[00:02:47] [SPEAKER_00]: So today we're going to talk about the three missing essential elements that will
[00:02:52] [SPEAKER_00]: transform your business and your life.
[00:02:55] [SPEAKER_00]: So on today's show guys I'm going to give you three essential elements that most ultra
[00:02:59] [SPEAKER_00]: successful businesses have that many failing or unsuccessful businesses don't have.
[00:03:05] [SPEAKER_00]: Now what we're going to do is we're going to discuss and dissect these essential elements
[00:03:09] [SPEAKER_00]: and I'm going to show you how you can implement them in your business today.
[00:03:14] [SPEAKER_00]: Now what I'm about to tell you is I'm not saying that you can't be successful
[00:03:19] [SPEAKER_00]: without these three elements but if you do have them in your business I guarantee that
[00:03:24] [SPEAKER_00]: your entrepreneurial journey will be much smoother and you'll be aligned for success.
[00:03:30] [SPEAKER_00]: And that's the key word we're going to come back to alignment or being aligned with your
[00:03:35] [SPEAKER_00]: business.
[00:03:36] [SPEAKER_00]: Now let's start out with essential element number one.
[00:03:41] [SPEAKER_00]: You love what you do.
[00:03:43] [SPEAKER_00]: Sounds kind of simple but it's true.
[00:03:45] [SPEAKER_00]: You love what you do.
[00:03:47] [SPEAKER_00]: Many people actually chase the money and not the purpose.
[00:03:51] [SPEAKER_00]: They're chasing paper and not purpose.
[00:03:53] [SPEAKER_00]: And when you can align your business with something that you love it allows you to
[00:03:57] [SPEAKER_00]: persevere when things get tough because you enjoy what you're actually doing.
[00:04:02] [SPEAKER_00]: So as a serial entrepreneur for over 25 years and a business coach guys I've seen it
[00:04:08] [SPEAKER_00]: time and time again where people are chasing the paper versus chasing their purpose.
[00:04:14] [SPEAKER_00]: They're doing something for the money and they're not doing something that they love.
[00:04:19] [SPEAKER_00]: And I understand sometimes it's a money grab.
[00:04:22] [SPEAKER_00]: You know you have low hanging fruit and you decide guess what I can make this money.
[00:04:26] [SPEAKER_00]: Let me go ahead and just do this start this business or provide this service
[00:04:30] [SPEAKER_00]: and I'm going to go grab that paper.
[00:04:33] [SPEAKER_00]: Understood get it but what I'm telling you is guys that only lasts a certain
[00:04:38] [SPEAKER_00]: period of time as you continue on your entrepreneurial journey it can become
[00:04:43] [SPEAKER_00]: a drag.
[00:04:44] [SPEAKER_00]: Now you probably a lot of people if I were in a room with you guys right now
[00:04:50] [SPEAKER_00]: and I asked you to raise your hand and there were 100 people in the room and I
[00:04:54] [SPEAKER_00]: said how many people actually don't like the business that they created.
[00:04:58] [SPEAKER_00]: I guarantee you over 50% will say that they have.
[00:05:02] [SPEAKER_00]: And many times we create this monster that's not really aligned with what we
[00:05:07] [SPEAKER_00]: want to do or with what we love to do.
[00:05:10] [SPEAKER_00]: OK so you have to understand one of the essential elements guys is loving
[00:05:15] [SPEAKER_00]: what you do now as an entrepreneur we have many different facets that we have
[00:05:20] [SPEAKER_00]: to deal with and everything we do as an entrepreneur we're not going to love
[00:05:24] [SPEAKER_00]: right but if you can eliminate those things and either pass them off to
[00:05:29] [SPEAKER_00]: somebody else or minimize them or even make it easier by using
[00:05:33] [SPEAKER_00]: technology that's great but if you love what you do guys you're going
[00:05:38] [SPEAKER_00]: to persevere when things get tough.
[00:05:41] [SPEAKER_00]: Now here's a real life example when you have a business that you're just
[00:05:45] [SPEAKER_00]: chasing the paper and not your purpose when things get hard what do people
[00:05:49] [SPEAKER_00]: tend to do?
[00:05:51] [SPEAKER_00]: What does human nature say?
[00:05:52] [SPEAKER_00]: You know what I'm tired of this let's look for a path of least resistance.
