[00:02:37] are making tens of thousands hundreds of thousands or even millions of dollars a month. Yes
[00:02:43] a month. Now these are the super affiliates that are out there but what we want to talk about
[00:02:48] today are the benefits of affiliate marketing and why you should look to use it as a part-time
[00:02:55] business, even a full-time business or a compliment to your current business. So we're going
[00:03:01] to talk about six benefits or six reasons you should look at affiliate marketing. Now
[00:03:06] before we get to today's show content I just want to share a few things with the Black

[00:04:05] content. Today we're going to discuss why smart entrepreneurs are caching in with affiliate
[00:04:11] marketing. So I gave you guys a little intro earlier but affiliate marketing is one of the
[00:04:17] best businesses be it a part-time business or a full-time business or a compliment to your
[00:04:23] current business and we're going to talk about some of the reasons why today. The first reason
[00:04:29] I want to talk about is low startup costs, low startup costs. Now as a serial entrepreneur
[00:04:36] and a business coach one of the biggest things I hear when people are starting a business
[00:04:40] is I don't have the money to start a successful business. And if you don't have the capital
[00:04:45] it's going to be super hard to be successful. So this alleviates the number one issue
[00:04:51] that most people have low startup costs. So unlike traditional business models affiliate
[00:04:56] marketing often requires a minimal upfront investment so you don't need to create a product
[00:05:02] or hold inventory or handle shipping or customer service or any of that. Your main focus guys
[00:05:08] is on marketing and driving sales which can be done through various platforms that you likely
[00:05:14] already use. So you have a low startup cost and the beauty of this is if you already have a
[00:05:20] platform say you're an entrepreneur and you have a database and an email list. If you can find
[00:05:27] an affiliate product that's synergistic with what you sell then it's just as simple as sending
[00:05:33] out an email to your database with this with this product link on it. It doesn't get much easier
[00:05:39] than this guys. Just imagine at your a business coach and you coach entrepreneurs. Now you have
[00:05:46] a database of over 3000 prospects in that database that you've reached out to or they've reached out
[00:05:53] to you with one of your lead magnets or some type of connection. Now just imagine that you found
[00:06:00] a software that entrepreneurs could use and I'll use the example of QuickBooks. QuickBooks is an
[00:06:06] accounting software. So now you go to QuickBooks, you become an affiliate and all you do is you send out
[00:06:14] a link in an email about QuickBooks and why they should use QuickBooks. How simple is that?
[00:06:21] So low startup cost. That's a perfect reason to get into affiliate marketing, be it part time
[00:06:28] as a full-time affiliate marketer or as a compliment to what you're currently doing. The second
[00:06:34] benefit of being an affiliate marketer is flexibility and freedom. Flexibility and freedom guys.
[00:06:41] One of the reasons that I became an entrepreneur is because I wanted to control my time.
[00:06:46] If you want flexibility and freedom, you have to learn how to control cash flow and passive
[00:06:52] income. That's the freedom equation. Cash flow plus passive income equals freedom.
[00:06:59] And when you're an affiliate marketer, you can control that. So as an affiliate marketer,
[00:07:04] you have the flexibility guys to work anywhere at any time so you can work from home,
[00:07:09] you can be on the road, you can travel so you can choose where you want to work.
[00:07:14] And once you set up your affiliate marketing funnel and your system, you'll be able to make
[00:07:20] money in your sleep as they say. You can also choose which products or services to promote.
[00:07:25] So that gives you control over your work and the potential to align your marketing efforts
[00:07:30] with your personal interest or experiences. So if you have an interest in a specific topic
[00:07:36] or vertical, you can find an affiliate product to sell in that market. Now here's a real life
[00:07:42] example that people may not even think is possible. But on Clickbank, which is one of the
[00:07:48] largest affiliate marketing platforms where you can find affiliate offers go to clickbank.com,
[00:07:54] CLICKBANK.com. There's an offer for a guy that does woodworking. He actually teaches you how to
[00:08:03] build a shed. A shed that you put in your backyard and this offer has been going on for years.
[00:08:09] I've seen it about probably about five or six years, but it's still one of the most
[00:08:14] popular affiliate products out there that people are making money with. So if you like to build
[00:08:21] things, you're a handyman, you like to build cabinets, sheds, tables, or whatever,
[00:08:25] this is something that may interest you. So you can literally go on a Clickbank,
[00:08:30] you can actually become an affiliate for this product and then you can sell it to the people
[00:08:36] that obviously want this type of product. So if you're in this space, you may have a network
[00:08:41] of people, you may be able to get a database or get in front of people and we'll talk about that
[00:08:47] a little bit later too, getting in front of audiences just to give you guys one quick hack.
