[00:03:21] [SPEAKER_00]: You can't live the life you want thinking the way that you do and that's true for most
[00:03:26] [SPEAKER_00]: entrepreneurs and people in general.
[00:03:29] [SPEAKER_00]: You can't live the life you want thinking the way that you do.
[00:03:33] [SPEAKER_00]: So we're going to discuss and dissect how to create an elite entrepreneurial mindset.
[00:03:39] [SPEAKER_00]: An elite entrepreneurial mindset is a mindset guys that's designed for entrepreneurial success.
[00:03:45] [SPEAKER_00]: So we're going to talk about that and I'm going to give you seven tips on how to be
[00:03:50] [SPEAKER_00]: able to create that elite entrepreneurial mindset.
[00:03:54] [SPEAKER_00]: So when you change your mindset you change your money.
[00:03:58] [SPEAKER_00]: And here's the definition of mindset a habitual or characteristic mental attitude that determines
[00:04:05] [SPEAKER_00]: how you will interpret and respond to situations.
[00:04:18] [SPEAKER_00]: Okay so mindset change.
[00:04:21] [SPEAKER_00]: I'm going to tell you a quick story before we get into all the deep content but it's
[00:04:26] [SPEAKER_00]: funny when we talk about mindset entrepreneurs we're built differently.
[00:04:30] [SPEAKER_00]: So our mindset is totally different from what I call civilians or people that work nine
[00:04:36] [SPEAKER_00]: to five with no aspirations of being an entrepreneur.
[00:04:39] [SPEAKER_00]: And that's what my wife is.
[00:04:40] [SPEAKER_00]: She has side hustles here and there but she never really aspired or aspires to be an entrepreneur.
[00:04:48] [SPEAKER_00]: And so we're watching TV the other day and there was a commercial for California you
[00:04:53] [SPEAKER_00]: know moving to California some stuff.
[00:04:55] [SPEAKER_00]: And if you've listened to the podcast for any period of time you guys know I love L.A.
[00:05:00] [SPEAKER_00]: So I told my wife several years ago you know I think I want to buy a condo in L.A. because
[00:05:07] [SPEAKER_00]: I love to spend the summertime out there right now.
[00:05:09] [SPEAKER_00]: I like to change the seasons in the northeast.
[00:05:12] [SPEAKER_00]: I like fall and I like winter.
[00:05:14] [SPEAKER_00]: So I probably spent spring and summer out in the L.A. area.
[00:05:18] [SPEAKER_00]: And she says to me all the time what idiot wants to retire or go out to California one
[00:05:25] [SPEAKER_00]: of the highest costs of living you know in the country.
[00:05:28] [SPEAKER_00]: And for me it's all about the mindset right.
[00:05:32] [SPEAKER_00]: So if you have the mindset that that's not possible then guess what.
[00:05:36] [SPEAKER_00]: It's not going to be possible.
[00:05:38] [SPEAKER_00]: And that's why we have to develop that entrepreneurial mindset where we believe that things are possible.
[00:05:45] [SPEAKER_00]: And that's why we're built differently from most other types of people because we believe.
[00:05:51] [SPEAKER_00]: And so you never let those dreams die.
[00:05:54] [SPEAKER_00]: And so I just smirk because I know it's no need to even go into this discussion because
[00:05:59] [SPEAKER_00]: I can show you better than I can tell you.
[00:06:01] [SPEAKER_00]: Doesn't matter what I say.
[00:06:03] [SPEAKER_00]: But when I show you oh yeah look we bought the clothes on this condo out out in Hollywood
[00:06:09] [SPEAKER_00]: or wherever we're going.
[00:06:11] [SPEAKER_00]: Check it out.
[00:06:11] [SPEAKER_00]: Then she'll believe.
[00:06:12] [SPEAKER_00]: So you got to understand the mindset.
[00:06:15] [SPEAKER_00]: So when you change your mind your mindset you change your money.
[00:06:18] [SPEAKER_00]: And I'm going to give you these seven tips right now on how to develop an elite entrepreneurial mindset.
[00:06:25] [SPEAKER_00]: And that's what we need to do without that mindset guys.
[00:06:28] [SPEAKER_00]: Nothing is going to get done.
[00:06:30] [SPEAKER_00]: You got to be able to believe and you have to not just believe it has to be a change
[00:06:35] [SPEAKER_00]: in your way of life your way of thinking.
[00:06:38] [SPEAKER_00]: So number one here's several tips for mindset changes that you can use right now that are going to help you change your money.
[00:06:45] [SPEAKER_00]: Number one garbage in equals garbage out.
[00:06:49] [SPEAKER_00]: This is a mindset shift.
[00:06:51] [SPEAKER_00]: OK what you put in is going to determine what you put out.
[00:06:55] [SPEAKER_00]: So you need to monitor your information and guard your mind.
[00:06:58] [SPEAKER_00]: And that's real.
[00:06:59] [SPEAKER_00]: That's real talk guys because you know you need to reduce the number of of influences or information that comes in.
[00:07:08] [SPEAKER_00]: We're bombarded by so much information each day.
[00:07:12] [SPEAKER_00]: A lot of it is good but then a lot of it may not be that good.
[00:07:16] [SPEAKER_00]: All right.
[00:07:17] [SPEAKER_00]: So what I've done and it's funny I had to kind of streamline I cut down a number of podcasts I listen to.
[00:07:23] [SPEAKER_00]: I cut down a number of different stimuli that I get each day because I want to be focused on positive.
[00:07:31] [SPEAKER_00]: All right so garbage in equals garbage out.
[00:07:34] [SPEAKER_00]: So whatever you take in if you take in negative thoughts negative energy.
[00:07:38] [SPEAKER_00]: Oh man you know it's so tough to be an entrepreneur.
[00:07:41] [SPEAKER_00]: I don't think I can do it.
[00:07:43] [SPEAKER_00]: It's almost impossible to fail your rate for entrepreneurship is 75 percent or whatever it is.
[00:07:49] [SPEAKER_00]: So garbage in equals garbage out.
[00:07:51] [SPEAKER_00]: And if you want to be an elite entrepreneur and have that elite entrepreneur mindset you have to guard what comes in and what goes out.
[00:08:01] [SPEAKER_00]: Especially especially what comes in.
[00:08:03] [SPEAKER_00]: So you know I was just listening to a podcast today we're actually watching one and there was a brother on there talking about you know these fake finance gurus that have no certifications or anything.
[00:08:16] [SPEAKER_00]: And they're telling you to do stuff that really is illegal like with building credit and all of this type of stuff.
[00:08:23] [SPEAKER_00]: So once again you have to be very guarded on what comes in your mind garbage in equals garbage out.
[00:08:31] [SPEAKER_00]: And what we're talking about is changing your mindset changes your money.
