resolution.
[00:05:13] But we serve the sovereign God who is not bound by our timelines. Psalm 27 verse 14 tells us, Way to the Lord, be of good courage and he shall strengthen that heart. Wait, I say on the Lord.
[00:05:32] It can be challenging to not jump into action when we have an immediate need. I have personally taken things into my own hands in the past and while I've been able to take care of some of the symptoms, it returns because I did not address the underlying problem.
[00:05:50] We have to come to the realization that God's plan is better because he knows the whole story and we need to be prepared to wait on him even though our situation may seem dire.
[00:06:04] The other thing to consider is sometimes it is necessary for you to sacrifice one thing to get the next. Not easy to hear, but reality in some cases. Finally, it's bigger than you imagined. Verse Corinthians 2 verse 9 tells us,
[00:06:25] But as it is written, I have not seen nor ear heard. Either have entered into the heart of man, the things which God has prepared for them that love him. Because we live in a natural world, I think we sometimes forget we serve a supernatural God.
[00:06:44] There are no boundaries. Everything belongs to Him.
[00:06:48] So when we allow Jesus to be Lord of our lives and the Holy Spirit to guide us into a righteous relationship with God that brings Him glory and blesses the lives of others, there is no limit to how He can use you and bless you.
[00:07:06] I have been working on a project to improve the education of underserved youth in my community. We have been diligently developing the curriculum and follow God as He leads us.
[00:07:19] The scope of this project has now grown to where it may be something that has global significance on how to create opportunity for those who have lost hope.
[00:07:29] There was no way we could have seen that coming, but God was not surprised and probably intended to scope from the very beginning. Brothers and sisters, trusting God even though we don't know His plans for our lives requires faith and surrender.
[00:07:48] It involves recognizing that God's wisdom and perspective far surpasses our own, and that He is always working for our good. Embracing this trust means living each day with confidence in God's guidance, being patient and uncertainty and remaining steadfast in our faith.
[00:08:07] Knowing that He holds our future and will lead us on the right path. I thank you for spending time with me on today, and I look forward to our conversation on tomorrow. Until then, God bless. I've wandered away.