[00:08:53] If you ever go on Corer or Reddit, there are all types of conversations out there. So just imagine
[00:09:01] if this guy who's becoming an affiliate to sell this DIY shed, do it yourself. Shed building
[00:09:08] affiliate marketing offer, he gets on a platform and people talking about DIY products.
[00:09:15] Just imagine if he comments on the actual conversation and then puts his link for that affiliate
[00:09:24] product on there, that's free. It doesn't cost anything now. You don't want to be on there spamming,
[00:09:29] you know, going into Corer or Reddit like that. You want to add some value but you can put your
[00:09:34] link out there. So it gives you freedom and flexibility not just about where you work but about
[00:09:40] what type of products or services that you market. So that's tremendous guys. So this beauty in that
[00:09:47] because you can market multiple products at multiple times. It doesn't have to be in one specific
[00:09:53] vertical but if you want to do something that you have an affinity for, that's just even better.
[00:10:00] Okay. So what we're talking about today guys is we're talking about why smart entrepreneurs are
[00:10:05] cashing in with affiliate marketing. Now let's talk about benefit number three passive income
[00:10:12] potential passive income potential. So that's a big buzzword. We always hear passive income
[00:10:19] and truly guys nothing is totally passive. You still have to monitor things. Remember cash flow
[00:10:26] plus passive income equals freedom. That is the freedom equation. So passive income guys once you've
[00:10:32] established your affiliate marketing channels and content they can actually earn money around the
[00:10:38] clock by themselves. So if you set up a real good sales funnel for affiliate marketing products
[00:10:44] or services then you could be making money while you sleep. Make sure if you're interested go to

[00:11:12] on why I got into e-commerce was really for flexibility and freedom. And bear with me if you heard
[00:11:20] this before but years ago when I started my first e-commerce business I was selling my flat
[00:11:26] ions like crazy. So in my first six months I grossed $272,000 with a 71 72% profit margin so that
[00:11:35] was about $140,000 in hip pocket national in six months. Now one of the beauties of this is my
[00:11:44] daughters in high school and even middle school played field hockey they ran track they swam
[00:11:50] they were in a lot of academic stuff so I had the freedom and flexibility to be at all of their
[00:11:57] events and it's funny because their friends used to ask hey does your dad work I see him at all
[00:12:02] the games so in high school field hockey was their big game that was the number one sport that they
[00:12:09] love. So what happens was I never missed my daughters a three years apart let me state that first
[00:12:16] so one was a senior at the time and then my other one was a freshman but since my youngest daughter
[00:12:22] was a freshman I never missed a home game I never missed an away game I never missed a scrimmage
[00:12:29] I never missed a travel travel game when they're AAU teams and we're traveling to Maryland Virginia
[00:12:35] Florida all over the place for AAU stuff I never missed any of that stuff and that's something
[00:12:42] guys that you cannot get back you cannot get back that time so in terms of passive income potential
[00:12:50] that's beautiful and that's one of the reasons I went into e-commerce as one of the businesses
[00:12:55] that I really focus on so the majority of my income comes from my e-commerce brands I probably
[00:13:02] say about 65% of my income comes from e-commerce brands which pretty much are passive also my
[00:13:10] B.E.B. platform and the ecosystem out it is probably about 25% and then you know other stuff
[00:13:17] that I do in terms of my revenue and stuff like that but passive income guys passive income
[00:13:24] that's one reason that you also want to look at affiliate marketing now let's talk about
[00:13:30] benefit number four and this is a real good benefit now that people don't understand right when
[00:13:36] I started man it was tough to get traction and get visibility but benefit number four is access
[00:13:43] to a broad audience okay so the internet has global reach guys and affiliate marketing actually
[00:13:49] capitalizes on this by allowing you to market products and services all over the world worldwide
[00:13:56] literally so when I was coming up as an entrepreneur it wasn't even cool 25 years ago you left
[00:14:03] corporate America to do what to be an entrepreneur but now the whole keywords and the buzzwords
[00:14:09] of founder entrepreneur that's a cool thing but when I started it was like yo you must be crazy
[00:14:17] something leaving a great job to start your own business and at that time back in the early 90s
[00:14:24] you know you didn't have the internet so you had to spend advertising money in the newspapers
[00:14:29] magazines TV radio all types of high cost media to get your message out whereas now you can build
[00:14:38] your own platform and you can access a worldwide audience so another benefit of affiliate marketing
[00:14:45] guys is being able to access a worldwide audience literally if you do it right and build your own