[00:08:35] [SPEAKER_00]: So that's tip number one.
[00:08:37] [SPEAKER_00]: Tip number two adopt the mindset of consistency.
[00:08:42] [SPEAKER_00]: Adopt the mindset of consistency.
[00:08:45] [SPEAKER_00]: Okay so now understand that all growth and change come from consistent intentional actions.
[00:08:52] [SPEAKER_00]: Okay all growth and change come from consistent intentional actions that are going to change your money.
[00:08:59] [SPEAKER_00]: So consistency when I talk about consistency as an entrepreneur it's being consistent in the things that you do that are propelling your business forward.
[00:09:08] [SPEAKER_00]: So one of the things that I'm super consistent about is this podcast.
[00:09:14] [SPEAKER_00]: So for 464 weeks in a row you've got new heat from Jay Jones and Black Entrepreneur Blueprint.
[00:09:21] [SPEAKER_00]: So consistency the way I built this podcast and this ecosystem is through consistency.
[00:09:27] [SPEAKER_00]: So you need to adopt the mindset of consistency.
[00:09:30] [SPEAKER_00]: So just like if you're working out or exercising right.
[00:09:34] [SPEAKER_00]: You can't do 10 push-ups and think that you're going to have you're going to be rocked up.
[00:09:40] [SPEAKER_00]: You did 30 sit-ups today and you think you're going to have a six-pack.
[00:09:44] [SPEAKER_00]: It's consistency over time.
[00:09:47] [SPEAKER_00]: So what do you need to do on a consistent basis that's going to propel your business forward.
[00:09:52] [SPEAKER_00]: So it could be you consistently email market or send out email marketing campaigns every day from Monday through Friday.
[00:10:03] [SPEAKER_00]: That's consistency.
[00:10:04] [SPEAKER_00]: You consistently follow up with your clients or prospective customers and clients.
[00:10:10] [SPEAKER_00]: That's consistency.
[00:10:11] [SPEAKER_00]: You consistently put out content on a daily weekly basis or whatever it is.
[00:10:17] [SPEAKER_00]: Consistency over the long term is going to win out guys.
[00:10:21] [SPEAKER_00]: So you have to adopt the mindset of consistency and what we have to understand too with consistency.
[00:10:28] [SPEAKER_00]: It's not an instantaneous reaction.
[00:10:32] [SPEAKER_00]: It's not going to happen overnight.
[00:10:35] [SPEAKER_00]: You know, we always want instant gratification.
[00:10:38] [SPEAKER_00]: That's not going to happen a lot of times in business.
[00:10:40] [SPEAKER_00]: It's about consistency.
[00:10:42] [SPEAKER_00]: One of the things that really taught me about consistency was when I was a stockbroker.
[00:10:48] [SPEAKER_00]: I started out at Dean Witter Reynolds, which is now Morgan Stanley.
[00:10:52] [SPEAKER_00]: And then I went to Merrill Lynch.
[00:10:54] [SPEAKER_00]: But one of my co-workers was he came right out of college also was a year older than me and he started in the business.
[00:11:03] [SPEAKER_00]: And he really loved the business.
[00:11:05] [SPEAKER_00]: This is something that he really wanted to do.
[00:11:08] [SPEAKER_00]: And now fast forward 25, 30 years later, whatever it is, this is the only job that he's had.
[00:11:14] [SPEAKER_00]: And I remember we were struggling when we first started to build our clientele and we go had to get coupons to go to McDonald's for lunch.
[00:11:23] [SPEAKER_00]: And then we started to build up and build up.
[00:11:26] [SPEAKER_00]: But I realized that that's not really what I wanted to do for my lifetime.
[00:11:30] [SPEAKER_00]: But he knew he was locked in.
[00:11:33] [SPEAKER_00]: And now over these years, he's one of the top financial advisors at Morgan Stanley and has a very high end clientele, athletes, entertainers and people.
[00:11:44] [SPEAKER_00]: You know, entrepreneurs.
[00:11:46] [SPEAKER_00]: But we talked about a year ago and he was just talking about the consistency.
[00:11:51] [SPEAKER_00]: And if you look at where you are right now, you might want to start crying.
[00:11:55] [SPEAKER_00]: But sometimes you got to laugh to keep from crying.
[00:11:58] [SPEAKER_00]: But the consistency is the thing that made him very successful.
[00:12:03] [SPEAKER_00]: So number two, adopt the mindset of consistency.
[00:12:07] [SPEAKER_00]: Tip number three, adopt the mindset of clarity.
[00:12:11] [SPEAKER_00]: Adopt the mindset of clarity.
[00:12:12] [SPEAKER_00]: And when I talk about clarity, a lot of times we entrepreneurs have we have entrepreneurial ADD.
[00:12:21] [SPEAKER_00]: Right. And I've got it, but I've understood and I know how to control it.
[00:12:25] [SPEAKER_00]: A lot of times we have so many ideas.
[00:12:27] [SPEAKER_00]: We're researching on one business idea.
[00:12:30] [SPEAKER_00]: Something pops up on the Internet and it takes us down a whole another rabbit hole.
[00:12:34] [SPEAKER_00]: So you need to adopt the mindset of clarity.
[00:12:38] [SPEAKER_00]: OK, so focus in clarity.
[00:12:40] [SPEAKER_00]: Also, when I talk about clarity, you need to understand and identify how you really make money in your business.
[00:12:46] [SPEAKER_00]: What is actually making you money and what's the most profitable aspect of your business?
[00:12:52] [SPEAKER_00]: So clarity. I remember I have a coaching client and not too long ago we were talking.
[00:12:59] [SPEAKER_00]: And what she did does is she's a consultant and her biggest thing is tax planning, financial planning and things of that nature.
[00:13:07] [SPEAKER_00]: But she was making most of her money by her consultations.
[00:13:12] [SPEAKER_00]: So she would charge. She do a free consultation.
[00:13:15] [SPEAKER_00]: Then the follow up consultation would cost money.
[00:13:19] [SPEAKER_00]: And then after that follow up consultation, then they would implement or she would implement a plan for the tax preparation and financial planning.
[00:13:28] [SPEAKER_00]: What she realized was after we started digging through the numbers, she actually was making more money on the paid consultation,
[00:13:36] [SPEAKER_00]: which I think was like one hundred dollars or something like that.
[00:13:40] [SPEAKER_00]: But she had more paid consultation revenue than she did from actually financial planning.
[00:13:47] [SPEAKER_00]: And so you have to understand what that clarity mindset is.
[00:13:51] [SPEAKER_00]: Where are you really making your money?
[00:13:54] [SPEAKER_00]: What is the most profitable aspect of your business?
[00:13:57] [SPEAKER_00]: Sometimes we think is one thing when it's really something else.
[00:14:00] [SPEAKER_00]: And also in terms of clarity, don't forget, don't have entrepreneur ADD where you're all over the place and you start a new business every week.
