[00:00:46] Brothers and sisters, I welcome you in the name of our risen Savior, Jesus the Christ

[00:00:52] To another episode of Words of Inspiration

[00:00:57] And today we are going to discuss Dunamis Power

[00:01:02] And our scriptural inspiration comes from Luke, chapter 24 verse 49

[00:01:10] Which reads

[00:01:12] And behold, I send the promise of my Father upon you

[00:01:17] But tarry ye in the city of Jerusalem until ye be endued with power from on high

[00:01:26] The Greek word dunamis derives from the root word duname, which means to be able or to have power

[00:01:36] Most significantly, dunamis represents the kind of power that is inherent

[00:01:42] The first step flows from a person, granting them the ability to perform supernatural acts

[00:01:49] These acts include miracles or morally excellent deeds

[00:01:55] This inherent power is not limited to Jesus alone

[00:01:59] It can also be ours through faith in Him

[00:02:03] As believers, we can wield dunamis power by aligning our hearts with God's purposes

[00:02:10] Praying fervently and stepping out in faith to impact the world around us

[00:02:16] In John 14-12, reading from the New International Version

[00:02:22] Jesus tells the disciples, very truly I tell you

[00:02:27] Whoever believes in me will do the works I have been doing

[00:02:31] And they will do even greater things than these, because I am going to the Father

[00:02:37] Jesus is explaining that He must leave them as an external source

[00:02:43] So that the internal source, the Holy Spirit can come

[00:02:47] And through the Holy Spirit leading us, we will be able to do greater things

[00:02:53] Meaning our ability to fulfill the purposes of the Father

[00:02:57] Will be greater because we have the Holy Spirit dwelling in us

[00:03:02] Who has access to the mind of God

[00:03:06] Can you imagine the impact and influence the church

[00:03:10] And each of us could have if we truly allowed the Holy Spirit to lead our lives?

[00:03:15] Believers can use the dunamis power of the Holy Spirit to improve the lives of others

[00:03:24] By actively engaging in acts of service and compassion

[00:03:28] This dynamic and miraculous power allows them to perform works that go beyond natural human abilities

[00:03:36] Such as healing the sick, offering prophetic insights

[00:03:41] And providing supernatural comfort to those in distress

[00:03:46] By praying for others and allowing the Holy Spirit to work through us

[00:03:51] Believers can bring physical and emotional healing, break spiritual strongholds

[00:03:57] And offer hope in seemingly hopeless situations

[00:04:01] Our actions driven by the power of the Holy Spirit can transform lives

[00:04:07] Restore broken relationships and bring about positive change in our communities

[00:04:12] Additionally, we can harness the dunamis power to advocate for justice and righteousness

[00:04:21] Guided by the Holy Spirit, we can stand against social injustices

[00:04:26] Support the marginalized and fight for the oppressed

[00:04:30] Through spirit-led initiatives such as community outreach programs, educational endeavors, and charitable activities

[00:04:39] We can address the practical needs of those around us

[00:04:44] Brothers and sisters, the wisdom and boldness imparted by the Holy Spirit

[00:04:49] Empowers us to speak truth with power and influence into the societal structures of the marketplace and our communities

[00:05:00] By embodying the love and power of the Holy Spirit, believers can create an environment where God's kingdom values of love, peace, and justice are evident and transformative