[00:05:57] [SPEAKER_00]: So what happens is when you're doing something just for the money a lot
[00:06:01] [SPEAKER_00]: of times when it gets hard you're going to leave that and then you're
[00:06:04] [SPEAKER_00]: going to have to jump to something else that doesn't work you're going
[00:06:07] [SPEAKER_00]: to jump to another business opportunity or whatever and if you're tired of
[00:06:11] [SPEAKER_00]: doing that guys essential element number one is you want to love what you do.
[00:06:17] [SPEAKER_00]: So for example with me I love helping entrepreneurs become successful
[00:06:22] [SPEAKER_00]: and I do this number one through the podcast and also through my private
[00:06:27] [SPEAKER_00]: coaching it fulfills me because I'm helping people move from A to B
[00:06:33] [SPEAKER_00]: and I'm helping them live their dream.
[00:06:35] [SPEAKER_00]: So I'll do this for free actually the podcast obviously I didn't make any
[00:06:39] [SPEAKER_00]: money from the podcast for about two to three years because I didn't do it
[00:06:44] [SPEAKER_00]: to make money.
[00:06:45] [SPEAKER_00]: I did it because I loved it.
[00:06:47] [SPEAKER_00]: I wanted to share my experiences with the B E B family positive and negative
[00:06:52] [SPEAKER_00]: because if you've listened to the show for any period of time I've talked
[00:06:55] [SPEAKER_00]: about this numerous amounts of times.
[00:06:57] [SPEAKER_00]: I've almost lost it all twice but I was blessed to be able to come back
[00:07:01] [SPEAKER_00]: and build two separate multi million dollar businesses after each potential loss.
[00:07:08] [SPEAKER_00]: So do what you love so you want to be able to love what you do.
[00:07:13] [SPEAKER_00]: So if you can find a way to monetize that that's the beauty about entrepreneurship
[00:07:19] [SPEAKER_00]: and I'm not saying guys that you can't make money doing something
[00:07:23] [SPEAKER_00]: that you don't love I've been there done that now for me personally
[00:07:28] [SPEAKER_00]: I enjoy the business of building businesses.
[00:07:31] [SPEAKER_00]: So when I start a new business that's I love doing that.
[00:07:35] [SPEAKER_00]: Oh man how am I going to get some traction here?
[00:07:38] [SPEAKER_00]: How am I going to get into this market?
[00:07:40] [SPEAKER_00]: What is it going to take?
[00:07:42] [SPEAKER_00]: So I enjoy the business of building businesses.
[00:07:45] [SPEAKER_00]: You know but number one I always want to focus on and help my people.
[00:07:50] [SPEAKER_00]: Number one.
[00:07:51] [SPEAKER_00]: So like I said I love helping entrepreneurs become successful
[00:07:56] [SPEAKER_00]: by doing private coaching by the podcast by all the ecosystem
[00:08:01] [SPEAKER_00]: with black entrepreneur blueprint be it the online courses, the books,
[00:08:05] [SPEAKER_00]: the website everything about the ecosystem is to help elevate your
[00:08:10] [SPEAKER_00]: entrepreneur IQ and make you into a better entrepreneur.
[00:08:15] [SPEAKER_00]: So that's essential element number one.
[00:08:18] [SPEAKER_00]: You love what you do and most businesses don't have that element.
[00:08:23] [SPEAKER_00]: Most entrepreneurs don't necessarily love what they do.
[00:08:27] [SPEAKER_00]: So you have to understand this is what takes you or allows you to
[00:08:31] [SPEAKER_00]: transform your business and your life.
[00:08:33] [SPEAKER_00]: And I talked about the word alignment and we're going to talk more
[00:08:37] [SPEAKER_00]: about that later on in today's episode.
[00:08:40] [SPEAKER_00]: So essential element number one you love what you do.
[00:08:43] [SPEAKER_00]: Before I move to element number two you want to identify
[00:08:47] [SPEAKER_00]: the things that you love to do guys.
[00:08:49] [SPEAKER_00]: Keep it super simple.
[00:08:51] [SPEAKER_00]: You may love to cook.
[00:08:52] [SPEAKER_00]: You may like writing.
[00:08:54] [SPEAKER_00]: You may like starting businesses.
[00:08:55] [SPEAKER_00]: You may like playing pickleball.
[00:08:57] [SPEAKER_00]: So don't discriminate when you start writing down the things that
[00:09:01] [SPEAKER_00]: you love to do.