[00:14:10] [SPEAKER_00]: So I talked about consistency earlier, right?
[00:14:13] [SPEAKER_00]: Which is number two. So that consistency and clarity go together.
[00:14:17] [SPEAKER_00]: Number three is adopt the mindset of clarity.
[00:14:21] [SPEAKER_00]: Number four. This is a big one, guys.
[00:14:24] [SPEAKER_00]: Understand your true enemy.
[00:14:27] [SPEAKER_00]: Understand your true enemy.
[00:14:28] [SPEAKER_00]: Now, your biggest enemy, guys, is you.
[00:14:31] [SPEAKER_00]: All right. I know it may sound silly, but your biggest enemy is you.
[00:14:36] [SPEAKER_00]: You need to be able to defeat your old self in your old mindset to change your money.
[00:14:41] [SPEAKER_00]: Guys, you have to defeat your old self and your old mindset to change your money.
[00:14:46] [SPEAKER_00]: And you do this by embracing the process of consistency.
[00:14:51] [SPEAKER_00]: And I talked about that number number two, adopt a mindset of consistency.
[00:14:55] [SPEAKER_00]: So in order to defeat yourself, many times it's our habits that are our biggest enemy.
[00:15:02] [SPEAKER_00]: Right. But we have to create new habits.
[00:15:04] [SPEAKER_00]: So one of the things that I do all the time is I get up early and I'm an early riser.
[00:15:10] [SPEAKER_00]: So I'm up at five o'clock every morning.
[00:15:12] [SPEAKER_00]: I do a lot of work and I do a lot of things before, you know, most people are up.
[00:15:18] [SPEAKER_00]: Now, I know a lot of you guys are early risers too, but I have a regimen.
[00:15:22] [SPEAKER_00]: All right. And I had to learn how to defeat myself because if we fall back into our natural state,
[00:15:29] [SPEAKER_00]: then a lot of times we're not going to be as successful.
[00:15:32] [SPEAKER_00]: And so what we have to do is a total change of mindset and not just the mindset,
[00:15:39] [SPEAKER_00]: but you're really fighting against yourself.
[00:15:41] [SPEAKER_00]: So the easiest thing to do is quit, right? Or to do nothing.
[00:15:45] [SPEAKER_00]: It takes absolutely no work.
[00:15:47] [SPEAKER_00]: So if you know that you need to do A, B and C to get your business going and you don't do A, B and C, guess what?
[00:15:56] [SPEAKER_00]: You know, you're your biggest enemy.
[00:15:58] [SPEAKER_00]: You know what you need to do.
[00:16:00] [SPEAKER_00]: And once you identify the steps or the process to make you successful,
[00:16:05] [SPEAKER_00]: now you have to go out and implement it.
[00:16:07] [SPEAKER_00]: It's just like when you're on a diet or an exercise plan, right?
[00:16:11] [SPEAKER_00]: The diet tells you exactly what you need to do, but the majority of us don't do it.
[00:16:16] [SPEAKER_00]: Same thing with an exercise plan. I'm struggling right now.
[00:16:20] [SPEAKER_00]: I'm trying to go on this new exercise plan and I'm missing day after day, right?
[00:16:26] [SPEAKER_00]: I'm battling myself.
[00:16:29] [SPEAKER_00]: And another thing I like to call it is wrestling in the dark, right?
[00:16:33] [SPEAKER_00]: So you're fighting yourself when you're laying down at night in the dark, no stimulus around you.
[00:16:39] [SPEAKER_00]: You're sitting there and you're just thinking you're wrestling in the dark.
[00:16:42] [SPEAKER_00]: You know what you're supposed to do, but you just haven't implemented it.
[00:16:47] [SPEAKER_00]: So you got to understand you are your biggest enemy.
[00:16:50] [SPEAKER_00]: Understand the true enemy that is you.
[00:16:54] [SPEAKER_00]: Once you put your mind to it and change that mindset to an elite entrepreneurial mindset,
[00:17:00] [SPEAKER_00]: nothing is going to stop you, okay?
[00:17:03] [SPEAKER_00]: But you got to battle yourself.
[00:17:05] [SPEAKER_00]: You got to take away those whispers in your ear, that doubt.
[00:17:10] [SPEAKER_00]: And we're going to get to that in a minute.
[00:17:12] [SPEAKER_00]: But number four, understand your true enemy and your biggest enemy is you.
[00:17:18] [SPEAKER_00]: Number five, identify and destroy limiting thoughts.
[00:17:22] [SPEAKER_00]: Identify and destroy limiting thoughts.
[00:17:25] [SPEAKER_00]: This is tougher than it sounds guys, because limiting thoughts are all around you, right?
[00:17:31] [SPEAKER_00]: So no limitations. You have no fear and you recognize no such word as impossible.
[00:17:37] [SPEAKER_00]: Identify and destroy limiting thoughts.
[00:17:39] [SPEAKER_00]: Now, these limiting thoughts can be coming from yourself,
[00:17:43] [SPEAKER_00]: which you know, understand your true enemy.
[00:17:46] [SPEAKER_00]: You're fighting yourself or they could be coming from external sources.
[00:17:50] [SPEAKER_00]: Your network, your family, your spouse, your wife, husband, brother, sister, cousin, whatever.
[00:17:57] [SPEAKER_00]: Okay, so you have to identify and destroy limiting thoughts.
[00:18:02] [SPEAKER_00]: So this is one of the things that I do when I have limiting thoughts.
[00:18:06] [SPEAKER_00]: And it may sound harsh, but I even do it with people.
[00:18:09] [SPEAKER_00]: Right? So if you're bringing this negative energy to me and these limiting thoughts,
[00:18:15] [SPEAKER_00]: I put you in the corner, right? Not physically, but figuratively.
[00:18:19] [SPEAKER_00]: I put you in the corner. I ain't even talking to this cat no more.
[00:18:23] [SPEAKER_00]: I'm not even going to listen to you because you're coming up with negativity
[00:18:26] [SPEAKER_00]: and this isn't going to help me get to where I want to be.
[00:18:30] [SPEAKER_00]: And so just like the example I gave you with my wife, right?
[00:18:33] [SPEAKER_00]: In terms of moving to California, you know, part time.
[00:18:37] [SPEAKER_00]: I'm not even listening to you.
[00:18:39] [SPEAKER_00]: Like I said, I can show you better than I can tell you,
[00:18:42] [SPEAKER_00]: but you want to identify and destroy limiting thoughts.
[00:18:45] [SPEAKER_00]: And that may even come with changing your network.
[00:18:49] [SPEAKER_00]: And we're going to talk about that in a minute.
