We cannot expect God to put us in the right room, give us favor with its host, and close the deal. If He did that, what is faith and trust for? We bring God glory when we rely on Him through our relationship with Jesus and the Holy Spirit, study to show ourselves approve, surround ourselves with people who have been where we want to go, and seek wise counsel for things we are unsure of.

[00:00:45] Brothers and sisters, I welcome you in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit to another episode of Words of Inspiration. And today we are going to be speaking on the subject of Are You Ready.
[00:01:04] Our spiritual aspiration comes from the Corinthians chapter 2, verse 9, which reads, I has not seen nor ear heard nor have entered into the heart of man, the things which God has prepared for those who love him.
[00:01:25] We often ask God to increase our territories where to give us next level blessings. But what are we doing to be able to handle those blessings? A good example of what I mean, a good example of what I'm talking about is the people who purchase lottery tickets.
[00:01:47] How much preparation have they made for being multimillionaires? Maybe that's why the average winner is broke within five years no matter how much money they want.
[00:02:00] I'm reminded of a story I once heard from a preacher regarding a town that was experiencing a drought. The people gathered together in the square for a town prayer for rain.
[00:02:12] Everyone was there and ready to pray when an elderly woman showed up in a raincoat and boots. She came expecting God to deliver the miracle and was prepared to receive it.
[00:02:27] When we ask God for increase of any kind, whether it be health, finance, employment or our families, when we ask God for increase of any kind, whether it be health, finance, employment,
[00:02:42] or our families. What we should be doing is showing God that we not only believe that he is able, but we are prepared for all that comes with what we ask. Ephesians 2 and 10 reading from the New International version reads,
[00:03:02] For we are God's handy work created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.
[00:03:13] For me this verse is saying that we have been given everything we need to accomplish God's will, but as we accomplish one level, we must begin preparing for the next.
[00:03:24] When we don't, we tend to stand the same state for long periods of time. Some refer to it as feeling stuck. It's not that you are stuck. It's you have maximized the season that you are in and have to grow in order to reach the next.
[00:03:43] In some cases, if God has a specific purpose that you are to fulfill and you're not willing to grow from an inspiration, he will allow trials to come that will force the growth in order for you to get out of the situation.
[00:04:01] What example of proper preparation that was not proactive is David. David was told he would be king at age 16, but did not become king until age 30. In the years between he fought a giant and spent many years running from king's soul who was trying to kill him.
[00:04:25] I'm sure there were times when David was wondering what was going on because he was told that he would be king, but his life did not reflect that reality.
[00:04:35] But it was those years that prepared him for being king teaching him to overcome huge obstacles, but remain faithful to God's teaching. So what should you do to prepare yourself? If you're asking God for financial breakthrough, start watching videos and reading books on wealth management.
[00:04:56] I asked the Lord to give me right now blessing ability. Meaning when I hear someone in need, I can use my impact influence and income to do something about it right now.
[00:05:09] After my request, the Lord began putting me in rooms with people who could make that level of financial growth possible. But it is my responsibility to learn everything I can to be ready for the opportunity God has already planned for me by putting me in those rooms.
