The world screams that revenge and vengeance are our right and even our responsibility if we are to be taken seriously or if we truly love ourselves. What we want is revenge. We want the sweet taste of someone getting their “just desserts.”
God has a completely different opinion on revenge. “Vengeance is mine,” says the Lord. He has declared that He will repay the wrongs done in the world.
But what do we do when we want vengeance and God is not delivering justice as we want Him to?
This week we will dig into what we can do when people hurt us. We will talk about practical ways to navigate the path of pain when evil is done to you and how you can continue walking in step with God while seeking justice for real and painful situations in your life.
