[00:00:42] [SPEAKER_00]: The Bible Speaks is a daily podcast dedicated to sharing the good news of Jesus Christ, rightly

[00:00:49] [SPEAKER_00]: dividing the word of truth and learning how to apply it to our daily lives.

[00:00:55] [SPEAKER_00]: You may contact Elgin at the address given at the end of the broadcast.

[00:01:00] [SPEAKER_00]: And now, here's Elgin.

[00:01:03] [SPEAKER_01]: Brothers and sisters, I welcome you in the name of our risen Savior, Jesus the Christ,

[00:01:09] [SPEAKER_01]: to another edition of The Bible Speaks on Business, where we explore how Biblical principles

[00:01:15] [SPEAKER_01]: can guide and transform the way we approach our work and leadership.

[00:01:22] [SPEAKER_01]: Today's topic is Building Business Disciples.

[00:01:27] [SPEAKER_01]: We'll be discussing how business owners can empower their teams to increase company brand

[00:01:32] [SPEAKER_01]: awareness and loyalty using the Great Commission in Matthew 28 as our inspiration.

[00:01:41] [SPEAKER_01]: In Matthew 28 verses 19 through 20, Jesus gives His disciples what we know as the Great Commission.

[00:01:51] [SPEAKER_01]: Therefore, go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father,

[00:01:58] [SPEAKER_01]: and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded

[00:02:04] [SPEAKER_01]: you.

[00:02:05] [SPEAKER_01]: And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.

[00:02:10] [SPEAKER_01]: At first glance, this might seem purely spiritual, but there's a powerful principle

[00:02:16] [SPEAKER_01]: here that applies directly to the world of business.

[00:02:20] [SPEAKER_01]: Just as Jesus empowered His disciples to go out and spread His teachings, business owners

[00:02:26] [SPEAKER_01]: can empower their team to become ambassadors for the company, spreading brand awareness

[00:02:32] [SPEAKER_01]: and building loyalty.

[00:02:35] [SPEAKER_01]: Jesus just didn't send His disciples out with a vague idea of what to do.

[00:02:40] [SPEAKER_01]: He trained them, lived alongside them, and shared a clear vision for what He wanted to

[00:02:46] [SPEAKER_01]: accomplish.

[00:02:48] [SPEAKER_01]: Similarly, business owners must invest in training their employees and providing them

[00:02:53] [SPEAKER_01]: with a clear understanding of the company's mission and values.

[00:02:58] [SPEAKER_01]: When employees understand the vision and purpose of a company, they are more likely

[00:03:03] [SPEAKER_01]: to take ownership of their roles and represent the brand with enthusiasm and integrity.

[00:03:10] [SPEAKER_01]: This starts with clear communication from leadership, but it also involves ongoing

[00:03:15] [SPEAKER_01]: training and development.

[00:03:17] [SPEAKER_01]: Just as the disciples were equipped to teach and baptize, employees need to be equipped

[00:03:22] [SPEAKER_01]: to represent a brand effectively, whether they're interacting with customers, clients,

[00:03:29] [SPEAKER_01]: or in the community.

[00:03:30] [SPEAKER_01]: The Great Commission wasn't just about spreading a message, it was about creating disciples,

[00:03:38] [SPEAKER_01]: people who would carry forward the mission and passion and commitment.

[00:03:42] [SPEAKER_01]: In business, this translates to creating a culture where employees feel a sense of

[00:03:47] [SPEAKER_01]: ownership over the brand.

[00:03:50] [SPEAKER_01]: When team members are treated as vital parts of the company's mission, they're

[00:03:54] [SPEAKER_01]: more likely to act as ambassadors for the brand.

[00:03:58] [SPEAKER_01]: This means involving them in decision-making processes, recognizing their

[00:04:02] [SPEAKER_01]: contributions, and encouraging them to share their ideas.

[00:04:07] [SPEAKER_01]: When employees feel valued and empowered, they're more likely to speak positively

[00:04:12] [SPEAKER_01]: about the company, both inside and outside of work, which naturally

[00:04:18] [SPEAKER_01]: leads to increased brand awareness and loyalty.

[00:04:22] [SPEAKER_01]: Brand loyalty is built when customers have consistent, positive experience with

[00:04:28] [SPEAKER_01]: the company.

[00:04:29] [SPEAKER_01]: Empowered employees who understand and believe in a company's mission are the

[00:04:34] [SPEAKER_01]: key to delivering those experiences.

[00:04:37] [SPEAKER_01]: They become the face of the brand, and their enthusiasm and commitment can

[00:04:42] [SPEAKER_01]: be contagious.

[00:04:44] [SPEAKER_01]: Just as Jesus promised his disciples that he would be with them always,

[00:04:49] [SPEAKER_01]: business owners must support their teams, providing the resources and

[00:04:53] [SPEAKER_01]: encouragement they need to succeed.

[00:04:56] [SPEAKER_01]: This ongoing support helps maintain motivation and ensures that employees

[00:05:00] [SPEAKER_01]: continue to represent the brand effectively over time.

[00:05:05] [SPEAKER_01]: Empowered employees are more likely to go the extra mile, provide exceptional

[00:05:10] [SPEAKER_01]: service, and build strong relationships with customers, each of which

[00:05:15] [SPEAKER_01]: contributes to a long-term brand loyalty.

[00:05:19] [SPEAKER_01]: Brothers and sisters, the concept of building business disciples might sound

[00:05:25] [SPEAKER_01]: unconventional, but it's rooted in the biblical principle of empowerment and

[00:05:29] [SPEAKER_01]: mission.

[00:05:31] [SPEAKER_01]: Just as Jesus empowered his disciples to spread his message, business

[00:05:35] [SPEAKER_01]: owners can empower their team members to spread the brand's message

[00:05:39] [SPEAKER_01]: and values.

[00:05:41] [SPEAKER_01]: By investing in training, creating a culture of ownership, and providing

[00:05:46] [SPEAKER_01]: ongoing support, you can build a team of brand ambassadors who are passionate

[00:05:51] [SPEAKER_01]: about their work and committed to the company's success.

[00:05:55] [SPEAKER_01]: This not only increases brand awareness but also fosters loyalty that

[00:06:00] [SPEAKER_01]: will benefit your business for years to come.

[00:06:04] [SPEAKER_01]: I thank you for spending time with me on today, and I look forward to

[00:06:09] [SPEAKER_01]: our conversation on tomorrow. Until then, God bless.