[00:14:50] platform you can do it for free okay so this broadens your potential customer base and it
[00:14:57] increases significantly increases higher sales volume or the ability to create higher sales volume
[00:15:05] because now you can reach everywhere so just imagine if you're running a radio ad in Philadelphia
[00:15:11] like I used to run years ago I'm only hitting the Philadelphia metropolitan area now if I go on
[00:15:17] Facebook Instagram Twitter or whatever I can reach a worldwide audience so access to a broader
[00:15:24] audience is benefit number four of affiliate marketing benefit number five performance based
[00:15:32] earnings performance based earnings now a lot of people are scared of that right you know but
[00:15:39] if you're a high achiever and you're a super salesperson and you're a go getter you want to be
[00:15:44] paid what's your worth right so the affiliate marketing model guys it's inherently performance
[00:15:50] based meaning that you earn commission based on the sales of the leads that you generate okay or
[00:15:56] the sales or the leads that you generate and this can be highly motivating if you understand and
[00:16:02] know the formula to be successful with affiliate marketing okay this is something guys that if
[00:16:09] you're in a job right now and you know you're overworked and underpaid it's not going to get better
[00:16:16] unless you make those changes but for people that are performance based if you know that you can get
[00:16:23] out there and make more money doing something else why not try it and the beauty of affiliate
[00:16:28] marketing is you can do it on a part-time basis while you have a full-time job now I know there are
[00:16:34] a lot of people that transition from part-time affiliate marketers to full-time affiliate marketers
[00:16:40] because the beauty is they were making so much money and it's easy to scale once you understand
[00:16:46] what you're doing and that's what my whole workshop is about AM cashmachine.com it's teaching

[00:16:59] performance based earnings you can't beat that guys so if you're capped in the situation
[00:17:05] an earning situation now it's funny because most jobs that aren't sales related or focused
[00:17:10] you know what you're going to earn every pay peer you know what you're going to earn
[00:17:15] every year you may get a bonus or something like that unless you're in the sales field where you
[00:17:21] could actually eat what you kill okay so if you're not scared of a performance based earnings
[00:17:28] affiliate marketing is for you okay so don't sleep on that part-time full-time or as a compliment
[00:17:35] to what you're currently doing and now number six and to me this is the most important benefit
[00:17:42] of affiliate marketing and a lot of people sleep on this and I really and truly don't understand why
[00:17:50] number six you can substitute your products or services for those affiliate products or services
[00:17:57] you can substitute your products or services for the affiliate products or services and let me
[00:18:04] just explain so if you create a successful affiliate marketing funnel which is pretty simple
[00:18:11] drive traffic to a landing page you have the affiliate offer you also have to capture the
[00:18:18] email address and it's a couple other things that you have to do but the biggest thing is
[00:18:24] understanding and learning how to create that affiliate sales funnel and it's kind of simple
[00:18:32] but people miss out on a few key components and once you master that you can literally market
[00:18:39] anything so take take this as a perfect example say you are a fitness instructor and you have a
[00:18:48] fitness group you train you do online training you have all types of products but you want to create
[00:18:54] a supplement product or provide that to your customers or your constituents now you may not know
[00:19:00] how to go about formulating a supplement or where to get it or whatever so what you do is you go
[00:19:07] to click bank.com and you become an affiliate for some type of supplement that is synergistic
[00:19:14] what you're teaching or what you're training okay so fitness it could be way protein it could be
[00:19:20] some other weight loss supplement it doesn't matter something that's synergistic
[00:19:26] now as an affiliate you may earn 50% of the sales price 65% of the sales price or whatever
[00:19:33] that's great that's fine and dandy you didn't really do anything but create that affiliate sales funnel
[00:19:40] and provide that affiliate link to people now people that are looking to take it to the next step
[00:19:47] which most entrepreneurs are they're saying okay if I can sell you know tens of thousands of dollars
[00:19:54] of that supplement why don't I create my own supplement and substitute that for the affiliate
[00:20:02] product so now if you're selling a fifty dollar affiliate supplement and you're making twenty five
[00:20:08] dollars off the supplement that's cool you don't have any inventory shipping anything like that
[00:20:14] but you don't own the customer per se the beauty of affiliate marketing is if you do it correctly
[00:20:20] you're going to be able to direct people to the affiliate offers and also build your email database