[00:18:51] [SPEAKER_00]: You know, another thing, man, my wife was on, she was on one this week,
[00:18:56] [SPEAKER_00]: but we were sitting down last night and we were watching this documentary
[00:19:02] [SPEAKER_00]: and I'm listening to the narrator of the documentary
[00:19:05] [SPEAKER_00]: and I've actually narrated a couple of things before,
[00:19:08] [SPEAKER_00]: you know, didn't make a lot of money.
[00:19:10] [SPEAKER_00]: I've done some for free, but I've also narrated and done voiceovers.
[00:19:15] [SPEAKER_00]: And, uh, and I was joking. I was like, yeah,

[00:19:20] [SPEAKER_00]: She didn't say anything, but she turned and she looked at me
[00:19:23] [SPEAKER_00]: and she gave me that look like, man, be quiet. Right.
[00:19:27] [SPEAKER_00]: But I said to her, I said, you know, that's not impossible.
[00:19:31] [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah. But you know, how many people want to be a, you know,
[00:19:35] [SPEAKER_00]: voiceover artists and, and they're not successful with it.
[00:19:39] [SPEAKER_00]: Bye bye bye bye bye. I didn't even say nothing else.
[00:19:42] [SPEAKER_00]: But in my mind, once again, you have to identify
[00:19:46] [SPEAKER_00]: and destroy limiting thoughts.
[00:19:47] [SPEAKER_00]: Let me branch off on that real quick for a second.
[00:19:50] [SPEAKER_00]: And I'm going to come back in.
[00:19:52] [SPEAKER_00]: So she was basically saying like, who's going to hire you to do voiceovers?
[00:19:58] [SPEAKER_00]: And I was talking about one of my, uh, BEB family members who she's
[00:20:02] [SPEAKER_00]: into voiceovers now, and she's trying to make that her career.
[00:20:06] [SPEAKER_00]: And it's funny because when you don't have the opportunity,
[00:20:11] [SPEAKER_00]: many times you have to make the opportunity.
[00:20:15] [SPEAKER_00]: So I said to her, I said, you know, I could create my own,
[00:20:18] [SPEAKER_00]: uh, documentary and do my own voiceover.
[00:20:21] [SPEAKER_00]: I don't have to wait for somebody to hire me.
[00:20:24] [SPEAKER_00]: So I'm going off on a little tangent here,
[00:20:26] [SPEAKER_00]: but one of the things is you can create the space that you want to be in.
[00:20:31] [SPEAKER_00]: If nobody is going to give you an opportunity to do that.
[00:20:34] [SPEAKER_00]: All right. So I'm not going to go off on a tangent on that,
[00:20:37] [SPEAKER_00]: but number five, identify and destroy limiting thoughts.
[00:20:42] [SPEAKER_00]: So my wife is two for two this week, right?
[00:20:45] [SPEAKER_00]: For that California thing. And also the voiceover thing.
[00:20:49] [SPEAKER_00]: But, but not, but you got to understand who people are
[00:20:53] [SPEAKER_00]: and what their mindset is.
[00:20:54] [SPEAKER_00]: That's why it's so important to create that elite entrepreneurial mindset,
[00:20:59] [SPEAKER_00]: because you're going to need that to fend off negativity
[00:21:03] [SPEAKER_00]: and to be able to keep moving forward.
[00:21:05] [SPEAKER_00]: So like I said, my, the way I handle it is I put you in a corner figuratively.
[00:21:10] [SPEAKER_00]: All right, whatever. I ain't even listening to you.
[00:21:13] [SPEAKER_00]: So you just have to figure out a way to identify and destroy the limiting thoughts.
[00:21:17] [SPEAKER_00]: And those are the external limiting thoughts and the internal limiting thoughts.
[00:21:22] [SPEAKER_00]: And the way you can destroy the internal limiting thoughts
[00:21:26] [SPEAKER_00]: is by reading and focusing on positive things,
[00:21:29] [SPEAKER_00]: reading stories of entrepreneurs that are successful,
[00:21:33] [SPEAKER_00]: that have gone through the fire, listening to podcasts, whatever.
[00:21:38] [SPEAKER_00]: Just try to identify and destroy the limiting thoughts,
[00:21:41] [SPEAKER_00]: because if you can't get past those limiting thoughts, guys,
[00:21:44] [SPEAKER_00]: you're not going to be a successful entrepreneur.
[00:21:48] [SPEAKER_00]: Number six, changing your network will change your mindset.
[00:21:52] [SPEAKER_00]: Changing your network will change your mindset.
[00:21:56] [SPEAKER_00]: So here's the sad thing, guys.
[00:21:59] [SPEAKER_00]: You know, many of our network, you know, our family, friends,
[00:22:02] [SPEAKER_00]: and you know, associates, whatever, they're not actually good for it.
[00:22:06] [SPEAKER_00]: Right. In terms of where you're trying to go as an entrepreneur.
[00:22:09] [SPEAKER_00]: I'm not saying that you got to cut everybody off,
[00:22:12] [SPEAKER_00]: but you need to identify people in groups to align yourself with
[00:22:16] [SPEAKER_00]: that have a positive mindset.
[00:22:18] [SPEAKER_00]: You ever been around somebody that all they do is talk about,
[00:22:23] [SPEAKER_00]: whoa is me or how bad things are.
[00:22:26] [SPEAKER_00]: That's negative energy. You got to get away from that.
[00:22:28] [SPEAKER_00]: So you may need a set of new friends, y'all.
[00:22:31] [SPEAKER_00]: Not necessarily cut your friends off,
[00:22:34] [SPEAKER_00]: but you may need to create or get a new group of friends,
[00:22:38] [SPEAKER_00]: an additional group of friends. Right.
[00:22:40] [SPEAKER_00]: You may need to be around people or you not may,
[00:22:43] [SPEAKER_00]: you want to be around people with positive energy.
[00:22:46] [SPEAKER_00]: Okay. So changing your network will change your mindset.
[00:22:50] [SPEAKER_00]: So now since COVID is pretty much run its course,
[00:22:53] [SPEAKER_00]: there are all types of meetups and groups for entrepreneurs.
[00:22:57] [SPEAKER_00]: Okay. So you need to understand that you want to put your energy
[00:23:02] [SPEAKER_00]: or have your energy around other positive energy.
[00:23:07] [SPEAKER_00]: That negative energy isn't going to help you guys.
[00:23:10] [SPEAKER_00]: And I don't care who is coming from family, friends, spouse, partner,
[00:23:14] [SPEAKER_00]: whatever the negative energy isn't good for you.
[00:23:18] [SPEAKER_00]: Also, what's the old saying?
[00:23:20] [SPEAKER_00]: Take a look at your five best friends and you'll see where you are.
[00:23:24] [SPEAKER_00]: You know, another saying is if you're the smartest one in the group,
[00:23:27] [SPEAKER_00]: you need a new group. So I'm not saying ditch your friends,
[00:23:32] [SPEAKER_00]: but create or develop a new networks. Okay.
