As Christians we know our identity is in Christ and we want our character to resemble Jesus. When Jesus faced adversity...He stood in truth...and spoke in love. His desire was for everyone to be with Him in the Kingdom of Heaven.
Sports has been the avenue for us to grow in these areas. Point Guards, Quarter Backs, Team Captains...all face massive amounts of adversity throughout an entire game. The most successful players are the ones that are able to respond and embrace the adversity, which becomes contagious for the rest of the team.
The REAL TALK portion of the show is the most important part! The lessons that we have learned from sports, directly translate to improving our daily lives, our relationships, and most importantly our faith in Christ.
