I know I probably should not have jumped into that conversation at work, but I don’t want to be left out.
I understand my friend. It can be difficult if your faith is important to you and you don’t want to rock the boat in your social circles. It is much easier to just go with the flow instead of calling attention to yourself.
The truth is that a life of faith is not just about you, it is representing a life that honors God. The next time you are in a situation that you need to decide whether or not to go with the flow or stay firm in your faith, I want to encourage you to ask God for strength. As God for the strength to not bend with the ways of the world and instead remain firm in His light. You never know - your refrain may spark curiosity in someone in the group to follow in your footsteps of faith.