[00:23:36] [SPEAKER_00]: Changing your network will change your mindset and changing that mindset
[00:23:40] [SPEAKER_00]: is going to change your money.
[00:23:42] [SPEAKER_00]: One of the reasons why my office is in a WeWork location,
[00:23:46] [SPEAKER_00]: which is a communal workspace is because I need to change that network.
[00:23:52] [SPEAKER_00]: So I'm able to meet other people, new people.
[00:23:54] [SPEAKER_00]: It also inspires me when I'm seeing other people work and be productive
[00:24:00] [SPEAKER_00]: as opposed just from working at home.
[00:24:02] [SPEAKER_00]: So I have a home office and I also have a WeWork location
[00:24:06] [SPEAKER_00]: and I may go into the WeWork location two or three times a week
[00:24:10] [SPEAKER_00]: depending upon what my schedule is.
[00:24:12] [SPEAKER_00]: But it's being able to change your network, change your mindset
[00:24:16] [SPEAKER_00]: and change your surrounding. That's really what it's about.
[00:24:20] [SPEAKER_00]: And so I know a lot of people were going stir crazy when COVID was really big
[00:24:24] [SPEAKER_00]: and everybody had to work from home.
[00:24:27] [SPEAKER_00]: So you need that external stimulation sometime
[00:24:31] [SPEAKER_00]: and being able to change your network is big.
[00:24:34] [SPEAKER_00]: So here's a couple of things that you can do with your network.
[00:24:36] [SPEAKER_00]: Start going to entrepreneurial meetups, right?
[00:24:40] [SPEAKER_00]: Start connecting with people that are entrepreneurs.
[00:24:44] [SPEAKER_00]: Okay, you speak the same language and they know what you're going through.
[00:24:47] [SPEAKER_00]: So number six, changing your network will change your mindset.
[00:24:51] [SPEAKER_00]: And last but not least, number seven, adopt the mindset of alignment.
[00:24:57] [SPEAKER_00]: Adopt the mindset of alignment and I just touched on this a minute ago.
[00:25:02] [SPEAKER_00]: Align yourself with other entrepreneurs guys.
[00:25:04] [SPEAKER_00]: You need to be with people who speak your language.
[00:25:07] [SPEAKER_00]: And when I say people that speak your languages,
[00:25:09] [SPEAKER_00]: other entrepreneurs know what you're going through.
[00:25:12] [SPEAKER_00]: Okay, so civilians and when I call it say civilians,
[00:25:17] [SPEAKER_00]: I don't mean it to be derogatory, but a civilian is somebody
[00:25:20] [SPEAKER_00]: that doesn't want anything to do with entrepreneurship.
[00:25:24] [SPEAKER_00]: They're fine working with other people.
[00:25:26] [SPEAKER_00]: Now you can have it be an entrepreneur but still work in corporate America.
[00:25:30] [SPEAKER_00]: You may have a side business or you're an aspiring entrepreneur.
[00:25:34] [SPEAKER_00]: I call you a civilian.
[00:25:35] [SPEAKER_00]: But a civilian is somebody that has no desire to be in business for themselves.
[00:25:42] [SPEAKER_00]: So you want to adopt a mindset of alignment.
[00:25:45] [SPEAKER_00]: One of the tenants that I live by, my mom and I are real close
[00:25:51] [SPEAKER_00]: and she always said remember the source.
[00:25:54] [SPEAKER_00]: So anytime you gather information, remember the source.
[00:25:57] [SPEAKER_00]: Where is this source coming from?
[00:25:59] [SPEAKER_00]: Right?
[00:26:00] [SPEAKER_00]: And so if the information is coming from a civilian,
[00:26:04] [SPEAKER_00]: it's going to be different than coming from an entrepreneur.
[00:26:08] [SPEAKER_00]: Because we as entrepreneurs, we have that alignment.
[00:26:12] [SPEAKER_00]: So we understand the language of entrepreneur
[00:26:14] [SPEAKER_00]: and we also understand what comes along with being an entrepreneur.
[00:26:19] [SPEAKER_00]: So when you're talking or receiving information
[00:26:22] [SPEAKER_00]: from people that don't speak your language,
[00:26:25] [SPEAKER_00]: it's going to be totally different.
[00:26:27] [SPEAKER_00]: Here's another example.
[00:26:29] [SPEAKER_00]: So my wife and I were having a conversation
[00:26:32] [SPEAKER_00]: and I forgot what we were talking about.
[00:26:35] [SPEAKER_00]: Oh, it was about buying this house.
[00:26:39] [SPEAKER_00]: Not for us but just in general.
[00:26:42] [SPEAKER_00]: And her comment was,
[00:26:44] [SPEAKER_00]: man, I don't know how anybody could afford this house.
[00:26:47] [SPEAKER_00]: And we were actually watching a YouTube channel about these mansions.
[00:26:53] [SPEAKER_00]: And when I said to her, I said,
[00:26:55] [SPEAKER_00]: yeah, I understand.
[00:26:56] [SPEAKER_00]: This house was like 30 million dollars.
[00:26:59] [SPEAKER_00]: You know, it's way out of the range of most people.
[00:27:02] [SPEAKER_00]: But what I said to her was this.
[00:27:04] [SPEAKER_00]: I said, you know, when you have a steady paycheck,
[00:27:08] [SPEAKER_00]: which is nothing wrong with that,
[00:27:10] [SPEAKER_00]: and you know every two weeks you get $2,000 deposited in your account,
[00:27:16] [SPEAKER_00]: you know that there's a limit on what you're going to make.
[00:27:20] [SPEAKER_00]: So you pretty much can tell every time you get paid,
[00:27:23] [SPEAKER_00]: you know what you're spending that $2,000 on.
[00:27:26] [SPEAKER_00]: So your imagination doesn't even stray any further than that.
[00:27:30] [SPEAKER_00]: But when you're an entrepreneur,
[00:27:31] [SPEAKER_00]: your income can be unlimited.
[00:27:34] [SPEAKER_00]: Now it may not be $2,000 every two weeks.
[00:27:38] [SPEAKER_00]: It may be $100 every two weeks as you're going through this process.
[00:27:41] [SPEAKER_00]: But somebody that has a steady fixed income,
[00:27:45] [SPEAKER_00]: you can't even dream.
[00:27:47] [SPEAKER_00]: I'm not saying you can't.
[00:27:48] [SPEAKER_00]: It's hard for somebody that's a civilian to even fathom
[00:27:53] [SPEAKER_00]: being able to buy not a 30 million dollar house,
[00:27:56] [SPEAKER_00]: but say a $2 million house based on how much they make.