[00:09:02] [SPEAKER_00]: We're going to put this all together and get the monetization out of it.
[00:09:05] [SPEAKER_00]: Okay.
[00:09:06] [SPEAKER_00]: So what you want to do is identify the things that you love to do.
[00:09:11] [SPEAKER_00]: Things that you would do for free.
[00:09:13] [SPEAKER_00]: Okay.
[00:09:14] [SPEAKER_00]: So that's essential element number one.
[00:09:17] [SPEAKER_00]: You love what you do.
[00:09:18] [SPEAKER_00]: Essential element number two.
[00:09:20] [SPEAKER_00]: You're good at what you do.
[00:09:22] [SPEAKER_00]: All right.
[00:09:23] [SPEAKER_00]: Loving something doesn't mean that you're good at it.
[00:09:25] [SPEAKER_00]: Right.
[00:09:26] [SPEAKER_00]: So I love to sing.
[00:09:28] [SPEAKER_00]: You know, I think I sound pretty good in the shower.
[00:09:31] [SPEAKER_00]: Right.
[00:09:31] [SPEAKER_00]: But if you ask my wife she's going to tell you something else.
[00:09:34] [SPEAKER_00]: I love to do it.
[00:09:36] [SPEAKER_00]: Right.
[00:09:36] [SPEAKER_00]: But I'm not good at it.
[00:09:38] [SPEAKER_00]: So number two essential element number two.
[00:09:41] [SPEAKER_00]: You're good at what you do.
[00:09:43] [SPEAKER_00]: Okay.
[00:09:44] [SPEAKER_00]: So for example, if you're a CPA and my CPA.
[00:09:47] [SPEAKER_00]: He loves doing taxes and he's good at what he does.
[00:09:52] [SPEAKER_00]: Okay.
[00:09:52] [SPEAKER_00]: So he loves doing taxes and he's good at what he does.
[00:09:56] [SPEAKER_00]: So you need to have some proficiency to be able to help other people out in your business.
[00:10:03] [SPEAKER_00]: So if you have a business that you're not providing a quality product or service, guess what?
[00:10:09] [SPEAKER_00]: You're not going to make any money.
[00:10:10] [SPEAKER_00]: Right.
[00:10:11] [SPEAKER_00]: It's just that simple.
[00:10:12] [SPEAKER_00]: So you have to have or have a propensity to be good at what you do.
[00:10:18] [SPEAKER_00]: So say you're a physical trainer, right?
[00:10:21] [SPEAKER_00]: And you come in and you're trying to train people and your five foot five, two hundred and seventy two pounds.
[00:10:29] [SPEAKER_00]: Right.
[00:10:30] [SPEAKER_00]: And you're a dude and you're talking about physical fitness.
[00:10:33] [SPEAKER_00]: You can't even get through the first set of exercises.
[00:10:35] [SPEAKER_00]: Right.
[00:10:36] [SPEAKER_00]: So you may love physical fitness, but you know, are you good at what you do?
[00:10:42] [SPEAKER_00]: Do you fit the part?
[00:10:43] [SPEAKER_00]: Do you have the experience?
[00:10:45] [SPEAKER_00]: Do you have the qualifications?
[00:10:46] [SPEAKER_00]: Are you certified, verified, bonafide?
[00:10:50] [SPEAKER_00]: All right.
[00:10:50] [SPEAKER_00]: You're good at what you do and what you have to watch out for today, guys.
[00:10:55] [SPEAKER_00]: There's all kind of what I call gurus out here trying to tell you or teach you how to do certain things,
[00:11:02] [SPEAKER_00]: selling courses, all types of stuff.
[00:11:05] [SPEAKER_00]: And they really not certified or verified or bonafide.
[00:11:08] [SPEAKER_00]: You got cats, you know, you know, the cool thing now was coming out the mud.
[00:11:14] [SPEAKER_00]: I learned this in jail.
[00:11:15] [SPEAKER_00]: I did that and there's nothing wrong with that.
[00:11:18] [SPEAKER_00]: But what I'm saying is when it comes to certain types of industries and businesses,
[00:11:22] [SPEAKER_00]: you need to have certifications.
[00:11:24] [SPEAKER_00]: There's a reason why you have to be certified to be a real estate agent.
[00:11:29] [SPEAKER_00]: There's a reason why you have to be certified to be a CPA certified public accountant.
