If these people saw the real me, they wouldn't want me around.” I get it. We all have a need for belonging, and maybe you feel as though you need to fake things just to belong. This could be in your workplace or at school, maybe in your family. The truth is that you are not defined by others, you are defined by who you are in God. God created a masterpiece in you. You are perfectly made in His eyes. Yes, society conditions us to define our worth by our wealth, our possessions, and social status, but none of this is important to God. God can help you to know who you are and guide you to the environment and community that you will flourish and thrive - just as you are.