[00:28:00] [SPEAKER_00]: So if you're bringing in two grand every two weeks,
[00:28:03] [SPEAKER_00]: you know that yeah,
[00:28:05] [SPEAKER_00]: this probably isn't going to be feasible for me
[00:28:07] [SPEAKER_00]: if I'm continuing to go on this path.
[00:28:09] [SPEAKER_00]: And there's nothing wrong with it.
[00:28:11] [SPEAKER_00]: So let me get that and put that out there right now.
[00:28:14] [SPEAKER_00]: There's nothing wrong with doing that
[00:28:16] [SPEAKER_00]: if that's what you're designed to do
[00:28:18] [SPEAKER_00]: or that's what you enjoy or want to do.
[00:28:20] [SPEAKER_00]: Right?
[00:28:20] [SPEAKER_00]: So everybody doesn't have to be an entrepreneur.
[00:28:23] [SPEAKER_00]: So there's nothing wrong with that.
[00:28:24] [SPEAKER_00]: But you have a finite or you have a limited vision
[00:28:30] [SPEAKER_00]: of what's affordable based on what you get paid
[00:28:34] [SPEAKER_00]: every two weeks, every week, every month or whatever.
[00:28:38] [SPEAKER_00]: So that's one of the differences about the mindset of alignment.
[00:28:43] [SPEAKER_00]: An entrepreneur can look at that $2 million house
[00:28:45] [SPEAKER_00]: and say, you know what?
[00:28:47] [SPEAKER_00]: Not now, but possibly later.
[00:28:50] [SPEAKER_00]: Because our income isn't limited to what,
[00:28:54] [SPEAKER_00]: what your company is going to pay you.
[00:28:56] [SPEAKER_00]: And so that's the type of mindset.
[00:28:59] [SPEAKER_00]: That's the type of language that entrepreneurs speak,
[00:29:02] [SPEAKER_00]: said or unsaid.
[00:29:03] [SPEAKER_00]: We understand that yes, this is possible.
[00:29:06] [SPEAKER_00]: So we look at what's the old adage?
[00:29:09] [SPEAKER_00]: The glass can be half empty or half full.
[00:29:12] [SPEAKER_00]: You know, entrepreneurs tend to look at the glass half full.
[00:29:15] [SPEAKER_00]: Other people tend to look at it half empty.
[00:29:18] [SPEAKER_00]: Both are right depending upon your perspective.
[00:29:21] [SPEAKER_00]: But an entrepreneur, one of the things that we have is hope.
[00:29:24] [SPEAKER_00]: Right now you can die hoping that you make it as an entrepreneur,
[00:29:29] [SPEAKER_00]: not make it, but you do have the ability
[00:29:32] [SPEAKER_00]: and the opportunity to be successful as an entrepreneur.
[00:29:36] [SPEAKER_00]: As long as you're in the game.
[00:29:38] [SPEAKER_00]: When you're not in the game, there's no hope.
[00:29:42] [SPEAKER_00]: You know what it is.
[00:29:43] [SPEAKER_00]: So when I talk about number seven, adopt the mindset of alignment.
[00:29:46] [SPEAKER_00]: Align yourself with other entrepreneurs
[00:29:48] [SPEAKER_00]: because they speak your language.
[00:29:50] [SPEAKER_00]: They know what you're going through
[00:29:52] [SPEAKER_00]: and they may have gone through what you're going through
[00:29:54] [SPEAKER_00]: and they can help you move forward.
[00:29:56] [SPEAKER_00]: That's what the podcast is about.
[00:29:59] [SPEAKER_00]: I share my ups, my downs, my highs, my lows,
[00:30:02] [SPEAKER_00]: my experiences as an entrepreneur

[00:30:27] [SPEAKER_00]: that gets a finite amount of money every week
[00:30:30] [SPEAKER_00]: or every two weeks, they know where that money
[00:30:33] [SPEAKER_00]: is going to be spent before they even get it.
[00:30:35] [SPEAKER_00]: And unless they get a raise or a new position,
[00:30:39] [SPEAKER_00]: then their mindset is going to be stuck
[00:30:42] [SPEAKER_00]: to this income level.
[00:30:43] [SPEAKER_00]: Whereas entrepreneurs, we have an unlimited opportunity
[00:30:46] [SPEAKER_00]: to make money, to make an unlimited amount of money,
[00:30:50] [SPEAKER_00]: I should say.
[00:30:51] [SPEAKER_00]: So that's why your vision is going to be totally different
[00:30:55] [SPEAKER_00]: than somebody else's vision
[00:30:58] [SPEAKER_00]: that's working for somebody
[00:30:59] [SPEAKER_00]: and has no desire to be an entrepreneur.
[00:31:02] [SPEAKER_00]: Two million dollar house, it's possible for you
[00:31:05] [SPEAKER_00]: in your mind.
[00:31:06] [SPEAKER_00]: Two million dollar house for somebody
[00:31:09] [SPEAKER_00]: that's working in corporate America
[00:31:10] [SPEAKER_00]: that doesn't make the money to buy a two million dollar house,
[00:31:14] [SPEAKER_00]: it's not feasible, it's not possible.
[00:31:16] [SPEAKER_00]: Number seven, adopt the mindset of alignment.
[00:31:20] [SPEAKER_00]: So I was saying before guys
[00:31:22] [SPEAKER_00]: that you have to understand how you work.
[00:31:26] [SPEAKER_00]: Everybody is different in the way that they move
[00:31:29] [SPEAKER_00]: and in the way that they respond to stimuli.
[00:31:32] [SPEAKER_00]: So remember, mindset is a habitual
[00:31:34] [SPEAKER_00]: or characteristic mental attitude
[00:31:36] [SPEAKER_00]: that determines how you will interpret
[00:31:39] [SPEAKER_00]: and respond to situations.
[00:31:42] [SPEAKER_00]: How do you interpret a situation?
[00:31:44] [SPEAKER_00]: Is it an opportunity or is it not an opportunity?
[00:31:46] [SPEAKER_00]: All right, how do you respond to the situation?
[00:31:50] [SPEAKER_00]: I can show you better than I can tell you.
[00:31:53] [SPEAKER_00]: That's what the mindset of an entrepreneur does.

[00:34:33] [SPEAKER_00]: or not successful as an entrepreneur.
[00:34:36] [SPEAKER_00]: When my girls were little,
[00:34:39] [SPEAKER_00]: I used to tell them, I said,
[00:34:40] [SPEAKER_00]: if you can control that coconut on your shoulders,
[00:34:42] [SPEAKER_00]: you'll be able to do almost anything.
[00:34:45] [SPEAKER_00]: And that's what it's really about,
[00:34:47] [SPEAKER_00]: using that mindset and perfecting that
[00:34:51] [SPEAKER_00]: to make you an entrepreneur success.