[00:11:34] [SPEAKER_00]: There's a reason why you have to be certified to be a loan officer.
[00:11:39] [SPEAKER_00]: OK, there's certain things that you have to go through that certain criteria that you have to meet
[00:11:46] [SPEAKER_00]: in order to be qualified to teach something or to show people something.
[00:11:52] [SPEAKER_00]: So you can be good at what you do.
[00:11:55] [SPEAKER_00]: And if it doesn't have a certification behind it, then you need to have some proof.
[00:12:00] [SPEAKER_00]: Hey, these are people that I've helped.
[00:12:02] [SPEAKER_00]: This is what I've done in my own personal life, whatever it needs to be.
[00:12:07] [SPEAKER_00]: But you need to be good at what you do.
[00:12:09] [SPEAKER_00]: Loving something doesn't mean you're good at something.
[00:12:13] [SPEAKER_00]: And I remember a conversation I had with my mom years ago,
[00:12:18] [SPEAKER_00]: one of my good friends, nicest guy around, but he wasn't that sharp with the books.
[00:12:25] [SPEAKER_00]: Right? You know, good common sense, but he wasn't sharp with the books.
[00:12:29] [SPEAKER_00]: And he knew it and his parents knew it.
[00:12:31] [SPEAKER_00]: And his mom was talking to my mom and my buddy loved animals.
[00:12:37] [SPEAKER_00]: And she said to my mom, you know, I think I'm not going to call his name out
[00:12:42] [SPEAKER_00]: because I hope he ain't listening.
[00:12:43] [SPEAKER_00]: But I think, you know, such and such, you know, I told him he'd be a great veterinarian.
[00:12:48] [SPEAKER_00]: And my mom said, you know, I don't I don't mean to sound rude.
[00:12:53] [SPEAKER_00]: But do you think he'll have the the capacity
[00:12:57] [SPEAKER_00]: in terms of going to school, getting his vet degree and all of that.
[00:13:01] [SPEAKER_00]: Now he loved dogs and he loved animals.
[00:13:04] [SPEAKER_00]: But guess what?
[00:13:05] [SPEAKER_00]: He wasn't going to have that capacity to be a veterinarian.
[00:13:09] [SPEAKER_00]: Now he could be a dog trainer or something else,
[00:13:11] [SPEAKER_00]: but you have to understand you have to be good at what you do.
[00:13:16] [SPEAKER_00]: Just because you love something doesn't mean you're good at it.
[00:13:20] [SPEAKER_00]: Right? As I gave you the example of me singing in the shower,
[00:13:23] [SPEAKER_00]: I think I sound real good.
[00:13:25] [SPEAKER_00]: Right? Especially when the water's on because it drowns out my voice.
[00:13:29] [SPEAKER_00]: Right? So we're talking about the three missing essential elements
[00:13:34] [SPEAKER_00]: that will transform your business and your life.
[00:13:37] [SPEAKER_00]: Element number one, you love what you do.
[00:13:41] [SPEAKER_00]: Essential element number two, you're good at what you do.
[00:13:45] [SPEAKER_00]: All right. So you want to identify your gifts.
[00:13:48] [SPEAKER_00]: What are your gifts?
[00:13:50] [SPEAKER_00]: My buddy didn't have the gift of a book study
[00:13:54] [SPEAKER_00]: in terms of the capacity to get a veterinary degree.
[00:13:59] [SPEAKER_00]: That's just the truth.
[00:14:01] [SPEAKER_00]: I hear people tell kids all the time, you can be whatever you want to be.
[00:14:06] [SPEAKER_00]: I never told my kids that because it's not true.
[00:14:10] [SPEAKER_00]: You may want to be a pro basketball player.
[00:14:12] [SPEAKER_00]: Right? Guess what?
[00:14:14] [SPEAKER_00]: You're not that good and the chances are you're not going to make it.
[00:14:17] [SPEAKER_00]: So I'm not going to say don't don't go after your dream.
[00:14:21] [SPEAKER_00]: But guess what?
[00:14:22] [SPEAKER_00]: You can't do everything that you want to do.
[00:14:25] [SPEAKER_00]: You can be whatever you want to be.
[00:14:27] [SPEAKER_00]: It's just not how the world works.
[00:14:29] [SPEAKER_00]: But what you can do is identify your gifts.
[00:14:34] [SPEAKER_00]: And I've had this conversation with both of my daughters before about your gifts.