[00:20:27] while you're doing this so now what this fitness trainer does he goes and he starts researching
[00:20:34] private label label supplements and he finds something that's similar to what he's selling
[00:20:39] so now he says okay I'm selling it for fifty dollars but it's only going to cost me seven dollars
[00:20:47] to produce so now it's cost to me seven I'm selling for fifty I have a forty three dollar
[00:20:54] profit per bottle versus making twenty five dollar profit per bottle in addition to that you control
[00:21:02] the product okay now with affiliate marketing there's some cons in it too so the affiliate can stop
[00:21:08] the offer they can change the compensation the beauty of being an affiliate is you can just jump
[00:21:14] to something else in another vertical or a similar type product or service but the number six once
[00:21:22] again you can substitute your product or service for that affiliate product or service and make more
[00:21:28] money and be in control and I'm telling you guys that's what you should be thinking about it's great
[00:21:35] making money on affiliates right but you have to wait for them you know for them to pay you and
[00:21:40] normally through click bank and other places you get paid very quickly a couple of days I think
[00:21:46] yeah it's normally every week Amazon pays out usually twice a year I mean twice a year twice a month
[00:21:53] every other Wednesday or every Wednesday something like that I got so much stuff coming in from
[00:21:58] affiliates it's getting crazy but that's another benefit so the real beauty behind this is and the
[00:22:05] takeaway I want you guys to leave this is with is if you can create revenue for other people
[00:22:13] with affiliate marketing and learning how to build affiliate marketing funnels you can do the same
[00:22:18] thing for yourself so think about this you know people always say if you can sell you'll always have
[00:22:24] a job and they're pretty much right because even if nobody hires you you can sell your own stuff
[00:22:32] so once you understand and learn this affiliate marketing formula you can then leverage that
[00:22:38] and use it for your own products or services okay so this to me guys is a no brain I don't care where
[00:22:46] you are in your entrepreneurial journey I don't care if you you're thinking about becoming an
[00:22:51] entrepreneur you're a new entrepreneur you work full-time and you're looking for a part-time
[00:22:57] side hustle or you're looking to be a full-time affiliate or you want to compliment what you're
[00:23:03] currently doing to me understanding and learning how to market products and services are the best way
[00:23:11] to build a business you want to get those hard skills the other beauty with affiliate marketing is
[00:23:17] all you're doing is finding the customer or prospect and directing them to the offer already
[00:23:24] because when you're an affiliate what when you have an affiliate product or you're selling an
[00:23:29] affiliate product all you want to do is get them to the affiliate sales page they've already created
[00:23:35] be it a video sales letter a long-for-unformed sales page they have done all the hard work you just have
[00:23:42] to get them there but what you can do while you're learning this guys is you can mimic I'm not
[00:23:49] saying copy verbatim but you can mimic what they do if you're selling a weight loss supplement
[00:23:55] as an affiliate and you decide you know what I'm making this guy a lot of money let me create my
[00:24:01] own supplement now look at his landing page look at his sales video look at how they're marketing
[00:24:07] and promoting the product and all you do is you substitute his product or her product for your product
[00:24:15] and now you create something that is super similar and if it's if the product is right if the
[00:24:20] messaging is right now when you substitute your product you're going to still make those sales
[00:24:26] and the beauty is you control it all you don't have to worry about them discontinuing the affiliate
[00:24:32] program you don't have to worry about them changing the commission structure so once you learn
[00:24:37] it understand how to drive traffic and make sales for other people damn use it for yourself right man
[00:24:46] that's that's common sense right but a lot of times common sense ain't that common so to me when I
[00:24:51] think about affiliate marketing I'm not looking at it just to sell somebody else's products and
[00:24:56] services I'm looking to replace those products or services with your own products or services not
[00:25:03] all of them because you're not going to even be into some of the type stuff that that people produce
[00:25:09] okay so if it's something synergistic yeah go ahead and do it if it's profitable if you find a
[00:25:15] profitable affiliate promotion that's not in your niche and you can market it why not now before

[00:27:48] how to generate traffic to your landing page what to put on your landing page what people forget
[00:27:54] to put on their landing page which is probably the most important component of that landing page that
[00:28:00] helps people convert that traffic into affiliate sales so it's a whole I'm telling you guys it's