[00:34:54] [SPEAKER_00]: One of the things I want to leave you with today guys
[00:34:57] [SPEAKER_00]: is just a thought that I talk to a lot of entrepreneurs about

[00:35:11] [SPEAKER_00]: So a lot of times when I'm doing one-on-one coaching
[00:35:15] [SPEAKER_00]: or I'm just talking about entrepreneurship,
[00:35:17] [SPEAKER_00]: this always comes up because what this is,
[00:35:20] [SPEAKER_00]: this is a mindset battle.
[00:35:22] [SPEAKER_00]: Because if your dreams and goals are bigger than your network can comprehend,
[00:35:27] [SPEAKER_00]: then what they're going to speak to you is limiting beliefs
[00:35:31] [SPEAKER_00]: because they're not going to believe that this is possible.
[00:35:35] [SPEAKER_00]: But remember, your dreams were given to you.
[00:35:37] [SPEAKER_00]: They weren't given to your wife.
[00:35:39] [SPEAKER_00]: They weren't given to your husband.
[00:35:40] [SPEAKER_00]: They weren't given to your spouse, partner, kids, aunts, uncles, brothers, sisters or friends.
[00:35:45] [SPEAKER_00]: Your dreams and goals may be bigger than your network can comprehend.
[00:35:51] [SPEAKER_00]: And don't let others hold you back because they have limiting beliefs.
[00:35:56] [SPEAKER_00]: Okay?
[00:35:57] [SPEAKER_00]: That's why we speak a different language as entrepreneurs.
[00:36:01] [SPEAKER_00]: That's why that $2 million house I talked about is within reason for an entrepreneur
[00:36:07] [SPEAKER_00]: and it's not in reason for other people because they have those limiting beliefs.
[00:36:12] [SPEAKER_00]: So don't let people limit your beliefs based on their limiting beliefs.
[00:36:17] [SPEAKER_00]: Okay?
[00:36:18] [SPEAKER_00]: And remember, you can't live the life you want thinking the way that you currently do.
[00:36:23] [SPEAKER_00]: You can't live the life you want thinking the way that you currently do.
[00:36:27] [SPEAKER_00]: And this only applies if you're not at the level that you want to be at yet.
[00:36:32] [SPEAKER_00]: Right?
[00:36:32] [SPEAKER_00]: And I think it's never a finish line.
[00:36:35] [SPEAKER_00]: I think it's a consistent journey.
[00:36:37] [SPEAKER_00]: You know, so I try to keep and have a consistent mindset for entrepreneurship also.
[00:36:43] [SPEAKER_00]: But I'll be honest with you, just like anybody else, sometimes you get discouraged.
[00:36:47] [SPEAKER_00]: Sometimes you're like, man, why am I doing this?
[00:36:50] [SPEAKER_00]: But you have to continue to push forward.
[00:36:53] [SPEAKER_00]: And like I said, your mindset is the difference between a successful entrepreneur and an unsuccessful entrepreneur.
[00:37:01] [SPEAKER_00]: Now, yes, you got to have the right product, service or whatever.
[00:37:04] [SPEAKER_00]: And you got to know what the heck you're doing.
[00:37:06] [SPEAKER_00]: You know, just having a positive mindset isn't guaranteeing you that you're going to be a successful entrepreneur.
[00:37:11] [SPEAKER_00]: But it damn sure guarantees that you won't be a successful entrepreneur if you don't have that elite entrepreneur mindset.
[00:37:20] [SPEAKER_00]: So real quick, guys.
[00:37:22] [SPEAKER_00]: Number one, garbage in equals garbage out.
[00:37:24] [SPEAKER_00]: Number two, adopt the mindset of consistency.
[00:37:27] [SPEAKER_00]: Number three, adopt the mindset of clarity.
[00:37:30] [SPEAKER_00]: Number four, understand your true enemy and your biggest enemy is you.
[00:37:34] [SPEAKER_00]: Number five, identify and destroy limiting thoughts.
[00:37:37] [SPEAKER_00]: Number six, changing your network will change your mindset.
[00:37:41] [SPEAKER_00]: Number seven, adopt the mindset of alignment, which basically means align yourself with other entrepreneurs.
[00:37:47] [SPEAKER_00]: Remember, your dreams and goals may be bigger than your network can comprehend.
[00:37:53] [SPEAKER_00]: You know, there's a passage in the Bible that says, I'm paraphrasing, don't take advice from fools, right?
[00:38:01] [SPEAKER_00]: So this is something that I always tell my kids and it goes back to remember the source that my mom talks about.
[00:38:09] [SPEAKER_00]: Sometimes people think that they're helping you, but they're really hurting you.
[00:38:12] [SPEAKER_00]: They're not necessarily doing it on purpose, but when you take counsel of fools and that's what it says in the Bible.
[00:38:20] [SPEAKER_00]: And fools being somebody that's not giving you the right information.
[00:38:25] [SPEAKER_00]: And basically what the Bible was saying, if they're giving you counsel that's not based on the Bible principles.
[00:38:33] [SPEAKER_00]: Real life example, it's myself and two of my friends are talking.
[00:38:37] [SPEAKER_00]: One of my friends is having issues.
[00:38:39] [SPEAKER_00]: He and his wife are having marital problems.
[00:38:41] [SPEAKER_00]: My other friend said, yeah man, who's single.
[00:38:44] [SPEAKER_00]: The other friend is single.
[00:38:45] [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah man, you should come to the Dominican Republic with me and a couple of other fellas.
[00:38:50] [SPEAKER_00]: And I told him, I said, yo, I said, yo bro, that ain't a good idea.
[00:38:53] [SPEAKER_00]: You're married.
[00:38:54] [SPEAKER_00]: I said, these cats are single, right?
[00:38:56] [SPEAKER_00]: So he may be telling you to come down to the DR and relax, clear your mind.
[00:39:01] [SPEAKER_00]: But that's a counsel of fools.
[00:39:03] [SPEAKER_00]: Remember the source.
[00:39:04] [SPEAKER_00]: Now we all three are good friends.
[00:39:06] [SPEAKER_00]: Remember the source.
[00:39:07] [SPEAKER_00]: He's single.
[00:39:09] [SPEAKER_00]: He's thinking he's helping you out by bringing you down there so you can decompress and relax.
[00:39:14] [SPEAKER_00]: But in real life, that's not a good move.
[00:39:18] [SPEAKER_00]: That ain't a good look.
[00:39:19] [SPEAKER_00]: And so remember once again that you got to understand and remember the source of where you're getting your information.
[00:39:27] [SPEAKER_00]: And I go back to this one of the things that I've done.
[00:39:30] [SPEAKER_00]: I've cut down my sources of information, right?
[00:39:33] [SPEAKER_00]: Because it's so much, you get bombarded with so much information.
[00:39:37] [SPEAKER_00]: And if you have entrepreneur ADD like me, you're going to be all over the place.