[00:14:39] [SPEAKER_00]: Your gifts are totally separate than everybody else's gifts.
[00:14:43] [SPEAKER_00]: Right? So don't look at what your friends are doing.
[00:14:46] [SPEAKER_00]: You know, your peers or somebody else.
[00:14:48] [SPEAKER_00]: They're on their own specific path.
[00:14:51] [SPEAKER_00]: They have their own journey that they have to walk.
[00:14:54] [SPEAKER_00]: You have your own journey.
[00:14:56] [SPEAKER_00]: So you want to identify your gifts.
[00:15:00] [SPEAKER_00]: The first thing we talked about was identifying the things that you love to do.
[00:15:04] [SPEAKER_00]: Things that you love.
[00:15:06] [SPEAKER_00]: The second thing is identify your gifts.
[00:15:08] [SPEAKER_00]: Everybody has different gifts.
[00:15:11] [SPEAKER_00]: So my oldest daughter, tremendous communicator.
[00:15:15] [SPEAKER_00]: She can write super well.
[00:15:17] [SPEAKER_00]: And she has a whole bunch of other talents.
[00:15:20] [SPEAKER_00]: Right now, now when it comes to athletics,
[00:15:23] [SPEAKER_00]: she was never one of the most physically gifted.
[00:15:27] [SPEAKER_00]: But the effort that she put into it allowed her to play at a higher level.
[00:15:31] [SPEAKER_00]: My younger daughter has different talents.
[00:15:34] [SPEAKER_00]: She's a little more creative.
[00:15:36] [SPEAKER_00]: She's a little more out.
[00:15:39] [SPEAKER_00]: Well, I'm not going to say out going, but a little more vivacious.
[00:15:42] [SPEAKER_00]: She's dabbling right now in in acting.
[00:15:46] [SPEAKER_00]: And it's something that she wants to do.
[00:15:49] [SPEAKER_00]: So you have to identify your gifts and everybody has different gifts.
[00:15:54] [SPEAKER_00]: So if you're listening to this, you never live by what another man.
[00:15:58] [SPEAKER_00]: And when I say man, I mean man or woman, what another man's or woman's path is.
[00:16:03] [SPEAKER_00]: You go and you blaze your own trail based on what you love to do
[00:16:09] [SPEAKER_00]: and what you're good at, what your gifts are.
[00:16:11] [SPEAKER_00]: OK, so understand that.
[00:16:14] [SPEAKER_00]: And we're talking about the three missing essential elements
[00:16:16] [SPEAKER_00]: that will transform your business and your life.
[00:16:19] [SPEAKER_00]: And I'm going to give you another real life story towards the end of today's segment.
[00:16:24] [SPEAKER_00]: Now, essential element number three,
[00:16:27] [SPEAKER_00]: people are willing to pay you for what you do.
[00:16:30] [SPEAKER_00]: So the question is, do people value your product or service
[00:16:35] [SPEAKER_00]: to the point that they'll pay you a fair price for it?
[00:16:38] [SPEAKER_00]: OK, I mentioned my buddy who's a CPA.
[00:16:41] [SPEAKER_00]: Number one, he loves to do taxes.
[00:16:44] [SPEAKER_00]: Number two, he's good at it.
[00:16:46] [SPEAKER_00]: And number three, people are willing to pay him for what he does.
[00:16:52] [SPEAKER_00]: So as we talked over, I think it was last weekend,
[00:16:55] [SPEAKER_00]: he was like, man, I love what I do.
[00:16:57] [SPEAKER_00]: I talked to another good friend of mine, family member, basically a damn near family member.
[00:17:03] [SPEAKER_00]: And I was asking and I was like, yo, when you going to retire?
[00:17:07] [SPEAKER_00]: And she was like, you know what?
[00:17:08] [SPEAKER_00]: I love what I do so much.
[00:17:09] [SPEAKER_00]: I don't even think about retiring.
[00:17:12] [SPEAKER_00]: She said, I just enjoy everything that I do and she's in the HR field.
[00:17:16] [SPEAKER_00]: And so being in that position, guys,
[00:17:19] [SPEAKER_00]: is something that will transform your business and your life.
[00:17:23] [SPEAKER_00]: So when we talk about essential element number three,
[00:17:26] [SPEAKER_00]: that people are willing to pay you for what you do.
[00:17:29] [SPEAKER_00]: Once again, it is are they going to pay you a fair price?
[00:17:34] [SPEAKER_00]: And when it comes to actually people paying you,
[00:17:37] [SPEAKER_00]: a lot of times you got to ask yourself,
[00:17:40] [SPEAKER_00]: are you solving a problem for them?
[00:17:42] [SPEAKER_00]: OK, people pay to get their problems solved.
[00:17:45] [SPEAKER_00]: Are you making them feel better? Right?
[00:17:49] [SPEAKER_00]: So if you're a therapist or whatever and you're helping people work through traumatic,
[00:17:53] [SPEAKER_00]: you know, traumatic events that that were in their lives, all right?
[00:17:57] [SPEAKER_00]: What are they paying you for?
[00:18:00] [SPEAKER_00]: And so the beauty of this is, guys,
[00:18:03] [SPEAKER_00]: people always ask me, is it better to follow your passion?
[00:18:07] [SPEAKER_00]: Or to solve a problem?
[00:18:10] [SPEAKER_00]: And to me, it's the intermingling of both.
[00:18:13] [SPEAKER_00]: You find something that you're passionate about
[00:18:16] [SPEAKER_00]: and you help people solve a problem in that area.
[00:18:20] [SPEAKER_00]: For example, we're talking about a central element number or number one.
[00:18:25] [SPEAKER_00]: You love what you do.
[00:18:27] [SPEAKER_00]: Central element number two, you're good at what you do.
[00:18:30] [SPEAKER_00]: A central element number three,
[00:18:32] [SPEAKER_00]: people are willing to pay you for what you do.
[00:18:34] [SPEAKER_00]: For example, with me, Black entrepreneur blueprint,
[00:18:38] [SPEAKER_00]: the podcast, the ecosystem, say to online courses.
[00:18:41] [SPEAKER_00]: I love what I do helping my people move their business from point A to B.
[00:18:47] [SPEAKER_00]: A central element number two, I'm good at what I do
[00:18:50] [SPEAKER_00]: because I'm a serial entrepreneur myself for 25 plus years.
[00:18:53] [SPEAKER_00]: And I'm able to lend my experiences positive and negative
[00:18:58] [SPEAKER_00]: to my coaching students to help them alleviate some of the bumps
[00:19:03] [SPEAKER_00]: that I went through as an entrepreneur.
[00:19:05] [SPEAKER_00]: An element number four, people are willing to pay me for what I do.
[00:19:10] [SPEAKER_00]: I have my individual coaching is $500 an hour
[00:19:15] [SPEAKER_00]: unless you go on a longer plan and we create a plan
[00:19:18] [SPEAKER_00]: where it's a little bit less expensive,
[00:19:20] [SPEAKER_00]: but people are willing to pay me for what I do.
[00:19:24] [SPEAKER_00]: Now, one of the beauties of that individual coaching I have is
[00:19:28] [SPEAKER_00]: I kind of pared that down because I'm trying to get away
[00:19:32] [SPEAKER_00]: from the dollars for hours type component.
[00:19:36] [SPEAKER_00]: And so right now, I only take five or four to five coaching clients
[00:19:41] [SPEAKER_00]: each quarter.
[00:19:43] [SPEAKER_00]: And so before I was taking seven, eight, ten,
[00:19:46] [SPEAKER_00]: and it just got to the point where I couldn't handle it.
[00:19:48] [SPEAKER_00]: But I hit all three essential elements.
[00:19:51] [SPEAKER_00]: I love what I did.
[00:19:53] [SPEAKER_00]: I was good at what I do and people are willing to pay me for what I do.
[00:19:58] [SPEAKER_00]: So when you put all of that together, guys, that's called alignment.
[00:20:03] [SPEAKER_00]: And I mentioned that earlier before, alignment.
[00:20:06] [SPEAKER_00]: You want to be aligned with how you're built.
[00:20:10] [SPEAKER_00]: Remember, identify the things that you love to do.
[00:20:14] [SPEAKER_00]: Identify your gifts.
[00:20:16] [SPEAKER_00]: And then you got to find out and put it together.
[00:20:19] [SPEAKER_00]: What, you know, what people are going to pay you for.
[00:20:22] [SPEAKER_00]: And it's funny because I have this written on my desk.
[00:20:25] [SPEAKER_00]: I have a big placard that says, do something that you love.
[00:20:29] [SPEAKER_00]: Do something you're good at.