[00:39:42] [SPEAKER_00]: So I only lock in with credible sources, sources that I know mean well and that have experience doing what they talking about.
[00:39:52] [SPEAKER_00]: Right?
[00:39:52] [SPEAKER_00]: So that's one of the things with me.
[00:39:55] [SPEAKER_00]: I'm not going to talk to you guys about something that I haven't done.
[00:39:58] [SPEAKER_00]: Or I'll bring somebody else in that's an expert on whatever the subject matter or topic matter is.
[00:40:04] [SPEAKER_00]: But everything that I talk about, I've done.
[00:40:07] [SPEAKER_00]: So I'm a big advocate on practical application versus theory, right?
[00:40:12] [SPEAKER_00]: Knowledge versus know-how.
[00:40:14] [SPEAKER_00]: Know-how is something totally different from knowledge.
[00:40:17] [SPEAKER_00]: So knowledge is you can attain knowledge anywhere from a book, from a podcast, from looking at somebody doing something, watching your dad fix a tire or change a tire.
[00:40:28] [SPEAKER_00]: Know-how comes from doing.
[00:40:30] [SPEAKER_00]: And the example I always use is flying an F-15 fighter jet, right?
[00:40:35] [SPEAKER_00]: I think they actually have F-16s now.
[00:40:37] [SPEAKER_00]: Just say F-16 fighter jet.
[00:40:39] [SPEAKER_00]: I can watch videos on how to fly that jet.
[00:40:43] [SPEAKER_00]: I can actually be in the back of the cockpit of somebody flying the jet.
[00:40:48] [SPEAKER_00]: I can over there look at tutorials on how to fly the jet.
[00:40:51] [SPEAKER_00]: But if Jay Jones gets into that F-16, do I know how to fly that jet?
[00:40:58] [SPEAKER_00]: No, right?
[00:40:59] [SPEAKER_00]: So the difference between knowledge and know-how is levels apart.
[00:41:04] [SPEAKER_00]: It's levels apart.
[00:41:06] [SPEAKER_00]: And so what you have to understand as an entrepreneur, and this comes back to mindset is,
[00:41:11] [SPEAKER_00]: the path for an entrepreneur is going to come with failures and setbacks.
[00:41:16] [SPEAKER_00]: Understand and recognize that.
[00:41:18] [SPEAKER_00]: That's what's going to happen.
[00:41:20] [SPEAKER_00]: So for civilians or somebody that doesn't speak the entrepreneurial language,
[00:41:25] [SPEAKER_00]: as soon as they have that first setback or failure, they're going to quit.
[00:41:30] [SPEAKER_00]: So remember the source of where you're getting your information.
[00:41:34] [SPEAKER_00]: Because a civilian is going to tell you, man, why did you try that business?
[00:41:37] [SPEAKER_00]: I told you you weren't going to be successful.
[00:41:40] [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, but an entrepreneur is going to say, yo, man, that's par for the course, bro.
[00:41:45] [SPEAKER_00]: You know how many times I failed?
[00:41:47] [SPEAKER_00]: Out of 17, and this is real life, out of 17 businesses that I've started,
[00:41:52] [SPEAKER_00]: five of them were abject failures.
[00:41:54] [SPEAKER_00]: Five, okay?
[00:41:56] [SPEAKER_00]: Damn near didn't get off the ground, right?
[00:41:59] [SPEAKER_00]: But I learned from that and I understood what the process was.
[00:42:03] [SPEAKER_00]: Embraced the process.
[00:42:05] [SPEAKER_00]: So as an entrepreneur, the mindset is key to being successful.
[00:42:09] [SPEAKER_00]: If I didn't have that entrepreneurial or the elite entrepreneurial mindset,
[00:42:14] [SPEAKER_00]: I would've quit a long time ago when I almost lost it all twice.
[00:42:18] [SPEAKER_00]: Everything, cars, home, whatever.
[00:42:21] [SPEAKER_00]: I would've quit, but the elite entrepreneurial mindset tells me
[00:42:25] [SPEAKER_00]: that I still have an option.
[00:42:28] [SPEAKER_00]: I still have a chance.
[00:42:29] [SPEAKER_00]: Let me lock into the right people to listen to.
[00:42:32] [SPEAKER_00]: Let me align myself with other people.
[00:42:34] [SPEAKER_00]: Let me take away all the limiting doubts, okay?
[00:42:38] [SPEAKER_00]: Let me understand who my true enemy is, which is me.
[00:42:42] [SPEAKER_00]: And once I can understand and lock in
[00:42:44] [SPEAKER_00]: and create that elite entrepreneurial mindset,
[00:42:48] [SPEAKER_00]: as long as I'm doing the right thing,
[00:42:50] [SPEAKER_00]: I'm in the right business, I'm making the right moves,
[00:42:53] [SPEAKER_00]: you can't stop me, right?
[00:42:55] [SPEAKER_00]: I may have some roadblocks.
[00:42:57] [SPEAKER_00]: I may have to shut this business down or pivot.
[00:43:00] [SPEAKER_00]: But guess what?
[00:43:01] [SPEAKER_00]: With the mindset I got, you can't stop me.
[00:43:04] [SPEAKER_00]: I don't care who you are or what you are.
[00:43:06] [SPEAKER_00]: You can't stop me.
[00:43:08] [SPEAKER_00]: And that's where you want to get to the point
[00:43:10] [SPEAKER_00]: where you're unstoppable.
[00:43:12] [SPEAKER_00]: And what we're talking about today
[00:43:14] [SPEAKER_00]: or what we have talked about today, guys,
[00:43:16] [SPEAKER_00]: is changing your mindset changes your money.
[00:43:19] [SPEAKER_00]: Please believe me.
[00:43:21] [SPEAKER_00]: It's true.
[00:43:22] [SPEAKER_00]: So if your mindset is jacked up right now,
[00:43:26] [SPEAKER_00]: you're not going to be successful.
[00:43:28] [SPEAKER_00]: So the things and the tips I gave you today,
[00:43:31] [SPEAKER_00]: make sure you lock into them
[00:43:32] [SPEAKER_00]: and make sure the first thing that you work on
[00:43:35] [SPEAKER_00]: is the mindset.
[00:43:36] [SPEAKER_00]: Nothing else is going to be possible
[00:43:38] [SPEAKER_00]: without changing that mindset, okay?
[00:43:41] [SPEAKER_00]: So if you want to change the situation
[00:43:43] [SPEAKER_00]: that you're in now,
[00:43:44] [SPEAKER_00]: you want to level up, you have the opportunity, guys.
[00:43:47] [SPEAKER_00]: You got to change your mindset.
[00:43:49] [SPEAKER_00]: You got to elevate your entrepreneur IQ
[00:43:52] [SPEAKER_00]: and change your mindset.