[00:20:31] [SPEAKER_00]: Do something people will pay you for.
[00:20:33] [SPEAKER_00]: And when you put all of those together, it's just like pinpoint and monetize
[00:20:37] [SPEAKER_00]: your genius, my online course.
[00:20:39] [SPEAKER_00]: You put all of that together, guys, when you're living in that genius
[00:20:43] [SPEAKER_00]: or you're living like this with these three essential elements in your business,
[00:20:48] [SPEAKER_00]: then this is something, guys, that'll be able to transform your business
[00:20:52] [SPEAKER_00]: and your life.
[00:20:54] [SPEAKER_00]: I'm telling you, and we're going to get more in depth about that in a minute.
[00:20:58] [SPEAKER_00]: Now, before we get into the last segment of the show, guys,
[00:21:00] [SPEAKER_00]: let me share all my social media contact information and resource links.

[00:22:48] [SPEAKER_00]: Now, let's get back to the last segment of the show.
[00:22:52] [SPEAKER_00]: And today we're talking about the three missing essential elements
[00:22:55] [SPEAKER_00]: that will transform your business and your life.
[00:22:58] [SPEAKER_00]: So I had a conversation with my youngest daughter a couple of weeks ago.
[00:23:02] [SPEAKER_00]: She's doing great in corporate America.
[00:23:05] [SPEAKER_00]: She's making great money.
[00:23:07] [SPEAKER_00]: She's out in Chicago.
[00:23:09] [SPEAKER_00]: She's enjoying life.
[00:23:10] [SPEAKER_00]: But she said to me, she said, dad, is this all there is to life?
[00:23:14] [SPEAKER_00]: Going to work every day and coming home.
[00:23:17] [SPEAKER_00]: And I said, well, that's a part of it.
[00:23:19] [SPEAKER_00]: I said, it seems like you don't feel fulfilled.
[00:23:22] [SPEAKER_00]: And she was like, dad, I don't think I can do this the rest of my life.
[00:23:25] [SPEAKER_00]: And I said, that's cool.
[00:23:27] [SPEAKER_00]: I said, you're young.
[00:23:28] [SPEAKER_00]: And I said a lot of times what happens is that you're going to find what
[00:23:32] [SPEAKER_00]: you want to do by doing things that you don't want to do.
[00:23:37] [SPEAKER_00]: OK, when you go to a job and you realize that, you know,
[00:23:41] [SPEAKER_00]: I don't like this about this job.
[00:23:43] [SPEAKER_00]: Maybe I'll find another job that's more suitable to me or more aligned with me.
[00:23:48] [SPEAKER_00]: So here's part of a text message that I sent to her after our conversation.
[00:23:53] [SPEAKER_00]: And I said, kiddo,
[00:23:54] [SPEAKER_00]: the universe will make way for your gifts.
[00:23:57] [SPEAKER_00]: And once you know and understand them,
[00:23:59] [SPEAKER_00]: your path will be lit for your journey.
[00:24:03] [SPEAKER_00]: Identify your gifts.
[00:24:04] [SPEAKER_00]: And once again, once you have that identification of your gifts,
[00:24:08] [SPEAKER_00]: you're on the way, guys, to being able to live in your genius.
[00:24:12] [SPEAKER_00]: Remember, a central element number one, you love what you do.
[00:24:17] [SPEAKER_00]: A central element number two, you're good at what you do.
[00:24:20] [SPEAKER_00]: An essential element number three,
[00:24:22] [SPEAKER_00]: people are willing to pay for what you do.
[00:24:24] [SPEAKER_00]: Here's something else that I sent to my daughter and I didn't write this,
[00:24:28] [SPEAKER_00]: but I found this and it says the meaning of life is to find your gift.
[00:24:32] [SPEAKER_00]: The purpose of life is to give it away.
[00:24:35] [SPEAKER_00]: It means in life when we know or understand what our best,
[00:24:39] [SPEAKER_00]: what we're best at doing, then we give it away.
[00:24:43] [SPEAKER_00]: OK, and that's something that once you can get to that point, guys,
[00:24:48] [SPEAKER_00]: that's a life changer, game changer for your business and your life.
[00:24:52] [SPEAKER_00]: And that's what we're talking about today.
[00:24:55] [SPEAKER_00]: The three missing essential elements
[00:24:57] [SPEAKER_00]: that will transform your business and your life in summary, guys,
[00:25:02] [SPEAKER_00]: do something you love, do something you're good at and do something
[00:25:06] [SPEAKER_00]: people will pay you for.
[00:25:08] [SPEAKER_00]: And I promise you your business and your life will transform.
[00:25:12] [SPEAKER_00]: You're working in alignment, guys.
[00:25:14] [SPEAKER_00]: You're not fighting nature.
[00:25:16] [SPEAKER_00]: You're not fighting your natural or innate self.
[00:25:19] [SPEAKER_00]: You're harvesting that that natural self in nature and you're monetizing it.
[00:25:24] [SPEAKER_00]: And it's just like pinpointing monetize your genius.
[00:25:27] [SPEAKER_00]: I'm really just rewording it.
[00:25:29] [SPEAKER_00]: Your genius is the intersection of your passion and your talent.
[00:25:33] [SPEAKER_00]: The problem is most people don't know how to monetize it.
[00:25:37] [SPEAKER_00]: So if you're interested in monetizing it,
[00:25:40] [SPEAKER_00]: make sure you go to the website, blackentrepreneurblueprint.com.
[00:25:44] [SPEAKER_00]: You can hit pinpoint and monetize your genius,
[00:25:47] [SPEAKER_00]: which is one of our most popular online workshops.
[00:25:50] [SPEAKER_00]: And you can actually get to the point
[00:25:52] [SPEAKER_00]: where you can transform your business or your life.
[00:25:56] [SPEAKER_00]: There are tons of entrepreneurs out here that are making money.
[00:25:59] [SPEAKER_00]: But the question is, are you being fulfilled while you're making that money?
[00:26:05] [SPEAKER_00]: Or are you making money in spite of the lack of fulfillment?
[00:26:09] [SPEAKER_00]: So I've done it both ways, guys.
[00:26:11] [SPEAKER_00]: Sometimes you got to go grab that paper and then you try to figure out the rest.
[00:26:16] [SPEAKER_00]: But after a while, when you can align everything up with your nature,
[00:26:20] [SPEAKER_00]: that's when you're working at your maximum efficiency.
[00:26:24] [SPEAKER_00]: That's when you're working at your best.
[00:26:25] [SPEAKER_00]: That's when you wake up in the morning, ready to go and get at it.
[00:26:30] [SPEAKER_00]: Go to your office, go start your work.
[00:26:33] [SPEAKER_00]: How many of you guys have gone to a business that you created and you couldn't stand it?
[00:26:38] [SPEAKER_00]: I'm raising my hand because I've created several businesses that I ended up detesting.
[00:26:43] [SPEAKER_00]: And that's not a good thing.
[00:26:45] [SPEAKER_00]: You get in business to make money and be fulfilled.
[00:26:48] [SPEAKER_00]: And in addition to that, obviously you're serving people.
[00:26:51] [SPEAKER_00]: Life is about service.
[00:26:53] [SPEAKER_00]: How do you serve?
[00:26:54] [SPEAKER_00]: Everybody has their own way to serve.
[00:26:57] [SPEAKER_00]: And once again, do something that you love, do something that you're good at and do
[00:27:03] [SPEAKER_00]: something people will pay you for.
[00:27:04] [SPEAKER_00]: And I promise you, you're going to transform your business and your life.
[00:27:10] [SPEAKER_00]: Now, I say this each and every week, guys, because it's true,
[00:27:13] [SPEAKER_00]: we get more and more downloads because of you, the BEB family.
[00:27:17] [SPEAKER_00]: I appreciate you guys so much.
[00:27:18] [SPEAKER_00]: Please continue to spread the word about the podcast, the ecosystem,
[00:27:23] [SPEAKER_00]: the online courses, the books.
[00:27:26] [SPEAKER_00]: Everything is designed to help you elevate your entrepreneur IQ.
[00:27:30] [SPEAKER_00]: Remember, it's not about me.
[00:27:32] [SPEAKER_00]: It's not about you.
[00:27:32] [SPEAKER_00]: It's about us.
[00:27:33] [SPEAKER_00]: It's about building an economic power base in a worldwide black community by
[00:27:37] [SPEAKER_00]: building and supporting black owned businesses.
[00:27:40] [SPEAKER_00]: Love you guys.
[00:27:41] [SPEAKER_00]: See you same time next week.
[00:27:43] [SPEAKER_00]: Peace.
